The mane six decide to come to the human world to look for compatible mates.
The Mane six have decided that they want to take the next step in their lives and look for their special somepony. but now matter how much they try they can't find anypony compatible enough in Equestria. so Twilight goes to Princess Celestia to talk to her about the situation. She suggests that they go to the human world to have a look for potential mates. the story is told by one of the men that gets chosen by one of the girls. This is not a Clop FIc!
It was a normal day at work for me. I filled out the paperwork i needed to and filed it in it's appropriate place. this was pretty much what i did every day unless i got a call to look at a band that the company was interested in. if you haven't guessed yet, i work for a record label. i am what is called a scouter. if the label hears about a band that might be good, they send me out to give them a listen to and meet them and bring back my decision on them. so that's exciting, but a lot of the time, it's just doing paperwork and running errands. which isn't all that bad i guess. it pays really well. so i can't complain. but as for today, it seemed that it was dragging on. i looked down at my watch and saw that it was 11:30. "yes! time for lunch!" i thought in my head. i went to the mini fridge in my office and grabbed my lunch from home and headed out the door. i headed to my usual lunch eating spot.
It was a park not too far from the building i worked in. i enjoyed going down there and enjoying the scenery and to people watch. people watching was always rather amusing to me. you see a lot of odd and interesting characters in East L.A.. i left my building and headed to the park. it was only a five minute walk and it was a beautiful day outside. i threw in my headphones and looked through my phone for something to listen to. i came to me My Little Pony playlist. i thought to myself "it's been a while since I've listened to this." i pressed the random button and giggle at the ghosties came on. it was probably one of my favorite PInkie Pie songs. i came to the park and walked to my usualy bench, all the while singing along to the music in my head. because come on, most people would think it a little weird if i was walking through the park singing pony songs. i got to my bench, sat down and started pulling out my lunch. i thought that i had a pretty good lunch today. i packed it myself. i had a bologna and pepperjack cheese sandwich, some cool ranch Doritos, some trail mix and a Pepsi to wash it all down.
As i started on my sandwich i began my daily ritual of people watching. like i said, i enjoy seeing interesting people and things around the park. i usually saw something new everyday. today as i was watching i noticed six girls sitting on the edge of a fountain in the middle of the park. i watched them for a bit and thought to myself, "man i wish i wasn't so shy.. i would so go up to them and talk to them. but no.. i have to be a pussy and let my fear of rejection get in the way." i was rather disappointed in myself for being this way. but i had always been this way. i was never good at talking to girls. been that way for as long as i can remember. as i was watching the girls talk to each other, i noticed that they looked somewhat familiar. i couldn't place my finger on it, but i was sure that i had seen if not one of them then all of them somewhere before. while i was trying to think of where i might know them from i spaced out and got lost in my train of thought.
I was looking right at the girls, but was not paying attention to the fact that one of the girls had gotten up from the fountain and was walking towards me. she walked up to me and said something. not sure what it was because i still had my headphones in and was still lost in my thoughts. i only came out of my stupor when she touched my shoulder. it startled me and i jumped a little. i pulled my headphones out and looked up at her. she was wearing a purple sleeveless sweater with a white long sleeve button-up underneath along with a pair of jeans. she had purple hair to match her sweater. except for a single streak of pink in her bangs that ran all the way through her hair. i was still thinking that i knew her from somewhere but just couldn't place it. she spoke as these thoughts ran through my head. "hello there. my name is Twilight Sparkle." that's when it hit me. all six of those girls looked exactly like the mane six from My Little Pony. i subconsciously hit myself for not making the connection earlier. she looked at me waiting for some kind of reply. i finally stopped thinking to myself and replied. "Twilight Sparkle? as in the pony from My Little Pony?" i asked curiously. she smiled as if she was satisfied. "yes actually! i am that Twilight Sparkle." i looked at her confused. "like you're doing a cosplay of her or you actually think that you're Twilight Sparkle?" i was hoping that she was just doing a cosplay with her friends and was trying to play the part really well. but that thought was crushed with her reply. "No. i'm the actual Twilight Sparkle." she said with a smile. i just continued to stare at her, trying to decide what i should do. "i'm sure you're having a hard time believing this, as most people would, so i am willing to show you that i am actually Twilight." she said to me like someone wanting to prove someone wrong. this peaked my interest. "really? how's that?" i said curiously. "follow me." she replied and then turned on her heels and started walking back towards the fountain.
I was trying to decide if i should follow or just ignore and go back to work. but then i thought that this too interesting to pass up. so i got up and followed her. she lead me back to the fountain where the other five girls where waiting. "girls. this is..." she indicated to me for me to introduce myself. "oh! i'm Devin." i said quickly. "this is Devin. and he is going to come with us for proof that i am actually Twilight Sparkle." the girls nodded to their leader. i looked at the girls one by one as Twilight talked. i could see that all these girls where the mane six from the show. there was Pinkie Pie with her pink hair and not being able to sit still for a second. There was Rarity, dressed in the latest fashion and looking primped as ever. There was also Rainbow Dash with her rainbow colored hair and semi aggressive look. Then there was Apple Jack. she was wearing a button up flannel shirt with short shorts and a cowboy hat. and last but not least there was Fluttershy. she was sitting on the edge of the fountain and looking down at the ground seeming not to want to make eye contact. she was wearing a yellow t-shirt with a pink skirt. i looked at her and for a second her eyes came up from the ground and our eyes met. they had only met for a second or two when she quickly looked back down at the ground blushing. "now if you will please follow us Devin, you will get what you are after." Twilight said turning to me and bringing me out of my thoughts once more. "all right." i said simply.
Twilight started walking and the rest of the girls followed in her step. Fluttershy got up quickly from the fountain and rushed to Twilight's side. she began whispering to her about something. but i didn't worry about it too much. i'm sure it was none of my business. i followed the girls into a building and up several flights of stairs. we finally arrived at a floor that when we walked in, looked deserted. i looked around some more and sure enough. it was deserted. not a single soul around. for some odd reason. the first thought to pop into my head was that i was about to get raped by six girls and then probably killed. this kind of worried me a little. seeing as this was L.A. i wasn't leaving anything to chance. so i just prepared myself for anything that could happen. the girls got into a line in front of me and looked at me. i was just stood there with my hands in my pockets, not sure what to think. finally, Twilight spoke. "as you may have already guessed from my comment saying that i am Twilight Sparkle, these other girls are my best friends and the other elements of harmony. Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity." as she listed them off, they stepped forward and acknowledged me. "and as i said, we are here to show you that i am Twilight Sparkle and now all i want to do is tell you to prepare yourself for what you are about to see. i am sure that it might come as a shock to you." she said with warning in her voice. all i could do was stand there and listen to her. not sure what to think of this whole situation. after she was done speaking, she lifted her hands in front of her. i didn't pay much attention to them until they started to glow. "this is a bit different than using my horn to perform magic, so please bear with me." she said as she closed her eyes. her hands began to glow even brighter. i started backing away from her, but seeing as i was up against a pillar in the room, i really couldn't back up any farther. her hands kept getting brighter and brighter when all of a sudden there was a bright flash of light and i lost sight of everything. when the blinding light finally cleared from my eyes, i looked around and standing right in front of me with a smoky image of a butterfly above them were six pastel colored ponies. my jaw dropped. i could not believe what i was seeing. the ponies that i had come to know and love from a t.v. show where standing right in front of me.
This was too much for me to take and i started to hyperventilate. there was no way that this could be true. all of a sudden there was another flash of light and the six ponies turned back into the girls that i had first met. i was still hyperventilating at this point and didn't know what to do. Fluttershy rushed to my side with a concerned look on her face and put her hands on my back and chest to try and help me regain control of my breathing. i looked at her and our eyes met. for some reason this had a calming effect on me. her eyes had a sense of loving and compassion and this seemed to help me calm down. once i regained control of myself i stood up straight and looked at the six girls standing in front of me. "why are you showing me this?" i asked confused. "because one of us six has chosen you." Twilight responded. "chosen me? chosen me for what?" i asked even more confused. "she has chosen you to be her mate." Twilight responded once again with a more serious look on her face. i stared at her not sure what to think of this whole situation and what i was hearing. "mate? as in boyfriend or husband?" i asked. "well i guess both." Twilight said thinking about it for a couple seconds. my jaw once again hung open in astonishment. i didn't know how to respond to this. it's not like i had a girlfriend at the time and would have to choose. to be honest, i haven't had a girlfriend in a while now. but the thought of one my fantasies coming true right now was a bit much to take in. after i had become a brony, i had always fantasized about one of the ponies coming to human world and wanting to be in a relationship with me. we'd date for a while, i'd propose and we'd get married and have kids some day. but now that it was actually happening, i didn't know what to say or think. i continued to stare at the girls with my mouth open, probably looking like a complete idiot.
Finally Pinkie Pie broke the silence. "so what do ya say?" she said bouncing a little as she asked with a lot of enthusiasm. i closed my mouth and said slowly. "so one of you girls has chosen me to be your mate right?" "yupp!" Pinkie said energetically. "okay.. so what's the catch then? i mean there has to be a catch right?" i asked cautiously. "well the only thing that you would have to do is come live with us in the house we provide and more than likely eventually marry your mate." Twilight explained. "what about my job?" i asked. "well technically, you won't need your job anymore. Princess Celestia is providing everything that we need in this world with her magic. i can also provide things we need. if you want to keep your job you can, but you won't need to." Twilight explained once more. i stood there and thought about it some more. this was a once in lifetime opporitunity and it more than likely would never happen again. like i said, i had always dreamed about this and now that it was actually happening, i had no idea why i was thinking about it. i made up my my mind and said, "ok. i'll do it." i said slowly. "will you guys tell me which one of you chose me?" i asked. i felt kind of childish asking all these questions. but i had to know. "of course." Twilight said laughing a bit. "it's not like we're going to make you try and figure it out. the girl that chose you is the one who ran to your side when you needed someone to help you in a dire situation" she said motioning to Fluttershy who was still standing by my side.
I looked over to her and she bowed her head, blushing in embarassment. as i thought about it, it didn't surprise me that she did that. i just thought that she was being her nice and caring self. it seemed like something she would do. i was also thinking that this was perfect. Fluttershy was my favorite pony in the show and now she was a human and chose me to be her mate. after all of the feeling i had been feeling in the past half hour, i finally felt somewhat calm and happy. my heart lifted and i smiled at Fluttershy. even though she wasn't looking at me i felt that she knew i was smiling and happy with the choice. i looked back to Twilight. "so what happens now?" i asked calmly. "well now we will head back to our home and you can meet the others and get settled in." she replied. "others?" i asked. "you will see when we get there." she said with a coy smile. she turned and started to leave the room. the other girls followed in step. myself and Fluttershy brought up the back of the line. i looked down to her. it seemed as if she was trying to avoid my gaze like a shy schoolgirl walking next to her crush in the halls. i didn't know what to do as i walked next to her. i was never good with making the first move with girls i liked. that's probably why i never really had that many girlfriends in the past. so i decided to just walk next to her and follow Twilight to where ever we were headed. we left the building and outside there was a limo waiting there for us. "Damn!. Celestia really knows how to take care of the girls here." i thought to myself. we all got into the limo and started our journey to the girls current and my new home.
A half hour later we arrived at what looked like a mansion outside of town in the suburbs. we pulled up in front of the house and the limo came to a stop. Twilight opened the doors and we all piled out of the vehicle. we stood in front of the house and looked at it for a second or two. "well this is home and were you'll be living from now on." Twilight said to me. i looked up at it and stood in awe. this house was huge. i couldn't believe that i got to live here. "how many people live?" i asked. "well as of now there are eight people living here, not including you." she said thinking about it for a second. i stood there a little bit longer until i noticed someone come up to my side. i looked over and there was Fluttershy again. she looked up to me and our eyes met again and once again she looked down and blushed. after taking psychology in college i knew that this was a sign of her liking me. i smiled to myself and tried to man up and make the first move. but once again, i got nervous and over thought it and wussed out. i wanted so bad to show her that i liked her and was happy that we were together now. but i was always a sucker when it came to my nerves.
I suddenly noticed that the other girls had started to move towards the house. without thinking about it i grabbed Fluttershy's hand and started to move towards the door. i can only assume that she didn't mind because she didn't pull her hand away. i only noticed that i was holding her hand when we caught up to Twilight and the others. i almost pulled my hand away in embarrassment but caught myself and decided to man up and keep this going. we walked into the house at which point Twilight looked at me and said "wait here. we'll be right back ok?" "ok." i replied. the six girls then walked through the foyer into the hallway and turned the corner. while they were gone, this gave me the chance to look around and get a feel for the place. i was standing in what looked like the foyer of the house. the foyer itself was huge. it had a huge, what looked like diamond, chandelier hanging from the ceiling. there was a set of stairs on the right and left hand side of the foyer, winding up the wall to lead to what i imagined were the bedrooms. to my right in front of the stairs, was a door that led to another room. i peeked around the corner and saw what looked like a living room area. there were couch's, chairs and a very large t.v. with what looked like several gaming consoles. all i could think to myself was that this place looked pretty legit. As i was looking around, the girls came back into the foyer.
I noticed them come in and went back to stand in the middle of the room. as the girls filed back into the room they stood in front of me. all except for Fluttershy. she walked past the girls and stood next to me. i know it may seem cheesy but i looked over to her again and smiled at her. this time she held my gaze a bit longer than before. but only for a second or two more. then she looked down to the floor again blushing. i took my hand out of my pocket and moved it to my side where her hand was hanging. i hooked her pinkie finger with mine and puller her hand into mine. she gladly accepted this move and actually moved closer to me. Twilight saw the exchange and as i looked up she was smiling at the both of us. "Devin, when i was explaining things to you earlier, i said there were others. well these are the other." she said as she motioned to the hallway she just came from. from this hallway came two men. they were both around my age but looked completely different from each other and myself. one was dressed very nicely and looked very well taken care of. the other had a beard and was dressed rather plainly. he seemed like the kind of guy who would be a gamer and wasn't afraid to show it. he didn't dress nicely either. it looked like he wore what he wanted and didn't care what others thought. they came into the room and joined the line the girls were standing in. the one who was dressed nicely stood next to Rarity. he took a hold of her hand and kissed it gently. he looked at her and smiled. Rarity smiled back and hugged his arm as she pulled him closer into her. the other stood next to AppleJack. he stood a little bit taller than AppleJack and when he stood next to her he took her hand into his and smiled and looked over to me. "these two men are two other men that one of the girls has chosen to be their mates. the one standing next to Rarity is Derek. and the one standing next to AppleJack is Dustin." Twilight began to explain to me. Dustin chimed in and said "you can just call me Dusty." i nodded to him and smiled.
Twilight looked to Derek and Dusty, "this is Devin. Fluttershy has chosen him to be her mate." they both came up to me and greeted me with a handshake. twilight looked on and smiled at us all as we greeted each other. "well now that we all know each other, Devin, i used my magic to move all your stuff here and into your new room. Fluttershy can show you where it is." twilight said motioning up the stairs. Fluttershy took my hand and led me up the stairs and down a hallway to the third door. she opened it and led me in. "this will be our room." she said shyly. "our room? like we're going to be sleeping together? i mean... sleeping in the same bed!?" i said as i started to get nervous. she smiled at me and said "yes. we can sleep in the same bed if you want. i mean.. we don't have to if you don't want to..." i could tell she was getting nervous as well. i wanted to let her know that i did, but i didn't want to come across as a perv or something. "yeah. i'd like that. we don't have to do anything if you don't want to. i'm fine with just being close to you." i said, still nervous about the whole situation. she looked up and smiled at me. "i'd like that." i smiled back and brought her hand up to my lips and gave her a gentle kiss. she instantly blushed and looked at the ground. i began to look around the room and i noticed that literally all my stuff was now here in this room. except for all my furniture and major appliances naturally, but everything that i needed to survive and then some was there. "we also have another room over there." Fluttershy said as she pointed to a door to our left. we walked over to it and i opened it. in this room it looked like we had our own little living room. this is where some of furniture had decided to go. my couch was there along with my T.V. everything was there. it all seemed too good be to true. i placed my arm around Fluttershy's waist and pulled her into me. she willingly accepted and placed her head against my chest and we stood there for a while just taking in the moment we were having.
