Top five favourites and reasons; 1: A Slice of Life; Princess Celestia decides to diet, and surely nothing could go wrong yes? Wrong. Funny for making you expect something, then doing something different. And when its clear what will happen, its still funny anyway. Worth the read without a doubt. 2: Scootamom; an alternate idea of who's Scootaloo's parents. Again, pretty funny even with the long chapter lengths. It also has its serious moments and heart-warming moments too. 3: Top Gear: The Pony Special; I'm a fan of the Top Gear show. This fits what the show would do if Equestria existed beyond a dimensional portal somewhere. If you like Top Gear, you wont want to miss reading this. 4: Three Hundred and Fifty; relatively new story. The premise is that Sweetie Belle is dying. Twilight makes a device to take her to the future to hopefully save her, but it breaks on arriving. Now a healed Sweetie Belle and Twilight are stuck in the future. This one could be worth keeping an eye on, to find out what becomes of them. 5: The Sweetie Chronciles: Fragments; Sweetie Belle witnesses a magical accident involving Twilight, which fragments Twilight and catapults Sweetie into other dimensions, where she must find the fragments to restore Twilight and return to her original dimension. Reminds me a bit of Clamp's Tsubasa, and uses other fanfics as settings for the other dimensions, it takes a while for updates to appear, but I think its entertaining regardless.

So, while not a lot has gone on lately, due to the fact I'm not trying to disturb my editor as much (he's currently going through a very busy time, you can understand why I wouldnt want to disturb him), the comedy story I said I wanted to work on in my last blog post has finally arrived.

High and Dry. Using the comedy style found in the British TV show Red Dwarf (note; it is NOT a retelling of Red Dwarf using ponies, nor is it meant to reflect that show in any way), I intend to update this in a different format to my previous stories.

Ruining Harmony is a long, dark story, as such chapters are uploaded when they have gone through a lot of editing.

Hearth's Warming Eve for Scootaloo, while finished, was written all at once and edited at the same time, with the story separated into parts and uploaded over a few days.

Erinn, while now cancelled, was intended to have the same time-frame of uploading as Ruining Harmony.

But High and Dry works differently for uploading. Imagine it as series and episodes. Each chapter is a single "episode" (the exceptions being Leak and Parasol, which are a two parter). Each "series" consists of six "episodes". Its also different because it is the first comedy story I have on here, though be safe knowing it isnt the first time I've written comedy ever.

Those who've followed my older stories may wonder when the Hearth's Warming Eve for Scootaloo sequel is coming, all I can say right now is, it'll be coming soon. I'm just stuck on a bit that's turning out to be harder to write than I thought.

With that said, I was wondering if I should start doing blog posts to cover more than just my stories and progress on them. Any thoughts?

Hearth's Warming Eve for Scootaloo

Hearth's Warming Eve is coming, and Scootaloo, like all ponies, is looking forward to it. On returning home to the orphanage, she discovers the decorations arent exactly what she imagined. Spurred on by the surpressed sadness in the other ponies eyes, she decides that she has to do something about it...

This is a special three-part short for Christmas and shares nothing in common with my other underway fic, Ruining Harmony.
