Now I know that about two weeks ago (or whatever I don't actually keep track of time, which is possibly why I'm so bad at replying to things) I said that there would be Harpflank and Sweets "tomorrow" and that it was a "stone cold promise."

Yes.

Anyway I started rereading Homestuck because that is the kind of thing I decide to do (I have achieved, as of a couple months ago, seven complete rereads of Sluggy Goddamn Freelance, for perspective), and Homestuck is pretty much constructed from the ground-up to be my favourite thing in all possible continuums forever, so I got a little distracted. Also my brain is now entirely trapped in that mentality so I was having trouble stepping into pony words.

It'll be soon though. I'm seriously like, iunno, 1k from finishing. Which is not to say it's going to be any GOOD (no seriously it's really awful I am straight-up at the point of just finishing it so it's done), but it'll be OUT. And then I can started on the next monstrosity, which will either be Lyra Heartstrings Dies In Lava!!! or Metropony Girls (which is only a half-formed idea but a glorious monster of one).

Anyway, yes. Did you see how I managed to get through an entire post about Homestuck without making ONE reference? Motherfuckin miracles.

My thoughts on the matter remain exactly the same. We'll see when we watch the movie. The bar, however, has been raised the merest barest finest smidgen of a tidge of a little bit higher. Here's hoping.

Some of them are kind of twaddle but some of them really spoke to me, like "Bookmovie is the movie in words," and "Don't think of words when you stop but to see picture better." When I write I'm not writing a story I'm writing the pictures in my head, and this guy hit the crux of it in, like, six words.

No, but seriously, it's hella cool to be picked for it because I know RBD has great taste. It's free publicity, it's a vote of confidence, and I'm super thankful.

I went back into Harpflank and Sweets: The Movie to do some surreptitious edits to make the story not so mind-bogglingly predictable, and oh my god it's so bad. It's SO BAD. I am now even more of the opinion that is only the idea in general and a certain bloody-mindedness that saves H+S from the bin.

In other news, more H+S tomorrow! =D

Sadly, this chapter is also awful. I became ENTIRELY DISILLUSIONED with it about a third of the way through so the last two thirds are... rushed, to say the least. Yes, it took me a year to rush it. Shush.

Anyway, yes. For the first time in a year I'll be able to send an update to EqD. I eagerly await people saying "Harpflank and Sweets still exists?" THAT'LL SHOW THEM, THE DOUBTERS *shakes fist*

Can anyone tell me a good way of taking easy screenshots of a window? Gyazo doesn't seem to like taking pictures at large resolutions and I have a sudden desire to work on some stuff that requires a lot of screencaps.
