This day, exactly one year ago, I was posting the prologue and chapter 1 of Stairway to Equestria. I can't really believe it's been 1 year since then, means I'm a really slow writer. Fortunately, I can assure you all that this year the story will be finished !

Cosmic Afro, now my main editor, was writing this 1 year ago:

Very lovely chapter, and I love the name. "Midnight Blink"...it's got that ring to it like almost all pony names and it's kick butt.

Going through that specific chapter I've come to realize how easy you were on me, but most importantly, how much I've learned about writing fanfic since then. I still have a lot to learn but what I meant by what I said earlier is that the first chapters are of an inferior quality compared to the current ones. That however will change over the next weeks as I am currently in the process of re-editing the first 6-7 chapters. Nothing story-wise will be changed, but a lot of improvements will be brought to phrasing, dialogue and flow. And relax, I will still be working on updates.

As far as the story goes, as I said, I should be able to finish it in 2013. I finally decided what the end is going to be, after a internal debate of about three-four months (I'm not kidding, I was really stressed at some point about the direction Stairway to Equestria was heading). Although there are a lot more chapters until that point, I just want to assure you all this will never go on hiatus unless real life issues really take over.
