Regular POV

10 figures in black robes crowded around the girl, who had been bound and gagged. Her semi-unconscious form was placed about a concrete bed. Flowers of all shapes and colors were placed there as well as varying spices.

The room was octagonal. Plain wax candles were placed to shape of a pentagram around the stone bed, barely showing the blood red walls. Black curtains hung in each corner of the room.

“Cape hoc puella cum potestatem super tempora et carmen

Ut collocet ubi illi sunt pertinent”

The chanting grew louder and louder with each second. The girl began to stir but all she could see was the blindfold placed over her eyes. Her fear began to grow.

“Luminaribus eam in regnum

Erunt enim postulo eam mox.”

On the other side of the room, a midnight blue portal appeared. The girl could hear it as it slowly moved towards her.

Her powers weren’t working. She couldn’t feel anything around her that she could use against these attackers. Almost like that was what they wanted. The candles were too far away and the cloth over her eyes was man-made.

No Nature.

She knew she always kept a spare leaf hidden deep in her pockets for such events, but it was either missing or dead. The portal she was mostly about to be thrown into would no doubt kill her unless she did something fast.

‘Help...me’ the girl thought. Hoping maybe a plant hidden outside the stone walls would hear and come to her aid. After a second of more chanting, she began to pray for something to save her.

Her prays were answered. When the portal was only a foot from her body, vines shot through the solid stone and wrapped themselves around her wrists and ankles.

The robed men continued chanting. This had to be done or all would be lost. All of their work for nothing and four little vines wouldn’t save her at this point.

The girl used her powers on the vines to wrap them around her body. Creating a cocoon. She would not die tonight. She had too much to live for. She would not end up some sacrifice for whatever crackpots were doing.

‘No self-respecting witch does this to a Sister Witch. Why are they doing this to me?’ She asked herself.

Her eyes were still covered by the black cloth, so one of the vines quickly took it off, letting the girl get one good look at her attackers. All she saw was the black of their robes.

Just before the girl disappeared forever, the cocoon covered her completely, protecting her for her journey through the portal.

The chanting stopped as the green shell disappeared into the portal. One could hear the flames dancing on the candles. The ten figures, after another 5 minutes of staring, removed their hoods.

Half of them were males with black and brown hair. The other half was females, all of them blond except for the one standing near where the girl’s head was.

Her skin was white. It was the only color to describe it. She had eyes greener and darker than a forest. One would become lost in them and her darker than night hair stood out against the skin, almost making it glow. Her eyes were stained lightly with tears.

She had just sent her daughter into the portal, with only a little regret.“High Priestess,” Asked the middle blonde teenager. “did we do the right thing?” She had been close with the girl, they were almost sisters.

“Yes. Sabrina knows this place well. I am sure she shall be safe. There was no other way Felicia.” The girl known as Felicia looked down, already missing her best friend.

“It is too late anyhow Priestess, she can only come back on her own will.” Said the fourth man.

With a few goodbyes, the ten figures left the basement. Knowing they had betrayed Sabrina’s trust.

All for the greater good.

Dusk Shine’s POV

I had just finished writing my letter to Prince Solaris. We had another Berry Bubble Bash last night, for the Hearth’s Warming Eve, and I explained to Solaris our thanks for the parts in the play we were given.

“Spines!” I yelled. “I need to send a letter to the Prince.” Spines, my dragon assistant, was the kindest dragon I’ve ever met. She enjoyed Ponyville and I did too. She was also my only way of immediately sending letters to the Prince.

“Coming Dusk!” I heard small crunching and guessed she was finishing some gems for dinner. I laughed slightly as I heard her scampering up the stairs. “What’cha need?” Spines asked.

She was about three feet tall. Her light purples scales covered most of her body as well as a few bright green scales. Her ears, as I have been told they are, drooped down her head while grass green eyes stared at me. Spines’ shining white teeth smiling at me.

Spines had an almost foal-like voice. It was almost hard to believe she was a 10 year old female dragon.

“Here it is.” I grabbed the letter with my magic and handed it to her.

She breathed in, preparing to blow green flames when we heard a crash on the roof.

“You heard that right?” Spines asked, she sounded scared.

“Yeah, should we go check it out?” I asked. My fear grew as the many possibilities as to what could happen tonight came to me. Spines looked towards the library and her eyes got wide.

“I don’t think we need to leave the library to do that.” Spines squeaked out.

“Why not?” I asked her.

“Because it’s about to crash THROUGH THE ROOF!” She screamed.

The front door suddenly swung open.

“TWITCHYA TWITCHYA!” Came my friend Berry Bubble. His Berry Sense really got on my nerve sometimes.

“Berry what are you doing here?” I yelled.

“My tail starting twitching and that means something’s gonna, DUSK LOOK OUT!” Berry jumped out at me just as something crash out the floor. “SEE! It fell from your roof which means I saved your life! What is that thing?” Berry asked.

I pushed him off and walked over to the object that would’ve killed me.

Looking over the object, it was almost six feet long, two feet wide. It was as green as the Everfree Forest. Using my magic I tried to find any signs of life.

Save her. Somebody save her. The voice was soft, almost feminine, and scared. I tried to open it but when I did something pushed me away. “She’s hurt, save her, somebody save her.”

“Berry, go get the others. We’re gonna need their help. SPINES COME OUT!” As soon as Berry shut the door Spines walked into my line of sight.

“What is it?” She asked.

“I don’t know. It says somepony is hurt and I couldn’t open it.” Looking over this, weird thing lying in my house I gave Spines another command. “I need to re-write my letter to Prince Solaris.”

It had been a week since the strange pod landed on the library. Since then, it had been unopened. Moved to the hospital for when it did and whatever was inside needed medical attention. Dusk came every day to see it, documenting any things he found or suspected about it.

On the ninth day however, he ran out of ink. His friends, Rainbow Blitz, Elusive, Berry Bubble, Butterscotch and Applejack had decided to see this mystery pod.

It wasn’t until just a little after they arrived that the pod did anything...

Sabrina

My head was pounding. A wall of green blocked my line of sight but I don’t remember doing that. I tried to move my hand up to my eyes, to try and see if anything was over my eyes, but some leaf stopped them.

Bits and pieces came back to me. Black figures, chants, something that sounded like a rushing river.

‘Good morning Sleeping Beauty!’ I heard. I thought something was about to attack until I remembered a little more. A lone plant had come up to me. I made a cocoon to keep me alive. But then there’s darkness.

“How long was I out?” I asked the cocoon. My voice sounded a little scratchy.

‘Nine Days. All of which I spent saving your witch ass from bleeding through me.’ Dang, why did she have to have an attitude?

“Could you maybe get me out?” I asked, my voice slowly coming back to normal.

‘I could. But you’ll wish I didn’t.’ Now she wanted to play hardball.

“What, I’m not missing half a leg am I?” I joked.

‘I warned you Sabrina. You’re gonna regret this.’ Slowly she retreated around my eyes.

A blinding white light was it at first. The walls of the cocoon retracted, giving me the room to lift my arms out and use them to pull me out.

“You’re right Cocoon, the color in this room is already making me blind. My eyes!” I joked. The room was white as a cloud. The only color was the cocoon and me. I gave myself a quick look.

I was wearing my favorite midnight blue tank top with white rhinestones on it, making it look like a starry night, with the light blue wrap to put over my shoulders. It reminded me of Princess Luna after the Mane 6 used the Elements of Harmony on her. It was my favorite t-shirt. My good jeggings (jeans mixed with leggings) had a small tear by the ankle but other than that nothing seemed wrong with my outfit.

‘Here they come. You have been warned.’ Oh, now she was gonna be all vague.

The white door opened and I felt defeated. I hated when the plants were smarter than me.

Stallions. Five Stallions. All of them resembling the Mane Six minus Twilight’s double. Okay, not the time to panic. I can start panicking when Twilight’s double decides to run tests on me.

Pinkie Pie’s double bounced up to me.

“Hey my name’s Berry Bubble but all my friends call me Berry, me and my friends were watching you to see what was inside the green thing but for a REALLY long time nothing happened and Blitz starting groaning about it but the we saw you come out and I was like *GASP* so we ran in here to see you!” Man, he could talk. “What’s your name?”

Time for a little fun.

“Ok Bubble. How about we play a game?” I asked him. His bright blue eyes dilated.

“A GAME!” He nearly shouted in my face.

“Yeah. I guessing game. If I can correctly guess one fact about each one of you then I’ll tell you my name.”

“What if you lose?” Asked Rainbow Dash’s double. I laughed.

“Then I’ll chew my hand off and shave my head.” RD’s double stared at me, a little alarmingly. “What do you say Bubble?”

“Hmm... OK!”

“BERRY!” The others yelled.

Fully prepared to scare the hell outta them, I began walking up to each stallion. Bubble first.

“You, are gonna throw me a welcoming party with everyone in town present.” Bubble nodded enthusiastically. I walked up a familiar cyan pegasus. “You don’t like me. Somewhere in your name is the word Rainbow. Finally you have an ego the size of the moon.” The double gave me the evil eye while some of is friends laughed at my rightness. They didn’t know they were next.

Rarity’s stallion double was next.

“Why, somepony of your sophistication must be a VERY high profile designer. You design suits don’t you?” The double looked like he appreciated the kind words and even better when I guessed correctly. TIme for Applejack’s double.

“You’re a family guy. You’re name has apple in it based on the tattoo on your behind. You are also in a grudge match with Rainbow over there.” Male Applejack laughed. Rainbow just mumbled angrily.

Fluttershy’s double was next but my guess was he didn’t want a lot of attention.

“The last member of your group is very shy. He loves animals and would go as far as putting themselves at risk to help a fallen creature.” Tuning back to the pink earth stallion. “How many did I get right Bubble?” The stallions had been left speechless, minus Bubble, at how close I got them right.

“ALL OF THEM!” Bubble shouted joyfully. I laughed as he bounced around each of them and began introducing the rest of the stallions.

“This is Rainbow Blitz. This is Elusive. This is Applejack and this is Butterscotch.”

“My name is Sabrina, nice to meet you all.” I greeted.

“And all that’s left is Dusk but he went get some more ink. He should be back really soon!” Bubble said.

No sooner had he said that, I detected another presence coming. It had a friend too.

Preparing myself for an on slot of questions. If I knew Twilight Sparkle, a little thing like her gender wouldn’t change her nerd-like attitude. It would be fun for Bubble to explain how I guessed about his friends. Blowing a book nerd’s mind was always a fun time, or at least it was...

Until my eyes locked with his purple ones.

Dusk

With a full glass of ink and Spines sitting happily on my back, I walked into the observation room of the hospital. The others were gone but I noticed the familiar pink tail of Butterscotch inside the room where we kept the pod.

“What are they doing in there?” Spines asked as she hopped off my back.

“Let’s go see.” We began walking over, Butterscotch saw us and moved so we could get in.

I saw the pod, broken and empty, and Berry bouncing around somepony.

She was beautiful.

She looked tall, 5’8”; her brown mane curled down to shoulders and was tied back by a light purple tie. Her coat was pale with a few freckles on her almost heart shaped head. She had two different colored eyes. One of them was near ocean blue with flecks the same shade of green as the Everfree Forest while the other eye was as blue as the sky with flecks of deep red.

Again, she was beautiful.

“Dusk!” Berry said, “This is Sabrina. She came out of the pod and she’s really fun! We played a guessing game and she won!” The stunning creature known now as Sabrina began looking down at her feet.

“She was too good Dusk. She’s got to be a spy!” Rainbow Blitz yelled while pointing a hoof at Sabrina.

“You just proved me right Blitz! I knew you didn’t like me.” Her voice was beautiful and almost alicorn like.

But she been here probably a couple minutes and already she knows Blitz is easily suspicious? She must be good. The two started having a small argument over this.

“Anything to say Dusk? You look like you got really surprised!” Berry said.

I turned to Applejack.

“AJ, how long as she been here?”

“I’d say bout a minute er so. She’s good Dusk. She knew I worked with ma family and I had Apple in my name. She knew Butterscotch was really shy and didn’t look him in the eye.” Applejack explained,

“She even knew I was a designer. A very successful designer I might add.” Elusive pointed out while giving his dark purple mane a toss.

“A DRAGON!” Sabrina suddenly screamed while running up to Spines. “Awesome, I always wanted to see a dragon. And I’m not alone in the fingers department.”

I didn’t notice. She had five fingers on her hooves. Spines was also surprised to see another creature that wasn’t a dragon have fingers.

“My name is Sabrina, what’s yours?”

“You have fingers too!” Was all Spines managed to get out.

“We’ve been over that. I asked you a question too.” Sabrina explained.

“Spines, my name is Spines.”

“That name suits you.” She said before turning to Berry. “Can I guess something about them Berry? Double or nothing bet.”

“Deal,”

“Whoa hold up,” Blitz said, “last time you said if you lost you would shave your head and chew off one of your hands. What is the double for the head shaving?” She bet what?

“You are quite the business colt aren’t you?” Sabrina joked. “If I guess wrong I’ll chew off both my hands, shave my head, and poke an eye out.” She was that confidant she would be right, she must’ve scared these guys pretty hard if she was that reckless with the detachment of body parts.

“Now that is a fun deal.” Blitz stuck a hoof that Sabrina quickly shook.

Sabrina leaned down and whispered something unintelligible to Spines.

“She’s right.” Spines said, laughing a little awkwardly. Sabrina slowly lifted her head up to me.

“Hey, um, Dusk. You love to read. You are a hard worker and you are a very organized pony. Was I right?” Sabrina asked. An awkward smile showed on her face.

“Yeah. It was spot on.” Her smile turned smug and she turned to Blitz.

“And that is how you play Blitz! Oh, and I’m not a spy I’m just amazing at guessing games. Anyone a mile away can guess you have Rainbow in your name so don’t go getting saddle in a twist because I said it." Sabrina told Blitz. He just looked angrier than he did before.

I felt a strange magical essence in the room, Sabrina groaned.

“Shut up Cocoon. The punk disserved it for saying I was a spy!” She yelled at the pod.

We all gave her strange looks.

“Hey haystack, what’cha doin’ yelin’ at them there plant?” Applejack asked Sabrina.

“I can talk to plants, the only downside is they talk back. This one just so happens to have an attitude.” Sabrina explained.

“You talk to plants?” The student inside me was beginning to take over the half that was beginning to like Sabrina.

“Talk, move, grow. If a plant can do it then I can help. Why, do you think that’s cool Dusk?” She asked.

“Of course. There hasn’t been a documented plant controller in Equestria!” Her cheeks reddened.

“Thanks,” Her feet shuffled the white floor. “So, what’s there to do for fun around here?”

Sabrina

Ok. After finding out that my ex-coven sent me to a gender-swapped version of one of my ‘favorite little kid shows that I watch at 16’, I was beyond pissed. Also because my mother was the person leading it all and did nothing to stop it. I didn’t see her behind all the black robes but I just know she was there.

I was moved to a regular hospital room to make sure I was still alright. I had already been here a whole day. Nine extra from when I was in the cocoon. I didn't need any more healing time!

I made sure to tell Dusk to send the cocoon into a nearby forest or garden. She needed to be given back to the earth she was taken from or else she would be a thorn in my side until I put her back. Dusk, I really like the color of his mane.

Damn it why do all of my thoughts come back to Dusk! He was cute, but I don’t think it would ever work. He was a horse first of all. A cartoon horse at that. At the very most I could crush from afar.

I was getting bored. Sitting in a white room with white walls and a stupid heart monitor that beeped every five seconds didn’t help. The only color was my all blue outfit and a purple flower that I asked Bubble to bring in. I know his name was Berry, but Bubble seemed more him. Just Like Pinkie was more fitting than Pinkamena.

Might as well hum a few tunes.

"Here’s to the Monday’s,

Watchin’ all the cars on the freeway.

I ain’t got a thing to do

So I’ll sit here next to you. Yeah," I could hear the music float around my head, part of the magic. Once I got
the song going the rest played around my head like a set of headphones.

My fifth power, or second, I can’t really be sure. My old friend Felicia thought I would be cool to nickname it ‘The Siren’s Melody’ I could send messages to people through song no matter where they were. If I sang a few bars from a song then it would play around me. No money wasted on headphones.

The only downside is that I have to send the message in song form. I can’t change any of the words or it won’t work. But, it did come in handy when Mom was talking at some Coven meeting for an hour and I was only in attendance because I was next in line to be High Priestess.

Stepping out of the cramped hospital bed, I walked towards the window. To get a good look a the town I'm stuck in for the rest of my life.

Then I heard someone coming. Didn’t have time to get back into the bed so I just stood and awaited my fate. Also remembering to turn off the magical headphones.

Dusk and Blitz-y. What? I need some name to call him to get on his nerves.

“Sabrina? What are you doing out of the bed?” Dusk asked. I really liked hearing his voice, all full of worry about little ole me.

‘Sabrina, stop thinking about him like that!’ Curse my mother’s ability to distract me from boys even in an alternate universe.

“Got bored, thought I stretch the legs that haven’t been used in over a week.” I remembered what I asked them to do with the cocoon. “Did you make sure the cocoon made it back to the forest?”

“Yes. But when we put it down it just broke and all the pieces went off.” Dusk said.

“Oh yeah, it does that. If it makes you feel any better it gets less creepy the more times it happens.” I explained to him. Dusk’s purple hoof began scratching the back of is head. Really did that midnight blue hair, with a hot pink streak going through it.

Blitz was giving me some strange stare. So I gave him one right back.

“Blitz, how ya been buddy? Didn’t expect to see you here for, whenever you decided to send my to jail for being a spy.” I joked with him. Dusk interrupted our ‘pleasant’ conversation.

“So, the doctors say you’re well enough to be released. Until you have some place to stay, Butterscotch has offered to let you stay in his place.” I was really hoping he would say his house.

I couldn’t even stop myself from asking.

“What about your place?” Both of their faces turned into confusion.

“What do you mean Sabrina?” Blitz asked. Dusk was to shocked to ask it.

“Oh, I mean. Well, just as an apology for breaking your roof you know. I’m really good with plants so I could fix that hole in half the time it would take a whole repair crew to fix it. Maybe even less.” I quickly answered. That was embarrassing.

Dusk, still shocked stiff, didn’t say anything. Not knowing what else to do I moved my hand in front of his face and snapped.

He shook his head.

“Wha-? You wanna stay at my house?” He asked. I laughed, at least I wasn’t the only one feeling awkward about this.

“Yeah, plus it would be a lot better than staying at a place that’s probably got more animals then he forest inside it." I joked. They both made small laughs, Blitz quickly turned back into suspicious mode.

A mare with a gray-brown coat and short brown mane walked in (or is it trotted in?) with a doctor vibe to her.

“Hello Ms. Sabrina. You must be feeling better.” She said happily. Thank God someone got us out of this awkward situation.

“Sure am Doc, there guys say I’m being let out today?” I asked.

“Yep, just need you to fill out some paperwork,” God kill me now, “And we can send you on your way.” The doctor began to walk out, I had the feeling I should be following her so I did. But not before waving good-bye to Dusk.

Dusk

She gonna stay at my house. Sabrina is gonna stay at my house. Why Solaris why? I couldn't get her out of my thoughts and the last thing I needed was her sleeping under my roof!

Thank goodness I made sure to send a letter last night, telling him about Sabrina. What I wasn't entirely expecting was a letter showing up a few seconds later saying that he would like to meet her. In Canterlot. Soon.

Don’t panic Dusk. Don’t panic. I’m sure he’s just going to ask her about how she ended up here. It would be nice to know what would send such a pretty mare into some other universe.

I called her pretty again didn’t I? Why do I keep thinking about her like?

Somepony calling my name got my attention, pulling me out of my panic.

Sabrina.

“Earth to Dusk, earth to Dusk. You in there buddy?” She asked. Earth? She gave a look with those two different colored eyes that almost looked like worry.

“Oh, hey Sabrina. Sorry, kind of got too deep in thought.” I answered, slightly embarrassed.

“I was thinking that. If you’d of been in ‘deep thought’ any longer I’d have to get Nurse Red Cross to come get you.” How did she know Nurse Red Cross?

“Ok ‘Ms. Goldenheart," Sabrina cringed at hearing that name, she didn't like her own name? "you’re all ready to go.” Oh, that’s how she knew Red Cross. Sabrina handed him a clipboard and began walking towards the exit.

I remembered it was just after Hearth’s Warming and would be freezing cold outside.

“Sabrina, aren’t you going to be cold?” She looked back at me with confused eyes, but they swiftly changed to joy.

“I forgot you didn’t know.” Know what? “I don’t get cold as easily as others I my kind do. It would take something less than 20 degrees to get my teeth to even start to chatter.” She wouldn’t be cold outside, this was something I needed to write down. “See at the Welcoming Party Blitz.” Sabrina cheered as Rainbow Blitz flew up behind us.

“Yeah you too. See ya later Dusk.” Blitz said before flying out the door, letting a quick cold breeze in.

“This weather is perfect.” Sabrina said. She ran out the door as fast as she could. I made sure I was wearing my scarf and boots on before I joined her.

It was a beautiful sight.

Sabrina’s arms were swirling about as fresh snow fell to the floor. Her brown mane blew in the cold winter air. She seemed almost in a state of pure joy.

“This is awesome! I love when fresh snow falls on the ground!” She cheered in her angelic voice.

Thought about her like that again. What is happening to me?

“Dusk!” I heard before snow hit me in the face. “Watch out!” Sabrina laughed. I wiped the snow off my face. Did she just throw a snow ball at me?

“Wow Dusk, you have bad reflexes.” I heard Berry say as he bounced past me,

“Hey Bubble.” Sabrina greeted.

“Hey Sabrina!” Berry greeted. He bounced right up to her and around her. “I heard you were coming out of the hospital today and that means we can start to throw your ‘Welcome to Ponyville Party!’ Were you having a snowball fight with Dusk?” Berry asked. Sabrina got a mischievous look on her face.

“You could say that.” I didn’t like that look.

“Twitcha Twitcha!” Berry shouted. Anypony left on the street ducked, for some reason I didn’t. I noticed Sabrina’s finger, as she called them, twirling around on her hand. Berry’s light blue eyes began to shrink.

“Uh, Dusk.” Berry said. I began to notice it getting darker above me.

“SNOWBALL FIGHT!” Sabrina yelled as I was attacked with multiple snowballs from above.

Next thing I remember was other ponies coming out and throwing the snowballs around. I made another discover about Sabrina.

The snow appeared in her hand, already in ball form. She hit all her targets and one aiming at her caught some breeze and avoided her.

She could move plants and snow

Sabrina

I continued throwing snowballs with the ponies for a while. I saw three that looked like boy version of the CMC and some background ponies but that didn't really stand a chance against someone who can make it snow in Texas in July. Bubble and I were throwing snowballs at ponies left and right. It was much easier for me seeing how I would be able to duck whenever a snowball head my way or I would redirect it back at them.

After a long snowball fight it was down to Bubble and me and ponies gathered up on the sidelines.

We were having a staring match, holding a snowball and preparing to throw.

“So it all comes down to this Bubble.” I said, using every fiber of my being to keep from smiling. He looked like he had the same problem.

“Yep, all that’s left to do if throw this snowball at your face.” Bubble said, almost laughing twice.

“Alright-y then. Let’s do this.” Both snowballs were thrown in the air.

Using my magic I made the two come together and head straight back to Bubble. He was thrown back as the ball hit his face, the started laughing,

“That was awesome!” Bubble yelled. Soon all the other ponies came out to see who won.

Gasps came when they found out it wasn’t Bubble. I didn’t take it heart, I was too busy feeling the rush of saying I beat Pinkie Pie, err her male counterpart (This is getting a little confusing) in a snowball match.

“Somepony beat Berry Bubble at a snowball fight? How in tarnation did that happen?” A little southern voice asked.

“Easy, any fight I start I win.” I answered, turning to see the CMC.

Apple Bloom looked about the same, except instead of a giant pink-red bow sat a pink-red baseball hat placed backwards on a mane of bright red. The butter yellow coat on a colt that didn’t get past my knees was cute in a little kid way.

Sweetie Belle seemed the same too. His curls were a little straighter and less girly. Same pink and purple hair, same green eyes, just less filly.

Scootaloo looked almost the same, just like his two friends, but more of a colt. Hair was cut just the same and the eyes were only missing girly lashes.

“Nice to meet ya’ll, my name’s Sabrina.” I held out a hand, Sweetie Belle took it first.

“My name’s Silver Belle, this is my friend Apple Buck and Scooteroll.” I shook the other hooves, smiling. Bubble came up right next to us.

“Hey CMC’s, have you met Sabrina? She’s new but not new new she’s actually been here nine days and that means I’m nine days late on her party and I can’t let that stand so I have to go get planning. That snowball fight was really fun bye!” Bubble vanished.

“Okay,” I said towards the area Bubble once stood. I looked back to the Crusaders with only a slightly confused face.

“Don’t worry. That’s just Berry being Berry.” Apple Buck said.

“How did you beat the King of Snowball Fights?” Scooteroll asked me, still shocked apparently.

“Like I said, I never start a snowball fight I can’t win. That and where I’m from I’m known as the Queen of Snowball fights. Bubble didn’t stand a chance.” Looking around, I noticed, or lack of noticing, a lavender stallion unicorn. “Have any of you seen Dusk around?

Silver Belle nodded.

“Dusk, oh yeah. At the beginning of the fight he headed back to the library. Why?” The little colt asked.

“I’m staying with until I find a place for myself. That and I’m fixing his roof.” I told them. “I kinda crash into when I came here."

“Oh, well we can show ya the way ifn ya need it?” Apple Buck asked. Trying to find any plants, I found quite a few.

“I think I got it. See you later Crusaders.” I cheered as I ran off towards where the plants were telling me the library was.

Dusk

I stormed into the library at almost full gallop, nearly knocking over Spines.

“WOW! Easy Dusk, where’s the fire?” Spines asked me.

“SorrySpinesit’sjustthatSabrinadecidedtostayherewhichmeansthatshe’sstayinghereandthatmeansweneedtocleanupeverythinggotitgood.” I spoke at Berry Bubble speeds. Running upstairs I quickly began cleaning a place for Sabrina.

“Sabrina is staying here?” Spines asked, finally understanding my sentence.

“Uhuh.” I replied.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

”Dusk, you in there? How did she get here so quickly? “I followed the plants and they told you me you ran in here panicked.” I heard a groan. "Fine, Spines open this door!" Sabrina yelled.

“Hey Sabrina, Dusk just told me you were staying here. Is it true?” Spines asked her. Solaris help me.

Looking towards the door I saw Sabrina walk in, bringing a little snow in with her.

Snow

“Yeah it is. I thought it would be the least I could do after I heard about the roof-WOAH!” Sabrina yelled finally seeing the whole.

The hole was kinda big, I had placed a tarp over it to keep things fro falling in and the repair stallions were coming tomorrow to fix it. We did what we could.

“No wonder this tree was in such pain. I had no idea I did that.” Sabrina said as she ran up to the wall of the library.

“Now let’s see what I can do.”

“What are you-?” I began to ask but stopped after seeing Sabrina use her powers.

Her eyes glowed light green. Her mane almost grew twice in length and straightened. The area she was touching began to glow the same color as her eyes and swirled up towards the hole. As it drew closer it started slowing down, like something was stopping it.

“Come on, just let me help.” Sabrina pleaded.

Then, in a bright flash, the hole was gone and Sabrina was back to her old self. Her glowing eyes faded away first.

“Dusk, your tree is about as stubborn as Blitz.” She laughed. “She also says to stop staying up so late, trees needed more sleep than you think.

Spines and I just stared at her. “Didn’t your mother tell you it was impolite to stare young man! I mean clot!”

“What, huh, how, how did, Sabrina, how did you do that?” Spines muttered.

“I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember Spines. It shouldn’t be too shocking I mean you live with Dusk Shine.”

“What does that mean?” I asked angrily. Sabrina realized her wording, but didn’t seem sorry about it. She looked like she had done something stupid.

“Uh, read about you in a book. At the hospital, yeah, that and ah the tree told me...”

“You believe what a tree tells you?” I asked, again angry.

“Of course I do. Especially if that tree might one day save my ass. It needs to know I trust it with my life. If my life is in her or his branches then, after proving my trust, it will protect me. Isn’t that right big Treespines?” Sabrina asked, brushing the walls of the library.

“You named it?” Spines asked. “Why would anypony name a tree?”

“Why would anypony live in a tree?” Sabrina asked. She had a point. “I didn’t name her. She says that was the name she was given once she got big enough. Right?” Sabrina looked up towards the roof, as though looking for a sign she got the story correct.

“So first you have plant powers, powers over snow and now you can jus-“

“How did you know about my winter powers?” Sabrina asked shocked.

I was for some reason angry with her. Why was I so angry at such a beautiful creature?

“I saw you during the snowball fight! You weren’t exactly being subtle about it!” I shouted.

“No reason to shout Dusk. So I withheld a little information about what I can do, that doesn’t mean you can go yelling at people. Especially people who were pushed out of her home by her mother for reasons she doesn’t know!” She shouted, but looked like she immediately regretted it.

“Your own mother did that to you? I’m so sorry Sabrina.” Spines said. Before I could even get a whole word out Sabrina was out the door.

Her multi-colored eyes brimming with tears.

Sabrina

What happned back there? I usually don't snap at people like that. Well, I don't snap then breakdown into tears. I'm sure Dusk is feeling terrible about it.

I wondered where I should go. All the others would tell Dusk where I was the second I walked in their house.

Everyone except Berry Bubble

It wasn't too hard finding Sugarcube Corner. I made sure my eyes were clean before taking a step inside.
Bubble was waiting for me.

"Hi Sabrina. I thought you were going to Dusk's?" Felt a little pinch at my heart. Man I was falling hard for this stallion.

"I was there for a few minutes, needed to check on the roof. Ready to plan the party?" I asked. Bubble stopped what he was doing and began jumping around.

"Of course I'm ready to plan a party I'm always ready to plan a party I can even plan a party in my sleep!" Bubble cheered.

"Awesome. Lets get started." I said cheerfully.

After 30 minutes of planning, baking and shopping later, we had what we needed. Lots of dark blue streamers, games and a three tear chocolate cake with bright green icing. Bubble left to send out invites.

While sitting around, one of the Cake twins crawled up to me. She looked like Pound Cake. She had the cutest little Pegasus wings on her tan body. Her chocolate brown hair was tied in a blue ribbon on top of her head. Her haircut looked like Pumpkin Cake's from the show. She had the cutest little brown eyes

"Hiya." I waved at the little pony. She gave me a cute smile. "Wanna see a cool trick?" I always did this with kids.

The foal nodded, and gestured for her brother to crawl over.

He looked like Pumpkin Cake. He had a near yellow coat with a pumpkin orange mane. His blue eyes were kind and sweet. His hair was styled like Pound Cake's from the show and jutting out from it was a small horn.

They started talking in some baby language.

Boy Pumpkin nodded his head. Guess he wanted to see the trick too.

"Ok now watch closely." I held out my hand and grew an orange tulip bud. "Looks boring right?" The twins nodded. "Well," I made the flower pop out. "Surprise!" They began laughing hysterically. The bud closed and I changed it to blue. "Watch it." They stared at it. "Surprise!" They laughed again.

I did this three more times in purple, yellow and pink.

"Angel Cake, Pumpkin Cake come back here!" I heard a womanly voice yell. The twins happy faces turned sad.

Coming up was a pink and blue Mr. Cake

"I told you two to stay upstairs." She told her kids.

"They were no trouble Ma'am." I told her.

"I know but-AH!" She had finally looked at me and screamed.

"Cup what are you screaming AH!" An orange and yellow Mrs. Cake came up and saw me too.

Looking at the twins, they shrugged their shoulders at me.

"You can calm down you know. I was just playing with them and they seemed to like it." I explained. These two had none of it.

Before I could say anymore Bubble bounced back in.

"I sent the invitations Sabrina!" He cheered, he then noticed Mr. and Mrs. Cake. "Hey Mr. Cake, Mrs. Cake, Angel and Pumpkin. You met Sabrina."

"You know it?" Mr. Cake asked. (Mrs. Cake on MLP:FIM). He called me it! Oh he is SO gonna get it.

"Yeah. She crashed into Dusk's roof ten days ago. She was hiding inside a green pod but she came out yesterday and so I'm throwing her a welcome party!" Bubble cheered.

Mrs. Cake calmed down. Mr. Cake was a little more skeptical.

"She was attacking our foals!" He yelled at me.

"I was playing peek-a-flower, see," I showed them the red bud and leaned down towards the twins who looked closely at it. "Surprise!" The tulip came out at the twins somersaulted backwards in a fit of laughter. "No danger. When does the party start Bubble?"

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Right now!" Bubble cheered. "Come in!"

The door opened and I saw Spines walk in. Dusk right behind her.

Dusk

Spines and I searched the town for Sabrina. So far we were getting nowhere. The most I found was some hoofprintes leaving the library but the rest were covered by regular hoofprintes.

Just as I was going to give up, Berry bounced by me.

"Hey Dusk hey Spines! Guess what?" Berry asked us.

"Sorry Berry we can't talk right now. We're trying to find Sabrina." Spines told him. Berry just got a confused look on his face.

"Find Sabrina? She's gonna be at the party silly Spines." Berry laughed.

"Party? What party?" I asked him.

"The 'Welcome-to-Ponyville-Ten-Days-Late Party Dusk. What other parties are there?" Berry asked me. He sounded like I asked him who raised the sub. I just stared at him.

Why didn't I think of that? I thought, facehoofing.

"Thanks Berry. When does the party start?" I asked him.

"In a few minutes. I was just out handing everypony invites. I was headed back just now. Wanna come?" Berry asked as a smile grew on his face.

Spines and I nodded.

"Great! Now let's hurry." Berry said as we were suddenly dragged away by him.

I heard Mrs. Cake scream.

"Berry, please tell me you didn't leave Sabrina alone inside Sugarcube Corner." I stated.

"I did. I should go check on her. You guys stay right here." Berry rushed inside. I looked down at Spines.

"Do you think we should go in?" Spines asked me. From outside we heard the twins laughing, loudly.

I knocked a hoof on the door. "Come in!" I heard Berry yell. Spines ran in, I slowly followed.

I tried to lock eyes with Sabrina but she avoided my gaze.

"Great now that ponies are coming we can get the party started!" Berry said while pulling a party cannon from Solaris knows where.

After another 15 minutes and more ponies coming in for the party, I still hadn't talked with Sabrina. Spine assured me that she was probably talking to all the other ponies but I think she was just avoiding me.

Looking over I saw her talking with the Crusaders. She seemed to be having fun. But she whispered something to them that suddenly got then excited enough to run out of the party.

I still had to tell her about her meeting with Solaris in the morning.

When I finally noticed she was alone, I trotted up to Sabrina.

"Hello Sabrina." I said. Sabrina gave me a warm smile.

"Oh hey Dusk, I was wondering when you would come over here." Sabrina joked. At least I think it was, she was laughing almost the entire time she said it. "I was just talking to the crusaders and those kids are about as crazy as three Chesire cats." I looked at her confused.

"Um, Sabrina. I'm sorry for what happened at the library." Her happy expression changed. Sabrina looked as though she just remembered it.

"Oh that, look Dusk," she looked her beautiful eyes into mine. I called them beautiful again. "Can we just pretend that never happened? I don't exactly want everybody thinking I'm a crybaby. It would ruin what little reputation I have as some creature here to kill you all." Okay I'm sure that one was a joke.

"We certainly wouldn't want that happening." I said, sarcastically. "Also, somepony has requested to see you tomorrow." Sabrina groaned.

"Please tell me you didn't already tell your I'm guessing Prince about me? I was hoping for a day of peace."

"How did you know I was talking about Solaris?" I asked her, dumbstruck.

"Who else would want to see me that isn't here at the party?" Sabrina asked. She did have a point.

A very pretty point

I have got to get my thoughts about her under control.

"Don't worry Shiney," She already gave me a nickname? "I forgive you for what happened at the library. There, now it's dust in the wind. Lets party." Before I could protest I was dragged into middle of a pony filled Sugarcube Corner.

"Sabrina what are you doing?" I asked her.

"Distracting you." She quickly answered before disappearing and leaving Berry in her place.

"Berry? Where did Sabrina go?" I asked him, slightly panicked.

"I don't know. But she's probably saying high to everypony! Come on Dusk, just party!" Berry cheered.

At least Sabrina wasn't mad at me.

I really don't want her to hate me. I really like her.

I need to have a talk with myself later about my feelings for this bi-pedal creature.

Sabrina

Elusive, Blitzie and me were hysterical. For the last five minutes Dusk has been trapped on dance floor with Bubble. I was almost full on laughing, trying to calm down. Blitz was rolling in the floor. Elusive was, well I guess he was doing what Rarity would do, laugh but quietly and give Blitz and me hard stares for laughing too loud.

I could almost hear Rarity saying 'how uncouth', or whatever the hell that word was, we were being. I felt a hoof grap my shoulder as I slowly stopped dying of laughter.

"Sabrina dear, are you excited for tomorrow?" Elusive asked me.

"What's happening tomorrow?" I asked him.

"The meeting with the Princes." Meeting with the Princes! The pegasister in me freaked, but I'm only 1/8th pegasister and its growing with every second I spend her. It would meet male versions of Celestia and my favorite pony Luna!

"The Princes! Awesome," Then I remembered. I have nothing but the clothes on my back. "Only problem is I don't have anything to wear. *Sigh* if only I knew somepony who could help with that? Elusive do you have any ideas?" Elusive's deep blue eyes grew widely.

"Me? You want me to design your dress?" Elusive asked me.

"Totally. Your the only other pony I know who can design something drop dead gorgeous I would be honored to have a dress designed by Elusive." I told him while making a grand sweeping gesture with my arm.

Elusive almost fainted.

"It would be my pleasure Sabrina."

Giving Elusive a quick thanks I looked over to check up on Dusk. It was hilarious.

Bubble had managed to get a fast party song playing. Dusk was having trouble escaping the dance floor from everypony dancing all around. He had this shocked expression that I found adorable.

Dusk is so cute when he's panicking. I'm not even gonna bother with pretending it didn't happen.

I turned to Elusive one last time. "Elusive when the party is over we can start with the dress." He nodded his head.

"And let me tell you Sabrina, those are some colorful eyes. Does everypony where you're from have eyes like that?" My eyes? MY EYES! I completely forgot about my magically shaded eyes.

"No. I'm the only one. My mom thought it was something to do with my magic but my dad thought it was stupid genetics." I explained. Elusive seemed a little saddened. Hearing my statement.

"Do you miss your parents?" Elusive asked me. I began twirling my hair with my finger subconsciously, I do that when I get nervous.

Do I miss my parents? No. How can I miss the people that sent me here?

"Not really, I'm used to taking care of myself so it'll take a few months before I come even remotely close to missing them." My explanation seemed to confuse him.

"Not miss your parents? How can anypony your age not miss your parents?" Elusive interrogated.

"One, I thought you were taught never to ask a lady her age. Two, because I believe that they are doing all missing for five of me." I explained. This answer seemed to calm down Elusive. "Now if you excuse me I have to party." I joined the many other ponies on the dance floor.

The party lasted another two hours. I saw male versions of background ponies. Many of which had surprising names but otherwise were just as crazy as when I first realized I was in a land full of ponies. Genderswapped ponies.

As the ponies finally started clearing out I told Elusive that it would be best if we left Sugarcube Corner so we could get started on my dress.

He asked of we should tell Dusk, I thought about it and said probably not. He said yes. So we ended up leaving a message with Bubble. I would never get anything done with Dusk's pretty purple unicorn head at the Boutique. It looked just it did in the show.

Except just a little less girly.

They second we got to the door I was placed in the middle of the room.

"Thread by thread, stitching it together

Sabrina's dress, cutting out the pattern snip by snip.

Making sure the fabric folds nicely

It's the perfect color and so hip

Always gotta keep my mind pacing

Making sure the clothes' correctly facing

I'm stitching Sabrina's dress!"

The clothes I came in were removed in a light blue aura (Elusive forgot my bra and underwear but it was still embarrassing) and a lot of sewing materials floated around the room. Many of which became attracted by my body.

I am suddenly glad that my mom made me get 9 dresses tailored in my lifetime.

I heard music from some weird location and before I could even try to find out where i had heard this song
before I joined Elusive in singing.

"Yard by yard, fussing on details

No jewel neckline, did you know a stitch in time saves nine?

Make me something perfect to inspire

Even though I hate formal attire

Gotta mind those colors go with my eyes

Very much to your surprise

It's my new dress!"

This place is awesome! It's where I could use my music power and no one would freak out! Music coming out of nowhere must be a normal thing around here. Or at least normal with Bubble.

I didn't notice Elusive's next couple of verses but it was probably in some fashion language I only understand for two seconds.

What I did notice was that I was about to sing again.

"Piece by piece, snip by snip

Croup, dock, huanch, shoulders, hip

Thread by thread, primmed and pressed

Yard by yard, never stressed!

And that's the art of the dress!" and like that the music vanished.

I hadn't noticed what my dress looked like but hoped it was beautiful.

"And...it's...done!" Elusive finally said. Making sure it was safe to walk around this house in my underwear I took a look at it.

"Wow..."

Dusk

"Berry?" Berry turned to me as we cleaned up the bakery. I became worried when I couldn't find Sabrina. "Have you seen Sabrina?" He nodded vigorously. I waited a second or two for him to respond. "Can you tell me where?" Berry nodded his head again and I was again met with silence. "Will you tell me where Sabrina is?"

"Sure Dusk! She went to work on Elusive for her outfit for tomorrow. Sabrina was really excited about it and said she didn't want to distract you from whatever it is you do." Berry told me in his usual manner.

"Okay. See you later Berry." I told him.

"I'll see you tomorrow! Or wait, will I be seeing you tonight or maybe..." I trotted toward the Boutique, leaving Berry to himself.

As I got close I could hear music.

"Piece by piece, snip by snip

Croup, dock, huanch, shoulders, hip

Thread by thread, primmed and pressed

Yard by yard, never stressed!

And that's the art of the dress!" Was that Sabrina?

As I heard the music fade, I waited a minute or so, in case the music started up again.

I opened the door and what saw was beauty.

Sabrina in her new dress. It was the shade of dark blue as the cloth she wore earlier. The top part held close to her chest, covering those two things on her chest. (Author's Note- I don't entirely think they know of breasts so don't go getting all disgusting) Over her one of her shoulders held a white strap that probably kept the dress from falling. The dress went down to her waist before it really started to shine.

It ruffled down just above the floor. Each of the ruffles had small diamonds to make it look like the most beautiful night sky I have ever seen. It didn't even matter that the star were inaccurate.

Overall, beautiful.

Focus Dusk Shine!

"Thanks Elusive. I was a little skeptic about asking before you agreed to help me." Sabrina said.

"Darling if you didn't then I most certainly would have dragged you here to make you that dress. And what a dazzling dress it is!" Elusive said. Apprently neither of them noticed I was here.

"Wow." I suddenly said.

Sabrina looked over at me, surprised.

"Bubble." I nodded. "As long as you're here, whadda ya think?" She motioned to her dress.

"It looks amazing. Elusive you managed to make this in the time it took me to walk over from Sugarcube Corner?" He nodded.

"I know. The color apparently brings out the green and brown in her eyes. It was surprising. Sabrina also has a love for the night, she told me on the trot over." Elusive told me, I was a little shocked.

Not many ponies love the night. The few that due tend not to show it.

"You like the night?" Sabrina nodded, I think I saw her cheeks blush. "What about the night?" Sabrina waited a moment, as though to choose her favorite part.

"All of it. The stars, cold air, darkness, everyone else being asleep. It's all just so... enchanting." Sabrina said with this beautiful dreamy look on her face.

Elusive cleared his throat.

"Right, thanks for the dress Elusive. I can't wait to see the Princes tomorrow. Dusk just let me get changed and we can go." Sabrina walked behind some room divider.

Elusive trotted over to me as I waited.

"You my stallion have a crush on her don't you?" He asked me.

"What? Me? A crush? On her? Are you serious?" I asked him quickly. Elusive laughed.

"Oh poor colt, I was nearly asking you a question. No need to freak out." Elusive said.

"Right. I knew that." I blushed.

"Of course you did." Elusive joked as Sabrina walked back with her dress in hoof, or hand I guess, and her clothes from the party over her body.

"That was fast." I told her.

"I'm very good at getting dressed. Unlike most girls from where I come from, I don't spend an hour finding things to wear and spending another twelve putting in on. Don't worry I'll explain my life on Earth later." Sabrina explained as she walked towards the door. "You coming Dusk?"

"Oh, right. See you later Elusive." I trotted out the door.

We had been walking for about five minutes when I became mesmerized by Sabrina. She liked so carefree even though she was just tossed into some strange world. Her magic shocked me. Sabrina was using those ice powers to...

Her ice powers

"Why didn't you tell is about your ice powers." I asked. Sabrina looked a little surprised.

"You caught that?" She blushed. I nodded. "Sorry, I was always taught to not show my powers of in public, unless no one would notice then it was alright "So Dusk, what is the Prince like?"

“Princes. The eldest is my mentor Prince Solaris. He can make the sun rise and is skilled with magic. The other Prince is Artemis, which you two already have something in common.”

“What?” Sabrina asked.

“You both love the night. Artemis rises the moon, he has only been back for two years or so.” I don’t know why but I felt like I could explain things to her and she would believe it,n no matter how crazy it sounded.

“Yeah, the Elements of Harmony did a number on her.” Sabrina stopped in her tracks, I did too.

“Her? Artemis is a stallion. How did you know about the elements of Harmony anyway?” I asked. Sabrina
flushed, she looked around probably trying to find some excuse to explain it.

“Uh, how did I know about the Elements. Easy, it was because, uh, I...I...” A look of clarity came across her face. “I will tell you after I tell Prince Solaris. He should know first so he can tell you in some cryptic way.”

“I prefer you tell me now Sabrina.” I told her.

“If I told you Dusk then you would surely write a letter to Solaris and I did not have Elusive make this dress so it would hang in my future closet. Oh look the library!” Having a break in conversation gave Sabrina the chance to run inside.

I was getting those answers. And no matter how I feel about Sabrina I will get them.

Sabrina

I managed to get some sleep in Dusk's spare room. He was pissed at me. I didn't want to tell him about mare 'My Little Pony'. He would freak. Not just that it existed but that it was a TV show that I watched with Felicia.

After a night of sleep, at least I think I slept, I got ready for the day and in my dress and waited for Dusk to wake up. Spines had apparently made a breakfast and nearly fainted when she saw the dress.

"Elusive?" I nodded, "Yeah. I still don't know how you knew I had a crush on him."

I shrugged my shoulders at her. "I guess you'll never know Spines. You aren't very good at hiding it though."

"I'm not?" Spines asked. I figured it was time for a girl talk.

"During the party you barely took your green eyes off him. If I were you I would have left secret admirer notes at his Boutique once a week. Then, maybe one day after he's tried to figure it out I leave more and more hints about me until it became clear." I explained to her. Spines walked over to me, with a big plate of freshly cooked pancakes, and sat next to me.

"You know who I like but who's the lucky stallion that has you heart?" She asked me.

"The only way I would tell you is at a sleepover during Truth or Dare." I said flatly. It was then we heard Dusk coming down the stairs. "Sleeping Beauty, how was the night of sleep?"

Dusk grumbled a response.

He is so cute when he is sleepy headed.

"We have pancakes but we need to hurry. The train leaves in an hour." Spines explained as Dusk used magic to move pancakes onto a plate and began eating them.

Spines and I giggled as Dusk got over his morning self.

After an hour, and some ice spells on him to help Dusk wake up, we were all on the train. I got some time to talk to the others on the four hour train ride.

Butterscotch seemed like good idea.

"Hey 'Scotch, how'd you sleep?" I asked him in a kind voice. He gave a mumbled answer. "You're still a little shy around me huh?" He nodded. "Don't worry about it. I can talk for the two of us." That time he didn't give an answer. Maybe if I say something. "I'm actually kinda nervous about meeting the Princes." Butterscotch looked at me shocked.

"Nervous? You don't look nervous." Butterscotch told me.

"I'm good at hiding some emotions. I have tells though, like twirling my hair with my fingers, chewing on the inside of my cheek, rambling on and on and on. Like I'm doing right now." The two of us laughed.

"Why are you so nervous?" Butterscotch asked with his own kindness.

"I get nervous when someone important asks me to see them. You'd be surprised how often that happens." I joked nervously. I lost count of how many times I was called into the principal's office or had to schedule an appointment to get some one-on-one time with Mom.

Butterscotch lowered his butter yellow head into his crossed hooves.

"That would make me nervous too." I patted his rose colored mane.

"I'm hoping it ends well today."

After I got him talking, we had a nice chat. It got rid of my nerves because Butterscotch til me that well into our conversation I started twirling my hair.

The rest if the trip was boring to say the least. The most exciting part of it all was meeting mare Shining Armor.

Sparkling Armor (Shout out to Lyra_BrushStroke) (as I later learned her name to be) looked the same color wise. Her head was more feminine and she was wearing eye liner.

When she saw us she ran up to Dusk and wrapped him in a hug.

"Dusky!" She shouted.

"Dusky?" I asked him.

"Sparkling! We're here on official Prince business." Dusk explained as the rest of us laughed silently.

"I know but how often to I get to tease my LBBFF?" Shimmering asked him while rubbing a white hoof in Dusk's dark blue mane.

"Little Brother Best Friend Forever?" I asked her, she looked at me with a serious face.

"The Princes would like to see you now. They requested I bring you to them." Getting a half shocked smile (the kind you get when someone tells you you won a million bucks).

As Sparkling guided me away, I gave them all a thumbs-up. Dusk all would be too busy trying to figure out what I meant to sorry.

"So, what's your name?" I asked her as we left the stallions behind.

"Sparkling Armor. How did you know what I meant by 'LBBFF'?" She asked me.

"Cause that's what I would use. Plus it makes way more sense then 'Lake Bakery Blue Fire Flower', although it does have a ring to it." I joked. This got a small laugh to come from Captian of the Royal Guard.

"I guess it does. But Dusk gets all angry when I call him Dusky in front of his friends." Sparkling explained to me

Dusk. I really really liked Dusk. Something about him just, made me forget about whatever happened back home. His purple eyes were stranger than mine, in that they were purple. He was smarter than me I knew that but he was still a very big crush.

Uh oh

'Do you ever think

When your all alone

All that we can be

Where this thing can go

Am I crazy or fallin in love

Is it really just another crush'

These word floated around the halls of the palace. This was the worst part of The Siren's Melody, it would sometimes take my thoughts and push them out in song form.

At least it wasn't my voice.

"Did you hear that?" Sparkling asked me while looking in the halls.

"Yes. I think the Princes are starting to worry. Lets go." I answered, slightly embarrassed. This was worse than finding out that whole you were thinking really hard you were staring at somebody. Embarrassing.

Sparkling looked at me oddly but she kept on going.

'What were those stupid rules Mom taught me for when I meet dignitaries?' Just as I finished my thought, we arrived at a really big door.

Making careful steps I walked inside and saw stallions that did not look as I thought.

Solaris had the same white coat and height. His mane was different. It was bright red, orange, yellow and dark red moving in an unexisting wind. The rest looked just like Celestia.

Artemis was the same as Luna. He was just maybe an inch taller than me with a more square jaw.

I finally remembered my title.

"My name is Sabrina Goldenheart the First. Daughter of High-Priestess Georgia and Marcus Goldenheart. Second in Line to the coven of Malbridge, Massachsetts. Zup." This brought a laugh from Solaris. "But everyone better call me Sabrina, Ms. Goldenheart is my mom."

"Understood. We were told by Dusk Shine that you had something you needed to tell us. He wrote to me in a letter that you knew of the Elements of Harmony." Solaris said.

"It's gonna sound crazy Solar. where I'm from, Earth, all of this." I gestured to the room, "is a TV show. A cartoon. Where a stallion here is a mare there and vice versa. Thats how I knew about the Elements. Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rariy, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie used them on Nightmare Moon, Celestia's little sister. That's how I know the story." I explained to the dignitaries.

Solaris gave a look to Artemis.

"Do you believe her?" He asked. Artemis gave me a strange stare that I quickly gave back.

"What can you do?" There it was. The wonder question.

Thinking about how to start, I held out my hand and formed a snowball.

"Impressive." Solaris said.

"That's not all." I tossed the ball into the air and pulled the leaf I hid in my hair up, using it to create a small trampoline for it. I used my powers over autumn to keep the trampoline up as the snowball fell on it. I used the summer powers to melt ball and freeze it as it rained to make it snow. "I can harness the Seasons: spring, summer, autumn and summer."

"I imagine you use them often." Solaris implied.

"Of course I do. You haven't lived until you make someone think they're stuck in some snow vortex and are being transported to another universe. Ha ha ha, it's hilarious!" I laughed.

Artemis and Solaris joined me in laughing. I went on.

"My mom however hated my pranks unless it brought life to a dull coven meeting. It happened more often then you'd think."

"We have Night Court where ponies would rather sleep. Our brother has Day Court and is treated with much more respect than a pony could want. We believe we know the boredom of a meeting of which you speak." Artemis explained.

"True. But I have one more power and it's a doozy."

"Could you show us?" Solaris asked.

"Of course I could. But we'll need to go to wherever Dusk and the others are without them knowing." I explained.

"Why?" Artemis asked, looking at me suspiciously.

"A prank ain't a prank if the victims can see you." I explained like it was obvious.

Dusk

We have been here for an hour. One hour and we haven't had word of Sabrina. I wasn't panicking, oh no. I was in a full blown meltdown. Had they killed her? Had they sent her to the dungeons? Would they send her back to her home as soon as she said where she lived? Would the kill her?

Applejack and Rainbow Blitz were playing card, Berry was bouncing around as if he didn't have a care in the world. Elusive and Butterscotch were simply talking. Spines sat in a chair bored.

One of the other guards had placed us inside the library. I read a book but was halfway through it by the time I noticed she was gone way too long. About ten minutes in.

"What if they send her to the moon!" I told the others. They all let out varying types of groans.

"For the last time Dusk." Blitz started. "Sabrina is a big mare. She can handle a couple a princes."

"I agree with Blitz. We'd know by now if they went and sent Sabrina up in them there moon haystack." Applejack explained.

"Have more faith in the mare Dusk. Anypony who can help make such a beautiful dress can handle something as simple as a Royal Calling." Elusive pointed out, for I think the fifth time.

"Oh yes. They would only send her away if they thought she was dangerous. Sabrina is too kind to ever do something worthy of going to the moon." Butterscotch explained.

"But she knew all that stuff about us. What if when Sabrina's tells Solaris how she knows he sends her to the moon!" I screamed at my friends.

"I'm sure she has an explanation that won't get her in too much trouble." Spine comforted.

"Yeah. I guess you're right." My friends let out released breathes, satisfied that I had calmed down.

Resting by a desk covered neatly in books I continued reading the book I was reading some fifth minutes ago. Spines was right. Sabrina couldn't be doing that bad.

"It's close to midnight

And something evil lurking in the dark

Under the moonlight

You see a sight that almost stops your heart."

"Did you stallions hear what I just heard?" Applejack asked us.

"That song? Yes I believe we did Applejack." Elusive answered. We all got up from our respective places and
followed the strange song that chilled me to the bone.

"You try to scream

But terror takes the sound before you make it

You start to freeze

As horror looks you right between the eyes.

You’re Paralyzed!”

“What is that?” Butterscotch asked, starting to get scared.

“I don’t know and I’d rather not find out.” I told them. “Let’s get out of here!”

We all dashed out of the library, the strange song following us. Yet all of the guards remained still, as though they didn’t hear it.

”Cause this is thriller! Thriller night!

And no one’s gonna save you from the beast about to strike! Yeah

You know it’s thriller. Thriller Night.

You’re fightin for your life inside a killer, thriller night!”

We kept on running, not really wanting to see what happens when whoever is doing this.

"Don't any of your guards hear that!" Rainbow yelled at one of them. The guard remained, not even flinching,

"Rainbow now is not the time to get angry now is the time to run!" I yelled as I heard the music creep up towards us again.

"Fine." Rainbow groaned as he joined the rest of us in fleeing.

"We need to find the Princes, them's got ta know what this thang is." Applejack explained.

As soon as he said that we all headed that direction. It wasn't that long a run though but the music almost caught up with us.

"Dusk..." Spines warned while clining to my back.

"I hear it too." I told her.

When we came close to the Throne Room I noticed three things.

1. There were no guards.

2. There were noises coming from the inside.

3. If there were noises then the Princes and Sabrina must still be inside.

"Stallions we need to get inside, now!" I yelled as we charged inside. Good timing too because the music was right at Elusive's back as we ran inside to find something shocking.

Sabrina and Artemis were laughing like crazy, Solaris looked at us all with amusement.

"Solaris, there's this strange beast chasing after us. It tried to play some music to lure us away, the guards refused to act and why are those two laughing?" I told him.

Sabrina stopped laughing for maybe a few seconds to talk. "You should've seen the looks on your faces when the music started. I thought you were gonna scream!" She then returned to her laughter.

Hearing some chuckling from behind me, we all turned to see Berry laughing with her.

"Why ya laughing Haystack?" Applejack asked with mild confusion.

"Because we just got pranked! I thought it was some Big Scary Monster Guy but now that I know that it was a prank it's hilarious!" Berry cheered.

Artemis calmed down enough to speak. "Thou were right, it would have been less fun if they knew what we were doing Sabrina. Tis a very interesting magic you have." He said before laughing again.

I looked at Sabrina shocked.

"You did that? But what about the guards?" I asked. "What was that?"

Sabrina waited a couple of seconds to answer me, still apparently finding my near terror funny. "That my dear pony, was my other Power. My friend nicknamed it 'The Siren's Melody', and I just used it to scare ya'll into next week. Thriller, it never gets old." I was mad now. "And you can thank the guards to that BSBFF of yours. When she heard ya'll were getting pranked and that the Princes were in on it. She just could not resist."

"That royal order I gave her helped however." Solaris pointed out.

"True, true, oh so very true." Sabrina, she always has another shock up her sleeve.

"All of that was a prank!" Rainbow yelled.

"Of course Blitzie. I at first thought it wouldn't work on account for the fact there was no monster just a creepy song from the 70's but you guys never let me down." Sabrina explained.

"Oh it is on," Blitz told her.

"It was on when I threw that snowball." Snowball?

"You mean the snowball fight in Ponyville?" Rainbow asked her.

"Nope. The one I'm gonna throw in three." Sabrina said. "Two, one!" Before we could react a bunch of snow fell on top of Rainbow, and melted just as fast as it appeared. "And that's why you don't start a Prank War with a witch in control of the Seasons Blitzie."

The seven of us just stared on in shock. She could control seasons and music? This would make things very interesting.

Sabrina patted Solaris' bac before walking towards, all too shocked to move. "Alright Solar I think these kids have had enough for today. I keep in my mind to send that letter after I finish building the Bungalow. Make sure they make it back alright."

"Understood Sabrina. Good-bye." He told her as she just walked out of the room. "The rest of you need to close your mouths, or else a fly will just fly right inside them." I finally camre back from my state of shock. Then the questions started.

"What was that? How did she do it? Why did you go along with it? How-" I was cut off by Solaris.

"My faithful student, you were so stressed before this prank. Sabrina thought it would be nice to get your mind off what might happen to her." Solaris explained. "She has requested to stay in Ponyville with you seven. Sabrina says the place felt more like home. I have also requested she start sending letters to me via Dragon-fire so keep that in mind. Oh, and Dusk..." I nodded. "The reason she knows all of those things will be revealed in my next letter to you. I have to get back to my duties and explaining face-to-face would take far too long. You all better hurry, your train is leaving in thirty minutes." Solaris said as he trotted away from us.

As we started walking back to the outside, I noticed Sparkling laughing off to the side.

"Have any fun Dusk?" She asked me.

"They told me about how you helped in that prank. Why'd you do it big sis?" I asked her.

"Because I knew you needed a good scare, plus it's not everyday I can have some fun with my LBBFF." Sparkling said.

We finally found Sabrina at the train station waiting by the Friendship Express. She was trying to keep from laughing, she wasn't doing a good job. Neither was Berry. When we finally got back on I noticed her apolgizing to a scared Butterscotch, after a while he finally seemed to forgive her. And even though I was furious at her,

I couldn't stay mad at her. Not matter how hard I was trying.

Sabrina
One Week Later

Winter Wrap Up is way cooler then the show made it out for. Of course it does help that you can melt all the snow in three seconds flat. Helping Elusive make cute little bird nests were fun too. I managed to build myself the cutest little bungalow once we got all the snow cleared up. The two days were made up of getting new clothes by Elusive, a New House party by Bubble and even a small time helping AJ on the farm. Only one pony managed to figure out I liked Dusk (I’ll give you a hint, he doesn’t raise the moon) but Berry Promised to keep it a secret.

Dusk managed to forgive me for what happened at the palace, he thought it was funny after he got over the anger. Spines forgave me as soon as we got back, so did Blitzie. Solaris also left the telling of how I know all this stuff to me.

Even then I was still trying to get on Dusk’s good side. Apparently he needed help in the library because Spines was taking one of her seven hour bubble baths. I quickly agreed to help, spring cleaning is way more fun when you can harness spring.

I’ve heard this setup before, but where?

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

”Package for Mr. Dusk Shine.”

“Be right back Sabrina.” Dusk said as he walked over to the door, leaving me to remove the dust of the Elements of Harmony.

“No problem.” I said, half sarcastically. I heard the opening and closing before Dusk showed me the book and letter. “Looks important.” Dusk ignored me and opened up the letter.

”Dear Dusk Shine. The spell contained on the last page of this book is Starswirla the Maned’s Secret Unfinished Masterpiece.” He hovered the book closer to him “Ooo!” I chuckled, but the nagging sense of Deju vu hit me again. “She was never able to right and thus abandoned it. I believe you are the only pony who can understand and re-write it. Prince Solaris.” Dusk took a look at the brown book with golden rings holding it together.

“Don’t you think you should ask him what it does first?” I asked him.

“The best way to find out is to try it.” Dusk said flatly.

From one to another, another to one

A mark of one’s destiny singled out alone fulfilled. I heard some strange electrical sounds but was sure it was nothing.

“That doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t even rhyme!” Dusk said, simple placing the book on that center display in the middle of the library.

“Spells don’t have to rhyme Egghead.” I said, mimicking Blitzie for the last part. It was a pretty good impression too.

Dusk gave me a small laugh.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thanks for your help Sabrina. I appreciated it.” He told me. Did I see a blush?

“No problem. Plus, it wasn’t like I had anything better to do.” The clock suddenly chimed, saying it was 9. “I should get some sleep. You guys are early birds and unfortunately you all are turning me into one.”

“Alright, good night Sabrina.”

“Adios Dusk.” I cheered as I walked to my safe little Bungalow. That feeling I always got when I felt something was wrong kept nagging at me. “Maybe after some sleep it’ll go away.”

It didn’t. That bad feeling was still there and it didn’t help that Dusk was singing some weird song about the town shimmering and shining. Until Blitzie poured water on his head.

“Rainbow Blitz that’s not funny!” He yelled.

“Terribly sorry good stallion. I’m afraid I’m not good with the thundering one.” Came Elusive’s voice. I walked over to see him on the pink bridge.

“Elucy, whatcha doin’?”

“Doing what I’ve always done Sabrina.”

“Sabrina, you need to see this.” Dusk said. Taking a quick look I saw it.

Blitzie’s cutiemark was right where three little diamonds should be.

“Something tells me everything is not gonna be fine.” Dusk said, completing the song.

Stupid feeling that something bad was gonna happen.

Suddenly a bunch a ponies came around complaining about this stupid patterned weather.

“Too last season?" Elusive asked.

We had just finished winter a few day’s ago and he’s making it snow! Only I get to do that!

“Where’s Rainbow Blitz?” I asked Elusive.

“At his cottage, where else would he be?” Elusive told me. I grabbed Dusk’s hoof and dragged him back to the library. Picking up the sleeping Spines and dragged them off in the direction of Butterscotch’s cottage.

“I still don’t know what you had to wake me up for. I love sleeping in the rain.” Spines told us.

“Spines, Elusive was making it snow this morning along with rain, thunder, and painful sunlight. He had Blitzie’s cutiemark and said Blitzie was in his cottage. I’ve had this nagging feeling ever since last night and felt like we needed to check this out.” I explained to him.

“Elusive? Making it rain?” Spines said, shocked, as I knocked on the front door of the cottage.

A familiar cyan blue head with tri-colored bangs peeked out.

“Oh! Hey Dusk, Spines, Sabrina.” Blitzie looked a little sad.

“Rainbow Blitz why is Elusive doing your job?” Dusk asked as I heard a crash come from inside. Blitz ducked back inside.

“You ain’t getting away that easy.” I warned as I stormed inside the cottage.

It was like Rise of the Planet of the Apes in there. Birds were tweeting like mad. Woodland creatures, I think I even saw a bear, were running around like crazy and tearing the place apart. Was that a seal?

“What in the hell is going on in here?” I asked him.

”These animals don’t listen. No not one little bit

They run around out of control and throw their hissy fits

It up to me to stop them cause plainly you can see

It’s gotta be my destiny. And it’s what my cutiemark is telling me.”

And there, sitting on Blitzie’s flank was three pink butterflies.

“Butterscotch.” Dusk said.

“Fluttershy- I mean Butterscotch. We have to find him.” I said, thankfully Dusk didn’t notice my mishap.

“Try Sugarcube Corner. I think I heard he was throwing a party today.”

Faster then I could blink, we arrived. I think Dusk teleporte us. I heard the music playing as we go close.

”I try to keep them laughing put a smile on their face

But no matter what I try it seems a bit of a disgrace

I have to entertain them, it’s there for all to see

It’s gotta be my destiny. And it’s what my cutiemark is telling me.” A yellow balloon with two blue ones.

“Have you seen Bubble?” I asked Butterscotch, he seemed unhappy that ponies weren’t enjoying the party.

“Sweet Apple Acres. Why are you asking me that Sabrina?”

Then we ran to SAA, I heard country music. Began tapping my foot.

Dusk was the first to see a flat maned Bubble.

”I don’t care much for pickin’ fruit and plowin’ fields ain’t such a whoot

No matter what I try I cannot fix this busted water shoot!

I’ve got so many chores to do it’s no fun being me

But it has to be my destiny cause it’s what my cutiemark is telling me.” I didn’t like seeing Bubble like this. So,
so, un-Bubble. He seemed completely different yet exactly the same. On his flank was AJ’s cutiemark. “We need to get to the Boutique.” Dusk and Spines gave me a strange look. “If Elusive has Blitz, Blitz has Butterscotch, Butterscotch has Bubble and Bubble has AJ, then what cutiemark is left for AJ to have?”

Their pupils shrunk.

In almost no time at all we arrived at saw what would make Rarity jump of a cliff because she could never get such fashion horror out of her mind.

”Lookie here at what I made I think that’s it’s a dress

The clothes have got me awnry I can't take all this stress!

Could ya’ll give me a hoof here and help me fix this mess!

My destiny is not pretty but it’s what my cutiemark is tellin’ me.” There on the former country pony’s flank were three diamonds.

Spines, Dusk and I walked outside to find Elusive still standing on the bridge, trying to fix the weather.

”I’m in love with weather patterns but the other’s have concerns

For I just gave them frostbite overtop of their sunburns.” That sounds like it hurts.

After hearing all of my friends singing what I could only guess was the chorus.

I finally remembered where I had seen this. It was all on TV a few weeks before I was sent here! The episode was, Magical Mystery Cure. But how did that stupid episode end?

“I think I know what’s wrong.” Dusk said, running towards the library.

After explaining what happened last night to Spines, Dusk got all depressed thinking he ruined their lives. He even sang a sad song. Frankly I was sick and tired of him sulking. I wanted my panicking, OCD having, stallion back.

“Dusk you listen and you listen good.” He looked up at me with tear filled eyes. “Why are you in here sulking when you should be thinking of ways to get them all back?”

“Because I caused this Sabrina! I can’t think of anything else to do!” Dusk yelled at me.

The songs from the episode filled my mind.

“A true, true friend helps a friend in need. A friend will be there to help them see. A true, true friend helps a friend in need to see the light that shines from a true, true friend. We need to get out friends back Dusk. And if you won’t help then I guess I know how much you value their friendships.” I said, hoping it would work.

Dusk shot up from the bed and began to yell at me.

“They’re all my best friends! They mean more to me than anything! They’re like family to me and I messed them up!”

“If they mean so much to you then why aren’t you trying to remind of how much they mean to you huh?” A look of clarity filled his eyes.

Dusk ran down the stairs of the library and placed the elements inside a box.

“I got it! I know what do!” He cheered, Spines and me ran down to make sure Dusk was alright. “I might not be able to remind them of who they are, but I can try to show them what they mean to each other.”

Good, more songs coming up. I love a good song every once in awhile. The blue jewel covered box was placed on Spines’ back. We ran out the door and noticed the balloon preparing to go.

With Butterscotch.

“‘Scotch wait up!” I shouted.

I arrived first and was given a hearty smile from Butterscotch.

“Oh, hey Dusk, hey Sabrina. I was just about to head back to Cloudsdale. They might like my parties.” Butterscotch explained.

“We love your parties Butterscotch but we need help.” I started.

“Rainbow Blitz is having trouble with the animals.” Dusk finished.

“But I don’t know anything about animals.” Butterscotch said shyly.

“But you do know Blitz.” I said.

“I know he’s a true friend. And I’ll do anything I can to help him. So I guess I could help.” Butterscotch said proudly.

“We’ll be there to help don’t worry.” I assured as we ran to his cottage.

Okay first off, no one told me that animals ate ponies. It looked like Blitz was being made into Rainbow Stew.

“We have to help him!” Butterscotch yelled. “Dusk, isn’t there anything you can do? Sabrina?”

“It has to be you Butterscotch. Rainbow Blitz needs YOU!’ I said pointing a finger at him.

Looking at the complete onslaught of Animals Attack, the timid pegasus flew up to them.

“Um...hello. Little woodlands creatures?” Doesn’t look to be working. “I know you’re all upset and feel like giving Rainbow Blitz a hard time but I would really appreciate it if you calm down and maybe rest for a bit?” He had gotten all of their attention, even Lilitha Bunny who looked more than happy to get rid of Blitz. I created a couple of acorns and a small salad, pushing them towards ‘Scotch. “OH! Look, a nice juice salad for you to munch on. And some crunchy munchy acorns too.”

Butterscotch trotted up to the three animals still wanting to barbeque Blitz, offering them some more of the nuts.

The animals cheered him, Lilitha Bunny ran up to him and hugged him hoof. When the bear gave Butterscotch a big bear hug, I noticed a faint pink glow growing around Butterscotch.

Grabbing The Element of Kindness I ran up to him.

“My Destiny!” And with that, the party pegasus was gone and my favorite timid pegasus was back, cutiemark and all.

“It worked!” Dusk and I cheered as the music suddenly filled the cabin.

“A true, true friend helps a friend in need.” I sang.

”A friend will be there to help them see.” Dusk sang. Butterscotch joined in.

”A true, true friend helps a friend in need

To see the light that shines from a true, true friend!” I wrapped them both up a touching hug.

“Um? Hello! Friend trapped inside remember?” Blitzie yelled.

As Dusk used his magic to untie Blitz, I sang.

”Elusive needs your help.

He’s trying hard doing what he can.” Butterscotch took over.

”Would you try? Just give it a chance

You might find that you’ll start to understand.”

Group singing!

”A true, true friend helps a friend in need.

A friend will be there to help them see

A true, true friend helps a friend in need

To see the light that shines from a true, true friend!” In a flurry of motion, we got Rainbow Blitz back.

“Um, what just happened?”

“No time. AJ is making suits!” I yelled at him.

Blitz and I guided Elusive to the Boutique.

”Applejack needs your help.

He’s trying hard doing what he can

Would you try just give it a chance

You might find that you’ll start to understand.”

After a moment or two, Elusive did nothing so I did the only thing I could.

”Thread by thread, stitching it together

Fashion line, cutting out the pattern snip by snip.” My impromtu singing was interrupted by Elusive.

”Making sure the fabric folds nicely

It’s the perfect color and so hip.”

I joined the three stallions in singing the chorus.

By the end, we had Elusive back.

“Oh my, what a terrible dream I had.” He looked at the horror of suits and dresses definately made from old cloth from Sweet Apple Acres. “Or maybe I’m still having it.”

“Elusive, Berry Bubble is about to lose the Apple Farm. We need Applejack’s help!” Dusk said proudly.

“Lose the apple farm? Well we can’t let that happen now can we?” Elusive grabbed a confused Applejack, Elusive had his cutiemark I would be confused too, and began singing on the journey to the decaying field of trees.

”Berry Bubble is trouble

We need to get there by his side

We can try to do what we can know

For together when can be his guide!”

Taking Bubble by the hoof we all began doing our part to bring the Farm back to life.

It wasn’t long before AJ started taking Leadership of it all, getting an orange glow. I placed the Element of Honesty on him and it changed from a purple apple to an orange one.

“YEEHAW! Now that’s more Ah like it. What’s next?” Applejack asked of us.

“We need a party. Fast.” I explained.

“The towns ponies are furious. We need to old Berry Bubble back.”

“No problem, I no just the thing.” AJ said before grabbing Bubble and dragging him towards Ponyville.

”The town’s people need ya, They’ve been sad for a while

They march around, faces frown, and never seem to smile.” Applejack sang, placing those corny glasses on Bubble. I finished the verse and helped Applejack push Bubble.

”And if you feel like helpin’ We’d apprecite a LOTTTTT!

If ya get up there and spread some cheer form here to Canterlotttt!” The Element of laughter was placed Bubble. His hair poofed up and he quickly turned the faces of the town’s ponies happy.

“BERRY!” They all shouted.

After we had a town parade consisting of the rest of the song, the Mane 6 got in a group hug giving them all a very bright pink glow.

I’m sure you know the rest. Dusk ran off like crazy into the library, wrote the rest of the spell, the Elements blasted him only leaving a burn mark.

“OH MY GOSH WE KILLED DUSK!” Bubble shouted.

“Hold yer hooves haystack. Let’s see if we blasted him inta town.” Applejack said.

We spent the next two hours searching town. I knew we wouldn’t find anything and we simply would have to wait.

Just as we came close to our third hour of searching, a bright pinkish purplish flash brought back to the library.

“Dusk, is that you?!” Applejack asked. With his eyes still closed, Dusk let his wings out.

Dusk was an Alicorn. The episode played out as I remembered it to. Solaris came out, told us Dusk was a Prince. He even bowed. I noticed though as Dusk looked towards me and I slowly bowed, I could have sworn I saw a pained look in his eye.

The next day I watched with pride, a maybe a small cut or two from Elusive rushing to make me my new dress last night, as Dusk became the Newest Prince.

I felt a small tear fell off my cheek. My feelings for Dusk became clear to me as he gave his speech about him being the luckiest Pony in Equestria to have such great friends as the seven of us (Spines included).

I was in love with Prince Dusk Shine.

My power suddenly released the song ‘1234 by the Plain White T’s’ out into the open. Using little control I had over it I blew it into the opposite direction, praying no pony would hear it.

Regular POV

Black. More black. A little green. Even more black. That’s all there was at the Changeling Hive. They had been forced to leave their ancestral home due to the Pony Army attacking it after the Invasion by their leader King Morphosis. He sat in his throne room, patiently awaiting for his guards to report on anything strange sightings. Morphisis’ plan would have gone without a hitch if not for that Prince D’amore Temporus and that purple stallion.

He swore that he would get his revenge on them both if it was the last thing he did. It wasn't until a song came on the breeze did he finally have a way of doing it.

'You make it easy, as easy as 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4,

There's only 1 thing, 2 say, 3 words, 4 you

I love you"

An evil smile formed on his bug lips.

"So the legend was true. The Keeper of the Song is here. How delightful..."

Dusk Shine

So I became an Alicorn. It was great at first. I was so excited but as Solaris and the others bowed, seeing Sabrina bow pained me. It was shocking enough for the Prince.

Solaris told me I could do my new Prince duties at home. There was a part of me that was scared to. Would ponies treat me differently because of me being Prince? Would my friends? Would Spines? Would Sabrina?

After spending three days in Canterlot, Solaris thought it would be beneficial to send me to Ponyville. I arrived via teleportation inside the library, thanks to Solaris, scaring Spines

"Dusk don't scare me like that!" She yelled.

Without thinking I hugged Spines.

"I missed all of you so much!" I told her.

"We missed you too." Spines said,

After we hugged for a minute, I heard a song coming into the library.

"It's been fourteen minutes.” This line repeated three times before Spines gasped.

“I’M LATE!” She screamed as she ran out the door. I quickly followed suit.

"Late for what?"

"Sabrina...having...party..." Spines explained. Sabrina is having a party?

Not wanting Spines to wear out, I grabbed her with my magic and began running in the direction of her house. I was still unaware of how to work my wings, so I was hoping Blitz would tell me.

"What kind of party?" I asked Spines after letting her catch her breathe.

"She said she was gonna explain some stuff about her world. So Berry called it a 'Sabrina Tells Us All About Her Home Planet' Party. I was supposed to help her set it up and I was over ten minutes late." Spines explained.

We kept walking towards her peaceful looking bungalow.

It was two stories tall, with a hoof span as long as the library. It had four windows on the front with what looked like ice for glass. As I took another step closer, the door swung open.

"Finally Spines," Rainbow said, "we've been waiting fifteen minutes!"

"Good to see you too." I told him, surprising Blitz.

"Dusk! How're those wings working out?" I was about to give an answer but was cut off.

"Blitzie is it Spines?" Came that alicorn like voice I have become so acquainted with.

"Yeah and she brought a friend." Blitz shouted back.

"Bring him in. Might as well tell him too." She exclaimed.

Rainbow shrugged his shoulders. He opened the door wider to let me and Spines in.

It was good to see Rainbow didn't start bowing to me. Elusive was a different story.

"Dusk!" Elusive shouted after bowing on his front hooves.

"I'm supposed to bow? I'm sorry." Butterscotch squealed.

"Guy, it's still me. So please no bowing." I told them. A laugh came from the kitchen.

"Dusk, I think telling Elusive not to Boston you is like telling Zecora to stop rhyming." Sabrina.

"Who's Zecora?" I heard Berry ask as I sat down on one of her couches.

Looking at Sabrina I flashed back to her bowing in front of me. That, and those weird feelings that kept appearing when I heard her voice or said her name.

Her brown mane looked even more luxurious, she must be using Elusive's shampoo, with more dazzling curls. Her multi shaded eyes never ceased to amaze me, right now they looked embarrassed.

"That brings me to what I came here to tell ya'll." Sabrina explained.

"Yes, so you were going to us about how you knew about the Elements of Harmony?" Elusive asked Sabrina. She nodded. "Then get to it please."

Sabrina walked away from her kitchen towards her living room. She held her face in her hands, looking fearful about doing this.

"Okay. So um... back where I come from there's this thing called Television..." Rainbow stopped her.

"What does that have to do with how you knew about the Elements?"

"Woulda let the girl talk Rainbow? I'm sure that she's gettin to it... Right Sabrina?" Applejack said.

"It has just about everything to do with it. May I continue?" Rainbow nodded, a little angrily. "Alright. Well television, or TV for short, is this little black box. And what it does is like moving cartoons or movies all hours of the day. Please hold all questions to the end." How did she know I was going to ask a question? "Some of the stuff is for babies and toddlers (foals), others for teens and kids. But a majority is for adults.

"Some of the kids stuff though, I'd watched by adults. Like this one for little girls? Apparently a lot of people watch it. Me a any friend were two if those people. The show was called 'My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic'." We all gasped. "There's one tiny detail that makes it different than ya'll."

"Which is?" I asked.

"Um…instead of stallions y'all are well mares."

"WHAT!" Rainbow shouted.

“Believe me when I say Blitzie that there is no difference between you two.” Sabrina explained. “Her name is Rainbow Dash, Applejack stays the same, Butterscotch is Fluttershy, Berry Bubble is Pinkie Pie, Elusive is Rarity and Dusk Shine is Twilight Sparkle. I almost forgot, Solaris is Celestia, Artemis is Luna, Spines is Spike, Sparkling Armor is Shining Armor. I’ll leave you to figure out the rest.”

“That sounds crazy.” Berry commented.

“If it’s so crazy then how come I know everything you guys have done but in mare form?” Sabrina asked him.

“I don’t know. I just said that because everypony else said it.” I facehoofed. Sabrina only laughed.

"There are some other differences. Ones that I can't think of right now." Sabrina said. "But I don't really know what happens after Twilight became an alicorn."

"You knew I would become an alicorn?!" I yelled.

"I kept having a bad sense of deju vu when you got Starswirla's journal. But I forgot the rest until Butterscotch was throwing his party. The ending was forgotten until we got Bubble back."

"Why didn't you tell us Sabrina?" Elusive asked her.

"We thought we killed Dusk!" Rainbow shouted.

"Because it would ruin the surprise for Dusk. If I explained it to you then not only would Solaris's speech been useless to you but who knows how the outcome could've changed. The worst part is now I'm stuck in the unknown. I don't know what will happen to Dusk as an alicorn! I don't know what new villain might show up! I don't know if he'll leave and we'll never see him again! I don't know!" Sabrina yelled before running off upstairs.

Her eyes filled with tears.

Sabrina

The tears wouldn't fucking stop. Why did I have to think he would die? When that mere thought filled my head any control I had crumbled. I felt like Pinkie Pie on her birthday, when she thought her friends ditched her and her hair turned flat.

My door to my room knew I would need space so it stayed shut, hopefully it was keeping whatever the stallions were saying about me out too.

I only got this depressed once before. My mom had decided to ground me during a school field trip. This wasn't the bad part. No. It was Felicia coming back with a new best friend under her arm and my boyfriend (at the time) with some skank. I didn't come out of my room for two weeks.

So, to try and get me out of my funk, Siren's Melody played a song that always brought me a smile.

'When I was a little filly and the sun was going downnnn!

The darkness and the shadows they would always make me frown

I'd hide under my pillow from what I thought I saw

But Granny Pie said that wasn't the way to deal with fears at all!

She said Pinkie you gotta stand up tall

You'll see that they can't hurt you just laugh to make them disappear!'

Believe or not it did help. Soon enough I got a smile. The song wouldn't stop playing until I managed to walk out the door. Which I probably wouldn't do.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Sabrina?" Spines asked. Thanks door for keeping the noise out. "Couldi come in?"

I was about to yell for her to go away when my stupid self thinking door created a whole large enough for her to fit.

With careful steps, I saw the purple green drakette walk in. The door refilled the whole.

"Thanks for letting me in."

"I didn't. My door thought it would beneficial for you to come and talk with me. Traitor." I told the door. Something told me if it could, it would laugh and shrug at me.

"Oh. Thanks door?" Spines asked.

I felt her clawed hand rest on my shoulder.

"Wanna talk?" I shook my head. "Okay. I'll talk." Can one of you plants just open a hole in the floor? "I think I figured something out." Woop de do! "You have a crush on Dusk don't ya?" If I was drinking I'd have spit it out.

"What makes you think that?" I asked.

"The way you reacted before you ran upstairs. You aren't any better than me at hiding it." She did have a point.

"So I have a crush on an alicorn, what can I do about it?" Spines shuttled her shoulders in response.

"I don't know. You already know how great I am at telling my crush how I feel about him. Is the show how you knew about it?" Spines asked.

"It was plain on your face when you saw him for the first time at the Summer Sun Celebration." Spines's scales turned red-violet.

"Really?" Spines asked, flustered.

"Really." I told her.

"You stopped crying." Spines said. I hated when people got my mind off things to get me to stop crying. It pissed me off. Mainly because I didn't see it.

"Yeah I guess so." I relented.

Getting up, Spines reached a claw out to me.

“You have to come down at some point Sabrina. I have a feeling that Dusk might use his magic to help with that.” I chuckled. Lauren Faust didn’t give Spike enough credit, the hatchling could be very important when he wanted to be and it probably wasn’t any different than when he was a she.

“You win but tell any of the others and I’ll freeze you so bad they’ll be more ice than dragon.” I warned her as the door opened. Happy that it had won.

I flipped him the bird when Spines wasn’t looking. I know he couldn’t see it but it made me feel better.

As I entered the living room I was instantly met with apologies. From everypony but Rainbow and Dusk. It didn’t really matter to me, a part of me knew he couldn’t stay angry at me forever. Maybe it had something to do with why he gave me that pained look as I bowed to him as a alicorn.

But like I said, didn’t matter to me. Just as long as I had my panicky, OCD having, all-nighter unicorn back. I mean alicorn.

My heart didn’t lie. Of course it didn’t, it rarely ever did. It practically jumped out of my chest and went to Dusk, no matter what I did couldn’t get it to come back intact.

The changeling guard flew up to his King with his latest report. Three days ago he was sent to patrol a small town holding those stallions responsible for their defeat all those months ago. Many Changelings were lost that day whether by imprisonment or death by starvation nopony knew.

This guard has been imponynating a light green unicorn with a white streak in his hair with a harp on his flank. So far it had been going well.

“My King, I have news. The Purple Alicorn has returned to the town, I saw him running across town with his dragon. He seemed nearly full of love for something.”

An evil chuckle was the response his king gave.

“Is this good?” The guard asked.

“Oh my dear changeling, it’s more than good. It means he would do absolutely anything to get whomever he loves back to him. Even trade himself for her place, give it a few more days and the time will be perfect.”

His laughter filled the walls of the Hive. It was the first time it happened since the Invasion.

Dusk Shine

For the next three days most of what Spines and I did was hang out with Sabrina. Every day at lunch I would come over, hang out for maybe two hours talking about what it was like fly, how she could use her power over spring and music, and finally her telling me about her home.

“My mom was always trying to get me to act more sophisticated. But it was like teaching it to Applejack.” This got a laugh out of the three of us. “During one of many classy lesson I tricked the teacher into thinking someone was playing music during class. I kept changing the direction of the sound so she was looking all over the place.” Spines started tearing up, I did too. “The best part was that during all of this I was trying to use the my song magic to turn on the Fire Alarm and when I did I also set off the sprinkler system! The teacher didn’t even know until she was completely soaked!”

After we got all the laughter out of us, Spines burped up a letter.

“I was wondering when a letter would show. Once there’s peace somehow something comes along to get ya’ll into action.” Sabrina commented as I opened the letter.

My Faithful Student Dusk Shine,

It is about Eris. She claims to have some troubling news for the Elements of Harmony. Please come to Canterlot as soon as possible.

Keep Sabrina in Ponyville. I don’t want to know what she and Eris will do once they meet.

Your Mentor,

Prince Solaris

“What’s it say Dusky?” Sabrina asked.

Wanting to avoid telling her about Eris I turned to Spines.

“Spines tell the others to meet me at the library.” With a nod, the small dragonette ran off.

“What does the letter say Dusk?” Sabrina asked a little more angrily than last time.

“Nothing that you need to worry about.” I said as carefully as possible.

“Dusk Shine you show me that letter.” Sabrina commanded.

“Orders are orders Sabrina...” Before I could explain anymore, everything but the hoof holding the letter was covered in ice.

“Orders smorders,” Sabrina said while yanking the letter from the hoof. I could tell she read it when she gasped. “Female Discord! You’re going to see a Female Discord!”

I about to ask who Discord was when I remembered the Mare Version of our lives that she liked watching back home.

“Does she really have a lion paw, goat horn and two different sized red eyes?” She asked. I couldn’t speak cause of the ice around my muzzle. “Right forgot about the ice.” Once she said that all the ice melted. I shook off all the water in my coat.

“Sabrina Solaris said you can’t go and you won’t.” I explained.

“Good luck trying. You’re talking to the girl who can bend plants to her will and nullify the air around me to make me as silent as a breeze!” Sabrina yelled as I walked towards the library.

“I can’t take you. It would disobey a direct order from the Prince.” It was then I remembered I could fly.

So I did

After losing Sabrina, I flew straight to the library. Everypony was already there waiting.

“There ya are Dusk. What took ya so long haystack?” Applejack asked.

“Sabrina. I got a letter from the Prince. He says Eris wants to talk to us about something important.” They gasped when I said Eris.

“The embodiment of Chaos?! What could she have to say to us?” Rainbow yelled.

“Maybe she needs help planning a party! *GASP* Or maybe she made more clouds out of cotton candy but she made too much and tends our help getting rid of them!” Berry cheered.

“I don’t know what she wants Rainbow but Solaris wants in Canterlot ASAP so we should get going before Sabrina remembers how to get to the Train Station. Spines I’m going to have ask you to stay here and make sure Sabrina doesn’t follow us.

“That’s going to work well.” Spines mumbled.

“We should get going. Come on.” I suggested as the six of us ran off towards the station.

Once we got far enough Elusive asked me a question.

“Do you really think Spines can keep Sabrina here?”

“Probably not for long. At most maybe two hours, three tops.” I wasn’t saying anything bad about Spines but Sabrina could do a lot of stuff so she could come after us.

But as we ran, I got a bad feeling that I should let Sabrina come with us.

After a four hour train ride we arrived in Canterlot. As fast as our hooves could care us or, for my and Blitz, our wings we headed straight to the palace. The guards let us past seeing as how I’m the new Prince and they had no reason to keep me out of the palace. Before long Sparkling found us.

“Dusk, been looking for you. The Princes want to see you in the Royal Gardens.” She explained.

“I thought you went back to the Crystal Empire with Eros?” I asked her.

“I did but Solaris said he needed my help with Eris so I came back. I still don’t like the draconequus.” Sparkling said. Giving her a nod, we all ran to the garden.

Once I entered, I was immediately greeted by Eris.

“Oh why if it isn’t the newest Equestrian Prince? So Dusk Shine, how do you like the new wings?” She asked me while floating above my head.

“Why have you called us here Eris?” I asked her.

“Please, let’s all go sit with Solaris and Artemis before getting hostil. Hearing about how you and Rainbowhead still don’t trust me is getting boring.”

“HEY!” Blitz yelled at Eris.

Elusive, Butterscotch, Berry and Applejack were trotting towards Solaris and Artemis waiting at a small table. It looked like we were having a picnic with the Embodiment of Chaos.

“My Faithful Student, thank you for coming.” Solaris greeted.

“We have to be quick. I don’t know how long Spines can hold her off.” I explained to him. He gave an understanding nod.

“Eris, mayhaps you could explain to them why they have been called here.” Artemis practically commanded at the draconequus.

“Why of course.” Eris floated over the table. She drank a glass filled with water and threw the water up in the sky. It turned into a seagull and flew off. “I’ve been feeling Chaos brewing for the four days. It hasn’t occurred yet but I can feel the anticipation for it.”

“And just what exactly do you think is going to happen? You could just be throwing us off your trail so you can create all the chaos you want!” Rainbow yelled.

“I could but I won’t. I’m reformed remember? Besides this chaos is familiar.” Eris explained.

“Familiar? What do you mean by that Eris?” Elusive asked while sipping the tea laid before him.

“I felt it while I was in stone during the wedding.” We all stopped.

“Changelings? But I thought Eros and Sparkling destroyed them?” I said, panicked.

“They blew them away with a shield.” Solaris explained. “Their numbers were hurt drastically. We have at least a hundred in the dungeon, thirty of which died during imprisonment and some scientists are running tests on them.”

“What exactly would they even try to do? The only event even worth disrupting was my coronation and I didn’t see a changeling there.” I explained.

“This is where the Chaos gets interesting. I also sensed some in Ponyville. Anything strange happen there lately?” Eris asked.

“YEAH! We got a new friend Sabrina. She can make it snow and she pulled a cool prank on us by using musi-” Applejack stuffed a hoof in Berry’s mouth.

“What did she use Berry?” Eris asked while using her chaos magic to move Applejack away from Berry.

“Music. It was really scary but when I found out it was a prank it was hilarious!” There we go. Now Eris knows about Sabrina.

“Thanks Berry, Eris wasn’t supposed to know about Sabrina!” Rainbow told him.

“That makes no sense. Why can’t she know? Do you know Eris? Eris?”

The Chaos Lord was frozen.

“Eris...” Butterscotch said.

“I guess it would make sense.” She mumbled.

“What?” I asked her.

“No she would need somepony...” Eris mumbled again.

“Have you discovered something Eris?” Solaris asked.

“Yes. Before I was turned to stone the first time, just after the first discovery of Changelings a prophet created an ancient prophecy. I don’t remember the exact words but I think it went like...

'A creature shall be born with the power of the song

She will be moved to the land under the power of the sun and the moon

An evil who feeds with love will use her power for wrong

But with her love by her side Harmony will return soon'

“I found no use for it. I wanted Chaos to stay so I forgot about it until just now.” Eris explained.

I turned to Solaris, scared of what this meant for Sabrina.

Before I could ask anything, something crashed a few yards away.

Blitz, Artemis and Eris arrived first.

“Dusk you need to see this!” Blitz yelled, somehow making me run faster.

Inside a small crater lied a cocoon just like the one Sabrina appeared in. Once Solaris, Berry, Elusive, Applejack and Butterscotch arrived it practically melted. Revealing a purple and green dragonling with a red earth pony.

“Red Gala! What are ya doing here?” Applejack yelled.

“Spines what happened!” I yelled.

“Could you help us out of here?” Spines asked.

I grabbed them both with my magic and pulled them both out of what was left of the pod. “Now tell us what happened? Where’s Sabrina.”

“Sabrina wouldn’t stay behind so we decided to have a sleepover. We invited Red Gala because Sabrina said she wanted to ‘talk to the silent farmer pony’. After about two hours...her house was attacked...” Spines gasped.

“Attacked? Attacked by what?” Rainbow asked them.

“Weird black ponies.” Red Gala explained. “Before Sabrina was grabbed by one she put us inside that green thing and shot us off.”

“Dusk,” Spines started, “Sabrina was taken by Changelings.”

Sabrina
Two hours ago. Just after the Guys Left to Canterlot.

“When I see that alicorn I’m gonna freeze him till he can’t feel his eyeballs.” I warned as Spines walked me to my bungalow or makeshift prison.

“Come on Sabrina, we can try to have some fun!” Spines yelled as my door opened for us. Sometimes I hate that parts of my house have a mind of their own.

For the first hour Spines tried to think of ways to have fun, I was thinking of ways to torture Dusk for just ditching me here. I knew my house would side at whoever wanted to keep me alive and wouldn’t let me out.

It wasn’t until a second hour was starting did I come up with anything.

“A sleepover!” I shouted suddenly.

“What?” Spines asked after she screamed.

“A sleepover. We could have a sleepover. It’s way better than calling this Home Arrest.” I said flatly.

“You do have a point. But who do we have over?” Spines asked me.

I thought about it. What stallion from My Little Pony did I know and want to invite and lived in Ponyville?

“Big Macintosh!” I thought.

“What’s the name of Applejack’s sister?” I asked Spines, not even bothering to ask why I didn’t meet her sooner.

“Red Gala. You wanna go get her?” Spines asked.

“Does a zebra rhyme, come on!” I told her as I grabbed her clawed and ran towards the door, which opened knowing I wasn’t escaping for escapings sake.

Running towards direction where I felt apples, I got ready to invite Red Gala to a Girl’s Night. I means what’s a better name to call a sleepover with a pony, human and baby dragon?

“Red Gala!” I shouted as I arrived at Sweet Apple Acres. It was only slightly larger than expected.

Soon a red version of Mare Applejack came running towards us.

“Hiya.” I greeted.

“Hey Red Gala, nice to see you. All three of you.” Spines said before face planting on the dirt. Maybe I ran a little too fast.

“So umm... Spines and I were having a sleepover at my house. I was wondering if you wanted to come?”

Gala looked down at Spines, then back up at me and then back down to Spines.

“Eeyup.” Red Gala said, sounding almost exactly like Mare Applejack or MAJ as I’m now calling her to avoid confusion on my part.

“Awesome, just get what you need and head over. I’m looking forward to it.” I said as honest as MAJ before carefully picking up Spines with a blanket of snow.

After Red Gala got to my house we started doing simple sleepover thing. Like figuring out what to have for dinner (apple pizzas sound way better than one would think), I got some music playing (scaring Red Gala at first) so we had makeshift karaoke (after those two got the lyrics right).

Artemis was preparing to set the sun and it was four hours after I had been ditched here. I had changed into the nightgown Elusive made me and rejoined the girls downstairs.

“Now for my favorite Sleepover Game. Truth or Dare.” I told them.

“I was waiting for this game to come up.” Spines said.

“Let’s let Red Gala go first, RG?” I asked as I sat down on my hammock. I would have never set foot in this house if it didn’t have a hammock.

“Alrighty then, Spines Truth or Dare?”

“Truth.” Spines said after a minute of thought.

“Do you like that fancy pony my brother always hangin’ out with?” Spines blushed.

“You have to say the truth Spines.” I reminded.

“I should’ve known that question was coming. Yes I like Elusive.” Spines said.

“Nice job Spines.” RG said.

“Spines, now you ask somebody.”

I could almost see her wheels turning with what to do with me.

“Sabrina, Truth or Dare?”

“Definitely a Dare.” Take that Spines. No asking me questions about Dusk tonight.

“I dare you to...go out on one date with Dusk.” Why didn’t I think of that?

“You like Dusk?” RG asked.

“So what if I do RG? And fine Spines. One date after he gets back. Now it’s my turn.” I told her before she could say anymore. “RG, truth or dare?”

“Truth."

“We know who Spines like,” I could see her putting the question together, “We know who I like. So RG who do you like?”

Beneath her red cheeks I could see blush.

“You have to tell the truth.” Spines reminded.

“I like Butterscotch.” She mumbled.

“Who?” I asked.

Butterscotch.” RG mumbled again.

“Couldn’t catch that one either RG.”

“Butterscotch.” She finally said.

“It’s always the quiet ones that end up together.” I said.

“Funny. Now is mine turn gain.” RG grinned.

*BOOM*

There was silence for a minute.

“What was that?” RG asked.

“I don’t know. You two stay here.” I commanded after carefully going to the back door. “Door you better open or I will rip you off the vines holding you to the wall.”

I took a careful step outside, using my song magic to try and find anything. What was really strange was I heard that Jesse McCartney song.

“I don’t want your love to go to waste. I want you and your beautiful soul.”

Preparing an ice spell to get rid of this thing, I was ambushed by black ponies with holes.

‘Changelings’

“RG SPINES RUN!” I screamed as loud as I could. They walked outside to see the Changelings.

“What are those thangs!” RG screamed.

Not knowing what else to do, I used my plant magic and the back door to wrap around them and my Autumn magic to blast them off.

Just in time too because as they left the ground two of those changelings jumped on me.

“The King will be pleased to see you Human.”

“I’m sorry Dusk.” I thought as my world went black.

Sabrina

This is officially the worst day of my life. After finally waking up, I found my hands bound by some weird green slime that I can’t freeze, my head screaming pain and a green aura surrounding me. Knowing that Changelings could take any form they wanted didn’t help me. If I could even escape they could turn into one of the stallions so they could take me back.

They dragged me around for the whole night until we arrived at some big black mountain. It looked like the kind of place where you take one look and go ‘Yep. If there was a place where is clear I was going to die it was here.’. Needless to say I did not want to go in there.

These stupid bugs dragged me right into it’s center.

First thing I saw was male Chrysalis, maybe a better description would be a Changeling Shining Armor.

“I see you brought the Keeper of Music.” This creep said.

“Yes my King. She has been quite a fighter.” Said the guard who had been holding me in his magical grasp the entire hike.

My body filled with anger. I fought with all my might to get out of this grasp and squish the little bug.

“I see.” Bug Lord said. “You can let her go now.” And just like that I landed on the hard floors of the Hive.

I immediately sent something out to Dusk,

”Hurry up and save me. Hurry up and save me.” My Song Messaging system sent it right out to him. If he didn’t know that I was missing now, he was going to find out.

“Who are you? I want to know who I’m gonna freeze to death.” I told the Changeling King.

“King Morphosis. And good luck completing that little plan.” He laughed,

“I know I will. Also, sometime in the next day my friends will show up and beat the love out of you Changeling.” His green snake eyes widened.

“You know what I am?”

“Eeyup. I also know how great your last plan for taking over Equestria went.” I said, locking eyes with his.

“How?” He asked me.

“That doesn’t matter. All that does is I know this plan will work even less because this time everypony knows it was you that took me.” I felt like I was gloating. Naw, if I was I would be telling him what I would’ve done.

“Is there any proof that my plan will fail this time? I’ve heard a legend from my ancestors that says you will help me take over Equestria?” He asked me.

“Yeah, probably. Somewhere.” I said, so entirely sure about it.

Morphosis let out an evil laugh.

“Take her to her cell. I’m sure that she’ll love it.” Morphosis commanded his drones. I really wish my hands weren’t bound.

As I was dragged off to my cell, once again in this stupid green aura thing, I thought of what Dusk and the others would be going through once they got my message. Unless Spines got there first and told them, that and the pod didn’t crash too terribly and get them hurt.

Dusk Shine

My mind kept going through all the things that could go wrong. Morphosis was probably doing horrible things to Sabrina to try and get revenge against Eros and me. Maybe he’s planning on using her to take over!

Red Gala and Spines had been checked out after they landed. Both were free of any physical harm. Both of them explained what happened. Basically they were having a sleepover when they heard a noise outside, Sabrina went outside and yelled for them to run. Trying to see what their friend was fighting they went outside and saw the changelings. Before they could get attacked Sabrina trapped them inside the pod and they were shot off towards Canterlot.

So for the rest of the day we tried to follow a kind of trail but the Changelings were too good and got rid of their tracks. When we got back to Canterlot we got just as much from Eris.

It wasn’t until sunrise and a fitful night of sleep did we get anything.

“Hurry up and save me. Hurry up and save me.” The song filled the throne room.

“What was that?!” Rainbow yelled.

“Sabrina.” I said. “She must’ve used the same magic she did when she met Solaris and Artemis. She’s alive.” This made all of us feel much better.

“So how exactly are we going to find her?” Spines asked. Solaris answered.

“We could try using magic to find her but the changelings probably already have her at their Hive. Morphosis must be behind it and could be using the prophecy against us. We could call Eros over from the Crystal Empire to help. Sparkling isn’t assigned to leave for another few hours so I suppose we could ask her to stay a little longer. Brother what do you think?” Artemis had barely done anything when I was awake. Mostly because he had to make sure no other changelings were spotted around Ponyville of Canterlot.

“We-err I have been trying to find Sabrina’s dream but is seems they are left empty to me or she was awake whenever I checked. I have also tried to find out how long it would take for all of us to get the Hive by trot is three days. By my calculations.”

“So let’s get going. Who knows what those black bugs are doing to Sabrina!” Rainbow cheered.

“We don’t know how to get there Rainbow.” Applejack said. “And I have stay with Red Gala, she don scared one of them Changelings is gonna come back.”

“Maybe if we head off in the right direction we’ll find it!” Berry offered.

“We might end up walking away from the Hive.” I told him.

“It was worth a shot.” Berry said, his demeanor never changing.

No matter how long it took. I was going to get Sabrina back. Even if I had to go muzzle to muzzle against Morphosis, I would get her back.

Sabrina

Let it never be said that I was a Pinkie Pie person. Being trapped inside a basic Fort Knox with only a few changelings for me to yell at was getting tiresome. This King Morphosis guy was either gloating about his stupid plan of waiting for Dusk and the others to show up and take me to Ponyville. I made sure to go over some basic defense I took back on Earth, I also thought of what Morphosis might be doing to try and earn my trust.

He could turn,of phase or whatever it is they call it, into Dusk to help me escape only to trick me with the same spell he used on the bridemaids on the show. He could make it look like they have the others captive and let me give myself up in their place. The list goes on but my fresh air deprived mind couldn't find them.

So for just about the third time that day, I was playing some song with my magic headphones.

"I know they say you can't go home again, I just had to come back one last time.

Ma'am I know that you don't know me from Adam, but handprints on the front steps are mine." I sang.

"Up those stairs, in that little back bedroom

Is where I did my homework and learned to play guitar.

And I bet you didn't know under the white oak

My favorite dog is buried in the yard." I got up from the cot and started pacing around the room.

"I thought if I could touch this place I'd feel it

This brokeness inside me might start healin'

Out here it's like I'm someone else

I thought that maybe I could find my self.

If I could just come in I swear I'll leave, won't take nothing but a memory

From the house that built me." I heard hoof knocking by the door.

"For the last time you stupid bug I'm not...oh. Hi." I said stupidly as I saw it wasn't a Changeling but a mare. She was in a cell across from mine.

The cells were like weird little bedrooms, small dirt covered cots with shoebox sized windows with bars to let me know what time it was. There was a door at the left end of my square cell with a window two shoeboxes wide with a tic-tac-toe bar design. Apparently the cells were right across from each other. Everything else was unseeable by me.

"Nice voice." The mare said. She had an all white coat like Elusive with a flowing black mane the same color as these stupid walls. Her eyes were the same color as Dusk's...

Focus Sabrina, no time to go all teenager I mentally scolded.

A white horn poked out of the black mane. The mare was probably standing on her hind legs just to be able to look out the window. I was having to slouch a little. What was really embarrasing about all of this was I was still in my nightgown and those black bastards wouldn't give me anything to change into. From the lack of plant I can't create anything either.

Her hoofs looked a little thin as she used them to hold herself up. It also had patches of dirt here and there.

"I get that a lot."

"You're not a pony." She said, shocked. I was wondering when she would notice.

"You are correct. My name is Sabrina and I've been here for what is basically two hours. You?" I asked her.

"Marija Gemheart." Wow. And they say I have a weird name.

"Nice to me you Gemheart. How long you been locked up?" I asked, not entirely knowing how to pronounce her name.

"Three Months, I think. A changeling grabbed me while I was hiking, next thing I know I'm stuck in this place." Gemheart explained.

"What's your cutiemark?" I asked,

"A red ruby in the shape of a heart. I got it when I found a gem looking exactly like it while hiking a while back. It means I have a big heart and I can always give some to others." Sappy, I like it.

"That literally made you a walkihg buffet for these things." I joked, she gave a small laugh too.

"Yeah. So how did a human end up in Equestria?" She asked me.

"My mom was Leader of our coven back home. She sent me here a little after Hearth's Warming. I was staying in Ponyville with Dusk Shine and the other Bearers of Harmony. I was having a sleepover with two friends in town while the Mane 6 went to Canterlot. I ended up being some pawn in a revenge scheme. And if that black chameleon wants me to help him? He's got another thing coming!" I nearly yelled.

"You know the Bearers?" Gemheart asked me.

"Know them? A lot of people where I'm from know about-." Shutting up now. The last thing I needed was for other ponies to know about the show. Maybe I could pull a Shawn Spencer with Morphosis and make them think I could see the future and saw the whole Wedding.

I always wanted to do that. Now I finally have the chance.

"What do you mean 'a lot of people where you're from know about them'?"

"I didn't say that last part." I corrected.

"But you were going to." Dang this mare was good.

"It's a long story. But believe me when I say when I met them I wasn't expecting it."

"What? The Bearers of Harmony?"

"Ponies. Walking, talking, technicolor ponies who can fly or use magic." A pause. "Why haven't you used your magic to escape?" Gemheart started to look sad.

"Because the changelings are draining me. Whenever I became strong enough to use a spell a changeling appears and drains me of my love and energy. I've been waiting for the chance where I can use my magic to go back home to my family." I think I saw a tear fall down her cheek.

"What's your family like?" I asked her. "I've got until King Bug comes back." She giggled, and then got to explaining.

"I have two parents, a brother and sister, a coltfriend who probably thinks that I'm dead..."

"Changelings can change form so whichever one took you is probably assuming your indentity, family and everything to your name." I explained. Did I just do that? Did I just correct someone while they were explaing something! Oh my God I'm turning into my mother. "Sorry, don't know what happened back there. Please, go on."

"Uh...okay." She eyed me warily with her Dusk Shine colored eyes. Dusk Shine. I hope he's alright. He's probably thinking this was his fault.

Because it was because of him that Morphosis targeted me. He's probably freaking out, his mane getting all crazy. Pupils shrinking to cartoon size. He's so cute when he freaks out.

"-rina? Sabrina?" Gemheart calling my name snapped me out of it. "You zoned and got this giddy look on your face. What was that?" She asked me.

"Nothing, just thinking about how my friends are handling it." My mind went back to Dusk.

"You got 'The Look'." Gemheart said, laughing.

"What're you laughin' at?" I asked her in an almost 'Pinkie Pie during the Discord episodes' voice.

"My friends told me I got the same look when I thought about my coltfriend." Crap. "So who's the stallion?" Was I really as bad as Spike at hiding my feelings for people?

I knew the mumbling technique usually only worked for Fluttershy or Butterscotch, so I just went and said it.

"Dusk Shine." I rested my head on the bars. "I'm thinking about Dusk Shine."

"The Element of Magic?" Gemheart asked, shocked.

"Yeah. He was the sixth stallion I met. He just has this air about that, I don't know, feels right." What just happened? I felt my cheeks redden.

"No matter what I did he couldn't stay mad at me, even when I pulled what I thought to be the Best Prank Ever on him and his friends at the palace. I knew he was trying to be mad but he just couldn't do it." A song came into my mind. One that I was sure would help Gemheart.

I knew if I escaped that the bugs would come tenfold after me. Gemheart would just go and the changelings would just shrug their shoulders.

"Gemheart, if I can't get to Dusk Shine then I'm gonna make sure you get to yours."

"Breakout, Breakout.

You know I look good in stripes, take my picture with my number

But the jailhouse ain't my type I can't stand it any longer."

As I sang I heard Gemheart gasp and run to the back of her cell.

"The walls, their breaking!" She told me.

"Oh baby, I gotta breakout. Oh baby I gotta breakout

Jail break, sweet escape, let's bust the walls down. *clap* *clap* Jail break sweet escape.

Get off the ground"

"I don't know what you're doing but I like it!" Gemheart cheered.

"Chains can't hold me. Two three four I'll be out the door.

Breakout! Gotta breakout! Breakout! Gotta breakout!

Tip toe slowly. When all lights out gonna hit the floor.

Breakout! Gotta breakout! Breakout! Gotta breakout!"

I stopped the song and saw Gemheart smiling at me.

"The hole, it's big enough for me to fit. Thank you! Thank you!" She cheered.

"If you run into a purple unicorn stallion, tell him that I'll be there soon." She waved goodbye and ran away.

I got back to singing because I knew at least one guard would see her, this song would make it easier for her to escape. Sometimes, when I sing, the lyrics do what I want them to. Like once I sang someone into being my servant for an afternoon, this song I used for various late night parties and such. A couple times I used to embarass the Pops at my old school.

Hopefully when the song ends she'll be at a far enough distance to escape. To give my message to Dusk.

I also felt the smallest hint of nature outside the hole inside her cell, that and it was slowly closing. Quickly reaching out I brought the vine into her cell then snaked it over to mine.

TIme for a costume change.

Dusk Shine

After another hour of debate, and help from Artemis, the eight of us began the trek to the Changeling Hive. Red Gala refused to calm down, so Applejack decided just to take her with us, telling her she'd get to buck the changeling's in the face. Spines also decided to come, saying she was a friend of Sabrina's and wanted to help her anyway she could.

It didn't entirely matter who we brought, so long as we saved Sabrina in the end.

Solaris said he had matters to deal with in Canterlot but that Eros would meet us along the way and Sparkling would be with him. Which was good because if we wanted to defeat Morphosis we would need to use their magic against him.

As I lead the group with the map Artemis made for us, I was thinking of what Morphosis could be planning. Based on what Eris told us Sabrina is at the heart of it all. She probably doesn't even know about the prophecy so the possibility that she was expecting the changelings is out of there.

Remembering the show she told us about, maybe she already knows about them. She probably just knows them differently. I can't even imagine Morphosis as a mare. Sabrina is probably freaking out too, she wasn't expecting changelings. Why couldn't we just get some other sign that she was okay.

"I know they say you can't go home again, I just had to come back one last time.

Ma'am I know that you don't know me from Adam, but handprints on the front steps are mine.

Up those stairs, in that little back bedroom

Is where I did my homework and learned to play guitar.

And I bet you didn't know under the white oak

My favorite dog is buried in the yard.

I thought if I could touch this place I'd feel it

This brokeness inside me might start healin'

Out here it's like I'm someone else

I thought that maybe I could find my self.

If I could just come in I swear I'll leave, won't take nothing but a memory

From the house that built me."

This song somehow brought up the spirits of everypony, minus Berry who never stopped bouncing the whole way out here, at least we knew Sabrina was alive.

"So how much longer until we get to this Hive, Dusk?" Rainbow asked me. I took a look at the map.

"Two days, if we take a short night stop and no surprises." I explained to him. "We'll find Sabrina guys, that song is proof she's still alive so if we just hold tight we'll be just fine."

The others nodded and we kept walking. About two minutes later we ehard another song.

"Breakout, Breakout.

You know I look good in stripes, take my picture with my number

But the jailhouse ain't my type I can't stand it any longer.

Oh baby, I gotta breakout. Oh baby I gotta breakout

Jail break, sweet escape, let's bust the walls down. *clap* *clap* Jail break sweet escape.

Get off the ground

Chains can't hold me. Two three four I'll be out the door.

Breakout! Gotta breakout! Breakout! Gotta breakout!

Tip toe slowly. When all lights out gonna hit the floor.

Breakout! Gotta breakout! Breakout! Gotta breakout!"

"Is that a good thang?" Applejack asked.

"It could very well be Applejack. Pardon if I'm incorrect but some of those words sounded like Sabrina had escaped." Elusive cheered.

"I don't know, maybe it was a trick by King Morphosis." Rainbow said.

"Sabrina would've left some clue in the song if that was true. She probably has escaped but we should still be heading towards the Hive in case she needs help." I explained.

"Yeah! And we need to smack that big King Meanie for taking Sabrina in the first place!" Berry yelled.

Filled with hope, I ran in the direction of the the music. The others following as best they could.

Now I was that much closer to finding Sabrina.

Sabrina

After changing into something more suitable for fighting and not a nightgown I thought it would be good to get rest, that and I fell ontop of the cot soon after changing.

My dream world was cool. Most of it was me singing on a stage.

“Hey boy got me on my tiptoes!

Don’t stop! Kiss me and away we’ll go

Woah, oh, woah, oh

Can’t shake it too elevated

Take me any way the winds blows

Don’t stop! Love the way you make me float

Right up off my tiptoes!”

“Twas a marvelous performance.” Came a voice behind me, making me stop.

Suddenly the dreamscape changed. Making it just space, lots and lots of space.

“Artemis? What are you doing here?” I asked him while trying to move towards him in this space. I also remembered the episode where Scootaloo was having bad nightmares and Luna showed up. “Nevermind.”

The black alicorn laughed.

“Good to see being a captive hasn’t changed thou’s demeanor.” Artemis joked.

“Please, no bug is gonna change this.” I gestured to all of me. “Into anything else.”

Artemis nodded. I remembered another alicorn.

“Dusk. Is he alright? Is he making some big plan to rescue me?” I asked, worry in my voice. I saw the Canterlot episode and they got creamed by the Changelings. If they just ran in here guns blazing he could get hurt.

I mean they, they could get hurt.

“He is. In fact he is already on his way.” Crap.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea. Morphosis has something planned and I have this terrible feeling that it involves Dusk. If he rushes in here with the Elements Morphosis could just trap them in the same thing he used to trap Solaris during the wedding. I’m pretty sure Sparkling and whatever the hell Cadence is called here won’t be able to stop them in time.” I explained.

“You hath given this deep thought.” Artemis said, eyeing my funny.

“Being dragged across the Everfree and into a cell made out of carapace gives a girl time to think.” I joked. “You need to explain to the others that-”

The interruption was caused by somebug shaking me.

“Crap, Artemis I’m about to wake up!” I yelled as the world began to fade and consciousness tried to get at me.

“I shall tell the others you are alright.” Artemis said.

Then my dreamworld became black

“The King demands your presence.” I slowly got up, making sure to kick a changeling as I did.

“Oops, sorry. Didn’t see you there.” I lied. The bugs seemed to notice my change of clothes.

The small vine did a lot once I used magic on it. I stretched it out to create a nice tank top with spaghetti straps holding it up. Hollowed parts of it out so as to make some forest green capris that spread to my knees. The tank had sleeves that stretched out towards my wrists with little flower petals going out like ruffles.

All in all it was pretty good. For something not actually made out of cloth.

"The King says you shall move now." The bug demanded.

"If you say so." I said, not totally caring about.

My hands were left without the cuffs, because I couldn't escape any other way. The five changelings guided me back the same path I was on the day before.

My mind wandered towards Marija Gemheart. Wondering if she ever made it to Dusk. If she escaped without a changeling catching her. If they're safe inside the Everfree. I've seen just about every episode of MLP, every time they went into the Everfree it ended badly.

Before long I found myself being pushed to the floor. In front of King Morphosis.

"Hello Keeper." Morphosis greeted. Grinning his sharp and pointy teeth at me.

"What about no don't you get?

So go and tell your friends

I'm not really interested." I sang.

"Very clever." Morphosis grinned.

"In case you couldn't tell my answer is still no. There is no way in hell that I'm helping you take over Equestria." I told him. This was the third time he had asked me.

"I was going to say nice outfit." I rolled my eyes.

"Maybe, but after you were going to ask me to help. My answer is no." I repeated.

Morphosis gazed his weird blue-green snake eyes at me. Sent a chill up my spine.

I hate getting chills up my spine.

"Well, if you won't say yes... maybe I could lend a hoof."

My head felt funny. Like it was being placed behind some cloak or a blanket. I think something like this happened before but to the bridesmaids

My mind wasn't mine anymore but it made one last act before turning into a mindcontrolled zombie.

Dusk Shine

We had finally gotten with reach of the Hive when Artemis alerted us about Sabrina. She was fine, a little shaken but fine. Sabrina told Artemis that she had seen what happened at the wedding (female version of course) and said to run.

Artemis also wanted to tell me something in private.

He looked deep inside her dreams, plus the look in her eyes, and found she cared deeply for me. Sabrina had figured I wouldn't make it out a whole.

I explained to Artemis I would get Sabrina out no matter what.

Artemis only smilied.

We had gotten four trots closer when we heard something.

"Come little children, I'll take thee away

Into a land of enchantment

Come little children the times come to play

Here in my garden of shadows…"

When I tried to figure out what it was, I saw each of my friends had clouded eyes, even Prince Artemis.

"Guys are you okay?" I asked them. They began walking towards the Hive.

What was even weirder was that no changeling guards attacked.

"Follow sweet children, I'll show thee the way

Thru all the pain and the sorrows

Weep not poor children, for life is this way

Murderering beauty and passions..."

Staying close behind, I made sure none of them got hurt. The music was guiding them like a moth to a flame.

Sabrina.

They finally arrived in what looked like a throne room. I watched from a window up high. Changelings stood on the opposite side of the room. One caught my attention.

Morphosis.

"Welcome to the Hive ponies!" He yelled. "It seems we are missing a few Alicorns."

"All of them should've heard it. Unless Dusk Shine and Prince D’amore Temporus weren't within range." Sabrina? What was she doing?

It looked like the others were slowly coming out of whatever spell them were under.

"What happened?" Applejack asked.

"We must have been ambushed." Artemis explained.

"More like brainwashed." Sabrina.

"Sabrina, we need to run!" Rainbow Blitz said. He flew up in the air but fell just as fast..

Sabrina had hit him with lightning.

"My spring powers have control over lightning. Delightful isn't it?"

"What are you doing?!" Butterscotch yelled.

"Oh that's the best part! She doesn't know do you Sabrina?" Morphosis asked. Then I noticed her eyes.

They looked liked the groomstallion's eyes in the caverns below Canterlot.

"Of course I don't King Morphosis." Sabrina answered almost automatically.

"Sabrina?" Berry asked her. Not even believing it.

"Take them to the dungeons. Sabrina you go find Dusk and keep him and that pink alicorn from ruining my plans." Morphosis ordered as changelings dragged my friends off. "Ponies, try escaping and I'll take it out on Sabrina here."

No! Not Sabrina! She was a fighter! She had to get out of this!

I flew down to the ground, broken hearted that Morphosis had hurt Sabrina.

He would pay for this.

The Great King took me from the Hive shortly after the drones took the prisoners away. We still had to deal with that purple and pink alicorn. Something about them set alarms off in my head.

'It's not your head.' A voice reminded me. 'It's mine you fucking bug lover. And if you so much lay one finger on my Dusk I'll kill you!'

I didn't know much about this voice. All I knew was that it sounded like me and was on the ponies' side.

Coming close to the town known as Ponyville, I prepared the spell the King asked me to use.

'I can see what's happening

And they don't have a clue

They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line

Our trio's down to two!

Ze sweet caress of twilight

There's magic everywhere

And with all this romantic atmosphere

Disaster's in the air!'

I gave a nod to King Morphosis, telling him to send the changelings off into the town.

Once I began to feel the magic of the song dwindle I continued.

'Can you feel the love tonight?

The peace the evening brings

The world, for once, in perfect harmony

With all it's living things'

Ponies would've screamed if there wasn't so much love in them thanks to my magic. I walked in the streets, staring all those blissful faces as the changelings sucked love out of them.

The magic on the town would last as long as it was needed, or a week. Whichever came first.

'My friends. The Cakes. Mayor. Lilitha Bunny. All of them. Why are you doing this to them?' The voice cried. 'The Crusaders! Take me to the Crusaders!'

Wondering who this voice was talking about, I walked over to a big purple house. Keeping the song magic going.
Inside were three colts; a yellow earth pony, orange pegasus and whites unicorn.

"Sabrina! It's you!" Cried the white one.

"It's changelings! Them's all over even at Sweet Apple Acres!" The earth pony explained.

I felt something grab my leg. Looking down I saw it was the white unicorn.

"We need help Sabrina, please help us." He cried.

'Silver, I'm trying my best to fight her. But Morphosis is too strong.' The voice said. 'Please do what you want with me but leave these colts alone. They're innocent!'

I was about to agree with this voice when I felt something stabbing my brain.

"Sabrina!" The colts yelled.

I looked up at them.

"Sorry kiddies. Sabrina is out for the holidays. Could I take a message?" I said cruelly.

"No. Not Sabrina." The pegasus denied. The colts soon hid up the stairs of the home.

"Come here little colts. I promise that if you come peacefully I can make sure to give you a nice little cell at the Hive. I'm sure the Elements and your Prince of the Night will be glad to see you." I yelled for them.

'You rotten bitch!' The voice yelled. 'Colts run!'

"They can't hear you. Nopony can hear you."

I could feel the voice crying inside me. Nearly stopping the magic I was using on the town.

After some more chasing, I found the unicorn and grabbed him by the neck.

"Scream, let your friends come and save you." I commanded him.

"Apple Buck! Scooteroll!" The colt cried.

The two colts came out, I used a lullabye on all three of them. Knocking them out cold.

Wrapping them in cocoons I floated them towards King Morphosis, bowing in his presence.

"My King. I have found whom I believe to be the young siblings of two Elements of Harmony, Honesty and Generosity. The third is close with another, Loyalty." Slowly, I placed the cocoons on the dirt.

'What have I done? If I didn't ask to see them, they would be safe.'

"Good job Sabrina. Let's take to the Hive."

It felt good to please the King.

'Spines, Red Gala, Artemis, all the Bearers and now the CMC. I did this to them. For what? So a bug could have a full stomach."

I created a leaf surfboard and began trailing the King with the three cocoons in tow.

"He is our King. Whoever you are should feel grateful that he lets us do his bidding." I said out loud.

'But at what cost! We've lost our friends! The only family we had left hates us! Morphosis will use us til you're dry and toss you like a murder weapon.'

"My King can treat me as he sees fit." I explained.

'Even if he sees fit to kill you? What then hot shot? You may be mind controlled but even you are scared of death.' I gulped, but kept my facd emotionless. 'You don't want to die. I don't want to die alone with my friends hating my guts. Maybe even have Bubbly throw a party because I'm gone.'

"You have friends?" I asked the voice.

'I'm going to let that insult slide.' The voice said angrily. 'And I had the best friends any pony can hope for. A baby dragon. A god of the stars. Six ponies who risked their lives to save me. And a bookworm who is lost out there, not
knowing that I'm still in here. Or that I have a HUGE crush on him.'

"Wow. Those friends sound nice." I told her.

'The key word was had. I had friends before you came along.' The voice told me.

"Why are you blaming me for your problems?"

'Are you dunce!? I AM YOU! YOU ARE ME! I WAS THE YOU BEFORE MORPHOSIS! YOU ARE JUST A MESS HE ISN'T GOING TO CLEAN UP!'

"That isn't true." I told her.

'Then why are you talking to yourself?'

Her words hurt me it's true. I guess I knew at one point I would no longer be needed. That I would be thrown out. But I hope it will be a long time until that day comes.

'Dusk Shine. I'm sorry.' the voice cried as I felt more sadness come from her.

Dusk Shine

I hid behind the bushes as another Changeling guard walked by. A while ago I had noticed Morphosis leave and he took Sabrina with him, most likely to begin his terrible plan.

I was also beginning to get worried about Eros and Sparkling Armor. They should’ve been here awhile ago. Yet, at the same time I didn’t want them to come. As to keep them safe.

This wasn’t the whole truth. I was mostly worried about Sabrina. What had Morphosis done to her? From the time we spent together I knew she was more loyal than Rainbow Blitz, even on one of her not so good days. The mind control was most likely stronger than for the groomstallions but I had no real know of knowing.

For Solaris’ sake I couldn’t think straight! I need to try and get the others out too. Maybe I could fix Sabrina first, then we could get the others. I wanted to make sure she was safe first, but they’re my friends so why am I prioritizing her over them?

Ugh! Why did everything have to be so complicated when it came to Sabrina?! I knew I liked her but, it just seems like a little weird. Is there a book somewhere on this? I mean, she’s not a pony.

‘Note to self: Never joke about Spines’ crush on Elusive.’

Sensing a magical presence, I ducked behind the bush. I heard some strange whooshing sounds and a big thud.

“Perfect, just fucking perfect! Not only did I pick the wrong leyline again I ended up in the Badlands! Someone needs to label those fucking things!” A voice yelled. Looking over the bush a saw a creature looking just like Sabrina.

Her hair was black instead of brown. She was wearing some sparkling silver clothing with dark blue cloth over her legs.

“I might as well see which one I ended up in. Hello?” The creature asked. Her eyes locked on mine. “Son of a bitch. Are you kidding me?! It’s not just the Badlands it’s the freakin’ genderswapped Badlands! Oh that’s so much better.” She groaned. “Umm...Dusk Shine?”

“H-h-how did you know my name?” I asked her. She laughed.

“I got it right? Wow, Lila is gonna be laughing her ass off when I get back home.” She said. “Wait a second, what are you doing in the Badlands?”

“Me? How did you get into Equestria?” I asked her.

“Ah, something’s telling me that you’re no different than my Twilight Sparkle. She was pissed at me when she first saw me like this,” She gestured to all of her, “About five years ago I discovered I could, I guess, jump into over dimensions. That’s literally the best explanation I can give about it. But I also thought I was alone until two hours ago when one of my own bashed my head in.” My eyes widened. “I woke up tied to a chair with a gun (similar to a magical blast only made of metal and about 67% of the time in my case kills) to my back. This girl saved me, Lila, the daughter of the guy that tied me to the chair. I was trying to get to Equestria because your female self did something stupid and I was the one forced to fix her mess. I keep missing. Your turn.” I stared at her for a little bit, “Oh, crap, I forgot, my name is Morgan Spencer. I should really start with that.” The girl facepalmed.

After the shock of what she just said passed, I started.

“A human came into Equestria a month ago, Sabrina Goldenheart. She was abducted by Changelings a couple days ago. The brainwashed her and are using her magic to try and take over Equestria.” A bright flash filled my eyes. “What was that?” I asked.

“My camera phone. Who knows when I’ll see another male Twilight. I needed proof to show her that you existed and to laugh later.” Morgan explained. “What’s that behind you?”

Giving her a confused look, I turned around and saw a small green leaf box.

“Sabrina!” I almost yelled, picking up the box.

“Open it.” Morgan praticaly ordered.

“Why should I listen to you again?” I asked her.

“Because if this Sabrina you talked about had magic that Changelings wanted then she probably left you something to help her get back to her old self. Inside that box.” Morgan pointed right at the box, to exaggerate her point. “And if you don’t I will.”

Not entirely wanting her to, I opened the box with my magic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EPgRfe4SCU

“What’s this?” I asked.

“Wow, this chick can you Music Magic? Awesome. This song is pretty good too.” I turned to the girl.

“You know this song?” I closed the box, shocked to hear someone else understand Sabrina's magic.

“Duh, open the box again.” She commanded.

The music began playing again and the girl began singing with it.

“There’s a place that I know

It's not pretty there and few have ever gone

If I show it to you now

Will it make you run away

Or will you stay

Even if it hurts

Even if I try to push you out

Will you return?

And remind me who I really am

Please remind me who I really am...” The music faded away after that. I closed the box.

“Okay, so what does that mean?” I asked her. She looked like she gave it deep thought.

“Well, I’m pretty sure Kelly wasn’t using it for this purpose but I think Sabrina knew a way to get herself out of the mind control but couldn’t do it herself because of the whole ‘Her body isn’t her’s,’ so she left this box for you to try and help her figure it out. Basically a really big puzzle. She gave you the pieces, you just need to put them together. Try opening the box again.”

Catching on to her theory, I did and this time a different song played out but again it left out all the words. (Author’s Note- The link plays a lyrics version of the song. Pretend it’s karoake.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeYGT-4RX1I

“Dude, you are going to have so much fun later.” Morgan grinned. “I need to try and get back home. Just play this song in front of her and this Sabrina chick should come right back to normal.”

“What do you mean ‘this Sabrina chick’?” I asked harshly.

“Oh, this is so much better. Male Twilight has a crush on a human. Twilight is gonna be so mad hearing that.”

“What makes you think I have a crush on Sabrina?” I asked defensively.

“Because you never mentioned where the others were.” Drat, she had a point. “Later Dusky.” The girl said as a portal appeared beneath, dropping herself into it. Disappearing when she did.

This was my first step to getting Sabrina back. And the others too, can’t forget about them.

Sabrina

Waiting for the King in my old cell room was becoming boring. My cot was becoming more and more stale with every passing second. A part of me desired the fresh air of the outside, like it thrived on it.

Then the headache.

Whenever these headaches come, it feels like a part of is slowly dying.

‘Yeah,*cough* *cough* It’s me. *cough*!’

There it was. That voice. She is always talking to me. Sometimes about how she is a more human version of myself, sometimes about that Dusk Shine and the rest was just her complaining.

“Maybe it would be good if you disappeared.” I said out loud.

‘You know, if I go the magic does too right?’

“What are you going on about now?” I asked her, annoyed that she kept coming back.

‘And I’m just so happy to share a body with you’ Obvious sarcasm. ‘I’m the one who knows all the songs, I’m the one who can control the four seasons. What can you do? Oh that’s right! You help a King of Bugs hurt my friends so he can suck love out of them!’

“Will you ever shut up?” I asked.

‘Will you ever leave my body?’

“It was mine to begin with.”

‘Tell me what happened on April 12, 1996.’

“Oh, I remember that day. It was the day...um...the day that...just shut up!” I told her.

‘Wow. How sad is it that you forgot your own birthday? I find that very depressing.’

Birthday? Huh, April 12th. Isn’t that...

‘In three days. We’ll be turning eighteen. I was hoping to have a Berry Bubble Bash for the third biggest birthday a teenager can have. But no, I’m stuck sharing a body with a person trying to disguise herself as a bug.’ Was she talking to herself. ‘I really hope Dusk hurries up with the escape.’

I stared out of the small window again as the Voice talked on and on. Wondering if what she was saying was true.

If we were the same person, then that means someone wants her to get out. Dusk Shine... the name rang a bell.

Crud. He was the newly Crowned Prince of Magic. I’m sharing a body with his girlfriend.

‘We’re aren’t dating you idiot. Wait...did I just call myself an idiot? I have very low self esteem.’

Lying back down on the cot, I thought about what the King would be planning next.

Dusk Shine

After that other human left, I began to wonder how the little box that was now only playing that same song would help me get Sabrina back. I was also trying to find the cell holding the others,

it was easier said than done.

“...but thats four evers. Which means we’ll be here FOREVER!”

Berry!

“Guys?” I asked.

“Dusk?” A blue head poked out from the bars. “Guys, it’s Dusk.” Hearing the others run towards the window, I joined them.

“It’s so good to see you guys are alright.

“How did you not get hit by that weird song thing?” Rainbow Blitz asked.

"I don't know. I'll try to figure it out once we get out."

“Dusk we can’t do that!” Butterscotch warned. “Morphosis said if we tried he would take it out on Sabrina.”

Right, almost forgot about that.

“Maybe if she got out first! Then we could just run off without having to hurt her!” Bery cheered.

“But she’s under Morphosis’ mind control. She’ll be fighting us the whole way back to Ponyville.” I reasoned.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIUw4ZS1J_A

“I'm staring out into the night,

Trying to hide the pain.

I'm going to the place where love

And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.

And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.”

“Was that...?” Elusive began.

“Shh! It’s startin’ agin.” Applejack hushed.

“I'm going home,

Back to the place where I belong,

And where your love has always been enough for me.”

Slowly following the song, I went in the direction as it got louder. Closer to Sabrina.

“I'm not running from.

No, I think you got me all wrong.

I don't regret this life I chose for me.

But these places and these faces are getting old

So I'm going home.

Well I'm going home.”

There it was! Her window! Flying up to it I saw Sabrina lying across a small cot.

“The miles are getting longer, it seems,

The closer I get to you.

I've not always been the best man or friend for you.

But your love, remains true.

And I don't know why.

You always seem to give me another try.”

I gave the bars a knock, stopping the music abruptly and causing Sabrina to jump up.

“You! What are you doing here?” She asked me.

“Sabrina it’s Dusk Shine. came here to help you escape.” I explained to her.

“Yeah right, I’m the one that turned all of your friends into the King. Why would you want to help me?” She spat.

I remembered she was being controlled.

“Just play this song in front of her and this Sabrina chick should come right back to normal.”

Grabbing the box and opening it, I placed on the windowsill and waited.

Sabrina

‘HE FIGURED IT OUT! DUSK FIGURED IT OUT!’ The voice screamed.

Grabbing my ear from the pain of hearing her scream, I listened to the music playing from the box.

‘Sing along!’ The voice demanded. ‘She’s cold and she’s cruel but she’s knows what she’s doin’. She pushed me in the pool at our last school reunion.’

Wanting her to shut up. I sang.

“She’s cold and she’s cruel but she’s knows what she’s doin’

She pushed me in the pool at our last school reunion.

She laughs at my dreams but I dream about her laughter

Strange at it seems she’s the one I’m after.’

‘It’s working. I can move!’ The voice cried.

“Cause she’s bittersweet, she knocks me off of my feet

And I can’t help myself I don’t want anyone else

She’s a mystery, she’s too much for me

But I keep coming back for more.

She’s just the girl I’m looking for.”

Then I started feeling it, my head felt lighter. The voice kept screaming out the lyrics and I joined her.

“She can’t keep a secret for more than an hour

She’s run on 100-proof attitude power

And the more she ignores me the more I adore her

What can I do? I’d do anything for her!”

Soon, the fog over my mind was lifted and I sang the chorus again...

This time for fun.

“Cause she’s bittersweet! She knocks me off of my feet!

And I can’t help myself I don’t want anyone else!

She’s a mystery, she’s too much for me

But I keep coming back for more!

She’s just the girl I’m looking for!”

Oh yes. It felt good to be back.

Except, now I’m mad. And maybe a little bug king can help me with that...

Good thing I have the right music.

After double checking the plan Sabrina had created, I gave the signal for the others to do their parts.

Sabrina had explained that she would need to get Morphosis into the Grand Hall but we would all have to be there too. The only way that would happen is if they tried to escape. The others tried to go against her plan but Sabrina remained on it, saying that Morphosis had crossed a line. A penalty would be given even if Sabrina had to do it herself.

Before long guards swarmed the broken cells where the others and Artemis were placed, taking them to the Grand Hall while I watched from a window above.

I had to remind Sabrina that her eyes were back to normal, she said she had a simple cure for that and it should be painless.

Seeing her being moved in front of Morphosis made me worried. The idea that something would go wrong kept playing in my head. What if Morphosis used more magic than we had planned? What if more guards showed up and we couldn’t escape? What if Sabrina somehow messed up and Morphosis overpowered her?

“You were warned the price for escaping. Did you forget my little promise?” Morphosis asked evilly. Rainbow fought against the restraints placed on him by a changeling guard.

Spines, Red Gala, Applejack, Elusive, Butterscotch, Berry, Rainbow and Artemis were each placed in green telekinetic grips. Red Gala, AJ and Rainbow fought the hardest to escape, the others ‘gave up’ after a small struggle.

"I have decided to add another pony to this punishment, or more ponies.” Even from my viewpoint, I could see Sabrina’s eyes widen as she was reminded of something. The double doors to the left of the grouping were opened and three changelings carrying green sacks came in.

Sabrina’s plant magic.

“Drop them next to the girl. I don’t want them to miss this.” Before anypony could say anything else, the bags were dropped onto the floor in front of Sabrina. “Sabrina, could use please...?”

With an almost painful look, Sabrina took away the leaves covering the ponies.

Apple Buck, Scooteroll and Silver Bell. Sabrina had trapped them inside while she was mind-controlled. This changed the plan slightly.

“SILVER BELL!” Elusive yelled as his struggle seemed to come to life.

“APPLE BUCK!” Red Gala and Applejack shouted.

“SCOOTEROLL!” Rainbow Blitz yelled from his grip.

Morphosis laughed evilly. “Delightful isn’t it? Sabrina found them during an invasion, said they would be perfect leverage. Isn’t that right Sabrina?” She only nodded. “Hahaha! And now they will join in her punishment.”

His horn was charged green, sending it out to the four forms across the black floor.

“AH!” Sabrina screamed as she fell to her knees, the colts awoke and began screaming as well.

Not thinking, I charged into the room and covered the four of them in my magic.

“Finally...so good to see you hear Prince Dusk Shine.” Morphosis cheered.

“Leave the colts and Sabrina out of this! This fight is between you and me!” I yelled at the Changeling King while carefully placing the four down.

“That might be true but the best way to get revenge is to go after those around you enemy. That way they have nopony left.” Morphosis grinned. “Sabrina, get rid of them.”

Looking back at Sabrina, I saw her hold out her hand towards me.

Her hand started to turn blue as the lightning came to it.

*BANG*

Her hand moved at the last second and hit Morphosis straight in the chest.

“SABRINA!” He yelled. “WHAT WAS THAT!”

“My King! I am sorry! I don’t know what happened! Let me try it again!” Sabrina said, sounging terrified. Before Morphosis could stop her she prepared another lightning strike

*BANG* *BANG*

Two more hits on Morphosis.

“I ORDER YOU TO STOP!”

“Sorry King, Morphosis, I think I know what’s wrong with it.” Sabrina said, still sounding scared.

“WHAT?” He yelled.

“I’m not aiming it correctly.” She turned towards the King and shot another blast at his chest. “There, all fixed.”

“You fool!” Morphosis yelled as I felt something wrap around me.

Morphosis’ magic.

“What it is you think you are doing?” He yelled at Sabrina.

“Simple, getting even.”

*BANG*

I dropped to the ground

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

The Changelings scattered, dropping the others.

“TAKE THE COLTS! RUN! FLY! WHATEVER IT IS YOU DO! DO IT!” Sabrina screamed.

Grabbing Apple Buck and Silver Bell in my magic and holding Scooteroll in my hooves I flew out the window, hoping the rest of the plan worked.

Sabrina

Walking towards the King as the Mane 6, Spines, Red Gala and the CMC’s flew out the windows with help from Butterscotch, Rainbow Blitz, Artemis and Dusk. I kept shooting lightning, a little surprised the power stayed after his control over me ended.

“My mind-control spell. How did you defeat it?!” Morphosis yelled.

“Easy, when I got here I knew I would need I plan in case you took me over so I made what I call ‘A Charm Box’. It can hold two songs, one to explain what to use it for, another to complete the action. I left it outside by throwing it from my window.” I explained.

“How did you music not work on Dusk?” He asked as I shot another lightning bolt.

“Just before you controlled me I made one last spell. This one protected Dusk, that stallion I knew would get me out. I wouldn’t live with myself if I did something to Dusk. Next time make sure the prisoner isn’t using any magic.” I laughed.

“What are you going to do with me now?” Morphosis asked, trying to stand.

“Simple. You see, what you did was over the line. I would’ve let you do whatever you wanted to me. Break my arms, my legs, beat me senseless, turn into Dusk and kill me. I probably would’ve even let you rape me if you used the right leverage. But the one thing you did that made of all that stuff seem like a thorn in my side, was you. Got. Inside. My. Head.” The black alicorn tried to shuffle away.

“Now, to some people that would sound weird but to me it’s something different and you didn’t just get inside my head. You played in it like a kid in a candy store. You moved things around, messed with my sense of right and wrong. You made me do things that would make a convicted murdered slash rapist look at me with disgust.

“There’s a thing back where I’m from. Called a Medley. What it is, is actually a mixture of songs so well done it almost makes it sound like they were meant to be together.

“Some of the songs I know would give you nightmares just from the images your mind will create off the lyrics, some will make you laugh your plot off. I think you need a good scare. You should run by the way.”

Backing away from him, I began.

"It's close to midnight

And something evil's lurkin' in the dark"

Morphosis started to catch on. He ran off from me.

Using the magic of the song, I appeared right in his path and sang along as the song played on it’s own will.

Morphosis kept running, turning corner and corner but still meeting with me.

It wasn’t until the near end that I had him cornered.

“Darkness falls across the land

The midnight hour is close at hand

Creatures crawl in search of blood

To terrorize y’alls neighborhood.”

“And whosoever shall be found

Without the soul for getting down

Shall stand and faces the hounds of hell!

And rot inside a corpse’s shell

“The foulest stench of is in the air

The funk of forty thousand years

And grizzly ghouls from every tomb

Are closing in to seal your doom!”

The Alicorn stared at me with strange eyes, but then the meaning of the words came to him.

“And though you fight to stay alive

Your body starts to shiver

For no mere mortal can resist

The Evil of...The Thriller!”

The song ended and Morphosis looked like he thought the terror was over.

“This next part is more of a poem really, but it still fits the Theme.”

“One two, Freddy’s comin’ for you.”

*boom* *boom*

The sounds of the monsters called by ‘Thriller' started coming, I began to back away slowly.

“Three four, better lock the door.” My back hit the door at that moment, I quickly made a plant board to escape on before the monster’s got there.

“Five six, get a crucifix.”

*BOOM* *BOOM*

Closer and closer.

“Seven eight, better stay up late.” Using my Autumn magic I lifted the board off the ground and to keep Morphosis from following me I used ice magic to freeze his hooves to the floor.

The wear of all this magic use was starting to get to me. I didn’t have much time

“Nine ten. Never sleep again.” I flew off just as the doors opened wide, revealing the monsters most likely escaped from Tartartus.

After some floating along the breeze, I finally came across the others. They all looked happy to see me.

“I did it.” I told them before collapsing onto the dirt. The color I saw was purple.

Eleven Years Later

It was that time of year again, Rose thought. The time where her parents would meet up with their friends and talk. She got to work on her magic and spend time with her younger brother, that a was a plus though. Her cousins would be a little more chaotic.

The birthday party for twins Winter Rose and Autumn Sun. Turning ten in three days.

There was Cousin Apple Tart who lived on the farm with Uncle Applejack, he would be coming. Then there was Cousin Apple Butter who lived with Aunt Red Gala and Uncle Butterscotch at his cottage. Cousin Surprise was, well a hooful even without her father around. Uncle Rainbow Blitz was cool, he was the one that helped teach Autumn Sun how to fly. Uncle Elusive and Cousin Rarity were a pain, always trying to get Winter Rose in some dress much to Aunt Spines’ warnings.

What made that night hard, was that as the Eldest out of all the foals, Winter and Autumn had to keep them in check.

“Winter Rose come inside please!” Her mother yelled. Getting up off her hooves, Winter began running.

Winter Rose was a pretty unicorn for a nine year old. She had her mother’s brown mane and her father’s purple coat and horn. Her cutie mark was a rose frozen solid, earned during Winter Wrap Up two years prior while helping move the snow. She had two different colored eyes, one bright green and the other sky blue blue (something her father said she got from her mom).

“You called Mom?” Winter said as she ran into the large tree home that she lived in with her family.

“I told you to watch Autumn Sun right?” Her mother asked.

“Yeah...but he said he didn’t wanna go outside so I said he could stay in here.” Winter said.

Winter looked her two colored eyes at her mom. According to her she was 28 and proud, showing almost no sign of aging over the years except for she grew at least another two inches. Her skin was still fair with light freckles, her eyes were unique. Even for a pony. One looked like a mixture of Winter Rose’s eyes, the other looked like her brother’s eyes put together.

Now, Sabrina was a kind mom so long as her kids listened (now she understood how her mother felt all those years) and her daughter was almost her twin. Except for the whole being a different species thing. And the colors...

Okay, mentally the could be twins.

“And I told you that even if he said he didn’t want to that you could drag his plot outside. You both need fresh air every week and living in a tree does not mean that you can stay in all hours, that goes twice for Autumn.”

“You aren’t trying to get him to stop reading that book are you?” A stallion walking into the library asked his wife.

He looked about the same as he did during the raid of the Hive. His dark blue mane was well cut, framing the unicorn horn with a gold ring on it.

“No.” His wife lied.

“Autumn, could you come down here please?” Dusk Shine yelled up the stairs.

Sabrina wanted to protest but the pale orange pegasus was already down the stairs before she could object.

The stallion had received his mom’s coat and his dad’s mane. His cutie mark was a maple leaf shaped sun, earned during a summer trip when he tried to making S’Fall. Didn’t quite work the way he wanted it to. His eyes were multicolored, one being ocean blue and the other being deep red. Autumn Sun had picked up his dad’s love of books, studying and the art of all things checklist.

Being held in his wing was a blue book.

“HA! I knew you had it!” Sabrina yelled at her son. “I told you the Art of the Checklist was not a book to life by.”

“But Mom! It’s so cool!” He whined. Sabrina rolled her eyes, using autumn magic to move the book to her.

“Hey! I love that book!” Dusk yelled.

“Exactly, I know you love this book because of the episode ‘Secret to my Excess’. Never in all of my life did I see my son reading it for fun.” Sabrina said.

Winter Rose and Autumn Sun rolled their eyes. Mom was talking about that show again. She would make references to it about once a month, making the rest of their ‘family’ laughing or becoming skittish.

“Which one was that again?” Dusk asked his wife.

“The one on Spines’ birthday.” This was a skittish time.

“Did it look as bad as it was?” Sabrina shrugged her shoulders.

“Might have, I wasn’t there so I wouldn’t know.” She almost didn’t notice Dusk using his magic to take the book away. "Fool me once shame on me fool me twice shame on you." Sabrina gloated.

"I swear, sometimes it's like I'm raising three foals." Dusk grumbled.

"Well at least you know that my child like qualities are compelling. As are your mature aspects."

"How is it that you act childish one second and sophisticated the next?" Dusk asked her.

"Human Nature." Her kids laughed at this. Their parents fought so weirdly.

Dusk have a laugh at his wife. He still remembered that day almost eleven years ago. She had defeated Morphosis but soon fainted once she arrived back at the group. When she awoke, Dusk made sure Sabrina saw him first.

She kissed him the next second.

Over the course of the year, the two creatures had gone on many dates until one night Dusk proposed, almost a month later the wedding at Canterlot, and two months after that they found out about Winter Rose and Autumn Sun.

Now, at first it was scary. More monsters had come, a couple times a changeling wanting revenge and help from starvation. Sabrina, wanting to say she saved a species and also knowing it might have been slightly her fault, decided to help them.

"That is just the Berry way of taking it." Dusk explained to her.

"No. I actually knew a lot more humans behaving even more childish than me." Sabrina laughed. "The big Double Digit Birthday is coming up and I would at least like my kids to find their own habits and not ones they took from us."

“Sabrina, I’m sure Autumn decided this all on his own.” Dusk said, keeping a straight face.

Sabrina and Dusk locked eyes for a moment, before they started going into hysterics.

Winter Rose laughed at her parents, they would always laugh after they fought like that. The only time they didn’t, well. She couldn’t remember a time when they didn’t.

“You’re guys are weirder than Uncle Berry.” Autumn chuckled.

“Oh are we now?” Sabrina asked her son. Neither twin noticed two snowballs forming on the back of their heads.

“Yeah.” Winter laughed.

“Is this weird?” Sabrina asked, letting the snow fall on their heads. Causing the kids and mother laugh, the husband not too long after.

Meanwhile, off near an old house made completely out of leaves, ice and magic, a small blue portal appeared and a girl was pushed out. She was wearing strange camouflage with matching pants. While she lifted herself off the ground, she was a little dizzy.

“Ugh...” She groaned. “Still not there yet.” Her purple eyes glowed slightly, making her groan again. “It’s not my fault Darce, you saw all those leylines. How am I supposed to find the one to Dominic’s place in that mess?” The purple eye flared. “Okay, this time I’ll let you choose. Seventh time's the charm right?”

With that, another portal appeared behind the girl with two colored eyes.

“Going down.” She said before falling backwards right into the portal. She was getting almost there.
