I'm Not Dead. Rejoice. · 2:53am
I don't even know where to start... I feel like someone has been beating the side of my head with a damn brick at the moment. It has been a while, I know. Don't bitch. Not saying you are, but don't start. If you have been wondering what I have been up to... I don't exactly have a good answer. There are a few things that stand out like helping my grandfather move into a home and getting my POS car fixed. Both have some interesting stories but I doubt you care. As for DR, I don't exactly know what to do with it at the moment. I am effectively lost. As for the future, Wubsy, Almasy, and I are still planning that trip blog if you are interested in catching some of my hostile sarcasm but I doubt that is why you come here. Either way, Almasy and I are planning something along the lines of a co-op story. They way this beast works is that we have been doing kind of an role playing gig via Gchat for the past few months. Sparing you the details, I'll show you what it actually looks like:
----------------
Almasy: <facepalms>
Twilight shrugged.
"Just not during the actual ceremony, reception is fine." She offered
1:41 AM
me: "Yeah, yeah." I waved her off "I need to get another suit... it has been a long time. My last one was ruined after I was stabbed a few times five years ago."
"Oh... that sounds... painful." Dash said as she reached around my back with a hoof and patted it.
"Yeah, not fun. I wouldn't recommend it."
-------------
These <> mean we were talking about something totally irrelevant to the story and that is how we separated it. We would both write in the first person style but it would make sense because we were essentially talking to one another. We would do this shit for hours and hours on end, day after day. One of these things lasted 3 weeks and over 100,000 lines (posts combined). A lot of these will never see the light of day.
Now, to turn this monster in to a story, we edit it to this:
------
Twilight shrugged "Just not during the actual ceremony, reception is fine." She offered.
"Yeah, yeah." Ryan waved her off "I need to get another suit... it has been a long time. My last one was ruined after I was stabbed a few times five years ago."
"Oh... that sounds... painful." Dash said as she reached around Ryan's back with a hoof and patted it.
"Yeah, not fun. I wouldn't recommend it." he sarcastically commented.
---------
Of course there would be more description in the actual thing, but you get the deal. We had an alternate universe DR thing going for a while but it never went anywhere. You know Ryan was originally going to have an army called The Legion and it would kind of work like Ceasar's Legion from Fallout New Vegas? It would operate out of a town called New Detroit in the desert but I scratched the idea? I know, weird. anyway, I'm looking for comments on where I should go from here. Comments, questions, concerns, add them below. Don't hold back. Your feedback is the only reason I write.

PS; I promise better grammar/spell checking from here on out, you anal bastards.

And many more. Those are just a few. Names like Modestep, Alex S, Seven Lions, Adventure Club, Minnesota, Downlink, Datsik, xKore, Dodge & Fuski, Kaskade, Dubba Johnny, Noisestorm, Eptic, Xilent, Delta Heavy, Omnipony, Bare Noize, Noisia, Gemini, Skism, and Zomboy ring a bell? I'm also looking to start eventually producing with a friend of mine but that won't be till I get a better computer (whenever that is).
Also; welcome to my little page of insanity.
So I noticed:
I think we'll get along real good. Very good, in fact.
Also: "Smith & Wesson: The original point-and-click interface."

How do I PM you my fanfic?
I'm new to this whole PM thing.

I can take a look at it and give you a yay or nay but I can't really edit. Don't have the time/patience for it.
Do you mind if I have you as my pre-reader?
I'm writing an HiE fic (though it's a slow progress and I've only done the first chapter) and since I'm trying my best to avoid common (and most of the time, unbearable) cliches in HiE fics, I think you'd be the best choice as a pre-reader.

Ah, yeah, that makes sense. However, the people who DO write the Human-in-Equestria/Brony-in-Equestria/self-insert/allthatsortofstuff are the ones that blunder in without checking to make sure that they're not making stupid decisions, like they always end up doing...
But yeah. Rules when dealing with concepts like that can be broken if you're a competent writer. When you're not doing something interesting/original with the concept... that's where all the badfics come from, heh.

Some of these rules can be broken if done right. I designed this listen mostly for newbies in the HiE writing circles that I don't believe would have the skill to pull off a fitting death. Plus would you be happy with some human offing a character you have grown to love out of the blue?
Interesting list of rules there. Though I kinda disagree with one.
Don't really see why this is on the list, it seems basically saying 'don't kill canon characters' for anything. Dunno why it would be specific for HiEs.
Then again I have no intention of writing a HiE anyway because I can't think of a good reason to, but still.
