After the War of the Ring and the return of peace to Middle-earth, Gandalf the White departs for Equestria to pay a visit to two old friends of his; specifically, two old alicorn friends of his.
What he does not foresee is that Equestria, like its populace, has changed vastly since his previous visit, and as a result he is quite unprepared for what lies ahead. Can the old wizard endure the trials that this new journey will bring to him? Surely, but only if he makes a few more friends along the way.
Six of them, to be exact.
Written with a heavily Tolkien-influenced style, which is pre-read and edited by thefluffyone and Shadow Fyre, who are both absolute lifesavers. Countless thanks for your help, men!

FIRST AND FOREMOST: No Assassin's Creed related material here.
All seems well in Equestria until a certain draconequus returns with a vengeance. This time, however, there will be no more fun, games, and chocolate rain. For some reason, Discord's not joking around anymore.
Twilight Sparkle and her friends must die.
Since this is Discord, however... there's going to be a convoluted way to do it. And what could be more convoluted than having a ragtag band of pony mercenaries with a shrouded past (at least attempt) to eliminate the targets?
Co-authored with DinamoKiev, a friend of mine. Rated T for strong-ish language in later chapters and gore. Some very slight grimdark elements later, possibly, and be aware of possible character death.

Hey everyone, sorry for disappearing (again)...
Anyway, my life's been absolute clutter for the last few months. Work, work, and more work, and I haven't been able to catch a breath until recently. I'm not going to bore you with the details, but I've had to deal with high-stakes exams, plus a grandfather who's recovering from a car crash. Can't wait for the school year to be over, because then I'll be far less likely to disappear. Bleh. :[
Well, that's one matter addressed. The other, which I know most of you are here for, is the update status for The White Rider.
I thought about it, and I think I'm going to have to cancel it.
Now, look, I just don't feel like I'm worthy of writing it. You all deserve a far more dedicated author, one who will actually provide consistent updates. I'm far too distracted by all the things that life just throws at me, and I take way too long writing each chapter. The quality isn't worth the wait either, in my opinion. A hearty thanks to Shadow Fyre and thefluffyone for all the help they've provided, and all others who have helped.
It's been fun, guys. I'm sorry.
...Just kidding.
The story is eternal. Cancel it? Ha. No way in Hell. It will stand always.
Anyway, I've been writing a bit here and there over the last several weeks. It stands at a pretty decent length, but I'm waiting for one great day where I can just obliterate its unfinishedness, which must come soon. Schoolwork has been HORRIBLE.
Don't worry, all. This ridiculous wait time between chapters will end come June, when the school year ends and I can just write, write, and write.

I'd just like to say thank you. Because of your story, The White Rider, I've taken up reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings series. I finished The Hobbit about a week ago, and am currently on The Fellowship of the Ring, and I must say, if it weren't for your story invoking my curiosity, I'd never have starting reading such an amazing series.
