One hundred! Where do you people keep coming from?

Before Three Ponies' Advice, I'd never written a story that would have even been seen by a hundred people. It's easy to see why: TPA is a fanfic, for an active fandom, published on the internet, and entered into a contest held by a popular author. I'd never done any of those things before. But even so ...

At the moment TPA has 100 faves, 122 likes (with 0 dislikes), 1282 views on the most-viewed chapter, and 3424 views overall. I'm ... I'm just genuinely flabbergasted that so many people have enjoyed – or just not hated! – a story I've written. I try to imagine those twelve-hundred-odd different brains living twelve-hundred-odd different lives that have absorbed my silly words about ponies, and I can't. I just. I can't.

These days, when I'm sad or upset, I re-read the feedback on my ponyfics.

I'm shy and I'm quiet and I don't reach thousands of people. It's ridiculous.

P.S. I know I promised you more fics four months ago. They're, uh ... they're coming. Yeah. Definitely, eventually arriving at some point in the future. Maybe the start of school, which is next week, will motivate me more than the end did.
