A reader kindly poked me today to inquire how I was doing since I haven't posted anythin on my stories or blog for months now. Real life slammed me pretty hard after my May update and writing has been at the bottom of the list. Just to detail a few of the incidents, I've been cleaning up a flooded basement, taking care of sick kids (three hospital visits; thank god there aren't bills to pay), an ant infestation, and my car breaking down again and again.
