....Sorry.... · 5:46am
Soooooooooo, if you are reading this you may have noticed that I have not updated any of my stories over the past week.... again... We had a good thing going with the whoel alternating stories each Friday setup, but I'm afraid its just not going to work right now.
I'm about to start applying for substitute jobs, student teaching positions, and hopefully a higher-paying 9-5 job for over the next few months and the preparations for that have left me with very little time for writting. Add my usual class schedule into the mix and my free time has fallen to the point where its essentially whatever time I can get behind the counter at work while no one is looking... Needless to say, the next chapter of "From Sacred Flames" is still underway, but it has a serious perspective switch that has made writing it a bit more difficult for me; something I was not expecting when I first started said chapter two weeks ago...
Anyway, this is essentially just here to let you all know that I have not stopped writing... I've just had to slow down a bit is all.
There'll be water if God wills it.

The story's first chapter is up, but I don't want to officially publish it until the second or third chapter is ready as well... I'll submit it soon though, I promise!
A decent summary, but there's more that can be taken away from the story... taken away and set in Equestria.... haha, Set in Equestria.... I honestly didn't mean to do that but now that it happened I'm going to pretend that that reference was intentional... I think I'm essentially just talking to myself through my keyboard now...
....soon....
Semester's over, time for ponies! Finally done with my last class and, by the look of things, I actually have a real winter vacation this year. Barring the 40 hours of work each week, I should actually have some free time with which to enjoy not being in class
As a special commemoration for this turn of events, new chapters for all my stories! Over then next week or two there will be a new chapter for each of my three current stories (with Sand on the Doorstep's "on hiatus" tag officially being removed, as well as the addition of a new, collaborative story with one of my fellow "authors" (I think our combined self esteem would be just enough to remove one of those quotation marks, but not the other...). Not revealing anything about that one just yet, but I can tell you that if it goes as planned, your going to want to start following both of us to get the entirety of the story, rather than just half of it.
Two weeks of school left... Thats just 8 days, three finals, two field work write-ups, one course organizer, and an ungodly tedious term paper about how gunpowder changed warfare in Renaissance-era Europe until I can dedicate all my time not spent at work (and probably some of that too) to fun things... like this site for instance.... until then, however, don't expect to see me around or any new updates on the current stories for some time... Well, one more for "Come Dawn or Darkness" in a day or two, but after that nothing til classes are out.
...see ya around and whatnot...
Currently working on two stories and about to start a third thing with a friend of mine which one of us will post as a story. The Dark Tower story will be updated with a new chapter each week (Two the first week), my second story will not be up until I am confident that I can actually turn it into an interesting, coherent story and not just a bunch of scenes involving the main character dying over and over again... but... yeah, that will be a major part of it still. As for the third; well lets just say that the other person does not yet know that he is helping me write it, but it is proceeding nicely none-the-less. Probably going to let him post that as he sees fit once we both decide its ready. Just to be clear, the Dark Tower story is my main priority right now, but due to severe ADD and such I can not physically stay focused on just one project at a time. Feel free, nay, encouraged to yell at me if I start to fall behind or if my story-telling stops being.... good.
