If magic and advanced technology existed in the same world, would one snuff out the other? The Equestria Government has become the mediator for this question, and it is using all its resources to prevent violence from breaking out over the topic.

Amber Seed (a.k.a Agent Feline) must stay beyond the argument to neutralize a hidden organization that seems to be using the tension to its own advantage.  She must use any resource available to ensure that what ever happens, the world doesn't end in inevitable destruction. No pressure.

With the Blueblood family under investigation, anypony capable of preforming a safety inspection is preoccupied. The next best qualified group just so happens to be the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony, according to Celestia. And so, the Mane 6 are sent off to fill in for the absent experts and evaluate the Dranorth Magical Science and Research Facilities.

But as with any story being worth told, and some that aren't, the trip turns into more than just an inquiry if everything is accident proof...
