Would this be a stupid idea?

I'm not planning on doing this any time soon, or even planning to do it at all. It's more just a 'what if' kinda idea in my mind.

The first two chapters of Affliction, taken together, are 70,000 words. With the end of the third volume, I expect it to breach 100,000 words. That's novel length. So it's, well, big enough. It would require editing... and then I'd have to get it published somewhere.

But then there are the reasons I'm doing this.

I'm not doing this to be all like 'gib money plz'. I have some money coming my way that should see me set for a year or so while I go back to school, and I'm a pretty simple bloke. I don't go penny-pinching, and I certainly wouldn't do that with a story. I mainly want to do this so that I can say to myself 'hey, I made something that someone was willing to pay for and put on their shelf or hide under their beds for those closet bronies.

Because I think that would be exceptionally neat.

So the real question is, if Affliction had a physical copy made... would you buy it?

Or is this one of those stupid moments I'm having where my ego gets the better of me?

Old Swarm, that is.

I'm writing up the 'lost' chapter right now, which is marked adult, and is based basically on sex. A lot of people just won't read it because, well, it's clop. I understand that, and I don't want to deprive said readers of a little nugget of information that was omitted in the original two stories due to deficiencies in my writing style. In other words, I forgot.

Some people may be wondering what happened with Kuno having the ability to transform into Swarm at will.  The explanation is wrapped up in a moment of *ahem* 'intimacy', but the cliffnotes read as thus:

Warden Jokingly asks Kuno why she hasn't become Swarm and seduced him to feed upon the massive amounts of love there.

Kuno remarks that she feels it would be a violation of whatever trust they had gained for eachother, and then follows it up by quietly asking 'do you want me to?'

Warden ponders on this for a few moments, and then admits, that yes, deep down, he very, very much wants Kuno to do that.

Kuno bluntly offers to turn into Swarm for Warden, Warden thinks on it for a few moments, before declining completely.

Warden justifies his choice by saying that he doesn't dwell on the past, and that it would bring up bad memories and feelings that had long-since been hidden away.

Kuno responds that she could use her magic to literally make him believe that it was Swarm. He could have her back for an entire night.

Warden refuses again, citing the fact that he doesn't want their first time to be fundamentally transactional. Warden using Kuno to be back with Swarm for a night, and Kuno using Warden for his love energy.

I don't know the exact conversation that will follow once they're 'finished', but one of the responses from Kuno will be that she gave in and allowed him to be intimate with her in changeling form (which has never happened before), because he said 'first time', inferring that he wants to create a lasting relationship with her.

Welp, hope that clears up some stuff I completely forgot from the first story. I'm sure someone, somewhere, was wondering.
