So, I now have a place to put all the terrible one shot's I might write. That's pretty neat.

    So...uh...I guess that's it.

...I suppose this can be an open forum for asking questions or giving critiques. I like answering questions and criticism.

It appears that I will be participating in a little game going around the site. I'm only doing this once though. So here we go.

Da Rules (as given to me):

    1. You must post the rules.

    2. Each person must post 5 things about themselves in their blog

    3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.

    4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and post their icons on your blog.

    5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged them.

    6. No tag backs

    7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you're tagged if you're reading this". You legitimately have to tag 11 people.

    5 things about myself

    1. I am alive

    2. I tend to ramble

    3. I am currently at my computer

    4. After I meet someone, I instantly make a plan to kill them. Just in case.

    5. I have two hands that I'm rather attached to.

    The questions I was asked:

    1. Who is your Favorite Alicorn?

    Nightmare Moon.

    2. What made your favorite pony your favorite pony?

Applejack has the most common sense, ergo the smartest.

    3. Who is your Favorite Author and why?

Ummm...NickNack I think, for his writing of Heart of Gold Feathers of Steel.

    4. How would you propose to the pony you are in a relationship with?

I'm not in a relationship with any ponies. I think that's illegal in my state.

    5. Who that lives around you knows that your a brony?

I'm not hardcore enough to be considered a brony (buys the merchandise, etc.), so the question is not applicable.

    6. How would you convince Celestia and luna to let you stay in Equestria

I don't believe it's up to them as evidenced by Zecora. She was a different species and she didn't have to ask permission.

    7. What places in Equestria would you like to visit?

That place with all the ponies.

    8. What's your favorite MLP episode and Why?

Dragonshy. It was an Adventure episode, and I freaking love those.

    9. Everything has a signature scent, What do you think is the main 6's scent?

Well, let's think about this. Ponies in Equestria no doubt use deodorants and shampoos in their hygienic routines, so the only way they would smell like a type of fruit is probably if they used that type of oil in their bath, cream on their skin, or product in their manes. So if the question is what they would smell like before a bath, so that their natural scent would be prevalent, I believe their professions would be the best determination for their odor.

    ---

Twilight - A shut in scholar that only tends to go out with her friends, and spends all other hours of the day doing science or reading books. More often than not, she would probably smell like whatever chemicals she was working on, with the slight smell of ink. There may be an added musk of dust and books about her that would only be detectable indoors.

    ---

Applejack - From what we've seen of her, AJ works hard each and everyday, but always has enough time to go out with her friends in the afternoon. After a hard day of work, she no doubt smells awful and out of good hygiene practices takes a shower or bath before going out with her friends so as not to make them heave their stomachs at her passing. Therefore, we must assume that the best time determine her natural scent is in the morning, just before she goes to work. Living on a farm and the work that goes with it has no doubt made a lasting aroma on the mare. I will say that she smells like a pony that lives on a farm.

    ---

Rarity - A mare that obsesses with being clean and presentable at all times. She no doubt showers every morning and night and uses perfume. Couple with her frequent visits to the Spa, it stands to reason that the best time to determine her scent would be in the late afternoon, before she considers taking another shower/bath and when her perfume has probably lost its affect. I believe she would not have a scent that could be determined, unless you had the nose of a dog.

    ---

Pinkie Pie - She works in a bakery that specializes in confectionery treats, which means a lot of flour and a lot of sugar. That sweet taste will permeate the air and, in a word, stain her scent. Although she must wash before handling the food or its ingredients, it stands to reason that the air around her would constantly smell of an undefinable sweetness.

    ---

Rainbow Dash - She spends most of her time up in the clouds, either training or performing her job. Clouds, being mostly moisture, will no doubt act as a sort of constant shower for her. Couple that with the amount of sweat she may produce during any given exercise, she will probably smell most like rain or water.

    ---

Fluttershy - She spends her time around animals more than even Applejack, and cares for each one. Her home has a constant supply of feed for all these animals, which itself has a strong odor. Her home must smell like a pet shop, and taking into account her own bathing habits and spa visits, she probably shares that scent. You smell like what you sleep in after all.

    10. If you could change one thing about the series, what would you change and why

More Adventure episodes. I really dig those.

Now for the unfortunate 11 people that will be tagged by me at random (using a dice rolling program found here), chosen from who is following me:

    1 - MarineMarksman

    2 - Mr. Popo

    3 - Paiwithapple

    4 - Windchaser

    5 - Midnight Shadow

    6 - Sithis

    7 - Mephis

    8 - Dreagar

    9 - Sotha

    10 - iFiredone

    11 - Cloudhammer

And to those of you I have just tagged, I am required to offer up these questions:

1 - What is your name?

2 - What is your quest?

3 - What is your favorite colour?

4 - What is the capitol of Assyria?

5 - What is the air speed velocity of a Swallow?

6 - What is the appropriate plural form of Platypus?

7 - What is the purpose of philosophy?

8 - What is the plot of Beauty and the Beast and how does it connect with your writing?

    9 - What is a man?

10 - Who knows what darkness lies in the hearts of men?

Good luck with those. I have selected them to cause the most amount of misery.

So I've been dreadfully silent these past, and I think I owe any of you who remember I exist some kind of explanation as to why I've been so silent these past months.

    School.

Okay, now that that's out of the way, I can tell you all that I am home now, but possibly for not too long. There's a chance that I'll be moving in with a sibling in the not too distant future, so the urge to unpack my computer is somewhat low.

Does this mean I'll stop writing? No. But it will cause complications when trying to.

And yes, despite popular belief, I am still writing. Just really sloooooooooowwwwly. I think my current schedule is to write a minisode and then Opening Week.

Well that's April Fools day everyone. I hoped you got at least a small giggle out of one of these things. They are gone now, but not forgotten.

    Anyway, back to basics:

When will I update? Who knows!

What do I want? Comments and Criticisms!

Why do I want them? I need feedback in order to get better!

    Who's my favorite pony? Applejack!

Well there's that. No back to your regularly scheduled silence.

Everyone else is doing one, so I might as well tell my introduction to the Conversion Bureau. I don't get any medals for being the 4th or 5th person to join this sub genre, so this will be for fun.

Once upon a year ago, an odd little fic hit EqD that filled me to the brim with contempt. I'll save you the suspense and tell you that it was the original Conversion Bureau written by Blaze. It filled me with such hate, that I felt the need to counter it somehow. On Ponychan, I found a small thread that had been started by Pride (or Midnight. One of those two), and they were discussing and expanding on the Conversion Bureau Universe.

And so, in a blind spite fueled session of writing, I wrote the first part of Yellowstone. My intent was to create a TCB fic that I thought was fun.

Was it childish? Yes. Was it well written and thought out? No. Were the characters walking tropes? Oh yeah. Did I have any idea what I was doing? Nope. Did I have fun slapping the original concept in the face so we can all have an optimistic TCB story for once? Definitely.

For some reason, people liked it. Some actually wanted more. This led to the hasty conception of Yellowstone the Series, but I'm not going to get into that.

So that's my origin story on this here pony fandom, and you know, I kinda like it around here. Now a year later, there's more than just Midnight, Windchaser, Krass, and myself. There's, like, 17 of us. And that's pretty cool.

Anyway, I think this is a good place to stop rambling. To everyone who helped make this sub genre come out of the back alleys of the fandom into the main street, I say thank you. To everyone who reads my writings and finds enjoyment in them, I say thank you. To everyone who thinks Midnight being British is funny for some unknown reason, I say yeah me too. To everyone who says Applejack isn't their favorite pony, I say that's just, like, your opinion man. To everyone who thinks that I should stop, I say it stops here and goes no farther.

So...right. Have a good next year everyone.

That's right, the weekend of intense editing is over, but I'm sure I'll need to have myself another one before too long.

I was able to vastly improve the original Yellowstone, which is good. Because it was bad and made no sense.

YtS on the other hand is still a bit...eh. I didn't get to make all the changes I wanted to do to it before my brain began to melt down, so it will have some bugs in it.

    Things that have changed:

(Yellowstone) Dialogue mostly. Especially the stuff between Cottonmouth and Hawk

(Yellowstone) I made a quick explanation for why Hawk didn't take a bigger gun to confront Cottonmouth the first time.

    (Yellowstone) Lots of little things.

    Things that have Not changed:

    Much of YtS

    Applejack as my favorite pony

    My lack of talent

So there you have it. Now I must get back to YtS Ep 6. Or Opening Week.

Probably Opening week because it's shorter.

This weekend, as in Saturday 17th to Sunday the 18th, I will be editing the ever-loving shit out of Yellowstone and Yellowstone the series. Such will be the editing, that that I may have to re-upload a chapter or two to Fimfiction.

"But Anonsi," you might say, "why act on this sudden urge to do something constructive, as opposed to writing a new installment of YtS or Opening Week?"

"Because!" I would reply, "My work is long overdue for a kick to the pants, and dammit someone has to do it!"

There's also the fact that it is rife with tiny errors and there are a few parts that could be better written (insert graceful bow to Hidden Brony for his comments here).

Speaking of comments, here's the rest of the deal with this: Here, in this very blog post, you can tell me what you did not like about Yellowstone or Yellowstone the Series. So long as your criticism is helpful, it may very well  affect the editing process. This will essentially be an open critique made by anyone who cares (all 3 of you).

What I hope to fix in this editing thing so far is:

    Yellowstone:

Why didn't Hawk use a different weapon from his bag when first confronting Cottonmouth

Grammar and spelling errors (There are just so many!)

    YtS:

Adding in at least one character building scene earlier on so that a later scene will be better

Make sure every pony is in character

Fix grammar and spelling errors (Yes, it is worth mentioning twice)

So that's what I got so far. Feel free to give your two cents. Seriously. Give them. I NEED THEM.

It's a present from Krass to me! I might as well share it with all of you because it's what the ponies would want me to do.

    Yellowstone for nook: http://www.mediafire.com/?92kwi7fp6v5m7v7

    Yellowstone for kindle: http://www.mediafire.com/?b5ihdlokg9gxkcx

The illustrious Krass McWriter has saw fit to turn my first ever work in the realm of fan-fiction into e-book format, so all of you five people who read The Conversion Bureau: Yellowstone, and for some reason enjoyed it, can have it with for all time wherever you go.

And to answer any questions that may or may not spring to mind:

Yes, I am working on YtS Episode 6. It involves Fluttershy, Applejack, Megan, and Barnes for any who are curious.

Yes, I do get distracted easily, because I am also working one Opening Week Day 4, and can't seem to decide on which one to work on more. That and the whole at school thing. That eats up a lot of time.

No, I am nowhere close to updating, and I cannot apologize enough for these long waits in between updates. Feel free to berate men to your heart's content.

Yes, Applejack is still my favorite, as is her entire family.

Other than that, I will end this blog entry with one final statement: Go watch Conan the Barbarian. The one with Arnold. It's still good, and you know you want to.

With the update of Opening Week, I am now (more or less) back on schedule. So I will now work as much as I can between getting ready to go back to college and familial obligations to write as much as possible.

But anyway, for anyone just looking at my page because you followed the groovy pic or a link from one of my stories, here's how I do stuff:

    1) I will try to update on Mondays, and hopefully will regularly. If I don't, it is probably because I have nothing to update with or I am unable to for some reason.

    2) Feel free to ask me any questions. I'll be as honest as possible and answer what I can.

    3) If you find something wrong with one of my stories, or something that could be improved, tell me. Seriously, I can't get better if I'm not told I've done wrong.

    4) Applejack is my favorite pony. Remember this and we will be fast friends.
