He then walked across the bridge into the open. A voice shouted ''Ah, here you are...'' the Armored figure looked around for the source. The voice continued to speak. "It's been a long wait... But I knew you'd free me eventually." The armored figure continued looking for the source of the voice as it kept on talking. "Yes, always the puppet. Don't you ever get tired of having your strings pulled?" The Armored Figure then proceeded down the bridge to the center of a small Coliseum. In front of him was molten lava Cliff with cracks of Granite debris everywhere. The voice then continued "I am no mortal man. The Gods and Demons you fear and worship are as nothing to me." Rising from the lava, wings flapping, a huge dragon landed on the molten granite debris and roared at the armored figure. The armored figure then drew out a sword with a white blade and charged to the dragon swinging his sword until the dragon jumps up and lands back down on the molten granite debris, causing a shock-wave of debris pushing the armored figure back a distance onto the ground. Using the sword as a brace he gets up and charged again towards the Black crimson dragon. He tried to swing his sword but the Black Crimson dragon flapped its wings causing a strong force of wind against the armored figure, barely holding his ground he stabbed his white sword into the ground as an anchor to keep from blowing away, the black crimson dragon then took to the sky. With his sword still lodged in the ground he began chanting, a light pulsating in his hands. The armored figure then lifted his hands to the sky. The skies became cloudy with smog. Lightning began to continuously strike the black crimson dragon hitting its wings forcing the dragon into a premature landing. Seeing this as an opportunity the armored figure then drew his white sword from the ground and charged towards the dragon. Jumping on its head he pierced his white blade through the dragons skull, hitting the brain, causing instant death. The black crimson dragon's head then collapsed on to the ground throwing the armored figure several meters in front of it. When the armored figure got back up he opened a satchel from his side and brought out a mask. Then the armored figure pointed the mask at the black crimson dragon causing a blue light to come from the dragon and into the mask. After a minute the blue light faded from the dragon and into the mask completely. The armored figure then took off his helmet, dropped it and looked at the mask. A voice then came from the mask "Wear me... Wear me... And Gods will envy your power..."The figure just stood there gazing at the mask, it continued to speak. "Wear me... And the world will bow at your feet..."Still gazing at the mask the figure then broke out of his gaze shaking his head and threw it over the cliff. The armored figure then picked up his helmet got his sword and proceeded to exit the Coliseum. Before the mask could touch the lava a bright light formed just below it. The Mask then disappeared before making contact with the lava. As the hero exited the coliseum known as Archon's Folly through the Bronze Gate to Archon's Shrine he was greeted by heroes from The Heroes guild and people from the village of Snowspire. They cheered for him as loud they can be. They cheered so loud that last time he heard a cheer that loud was when he and his buddy Whisper were fighting in the Witchwood Arena. As he walked towards them he took one last look at the Bronze Gate once more. He saw the gate had once more closed forever again to never be opened. As he walked towards them all they all gave him their congratulations then they paraded him back to Snowspire Village. They had the most glorious celebration that they could give. Games, dancing, drinks they even built a statue of him. As the festivities began to die down he went to see Scythe near the Oracles. Scythe turned to the hero to acknowledge him. "So the hero has finally defeated the killer of his mother and father. I suppose now you will probably settle down and start your own family." The hero looked down on the ground he didn't know what to do now. "Well either way as a reward for your bravery I want you to have this." Scythe took out a potion with clear sparkling liquid. "This potion will grant you immortality and restore youth along with scars and wounds." The hero took the potion and examined its contents. "Take heed once you drink this potion the only way you can die is if someone killed you." Nodding towards Scythe he popped the cork open and chugged down its contents. "How do you feel Hero?" He got a good look of himself and saw he was about an inch shorter than Scythe, the scars that were once on his face were now all gone. And his hair had shortened down and beard and mustache had then reduced to stubble's and both were the color black again. Looking up to Scythe the Hero said. "I feel like a kid again. Thank you Scythe." Scythe smiled for what he called a smile for his mummified face.(Image of what he looks like.) He then proceeded to head down the staircases from the platform to the oracles. The Hero had to ask him one last question. "Will I ever see you again?" Scythe stopped and said. "Only if you tell me your name." The Hero quickly answered with his name. "Fable my name is Fable." Scythe was smirking at this point then he said. "We might meet again Fable we just might meet each other again." Scythe then faded away almost like he never existed. After returning back to Albion the Hero Fable found a nice girl. But their happiness would soon be at an end. When word got out of Jack of Blade’s demise, the people of Albion Turned against the Heroes of the Hero's Guild. Many of them were hanged burned at the torch even hunted down. For our Hero Fable he suffered the death of his wife and the loss of his son. Other heroes have also met a terrible fate. Thunder was ambushed while heading towards Knothole glade, Briar Rose mysteriously disappeared. And the Guildmaster didn't even raise a finger to defend himself. Fable was now all alone his former allies and friends were either dead or didn't want anything to do with him. Fable was packing his things to get ready to leave Albion forever. He had an overabundant supply of will and health potions. He took the weapons listed below. Arken's Crossbow (What it looks like.) Cutlass Bluetane (What it looks like.) Dollmaster's Mace (what it looks like.) Katana Hiryu (what it looks like.) Murren Greataxe (what it looks like.) Murren Greathammer (what it looks like.) Ronok the Axe (what it looks like) Skorm's Bow (what it looks like.) Solus Greatsword (what it looks like.) Sword of Aeons (what it looks like.) The Harbinger (what it looks like.) The Sentinus (what it looks like.) Wellow's Pickhammer (what it looks like.) Avo's Tear (what it looks like.) Orkon's Club (what it looks like.) The Avenger (what it looks like.) The Bereaver (what it looks like.) And the Frying Pan (what it looks like.) Each one of these legendary weapons had a story, each had a master. And now he was the new master of them all. He put them all away in a magical chest where it could hold an abundance of items. Before he closed the chest he took two swords to equip himself with. Avo's Tear and the Sword of Aeons and also he took Skorm's Bow. Closing the chest it shrunk to the size of a music box and he picked it up and put it in his knapsack. And on his bed was two money bags one for him and the other for payment. Fable put on his distinguishable Archon's armor, and grabbed the two bags of gold. He then used his Guild seal to teleport to Oakvale where a ship and a crew he commissioned for was waiting for him. As he teleported to the entrance of the town he slowly took in all of his surroundings. This is where it all began, where he played with his sister, Theresa, where his father died, where it all began. Fable eventually made his way to the dock where a ship that had probably seen its years at an end. It was quite a ways away from the port. Fable heard footsteps headed towards him and he turned around to confront whoever it was. He saw a beautiful Female headed towards him. As she got closer Fable could tell right away that she was devious. Once she was a good three feet away from him she put her hand on her hips and looks Fable up from top to bottom. A smirk then crosses her face and she is the first to speak. "I suppose you are the special Passenger that wants to board my ship." Fable was surprised to say the least but his helmet hid his surprise and he quickly nodded. Her smirk still stays on her face and she says. "Well do you have the gold?" She indicates her want by using her other arm and points at Fable with her Palm open. Fable nods his head again and opens his knapsack to gets the second bag of gold for payment. He then hands it to her and she accepts it. The Captain does a good feel of the gold and says. "I'll be in the tavern with my boys counting this gold. Once it is all counted we will take the life boat and start setting sail. Oh and my name is Captain Alendia and if you have the exact number of gold then we are going to be the best of friends." She turned around and headed towards the local tavern. This was it Fable has almost left Albion he just needs to make sure to survive the next few minutes before he is hunted down by the people of Albion themselves. > The Escape and The Office > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Escape and The Office Fable stood there leaning his back against a pole. It had been thirty minutes, the sun barely rising. He was running out of time and the Captain was taking her sweet, sweet time counting her gold. After a while Fable had had enough; he decided to go see what was the hold up. When he entered the tavern though, there was no one around except for the bartender who was desperately trying not to make eye contact with Fable, something Fable took notice of as he trotted over to the bartender, sitting himself in a barstool right in front of him. The bartender's eyes were darting from side to side, desperately trying finding a way to escape Fable's piercing stare. The helmet Fable wore was also boring into the bartender's gaze for minutes on end. The tension seemed to be too much for the fellow. He then finally spoke up. "C-can I get you anything?" He stuttered. Fable slammed his fist on the counter top authoritatively. "WHERE IS THE GIRL?" Fable demanded. He could her the clammer of footsteps outside, but he ignored it for now; he needed that crucial information. The bartender was cracking at this point. He desperately brought out a sword only to have it swiftly knocked out of his hand, a loud CLANK coming from the dropped weapon. Fable grabbed the collar of the bartender's shirt and dragged him over the counter top, then shoved him against the nearest wall. "WHERE IS SHE?" Fable bellowed. Unfortunately as the bartender was just about to answer, an arrow penetrated straight through his right eye, the projectile now planted firmly into the wall. The Bartender was nothing more than an ornament on the wall at this point. Fable quickly pivoted around and saw the would-be assailant: a scrawny villager, struggling to reload her crossbow. She wouldn't get the chance, however, for Fable casted Assassin's Rush, a spell which propels the user through time and space in the blink of an eye, right behind the unfortunate foe instantaneously. Once the gap between them closed, Fable the back of her head, arcs of pure electricity leaping from his fingertips and surrounding the villager's body. Typically at a close distance, this spell would basically be melting the skin off and imploding any organs, leaving just the skeleton intact. As he watched the skeleton fall down, bones cracking against the floor, he heard a muffled cry for help from upstairs. Fable ascended each flight, reaching the upstairs room as two swords flashed in front of him. Three captives looked to be tied up on the ground, two with cloth gags stuffed in their mouths, the other laying down on the ground in a pool of his own blood. Both sword-wielders gazed upon Fable, one of the thugs stepping back, his sword now pressed against the throat of one of the captives. This didn't stir Fable one bit for he casted the Slow Time spell, affecting the very fabric of time itself; slowing everything around him to a crawl while leaving the caster immune. Sparks of electricity zapped from his fingertips again, arching to both of the captors, leaving only more skeletons on the ground. After he undid the effects of the spell, he went over to the captives and untied them both. Captain Alendia seemed pleased to finally be no longer tied up like a greased up boar ready to be cooked and back to the free pirate she has always been. Back on her feet, Alendia went over to a nearby table and gathered her two pistols with blades attached, a cutlass, and a bag of gold. The other captive went to the same table and grabbed a rifle and two cutlasses. Captain Alendia grabs another pistol and tosses it to Fable while saying, "Here, take my second mate's gun. He won't be needing it anymore." Fable caught it and examined it closely. Once he was done examining it, he proceeded back down the stairs, the other two following his lead. They were then greeted by guards, bounty hunters, and various villagers toting weapons. One particular guard stepped forward and commanded, “Alright, you three are under arrest! Surrender now or prepare to die." He didn't live long as Captain Alendia brought out her pistol and shot his face off. Everyone's eyes were on her now, the pirate merely grinning at the expense of the guard. All hell broke loose, arrows flying in their direction. The hero Fable casted a Physical Shield, surrounding him with a protective sphere of energy that will absorb any blow, but only for a limited amount of time. He guarded his partners in battle and protected them from the oncoming arrows. Once the arrows had stopped firing, Captain Alendia, her crew mate, and Fable all begun firing their guns at the mob before them, raining bullets on their bitch-asses. With barrels smokin' hot, they saw the carnage before them: bodies lying everywhere, covered in holes with blood everywhere. As they stepped over the bodies, they could definitely see another huge mob forming outside as they peered out a window. Arrows lit on fire were then fired into the tavern, daring to burn the establishment down. Fable and his pirate companions ran outside to be greeted with the mob. Fable summoned Ghost Swords, four ethereal blades from the netherworld that do battle on behalf of the caster. The ethereal blades immediately began fending off the mob as quickly as they appeared, providing the perfect distraction for Fable, Captain Alendia, and her crew-mate as they headed towards a lifeboat. Some stragglers followed the trio, only to meet their end with Captain Alendia's bullets. The three then reached the life boat, cutting loose the ropes securing it as they felt the wooden boat make a mighty splash as it hit the water. Paddling away to the ship, arrows continued to fly at them, Alendia taking her crew-mate's rifle and returning fire. Eventually the mob ceased fire, for their arrows could no longer reach them. Captain Alendia took one final shot with the rifle, just for kicks, then sat down in the life boat and waited for her two rowers to take her back to her ship. After twenty minutes had passed, they had reached Alendia's ship, climbing aboard and being greeted by the first mate and crew. "Mom! Are you alright?" The first mate quickly asked with worry. Captain Alendia narrowed her eyes on her daughter and grabbed her hat, smacking her upside the head with said hat. "What did I tell you about calling me that on my ship? Now our guest knows who else will be joining us for dinner. And what are you doing wearing my hat, anyway? You're not the Captain of this ship." Her daughter stared at her with a tear in her eyes and weepingly said, "I'm sorry mom...I just thought something bad happened to you." Alendia then just looked at her daughter and sighed. "Come here..." She said with open arms. Her daughter complied and they both hugged. "I'm sorry I worried you, Raylyn. Now, let's address our guest." They both turned to Fable, Alendia leaning an elbow on her daughter's shoulder as she welcomed him: "Welcome to my ship! I call her The Reaver. We hope that you will join us for dinner." Fable sighed and took off his helmet. "I guess I will." In a lighted room in Canterlot, a girl with greyscale hair and a slight tan was sitting in a chair wearing a safari outfit and a pith helmet on her head. Her feet were perched up on a desk and she was snoring lightly; it was eight in the morning and Daring Do hadn't gotten enough sleep last night. To make matters worse, Fancypants, her employer/sponsor, had called her in earlier to give her another assignment. The only door to his office opened and Fancypants came strolling in with his signature suit and tie, matching his light azure hair and mustache along with a monocle and an annoyed look on his face. He waltzed over to the desk and sat down in the recliner and spoke. "Daring, I know you didn't get any sleep last night, but could you please get your feet off my desk?" Daring didn't answer. "Daring?" He asked again still receiving no reply. "Daring, can you wake up please?" He nearly spat out. She didn't wake up. "Daring..." He barked louder. "DARING!!" He bellowed. Daring Do then awoke with a gasp and took her feet off of his desk, then stretched out in her chair. She took her pith helmet off and used one of her hands to rub her eyes. "Yea?" She said finally answering him with a groan. Fancypants then quietly composed himself and spoke. "Now that you are awake I suppose you will want the details of the newest artifact." "Yea, sure, whatever." Fancypants sighed and opened a drawer and took out a folder. He then handed the folder to Daring as she read the name of the artifact. "Mask of Blades..." She gave a curious look to Fancypants who then went on to brief the explorer: "As you can see the artifact is a mask. It is said to be from a land called Albion. Not much is known about this 'Albion' as no one has found said continent before. It might not even exist for all we know, but what we do know is this mask was worn by an advisor of Nightmare Moon herself. It's said that he disappeared when she was banished." Daring opened the folder and looked over some of the notes. She saw a picture and raised an eyebrow at it. Fancypants continued on. "You will be going to an old island fortress that is near the Bermane Triangle. Find the artifact and comeback before the storm hits." Daring shot her head up from the folder with wide eyes staring at Fancypants. "Are you crazy?!” She then yelled. “The Bermane Triangle is the first dangerous natural phenomenon in the world. Even more dangerous than the Everfree Forest. And you want me to go to a island that will get gulped up by it?" Daring Do was furious as she slammed the folder onto his desk and had her hands on it staring at Fancypants incredulously. Fancypants kept a calm demeanor and he replied, "I'm sure you will be off the island before the Bermane Triangle hits, but if you can't get out in time we have a teleportation scroll that will transport you back to the airship. That way you and your assistant will be safe." Daring slumped back into her chair and looked at the ceiling. After a moment she turned her head back to Fancypants. "Alright, I guess I'll go get this mask," She said as she got up from her seat and proceeded to head out. "Daring?" Fancypants called out to her, watching her turn around. "Be careful out there." She simply smiled and said, "Be back before you know it!" And proceeded out the door. > Getting prepared and Dinner/Breakfast surprise > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Getting Prepared and Dinner/Breakfast surprise Daring Do had exited the building of Fancypants’ office. It was like every other building in Canterlot in that it was it had elements of old, industrial, and a dash of modern; in fact most of Canterlot had a modern, industrial, rustic look to it. As she headed back to the apartment Daring read over the notes of the file again. Apparently the mask was worn by a guy named Jack of Blades, a key player in several battles that were won near the end of Nightmare Moon’s rule. After she was banished, he suddenly disappeared; some say he retreated to an island fortress and was planning on breaking the seals to Nightmare moon’s imprisonment. A strike force would’ve stormed the island had the natural Phenomenon known as the Bermane Triangle not engulfed the island, never to be seen again. It wasn’t until recently that local fishermen have claimed to’ve seen the island ‘fade in and out of existence’. As Daring read the last of her notes, she wondered how an island can fade in and out of existence. Of course the Bermane Triangle was out of the question; it was a huge natural phenomenon that couldn’t be controlled by any weather teams. Daring quickly stepped into the apartment complex, heading straight for the elevator. Once inside she pressed the top floor button, watching the doors close in front of her as she leans back against the elevator. It was a lot better than taking the stairs, considering her penthouse was on the top floor, which she shared with her assistant. Her assistant had been with her for only three weeks now; her former occupation hadn't been doing too well and she may have caused some controversy using a certain dark magic item called the Alicorn Amulet. All was forgiven eventually and she got off scot-free due to the Amulet’s nature to corrupt. Nowadays she has been trying to turn her life back around and found a job as Daring Do's assistant. Using a key to open the door to her penthouse, Daring entered the living room where a sleeping helpless Trixie Lulamoon was napping on the couch in her pajamas. Daring didn't really want to wake her up seeing how she was sleeping so peacefully, but they had a job to do and it wasn't going to get itself done. Daring quickly grabbed Trixie's shoulder and shook it hard enough to wake her up. Trixie wearily opened her eyes and yawned, squirming up into a sitting position. Daring smiled, having accomplished her goal of waking Trixie, and went to get her assistant’s gear ready. Trixie groggily slumped into the bathroom, looking herself in the mirror as she grabbed her hairbrush. "So, what’s on the agenda today? More studying of artifacts that will most likely never be found?" She called out to Daring, combing and brushing her long mane. After her hair was done she decided to brush her teeth. "Not today,” Daring replied. ”We’re going to be collecting another artifact." Trixie spit out some toothpaste into the sink and inquired. "Does he seek to run us ragged? Trixie has not even had a week to herself yet." Daring finished packing her assistant's supplies and went to the closet to get her safari outfit. "Well you know what they say ain’t no rest for the wicked." "And money doesn't grow on trees. Trixie knows that saying quite well." She completed, and then put her hands together to form a cup under the sink to rejuvenate her dry mouth. Daring found her assistant’s outfit to be a little torn from wearing it around everywhere; the edges were all ragged, sleeves were torn, and the pouches were nonexistent. Daring rolled her eyes and threw the outfit in a third clothes hamper that simply said "Repair". She then continued looking through her closet and found another outfit that was in much better shape than the last one. "So when do we leave?" Trixie asked as she walked into the room. "Immediately,” Daring answered back. “So get your outfit on and let’s go! I'll be waiting in the living room." Once the explorer and assistant were all dressed and packed, they headed out the door to their penthouse and headed for the airship docks, Daring filling in her assistant of the artifact and the place they were going. Trixie was worried about the Bermane Triangle until her fears were put to rest about the teleportation scroll. As they reached the air-docks, there was a number of war zeppelins that served the Royal Equestrian sky navy, and a number of “Pleasure Ships” that were owned by private businesses. One ship in particular that the two were looking for was a Transport Pleasure attack vessel named The Somnium (which was latin for Fancy). Once they found the ship, they gazed upon its sleek, beautiful, simplistic design Boarding the ship, their first stop was the lounging area where they spend most of their time. The ship quickly came to life, engines roared as crewmen manned their stations and generally kept things running smoothly. Soon enough they were up and away, headed towards the Island Fortress dubbed Wyspa Forteca. Fable followed Captain Alendia and her first mate/daughter Raylyn into the Captain's quarters. It was like a living room with two other rooms branching out to either side. The room to the left looked like a bedroom with a luscious heart-shaped king size bed, a few Hardwood-designed desks, and a shelf with various trinkets. The room on the right, however, was barren aside from the bottles of lotion, soaps, shampoo, and strange alchemy sets all along the walls. It also had what appeared to be stairs that lead to a circular bathtub. The living room had a soft velveteen set of furniture, along with a long, gold-plated table that acted as a des, a soft rug floor, and square windows in the back that allowed you to see what's behind the ship. The group then walked up to the gold-plated table and sat in the available chairs. On the table were silverware, bowls filled with fruit, elegant red candles, and dishes of meat with vegetables, along with platters of potatoes, radishes, and what appeared to be gravy. The sight of all that food on the table could make any man’s mouth water. And Fable's mouth indeed watered like a dog hearing a bell. He wanted to ravage the table and dig in right away, but then he remembered his manners, manners that he picked up from his first wife. Her name was Elvira Gray and she was, what some would say, a complete and utter bitch. She was one of the most seductive, voluptuous, and villainous women he had ever met. She only began to notice Fable after he conquered the Witchwood arena and let his friend Whisper live. Later on, she would then put Fable on a few errand-boy missions to gain her affection, and soon after Fable proposed to her. She said yes, but before they could wed he had to fight Thunder, who was also infatuated with her. He almost died fighting that bastard, for he was a hero with power, cunning, and desperation to gain back Elvira's affection. Sadly his victory would never come to pass, for once Fable defeated him and gained his helmet as a trophy, one of the many trophies that he has kept with him and treasured since, Fable wedded Elvira Gray only to make his like pretty goddamn miserable. He had to spend time with her almost every single waking hour, day, minute, and second, and she even threatened that if he ever cheated on her, he would feel her wrath, though that didn't stop her from cheating on him. As Fable expected, she was cheating on him on a regular basis. At the time Fable forgave her wanting to have a stable and happy marriage. That would all change when a prisoner that might have been, in hindsight, nut-slappingly out of his noggin told Fable that his wife Elvira had killed her own sister to become mayor. Of course Fable didn't believe him at the time, but the notion nagged at him constantly. In order to ease his nerves, he went back to the prisoner, who explained to the hero that he should go to “the old grey house” and look for the answer there. Once he spotted and entered the dilapidated home, he was ambushed by the undead. The fight between the undead and our hero was excruciating at best, but it ended quickly once he casted a spell which calls forth vortices of energy from the nether realms. A then portal opened up beneath each victim, draining their life into the underworld. After their defeat, the cellar, which had previously been locked, had swung open, presenting all the evidence that proved the prisoner’s story once Fable stepped inside. Fable was torn inside; he couldn’t believe that his wife would murder her own sister. He gathered the evidence and presented it to the guards of Bowerstone. They immediately arrested her, sending her to the Headman's block where she was publicly executed for all to see. But you see, Fable killed two lives that day; after the execution a doctor came to him and told him that he had some very bad news for him: His unborn child. He cried and lamented for weeks on end knowing he would never meet that child he killed…how that child will never see the light of day, how it will never smell the open air, how it will never have a family of its own. But that was all back then and today Fable was in the now. Remembering his manners, he waited for his hosts to get their food. Once they had a good portion for themselves, Fable grabbed some grub for himself. The dinner was silent for the most part and no one really spoke. This was okay for Fable and Alendia, but Raylyn wanted answers. So she took a glance at Fable and asked, "So, any reason why you want to leave Albion?" Fable put down his fork mid lift; he stared at the food on his plate and poked at it with the fork. Captain Alendia was now facing Fable eager to get the answer as well, but kept her intentions hidden. They all remained as silent as can be, the waves of the ocean making the only sound that can be heard. "The reason I’m leaving is because there is nothing left for me here," He said finally breaking the silence. Looking agitated, Raylyn opened her mouth, wanting to investigate further, but her mother smirked and interrupted her quickly. "Raylyn, dear, would you keep an eye on the crew? You know, make sure they aren’t lazying about." She looked to her mother with a face of 'Are you serious?', Alendia keeping her smirk as she continued. "I would like to talk to our guest alone…about certain things. I’ll call you back in when we’re done." Raylyn stared back at her mother, then to Fable, and back again before finally nodding. She excused herself from the table and went to go check on the crew, as instructed, rolling her eyes as she turned her back. After she exited out the quarters, Alendia looked to Fable and smiled with a shrug. "Kids! What can ya do with out them?" Fable smiled and continued eating. After a moments silence Alendia clasped her hands together and asked, "So what’s the real reason you’re leaving Albion?" Fable looked up and sighed; he knew he wasn't going to get away from her with the same tactic. "I’m leaving Albion because the people no longer want heroes like me around," He said, telling the truth. Alendia nodded and got up from her seat, straight for a cupboard. Inside were various bottles of wine and other liquors. She carefully brought out a bright pink, heart-shaped bottle with a cork in it and waltzed on over to Fable's side of the table. With a seductive smirk she poured him a glass, and then poured herself one, raising it for a toast. Fable blinked, but then grabbed his glass and they both toasted their glasses, making a tink sound. Alendia took a sip of her's while Fable gulped down his entire drink. Almost immediately Fable regretted doing so; while the drink was good, it was overwhelming for the hero. "Eager now, are we?" Alendia started giggling. Before he could ask, Alendia closed the distance between them, kissing him deeply on the lips. Blushing madly, Fable backed away from his seat causing it to fall down backwards with a thump. He would have escaped the quarters had his vision not began to blur, and before he knew it he was out like a light. Once he woke up, he was in Alendia's bed, half-naked with his undershirt on. One quick look around and saw that he was bound to the bed with what appeared to be furry cuffs. He struggled with the cuffs but they wouldn't budge. After a short battle with the restraints, he quickly gave up; he had a feeling that this woman was going to like Hedwig of the former Darkwood Bordello, the “Mistress of Bondage” as they call her. The gruff hero mistakenly hired her for her services thinking she was going to be bound when it was quite the opposite, in fact. After he found the deed to the Bordello and had a free orgy with all of his newest Prostitutes, which he thoroughly enjoyed, he gave the deed over to Madame Minzche who made it into a refuge for women. He would occasionally visit from time to time to see how the girls were doing and made sure they were alright, until they no longer wanted him to visit due to the hero-hunting that came to Albion. He never visited them since. After his quick flashback, Alendia stepped in wearing a red and black silk lace nightgown matched with a strapless bra. Along with the outfit were Brazilian panties (picture if you want to know type of underwear.), a garter belt attached to thigh-high stockings, and a ribbon-tied choker. She slinked herself over to the bed slowly, her hips swaying from side to side. Unable to do much else, Fable got a good look of her body: it was almost an hourglass-shape with a few well-toned muscles. She had a slight tan and a small heart-shaped tattoo near her belly button. She stopped by the bed, leaning down onto the sheets and crawling on top of Fable. Their eyes met for a moment, and then she pressed her body against his. There then came a battle between tongues, each exploring the others mouth as they locked lips. It went on for several minutes until Alendia broke the kiss with only a string of saliva attaching to both of their mouths, panting out hotly as her cheeks grew a shade of red. As Fable lied there he wondered how such a beautiful girl was captain of this ship. He figured it didn't matter, watching her lower herself down to where his soon-to-be erect penis lay. She was face to face with Fable's member, a smirk forming on her face as she gently traced a finger along length. Her touch was delicate with a touch of malice as she twisted the skin of it. He winced as she begun to stroke his manhood’s twisted skin; the hero felt conflicting stings of pleasure and pain. Alendia continued her technique, going a bit faster with each new stroke. Fable felt like he could burst, but whenever he got close Alendia would stop, teasing him, then go back to her slow start. After minutes of toying with the snake, she wrapped her lips around the head, slurping the cock into her mouth. Her tongue licked at the tip in circular motions; occasionally she would slowly drag her tongue up the shaft up to the tip, and then start again. Fable felt less pulses of pain and more pleasure, but not enough to get him to reach his limit. She soon began to bob her head up and down, slow at first, but minute after minute she speeds up her pace with seemingly have no gag reflex. Fable could begin to feel his orgasm welling up in his loins. Every second his dick spent in her mouth was another second building up to his climax. Alendia continued to bob her head up and down, almost like she was milking him for his seed. In the heat of the moment, without warning, Fable burst into her mouth, his throbbing rod hilted down her throat. Spurt after spurt, she claimed it all in her mouth. Eventually, Fable ran out of ammo, Alendia lifting her head up from the cock, a string of pre-cum and spunk attached to her mouth from his member. Fable might’ve been spent, but he knew that this was just the appetizer and soon he will be served the main course. As she sucked up that last string of cum, she moved to slide herself on top of his used manhood. She placed his erect member between her butt cheeks and started sliding up and down. Fable’s cock couldn’t help but stay erect as she continued rubbing against his member. After that she stood up slowly, thumbs hook around the hem of her panties a she stripped them off. Once they were off, she repositioned herself, prodding his member between her folds. Fable could feel himself enter slightly, just the tip, at the entrance of her womanhood. Once the tip would go in she would leave his member hanging by lifting her body up back up again. She would continue to toy with him and he could bear it no longer. With a burst of strength, and a little will spell known as Berserk, he broke free from his cuffs [I can break these cuffs! Aaaaaaaaargh!], his firm hands grabbing her hips and shoving his raging cock inside of her, making Alendia wince. They switched roles as Fable mounted the pirate captain. Now that he was in control, he thrust his cock in and out of her body, moans of ecstasy escaping from Alendia’s lips. Fable could feel the tightness of her womanhood as it squeezed around his hard, throbbing member. Her gasps and pants combined with those hot moans as he went faster. He even heard a few "Oh Avo's!" from Alendia as she was getting closer to her limit. Just a couple more thrusts and… She gritted her teeth as she was about to cum, but Fable would have none of that. He ceased his thrusts, regardless of what his second brain told him to do, grinning as the woman under him tried to thrust her hips onto his member. It didn't work, though, as she was held down by Fable's lower half. Soon he would repeat the process all over again, getting her close to her limit, then stop abruptly, rinse and repeat. He could hear her beg the hero to let her cum, but only after six more times did he decide to finish up. It drove her mad how he was teasing her and giving her a taste of her own medicine. She would have her way this time, though! Gripping the bed sheets hard, she braced herself to cum this time if it was the last thing she'd do. Thrust by thrust, Fable and Alendia felt their peak coming ever so closer, then sporadically the duo released themselves onto each other. When Fable came he bucked hard, hilting into her and feeling her juices swallow his member, his juices intermingled with her opaque release. They both lay down on the bed panting. Alendia would've spoke but the door to the room opened suddenly and Raylyn came in, with a panic driven state. "Mom, we have a ....." She stared in silence at the two in the bed. Alendia and Fable scrambled to cover themselves up with whatever came to their grip; thankfully it was the bedsheets. Shaking her head, Raylyn turned back to her mother. "Mom, I need you to get dressed,” She sighed. “A storm is coming and the man at the helm intentionally steered us into it." "Was it crazy Pete again?" Alendia groaned, Raylyn responding with a nod. Alendia got up from the bed, making her way over to a dresser while wiping herself of cum with a cleaning rag. Fable then stood up from the bed and caught another rag that was thrown to him, doing the same. Raylyn then handed over Fable's clothing and knapsack, the hero quickly putting it all back on. "Guess you’re my new dad…" Raylyn said, eying Fable as he put his armor back on then left to go outside. Fable turned his head to Alendia, but she had her back towards him, busy adjusting her hat. Fable followed the captain outside. Once outside they were greeted with the sound of thunder. The ship looked like a complete mess with crewmen scrambling everywhere doing their jobs. To add to the chaos, Alendia started barking out orders to her crew and proceeded to the helm of the ship with Fable following her close-by. He could hear the rain hitting his armor, making small tinkling noises. Soon they were at the Helm where Raylyn was steering the ship. Waves of ocean water cracked at the ship like a bullwhip, each one making the ship tilt just abit. Fable could tell the storm was going to get worse by the minute. He could vaguely hear Alendia and Raylyn talk about something, but another wave that was stronger than the others smashed against the ship sending him overboard. It all happened so fast that the Captain and her First mate didn't see him go overboard. He tried swimming back but his armor provided the perfect Anchor for him to slowly descend into darkness. > The Road to Friendship and The Island Fortress Beginning > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Road to Friendship and The Island Fortress Beginning "Death is not your destiny today, little brother." These were the words that awoke Fable from the darkness. When he opened his eyes, he saw that he was lying down on a small patch of land floating over a sea of fog. Sitting up, he noticed the sky above which was ethereal, white like the fog around him; the only thing that he could see was the patch of land he sat upon, which resembled a small island, a gate with the Guild Seal on it, and a plinth. He stood up and found himself near a Cullis gate, a magic portal constructed by the Old Kingdom used by Heroes alike to travel quickly from one place to the other. He looked around and saw no one at first, but taking a step forward a woman wearing a red hood with a white line down the middle appeared before him. Fable felt his muscles tense up at the sight of her. He had an idea of who she was, but his hands defensively cupped around some casted fireballs out of caution. The Hooded woman cocked her head at the sight. "Be at ease little brother,” She assured him. “I cannot harm you here. Nor would I harm any of my kin." Fable extinguished his fireballs, clenching his hands closed into fists and bringing his arms to his side. He then stepped forward and hugged his sister Theresa who embraced his hug, tightly clinging around him, then loosening her grip and patting his back. "It is good to see you again little brother," She commented. Fable then backed away slowly from the embrace and asked the obvious. "Where are we?" "We are in the deeper recesses of your mind. Here there are powers and gifts that can manifest themselves in the real world," Theresa answered. "So this is a place to gain more power?" The gruff hero asked, to which Theresa nodded and turned towards the gate. Fable followed and the guild seal on the gate vanished, the gate opening before them. On the plinth a perfect life-sized statue of himself appeared, wearing his exact clothes and his exact weapons. In front of the gate on either side, ghostly silhouettes appeared. They were of all people he knew. Like the guild master. (Man in the middle.) Whisper (What she looks like.) An Albion Guard (What they look like.) A hooded Apprentice (What they look like.) The Archaeologist (What he looks like.) An Assassin (What they look like.) Briar Rose (What she looks like.) His father Brom. (What he looks like.) His former wife Elvira Grey ( What she looks like.) Flick the Executioner (what he looks like.) Issiah (what he looks like.) The Knothole Glade chief (What he looks like.) Maze (What he looks like.) The Self proclaimed Old Adventure (What he looks like.) His mother Scarlet Robe (What she looks like.) Thunder (Already seen what he looks like but here is a picture of him again.) A Trader (What the traders generally look like.) Gethyn the insane crazy prisoner(What he looks like.) Lady Sophia of the Darkwood Bordello (What she looks like.) Mr. Gout the teacher at the school in Bowerstone (What he looks like.) Nostro (What he looks like.) Scythe (You have already seen him in the first chapter, but here is an image of him anyway.) The Witch of Bowerstone Quay (What she looks like.) Captain Alendia (You have already seen a picture of her in the first chapter, but here is a pic anyway.) And First mate/new daughter Raylyn (You have already seen her in the second chapter, But here's a pic anyway.) He stopped and inspected each of their ghostly forms. He waved his hand through them expecting them to do something, but they both just stood there. Like ghost statues, they stood perfectly still, not even breathing. "These ghostly silhouettes are the friends, acquaintances, rivals, mentors and loved ones of every single person you have met,” Explained Theresa. “They are your allies that have given you power without even realizing it." Fable stared at his sister and she motioned him to follow. They walked through the open gate onto another small piece of land with a plinth and an exact replica of the gate before them. In the middle was a lone chest with the Guild Seal on it; behind the chest was another Cullis Gate. Theresa stood by the chest and noted, "The world you are about to enter is a dangerous one. Will, the source of your power, is nonexistent in this world, and so it will be harder for you to cast such spells that are Will-oriented. But on this road of your mind, chests like these will help you and guide you." She motioned for him to open the chest beside her. Fable opened the chest and got a Gauntlet. He grabbed the chest and it instantly flashed a hue of otherworldly gold, then returned back to normal. The chest then faded a ghostly tint and was now spectral. "Congratulations, you now have Will Gauntlets,” Theresa said as she clapped her hands, applauding Fable. “They will help you cast spells easier and act as a beacon for your Will." Fable opened and closed his hands getting a feel for them; they were nice and firm, making him feel more powerful already. "Try casting a spell at this Hobbe statue," Theresa said standing next to a statue of a Hobbe as it suddenly rose up from the ground, appearing beside her. Fable clenched his hand into a fist then burst open his hand and pointed his palm at the statue. Lightning arched from the palm of his hand directly at the statue, destroying it instantly. "Very good! Now, let us try a moving target." Another Hobbes statue appeared and started strafing from side to side. Repeating the process, he faced his palm at the target, blasting it with more lightning and obliterating it like the last one. "Excellent. Now let's try something that will attack." Like its predecessors, another one appeared from the ground, this time wielding a crude, makeshift rock club. It charged towards him, swinging its club downward at Fable. The hero nobly stepped to the side and brought his palm inches away from the statue’s face, blasting it with more lightning. "Now that you have your new Gauntlets mastered, there is another thing I must show you," She said, stepping on a rising stone platform and walking forward, more stone platforms rising up under her feet, forming a path that led to a gate similar to the one before. Behind the gate appeared to be a Coliseum with banners of the Guild seal covering the place, an archway leading them inside. Just before they entered the inside of it Theresa stopped and turned to face her brother. "In this Coliseum is an enemy unlike any other. Once you defeat it, you will grow more powerful. You will return here again once more powerful enemies appear and you need to conquer them." Fable nodded and proceeded onward. As he stepped onto the Coliseum grounds he saw a lone figure staring forth at him, an armor-clad warrior, almost a doppelganger of him. Once he moved closer it drew a sword from a hidden scabbard and advanced towards him like a predator after its prey. Fable drew his Sword of Aeons, immediately parrying a downward strike from the combatant; their swords clanged each time they met. The Doppelganger made for a flourish, but Fable rushed forward and teleported behind him, stabbing his blade into the enemy’s spine. It stood there motionless after a moment, soon enough fading into a misty shadow; Fable gawked at how it could become translucent. Once it floated to a good few feet away, it separated and split into two, both doppelgangers staring down Fable from a good distance away. The previous clone charged sword-first into battle, while the other warrior seemed to be charging up a fireball, aiming at Fable. Fable quickly parried and, with a twist of the wrist, went for an overhead attack with his blade. The clone blocked the blow by defensively flashing his sword in front of him horizontally just in time. Each time their swords clashed, Fable felt himself being pushed back from those ferocious swipes, causing him to stagger. Just then, the other clone threw his fireball, watching it direct contact with his armor. Though it absorbed most of the impact, he still felt the heat of the blast and his armor also got a nasty scorch mark. Having had enough of this, the gruff hero used his sword as a brace and brought himself up to do battle once more. The doppelganger that blasted him with fire was now chanting and casting what looked like a small golden sword trapped inside a ball, the other barring his path to the other caster. Thinking quickly, Fable summoned his ethereal blades again and the minute they came from the netherworld, they attacked the sword-wielding bastard, leaving the caster a sitting duck. He smirked and shot forth a beam of lighting at the clone, making it lose focus and dissipate into shadow. Fable then took a glance at the other shade and saw that three of his ghostly swords remained, all three impaled into the Shade. The shade was still alive however, drawing out each sword one by one and throwing them onto the ground. The swords would then float back up and proceed to impaling it even more. The hero watched as his doppelganger struggled to remove all three swords from its body, starting to stagger and fall back once they impaled it again and again. Fable then began channeling his will energy into his sword. Running towards the last shade he made an overhead flourish, his blade raised in the air was brought down upon the clone, slicing him in half. When Fable stepped away from the shade the ethereal swords disintegrated and the combatant turned into shadows, leaving behind a darkened Guild seal that had a reddish tint to it. He kneeled down and examined it, tilting his head from side to side, wondering why it was left here. Picking it up it stung with searing heat, but he couldn't let go, the seal oddly stuck to his clenched hand. Gripping his forearm with his other hand, the guild seal glowed red and flashed brightly. Blinded momentarily, he opened his eyes to see the Guild seal merged with his left gauntlet, sensing a sort of darkness from it. Opening and closing his palm to adjust to the new gauntlet, he saw that his armor no longer had a scorch mark on it as well. The world around him then started fading from his vision and he could hear Theresa's voice speak to him once again: "It is time to return back to the real world. The attachment to your gauntlet allows you to tap into your inner darkness, but take heed to not let them corrupt your judgment. We will see each other again, little brother." Daring Do and Trixie were currently on the bridge of their skyship discussing the time with the Captain and when they will be picked up. The captain explained that he will be back in two hours; if they were not back by that time, the duo would have to use their Teleportation scroll to escape. They all then glanced out the window and saw the fortress come into view. It was as the fishermen in the report said: it faded in and out of existence with a swarm of thundering storm-clouds surrounding it along with the Bermane Triangle. The skyship gradually began its descent and touched down close to the water. The captain then told them their U-boat awaited them, the due making their way through the ship over to their U-boat, hearing calls of good luck by various crew members they passed by on the way. Once they reached the U-boat, they strapped themselves into their seats, the skyship then dropping their U-boat into the water, the crew watching them on their course for the Island Fortress. > The Island Fortress and Luna's premonition > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Island Fortress and Luna's premonition Daring and Trixie soon found themselves on the island beachfront. It was like any other typical beach except for a couple of midnight-blue swords, shields, armor, and skeletons. After wincing in disgust for a bit, Trixie took a picture of it all. She then went to pick up one of the swords that were attached to a fully-armored being. The being had two swords attached to its back along with a red bow and a quiver. Daring stopped her and grabbed her assistant’s hand, shaking her head. "Just take the pictures," Daring said. Trixie nodded and took another picture with her camera. When she was done, Daring began leading her into the dark, damp forest ahead of them, trudging through the beautiful, misty surroundings akin to rainforests; only five minutes in, Daring had to take out a machete and start cutting down vines, leaves, bushes, whatever foliage that got in their way. As they trudged through the tropical forest, the island eventually seemed to have an odd peacefulness to it. "Trixie likes this island!” The assistant would proclaim. “All we’d need to do is to get rid of these skeletons and other rubbish, then it could be a great vacation spot." "This might just be my opinion, butI don't think an evil island fortress could be made into a vacation hotspot,” Daring looked back and said, slicing a couple of vines that were blocking their path. “At most if this Island wasn't already part of the Bermane Triangle; it could be a historical landmark. "Trixie wonders why the weather teams can't control the Bermane Triangle." Trixie raised an eyebrow and asked. "Well...” Daring interrupted, taking a breather from swinging around her machete. ”...the Bermane Triangle is basically like the Everfree Forest. No one knows why they act on there own, though it's been speculated that during the Nightmare War, the Bermane Triangle was forged by a really, really powerful mage that wanted to use the Elements against us. Thankfully his spell to create an element that was sentient didn't work and he died. The excess of his power made the Bermane triangle what it is today." "A storm that acts on it's own without weather teams to control it." Daring nodded and continued hacking and slashing at the misty green foliage that was in their path. After quite a trek through the dense jungle, they stopped for another breather. "Say, Daring,” Trixie inquired as she wiped her brow. “Trixie wonders why you didn't let her touch that sword? Surely it would have made a great archeological find." "Well, that sword could have made a great find, but those swords could have been enchanted to prevent people from using them,” Daring looked to Trixie and said. ”Especially on that armored figure on the beach; he could have been a high-ranking officer or a warrior for hire." "Trixie did wonder why that armored figure didn't look like the other ones that all wore Midnight blue," Trixie said while taking a drink from a canteen. "It was probably an unfortunate mercenary that didn't escape the island when the storm hit," She replied, packing up her canteen and machete, going back to hacking and slashing through the forest. "Come on, we got a mask to find and it's probably at that fort right ahead of us." Trixie complied, grabbing her Canteen and following close behind. Seagulls; seagulls and the sound of the ocean hitting the tide. These were the things Fable heard when he opened his eyes from the darkness. Turning over, he sat up with his legs splayed out, back hunched with an arm on each leg. He saw the ocean before him along with a storm in the distance. Fable then stood up from the place he was sitting and scanned the area. It was like any other beach except for the skeletons and gear. Getting curious he went to a skeleton and examined it closely. He'd never seen any type of armor like this before; it seemed to be as strong and well-crafted as his regular chainmail armor back in his storage. For some odd reason it had a strange blue cape with a symbol of a crescent moon on it. Usually he would forget about loot and objects that were completely useless to him, but this armor had a certain appeal to it. So he took the armor from the skeleton, proudly displaying to no one in particular on the beach his new armor. His Archon armor was probably safer and sturdier than this armor, but he did like to mix-and-match his equipment from time to time. He looked around some more to see similar armor and other equipment lying around. Suddenly he felt his foot kick and stub at something on the ground. He looked down to see a matching sword and shield; the shield he didn't really need but the sword interested him the most. He picked it up and gave it a good test swing, then held it in the air like a champion showing off a trophy to people. He then sheathed the sword to the side of his hip, which was placed along his belt to hold. Observing the land around him, he then saw what looked to be like civilization on the horizon somewhere inside the forest. Looking closer at the forest, he saw what appeared to be a just recently made trail. Having nowhere else to go, he entered the misty foliage via the recently made path. Meanwhile in Canterlot Castle, in one of the many corridors of a tall tower was a room that was black as night with a scheme of midnight-blue that dominated most of the color. There in a king-size circular-bed lied a girl tossing and turning, her hair was a moderate cobalt-blue that seemed to flow from side to side as she tossed and turned. This was Princess Luna, famed ruler of dreams and leader of the night. She could feel the work of old magic afoot, anguished as she sat up in her bed, her hair a disheveled mess from the all the restlessness. Throwing off her blankets, she went to her vanity desk which had a very ornate mirror. She wasn't worried about what she looked like, currently clad in her usual midnight-blue nightgown with black embroidered edgings, along with similarly midnight-blue colored panties and bra underneath, striped blue-and-black socks hugging her thighs and feet. She cast a quick spell on the mirror, a cobalt-blue cloud forming in the mirror, swirling and forming a vision of a beachhead. In the mirror she saw a familiar armored figure standing proudly, swinging its sword. Her eyes widened, recognizing it as one of the old Nightmare knights on that beach. Luna then ran to one of her dressers and started digging through various clothes. She took out a black cape with silver embroidering, midnight-blue pants, and a midnight-blue military shirt with a silver button-up, black boots, and a silver mask with a crescent moon on it. She quickly began throwing them all on, then went back to the dresser and picked out a black crown from a clandestine wooden box, almost like a small jewelry chest for a memento. Gazing into the mirror again, she saw the Nightmare knight begin to trek into the forest. She then gripped the grip of her saber and pulled it out of its sheath. Pointing it at the mirror she said. "I will make sure you die like the rest of your kind Knight of Nightmare Moon!" > The Island Fortress Run > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Island Fortress Run Daring Do and her assistant Trixie were halfway to the Fortress on the island. They had encountered more skeletons wearing the exact same armor our hero Fable was wearing. The skeletons seemed to almost be everywhere, some were strung up in trees, some on the ground, others hanging loosely by vines. "Trixie thinks that this many skeletons is not natural." Trixie said while trying to avoid a skeleton on the ground. Daring knelt down and examined some of the skeletal bodies. "Hmm... Trixie I think the storm didn't kill these men. Something else did." Trixie hopped on one leg rather awkwardly trying not to touch any of the skeletons. "So do you think these people had a civil incursion amongst themselves?" Daring nodded no and said. "If these people had a battle amongst themselves I think there would be more bodies on the ground. But look at those guys in the trees, and those that are hung by those vines over there." She pointed and Trixie saw. "These guy are dead almost everywhere. And it looks like they were trying to escape." Daring said while pointing at how all the bodies were mostly facing the way towards the ocean. "So these people were killed by something else more savage that left bodies almost everywhere?" Her assistant asked. Daring nodded continued on their way. Trixie followed closely while observing the jungle around them. She saw something in the distance run on by that was too fast for her too see. "Dadadadaring is it at all possible for anything to live on this Island?" Trixie asked stuttering. "Now Trixie if I didn't know better I'd say your scared of nothing." Daring teased. Trixie looked back and saw another thing run on by with blinding speed. She whimpered and Daring shook her head and said. "Trixie there is nothing on this island. Now granted something might have been, but nothing could survive the Bermane Triangle so you have nothing to worry about." That didn't seem to calm her fears, she dared another glance back and this time saw what something Big hairy and had what looked like yellow eyes. She gulped and screamed, Daring who was caught off guard turned around and couldn't believe her eyes at what she saw. Balverine They both trembled and Daring grabbed Trixie and yelled."RUN!" They both began to run, the Balverine jumped up and landed on a very thick branch. It howled very much like a wolf that howls at a moon. Daring took the lead with Trixie close behind. When they heard the howl that only drove them to run faster. They cleared bushes, trees, shrubbery but they got stopped in their tracks when another Balverine jumped down blocking their path. They decided to run to the right of their original path, and that granted them passage from the Balverine that barred them. The same Balverine ran after them on foot. Meanwhile in the tree's five Balverines where leaping from tree to tree chasing after their prey. Trixie was neck to neck with Daring in running away. "LOOK!" Daring cried out and pointed to a clearing. It was a clearing of thirty feet of chopped down tree's and uprooted stumps with a new batch of grass. Ahead of them stood a fortress that had probably seen the last of it's years. The entrance had one of those old fashioned Portcullis gates. And thank Celestia for them the gate was half open. By now all the Balverines were on the ground giving chase. Seeing as how they might not make it in time Daring took off her backpack Unzipped the top zipper and pulled out a .44 Magnum that had a compass decal.(Just think This with this on the chamber.) She slipped her back pack back on and turned halfway and started popping shots at them. Her aim was true and some of the bullets hit several Balverines. Only one Balverine seemed to die however and the rest just shook it off like it was nothing. Daring reloaded in mid run and Trixie ran ahead to the other side of the gate. When she reached the other side of the gate Daring yelled out. "CLOSE THE GATE!." Hesitating Trixie scrambled to look for the means to close the gate. She saw it when she saw the chains to the gate that connected the gate with a ground switch. She dashed to it and pulled the lever to close the gate. Indiana Jones Theme Song. The gate snapped and was closing fast. Time it self seemed to slow down for Daring Do. She fired off three shots in the direction of the Balverines. Two out of the three hit their targets only to slow them down. She ran towards the closing gate popping off two more shot while trying to escape. The Balverines were gaining on her, she could feel their horrid breath breathe against her skin. Daring was not going to make it on foot, so she did a dive while turning around to fire off her final shot at a Balverine that was too close for her comfort. One of them took the shot to the head, but another one was even closer. As it was about to get her with it's claws the gate closed with the Balverine halfway through and pierced down by the gate. Daring's heart was beating fast as the Balverine tried to reach out for her one last time. It gave up and made a horrible howl and just laid there lifeless. The other Balverines tried to reach through the tiny square holes that their arms could fit into for them. (End song) Trixie watched as the Balverines tried their best to reach for them. Daring dusted herself off of dirt and joined Trixie in her watch of the Balverines. After a few minutes another Balverine joined it's brethren at the gate, but instead howled. The Balverines at the gate all looked to the one Balverine that howled. The one that howled was now doing a series of barks and growls to the ones that were listening. Once it was done the ones listening all howled and started running for the jungle. The one that was left looked at Daring and Trixie through the gates and just snorted and went to join it's brethren. Trixie and Daring looked at each other and Trixie asked. "Why do you think they left?" Daring thought about it while reloading her gun then answered. "Maybe they are regrouping and are trying to find a way back in." "Well lets just find this artifact and get out of here this island is getting stranger by the minute." Daring nodded and led the way to the inner part of the fortress. It had the working of any other fortress a stable, forgery, weapon and armor racks. And to make it all complete skeleton parts everywhere. "Great! More bodies." Daring moaned, they navigated through the sea of skeleton parts. "Hey maybe the Mask is in the inner fortress." Daring said while headed for the inner fortress door. Before she could enter a red ethereal wall formed cutting her access from the inner fortress. They heard something like a breaking through the earth. When they looked around they saw it on the high wall of the fortress. The Evil minion Mage looked at them both and pointed at them with his finger. Then more Evil minions appeared with the same earth shattering sound, except these ones were different. Backed against a wall and nowhere to go the Evil Minion warriors were closing in on Daring and Trixie ready to attack. Daring fired off her gun at the closest one's approaching. This only staggered some, but one got closer. Before Daring could fire at the one that was close it leaped for an overhead strike. Daring covered herself with her arms in hopes the strike would be blocked by her arms. Before the Warrior Minion could kill her a Arrow whizzed as fast as it could be and hit the Warrior Minion. The Minion seemed to crumble apart when the arrow hit. Daring was waiting for the strike but when it didn't come she looked around to the high wall and saw a Blue armored figure with a red bow drawn out. The Minions all looked to him, some cowered in his presence others tightened their grips on their weapons. They instantly knew who that person was, even under different armor they could tell it was the slayer of many of their kin. And also the slayer of their master that they served long ago. They knew it was the Hero Fable. > Island Fortress Battle part one > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Island Fortress Battle part one Our hero Fable was five minutes into the jungle. All was calm and not a creature stirred. He took this opportunity to enjoy the serene beauty of it all. Never before had Fable really got a chance to enjoy his surrounding's. When he first started out his goal was to avenge his family's death. He focused so much on that goal, it consumed his life. After he found out that his sister was alive his goal became even more of that priority. After he slayed Jack of Blades in his human form he went on a binge of evil deeds. For he had failed to save his only mother from him, and his sister had left him alone in the world. These acts of evil were mostly sacrificing people to the Temple of Skorm. After he sacrificed a good amount he got the weapon Skorm's bow, The weapon it self was augmented with lightning and a Sharpening augment. It was the most powerful ranged weapon he had in his arsenal. He had used it so much it replaced his Arken's crossbow. Another legendary weapon he acquired from a chest in Darkwood lake. While Fable thought about these things he wondered if his newly acquired sword had any special properties. Most of his weapons had an augment or two. Rarely he would acquire a weapon with three augments in them. And for some odd reason he had a Frying pan with five augments. The augments in that questionable weapon were a Health, Mana, Sharpening, Piercing, and his personal favorite for killing Balverines Silver. He never used that weapon much cause his enemies would laugh at him until he killed them with it. It was fun killing people with such a blunt object that was as sharp as any sword. Or able to pierce any armor, but time passes and he grew bored with using such a ridiculous weapon. He still kept it as a precaution he might need it again someday. As he was remembering old times that he used the Frying pan to hit Hobbes with and send them flying into the air a scream rang out through the jungle making him focus on it than the fond memory's of his. He looked around for the person who enacted the scream but then heard another person yell out run. He ran in the general direction of the yell. After a slight jog an enemy he was too familiar with jumped down barring his path. This enemy was the Balverine. He hated fighting these Balverines, they were fast, agile, and a menace that needed to be extinguished. And he was gonna do just that to this one. Grabbing his weapon from the waist he took a battle ready stance and waited for the Balverine to make the first move. The Balverine growled and charged his opponent. Fable Already had a plan, he would use Assassin's Rush and hack him apart with his sword. He waited for the right moment while the Balverine charged. Fable was calm and collected, he had done this strategy countless time's when facing Balverine's. As the Balverine ran closer and closer he activated his spell, but it didn't work. As he was wondering why his spell didn't work the Balverine tackled him down. It was about to begin tearing him apart with it's claws, but the spell decided to work and Fable was several feet into the air. While in the air Fable quickly turned his body and stabbed the Balverine through the back of his chest. His body fell onto the Balverine, lucky for him he had stabbed the beast through the heart. Getting up he gazed at the now lifeless Balverine before him. Then his mind raced towards why his Assassin Rush spell didn't work. Usually the spell was instantaneous, but this one took a good while to activate. He then remembered what his sister said while he was in the deeper recesses of his mind. "The world you are about to enter is a dangerous one. Will the source of your power Is nonexistent in this world, and so it will be harder for you to cast such spells that are Will oriented. But on this Road of your mind Chest's like these will help you in this world." He recounted her words exactly to the letter. He gazed at his left hand, he wore the same blue gauntlet he got from skeleton on the beach. Waggling his finger's he felt nothing underneath them. Deciding to take off the blue Gauntlet he stabbed his sword into the ground and took it off. When he was done the same Gauntlet he got from the chest was there. It had the same Dark red Guild seal attachment on it, opening and closing his hand it felt like he wasn't wearing anything on it. Putting his blue gauntlet over the other one he remembered his task at hand. Now that he had solved the mystery of his spell's going haywire he continued heading towards the direction of where the person yelled. Eventually he entered an area with skeleton bodies everywhere. He knew whoever yelled was running away so the question was in which direction did they go. Looking around he saw nothing for a minute or two, another minute and he saw freshly made footprints. He wondered if the people he heard yelling were alright and whether or not the Balverines were still chasing them or had met a gruesome end. With a path set he started running, after a couple minutes of following the tracks he heard a howl. This confirmed his suspicions that the people Fable was looking for were still being chased. He quickened his pace and was in full sprint, hoping he could save whoever was in trouble. As he kept sprinting a Balverine watched as he ran in the direction of where his brethren went. It saw what it wore and thought it was one of their oppressing master's from long ago. The people that wore that armor tortured and starved his kind, and sent them to die or fight between themselves. This Balverine had a mission to make sure this Oppressor died like the rest, but she would need help. Jumping from tree to tree the Balverine headed in the direction to warn and find it's brethren. Fable could sense another presence while he was running, he didn't know for sure but he had a hunch. And his hunches were usually correct. As he continued following the footprints he could hear gunfire in the distance. That made him think for only a second about his own gun. Ever since he got it, it felt like a foreign power in his hand. He also kinda didn't know how to function it. Fable knew how to pull the trigger and it would fire, but that was mostly all he knew about it. "If only I asked Alendia how to make this thing work." He thought. Once he thought that his mind raced back to the rather unfortunate surprise he got from her. He wondered if they escaped that storm and are still alive. He decided to put it out of his mind and refocus on the task at hand. Meanwhile the Balverine had long passed him and was getting to the clearing to see her brethren trying to reach something through a closed gate. She ran through the clearing passing two of her deceased brothers to tell them an oppressor is alive. She howled to get the attention of his brethren, she then spoke to them in their language that only they could understand. "Brothers our time to end the oppressor is at hand, he comes this way to reclaim us as slaves or end us. He has already ended one of our brothers we must end him before our fate is sealed." After she spoke her words her brethren all did a battle cry howl and started running past him. She took this moment to see what it was they were after. She saw another dead brother and two females. This brought hope to her for they would be stuck in the fort and she could convert them and make more Balverine brethren. The reason for this hope was that all the female Balverines had long been exterminated with only the males to survive. And leaving her to be the only Alpha Female left.Snorting she put his mind back on the goal and left to rejoin his brothers in what would be a glorious victory. Our hero was getting nearer and nearer to the jungle's end. He saw however four Balverines headed his way. He stopped a sec and drew out his Skorm's bow. Drawing out an arrow from his quiver he cocked back the string on his bow and aimed at the four enemies headed his way. This was a perfect opportunity for a Multi Arrows spell, but he wondered if it would fail him like the Assassin's Rush did earlier. Well there was only one way to find out. He casted the spell and saw the same white glow that surrounded the whole entire bow every time he cast it. Firing off he saw his arrow head straight towards the enemies. It did fail him for it usually shot a flurry of glowing arrows at his enemies. His arrow managed to hit a Balverine that was in the rear of the group. He staggered and stayed behind to pull the arrow out of his body. The other three were headed straight for him. He put his bow back and drew out the sword from his waist for what was about to be a hard battle. The one Balverine that took out the arrow also joined in. The arrow that was on the ground laid motionless the next second it glowed white and out came fifteen magic arrows that went like heat seeking missiles towards the four Balverines. Fable was astounded at this near save, sheathing his sword he breathed a sigh of relief. He continued down the path and saw another Balverine. The Balverine seemed to be entranced, maybe it saw his brethren die by the magic arrows. The Balverine gave up hope. She was gonna die by this oppressor that had killed her brother's so easily. She crouched motionless ready for her own swift end. Fable looked at this Balverine curiously, it had obviously given up which was rare for Balverines for they fought to the end. This one was special from the rest of the ones he killed, it was intelligent. Usually the fabled White Balverines were the smart ones, but this one had a mind of it's own. Regardless this Balverine could have killed the people on this island or worse turn them into one of them. He unsheathed his sword brought it up high and swung down to end his life. He stopped himself a mere inch away from his face. The Balverine stared at her oppressor she waited for her own swift end,but it hesitated. He was probably going make me be a slave again she thought. The oppressor sheathed back his sword and offered her a hand up. The Balverine stared at it questioningly. "Why is this oppressor showing kindness?" The Balverine thought. It must have all been a ruse to lower her guard. The lone Balverine just snorted and got up of her own accord. She immediately jumped to a nearby tree, her thoughts a maze of confusion. Our hero just stared as the Balverine left him. Focusing on the matter at hand he redoubled his tracking of the trail to find out the fate of the people on this island. He came to a clearing with a fortress in the middle of it. The gates were closed so the people could have taken refuge inside. He saw a nearby ladder that seemed to climb up to the wall. He scaled it closeing in on the top when he heard some more gunfire. He forced himself to climb the last leg of ladder and brought out his Skorm's bow and an arrow. He didn't know if he could save them in time so he immediately casted his slow time spell. He saw Minions that he never wanted to see again. And they were closing in on two females backed up against a wall. The effects of his Slow time spell started kicking in and he fired at the one Minion warrior that was about to attack the two females. His aim was true, but as the arrow got closer the Slow Time spell seemed to be wearing off rather quickly. He figured this was the effect of this world and the lack of will energy in it. He saw the Minion shatter into pieces as the arrow hit it's target. Once the Minion that fell to his demise the rest of them all stared to where the arrow was fired from. Fable stood there like a badass his cape seemed to flow with the wind. The Minion's cowered before him while others gripped the handle of their weapons even tighter. They knew who he was, for he was infamous amongst their kind. He was the slayer of their master Jack of Blades, he was the slayer of their kind, and he was the hero Fable the Deathbringer. The moment died when a third of all the Minions started heading his way. He saw one or two head towards the two females and Fable took action. Rowsing up his bow again he fired another arrow at one of the Minions that was advancing on the two girls. The Minion seemed to have a sixth sense for it dodged the arrow and looked up to him. He readied another arrow intent on distracting the other Minion as well, but a white ball was headed in his direction. He knew that this was the Minion mages will projectile. It was devastating when it makes contact, quickly dodging the blast he saw all of the Minion warrior's on the ground were now on the wall with him ready to take him down. This many Minion's would be a problem for he could not rely on his will that very much, and going sword to sword combat with them all would be suicide without backup. He would need to rely on his ranged weapon for even they had difficulty blocking a fast arrow. Another arrow was rowsed from it's quiver and Fable Jumped off the wall while firing an arrow at the horde of Minions on the wall. Landing in what was the inside of the Fort he rowsed up another arrow to fire at the lone Minion mage that was on the opposite wall of the one he jumped off of. Releasing it sailed through the air about to hit it's target, but the mage fired off another Will projectile incinerating the arrow. Now that he was on the inner side of the fort he thought of a plan. One that he hoped would work. The two Minions started lumbering their way towards our hero ready to attack. He drew out his sword from his hip hoping he wasn't making a mistake with fighting them one on one. The first minion that was closest went for a downward attack. Fable blocked and their blades made a clang. The Minion warrior scraped his double edged blade against our hero's lone sword. Fable used his other weapon in his hand and punched the Minion causing him to stagger. The other Minion went for a sideways swing, Fable just rolled forward avoiding the swing altogether. Once he was clear of the two Minions he ran towards the two females. They both seemed to be awestruck by Fable's moves, he ran to where they were at and faced his back towards them to protect them. He asked "Are you two alright?" They both nodded their heads and Fable readied another arrow. The Minions started gathering around them all. Trixie started panicking. "What are we going to do there are too many of them." Fable turned his head to look at the girls he saw that Daring was reloading her gun. Once he saw the whole reloading process complete he had a general idea on how make his function for him. The Minion's kept getting closer and closer, the three were backed against a wall that was also an exit. Yet they couldn't escape. Fable saw the Minion Mage taunt them on the wall, but he also saw the same Balverine behind him. The Balverine howled and attacked the Minion mage. She was on top of him tearing him apart with her claws. Several Minion warriors saw this and headed for the wall. The Minion Mage broke apart indicating it's death, She howled with ferocity and the Minion warriors were fazed by this. With the barrier between our three hero's gone they bolted to the second level of the fortress. The Female Alpha Balverine roared another vicious howl, a howl that would bring her brethren to battle. A Minion warrior saw that a mass of Balverine's started pouring out of the jungle and were running towards the fort. It called it's brethren to be ready for battle. The female Alpha Balverine battled off two Minion warriors and jumped into the inner fort. It charged through the Minions and followed the three that retreated. > Luna's Worries > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna's Worries Princess Luna was hurrying through the halls to reach a certain room. Guards in their golden armor with blue headdress's saluted her as she walked by, but she payed them no heed. A pressing matter had presented it self to her in her dreams. A knight from the old Nightmare regime has resurfaced and on a Fortress that had long been engulfed by the mysterious Bermane Triangle. She had used a spell to track the knight on her mirror and saw only him walking into a jungle. She had wished to go immediately and destroy the last remnant of Nightmare's accursed forces. Though if she had ended up going without at least telling her older sister, Princess Celestia would probably send out an army to search for her. She had now reached her sister's very chamber doors. Out side two guards in high class golden armor stood guarding the door. Each wore a Trojan like helmet that covered their faces in a mysterious black. They bore a longsword to their hips and had white lances that stood to their side. When she approached the door the two guards blocked her path with the white lances crossing each other. She was already getting irritated and said. "I order thee to stand down for I must see my sister about a pressing matter." The two guards looked to each other and the left one said. "I am sorry your Highness, But Princess Celestia is in the middle o-." "I DON'T CARE IF SHE IS DOING SOMETHING A VERY PRESSING MATTER HAS AWAKENED AND I NEED TO ADDRESS MY SISTER ABOUT IT ACCORDINGLY." She bellowed using the Royal Canterlot Voice. The two guards immediately brought their lances to their sides allowing her able to pass. She proceeded and opened the double door with her magic. Once inside she saw her Sister at a table probably writing something down. Her hair flowed with a light cerulean, light turquoise, very light cobalt blue and a pale heliotrope rainbow. She wore a white with gold edges cape that covered her white with gold edge military shirt. And her white military pants. To her side a gold hilted sword lay in it's dark brown sheathe. On her head she wore a gold crown. "You know dear sister there is protocol that even you must follow. That or you could at least knock and not use the Royal Voice, I would've let you in either way." She stood up to address her younger sister, a look of seriousness on her face. The younger sister stood with the same determination that she had in her room when confronting the mirror with the knight. "This matter needed to be addressed right away and their wasn't time for Protocol or pleasantries." Princess Luna stated. "I can unfortunately hear that, so tell me what is the matter?" Princess Celestia asked, the younger ruler took a deep breath and said with all the seriousness in the world. "Nightmare Moon is about to return!" There was a silence that omitted the room. Then Princess Celestia started laughing up a storm. "OH BOY." Celestia said between laughs. "That was a good one." she finally regained her composure and said."I needed a good laugh today." She looked at her younger sister whose face was dead serious. "Your serious?" Celestia asked, Luna nodded and the older sister's eyes widened. Celestia sat back down trying to digest all this in. Looking up to her sister she asked. "Are you certain Luna?" Luna nodded and said. "As certain as the soldier that is still alive." Celestia's eyes widened and she asked. "How do you know that this soldier is alive?" "I had a dream, a dream that showed me that one of them was alive. Then I used a scrying spell to search for him and I found him on one of the last remaining fortress's that still belong to Nightmare Moon. And If one survived there is bound to be more." "The Island that was engulfed by the Bermane Triangle." "That very one." Both were silent to this revelation Celestia then asked. "Show me!" Luna nodded and headed towards Celestia's mirror before she casted the spell Celestia stopped her and said. "Please perform the spell on the flat screen that way we can hear if they say anything." Luna nodded and headed towards Celestia's flat screen TV. Casting the same spell she did in her room the Screen went from black to slowly turning into a lush jungle environment. They both took a seat in front of the screen watching as it turned to a familiar figure in armor walking. Both of them had their eyes widened when they saw him. "So they are alive." Princess Celestia finished. They continued watching him as our hero looked around the jungle enjoying it's beauty. They saw him then admire his weapon to his waist that's when Luna noticed the weapon's on it's back. "I don't remember any of them having those types of weapon's on their guard." Celestia arched an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. They both saw the figure react to a scream followed by a very loud run. They both wondered who was in trouble, but continued watching our hero. After Fable performed a slight jog for our two Princesses he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw a Balverine. Celestia lowly said. "Werewolves still live." The figure mimicked our hero's movement and drew out it's sword from the waist. It waited as the same Balverine charged towards him. The same results happened as the Balverine tackled him down and almost began tearing him apart. Suddenly he blinked out of existence and was in the air. Both Princesses eyes widened as they saw him teleport into the air and he turned around to stab the Balverine through the back of it's chest. The figure then stood there looking at the Balverine almost like he was thinking. After Fable was done thinking he reenacted taking his gauntlet off and stared at the one he was wearing underneath it. After a minute Fable put his gauntlet back on and repeated the process of running. They both saw the environment he was in after our hero made another stop. "So much death." Luna murmured. Fable then looked around on the ground for tracks on the screen. Once he found a trail he immediately started sprinting. They watched as he sprinted and heard an occasional gun fire sound off. "If there are people on that Island they could be in trouble from both the forces of Nightmare Moon and these werewolves." Luna nodded to Celestia's words and proceeded up, but she saw our hero take out a bow and it glowed white. He fired a single arrow and it hit the same Balverine in the rear of the group. The Balverine did the same thing of taking out the arrow from it's body. "I've never seen that type of bow before." Celestia noticed her sister's words and continued gazing at the screen. Like before the arrow on the ground glowed white and out came fifteen arrows that targeted the Balverines. With eye's widened Princess Luna blurted out saying. "THEY HAVE BEEN LEARNING POWERFUL MAGIC WHILE WE WERE BANISHED." Princess Celestia started having doubts of whether or not this was one of Nightmare Moon's forces from long ago. Though her sister was right this person had powerful magic, to be able to teleport was not unheard of but the figure did it without seeming to concentrate. And the magic arrows that killed those werewolves, sure you could do it with an illusion but he seemed to make them out of nowhere. She turned her head back to the screen where Fable was about to kill a Balverine. She waited for the kill, but it never came. Luna's mouth stood agape as they saw our hero sheathe it's sword and offer it a hand. Like before the Balverine was unsure of what to do and jumped to a tree seeming to escape. They saw Fable run and head for a fortress the gates were closed so he climbed a nearby ladder. Both Princesses heard gunfire and watched as he scaled the ladder and brought his bow. They saw what he saw wondering what they were. The screen seemed to stop moving. Both sisters looked to each other and Luna asked. "Did you pause the Screen or something?" Her sister nodded her head no and continued gazing at the screen. Several seconds later everything started moving and they heard a sound like earth shattering. The strange creatures all looked up to Fable and as before some cowered and others tightened their grips on their weapons. Our hero stood there in all his glory his cape bellowing in the wind. Celestia didn't really care about his flashy entrance and tried to get a good look at the two people in trouble. The screen momentarily passed over to where Fable was firing arrows at, in that time The Minion's repeated their action of going up the stairs with two Minions left behind to advance on Daring Do and Trixie. Luna's eye's widened as she saw one of her idols on the screen. It was then she bursted out saying. "THAT'S THE ARCHAEOLOGIST DARING DO. WHAT IS SHE DOING THERE!" The screen changed to were Fable fired an arrow at one of the minions advancing towards them. It dodged the attack and gazed at him. Our hero Fable almost rowsed up another arrow but the Minion Mage made sure he couldn't with his white will projectile. Dodging Fable jumped from the wall into the inner fortress and fired an arrow at the mass of Minion Warriors advancing towards him on the wall. With quick speed another arrow was drawn and aimed at the Minion Mage. It would have hit but the Mage used his will projectile to incinerate the arrow. Now that he was on the ground the two lumbering Minion warriors charged at our hero. Fable drawled out his sword and performed the actions of blocking and punching him with the bow in his other hand. The other one came with the same side swinging motion and he dodged again by rolling forward. It was then that both sister's had enough of this. "Sister I want you to get a contingent force ready, we are putting a stop to this." Luna nodded and went out to get the force ready. Celestia took one last look at the screen and saw our hero Fable standing between the two females and the whole Minion warrior mass. Grabbing the remote she said. "I hope that you are the only one left of Nightmare Moon's forces." She then turned off the TV and headed out of her room. > A Captain her Firstmate and a Revolutionary Crew > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Captain her Firstmate and a Revolutionary Crew Captain Alendia was standing on the port side of the upper deck. It had been well roughly thirty minutes since the ship was deliberately driven into a storm. Though the storm drove them off course from Samarkand they have been more or less drifting on the ocean. The reason for this was a very special cargo that was important to the Captain had fallen overboard. The crew and the first mate all knew in their minds that they would never again see the Captains one night stand lover. Every time a person that usually bed's the Captain always seemed to meet an end. The crew knew that it wasn't fate that ended those who bedded her, for Alendia deliberately killed all her lovers who didn't live up to her expectations. Most of the time when she killed her Bedder's She made it look like an accident. She would very rarely just bluntly get a gun and shoot them. While the crew had these thoughts the Captain had different one's. All she could think about was how this man who she drugged and was about to rape took over and threw her expectation's of every man she bedded, out the window. Long ago she remembered when her daughter Raylyn was born her father was a man with initiative. She thought that man was the person for her, later she found out that he was the scum of the earth. Lying, manipulative and a scoundrel he left her to take care of a child on her own. Fortunately he fucked with the wrong female Assassin. With connections to every known bandit group in Albion her husband was hunted down and brought to her alive. She then took the liberty of torturing and maiming some of his body parts. Then she sacrificed him to the Temple of Skorm and got Magical Augmented throwing knives from the cultists.(What the knives look like.) They were six in all each with three of the same augment, the nature of each augment was Fire, Lightning, Sharpening, Piercing, Silver, Health Augmentations. One for each knife, now every time she uses one or all six they magically respawn back to her. She was also quite skilled in throwing them as well as concealing them. Their original name was Skorm's teeth but Alendia renamed them the Six Siren's. She felt it necessary to have a weapon for the sea's when she gave up being a assassin. And with all the money she made from assassinations she had a very very hefty amount of it left to pay for a crew and a ship. Though money would not fill the hole in her heart and the unstable erratic ideals of the crew that were slowly getting to them all. It was then that the First Mate was walking to her Captain to have a talk with her. "Alendia you have to stop this. Searching for an already dead person is gonna make the crew start mutinying. We could already be trying to get out of this predicament and sail for Samarkand like we planned." Her Captain paid no heed to her words she merely just continued staring at the ocean. "Mom you have to think of the crew if they get to thinking that you are using them needlessly to search for one man they will mutiny." Alendia continued staring at the open sea before her, Raylyn didn't want to say this but her mother wasn't even responding to her. "Mom He was just one man who you were going to kill anyway. It's not like he lived up to anyone's expectations especiall-" The Captain turned around and slapped her daughter. Raylyn was stricken back a few feet, her hand on the spot where she was slapped. Never in her life had her own mother ever slapped her. "How do you know?" The Captain asked. "How do you know I was going to kill him?" Alendia stated. Some of the crew that was nearby were now watching the exchange between the Captain and First Mate. Captain Alendia stared at her daughter giving her full attention which she wanted, Steeling herself Raylyn said. "You were going to kill him because it's what you do. No man has and probably ever will live up to your expectations." The Captain furrowed her eyes and kept a calm demeanor. The crew was all surprised at their Captains next actions. It all happened so fast you wouldn't be able to see it. From the sleeve of her coat a concealed knife appeared in her hand. The Captain then pressed the knife to her First Mates neck to feel the sharpness of the blade. Raylyn flinched away thinking her mother was about to kill her. She brought a hand to her neck and brought it away slowly to see she had a minor prick that dropped out a little blood. Though not enough to seriously kill her. With a frown on her face she said rather sadistically. "You don't know anything about me. You don't know anything of my expectations. And you damn sure as well don't know why I killed all those other people." She stepped closer to her daughter and she took a step back. "You think I killed all of those people cause they didn't live up to my expectations." the same process happened when she took another step closer and she took a step back. "Do you want to know why they all died. They all died BECAUSE THEY WERE SELF IMPORTANT ASSHOLES LIKE YOUR FATHER." She took another step this time grabbing the collar of her daughters shirt. "They died CAUSE ALL THEY WANTED WAS TO HOARD OUR GOLD, ROB US BLIND, HAVE THEIR WAY WITH US AND LEAVE BROKEN HEARTS OF LOVE." She shoved her daughter away which she went to the safety of the crew. Alendia took a look of all the crew members that were watching and screeched out. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL STANDING AROUND FOR, FIND MY DAMN LOVER ALREADY!" The crew immediately dispersed to their respective stations, Alendia resumed her staring of the sea. Trying with all her heart to will it to bring back her new loved one. As she stared at it Raylyn gathered a few of the crew mates and went down to the lower decks of the ship. While she waited below the crew gathered some more crew that would attend to this urgent meeting being held by the First Mate. Twenty minutes later and a rough estimate of sixty people were attending the meeting. In the room that was serving as the meeting hall for them a single table with a chair stood in the room. On that chair is where Raylyn sat with a Grey, Tan, Black cat on her lap. Once all the people in the room were settled Raylyn stood up and put the cat on the table. "I have called you all to this meeting cause we have a crisis on our hands." Some people started murmuring amongst themselves. Raylyn raised a hand up and everyone became silent. "As some of you have no doubt seen or heard my mothers outburst. I have taken it into my own hands to fill the needs of the crew. Who here thinks the Captain is using her crew to search for one man only to kill later." There was a silence. "Well come on raise your arms." Nearly everyone raised their arms. "Well that settles it we are going to relieve the Captain of her duties, until her mind is in the right place. Then we will set sail for Samarkand like we originally planned." Most of the crew started murmuring to themselves, One particular pirate had left the group, he walked with the utmost haste weaving through other crew members to get to the top deck. As he stepped out into the upper deck he prepared himself for what lies ahead. Walking over to were the Captain was standing he prepared his to confront her. "Do you know your daughter is planning a mutiny down below." Alendia just stood there continuing to stare at the sea. "Aren't you gonna do anything to stop them?" Alendia answered. "No Grandpa I aint gonna do a thing till she confronts me." He smiled and said. "I aint your granpa and my name is Pete if you still remember it." She turned around and smiled at Pete. "I know Pete I just love giving you a hard time." "HMPH... Well instead of giving CRAZY old me a hard time you can tell me what your plan is." "You still don't like being called Crazy Old Pete do you." Pete harrumphed and said. "Still haven't told me your plan for this mutiny yet." she turned back around to face the sea slowly and said. "Whats there to plan I'll just kill all of those who defy me." Raising an eyebrow Pete said. "That is the most horrible plan in the world." Alendia lowered her head and started laughing. This caused some of the crew that were around to stare. Most of them started thinking maybe she is crazy, then Alendia shouted. "GET BACK TO WORK YOU SLACKERS." This caused them to immediately go back to resuming their jobs, and even ask more questions of how she knew they weren't working. Pete chuckled at some of the crews misfortune. "It seems your maternal instincts haven't softened yet." "Well I got to keep them sharp if I have to show them not to mess with me." Pete took a step closer and put a hand on Alendia's shoulder. "Aye that ye do, that ye do." Alendia took a deep sigh and asked. "If I have to fight my own crew will you help me at least?" Pete put on a smile and answered. "Well I can probably take on the crew while you take down your mutinying daughter, just don't expect me to go easy on them." Alendia smiled, she could always depend on those that were loyal to her. "When this is all over I think I'll make you my First Mate. Always needed a man with knowledge and complete loyalty." They both heard a plethora of footsteps headed in their direction. They turned around to be greeted by sixty men and a mutinying First mate. "Captain we have come to a conclusion that you are unfit to lead this ship and must be replaced until you are back to your senses." The First mate/daughter stated for all to hear. Alendia crossed her arms and shook her head no. "You think I am gonna let you take over my ship, Hah like that will ever happen." Raylyn narrowed her eyes and pointed a finger at her mother. "You are needlessly using your crew to search for a person who is lost at sea that we will never see again. You will either forget this business and take command or Hand it over to us and we will go back to our business." Pete took a look at Alendia and she did the same. He motioned for the hatch at the front of the ship with his head. Alendia nodded and turned her head back to the mutinying crew before her. "Alright it seems you all wont listen to me so this is how we are gonna do it. All those who are still loyal to me step forward." None of the crew did except the cat. The cat waltzed on over to her beloved captains side and rubbed her head against her legs. Alendia smiled cause her loyal cat Samhain had chosen her instead of the mutinying crew. She gave him to Pete and said. "Keep him safe and out of harms way." Turning back to the rest of the crew she said. "Anyone else that is still loyal please step forward." Again no one stepped forward. "Now for those who don't want to die and for all those non essential crew personal I want you to go down to the lower decks." Five of the mutinying soldiers went below with the non essential personal crew that was on the deck. Sighing Alendia hoped for more of the mutineers to go down below with them. "Alright all of you take your best shot." As is in formation they all brought out various flintlock pistols and rifles out. They took point and were prepared to fire. Raylyn gave the signal by raising her hand and lowering it down. Pete dashed for the hatch taking cover behind some barrels from the fire. Alendia dashed over the railing and took cover by hanging off the side of the ship. Another line of shot's fired and Pete was pinned down. Alendia shimmied to the side and brought out her Bladed pistols. Doing a duck and cover she fired her shots into the mass of mutineers hitting one in the shoulder. A plethora of shots fired in her direction and she ducked back down. Pete along with Samhain dashed to the hatch and he opened it up and jumped down inside. The fire was now entirely focused on The Captain, she continued her only option of duck and covering then firing when they didn't fire. Raylyn ordered the mass to start taking cover behind anything and continue firing. Having getting tired of being pinned down she brought out one of the six sirens and threw it at a barrel. The Knife made contact and immediately exploded causing those behind the barrels to get obliterated from the impact. Raylyn knew that her mother had started using her Throwing knives. This could be a problem for her and those on her side for even one could be devastating. They continued firing at the captain completely unaware that from the hatch Pete rose along with Samhain and the most devastating cannon on the ship with a table full of ammunition to aid it.. Raylyn saw it by the corner of her eye and forgot about it completely. There would be no winning now cause of it. Pete aimed the Gatling gun at a group of people behind some cover and released hell on them. It made a sound of repeating gun fire each time Pete cranked the handle.(What it sounds like) The bullets ripped past the makeshift cover the group of riflers were using and embedded themselves into their body's. They were hit hard and blood could be seen flowing out of their body's. After a full minute of continuous firing Pete paused to reload. Mutineers started firing at him causing him to duck while still reloading. Alendia brought out another knife and threw it pass some mutineers. Lightning coursed through the ship hitting any and all mutineers along the way electrocuting them to death. Alendia took more cover as bullets started flying past her head. Pete had finished reloading the Gatling gun and assaulted another group of mutineers behind cover. Alendia got out from her covering point and barrel rolled to another position. Using her bladed pistols as swords she started slicing through Mutineers to get to her daughter. Raylyn saw her mother headed towards her and had to do something about it. She ordered any and all mutineers to focus their fire on Pete while she deals with her mother. They complied and focused their fire on Pete. Happening to reload he took more cover. Raylyn brought out her special cutlass a gift from her very mother herself, which she named The Tidereaper. Raylyn brought down her Cutlass down upon her mother and Alendia blocked by crossing her blade pistols together. In a swift movement Alendia scissored her daughters sword and made Raylyn lose her grip on it with a circular twist motion. While her blade pistols scissored the sword she swung it to a nearby barrel and made it stuck there. She then aimed one of her pistols at her daughter and said. "Check mate." With that single word the mutineers all stopped firing cause their leader had been stopped. They threw down their guns and surrendered. Alendia called out to the crew below in the lower decks and some slowly started coming out to see the wreckage of the ship. Bullet holes seemed to be everywhere and broken barrels were in several places. The Captain motioned for two crew mates to come on over by her side. She ordered the mutineers be locked up along with her daughter as well. They took them below deck to the cells and the others started repairing of the ship. Pete walked from the Gatling gun to his Captain and gave her back the cat. Alendia happily took Samhain and nuzzled him, she then heard the sound of seagulls and saw some headed towards an island. It looked like an old fortress with overgrown jungle. Alendia told Pete to plot a course for the island so they can gather supply's and she also had a feeling her Lover was there as well. > Mobilizing the Elements and Island Fortress Battle Part two > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mobilizing the Elements and Island Fortress Battle Part two I was a beautiful day out in Ponyville. The sun was up high, wind blew through gently and five females were busy watching a sixth female put up party decorations. These females were the fabled bearers of the Elements of Harmony. Each represented a certain Element, the first is Twilight Sparkle who represents the Element of Magic. The second is Applejack the Element of Honesty, Rainbow Dash the Element of Loyalty, Fluttershy the Element of Kindness, Rarity Element of Generosity and Pinkie Pie the Element of Laughter. Each wore a different outfit that told a little bit about them. Twilight wore a purple uniformed medium sized dress with a white sleeved undershirt and a matching Purple vest. On the shoulder of her undershirt was a stitched version of her cutie mark which was usually on her thighs. She also wore short purple sneakers that also had her cutie mark stitched into them. Applejack wore her signature brown ten gallon hat along with an orange with black lined squared long sleeve shirt and Blue denim jeans. Her cutie mark was stitched onto the back pockets of her jeans To complete the outfit she wore brown leather cowboy boots or in this case cowgirl boots. Rainbow Dash was much simpler with a white undershirt emblazoned with her cutie mark and a cyan hoodie. To go with it was some blue jeans and a pair of grey worn out skater shoes. Fluttershy wore a white tank top with a folded down yellow sweater. At the bottom of her sweater her cutie mark was stitched into it. To complete it she wore a green long skirt and pink loafers. Rarity's was more elegant in a matter of speaking. She wore a silk white long sleeve shirt with a equally white work skirt. And to finish it off was white Flats. Her cutie was over the heart area of her shirt. And last but not least Pinkie pie wore a pink shirt with her cutie mark on the front of it. To finish it was blue shorts, white socks and yellow sneakers. (Note they all wear white socks ) All five girls watched as Pinkie Pie go from wall to wall putting up random party decorations. The room was filled with all the necessary things like a table piled with a bunch of food. some party games and a DJ booth. What was out of place of the party was a wood barrel with a label that said Applejack Daniels that Pinkie's good friend Applejack brought over. There was also some kegs in ice to keep it nice and cold. Each friend was wondering why Pinkie had these out of place products that she never usually had at her parties. This is when Twilight stepped forward to get an answer as to why Pinkie has these products for this party. "Ugh Pinkie I know you said that you didn't want any help, but I gotta ask why do you have beer at this party?" Pinkie only stopped for a fraction of a second to face Twilight. She put her hand on her chin then as if a light bulb dinged in her head she answered. "This party is for a special very magical special person who likes beer." Pinkie went straight back to work before Twilight could ask who this person was. She looked to the rest of her friends who merely shrugged. When Pinkie was about to dash by Twilight to put up some more decorations, Twilight stepped in front of her intent on getting an answer as to who this person was. Pinkie stopped and was walking in place with her attention on Twilight." Twilight I got to get through your wasting my Party assembling time." Those word fell on deaf ears for Twilight just said. "Pinkie who is this Special person your putting the party for?" Pinkie stopped walking in place and answered not answering her question. "Silly Twilight I said he was a Special magical Special person, not a Special person." As if like a ninja she passed her annoyed friend to get to the wall and set up some random decoration. Twilight Used her magic to teleport in front of Pinkie and said. "Pinkie I want you to tell me who this person is." Pinkie giggled and answered. "Why he's the hero you play as in the first Fable game." She then bounded off to another wall to set up more decorations only to be stopped by Rainbow Dash who stood in her path to the wall to ask. "What first Fable game?" "What Fable game?" Pinkie asked her like she didn't even know what that was. Then Twilight walked over and put her voice into the conversation as well. "And whose this Hero you said was coming over." "What Hero?" Pinkie said obliviously. "The Hero you said that we can play as in this Fable game that you said." Twilight answered accusingly. As if it all came back Pinkie laughed and said. "Oh you mean that hero he's just a warrior who knows magic called Will and has all of his stats to the max." Twilight glared at Pinkie who was oblivious to it and just happily bounded to another wall to set up decorations. As this was happening there was a knock on the door to which Fluttershy answered. "Ugh hello." she said quietly. At the door was a Royal Elite Magic Guard. The guard stood there staring making Fluttershy very uncomfortable. Finally he spoke up. "Are you the bearer to Element of Kindness?" Fluttershy nodded and the guard seemed to relax. Then he continued. "By Order of Princess Celestia you are to come with me and help find the other bearers." He said sternly. Fluttershy weakly nodded and left the door open so the guard can see the inside. Fluttershy went to Applejack and tugged her sleeved shirt gently. This got her attention and she turned to Fluttershy. "Whats up sugarcube?" "Um. Ugh. Well theirs one of Celestia's guards at the door asking us to follow him." Applejack looked over Fluttershy and saw the guard waiting patiently. She looked back at Fluttershy and said. "Alright you go tell him I'll get the others ready and to wait a sec." She nodded and proceeded to do just that. Applejack went to Rarity who was shaking her head in disbelief at this point of their three arguing friends antics. Applejack tapped her shoulder in which she turned her head. "Some guard is outside that wants us to follow him, something involving Celestia wanting us." "OK darling I guess I'll go wait outside then." And off Rarity went to wait outside as well. Applejack took a look at her three remaining friend who were yelling at this point. And by yelling I would mean Twilight losing her cool as Pinkie just bounded from wall to wall like a ninja. And Rainbow Dash is just drinking some of the punch on the table. Doing the same process as Rarity Applejack went over and told Rainbow to wait outside, and Rainbow complied. Now there was only two friends left and one of them was probably going to be easier than the other. Sighing Applejack snapped her fingers a couple times to get their attention. She only succeeded in getting Twilight's attention for Pinkie started singing a song about setting up party's. Twilight walked on over to her friend with a tired exasperated look for clearly her plan to pry out information from Pinkie about who the party was for was in vain. "Yes?" She groaned to Applejack. "Twi I know Pinkie is not being straightforward with you, but lets be honest when is she ever straightforward with us." Twilight sighed and then asked why she needed her attention. Applejack told Twilight that a Royal Mage guard was outside waiting for them. Twilight started to worry for the Royal Mage guards were the best of the best and for one to come and collect all the elements surely a big problem was at hand. Applejack told Twilight to wait outside with the rest while she tries to collect Pinkie Pie to join them. Twilight nodded and took a worried glance back at Pinkie who was still setting up Party decorations. Applejack steeled herself for what might be the worst annoying moment in history. Taking a deep breath she went over to tap Pinkie on the shoulder. Pinkie was all too quick however and hopped spin around and gave her direct attention to her friend. "Whats up?" She said with a cheery smile. Having being used to Pinkie's strange sense she just went out with it. "Princess Celestia sent a guard to fetch us, so we gotta go." "But, but WHAT ABOUT MY PARTY? I just can't let it go unattended." Pinkie complained. "Oh it aint gonna go anywhere. Now come on Princess Celestia probably has an old foe for us to fight or something." She waited for Pinkie but she didn't budge. "Just why do we have to go, I mean can't we take a break from all of it?" Her pink haired friend asked. Applejack sighed and answered. "Pinkie we have a duty to our country, to Equestria, heck to the Princess even if we don't go and figure out what new problem has arisen then... I don't know what might happen, but I do know what ever Princess Celestia might want is more important than some party." Applejack went to Pinkie and put her hand on her shoulder. "So please can we go already." Pinkie thought about and reluctantly agreed. They both walked outside where the others were waiting. The guard was looking at them and asked. "Are you ready?" Everyone nodded their heads and the guard touched his brooch of the sun and everyone disappeared. Several seconds later they each reappeared in a throne room, only it wasn't the one in Canterlot. It was the Throne room from Celestia's flagship Zeppelin The coming Dawn. And sitting on the twin thrones were Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The main six bowed down before their two regal regents, the guard did the same as well. "Arise." Celestia commanded. They all arose, Celestia cleared her throat for what will be a long speech. "I have called you all here cause something has arisen." A flat-screen TV screen started lowering it self from the ceiling. "As of three hours ago the last remaining fortress of Nightmare Moon came out of the Bermane Triangle." Images of the island started appearing on the screen for them to see. Twilight wanted to say something but Luna ceased her by raising her hand for silence. "Thank you sister." Luna lowered her hand. "Now as of an hour ago our resources say the Archaeologist Daring Do and her assistant Trixie Lulamoon went to this Island most likely to recover artifacts used in the Nightmare war era." Pictures of Daring Do and Trixie Lulamoon appeared on the screen. "However Luna had a premonition that something else is also on that island. She is correct." A picture of Fable appeared wearing the Nightmare Knight armor. This time Twilight raised her hand to speak. "Yes Twilight." "This Knight is what we were called here for?" She finished quickly. "Yes and no. As I have said there is more than just this on the island. Some thought to even be extinct." A picture of a Balverine soon appeared on the screen. Some of the main six recoiled at the ghastly sight of the Balverine. The screen changed and it showed a recording of Fable standing his ground at an oncoming Balverine. Like before it tackled him down only for the Balverines prey to blink out of existence and reappear in the air and turn around to finish off it's hunter. They each recoiled from the death. And Fluttershy almost started crying but held her tears back. Luna started speaking. "As you can see this werewolf is also on the island." Another video clip appeared and it showed several Balverines charging at Fable and he fired an arrow at the back one. It showed what happened to them all as they all got shot by multiple arrows, Fluttershy blurted out. "How awful, how could he do such cruel things to those animals." Everyone gave her an are you serious look. Luna cleared her throat to gain everyone's attention. "Regardless of the cruel intents of the person on the island there is more that we have not even seen before." The screen then turned to another video clip of the Minions advancing on Fable, Daring Do and Trixie. It paused on a closeup of a Minion warrior. After a minute of looking at the Minion warrior the screen turned black. Celestia then resumed the speech. "As you can see these creatures have never been seen in Equestrian soil we suspect they are born from the Bermane Triangle or a rift that is in the Bermane Triangle that lets these creatures into our world. Our mission is to go to the island fortress eliminate these threats." A picture of The Minions and the Balverines appeared. "Save these two." Picture of Daring Do and Trixie appeared. "Apprehend this one."A picture of Fable appeared. "And destroy this Island." And finally a picture of the island appeared. "Any questions?" They all remained quiet till Fluttershy said lowly. "Why?" The Princesses looked at each other then back to Fluttershy and Luna asked. "What do you mean why?" Fluttershy bit the bottom of her lip and continued her question. "Why do we have to kill all those poor animals?" Luna then spoke up some more. "You mean the werewolves." Fluttershy nodded. "Fluttershy those Werewolves are not cuddly wuddly animals, they are vicious killing carnivorous beasts. In fact they aren't even human anymore either." "Sister please do not tell them." Celestia begged. "Do not tell us what Princess?" Rainbow Dash asked including herself into the conversation. "That these beasts are no longer human anymore. I'm sure some of you have heard the myths of how a werewolf bite will turn you into one of them. Well this myth is true, and once you are bitten there is only a short amount of time to cure you before you turn permanently. In fact that is part of the reason why my sister hunted them down to extinction when I was banished to the moon." She finished letting it all sink in. There was an audible silence that permeated the room. Then Fluttershy looked down to the ground and gave in. "OK, I understand there nothing but beasts to you and you want to wipe out the last of them off the face of the earth." Fluttershy turned her back on them both and finished. "But I won't stay here while you murder innocent beings that didn't have a choice on who they became." She looked to the guard and then asked. "I would like to go home if that is ok with you all." Twilight said Fluttershy's name but Celestia said her pupils making the room silent again. Then Celestia began speaking again. "I understand Fluttershy that your kindness towards all creatures does not linger even to these Werewolves. You have by all means the right to go home should you feel like it." Celestia waited for her response which was all to clear when she said. "I would like to go home if you still choose to eliminate all of the werewolves on the island." Celestia thought for a moment and said. "How about we get to the island first and see what happens there before we try to exterminate them." She then motioned for them to come closer. She brought out a briefcase that was all too familiar to the girls. "I want all of you girls to have these in case there is something else on the island that has not revealed it self to us." Celestia opened it revealing the Elements of Harmony. Each girl took their Elements and put them on. "Now the guard that brought you here shall show you all to your quarters. I hope there will be no problems?" Each girl shook their heads and it was concluded. The girls all followed the guard to their group living quarters and waited for the inevitable to happen. Running, that's what Daring Do, Trixie, Fable, and the female alpha Balverine were doing. They all just left a battlefield that had just begun between Minions and Balverines. At the gate Balverines ascended the walls to get into the fortress. Minion warriors got to the walls to repel them, some to be clawed down while others sliced down Balverines. The one Minion Mage that died was soon replaced by a plethora of them, and they used their magic to try and repel any and all Balverines away. Though none of that mattered as our four heroes ran from it, and also run deeper into the fortress. As they ran Fable could feel a presence, one that felt like his mortal foe Jack of Blades. He began thinking that this was nothing than just the overwhelming Minion force that is battling the Balverines. That also was a thing he thought he'd never live to see the day, fighting alongside Balverines. Still as crazy as it sounds he thought. They soon cleared the fourth pathway that they ran through and entered another courtyard. Once in the two girls took a breather while Fable stared at the walls hoping that Minions don't pop out of nowhere. The Alpha Female Balverine had the same idea and stared as well. One of the girls came up to our hero Fable and said. "Hey *Breath* Thanks *breath* for helping us back there." He turns his head and nods and resumes his staring. Her other companion then complains. "What *breath* were those *breath* THINGS." Fable turns to her and says one word. "Minions." As if on cue Minion Mages appear on the walls. Two use their magic and red force fields appear at the entrances and exits. Having his Skorm's bow already out he drew up an arrow and used his Multi arrow's spell. Like the time he used with the Balverines the bow glowed with a white aura. Instead of immediately firing at an enemy like he would normally do. Fable fired the arrow into the air, it soared high up to the sky and the arrow soon glowed white. It soon rained on all of the Minion mages with white glowing heat seeking arrows. It didn't kill most of them like he hoped, but it did injure most of them. The Alpha roared and charged to the incline stairs to do battle. A Minion warrior popped out of the earth barring her path, but was swept aside by the Alpha's powerful claws. The warrior hit the wall with a earth shattering thwack and shattered into pieces. More Minion Warriors teleported into existence, and they twirled their double bladed weapons several times. Daring started pooping shots off at any Minion Warriors in her line of sight. Trixie gathered her magic into her hand and it glowed a light grayish magenta. Fable withdrew his bow and brought out his Sword of Aeons. Two Minion Warriors charged Fable head on, three surrounded Trixie and five were being shot down by Daring. Alpha Was busy trying to fight all the Minion Mages and several Minion Warriors. Fable's Sword of Aeons clanged with one of the two Minion warriors double edged blade. The second went for a execution of slicing our hero's head. Fable ducked and went for a sweeping motion with his left foot. He tripped the warrior that briefly clanged swords with him. Trixie gathered her magic into the palm of her hand and aimed it at the nearest Minion warrior. He was blasted back and almost shattered into pieces. One that was behind her went for an overhead strike, but it only struck the surface of a brilliant azure shield. Daring Do was popping shots off at Minion's with her custom paint job .44 Magnum. She fired off three shots at two advancing Minions, and their skin seemed to start cracking at where the bullets made contact. One of the Minion warriors kept a distance while the other two checked on their comrades. Alpha had taken several scrapes from the Minion Warriors that aided there fellow Minion Mages. Dark red blood could be seen dripping from the wounds inflicted upon her. Otherwise she had managed to take down one of the eight Minion Mages on the walls. Fable used his sword to impale one of the two Minions he was fighting. By doing so though the other used it's double edged blade and stabbed him in the shoulder. Pain could be felt and even though his shoulder plate didn't break there was now a suitable sized hole in it. Trixie was concentrating, she was concentrating so hard because the three Minion Warriors she was fighting were all pounding their weapons on her circular shield. The shield made a pounding noise each time the Minion warriors attacked with their weapons. Sweat drops could be seen sliding down the sides of her face. An even though it was not visible, very thin cracks were forming on the shield. Daring Do had wasted two shots on a single Minion warrior, for it blocked them with it's dual sided blade. She took out her machete, held it in one hand with her magnum in the other hoping to fend them off with it. Alpha was losing her battle against the Minions, she had taken numerous amounts of damage and had some internal bleeding. Fable began to start taking a beating, his helmet had been bashed off of his face and other pieces of his armor were beginning to be destroyed while he wore them. This armor was about done with it's use he thought. He stood up only to be sliced back down, his chest piece bearing a nasty scar that had just been delivered by the Minion warrior. While he fell back down he saw his other companions, they to were struggling against the Minions. Trixie's barrier shield was now bearing a few visible cracks that grew each time the enemy hit it. Daring Do was trying desperately to block some attacks with her machete but it was a fruitless effort. The Female Alpha Balverine was now on the ground using her arm to block any attacks aimed at her with a lot of blood pouring out from wounds all over her body. This was it Fable thought, this would surely be his end, his and those of his companions. The Minion warrior that had sliced him down was now over him, it raised it's blade over it's jackal like head. Any second now Fable new he would meet his end. He took one last look at his companions and closed his eyes. When he reopened them all he could see was a red version of the world before him. He chanced a gaze at the Minion warrior that would end him and found him to back off slightly. Suddenly he felt slightly renewed as if he was no longer in any pain. He got up slowly and noticed all the other Minions were now staring at him. Our hero gazed to his companions and saw they were knocked out or presumably dead. This opened a inner rage and he yelled out to the heavens. He put his hands to his chest piece and ripped it off. He did the same with the shoulder plates and armored leggings. Then he ripped off the undershirt he was wearing and was left with the Nightmare boots and underpants and the gauntlets. Red horns seemed to be growing from Fable's head, and Red ethereal like tattered wings grew from his back. Red engravings formed on his legs, his sword by his waist also seemed to transform. He drew out the blade and examined it's newly acquired fire like properties. He resumed his gaze towards all the other Minions and prepared for battle with his newly acquired power. > The Island Fortress Battle Final Part, and the Choices > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Island Fortress Battle Final Part, and the Choices Moments ago all was well while Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were planning their invasion of the fortress island. Then like a storm hitting a city they felt the huge surge of power. When they felt it they immediately went to a flat screen TV that acted as a way to talk to other people on the ship. Luna casted the scrying spell and they were greeted with Fable's new transformation. The Captains, Commanders, Lieutenants in the room slowly joined them in their gaze at what could only be considered a demon. They gazed at him for what seemed like forever, and though some were scared out of their wits it was awe inspiring. Eventually Celestia turned around and ordered all of her soldiers. "Get to the landing ships I want him captured when we get to that island." They all darted out the door to do just that. Celestia turned around to stare at the beast before her. "Tia do you think we can stop this beast?" Princess Luna asked. "I don't know Luna, I don't know." Was all that Princess Celestia could say. Maliciousness, maliciousness and anger, rage, anguish, frustration, disgust, hostility, and excitement were the feelings that were going through his head right now. Fable our hero had just moments ago transformed into a demon. A demon of great power. Our hero never thought he would grow horns and wings of evil. He had long ago when he started out as a hero grew horns. Back then he strove on being evil for a time, doing enough that it manifested into evil horns. Later he would strive to do good for people cowered in fear of his look. Now however he had just transformed out of the blue, he didn't really feel all the evilness take hold and manifest into his body. It was more of an extension to himself it was like his evilness was an ally and it empowered him. His sword had also transformed into a straight double edged sword with the augment of pure red fire. Above the hilt at the beginning of the blade were three layers one on top of another and the third connected it self to the rest of the blade. The hilt was made out of what could be called Magical reinforced Mahogany. He gave the sword a good test swing at a couple of minions that stood near were Trixie lay unconscious. Fire shot forth in a wave of energy towards them, as the fire came closer they started melting into pieces. Fable felt satisfied at his new power, he gazed back to where Trixie was unconscious and saw one Minion Warrior had survived his attack. Aiming his hand he willed a fire ball towards the last survivor of that group. What he got however was three golden flaming swords that floated in the air for a couple of seconds before they aimed themselves towards the last survivor. They impaled him and the Minion broke apart indicating his death. This was a curious new spell it was like his ghost swords only on fire and they sacrificed themselves to kill their target. He would have to name the spell later for more enemies were afoot. The five enemies that Daring Do had fought were enraged and they charged Fable head on not even showing fear. When the first one that decided to do battle with him was in swinging distance our hero gripped his sword tightly and his horns and wings glowed even redder than they already were. In one swift move Fable went for a rising flourish attack, instantly killing the minion as he broke apart to death by the upward strike. Our hero flew briefly off the ground and landed moments later in a blocking position for another Minion warrior went for an attack. Their weapons clashed and Fable immediately brought his sword arm back and went for an overhead strike. The Minion warrior made for a block with it's weapon but his enemy's sword cut through it thus slicing in half his body. It crumbled to death moments later. Fable was beginning to take pleasure in killing these enemies that were usually so hard for him to kill. Now fighting them without his magic Will powers made it even harder but now it seemed like child's play. The last three Minion Warriors were all afoot away from him. They planned to keep their distance away from someone who easily dispatched two Minion Warriors in all but twenty seconds. Our hero smirked at them and gathered will energy into his non armed hand. Picturing lightning to zap his enemies our hero got an electronic Fireball that sailed through the air hitting the middle one of the three Minions. Then Lightning along with particles of fire arched to the other two and shocked along with burned the other two to death. It seemed to Fable that he could now combine will spells together. It was not unheard of to combine spells together for a devastating attack but he was doing it with out having to concentrate so hard. The last remaining Minion Warriors and Minion Mages jumped down from the wall ready to do battle. All of them held onto their respective weapons gripping them as tightly as possible. The Minion Mages each gathered will energy into their hands making a white orb of energy form. Our hero still held onto the same exact smirk on his face. He brought his sword to his side and like before his horns and wing glowed brighter. He waited for the Minions to make the first move a move that would end in their downfall. After a minute of waiting the Minion Mages all fired their respective will blasts hoping the combined spell would kill their foe. Each Will blast sailed through the air all aimed at Fable. When they were all close enough Fable used his horizontal flourish, he spun around twice almost too fast to see and each Will blast hit his sword. This countered their attack and sent each Will blast back to their respective owner. Each Minion Mage was unprepared for this and all went in various forms of blocking to lessen the impact. It would all matter for not cause the will blast broke through their defenses and shattered them to death. Thus ending all the Minion Mage in the immediate area and made the Red ethereal walls to fade away. The Minion Warrior that were left were generally frightened, they each backed away slightly hoping to go unnoticed by their fearsome foe. However something happened that Fable didn't count on happening. The Minion Warriors all howled in unison. While in their mid howl ethereal blood seemed to seep out of their mouths. They continued this for another minute and the blood seemed to all connect together. Another second later each of the remaining Minion Warriors fell to the ground and shattered indicating their death. The pool of ethereal blood glowed slightly and it seemed to move and form a perfect round circle. The blood seemed to boil and in the center rose a new type of Minion one that our hero had never seen before. Minion Champion It breathed heavily and stared at Fable with it's menacing eyes. The Minion Champion rose one of it's swords and rested it on his own shoulder. Fable stared back at the new foe, he was as big as Twinblade the Bandit king. He seemed to have a familiar build like him as well, and if he were here he'd probably be mad that this foe was copying his style of wielding two swords. By now Trixie and Daring Do were somewhat conscious and Trixie barely made it over to her friends lying position. They both saw the mighty titans stare at each other down neither of them making a move towards the other. Then they both took battle ready positions, Fable wielded his sword to his side again and The Minion Champion held his left sword up in the air and the right hung lower just above the waist line. They both ran at each other head on doing a game of chicken. As they stepped closer Fable could feel the excitement coursing through him. It was a sadistic feeling, but a good one nonetheless. Both weapons clashed and the battle was on, Fable went for a jab but the Minion Champion blocked by swinging his left sword down. The Minion Champion tried to stab our hero with his right sword, but the blade missed for Fable dodged to his left. Our hero brought his free hand up and just pictured a quick fireball to be formed. The Will magic manifested into his hand but instead of a fireball a force of compressed air hit his enemy instead. The spell was like his Force Push only for aiming at enemies. It was a spell that creates a powerful blast of energy which radiates out from the caster, sending nearby enemies sprawling. Useful when greatly outnumbered. The Minion Champion didn't get sent flying for it only staggered however. Daring Do kept her attention on the fight along with her assistant Trixie. They both had been beaten unconscious by the Minions and when they woke up the person that saved them earlier was now some transformed monster. And it fought an equally dangerous monster that formed from the blood of Minions. After awhile our hero began firing off random spells, these spells consisted of the Golden swords, the Force attack push, and a combination of lightning and fire. He had abandoned fighting him one on one with his sword. The spells seemed to have and effect on the Minion Champion, but only slightly otherwise he would either take the attack full force or use one of his swords to block it. The time was getting out of hand, and so was our hero's power. He started to feel a little weaker each minute that passed. It was like his power was giving up on him. "This did have to come at the worst possible time." Fable thought he quickly thinked of a strategy to finish this fight quickly and while he still had the power to do so. Then it struck him as and it became so simple. Our hero casted his one and only Slow Time spell, time faded the world to a greyish version of itself. Though that didn't matter because Fable moved from place to place casting spells that would hit their mark and the Minion Champion could do nothing to block them. Each time the Minion Champion would get hit by about five or six spells from one angle he would then try to block. Fable however would move to a different position and fire off more spells and the process would repeat over and over an again and again. To Daring Do and Trixie they couldn't even see him, all they could see was the Minion Champion writhe in pain as our hero attacks him. Though he was doing considerable damage to his foe he was starting to be drained of power at an equally considerable rate. It was getting to that time where the Slow Time spell would end. After Our hero used one last spell the greyish world turned back to it's original state. Fable took a good look at his foe and saw that his skin, armor even the swords he had were cracked everywhere. It would probably take one good hit with his sword to end it all. Gripping his sword he tossed it into the air, he let it fall to his hand were he held it back handed. The Minion Champion couldn't seem to move and it look terrified as our hero walked closer to him. When he was a foot lengths away Fable rose his weapon and stabbed it into the very center of his foe's chest. That did the trick it seemed for the Minion Champion shattered into pieces. Our hero just stood there on the spot where he dealt the final blow. Eventually his horns and wings faded away as did the red runes on his legs that shown through his underpants. He was now back to normal and incredibly tired, he had no existing wounds so that was good. He turned his head to the two females on the ground, they stared at him with fear, admiration, horror and thankfulness. He walked over to their position to see how they were doing. Daring Do had the worst of the damage but Trixie just had a few minor bruises. Fable examined Daring's body and saw a broken arm some bruises and two almost useless legs that were still connected. "It's a miracle she is still alive." He thought. Daring did a slight laugh as she took a good look at herself. Trixie was holding her up while they seated. "Well it seems my archaeology day are numbered." Daring said somberly with a hint of admiration to how she was. "I can barely believe I'm alive after this battle." Trixie then spoke up. "It's OK Daring, it's ok at least your alive. Who knows we might even be able to find away to fix your legs and arm up." She only laughed a little bit more. "Have you seen my legs I don't think any doctor or healer of any kind can heal these things." She shook her head and Fable could see a tear fall from her face. "Let's face it I'm nothing but a cripple now." She looked to Trixie and said. "We should just use the dang scroll and get back to the ship." Our hero had sympathy for the archaeologist. He felt this was slightly his fault for involving them in this battle. Fable sat down next to her on one knee and she got a good look of him. She laughed again as her tears fell from her face. "To think we would find life on this island that would save us." Our hero just put a hand near her legs and waited. He casted his spell Heal Life which allows him to trade his magical energy for health. Health that can also be passed on to non-hostile entities in the vicinity. They stared at his hand for a minute waiting for something to happen, but alas nothing did. "Well at least you tried." She said, Trixie had tears in her eyes for her friend. She hoped that she would be OK and silently prayed for a miracle in her thoughts. Then it happened, white blinding light covered the areas of where most of the wounds were. A sound of a chorus rung out while the blinding light did it's work to heal both Daring Do and Trixie. A minute later and the chorus stopped along with the light. Daring took a look at her legs and they no longer looked as bad as before. She could even feel them, and her arm was now fully healed and there were no signs of bruises anywhere on her body. Trixie had been fully cleansed of any and all bruises while feeling like a new person. They looked in awe and wept a few tears, Daring looked to our hero and said while hugging him abruptly. "Thank you. Thank you so much." Fable was motionless all he could do was pat her back while she hugged him. After a minute they all got up, Daring had to have Trixie help her to stand for she still had a dull ache in her legs, otherwise she was fine. Fable looked around for Alpha but couldn't see her, he started walking to the stairs that lead to the second wall. He didn't want to believe it but there was Alpha on the ground dead for the world to see. He clenched his fist and punched the nearby wall, anger coursed through him for an innocent died even if that innocent was cursed to be a Balverine. Now he wasn't a religious man but he said a silent prayer to Avo to guide alpha in the netherworld to eternal paradise. It was the least he could do. He walked back down from the wall his prayer and mourning for the Balverine went quickly. He looked around and saw his armor was completely destroyed beyond repair. He also saw his two legendary swords and bow in a pile by some scraps of his former armor. Daring had asked Trixie to take her to a nearby wall with some strange pictures. Fable didn't heed any attention to it and went to go retrieve the Sword of Aeon's, Avo's tear, and Skorm's bow. Now equipped with his former gear he had no idea what to do next. He turned his attention back to his female counterparts and saw they had discovered a hidden door by the wall of pictures. Inside were stairs that led into darkness they hesitated for a moment but when Fable joined them they had new strength to enter. The walking was slow due to the dull pain in Daring's legs and it almost seemed like they were taking forever to descend down the staircase. Eventually we are down the staircase and at the entrance of a medium open sized room, In the middle of it was a chest and what seemed like two altars by the side of it, and a plaque in front of it all. They walked closer to it and stared at the chest. It had latches and seals all over it and looked securely tight. Trixie helped her friend get to the plaque and she read silently what it said. Our Hero however was starting to feel something very familiar come from the chest he just stared at it though. Daring finished her readings and sighed heavily. "What's the problem Daring?" Daring's assistant asked. She sighed again and said. "Well we have to choose." Trixie raised an eyebrow at her and asked. "Choose what?" Daring took another look at the pedestal and said. "Well it says here that we must choose to either free the curse or to command it either way will open the chest." Our hero continued to stare at the chest even though it was sealed tight he could feel a presence come from the chest. A few seconds later two orbs appeared from the two Altars. One was blue which was on the left altar. And the other was red and on the right one. Daring continued speaking. "The blue one free's the curse and the red allows you to command it. What I don't know is what the curse is or why to command it." Fable heard what she said and knew what to do, he had a general idea of what the curse is. And now all was left was to simply chose. To free the curse or to Command it. To free the curse or to command it. To Free the Curse. Or to command it. > To Free the Curse > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Free the Curse Fable makes for the blue orb and grabs it. It is removed from the altar and the red one disappears. A bright blue light is shown and it shoots towards the sky becoming a pillar of blue light. The orb then sends out blue energy waves throughout the room. Those waves would then pulsate and wave over the room again. They would exit the room and sweep over the island. Near where all the Balverines had fought and where they killed all the Minions they began to feel tremendous pain. More pulses of blue energy ring out through the island and The Balverines begin to change, their fur was growing shorter, snouts would contort back into their faces. Nails that connected to their claws grew shorter and they were now human. And they could now live as normal beings. Though none of that mattered for Fable however for when he chose the blue orb the chest seals and latches unlocked and the chest popped open on it's own. What he saw brought back horrible memories and feelings long buried deep inside. What he saw was what he sought to destroy long ago. And here it was the thing that caused him so much strife. The mask of Jack of blades himself. And before he could do anything The Mask spoke to our hero in his head and said. "Why hello again hero did you miss me." > To Command It > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Command It Fable makes for the red orb and grabs it. Though none of that mattered for Fable however for when he chose the red orb the chest seals and latches unlocked and the chest popped open on it's own. "Why hello again hero did you miss me." > Emergency Meeting,Anger and Beach Head Confrontation. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Emergency Meeting, Anger and Beach Head Confrontation. Fear, a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc. This is what both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had experienced when watching the fight between Our Hero Fable, and the last of the Minion's followed up by the fight with the Minion Champion. They had witnessed the transformation into the red demon as they called it and watched as it completely annihilated the Minion's. Then it went to the fight with the Minion Champion, and even though they were evenly matched when fighting sword against sword. The Minion Champion just wasn't strong enough to take on Fable's level of powerful Will. "I just don't believe what I saw Sister can this Red Demon be that fast and let alone have that much power?" Luna asked, Celestia however was in deep thought. She tried to remember out of all the times they saw him fight if there was a similar occurrence. And there strangely was when they saw him save Daring Do and Trixie the screen paused and then resumed several second later only to have moved forward a bit. Now a similar occurrence happened again only this time when it resumed the foe of our hero looked like it could shatter at any second. "Could this person be able to control time within a certain area." She thought, the idea certainly had crossed her mind. Though she put it off as being outlandish, but now having seen it a second time only much longer the evidence was starting to reveal it self. She would have thought more on it had her sister not asked for her opinion rather loudly. "Tia, do you think we can take down such an enemy?" "I have no doubt we can Luna, but let us hope the strike force we sent can capture this being." "Do you think we should tell the Bearers of Harmony about this? We wouldn't want them to come in with us without this knowledge." Luna asked, Celestia thought for a minute and came to her decision. "Yes we should warn them about this. So they can be even more careful when we show up to confront this foe. Send a messenger to collect them." Luna nodded and proceeded out to inform the guard to collect the Elements of Harmony wielders. Once Luna was out Celestia's view she stared at the image of our hero in his monstrous new form. She had never faced an enemy like him and wondered is the strike force she sent was a mistake. The idea suddenly popped up in her head of whether or not she sent that strike force to their deaths. Gritting her teeth she slammed her hand on the table and realized the mistake she made. "How could I be so stupid." She said to no one but herself. The main six had mostly just relaxed on their voyage to the island fortress. They talked about some of the finer things in life like clothes, fashion and everything else to steer clear of the idea of facing whatever might be on the island. To say the least it was dead silent for most of the trip, mostly because they lost interest for everything else except for the Island. They even started playing various card games, to pass the time which resulted in Pinkie Pie winning the majority of them. With a shout from our hyperactive girl claiming her victory yet again a conversation was struck up. "WOOHOO... I win again. so who want's to play again." Pinkie said with innocent glee. Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity all groaned while Twilight smiled and shook her head at the antics. Fluttershy calmly placed her cards down and waited for Pinkie to shuffle out more cards. Rainbow Dash groaned again as Pinkie shuffled out more cards and said. "Argh. This is boring can't we play something else? Or talk about something?" "Well what do you reckon we talk about then sugarcube?" Applejack asked while waiting for Pinkie to stop shuffling out cards. "I don't know. Maybe we should come up with a game plan or something for when we get to the Island." All the other girls silently stared at her then at each other while Rainbow just looked at everyone for an answer. "Well." Twilight finally speaking up. "I think Princess Celestia might already have a plan for us. I Guess we are just here to use Elements of Harmony if things go awry." Rainbow's eye twitched a little and she barked out. "So all were here for is to use the Elements... Not say maybe battle a couple of those creatures on the island or even question why Daring Do let alone Trixie are doing on the island?" Some more silence permeated the room, then Rarity spoke up. "Well I would assume that since this island is probably old it would contain lots of archaeological finds. Perfect for say an Archaeologist to collect. As for Trixie I don't know what to say." "Ok now what about those creature's we saw? And that knight what are your thoughts on him?" She asked, everyone looked at each other, they had no idea what to think. Twilight Sparkle was about to answer her when a knock was heard from the door of their room. Everyone looked to the door,Twilight then got up and went to open the door. On the other side of the door was a lightly armored Royal guard that had a brown camouflage hood instead of a helm. On his back was what looked to be a steel clockwork rifle and a iron longsword. His white wings were presented folded but they weren't invisible as all Pegasi have a passive magic that keeps them invisible. "May I help you?" Twilight asked, the guard with the hood said. "Princess Luna has sent me to collect you all for an emergency meeting." Twilight looked to her friends who were getting up from their seats. She looked back at the guard and said. "Lead the way!" The guard nodded and started walking down the hallway. The main six all followed quietly, none of them dared to speak. They all had different thoughts on what the emergency meeting might be for. Pinkie Pie thought that maybe they might be throwing a party for the knight that was on the island and was thinking up ideas on how to surprise him. Fluttershy was hoping that the Princesses weren't gonna tell her that they would have to kill all of the Balverines on the island. Rainbow Dash was thinking on potential game plans to take down the knight quick and painful. Applejack was thinking about everyone else and whether or not they were up to the challenge ahead. Rarity thought on new designs for the rather drab guards that they passed. And Twilight Sparkle was thinking on what the emergency meeting was for, and hoping it didn't mean bad news. After awhile the guard had lead them to the meeting room where Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were at. Once they were let in both princesses motioned for them to take a seat around the table. Each and everyone of them sat down except the guard. Celestia looked toward the guard and commanded. "You may leave us!" The guard nodded and trotted out of the room. Everyone was seated down and the main six all looked to the princesses for what they were going to say. Celestia rose from her seat and addressed them all. "Several minutes ago we had another spike in strange magical energy, when my sister performed her scrying spell we saw what we can only describe as a Magic Frenzy. No-" "Excuse me yer highness." Applejack said interrupting the princess. "I'm ah afraid some of us don't know what a Magic Frenzy is." She looks to her friends and says. "Am I right girls." Everyone Except Twilight nodded their heads in agreement. Celestia sighed and said. "Very well Twilight would you kindly explain what a Magical Frenzy is." All eyes fell on Celestia's faithful student and silence was again presence if but for a moment. Twilight cleared her throat and promptly explained. "A Magic Frenzy is a release of magical power. We release energy from certain barriers within our magic gland that is in all Ponian's. For Unicornians it is not very special cause we almost involuntarily do it everyday when we put a strain on our magic. Thus opening one of several barriers for our magic." The rest of the main six except Rarity still had looks of confusion on their faces. Twilight then explained on. "For Unicornians we basically get to use more magic when our reserves are empty. For Pegasanians it's rare cause they don't have a way to tap into their magic gland. But when they can it is said they can go at extreme speeds and recover quickly from say aerial mistakes. For Earthnians It's even rarer cause they also have no way to tap into their magic glands and the barriers are even harder to tap into than any other barrier. In fact the last known recording was when Chancellor Puddinghead-" "That is enough my student." Celestia ordered, all of them stared at her with all of their attention. "I hope you know what you need to know cause we are gravely steering away from the topic at hand." Silence was back again as the Main Six stared at their ruler patiently waiting for her to speak on. "As I was saying we saw the one Nightmare knight that we know of on the island in a Magic Frenzy. Now as you all know Unicornians and Pegasanians display their wings and horns when performing magic. Sometimes they can be kept out and be displayed to all as the guard that lead you here displayed." Most of the main six nodded in agreement to this. "Now the Nightmare Knight that we saw had a very different display." She indicated this by waving her hand at the display screen behind her, a little magic going from her finger tips to the screen. Once the magic hit the screen an image appeared of Fable within his supposed Magic Frenzy state. Now the girls were a little disturbed by what they saw. However Twilight Sparkle was wondering why he had two horns and wings that were on display. In fact she was wondering why Fable had wings at all. Then it hit her brain like a train. "Princess." Twilight called out. "Could this person be an Alicornian Like you and Princess Luna?" Looks of dread soon went on everyone's faces. And then Princess Celestia answered her question. "No Twilight this person is not a Alicornian he is something completely different." Before she could say anything more the same guard that left the room earlier barged back in. "A thousand apologies your majesties but we thought you might want to hear about this." He walked over to the two Princesses and presented them with a scroll. Princess Luna took the scroll with her magic and unfolded it while reading the contents. A frown creased her face and she gave the letter to her sister to read. Celestia read the contents out loud for all to here. "Your Majesty we have noticed that we are flying near the Bermane Triangle where a storm is forming and is headed towards the island that is our destination. We have also noticed a sort of ship sailing away from the storm with several Life boats headed towards the island. We have checked their flag and it is none we have ever seen before. It might be a pirate ship. Recommended orders of action?" She pinched her chin to think of an appropriate order to give. "Luna I want you to take the bearers of the Elements to the island and intercept those life boats. I will fly with the Zeppelin to the ship and see if they are "friendly." Luna nodded and got out of her seat. "Come along girls we have an island to get to." The girls nodded and followed her before they all left the room Princess Celestia gave one last order to her sister. "Luna I want to to take the strike force we sent and direct it to the Beach head of where those life boats will land. I don't want them to go after the Nightmare Knight yet." Luna nodded once more and with the main six headed to the launch bay of the Zeppelin. She directed her attention back to the guard and ordered him to tell the pilots to head for the ship. Many things were going through our dear hero's head many of which all directed towards the mask that was now presented to him, Daring Do and Trixie. His first thought was how the mask survived when he threw it into the lava at Archon's folly. His next thought was how he would destroy the mask now that it has clearly showed it ugly mug back to him. He was gathering Will energy into his right palm for a fireball when Daring Do made a dash for the mask and grabbed it. "HAHA WE DID IT, WE FOUND THE MASK OF BLADES!" She exclaimed to the world. Trixie joined her friend and they were giddy with joy cause they found the artifact they were looking for. "Aww isn't that precious two Archaeologist that found an ancient artifact." Fable tensed with fear as that voice ringed in his head. The two archaeologist's seemed to not hear the voice that belonged to the mask. They spoke too one another about something. It was inaudible to our dear hero though. "What's the matter Hero you seem to be the only one that can hear me." Fables hand's began to tremble as he still hears the voice of his parent's killer. "Is it because that only Albion's can hear my voice." The unimaginable fear that he felt was now beginning to be unbearable. And noticeable by both Trixie and Daring Do. "Hey are you alright?" The archaeologist asked while making her way to our dear hero. "Yes dear hero are you alright you seem like you've seen a ghost." Jack tauntingly said, Daring Do was near Fable and was about to put a hand on his shoulder when he acted abruptly. Taking the mask he threw it at the farthest wall. Will energy seeped into his hands forming a red fiery orb. When it was charged he threw it at the exact location the mask landed. Daring and Trixie could feel the heat from the fireball as it was flung through the air at the mask. Both had a look of horror as the prize for their troubles was about to be destroyed before their very eyes. The fireball hit directly but the only effect it had was blackening the area around the mask. That didn't stop our hero for he gathered more will into both of his hands. Each glowed blue and a static sound could be heard. "That first attack was pathetic, come on hero where is that glorious power that you possess?" Jack continuously taunted. Our hero would've released his lightning will power onto the mask but the world seemed to fade into a grey version of it's former self. Fable looked around and saw Daring Do and Trixie had also faded. The only things that weren't faded were Jack's mask and himself. Soon a cloudy Guild insignia formed while swirling clockwise at a snails pace. The Mask of blades floated up into the air and headed towards the cloudy guild insignia and disappeared once it made contact. Seeing how the mask was now trying to escape him he went after it and disappeared as well. Captain Alendia is a very calm person, most of the time nothing can phase the Assassin Captain. It's very rare that she sees anything relatively life changing. But while she was sailing to an unknown island with about fifteen members of her crew. She saw several things that were new to her. One she saw the what she can only describe as the oval balloon in the sky which was Princess Celestia's personal Battle Zeppelin. Two she saw smaller Zeppelins headed for the island that she was going to in her rowboat. Now these things were faster than her row boats and one thing came to mind. "Where can I get one of those things?" She said to herself. As she observed the smaller Zeppelin head toward the island and land she felt like she was being stared at. Turning her head around she only noticed Runt, a very impatient young lad who should've died long ago. Of course Runt wasn't his real name, he was just given that name when he wouldn't tell anyone his real name.He wore a mask that was white but had red lines that flowed down from the eye sockets. A shoulder guard with small spikes, a leather vest with a bone necklace and orange plate-mail pants with boots. And he lugged around with him a Ebony great-axe that was augmented with two Flame Augments. He could literally swing the damn thing and set a person on fire. She wasn't really fond of him for he was huge fanatic worshiper of Skorm the evil god of Albion. But he was always kept in check in case he started preaching about His god again. The only reason he was apart of her crew was something about Skorm telling him to protect any champions that wielded the weapons of evil. And he blindingly follows her even into the unknown cause she wields Skorm's teeth which she renamed the Six Sirens. As she looked upon him he stared back with his cold dead eyes that no one would dare look into lest they be very brave or about to die, then he spoke first. "Champion, what is it you seek?" That was another thing she didn't like about him. He would always call her Champion even when she told him to call her Captain. With a sigh she spoke to him. "Well for one I'm a little worried about where we are." "To worry abut our location is a fruitless thing Champion." "......Another thing I'm worried about is how long it will take me to kill you for calling me Champion even when I despise the title." "You wield one of the weapons of Evil therefore you are a champion of Skorm. But I sense there is another thing that worries you?" It was like she was an open book to this fearless worshiper. No matter how much she tried to hide any feelings from him, he could always find a way to pry out information. "Well you saw those things that were flying to the Island that we are headed to. I'm wondering whether or not they will be a problem later." "And?" "And I'm worried about my new lover that might be dead." He remained silent for a moment. He closed his eyes and seemed to be in a sleep like trance. After a minute he reopened them and said. "The Champion of the Bow still lives clouded my vision of him is, but he still lives." Alendia raised an eyebrow at him and asked. "And just how do you know he lives? And whats this business about him being a Champion of the Bow?" He took another deep breath and told her that our dear Hero Fable was the wielder of Skorm's Bow and therefore a Champion of Skorm, just like herself but she didn't get an answer on how he knew he was still alive. This aggravated her but she put it our of her mind when they were getting closer to the shore of the island. And closer to what seemed like three golden armored dozen men all standing at attention and seven other differently dressed figures that were all looking in their direction waiting for them. To this response most of the men prepared their weapons eager for a fight but Alendia raised her arm with a fisted hand to hold their transgressions. When they finally reached the shore most of the men moved the row boats to form make shift cover. Alendia payed no heed to them and got off her boat along with Runt following. A girl in midnight blue also walked towards them and six other girls followed her. After they were about ten feet away from each other both parties stopped their advancement. Alendia put her hands behind her back and held them together. But she also had one hand splayed out with her five fingers ready to count down. And the other one was reaching into her coat sleeve grabbing the tip of one of the Six Sirens throwing knifes that she kept in their. Princess Luna was staring at the good Captain her hand on the pommel of her silver rapier. The main six all stared at her and his companion with the mask. Runt stared at the guards thinking of ways to defeat them quick and easy. Alendia only thought of how aggravated she was to be halted of her progress to find her new lover. Silence permeated the beach with only the waves of the ocean being heard. Both Luna and Alendia stared at each other almost like a mental battle was being had. "So I take it you are the leader of these men?" Alendia smiled and nodded her head. "So are you here for any purpose?" Luna asked, The Assassin Captain thought for a moment and answered. "I am here to simply explore." Princess stared at her for a moment seeming to try and piece together a puzzle. "And what do you hope to find?" "And who's concern is it on what I find?" Alendia lowered one finger down and begun counting down. "As Princess of Equestria it is my concern to know what is going on in my kingdom." "A Princess well a pleasure to finally meet one in person. Might I ask what you are doing here yourself?" Alendia was now getting intrigued with all the new things that she was finding. And now wanted to pry out some info. Runt warily looked upon the Princess a feeling of mixed emotions went through his mind. And he only thought of the honor and glory he would get for slaying her for his beloved god. "A very pressing matter has presented it self on this particular island. One that requires the attention of both Princesses." Runt was getting anxious, anxious that he could just burst with will power and start slaying them all. The main six took notice to this and Twilight stepped forward to inform Luna about the captain's guard. "Princess I think her guard is getting a little restless." Twilight whispered into her ear. "I have noticed as well and observed that he might be a little crazy." Luna whispered back. "WHAT ARE YOU TWO WHISPERING ABOUT?" Runt shouted, this caused all eye's except Alendia's to fall on him as he started twitching to go and just release hell upon them all. The Captain sighed and turned but before turned she clenched her fist's together so they didn't see her counting down. Alendia stared at Runt and he stared back with the same twitchiness. She turned back around and said. "Might I have a word with my associate for a moment?" Luna stared back and reluctantly nodded. Turning back around she stared at her little follower and asked. "What is your problem?" "They are up to something and are withholding information about the Champion of the bow." Alendia's eyes widened and she asked. "How do you know this?" "I can see it and that little Purple haired bitch sees it as well." Her widened eyes seem to lower a bit, it was clear that Runt was just being extra paranoid. "I need you to calm down for Avo's sake you are being to paranoid." He began to seethe anger for the mention of Avo's was like a boiling pot of soup with all the hated agreements needed to make it taste horrible. And then you just get slop for pigs to eat. "Don't you mention that name in my presence Champion, you should feel ashamed for even saying that especially when you are a Champion of Skorm." He reprimanded, She merely rolled her eyes and got out her bladed pistol and pointed it at his stomach. "I can say whatever the Skorm I want and I don't appreciate crew members speaking unless spoken to." He merely squinted his eye at her. "I will not speak then Champion." "Good and to make sure were clear on that." She pulled the trigger to her gun and it fired. The guards behind Luna started formatting a defensive perimeter around Luna and the main six. Runt fell down to the side clutching his stomach were he had been shot. Alendia re-holstered her bladed pistol and turned around to see the sudden increase of guards pointing various weapon at her. And her men also pointed their weapons at them as well. She merely held her faux face and resumed her position of standing while also lowering a finger still counting down. "Well now that that matter is taken care of may we resume our conversation." They all seemed to stare at her and thought she might be crazy. "May we ask why thou shot your own crew man?" Luna asked warily, Alendia simply shrugged and said sarcastically. "Because he has been asking for it for a long time." A groan could be heard from Runt as he slowly got up to rejoin Alendia. "Ah see he's fine." He wasn't really for he was bleeding from the bullet hole in his stomach. Runt merely closed his eyes and casted Heal Life, his body glowed for a moment and he took his hand away from the wound were it was healed. He then stood at attention being quiet from then on. Luna stared warily at Runt thinking how sorry she was for him to have a cruel leader. And at the remarkable healing process that he had. She then decided that Alendia was a most heinous villain that needed to be destroyed or at least imprisoned. Bringing out her rapier she motioned for the guards to let her through, which they complied. She pointed her Rapier at her and shouted. "Thou are a villain and I hereby place you under arrest in the name of the Equestrian Kingdom." Alendia raised her eyes at this and sighed. "Your Funeral." All of her fingers went down and she drew out one of her throwing knives from her sleeve and threw it straight at the Princess. The rest of her men all promptly fired their weapons as well. > Return to the Road of Friendship Part One, Zeppelin and Ship Meeting, Beach Standoff > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to the Road of Friendship Part One, Zeppelin and Ship Meeting, Beach Standoff Whiteness, whiteness as far as the eye can see, he had wandered through the whiteness only to end up in more whiteness. Our dear hero Fable looked around and saw nothing but white. As he walked into the whiteness the world around him started to fog and the ground turned to grass and he soon found himself in front of the same gate that had the guild seal on it and a Marble plinth beside it. He touched the Guild seal and it disappeared. The gate opened and on the plinth another version of him with the unleashed red wings and horns along with the red will lines appeared. The same ghostly Silhouettes reappeared but three more were added to their ranks. These three were Daring Do, Trixie Lulamoon, and the female Alpha Balverine. Fable walked on past the now opened gate to find himself in a circular stone room with pictures of events throughout his life happening. There was also four chests that were scattered about the room. As he walked to the nearest guild in-crested chest he began to feel an ominous presence. "Surprise Hero." Fable turned around to see Jack of Blades standing before him wielding the Sword of Aeons ready to run him through. Reacting on second hand nature before Jack killed him he used Assassin's Rush to avoid the attack. Now before he could draw his weapon out Jack swung around trying to lop off his head. Our hero barrel rolled back and drew out Avo's Tear and was ready for battle. Jack stood where he was and then said an all to familiar quote that Fable remembers when he first fought him. These words were as chilling as ice and had the malevolence of a raging storm. Jack casted a fireball and shot it as fast as a speeding bullet at our dear hero. "Fire in the hole." Jack shouted over the firing of the fireball. It made contact with Fable knocking him back and sent him flying to the ground. His skin was blackened and bruised by the hit. "AWWW did the hero fall down? How pathetic!" Our hero rose up from the ground and brandished his sword ready to do battle. "BRING IT!" Fable shouted, Jack gripped the handle to the Sword of Aeons tighter and complied with a charge. Fable charged as well but his was the will spell known as Battle Charge which propels the caster forward at great speed, smashing into any in their path, and blasting all nearby aside. Leaving a blazing trail behind him he hoped to run Jack through with Avo's Tear. However Jack sideswiped and left a wound with blood flowing down on his opponents arm. Gripping his arm to cover the wound he turned and swung his sword to ward off Jack's advance. Fable crouched down on one knee and almost used his Heal life spell however when he let go of his arm and observed his hand it was void of any blood. This caused him to look at his arm and see the wound that Jack dealt him was nonexistent. "How is this possible?" our hero asked himself. Not believing that his wound healed so quickly. "THINK FAST!!" Jack shouted, this caused Fable to look up and see his opponent use Assassin's Rush. It was too fast for our hero to do anything and before he knew it Jack was behind him with his Sword of Aeons raised to stab him. " PREPARE TO DIE HERO!!" Fable closed his eyes ready for what would be his death. He prepared for the attack but it never came. A few seconds later he opened his eyes to hear grunting. Turning his head he saw Jack of Blades trying his hardest to make the Blade to the Sword of Aeons make contact. But he was thwarted by the sword not making contact. "Why won't you die!" He grunted, try with all his might the Sword of Aeons would not move to slay it's wielder. "What magic is this that can halt my attack?" "The magic of the mind." Both Jack and our hero looked around and laid there eyes upon Theresa, Fable's one and only family member. She walked on over to them both while shaking her head. "Surely you noticed Jack how my brother can heal without casting his Will power." Jack looked over to where he cut his foe and saw that it was healed. His eyes were in bewilderment then he pointed the Sword of Aeon at her and demanded. "Where am I you blind Bitch?" "You are in a place were you can do no harm to the outside world. A place that we will keep you in until we can find a way to destroy you permanently." He gripped the the handle to the Sword of Aeons tighter and made for a lunge to kill her. Fable reacted faster though as he sent a Fireball that hit him square on. Jack was blasted into the ground and he also lost grip to the Sword of Aeons. Theresa waltzed over to the sword and picked it up, she then went over to her brother and presented the sword to him. "Don't lose this now." Fable took it and kept it out in case Jack tried anything else. His sister turned back to Jack trying to get back up. "You see Jack you are in the inner mind of my brother here, and it is here you will be imprisoned." He just stared at her and our hero both with widened eyes. After a moment he regained his composure and started to laugh maniacally. " HehehehahahaAHHAHAHAHA.. This is even better than I could hope for. You plan to imprison me here within his mind where I can get easy access to control him." He got up and dusted some soot off of himself. " I must say Theresa you really are stupid to think that I can't break his mind and take control of his body." He said while crossing his arms. "I have faith in my brother that he can resist your temptations and threats. And he will not be alone in keeping you imprisoned." "Oh? Are you going to play warden here as well?" Theresa nodded and he laughed even more. "Oh this will be even more fun. I can break your mind here as well." He gathered Will energy into both of his hands and fired an arc of lightning at them both. Our hero got in front of his sister and prepared for the hit. However the lightning only hit an invisible force field that bounced off of them. When Jack was done firing lightning at them Fable angled the Sword Of Aeons like a spear and threw it at Jack. Like a speeding bullet the sword sailed through the air and impaled Jack of Blades through and even forced him back against the wall where it then was lodged stuck. Jack looked at the blade and tried to dislodge it from his chest. But the sword was through him and all the way into the wall. He pulled and pulled but with all of his might he couldn't even budge it. "I told you to not lose the sword again now it is serving as an anchor to keep Jack bound to that wall." Our hero's sister reprimanded. Fable didn't seem to care just as long as he could hurt Jack then it was alright losing a weapon or two. "I want you to open the chests in here and prepare to go back. You will no longer be able to use the sword of Aeons now that it is effectively keeping him imprisoned. I wish you luck brother on your journey, Do not worry I will make sure that Jack tries not to talk to you so much." Fable nodded and went over to the chests. The first one was another gauntlet attachment only this one was blue instead of red. He grabbed it with his right hand that didn't have any gauntlet attachments and it began to fuse with his glove. In a bright flash of light and a tranquil peace surrounding him it fuzed with his gauntlet. Once it was done he examined it some more. He never really looked at the detail of it but it was different from the other one besides the obvious color He then examined the other one on his left arm. The blue one had a circle with angel wings and a halo were the red one had well the polar opposite. Once he was done examining both he went to the second nearest chest. He opened it and his vision was suddenly filled with guns and how to further operate them, like reloading and aiming. once his vision of it cleared he shook his head and went to the third chest. He wasted no time and in opening it and was rewarded with a new spell. he reached out to it and the knowledge of the Blade spell was now his. He gave it a test run and like in the battle with the minion champion three blades appeared and then pointed outward and shot off like a bullet, but disappeared before they could hit anything. Content with his new spell he went for the final chest. Once he reached it and opened it he had a sense of direction thrust upon him self. When he looked at the ground he could see a glowing trail pointing the way for him. The trail went to his sister and stopped. Following the trail he was at his sister who was standing by Jack who was still trying to remove the Sword of Aeons from his chest. "Now that you have these new items to help you it is time to go back to the world of Equestria. Oh and you might want to keep your Archon's armor on." And like magic Fable was wearing his Archon's armor. " Don't think this is the end Hero I will break free and when I do you are the first to die by my hands." Before Jack of Blades could shout anymore our hero was teleported out of the room. Celestia was in the hanger part of the ship with five Royal Elite Magi Guards. The zeppelin they were in was almost upon the unknown ship that was sailing away from the storm. Which was the Bermane Triangle, she contemplated whether or not the people on the ship were like our dear hero that was on the island with her sister. Her thoughts then went to her sister and the Element Bearers and whether or not they were alright. Time passed by fast and the zeppelin was now over the ship. A lift then started slowly descending with Celestia and her five guards on it. Wind started blowing against them but they stood their ground against it. The people on the ship below them were all scrambling going this way and that all getting to various stations while some were arming others with various weapons. Soon the lift descended far enough that the Princess and her five guards could just jump and survive the fall. And that's what the five guards did they went past their ruler and jumped off of the lift. Each landed with a thud and formed a defensive perimeter. The people on the ship all pointed there weapons at them ready to riddle them with holes from guns. Princess Celestia then proceeded to jump and fell with the wind flowing through her hair. She was promptly caught by one of the guards in a position where you would hold the bride. The guard gently set her down and resumed his position in the perimeter. "I would like to speak to who is in charge if you please." Princess Celestia requested, there was a silence and restlessness permeated the vast majority of the crew on deck. Suddenly thumping was heard throughout the ship, it got closer to the group of guards and they tensed themselves ready to act and defend their ruler. Pete the newly announced First mate used one of his swords to push aside crew members so he could get through. Celestia looked to where Pete was and presented a neutral face hiding all expression. Pete eventually made his way through the crew and stopped to observe the six unwanted guests. "Might I ask who ye be?" The old man asked. "I am Princess Celestia co ruler of Equestria, now may I ask are you the Captain of this ship?" Pete leaned on his sword like a cane and used his other hand to stroke his beard in thought. Princess Celestia calmly waited for his response. "I be the Captain of this ship." He lied, Pete had a plan forming in his old noggin and he aimed to let it be put to use. Princess Celestia tapped one of the shoulders of her guards and he stepped aside to let her through. She was now in front of the pretend Captain ready and hoping to get answers out of him. "Well as of now you are trespassing in Equestrian waters and I would ask for you to go back where you came from but it seems you are barely trying to get away from the storm of the Bermane Triangle." Her words were emphasized by a sudden lightning strike in the distance. "Yeah, I can see that being a matter of importance. You need to make sure no other kingdom be invadin." Celestia smiled for it seemed this Man before her was cooperating with her, at least a bit anyway. "We however have several problemating factors going on at the moment." "Might I ask what these problems are?"The ruler asked. "Well to begin with we have damage to our ship, lost an important member of our crew. Had almost a mutiny on our hands." He stroked his beard some more in thought. "Oh yeah now some of my crew is on that there island searching for supply's. So I guess a lot be goin on." Celestia raised an eyebrow after he was done talking, she thought how can so many problems present themselves at once. "Would you perhaps need assistance?" She offered, hoping to get more info out of him. "Well that presents another problem. As you can see my crew don't really like people jumping down from giant flying ships. Has made them all jumpy and itchy to pull their trigger fingers." This was emphasized by several of the crew cocking their weapons "I can see that is a problem and since you have us surrounded an at your mercy do you think we can maybe not look so aggressive." The situation was a little erratic what with all of Alendia's crew itchin to pull the trigger. She had to admit if all of them fired at multiple times some of the bullets would probably make it past their magical barriers. And this would prove to put her in a desperate situation. Smirking Pete ordered the men to lower their weapons. Some were hesitant at first but a firm glaring from Pete put them in their place. Once most of them lowered their weapons Pete asked if her Guard would be willing to lower theirs as well. Celestia Smirked and ordered her guards to do the same. "Men bring us some chairs and a table, oh and maybe some drinks as well." Pete ordered, he was getting tired of standing and much preferred to be sitting, and he guessed Celestia might be tired as well. Some of the men went to fulfill the order and would be gone for probably a couple of minutes. "So how abut we get to know each other a bit more? As you know I be the Captain but I never told ye my name. It be Pete by thee way." He said while offering her a hand. "Pleasure to meet you Captain Pete so might I ask were you are from?" She asked now trying to gather as much info. He chuckled and said. "I be from the Land of Albion bet you've never heard of it before." In her mind something knew of the land of Albion but overall it was a complete blank. "I'm afraid I don't know much of the land of Albion you'll have to tell me about it." Pete chuckled some more and said. "Maybe over some drinks." He gestured to the returning crew members who had brought a table, two chairs, and a bottle of a drink called the Yellow Fairy, along with two golden glasses. They set up the furniture and Pete offered her to sit by pulling out her chair for her. She sat down and thanked him for the gentlemanly gesture. He sat in the other chair across from her. "So would you like some Yellow Fairy?" He asked gesturing towards the bottle on the table. The princess shook her head and Pete merely shrugged and poured himself a glass. "So what is it you be wantin to know?" Princess Celestia crossed her hand together and asked. "Tell me about Albion." The fake Captain simply chuckled and told her that it was a place of beauty with troubles around every corner. He would tell her of various things, and she happily listened. at some point during their discussion the crew went back to work. Some still stood watching them waiting so they can deal a swift death to them. The Princesses guard still ever watchful. And Pete having told about his land asked about Equestria. She would tell him that the land was peaceful and almost entirely different from Albion. Like how the weather was able to be controlled where in Albion it did what it wanted. Crew-members that listened in scoffed at the idea of controlling the weather but they remained quiet during the False Captain and the Co-Ruler of Equestria conversation. Soon Celestia turned the conversation to this important Crew-member. That's when he went quiet. "Well all I can say is that he is special. Nothing more nothing less." They both remained quiet after those words were spoken, Celestia sensed that she probably wouldn't get anymore information out of him. "Well since you probably don't know these waters so well I could grant your ship to dock at one of our ports." "Much obliged we would be honored to see some of your land." He said with a cheerful smile. "I only have two requests." "Name it." "That I am allowed to meet this Special Crew-member and that your crew does not harm my people. Can you accept these terms?" She asked. Pete thought about it for a moment then looked again at Celestia. "I'll have to check with the Special mate when he returns but otherwise I accept your terms." Celestia smiled and said "Well then lets not waste any time." And she poured herself a glass of Yellow Fairy wine. A knife that was flying through the air towards Princess Luna was on fire. The only reason this knife was on fire was cause it was augmented with a Fire augmentation from Albion. However whoever augmented this knife was not known for it was one of six others. And all of them put together would be named Skorm's Teeth. However in the hand's of the Assassin Captain Alendia she would prefer to call them the Six Sirens. Now Alendia is a very reasonable person. She won't kill anyone unless there was a reason to and to fight her usually ends with several people dead. Now She really really wanted to give Princess Luna and her guards along with the main six a chance but the Princess declared her a villain and well what would you do? So she did the only sensible thing that she thought was right. And that was throw the first punch or flaming knife in this case. Now Princess Luna is a woman that is very cautious. And she likes to be in control of any situation that happens. She hoped that the good Captain would surrender peacefully of course the Captain took the other road. Using her rapier she managed to just guard against the flaming projectile and avoid pain. However the wave of bullets was one thing she couldn't prepare for. Luckily for her Twilight Sparkle came to the rescue by casting a protective shield that engulfed all of the guards, her friends and the Princess. The purple protective sphere was the same one she used in Ponyville Confidential where she kept out The Cutie Mark Crusaders away from the library. Now that didn't stop Alendia's crew-members from firing. In fact they fired more cause of it. Alendia watched as her men just fired their weapons and the bullets just tinked off of the barrier. It was amusing but it quickly became old, raising her arm to signal to cease firing they all obliged. She was not very amused with what was going on right now. Taking a deep breath she called over Runt to have a word with him. "Runt, I need your advice?" "That's a first." He commented. She merely glared at him and continued. "How do you think I should kill them? Quick and Easy or Slow and Painful." "Both. If you can get past the barrier that is." She merely glowered at the barrier. And at the person inside who made it. When said person took a glance at her Alendia took out a Siren from her sleeve and made the motions of slitting a throat. Twilight took a huge gulp and quickly looked away. Alendia then turned back to Runt and they discussed ways to breakdown the barrier. While her crew all locked their weapons on them. Meanwhile Twilight her friends and the Princess were thinking of ways to possibly capture or subdue their foes. While the guards reformed a new defensive perimeter. "So my subjects do mayhaps have any solution to this problem?" The Princess asked. Everyone began thinking up idea's. "OoH OoH pick me pick me!" Pinkie Pie said while raising her hand and bouncing in place. Everyone had a vague idea of what Pinkie Pie might've suggested but some of them were stumped for the moment so they obliged to let her say her idea."I say we apologize then throw them a welcome to Equestria party." Everyone merely stared while Twilight thought up a real plan. Then she thought of a real good one that involved Pinkie Pie's plan as well. "Lets do it." She exclaimed. Now everyone except Pinkie who bounced for joy stared at her. "Sugacube have ya lost apart of your mind?" Applejack asked earnestly. "No I haven't in fact we are gonna trick her by making them think we are apologizing and then we subdue them all." Pinkie then stopped bouncing for joy and frowned at Twilight. "Twilight that's a horrible plan, and it's mean we should just have Princess Luna apologize and then we can all be friends." Now Rarity was butting her word in. "Darling I don't think these are those types of people you want to be friends with. Especially that Captain such uncouth behavior should not befit a Captain." Most of the girls nodded with her in agreement. Then Princess Luna spoke up again. "I am sorry Pinkie Pie but we must agree with fair Rarity they seem to be most not in the right mind." Pinkie merely pouted at how her friends didn't want to be friends with them. And so they began plotting how to put their plan into effect. Meanwhile with Alendia and Runt having finished up their conversation were now observing the environment around them. "I don't like the looks of that forest. Makes me feel like something is there." Runt stared at the forest with her as well. "There are creatures from Albion in there. Ones that we have all encountered before." Alendia gave a wary glance at Runt then back at the forest. Only she saw red eyes gazing at her. Gazing into those eyes she knew what the beast was the minute it looked at her. "B-B-BALVERINES!" She shouted with great fear. Then a great and load howl was heard throughout the whole entire island. All eyes were looking to and through trying to find out where the howl came from. Alendia drew out both of her Bladed pistols and shouted. "KILL THEM ALL!!!" And she started firing into the forest where the beasts were. Runt drew out his Ebony Fire augmented axe and started charging to the forest. All the while shouting profanities that a Psycho would shout. The crew-members were wary on what to do some wanted to flee others braced themselves for the incoming Balverine attack. Princess Luna's forces and the main six were all safe in Twilight Sparkle's Sphere of Protection. Then they all saw it a Balverine that seemingly dropped from the sky at high speeds. Soon five more joined it and all of them either howled, growled, or left a snarl of some kind. Shots could be heard throughout the beach as Crew-members begun firing at them. Balverines would strafe from side to side dodging incoming bullets and advance forward to kill them. One thing was for sure about the Balverine's on the beach they were only the scouting force.
