DerpyDash + lightning = damage

Just how did Derpy destroy the Ponyville Town Hall? And why did she play around with a thundercloud afterwards? And why did she look so darn happy after being hit by lightning?

The Queen of Storms

Rainbow Dash was trying to outrun lightning. Not in the metaphorical sense, but in the very literal pulse-pounding - pull up NOW! - terrifying, exhilarating sense. The blue pegasus dodged a bolt so barely that it made the fur on the inside of her haunches stand up as it passed between them.

She heard laughter behind her, the soft thud of hooves impacting a cloud, and the roar of thunder as another bolt was launched. This time Rainbow turned to the left so sharply her flank was straight toward the ground while the bolt passed over her. She pulled her head toward her back and saw a glimpse of the hunter, gray fur almost invisible in the storm, yellow mane flying wet and wild, and golden eyes that impossibly seemed to cover every direction at once. And she also saw a hoof reaching forward towards the cloud before the other pegasus, and dived hard.

It was a long game of cat and mouse, Rainbow dodging madly here and there and Derpy sending bolts of electricity after her, but they both knew it could only end in one way. A jolt struck her wing and Dash span out of control towards the distant ground. She fell ten, twenty meters until a gray thunderhead in pony form caught her and rose them to the sky again.

Derpy kissed her, drawing out the lingering sparks of electricity and restoring feeling to Dash's wing. She kicked a passing cloud, taking a full brunt of the blast herself yet maintaining enough control that Dash only felt a sharp tingling sensation on her skin. But not on all of it, for while the gray pegasus was holding Dash with her forelegs around her torso, that was not where Dash wanted it most. Arching her back in pleasure, the gray mare grinned wickedly at her.

"Give it to me, Derpy!" Dash growled, and she obliged. Derpy flicked her tail up so it touched them both between theri hindlegs, kissed Dash and kicked yet another cloud. Electricity arced between them in a loop, from one pair of lips to another, to the tail, the other pegasus and up her frame, from mouth to mouth and down again. Dash knew she should be in agony, yet the usually clumsy blond was controlling the deadly force with an effortless grace none would believe if they didn't see it, almost massaging her with lightning. Her mane was like a halo, standing straight out and radiating with corona discharge, and her eyes were blazing like Celestia's orb. Derpy looked Dash straight in the eyes and came, her control never wavering, and after the storm came the rainbow.

Their bodies stayed on air on pure instinct, but as soon as their senses returned, they set down on a large cloud to rest. The two pegasi snuggled together for a while, the delivery mares body just as toned from hours of hard work as the athletes. As she rested Derpy lazily gave the cloud a few kicks for fun. She rarely got a chance to shape weather around Ponyville, for the same love of lightning - "fetish" had one of the library books had called it - that had driven her to master it could prove to be too much of a temptation. Not that the other ponies besides Rainbow Dash knew about it, but still. It was wiser to haul heavy stuff around all day than risk flattening the town.Best limit her fun to the Everfree Forest. No one would come there to interrupt Derpy's private sessions, well no one sane anyway - which excluded one Rainbow Dash.

Speaking of Everfree Forest, should there really be that much screaming there? It seemed like her every kick-started thunderbolt was followed by one. The same though must had occurred to Rainbow too, for she lifted her head and looked at Derby in growing horror. They rose and walked to the edge of the cloud, looked down, and saw the ruins of Ponyville Town Hall.

For a while the two just stared at the building that had taken the heat of their passion, then Derpy rose her hoof to the corner of her mouth and, embarrassed and with a voice still hoarse from ozone, said:

"I forgot to anchor the clouds, didn't I?"

Rainbow only stared at the destruction, stunned, so Derpy jumped from the edge and landed on the ground right before the mayor, who was examining the still-smoking wreckage. For a while the two talked, and it didn't look like the mayor was happy with her.

Sometimes it sucked to be the Element of Loyalty. Rainbow glided down and set beside Derpy.

"Mayor, it was kinda my fault too. We were practicing and forgot to anchor the clouds."

She was not amused. "Rainbow Dash? I know you like to play with lightning, but I never thought you'd do something like this!" She gestured at the ruins. "The town does not have the funds to repair this! So you two will do it! And hang up that Applejack banner while you're at it!"

"But-" started Dash, but the Mayor was already marching off. "But I don't know anything about construction!"

"That's okay.", said the noticeable cheerier Derpy. "Neither do I!"

The bubbly mare grabbed the nearest piece of torn-off wood and began hauling it to the Hall. Resigned to her fate, Dash followed, and they set to work. Or Dash did, anyway. She could see Derpy was even more distracted than usual. Normally, they'd gone for round two after some rest, but that couldn't be helped now. They'd just have to deal with it like mature - why was Derpy jumping on that remaining stormcloud?!?

For a few seconds Dash just stared at the display of inmodesty, then came to a realization: since Derpy's electric inclinations weren't widely known around the town, any onlooking ponies would see nothing except her being ditzy again. They wouldn't realize that the little exhibitionist was basically masturbating in public. And before the still equally-horny Dash. With a growl she hung up the Applejack banner, only to barely duck a bolt of lightning Derpy had sent her way. It struck the floor behind her, adding a new hole to the already dangerously unstable structure.

"Wha? Now careful, Derpy!" Rainbow flew up to confront the little tease. "You don't wanna do any more damage than you have already done." As if to emphasize the point, the top of the building chose that moment to break away.

"I just don't know what went wrong." said Derpy, the very picture of innocence as she kept on jumping on the cloud and building up a charge, her eyes closed in anticipation as minor sparks caressed her hooves, until finally the discharge flowed through her, singing her fur and leaving her with rolling eyes and a stupid grin on her face.

"Yeah. It's a mystery." Dash put as much disgust in her voice as she could as she turned away to finish hanging the Applejack poster. The nerve of that mare!

"Nice work, Rainbow Dash!" congratulated Derpy as she floated backwards past her lover. Now that the weather was clear again those wings that were so graceful in a storm were likeflaccid sails, and like a derelict frigate Derpy crashed into a pillar. The already-cracked piece of wood broke off and fell. Trying to head of any further damage Rainbow dashed after it, only to learn too late that carrying heavy objects while in flight was a skill of its own. Luckily the floor had been damaged enough that she managed to avoid being crushed between it and the pillar, but going through it still hurt.

Then Derpy stuck her head in the hole, a worried look on her face. "You okay Rainbow Dash?" The worry turned to relief as she saw she was. "Anything I can do to help?"

Rainbow had had enough. Derpy would be useless for the next half-hour at least, and she wanted to get things done so she could take the gray mare somewhere private and have her "help" her.

Dash dashed up. "No! Nothing! In the name of Celestia, just sit there and do nothing!"

Derpy slumped down dejectedly, her tight butt hitting the floor like a battering ram. Before Dash had a change to regret her tone the wood cracked and Derpy fell, instinctively grapping Rainbow and taking her with her.

When the world stopped spinning, Dash realized that she had somehow ended up lying atop Derpy, their snouts inches from one another. Outside the crowd was cheering for Applejack, who promised to contribute her coming winnings in the Canterlot rodeo to fixing the Town Hall. So they were off the hook, then. How typical. Life with Derpy was a hurricane, a disaster followed by a ridiculously contrived death trap followed by a miraculous escape and saving the day. It was like living a Daring Doo novel.

Derpy squirmed under her scrutiny. "Oops, my bad?"

Rainbow kissed her. She was Rainbow Dash and she wouldn't have it any other way.
