Rumarrow's year in Ponyville
Chapter 1: Pinkamena's Revenge!
(featuring Derpy, Rainbow Dash, Rumarrow, Rumir, Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Applejack, Worker #7, Pinkie Pie (Pinkamena))


It was a nice day in Ponyville. All ponies were happy, no one thought about Pinkie's dead, and Rainbow Dash tried to get better at her flying tricks.

“Hey Rainbow Dash, what are you doing there?”

“Um.. Hey Derpy. I'm trying to do... ehh... nothing! Yeah, I do nothing!”

“... OK, see you later.”

After the short conversation with Derpy Hooves, Rainbow flew away to train alone. Derpy went to the post office for work. But that doesn't matter, or?

Well back to story! Rainbow Dash flew away to the Rambling Rock Ridge. But she wasn't alone there. A male pegasus from Los Pegasus flew his tricks there.

“Well, can I not have my place to fly my Sonic Rainboom?”

“What? What is this... Sonic Raindoom?”

“First, it's called Sonic Rainboom! Second, it's the best a pegasus can do. Because I'm the best pegasus in whole Cloudsdale, only I can do this trick!”

“So... Then show me your Sonic Rainboom!”

Rainbow Dash started her trick. She flew higher as the clouds. After that she flew with high speed down to the ground. With a giant explosion made Rainbow Dash the Sonic Rainboom. The unknown pegasus looked with a wide mouth! He didn't believe that this is true.

“So many colors, it's nice, beautiful... Awesome!”

“Well, now you know, why they call me Rainbow Dash. What's with you? What's your name?”

“My name is Rumarrow. I'm from Los Pegasus, a town at the west coast of Equestria. I'm the best pegasus in Los Pegasus... OK, my brother is as good as me. And I...”

“Wait, are you wearing... eyelashes?”

“Ehh.. This is a birth defect.”

But Rainbow Dash was just laughing.

“Well, maybe you find it funny, but it isn't... I had a hard life! And now I want to find my lost brother. He went to Cloudsdale, but I don't know where it is.”

“Oh that's easy! Come, I show you the way.”
And so, they flew together to Cloudsdale to find his brother. When they arrived, Rainbow Dash asked Rumarrow what the name of his is.

“His name is Rumir. He wrote me in a letter that he work in a very important place in Cloudsdale. What would this be?”

“There is only one place, the Rainbow Factory. But we can't get there in, because the... are no visitors allowed. And we are only visitors... So we can go away.”

Rumarrow had the feeling that Rainbow Dash is hidding something.

“But where are you sleeping?”

“I sleep in the hotel in Ponyville, but the rooms are very small, the bed isn't quiet comfortable...”

“Well that is bad. I have a idea! Sleep in my house. I have there a nice guest room. It's not the best, but it's better than the old wooden bed in the hotel. Because on clouds you can sleep better.”

“Oh that's nice, but I can't...”

“Come on! You can thing about it. My house is there, on this cloud there.”

“OK, thanks for the offer.”

Later, Rumarrow searched his brother by his own way. He flew from the place to place. After hours of searching he stopped at a house because he was exhausted. He looked around where he is.

“Well, I knew it. You came back to stay here because you are very tired, or?”

“OK, I came to you Rainbow Dash because I need a rest place. And the only best place is your house.”

“And the hotel?”

“I heard it was burned down. But there was no dead ponies.”

“Ehh... Maybe you heard it from Derpy. She is saying thing that are mostly wrong... Or she is only like her name derpy.”

“Ohh... Now I have to stay here. I really though that the hotel is burned down. And now I haven't any things. And it's now very dark. But maybe I could...”

“Come in, or do you want to stay the night outside?”

In Rainbow's house find Rumarrow many posters of the Wonderbolts. He knew, who they are. His cousin is on of them!

“Yeah, that's the Wonderbolts. I really want to be one of them. 'cause they are superhypermagnifical!”

“I know... because they weren't nothing without...”

“Soarin'! He is one of the best Wonderbolts! And he is...”

“My cousin!”

Rainbow Dash was confused, but then she laughed again.

“Ohh, very good joke! You really got me! I thing you are a really funny one!”

“But that wasn't a joke... well, then... Where is the guest room?”

“Right behind this door.”

Rumir went to the guest room. It was really bigger and comfortabler than the hotel room. He looked at the book shelf. “Daring Do's adventures in the Jungle”, “Daring Do in the Desert Temple”. He readed this book not, but he want to.

“Hey, I'm shortly away because... eh... I have to ask a good friend something.”

He looked out a window and saw Rainbow Dash with another pegasus. He was wearing a worker uniform. But he couldn't see more because it was very dark.
They talked about something:

“You have to go away! Your brother is searching for you. And if he knows what are you doing here in Cloudsdale... I can't say it...”

“Why not?”

“Because... I really like him. He is a kind of funny and looks great.”

“Not again... You are really one of these pegasi that look at the looking of a pony. He isn't so as you think! And I will stay here! Or Cloudsdale will have a problem with the weather!”

“Then... I will try to get him away from here!”

He couldn't believe it. His own brother wanted that he goes away from here. No, not with him. He will fight! He will stay in Cloudsdale! And what said Rainbow Dash? She really like him?

“I'm back! Do you want some muffins?”

“Ehh... Yeah! Thanks!”

Now he had to find his brother. If he wanted or not!


After that night Rumarrow flew out of a window to not wake up Rainbow Dash. He flew straight to the Rainbow Factory. And there is his brother. But why is his uniform full with blood? And why is the factory under high security? He shouted his name loudly:

“Hey Rumir! It's me, Rumarrow!”

He turned to Rumarrow.

“Hey little brother! What are you doing here? What's with our mother? She is now alone!”

“Calm down! She is asleep since 2 days. And no, she isn't dead! She is only very tired of this last party... Her birthday party!”

“You know that I can't came home! I work here in Cloudsdale as the factory co-leader!”

“Only Co-Leader? Who is the leader?”

“That is Trade Secret!”

“OK. Then I let you work if you show me your workplace.”

“That's now a bad time. You know, we have some... documents to sign! And we are in a very big chaos. Bigger than the chaos of Discord!”

“Good. Go to work! I go my ways! Bye!”

Rumarrow went to Ponyville angry. He was angry because his own brother rejected him.

“Horse apples! I can't recognize him! He was very friendly before he went to Cloudsdale.”

Suddenly he crashed into another pony.

“Oh, excuse me. I'm not looking when I'm reading a book.”

“No, that's my problem! I didn't watch to the way when I was in my minds! Hey, what's this book about?”

“It's called the book of Supernatural. It's about some unnormal things that can happen to a pony. The most of this things have something to do with the Everfree Forest. And the Everfree Forest is a magical place where many horrible things happens. The only pony there, or the only zebra is Zecora. She lives in the Everfree Forest in a hut. And...”

“Twilight! I don't think that he knows every thing about that, what are you talking about.”

“Is that a... dragon?”

“Yes, I'm a dragon. Spike is my name! And this is...”

“Twilight Sparkle, owner of the library in the middle of the town. You can visit me and borrow a book if you want.”

“Ehh... Maybe I look later in your library.”

“OK... But please come not at 3-4PM, because there is a... silence hour in my library.”

“Why that?”

She didn't response. She had tears in her eyes. Rumarrow asked again, but the only answer was: “I have to go! See you later.”

Rumarrow was a little confused. But that wouldn't stop him to find more about his brother, the Rainbow Factory, and Rainbow Dash. After that he walked on to a cake shop. He readed the sign: “Sugarcube Corner. Where the best cakes are made.” There was an subheading too: “The memory place of Pinkie Pie.” First he was scared for a few seconds... But then, he walked into the shop. There weren't no cakes, muffins or else. It was dark too. Only a little bell was on the counter. He pressed the bell.
A scary voice said something.

“We have closed! Go away and find an other cake shop!”

“...”

“GO OR YOU WILL DIE!”

Rumarrow ran away fastly. Then he crashed into another pony.

“Hey! Watch out, where ya runnin'!”

“Oh. I'm so sorry. I ran away from the Sugarcube Corner because the was...”

“What the hay are ya doing there? There lives a scary... thing! Nopony knows about it, only the pegasi... And you don't know anything about this?”

“Ehh... No, I'm from Los Pegasus.”

“Oh... The best is: Ask Rainbow Dash, she knows everything about Cloudsdale.”

“Hey... ehh... Rumarrow, right?”

“Now I know your name. My name is Applejack. I work at the Sweet Apple Acres...”

“That doesn't matter now, AJ! Rumarrow, come with me! I have something important to say!”

“OK... Bye Applejack.”

“Faster, you mule!”

When the two arrived at Rainbow Dash's house she started to talk.

“I have to say something. Your brother...”

“...wants me not here. It's because his job in the Rainbow Factory, right?”

“What? How do you know that? Have you listened to the conversation last night?”

“Yes, I do. And I don't go home to Los Pegasus!”

“Well, then you know about my... feelings...”

Rumarrow was red in his face. He has only one thing to say.

“I know. And you should know why I'm staying here, in your house. I love you Rainbow Dash!”

Rainbow Dash looked very surprised.

“Uhh.. ehh.. well.. I... find you are... a handsome pegasus. And I have to say that I love you... too!”

They looked in the others eyes. Then they tried to kiss, when suddenly the wall has been broken.

“Rainbow Dash! Have you forgotten what I said? Don't love him! After my discussion you come to the Rainbow Factory! And you! Go home to our mother! You can't sneaking in the factory! I know you would do this! When you do this, you would be killed!”

Rainbow Dash and Rumarrow shouted at the same time: “No, I don't go!”

“What? This is ridiculous!”

“Yes, it's ridiculous. But the whole life is ridiculous too! You can't say that somepony have to go somewhere! Rumarrow will stay here for me! He knows everything about the Rainbow Factory!”

“Does he know the leader? I think yes, boss!”

“What?”

“Ehh... Rumarrow, this is now the time to tell you about me! I'm the leader of the Rainbow Factory. It happened all about the cupcakes from Pinkie Pie! She killed pegasi because she needed for her special ingredients pegasus wings, cutie marks and hearts!”

“What was that for a monster?”

“A dangerous for all pegasi! She had the idea to kill Celestia for the best cupcakes ever!”

“We couldn't do nothing. So we sent her to the Rainbow Factory.”

“And what's so bad about it?”

They walked to the factory. With the worker pass they came into the big and dangerous looking factory! But what Rumarrow saw was only horrible! Earth ponies are killed by a big machine. And then the machine absorb the color of the bodies! The colorless and dead pony will be thrown away.

“So. Now you know everything about it! Are you happy? No? Good! I leave you both for two minutes alone. I'm right back.”

“I think you hate me now... And I can understand this.”

“It's not bad. We know each other only since yesterday. And I promise...”

“Not now! We have to go away! He kills us in a few seconds!”

They ran to the exit and escaped by luck... But Rumir was very angry about the escape of them.

“They will come back!”

The both flew to the library. It was 2:45PM.

“Twilight! Please open the door! I'm here with a good friend and we need help!”

“Rainbow! You know it's 3PM soon! Why the hay are... oh, it's Rumarrow! How can I help you two!”

When the both entered the library Rainbow Dash told everything about that what happened in Cloudsdale. Even the part with the Rainbow Factory and Pinkie Pie.

"Why did you done this? What is when Celestia knows it."

"She knows it! Without her we hadn't upgraded the Rainbow Factory! Or do you want some sparkling cupcakes?"

She said now nothing.

"Ehh... Rainbow? Don't forgotten a part?"

"Hm? What part?"

"Ehh, no part. He is only joking! He said also that his cousin is Soarin'! Funny, huh?"

Rainbow Dash added quietly to Rumarrow: "Don't tell her anything about our words!"

And Twilight said with a laughter: "Well, THAT is very funny!"

"Mail!"

"Who is there?"

"Hey Rainbow Dash! I have a muffin for you, and for... Rumarrow: a letter from your brother!"

"What? A letter? For me?"

"And... Thanks for the muffin Derpy!"

"My name isn't Derpy! It's Ditzy!"

"Okay... Then, thanks!"

"No problem BFF!"

Then Derpy/Ditzy/However flew away.

"I'm not her BFF!"

"Well, then... But why is she flying false?"

"I told you! Derpy is derpy!"

"Yes, you told me... But what's in the letter?"

Rumarrow opened the letter.

"OK! It's time to make peace! I don't want to kill you! So please trust me and come back. If something bad will happen, you can take RD with you! I promise you! We meet us tomorrow at 10AM at the Everfree Forest!

“It's a trap! He will kill you!”

“No, I trust him...”

“Yeah, and you can trust me, that I will be angry if you two are not going home because it's now 2:57PM!”

They said at the same time “Bye!”

On the way home they started to talk again.

“So, what do you want if you meet your brother?”

“Maybe I will ask what he want from me. Later... I don't know it.”

“Please don't go! I know him better than you! He would kill you if you are there! And I don't want it that you are dead because... You know...”

“Yes, you are right. When we arrived at your home I have to tell something!”

After minutes of flying arrived Rainbow Dash and Rumarrow at her house.

“So, what have you important to say?”

“No, it's not so important... I only want to give you a present. You get it after dinner!”

“Oh my Gosh! Want it now! But I can't!”

“Patience. You will get it!”

After the yummy dinner Rainbow Dash asked for the present!

“Gimme that!”

“OK, but you have to close your eyes!”

“Well, OK.”

Rainbow Dash closed her eyes, and she though what is the present. A awesome flight with Soarin', a new flying suit, signed by the Wonderbolts. Or a flight with all of the Wonderbolts! But when she started to think about something other she felt on her lips something warm. She opened her eyes and saw that Rumarrow was kissing her! She didn't what to say, better what to do. And the did nothing because she liked it! She loves Rumarrow and he Rainbow Dash. When they finished after... a several time they started to talk:

“Well, I didn't expected this, but: WOW! You are a damn good kisser!”

“Thanks, RD!”

“No, Thank you, my Arrow!
You have to sleep for tomorrow if you want to meet your brother! He don't want to wait or?”

“You are right. Then, good night, Dashi!”

On the next morning Rumarrow woke up and saw something horrible! A post which said:
“Ohh, what for a cute couple! Now it's only the little Rumarrow who has to cry like every single day in his very poor life! Find Rainbow Dash if you can! I guess not!

PS: You have time till sunset!”

“Grrrh... If I find my brother, I will kill him for this!”

Later when Rumarrow went to the Rainbow Factory he saw his brother with to other pegasi talking.

“Rumir! Now you has gone to far! You abduct Rainbow Dash! Now give her back!”

“What are you talking about? I don't have Rainbow Dash! How do you come on this?”

“Here, this is your note!”

“...Eh, this isn't my writing style! Compare my letter with the note!”

He compared it and saw that are many differences!

“Well, you are right. But who was it with the note?”

“Oh no! Worker #7. Where is the Dead?... WHAT? HOW COULD SHE ESCAPED?”

“Who?”

“The Dead. Her real name is Pinkie Pie. We told all ponies in Ponyville that she is disappeared, and the pegasi that she is killed by the Rainbow Factory. And now she escaped... WHAT? She has escaped since 3 days? Oh no... Now she is maybe in the Sugarcube Corner...”

“Wait! I was in the Sugarcube Corner... And there was a scary voice!”

“OK! Now we know what to do. We have to fly together to Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash! Partner?”

First, Rumarrow hesitated, but then he said: “Partner!”

The brothers flew together to the Sugarcube Corner. But the door and the windows was locked with wooden planks.

“What now?”

“See, brother! She doesn't kill the ponies in the first floor. Behind the house there are stairs down to a basement!”

When they walked down they heard Rainbow Dash crying!

“Please, Pinkie. You don't have to do this!”

“RAI...”

“Shh, she don't know that we are here, OK! Let hear what she wanna do with Rainbow Dash!”

“I have to! Because you locked me behind cells. You said that I am dead or randomly disappeared. Now you have to pay... on the Pinkie Way!”

“What is the Pinkie Way, brother?”

“I really don't know it. And I don't want to know it because... See in her face!”

“Oh you're right!”

“OK, Rainbow Dash, here is THE PINKIE WAY!”

“What are you doing with the chainsaw!?!”

“STOP THERE PINKIE!”

“Rumarrow, you are here to save me! And... Rumir? What are you doing here?”

“I'm here to help my younger brother! But that doesn't matter now!”

“Yes! You have no other choice! Put the chainsaw down!”

“Why? I have the chainsaw! I could kill you all! And... Yes, you are all pegasi! That is the best of this here!”

“No!... OK, a deal... Rumarrow, Rainbow Dash and I want to say... RUN RUMARROW!!!”

Rumarrow started running to Pinkie Pie. He crashed into her and the chainsaw was dropped... on the left wing and the left hind hoof.

“Rumarrow! Are you OK?”

“Ahh.. Tie... Pinkie...”

But he fell senseless because his wound on the hoof is very big! Rumir fell angry and grabbed a rope from the table. He tied Pinkie Pie and released Rainbow Dash from the rack.

“Oh my Gosh! Rumarrow!”

“Bring him to the hospital! I take care that Pinkie isn't leaving this room!”

Rainbow Dash flew as fast as she can because Rumarrow was bleeding very hardly. When she arrived at the hospital she bring him to the next doctor.


Some days later Rumarrow woke up from his coma. He was very tired.

“What? Where am I?”

“At the hospital, my Arrow!”

“Dashi? Rumir? Have I survived or is this only a dream?”

“No, dummy. This is the real world. You survived the chainsaw massacre of Pinkie Pie! She is now under arrest!”

“Visiting Time is over! Please leave the rooms!”

“Well, brother. See you!”

“Wait please outside!

Thank you for rescue my life!”

And she kissed him on the mouth and left the room!

Chapter 2: Discord’s Return
(featuring Rumarrow, Rumir, Rainbow Dash, Discord, Night Light, Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Braeburn, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie)


Two days after the awakening of Rumarrow he felt bored. In his room there was no other pony. Books are nothing for him. He wasn’t allowed to stand up and go outside.

“Mr. Rumarrow? You have visitors.”

“Oh thanks! Who is it?”

“Well, you don’t know it, my Arrow?”

“Dashy?”

“Yes, but she isn’t alone, brother.”

“Hey Rumir! What are you two doing here?”

“Visiting you, dummy.”

“Don’t be so hard with him.”

“Okay, RD. But we have another problem. We are searching... something!”

“Something? You can’t say that the Rainbow Factory is only ‘Something’!”

“OK! We are searching the Rainbow Factory.”

“How do you mean it? How can such a big building randomly disappear?”

“We don’t know. We have only found this mysterious blue feather.”

A blue feather? Rumarrow couldn’t believe it. Which pegasus could disappear a building?

“What now?”

“You have to come with us! You can’t walk well but you can fly! And we will fly a long route.”

“What? How long?”

“First we have to fly to Canterlot. Then to the Everfree Forest because we need a potion from Zecora. After the visit we fly to the ruins. There is Princess Luna and she will help us.”

“Sure that he could fly this route? Do you remember what Pinkie Pie did to him?”

“I know! But it seems that your wing is alright, or?”

“Ask the doctor!”

“We asked him. And he said that you can be released from the hospital tomorrow!”

“That is fantastic!”

“Visit time is over!”

“What? That was only 5 minutes! We can’t go now!”

“Visit. Time. Is. OVER!”

“OK, we go now! Bye brother.”

“Bye, my Arrow!”

“Bye brother, bye Dashi. See us tomorrow!”

In the night of the same day he had an abnormal nightmare. He saw Pinkie Pie, and he was on the rack. And when Pinkamena wanted to cut of his wings he woke up!

“Wha.. What was that for a nightmare? Nurse?”

“Yeah, I’m right here, Rumarrow!”

There was not a nurse, there was Pinkamena with a chainsaw. And like the other nightmare he woke up.

“Plea... Please not again. Nurse? NURSE!?”

“The nurse can’t hear you brother!”

In the corner there was Rumir with a chainsaw. And like the other nightmares he woke up... again...

“If this is a nightmare too, I will kill me in every nightmare, even if not. OK. No nightmare. I have to tell it the nurse... And why I am talking to myself?”

He stand up, tried to walk and fell. His wings are OK so he flew through the door. But the nurse said: “Go to bed! It’s 5:30AM! You need your sleep!”

“OK, fine!”

So he flew to his bed. But he didn’t sleep because of the nightmares.

“You will get more nightmares if you find me!”

Rumarrow asked who there was. But no response!


On the next day the doctor came into Rumarrow’s room.

“Good news! You will be released from hospital.”

“Yes, I know. My friends told me that they have asked you!”

“You are right. Now: pack your things and you will be free!”

“Which things?”

“Ehh... Nothing...”

The doctor made a bad pokerface. After Rumarrow has left the hospital the doctor said: “Don’t walk to much!”

But Rumarrow didn’t hear that what the doctor said. He flew to Rainbow Dash’s house and went to Rainbow Dash.

“Good morning, Dashi!”

“Good morning, my Arrow.”

Rumarrow give Rainbow Dash a good morning kiss. Then they went to Rumir’s house. But the house of Rumir is disappeared.

“Rumir, what’s happened with your house?”

“A dark force was around my house and let the house disappearing. I could flee, but my house is now... nowhere.”

“And nopony can bring it back! You are all now in the chaos! If you find me, you will get a cake... or better: a... cupcake!”

The three didn’t know who was this voice.

“Oh no... In the hospital I heard the same voice!”

“Look! One of the three little pegasi as solved one puzzle. But now you have to know who I am. But I think you can solve this too, or?”

“Come and show yourself! I will fight against you!”

“Oh, Rainbow Dash. Did you forget me? What a blame!”

“Rainbow, this isn’t the time to fight. Wait for it! It will come.”

“And Rumir, you can’t break the wrath of the little Dashi! Only I can it. But if I would break it, it would be so boring.”

“...That isn’t possible!”

“It is, Rumarrow. You left your mother in Los Pegasus only to find your brother. You find him. Now go home! You have... Now I checked it. You have some future plans in Ponyville! You want to marry Rainbow Dash! ‘Oh, Rainbow Dash, will you marry me?’ ‘Uhh yes.’ No way! You are now like I said in the chaos.”

“Rumarrow, what is with your colour?”

“Rumir, don’t!”

“I go to our mum alone and Rainbow Dash, it’s all true!”

Rainbow Dash begins to cry.

“My Arrow! Please don’t go.”

“Sorry, but it’s time to go.”

“Noo!”

“Let him go. He comes back!”

“Uh, I'm afraid not! Now to you two! I bring you to the castle. Look, isn’t it nice?”

“Oh no... Rumir, run away!”

“Why are you going?”

A dark creature has appeared.

“Discord, what are you doing here? Are you not a statue?”

“Well, my little friends! I’m one too. But the dark chaos power is bigger then the power of the Elements of Harmony. I can make some chaos even if I am a statue! And now you can run!”

They run away from Discord to be safe for his chaos.

“Rainbow, what was this?”

“This monster is Discord, the god of chaos! He turns everything good into bad!”

“Rainbow Dash, how did he that?”

“I don’t know Rumir, I don’t know. But I miss my Arrow!”

Rainbow Dash and Rumir flew to Ponyville and run into a pony.

“Oh my god, are you alright?”

The pony said nothing.

“What is your name?”

He looked confused at Rumir and Rainbow Dash.

“OK. What is your name?!”

“Night Light.”

“Hello Night Light. Have you seen Rumarrow?”

Night Light walked away without saying anything.

“Rumir, you come from Los Pegasus. Where is my Arrow!”

“Forget him RD you can search him later.”

“But.. but...”

Rumir and Rainbow Dash followed Night Light to his house. Than they stopped.

“NIGHT LIGHT please help us!”

Night Light walked into his house without saying anything.

“NIGHT LIGHT PLEASE HELP ME!”

She began to cry.

“What do you want?”

“Please bring my brother Rumarrow back to Ponyville!”

“Negative.”

“I will pay for it!”

“OK, why not.”

“Oh, thanks! Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks!”

“OK, but give me my colt!”

“Can I come with you?”

“No RD! We have to beat Discord. But we are only two. Any good plan?”

“I have one!”

Everyone has left Night Light’s house. Night Light was searching for Rumarrow, and Rainbow Dash explained Rumir the plan.

“The plan is that we go with Princess Celestia and the other Elements of Harmony to the statue of Discord. We can banish Discord with the whole power of all magic in Equestria to another universe!”

“That plan is great. Let’s do this! But what first?”

“First, we have to find the princess! Wait here, I’m right back!”

Rainbow Dash flew away to find the princess. Rumir waited in Ponyville when suddenly Night Light appears.

“Hey, did you find him?”

Night Light nodded.

“What do you want?”

He said nothing. He only pointed at the clock. First on the six, then on the twelve.

“Did you mean 6 o’clock?”

Night Light nodded again. Then he pointed at his house and went back to his home without a word. Rumir waited again. He waited, waited and waited. Suddenly he was knocked out.

“Sorry Rumir, but I love Rumarrow.”

Rainbow Dash searched Rumarrow in Ponyville.

“Rumarrow, where are you?”

But no response... And then she saw him and flew to Rumarrow.

“My Arrow, please listen to me!”

“What do you want, Rainbow Crash?”

“My Arrow, please I love you and you love me too, you know?”

“I know what I know!”

“Rumarrow! You must trust me and we must defeat Discord!”

“D..Dashi?”

“Yes, my Arrow?”

“Where is Rumir?”

“Rumir is sleeping over there. Why?”

The colour from Rumarrow come back, but slowly.

“Where is the Princess, my Dashi?”

Rainbow Dash began to Smile.

“The Princess is in her castle, my Arrow.”

Meanwhile. Rumir woke up and saw Rainbow Dash and Rumarrow together and in colour.

“Hey, what’s happened?”

“Ehh, you was knocked out by an... a piano. Yes, a piano! Derpy transported a piano and it fell on your head.”

“OK. That is very abnormal, but it’s possible... and if Derpy is transporting something, you have to hide you”

Rumir laughed. Rumarrow asked: “Then we can go to the princess, right?”

“You can’t go to the tiny Princess Celestia. I killed her!”

“Have I heard my name?”

All three said: “Princess Celestia! And... Twilight?”

“Yes, it’s me too! But we have a problem. The...”

“...other Elements of Harmony are not here: Pinkie Pie is banished from Equestria, Applejack is with the whole Apple-Family in Appleloosa. You are only 4 tiny ponies which represent the Elements of Harmony... and the princess... too weak!”

“Twilight, my student, please bring the other ponies. We have to defeat discord!”

“Rainbow Dash! Find with your friends Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack! Fluttershy’s cottage is in the near of the Everfree Forest, Rarity’s boutique is in Ponyville, Applejack is... well, in Appleloosa. Better to split the team. I will get Pinkie Pie back with the help of Princess Celestia.”

“Brother, you go to Fluttershy. But please, she is very shy!”

“I won’t disappoint you!”

Rumarrow flew to the cottage. Rumir turned to Rainbow Dash.

“Rainbow Dash, you go to Applejack!”

“OK Rumir. And you go to Rarity. But please, she loves to dress somepony and... Well, just watch out for the fashion queen!”

The ponies went their ways and tried to find the others.

“Oh, well, that wasn’t expected. But they can’t beat a chaos king! I will wait at you, little ponies!”


At Fluttershy’s cottage. Rumarrow ran to the door.

“Hello? Anypony there?”

But nopony answered.

“OK, then I go back.”

“No, wait!”

A high pitched voice came out of the cottage.

“Who is there?”

“I’m... Fluttershy...”

“Oh, you are one of the Elements of Harmony. You have to come with me to beat Discord!”

She didn’t answered.

“Please, come with me. Only with your help can we beat Discord.”

But no response. Rumarrow began to despair. He saw little animals and pets.

“Wait, if you come with me, I will show you my pets, OK?”

“What kind of... pets?”

“Ehh.. A tortoise.”

“Uhh! A tortoise like Rainbow Dash’s one?”

“She has a tortoise? I mean.. Yes, like Rainbow Dash!”

She came with joy out of her cottage.

“Shall we go?”

“Yes, Mr... ehh..”

“Please call me Rumarrow.”

“OK, Mr. Rumarrow.”

Rumarrow thought that this was the easiest thing he did in his whole life. He imagined how difficulty the other ponies are to be persuaded.


Rainbow Dash flew to Appleloosa. But she couldn’t find Applejack anywhere.

“Hey, Braeburn! Have you seen Applejack?”

“Well, I did. But why are you asking?”

“Because Discord is returned and we need the whole power of the Elements of Harmony.”

“Oh no. If Discord won’t be beaten, we are doomed! Quick! Applejack is in the town hall!”

When they entered the town hall they heard Applejack holding a speech: “...and of course! We should take care about the next storm! But we can’t sit here in this town hall.”

“What is she doing there?”

“She is holding a speech about the 150 years storm. And this is the strongest ever!”

“Hmm.. That is bad. But we need Applejack to protect Equestria! Hey, Applejack!”

“And... Hey, there! What are you doing here?”

“You have to come with me! Discord is returned!”

“Oh, horse apples! But it’s a long trip with the train.”

“Who said that we take the train? We will fly!”

Rainbow Dash took Applejack at the shoulders and tried to lift her up.

“Oh my... How heavy are you? Better idea! Come, we take the Buffalo Express!”

Rainbow Dash and Applejack left the town hall and went to the buffalo herd. They asked whether they could be transported to Ponyville. And they have luck.

“Now to the others!”

“Hell yeah, RD!”


“No, no, too small, too big, too... perfect!”

“OK. Rarity, can we talk now?”

“Yes, my darling! What do you want to ask?”

“You know Discord, right?”

Rarity nodded.

“He came back to make more chaos than ever! And only the Elements of Harmony can stop him!”

“But what’s with Pinkie Pie? Isn’t she dead?”

“No, but this is a other story!”

“OK, but let me finish your suit. You want to look great at the gala, or?”

Rumir said quite: “Please, I want to go home!”


Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia searched Pinkie Pie in the Hayseed Swamp.

“And what did Pinkie Pie to the pegasi?”

“Well, friendly expressed she made cupcakes of them.”

“What did she? But we haven’t another option.”

“You are right, princess! Lets find her!”

After hours of searching the both found a mysterious house.

“I have waited here since... when was it? I don’t know.”

“Pinkie Pie, you are here and alright. Come, we have to beat Discord again.”

“I will come with you...”

“Well, Pinkie, that is the right way. I will revoke your banishment if you’re stopping to kill other ponies for your cupcakes.”

Pinkie Pie nodded.

“I’m not sure whether it’s right to do this.”

“Trust me, Twilight. I have a plan!
Now come with us, Pinkie Pie!”

“Okie Dokie Lokie!”


Everypony came back in the right time! They are all together! The Main 6!

“Uhh, look at these tiny crowns... Now I have to fear you!”

“My little ponies, together we can beat him! With the force of the Elements of Harmony and my royal force! You are finished, Discord!”

A bright beam was fired by the Elements of Harmony. It was so bright that Rumir and Rumarrow can’t look into it. But after the light flashed away everypony looked at the position where Discord stand.

“What? I’m alive. I mean, it was so planned! You have no chance against the new ruler of Discordia!”

Rumir asked: “But why it doesn’t work?”

Rumarrow had an idea. He went to Rainbow Dash and explained: “We have forgotten the most powerful element except magic. Love. Since I was here in Ponyville I learned something important. Everypony can fight alone, in a team you can’t failure! And with Rainbow Dash on my side I build one of the most powerful Element of Harmony.”

“And this means what?”

“That you are NOW finished!”

The 7th Element of Harmony appeared and together with the other elements and the princess they have beaten Discord.

“NO! I will come baaaaaaaaaaaack!”

“Maybe when the world will end!”, said Rumarrow.

“Oh my gosh! Brother, what was that? First you said something and then... a big flash and he was beaten.”

“I know but this is...”

While Rumarrow is telling his brother how he did this Princess Celestia went to Pinkie Pie.

“Well, what did we learn?”

“It’s bad to make cupcakes of somepony?”

“Right.”


“...and so on... Excuse me please, I have to ask Rainbow Dash something.”

Rumarrow went to Rainbow Dash and started to speak: “Rainbow Dash, I know we know us not very long, but we have made many things together that nopony usually did with a mare. But we are usually, we are unique! So here is my question: Rainbow Dash, would you marry me?”

Rainbow Dash looked with joy tears in Rumarrow’s eyes. “Yes, of course I will!”

They kissed and everypony around applauded.

Chapter 3: An Un-/Happy Change!
(featuring Rumarrow, Rainbow Dash, Rumir, Fluttershy, Rarity, Princess Celestia, Applejack, Gustavo, Princess Luna)


One week after the death of Discord the wedding preparations started. The wedding will be in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash was with Fluttershy at the carousel boutique for the wedding dress. And Rumir was planning a stag for Rumarrow.

“This will be the best stag in Equestria.”

“Hey big brother, what are you doing?”

“Uh, hey brother. I’m doing... ehh, oh, look, there is Rainbow Dash!”

“Where?!”

In this moment Rumir flew away and Rumarrow saw Rainbow Dash.

“Hey, isn’t it tradition not to see the bride?”

“Not in the wedding dress, my Arrow!”

“My Dashi, are you nervous too?”

“I think so.”

“Can I come with you?”

“No, you can’t. I have to select with Fluttershy and Rarity the wedding dress. And you know the tradition!”

“Yes, I know the traditions of weddings!”

“Oh...”

And then they went their ways. Rainbow Dash flew to the boutique and Rumarrow flew to his brother in Cloudsdale.

“OK, here at the Rainbow Factory he can’t find me.”

“You think so?”

“What the... Well, the Rainbow Factory isn’t the best place to hide.”

Crying came out of the Rainbow Factory.

“What was that? Is the Rainbow Factory still working with earth ponies?”

Meanwhile at the Carousel Boutique

“No, no, too much colors, too small for a... wedding.”

“Urgh... Can we do it faster? My hooves are falling asleep!”

“Please, my darling! Stand still or your dress will be a disaster!”

“Come on Rainbow. You have to stay there only for a few minutes!”

“You said it two hours ago too.”

“But she is right! Only five minutes and I can make your dress! Your dress will be one of the best dresses I’ve ever made!”

“Yeah. You know the dresses for the gala?”

“Oh, please, no! These were only normal dresses! Your’s a wedding dress! A wedding is the best a pony have! You have to look great! The finest food, the best music, the most royal wedding place, the bride and the groom look excellent, Celestia will say “Now you are married!” and you can kiss the other. “Eh, yeah. You will find him there... somewhere... But now you have to finish my dress! If you don’t finish it you won’t find him!”

“Yes, you’re right. Finish it! Fluttershy, can you give me the garn?”

“I can... eh, if you want.”


“Here, go this way, Rumarrow! Only this dark corridor!”

Rumir closed the door to a house. It was dark. All windows were closed. Only quite whispers were audible.

“Where are we?”

Suddenly the light was flashed on.

“Surprise, brother! I organized a stag for you!”

“Holy... And what now!”

All the other male ponies said: “Party!”

And so on! They celebrated the stag of Rumarrow.

“Wow brother, you did that for me?”

“Yes, my little brother.”

“But I need a new mane for the wedding.”

“Twilight can help you little brother.”

“But I can’t go yet or?”

“You can go later Rumarrow.”


Meanwhile by the girls.

“Fluttershy, where are we going?!”

“We are going to my cottage, Rainbow.”

“But I want to go to my Arrow!”

“You can’t go to Rumarrow, you know.”

“Yes, I know but I miss him really.”

“But it's...”

“...an old tradition! I know it, but today there are still many things to do!”

“And we solve one problem! My pets and I are making you a new mane style.”

“How do you solve this mane problem? It doesn't look like one today.”

“Oh, I have my plan!”

That sounded not very familiar like Fluttershy. But Rainbow Dash wasn't interested by this.

At the party for Rumarrow there was bombastic mood!

“We can party all night long!”

And so they did! They celebrated his stag and after many hours of party they woke up in the early morning.

“Uhh, what’s happened? How I came to this place?”

Rumarrow was at the Sweet Apple Acres.

“Hey there. What ya’ doing on the apple plantage?”

“I only know that we celebrated my stag. We celebrated and drank a... strange smelling drink. Rumir brought it.”

“I can’t help you with your problems. But you can help me by flying away.”

“Oh, OK!”

Rumarrow flew away and found Rumir... But he noticed Rumarrow too. Rumir tried to run away.

“Brother wait!”

Rumir ran faster. Rumarrow flew as fast as he can and catched Rumir.

“Why are you running away from me?”

“Because last night... there was something strange. We celebrated all the night. And at 3AM I think many ponies felt asleep. But you... you are sleepwalked over Ponyville and landed here at the acres.”

“But why? Why would I do this?”

“Because... something wasn’t right with the drink. I smelled today at the bottles of it and it smells like a poison.”

“WHAT? You brought a drink mixed with poison? Why do you want to kill us?”

“I didn’t want to kill you. And I also drank from it too!”

“Well, this is very... strange. Where do you bought it?”

“I didn’t bought it. I got it as a gift for the other things I bought. It was at this shop there. It’s new but...”

Suddenly the bells were ranging. It was 11AM.

“Oh my... I have a barber appointment. I’m coming too late. See you later, Rumir!”

“Yeah, see you!”

Rumarrow ran as fast as he could. The barber was a on the other side of Ponyville. He had to be fast because his appointment was exact on 11AM.
When he arrived the barber he still got the mane cut.


“Urghh.. We have to go again to Rarity?”

“Yes, Rainbow! You have to... pick up your dress Rarity made for you! She worked the whole night because a wedding in Ponyville is rare.”

“OK, then let’s look. Hey Rarity! We are here to... OH MY GOSH! What happened with the boutique? Rarity! Where are you?”

“I’m here... This corner...”

“Rarity, what the hay happened with the boutique?”

“...housebreaker... Robber! Two of them... but really brutal!”

“Rainbow, she is too shocked to talk. We have to call the police!”

“No! It won’t help if we call the police... I have to take it into my hooves.”

“But why?”

“Because if I can’t get my dress, this case will be personal!”

Rumarrow and Rumir went to the shop where Rumir bought the drink.

He was half French and half Italian. A rich pony with the idea to open a shop in Ponyville.

“And we know each other. But what we are here for is your special drink!”

“What is wrong with it?”

“There was poison in it...”

“But your brother told me to...”

“Stop it! Haven’t I told you something?”

“Oh, you mean that with not telling anypony?”

“Right. And you are telling it somepony... and in this moment!”

“Oh, you are right. Sorry, but your brother told me that I can’t told you everything we told about!”

“You are not the smarted or?”

“Huh?”

“That doesn’t matter! And you brother! Why are you not telling me the truth?”

“Because... ehh..”

“He lied because he put...”

“Shh! No! Shut up!”

“Why should he shut up? What is wrong with you?”

“Because... I tested something!”

“What?”

“I tested how ponies react to my experiment. It was a mixture. I only want to see if it’s a poison or only something harm.”

“Oh, OK brother but can we talk about the poisen from last night?”

“No brother, We must styling your mane!”

“Ok fine.”


Meanwhile Rainbow Dash searching the thief from her wedding dress.

“Where is the thief? I must find him or her!”

“Hey, Dashi! What are you doing here?”

“I’m searching my wedding dress. The dress was stolen by somepony.”

“What? How could somepony steal a wedding dress?”

“I don’t know, but he let this letter in the boutique: ‘Steal the dress and bring it to Alpha-Romeo-3. You know what this is!’ If we know what Alpha-Romeo-3 is we could find the dress.”

“Brother, we have no time for her dress. Your mane...”

“Why are you so... impatient?”

“Yes, why are you impatient?”

“Because... the wedding is soon! And you both want to marry perfectly.”

“Yes, you’re right. But we have to find the dress too. You know: no wedding dress, no wedding!”

“I will take it into my hooves!”

Rumir was more impatient than just now! Rumarrow and Rainbow Dash saw it in his face.

“Ehh... Can we go now? The barber is waiting!”

“OK, you both can go now... Under one condition: I know where this position is.”

“Who told you that?”

“You, right now!”

“But how... why... you are clever! Clever enough to confuse me! And you won. Your prize is the place where the position ‘Alpha-Romeo-3’ is.”

“And where?”

“It’s the moon.”

“The moon? How could you get to the moon?”

“Brother, please trust me! I didn’t make it out of revenge.”

“You all can’t trust me! You are the one that I can not trust! I will go!”

“No wait!”

But Rumir flew away.

“We don’t need him. We are the two ponies that everypony will know in a few days.”

“Yes. Only we two...”

“But now we have only this one little problem. We have to find my dress.”

“Nopony can fly to the moon.”

“Nopony, except Princess Luna.”

“Yes, you’re right! Let’s fly to Canterlot!”


When Rumarrow and Rainbow Dash arrived at the royal castle they had another problem!

“Princess Celestia, we have to talk to your sister.”

“I know. Follow me.”

Princess Celestia guided Rumarrow and Rainbow Dash to the prison.

“Why are we here?”

“Because my sister has stolen something... and she don’t want to say, what is it and where is it.”

“We know it.”

“My dress. It was stolen by her. And she brought it to the moon.”

“Yes, we stole it and brought it to the moon. But we have a reason for it!”

“Yes, my sister! Tell me why!”

“A blue pony with green and black mane asked us for something a long time ago. Now we wanted our payment. He gave us this lovely dress. We asked where he got it. He said it’s not important. So we took it and sent it to the moon.”

“Bring it back! I need it immediately!”

“I will go with my sister and fly to the moon.”

“OK, you go and we will... wait.”


After the visit Rumarrow and Rainbow Dash flew to Rainbow’s house. When they entered the house they began to discuss.

“Why would your brother do that?”

“I don’t know...”

“Ohh, you don’t know. Do you know something. I believe not!”

“What do you mean?”

“Look! Your brother doesn’t like it to see us together because he needs me for the Rainbow Factory! And if we get married now he won’t see me in the Rainbow Factory.”

“When you say. And I have to trust you! I will marry you and we need confidence to the other.”

“Now you are right! Come, tomorrow is a stressful day and we need sleep.”

“Yes, you’re right. Night, my Dashi.”

“Night, my Arrow.”


In the next morning they were woken up by a loud sound.

“Why can you not use the door like everypony?”

“Because the royal family needs a royal door!”

“A hole in a wall?”

“Well, a better plan?”

“The door!”

“Now there is no door!”

“Then you go through your ‘royal door’ you made.”

“Oh my... What’s happened with my house?”

“Irrelevant. But we have your dress!”

“OH MY GOSH! YOU GET IT!”

“And you Luna! Say it.”

“We... I’m sorry!”

“It’s not your fault. It’s the fault of another pony.”

“Yes... But I want to know, where he is right now.”

“Come on, Rumarrow! Now it’s only we two! For the rest our life.”

“Right. I love you! You say only the right things in the best moment!”

But not the truth. Rumarrow had a pokerface. He hope that Rumir came back. But he got the impression that he won’t come to the wedding.

“They won’t forget what they did. If they want to fight, they get their fight!”


One month later after Rumir went away by envy the wedding has to begin. The preparations was the best you can get in Ponyville. The wedding will be in the town hall.

“Oh, Fluttershy. Thanks for helping me with the last things for the wedding.”

“No problem, Rainbow. I know that you are busy so I may help you.”

“Dashi, I have good news and bad news.”

“What’s happened, my Arrow?”

“My family will coming to the wedding.”

“I think that’s the good news.”

“The bad news are that my brother comes too.”

“Wait what?”

“Yes, Soarin’ and Spitfire comes too.”

“You mean your cousin and Spitfire, my Arrow.”

“Yup, but that isn’t a problem, or?”

“Oh, of course not, Rumarrow!”

But it was a problem! She remembered the time where she was with Soarin’ at a cloud. They have looked into the others eyes. But when they’ve wanted to kiss Spitfire has appeared and they haven't been alone. She hoped that Soarin’ forgot what happened, better what not happened at this cloud.

“Um... Rainbow, we have to... see for the food... if you aren’t busy.”

“Yeah, you’re right! You can go, I’m coming in a few minutes... And you, my Arrow. We see us soon!”

“Bye, my Dashi!”


Rumarrow had to think about Rumir. Is he a very jealous pony that he would do this? Why is he coming when he has said that he can’t trust them? Rumarrow was very sad by thinking about that. A month or two were over when he has found his brother. Now Rumir is gone again. This was the worst thing that can happened because Rumir was one witness of the wedding. The wedding is only perfect when both witnesses of the wedding are present.
Suddently he met a friend.

“Hey Rumarrow. How are the last preparations for the wedding going on?”

“Hey there, Twilight Sparkle. They are going fine. But I still have to do some very important things.”

“Before you do these, you have to come with me! Rarity asked me for bringing you to the boutique! Since she has finished cleaning up the mess the robber had done she started with your suit.”

“Oh right, my suit! Come, quick!”

So Twilight and Rumarrow went to the Carousel Boutique to get his suit.


“Hey Rarity. I have brought you...”

“No time to talk! My darling, come in! Here is your suit. You have to try on it. I’ve worked a long time at your suit because I hadn’t made a suit for a pegasus ever! So this is one of my projects I want to be proud of! And you have to say whether it fits!”

“Rarity, calm down! It will fit... And it fits!”

“Oh, thank godness! You don’t know how exhausting it was to make your suit!”

“I really... don’t know how to... say it.”

“What to say, my darling?”

“How your... work is...”

“Try it to say it in one word, Rumarrow! Rarity will be happy. You know I had the same problem too... She made for all of...”

“Indescribably!”

“Pardon?”

“Your work. Your work is indescribably. You are the best suitmaker ever! And I know many!”

“By the way: Rarity, do you have the suit for Rumarrow’s brother?”

“The suit for Rumir... Yes it’s here! Do you want to take it with you?”

“Sure...”

But Rumarrow didn’t know whether his brother would come.

“OK, now I have my suit. I have very important things to do now! Thank you, Rarity!”

“No, I have to thank you! Hope we see us soon! Bye!”

Twilight and Rumarrow said “Bye” to Rarity and went on.

“So, what are these ‘very important things’ you have to do?”

“First I have to go to the town hall. There will I look whether everything is alright for the wedding because it’s tomorrow.”

“You’re right! Princess Celestia will come with Princess Luna and another very important pony. She hasn’t told me anything about her.”

“Well, maybe they will bring a royal pony. But who?”

“Nevermind! Better you do your things and I will look for the rolay carriage.”

“OK, see you.”

Twilight went to her library and Rumarrow to the town hall.


In the town hall he saw how beautiful the decorations was. All the lovely flowers! The place where the orchestra will play. Outside will be the celebration. There was the DJ desk ready for Vinyl Scratch. The table where Rainbow Dash, he and royal family will sit.

“And the day tomorrow will be one of your best day!”

“Princess Luna!”

“Yes, it’s me. I came a bit earlier to see whether everything is alright. And it seems it's so.”

“Yes, everything is at the right place! May I ask you something?”

“Yes, you can!”

“Who is the special pony who will come with you and Princess Celestia?”

“I shouldn’t say it to somepony... But you are the groom. This pony, better this alicorn is our cousin. Her name is Viola. She is a relative young pony but she knows every royal Canterlot Traditions.”

“OK, thanks for the information.”

“No problem! But now I have to fly back. We see us tomorrow!”

“Good night, Princess Luna!”

It was already night. The moon rise wasn't so far from the time away. Because he knew who was the unknown and royal pony he flew to Twilight’s library.


“Hey Twilight! I know who the special guest is.”

“Me too! How do you know that?”

“I asked Princess Luna... And from who do YOU know that?”

“Guess, brother!”

“R-R-Rumir?!”

“Surprised to see me?”

“But how? Why? Aren’t you jealous anymore?”

“Me? Jealous? But why that, brother?”

“Haven’t I told you that I don’t need Rainbow Dash for the Rainbow Factory?”

“No, but...”

“But what? You have your answer. Now, it’s really late. Where can I sleep, Twilight?”

“Right there, behind this door.”

“OK, I will go. I have to sleep too.”

“Then, we see us at the wedding!”

“Wait, what?”

“I’m a witness of the wedding. Forgotten? You have said it. And before you ask: the second one is Fluttershy!”

“How do you know that?”

“Ask the bride!”

Then Rumir closed the door immediately.
So Rumarrow flew back to Rainbow’s house. He opened the door quiet. All light were off and Rainbow Dash was already sleeping. So he went to his bed and slept too.


The next day Rumarrow woke up in the early morning. Rainbow Dash was already awoken and out of the house. Today was the day, the wedding!

“Knock, Knock! Anypony home?”

“Who is there? I’m very busy!”

“Ohh, not a very special pony but your brother!”

“What do you want?” Rumarrow opened the door.

“I heard you have taken my suit with you when you had visited with Twilight Rarity. Indeed it’s a suit for a gala but it looks like one made for a wedding. So I can wear it.”

“Right. Yes, your suit... It’s in my wardrobe. I have to wear my suit too. Can you take it out of the wardrobe?”

“Sure, no problem, brother!”

Rumir went to Rumarrow’s wardrobe. He opened it and didn’t find it.

“Hmm... Maybe he would hide it somewhere... Or maybe he put it between the other clothes.”

Rumir took his suit. It was a black one like his brother’s one. After minutes of putting on Rumir said that was waiting a surprise.

“You have to come outside if you want to see it.”

“No! I wait in the house for the carriage to the town hall.”

“Urgh... Only one look!”

“...OK! But if this is a trap... Wait, a royal wagon? Seriously?”

“Yes, I have some contacts to the royal family. So I could get a wagon like this one.”

“I see it was a long time since you had been away!”

“Yup, that’s right, brother. Come, we have to go now!”

“Ehh... Right! Let’s go!”

But Rumarrow didn’t understand what contacts Rumir had with the royal family. If he ask him out about that, he only said: “Brother, you have more important things to do but thinking about that!”

After a not long trip with the royal wagon to the town hall Rumarrow was a litte bit nervous.

“Brother, what’s the matter? You look like an old apple.”

“It’s the day! I will marry Rainbow Dash today! We will live together! We will be a family... And I don’t know if I can do this.”

“Look, you are one tough pony who has survived Pinkamena’s attack, who discovered the 7th powerful Element of Harmony. Indeed these are only two arguments for your bravery but they are strong enough to show how brave you are! And you want now to run away? Today you are with RD the important ponies! You are Rumarrow! You can do this, brother!”

“Yes, you are right! I can do this!”

They exited the wagon and went to the town hall.

“Hey look girls! There is the groom! Hey Rumarrow! It’s me, Pinkie! You remember me, right? We have beaten together with the others Discord! I told you, after that all I was very hungry and I went to the Sugarcube Corner to eat a very big cake! Then a few days later we had to move away. ‘We’ are Mr. Cake, Mrs. Cake and me, Pinkie Pie! But since the day before yesterday we moved back to Ponyville. And yesterday Rainbow Dash was at the Sugarcube Corner. She asked for food because she will marry somepony! She didn’t tell me who because she though I knew it already. But I don’t know it. Do you know?”

“Ehh... I... guess you will see it in... a few minutes.”

“Oh, will she marry today?”

“Yes, here... in the town hall!”

“But aren’t you marry here a pony today?”

Rumir whispered to Rumarrow: “Just say ‘Yes!’ and she will leave you alone.”

“Y... Yes, Pinkie! That’s right!”

“Hmm, I don’t get it. I will think about it. I need some spiritual space!”

“Good job, Rumar’!”

“How?”

“Rumar’, a shorter version. It’s old Apple Family Tradition to call friends with shorter names if they have a long name.”

“OK, ehh... Jack?”

“Please, don’t call me Jack. That is too masculine! Better is AJ.”

“OK, AJ!”

“And Rumarrow? What have you asked Princess...”

“Guys, I got it! Rumir is marrying later! Now will Rainbow marry!”

“Wrong, Pinkie. Try it again if you want a special cake!”

“CAKE!”

Pinkie Pie jumped in the air and landed into a tree.

“Now we have more time to talk! Go on, Twilight.”

“What I wanted to ask was...”

“Everypony! Princess Celestia has arrived! Please enter now!”

Mayor Mare asked everypony to enter the town hall because Princess Celestia will hold the ceremony. Rumarrow, Rumir and Fluttershy went to the front.

“OK, Octavia, your job!”

“Yes!”

Octavia was there with her orchestra for the classic musical atmosphere.
In the next moment the bride, Rainbow Dash, entered the town hall. This was the moment where Rumarrow saw her in the wedding dress! It was a fine white dress. Rainbow was adorned with a pretty red rose. After she has slowly walked to the front she whispered into Rumarrow’s ear: “This is our moment!”

“Mares and Gentlecolts! We all came together to be witness how the bride Ms. Rainbow Dash and the groom Mr. Rumarrow will marry. Have you your own marriage speech? Then you can hold your speech!”

“Rumarrow, you are the best stallion a pony can get. You rescued me for a bad attack of a crazy pony, you protected Equestria from Discord. But the most important reason why I’m marrying you is... You captured my heart. I love you, Rumarrow!”

“OK, now the groom.”

“Rainbow, I came to Ponyville to find my brother. But I learned the last months that other ponies are also important than your goals. So I have learned how to love somepony dearly.
You are a cool pony who likes adventures and cool things. You are the perfect pony a male pegasus can have. I love you, Rainbow Dash!”

“So, now after the wedding speeches were said I ask you first: Rumarrow, do you want to take Rainbow Dash to your wife?”

“Yes, I will!”

“Rainbow Dash, do you want to take Rumarrow to your husband?”

“Yes, I will!” 

Princess Celestia did with her magic the rings on their wings.

“Now you can kiss the bride!”

Rumarrow looked for a few seconds into Rainbow’s eyes... and he kissed her! Everypony in the town hall was touched. It was the best moment of Rumarrow’s and Rainbow’s life. Now they will live together, as a family.

“Hey, wait! It’s not all over! Outside is a party!”

“You are right, Pinkie! Shall we go out, Dashi?”

“Sure, my Heartarrow!”

They all went outside. The bride and the groom in front of all. Outside there was the DJ desk, with the right pony at it, Vinyl Scratch

“Hey, RD! We can start now! Wanna hear some new plates?”

“Don’t wait, play them!”

“You’re the boss!”

Vinyl put her plates on the desk. Whole Ponyville could hear it!

“That’s the best party ever! No, wait... It will come better! Hey Rainbow! You have to throw the bouquet.”

“Oh, you’re right! Everypony! Watch out!”

Rainbow Dash throws the bouquet to the offer ponies and saw Rumarrow as he began to talk with his mum and Soarin.

“Soarin and mum, I thought I never see you again.”

“Rumarrow, my little cousin! I couldn’t forget you! your brother told me that you getting married with Rainbow Dash.”

“And I know it from Soarin that you getting married, Rumarrow.”

“Mum, please, I am married. And Soarin, where is Spitfire?”

“She is talking with Pinkie Pie.”

“There comes my Dashi!”

“Hey Soarin, and hello mother of Rumarrow. And Heartarrow, we have to go to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They’re waiting for us with Twilight and a little Alicorn.”

“Ok, my Dashi. Mum and Soarin, I must go! See ya!”

“Hey brother and RD. Where are you going?”

“We are going to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, Rumir.”

“Oh, well, do that! I will talk with mother.”

“See you!”

“Come, Rumarrow! Princess Celestia is waiting.”

Rumarrow and Rainbow Dash went to the princess.

“Ah, the bride and the groom. Please, follow me. I want to introduce you to my cousin, Viola.”

A small alicorn came to Princess Celestia.

“Now, do you want to introduce yourself or have I to do that again?”

“...I will.”

“So, you are the special guest everypony was talking about.”

“Yes... everypony?”

Viola looked a bit sad. Rainbow Dash looked into the small eyes of Viola.

“Ohh, isn’t she cute? What do you say, Rumarrow?”

“Yes, she is, Rainbow.”

“She is really nervous Rumarrow.”

“I know. Here are too many Ponies for her.”

Viola goes back to her cousins Luna and Celestia, because she is to nervous to speak.

“My little Ponies, you can leave the party whenever you want. Don’t forget it.”

“I think we goes again to my mum and Rumir. OK, my Dashi?”

“Wait...”

A quiet voice came from Viola.

“Yes?”

“You are... Rainbow Dash?”

“Yes, it’s me. Rainbow Dash! Best pegasus in whole Ponyville and Cloudsdale!”

“I’m a big fan of you! Can you tell me everything to be one of the best?

“Viola, you know that we are here at a wedding!”

“Sorry, but she is so cool!”

“Hey, Dashi! You have a very big fan group. You didn’t told me about that.”

“Yeah, that’s so because I want not to boast.”

“Oh, that’s OK then.”

“OK, it’s time for you.”

“Oh, right. Dashi, I want to bring you to a nice place in Ponyville.”

“What place?”

“Get in the royal wagon. You will see.”

“Mh.. OK. Thanks everypony that you came.”

Rumarrow and Rainbow Dash went to the wagon. Rumarrow said that this place would be fantastic. On the way Rainbow Dash asked what this place is.

“OK, I will tell it after you asked me 50 times. It’s a nice hill with a nice view. Rumir said it’s the best place in Ponyville.”

“Oh, that’s so romantic!”

Rainbow kissed Rumarrow. And then Rainbow made a sad face.

“Hey, what’s wrong? Aren’t you happy?”

“It’s this... little alicorn.”

“Viola? What’s with her?”

“I don’t know. But what is when we have kids?”

“I think it would be beautiful but exhausting.”

“Oh... Right...”

Rumarrow saw that something is very wrong.

“Look, Dashi! There is it.”

“Your brother was right. This is the best place! A wonder that I haven’t seen this place before!”

They exited the wagon when they arrived. And then they lawed the whole sunset until the moon came up.

“And what will happen tomorrow, my Arrow?”

“I don’t know, but it will be a nice morning. I promise.”

Chapter 5: The Day After

“Uhh? Where am I? Oh, it’s my home... but where is my Arrow?”

Rainbow Dash was wondering what happened last night. She woke up in her house and knows that she was with Rumarrow on a nice place with the best view all over Ponyville. And then... she couldn’t remember.

“Rumarrow? Are you here?”

But it was only silence. Rainbow walked in her house upstairs and downstairs. Rumarrow wasn’t there.

“Rainbow Dash?”

“Rumarrow? Are you there?”

“Sorry to disappoint you, but it’s only me, Rumir.”

“Hey, Rumir! Have you seen Rumarrow? I’m searching for him!”

“Rumarrow? Isn’t he with you?”

Rainbow Dash made a real sad face. It said that she was near to cry.

“Well, maybe he... is gone because there was something last night he want not to talk about...”

“But you can talk about it!”

“I can, but it’s something Rumarrow only have to tell you.”

“OK, but there is only one question! Where is he now?”

They thought about where he could be.

“Is that what happened very bad?”

“It changes his life! It’s so bad!”

“Then he is only at one place... The Hoof Tavern!”

“What is he searching in a tavern?”

“I don’t know, but we can ask him and...”

“I won’t come with you... He won’t see me because this last night... It’s unforgettable what happened...”

“Well, if... you say so... But I will tell you everything I get!”

“OK, but... don’t say that I’m searching for him!”

Rumir nodded and flew away. He flew to the tavern called “The Hoof Tavern”. When he entered the tavern he saw his brother sleeping.

“Psst, Rumarrow! Hey, wake up!”

“Uhh, wha?”

“Hey, why are you here and drinking... tons of applejuice?”

“Cuz... Iz Nothin for ya!”

“What are you talking? You have to come out of here.”

“Why should I?”

“Because... umm..”

He hadn’t got a reason... only that Rainbow Dash was searching for him. But he couldn’t told him that because Rainbow had forbidden it.

“Well, iz seemz you havn’ anythin... important?”

“You need my help! You are a pony that isn’t drinking so much! So, why are you here?”

“Brother, please... OK, I tell you everything. Please, sit down!”

Rumir and Rumarrow sat down to an old table with old seats.

“So, what happened last night?”

“You know that we was at this wonderful place you told me. And when the sun was down...”

Rumarrow started to talk about, what happened after sunset last night.


“Isn’t it beautiful, my Arrow?”

“But it’s not as much as you!”

“That shouldn’t hear Celestia.”

“But who...”

“...cares about...”

“...her now?”

They started to laugh.

“It was the best idea to search for Rumir. If I wouldn’t came to Ponyville, Pinkie Pie would...”

“Please, not now, my Arrow! It’s our time now!”

“You’re right...hmm...”

“What’s the matter? Aren’t you happy? You have married me, your dream pony.”

“Yes, that is it... We are married. That was a change in our lifes. And that’s not all!”

“How do you mean that?”

“Well... what is with... little foals?”

Rainbow Dash was scared about that what Rumarrow told.

“You mean, little...”

“Yes...”

“And you are thinking about having some?”

“Not now... of course not!”

“But they are... cute, like the Cake-Family. Have you ever seen the little babies?”

“They are very cute, yeah, you’re right! But... you haven’t to...”

“But... I... want!”


“And then brother... you know!”

“Ehh... better know as few details as possible, right?”

“Yes, right. But now after this all happened... I hide for Rainbow Dash...”

“But why?”

“If she is pregnant, me as father? Did you forget what our father have done to us?”

“I know...”

Their father left their mother after Rumarrow has been born. His eyelashes was to embarrassing for their father.

“I even don’t know his name. Mother told me that this is not important... And you? You know father’s name?”

“Actually, not.”

“OK, but thanks for cheering me up!”

“No problem, little brother. But go to Rainbow Dash now! Certainly she is waiting for you!”

“OK, brother. See you later!”

“Bye!”

Rumir went to a good friend of him and Rumarrow flew to Rainbow Dash. He didn’t know what to say... What if she hates him... No, she wouldn’t.

“Dashi? Are you here?”

“Why have you left me?”

Rainbow Dash sat on her bed with the face to the wall.

“Rainbow, it’s not what you think! I...”

“How do you know what I’m thinking? You can’t read minds!”

“I know, but...”

“...but you think that you will be a bad father.”

“Rumir told that story!”

“No, you told me that, a few seconds ago.”

“OK, now you know it and I will tell you everything about ‘the story’!”

“Then...”


“When I was born I had my birth defect.”

“Your eyelashes, right?”

“Right. And after 2 days friends of my father came to visit me in the hospital. But when they saw me they started to laugh. They saw my eyelashes and... My father was very embarrassed.”

“That is very hard.”

“Yes, and that’s the reason why he left us!”

“What did he? He left you, Rumir and your mother?”

“And I don’t want that this happen again.”

“Oh, my Arrow! You won’t fail as a father. You haven’t failed ever! A pony who has beaten Discord is the best father in the world!”

“If you say so... You are the best mare ever!”

“And you’re the best colt!”

And after the lovely words they kissed.


One week later Rainbow Dash felt ill. She had to puke and she didn’t know the reason.

“Rumarrow, please help me!”

“What is it?”

“I feel... very... ill...”

“I can see it!”

“Please, Rumarrow, help me!”

“There is only one help in whole Equestria: a doctor!”

They went together to the hospital. There the next best doctor helped Rainbow Dash and asked her several questions.

“Headache? Stomach ache?”

“No. Yes.”

“Something bad eaten today?”

“No, not that I know of!”

“Then there are only two possibilities: You are pregnant, or you have some bad viruses that will kill you in one or two weeks. And one question will show us the truth. Please tell me: Have you slept with a colt?”

Rainbow Dash didn’t know what to say. If she say yes, she would be pregnant. And that would mean that she can’t fly because she has too much weight. If she say no, she would lie to all ponies and would make a big fiasco because she might have one week to live.

“Please answer it. Have you slept with a colt?”

“Rainbow, say it! There is only one answer that is right. And we know it!”

“...yes, I did.”

“Well then. Congratulations! You are pregnant. But let me say: If you have bigger stomach ache if you are flying, you need rest. And you, Mr. Rumarrow: Give her mental assistance! If she hasn’t got some, your foal would be psychologically ill.”

“OK, got it!”

“Rumarrow, can we go home, I’m very tired!”

“No problem, my Dashi!”


When they arrived home, Rainbow Dash freaked out.

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! We are getting a foal.”

“Yes, isn’t that fantastic?”

“Yes, but how will their name be?”

“I don’t know, and we don’t know whether it is a boy or a girl.”

“You’re right. Better think about it when we know more.”

When they go to bed, Rumarrow had only one thought: He would be a bad father and don’t want that the same will happen again. So he only had one choice to do. For Rainbow Dash, for the unborn foal! He had to run away. He writed at a piece of paper a letter and flew away.

“Uhh? Oh, that was a night! Maybe I will stop making so many parties!”

“RUMIR!”

“Ahh... what, or better, who was that?”

“WHERE IS HE?”

Rumir was confused. He asked who was there.

“RUMIR, YOU... WHERE IS MY ARROW?”

“Oh, it’s you, Rainbow... Why are you here... in my home?”

“Your door, it was not closed! But that doesn’t matter now! You know where Rumarrow is! He’s gone... again! And that is your fault. You talked with him and now... You are really crazy!”

“Wait, why is it my fault that he is gone?”

“You have talked with him! Here is a letter he wrote me before he had left me!”

Rumir took the letter. He began to read: “Dear Rainbow, I have to say that this are the last words you will see from me. I don’t want that I will like my father. Now I’m away and it’s better so! Maybe our foal will be very pretty.
I know that you can’t take it alone in your hooves. So I want that Rumir will help you with the little foal! I know he will refuse my request. But he has to! It’s not for me, it’s for you... and our little foal! So please give him this letter and... If you read this, Rumir: Thank you for give me the right direction! I will never forget you!

“So, anything to say, mister?”

“Well, I... You don’t get it!”

“How do you mean that? You told him that he have to fly away and be a coward!”

“No, I didn’t! I only told him to...”

“Please stop it! Stop telling me a lie and say the truth!”

“But it is the truth! I found him and told with him. After minutes of talking he said that he will come to you.”

“What have you talked about?”

“We talked... about... several things.”

“What exactly?”

“What happened after the wedding...”

“WHAT? WHY HAS HE TOLD YOU THAT?!”

“Because... He needed my advice!”

“When he will come back soon, he will...”

Suddenly Rainbow started to cry because of pain.

“Hey, what’s wrong with you?”

“My stomach... It hurts...”

“It’s because of the pregnancy. You have to calm down and stay home. You need to rest!

“But I can’t! I have to fly!”

“Rainbow! You have to! You want a hale foal, right?”

Rainbow Dash had to whine... But she didn’t. She started to talk with a calm voice.

“You are right. I have to rest. But please, you have to find him again. You are the only pony who can find him.”

“If you’re resting now, I will search for him!”

Rainbow Dash grumbled: “OK, but please search him, quick!”

“Now fly... better go home and stay there, I will be right back!”

Rainbow Dash went home and Rumir started searching for Rumarrow. He flew to The Hoof Tavern where he had found him there before. But when he entered the tavern he couldn’t see him.
Rumir flew many hours from here to there and back. But he couldn’t find him anywhere. So he went to Rainbow Dash to tell her that Rumarrow can not be found.

“Rainbow Dash?”

“Rumir? Why were you so long away? Have you find Rumarrow?”

“Unfortunately not. I can’t find him. I was at the tavern, in all hotels, everywhere! In the library, in Cloudsdale, in the Everfree Forest... No Rumarrow.”

“But...”

Tears in the eyes of Rainbow appeared.

“He is my Arrow... why is he... leaving me?”

“It’s the same reason. He don’t want to be like his father.”

“So we have to find him...”

“He is somewhere... nowhere... anywhere!”

“I... can’t trust you! You hide something!”

“What? Why do you think so?”

“You have to know something about your father. Please tell me everything!”

“What are you talking about? My father is like an anonymous pony! I don’t know anything about him!”

“If you say so... But now, where is Rumarrow?”

“Maybe he’s in Los Pegasus! That’s a long trip! But if he is there, I will bring him back.”

“And what’s with me?”

“If you want you can search for Rumarrow. But please: Don’t overdo it!”

“I won’t!”

“OK, then, see you when I found him!”

“Bye!”

Rainbow Dash was worried and angry at the same time. Rumarrow was away, has left Rainbow. But he had a good reason. She was confused. So she went out to get fresh air. When she started to search, Soarin’ appeared randomly.

“Hey... uhh, Rainbow Dash, right?”

“Yes, it’s me... What are you doing right now?”

“I’m searching for... something.”

“Oh, OK. If you see Rumarrow, can you please tell him that I’m missing him?”

“Wha? What happened? Is he gone?”

“Yeah, he is... But...”

“Oh my, Rainbow Dash, you are very sad now, or?”

“Not very sad!”

“Yeah, OK, I have to go now. See you later. And congratulations!”

“See you... Wait a minute? For what?”

“You are pregnant, aren’t you?”

“Yes, but who told you that? Me not!”

“Rumarrow told me that.”

“But he knew it since yesterday. And he is gone since last night.”

“Ehh, but... I have to go now! It’s very late too! See you!”

And Soarin’ flew away. Rainbow Dash flew home to go into bed. It was a hard day for her and she needed to sleep.

“Maybe I will find him tomorrow... but where?”


When Rainbow Dash woke up, she saw a letter on her face.

“I’m sorry, Rainbow. I can’t go back home to you. It’s a big mission waiting for me. I’m so sorry that I won’t come back!

After she walked out of her room she smelled something.

“Hey, what’s that? Pie? What is a pie searching in my house?”

She picked up the pie.

“Hey, I know this taste! Blueberry. But I’m not hungry now.”

She put the pie on a table. Maybe for the diner she thought. When she was ready to search more for Rumarrow she had one brilliant idea. Twilight could have a spell that might allow her to look where he is. She flew to Twilight for the spell.

“Twilight, please help me!”

“Rainbow, why are you waking me... at 6AM?”

“I need your help. Please tell me that you have a spell where I can find my Arrow!”

“Sorry, but I’ve never heard about that kind of spell.”

“That is not possible!”

“But I have a spell I always wanted to test. It’s a spell that only works with two married ponies.”

“WHAT? Please, use it!”

“OK, when I have used it, you will see for 15 seconds what... your Arrow is seeing.”

“Don’t talk! Too much times wasted!”

“OK, calm down... Here we go.”

“Ehh, Twilight? What is haaaaaaaaaaaa.....”

“Rainbow? Rainbow! Oh, no! NO, NO, NO!”

Rainbow Dash is randomly disappeared. Twilight started to panic and tried to find a redo spell.

“Where is it? Where is the spell? Reanimate, Rebirth, Reception, Redox... Ahhh!! WHERE IS THE SPELL? I have to fix it! But...”

Suddenly Twilight was interrupted by an explosion.

“What was that? Spike? Was that you?”

Rainbow Dash had only one chance. If she will miss it, she would never find Rumarrow. She couldn’t think about her and the foal... alone. Rainbow Dash took off and flew directly to Cloudsdale. She knews only one pony, better only one pegasus that loves so much pie. When she arrived at Cloudsdale, she stopped at a house.

“Hey there, Rainbow Dash!”

“Whaa... Oh, hey Spitfire. How’s it going?”

“Everything is alright... And I saw the brother of Rumarrow today... He told me, that you are pregnant. Is that right?”

“Yes, it’s right.”

“Oh, many congratulations! And where is Rumarrow?”

“Well, he is... Can I come in?”

“Sure, no problem!”

They entered the house. It was the home of Soarin’ and Spitfire.

“Sweetheart, I’m home!”

“Hey, how was the tra..ra..ra.. Rainbow Dash!?”

“Yes, my name is Rainbow Dash. Problem?”

“No, he didn’t expected you... I mean I didn’t expected you... I mean, argh!”

“Hey, what’s going on over there?”

“Rumarrow?”

“Oh... Well, hey Rainbow... Uhh, what are you doing here?”

“I COULD ASK YOU THE SAME!”

“Soarin’? What is he doing in our home?”

“Well... Rumarrow, it’s time to say the truth!”

“But.. I can’t!”

“TELL ME THE TRUTH, RUMARROW!”

“...OK, Rainbow... but don’t hate me! I left you, because I can’t do it. I am the one pony that would be a bad father!”

“Rumarrow! You can’t believe how shocked I was when I found your letter! Why haven’t you told me that personally?”

“Because I thought you would hate me...”

“Thanks, mom!”

“And who is this?”

“Ahh, this is Rumarrow! He’s my husband!”

“How did you get him? He’s wearing eyelashes!”

“I love him because he’s funny, he is the cousin of Soarin’ and he saved my life!”

“Ma’am, you have a very lovely daughter!”

“And you are very brave! Please, she is a wild pegasus! You have to control her a little!”

“OK, hope I won’t fail!”

“Fail at what?”

“On nothing, darling!”

“Why are you here, mom?”

“Because I have to visit you... And tell you that I live now here in the near!”

3 months were past and it was snowy. Hearth’s Warming Eve time! All ponies played and had fun in the snow. They said that the pegasi had done a good job. But one pony wasn’t very impressed.

“Come on, Fluttershy! It’s just snow. It won’t hurt you!”

“Thanks, but no, Rainbow! It’s too dangerous... You know what happened last time.”

“But that was an accident... I think. You wanted to the frozen river and felt into it.”

“And today I want to take care about you!”

“Why that? Why have somepony to take care about me? Tell me it.”

“You...”

“Wait, only three words! That sounds dramatic, ok?”

“...ok...”

Fluttershy inhaled deep.

“You are pregnant!”

“I don’t get it. I know that I’m pregnant... But what have this to do with ‘to take care about somepony’?”

“Your unborn foal is a kind of unprotected if you aren’t carrying on them.”

“Hey, don’t tell me what I’m doing alright! The only thing I can do is to take care about my unborn foal! I can’t fly right because of it. Rumarrow has to help Rumir in the Rainbow Factory and I am alone home. So tell me what I have to do now!”

Fluttershy said nothing. She was very scared about how Rainbow Dash had talked to her.

“OK, Fluttershy. I go to Rumarrow. He said he had a present for me in the library... Maybe a book or so.”

“Wait!”, Fluttershy said with a high pitched and quiet voice. “I will come with you to be there if something bad happens.”

And so they flew together to the library.


In the library Rumarrow waited with Twilight Sparkle and the present for Rainbow Dash.

“She will love it. And she will come in a few minutes.”

“So Rumarrow. What kind of present is this one?”

“It’s something special. I wrapped it up in this big box.”

“And what is it?”

“It’s a...”

In this moment Rainbow Dash entered the library.

“Hey there!”

“Hey Dashie! You came very fast.”

“It’s not fast if you ask me. Somepony wanted to come with me.”

“I’m... almost... there!”

Fluttershy gasped for air. She was puffed because she was slower than Rainbow Dash.

“Oh, and hey Twilight! How’s it going?”

“Great, I’ve just finished my study about Hydras.”

“Ehh, what?”

“A Hydra. A mythical creature that has three heads. If you detach one of them, new three grow of the neck.”

“Eww, that sounds very disgusting! But anyway: Where is my gift?”

"It’s right there but... there is a problem.”

“What problem?”

“You can’t open it until Hearth’s Warming Eve.”

“But why are you telling me that a present is here waiting for me?”

“It’s just... I want this to be a very special gift for you.”

“Aw, but can’t you at least tell me what it is?”

“That’s the whole point in surprises. They’re more fun that way!”

Rumarrow smiled at his wife and then tilted his head.

“Why are you here anyways? Except for the present, of course.”

“The pegasi have to create a heavy storm by afternoon.”

“And?”

“Look at me! How do you expect me to do this?”

“You don’t have to fly. You only have to make sure everything goes alright.”

“Are you sure? I mean, it’s my duty and all you know.”

“Trust me, have I ever let you down before...?”

“Now that you mention it.”

“See? Now please, just trust me with this. You’re doing a great job already. Just let them finish off the rest.”

“You are kidding me! They won’t handle it alone.”

“That scares me a little bit... But ok! Use this spell Twilight! For Rainbow Dash!”

Suddenly the door was opened with a loud slam!

“What will you do, son?”

“Mother? What are you doing here?”

“What am I doing here? I try to stop you from this dumb idea!”

Rumir entered the room. Everypony looked bewildered to him.

“I’ve heard about Rumarrow’s idea. He told me that when you was with Fluttershy at her cottage.”

Rumir started to retell what Rumarrow had explained him.


“Brother, you don’t know what I have found over here!”

“What is it, Rumir?”

“Rainbow Dash with an age of few months.”

“Hey, she is really cute. A wise decision to...”

“...marry her. I know, I know.”

“What are you trying to tell me?”

“Nothing special... except that Rainbow Dash isn’t the old one.”

“Huh?”

“Yes, look at her. She is more the “I stay home and you make the work”-Pony than the Ironpony.”

“Don’t talk about her like this! She is the same pony like 4 months ago! And she will be so!”

“You don’t say... and what is this?”

“I think you are right.”

“Great. And now, we have to clean up this mess here!”

“We are brothers! But the only problem is your dumb idea! A colt can’t be pregnant! It’s against the rules of nature!”

“Pah, the nature is nothing against magic!”

“Rumarrow, you don’t understand what is your brother trying to tell you! Indeed magic is stronger than the nature... That doesn’t mean that you will survive it.”

“Start now! I want to help Rainbow Dash!”

Rumarrow’s mother flew out with the words: “You are no longer my son!” Twilight started to use the spell. Her horn glowed and suddenly a light flash flashed all.

“Rumarrow? Are you ok?”

“...”

“Rumarrow?”

“Wha..? Where? Has it worked?”

“I don’t know, my Arrow. But look how fast I am now!”

“Rainbow... Where is your foal?”

“Don’t worry, Fluttershy! It’s safe! But Ruma...”

“...” Nopony said anything. Everypony was confused.

Rumarrow looked into the mirror. He saw himself... with a big abdomen. He was pregnant, a very strange thing to be.

“Rumarrow... I’m out too! I... can’t... Forget it!”

And Rumir flew out of the library. Rainbow Dash’s mother was speechless. She went slowly backwards through the door and left the library too.

“Ehh, Rumarrow? Your... face!”

“What! What is... I look like a mare! Twilight, what’s happened to me?”

“It’s a side effect.”

“I hope this will only last one week too.”

“Then I have to disappoint you.”

“What you do mean, Twilight?”

“You will be a stallion, but with a face of a mare.”

“What?!”

“Rumarrow, you have done the right. And now, please excuse me. I have to do my work!”

“Wait Rainbow Dash! What is when it doesn’t change back?”

“You will look a little bit different. Is that a problem for you?”

“Yes because my mother hates me for having done that right now!”

“But I love you even more for having done that!”

“I know, Rainbow Dash. But what is with Rumir and your mother? They hate me too.”

“It’s better to speak with your brother first. And if you have done that, speak to the mothers.”

“OK, my Dashie. I will do that... but what is with my face? The others will laugh at me... or something worse!”

“Look, there is a mantle. You can wear it without being noticed.”

“Thanks, Dashie. We will see us later.”

“You mean in 6 days, Arrow.”

“Well, then... see us.” And Rumarrow gave her a Goodbye-Kiss.

Rainbow flew out of the library with joy. Rumarrow picked up the mantle and wore it. When he wanted to left the library, he saw that Fluttershy and Twilight weren’t there too.

“Where are these ponies again?”

“They told me that they will try to find a solution for your problem.”

“Spike? Where are they exactly?”

“I don’t know. Maybe they are at Zecora’s hut.”

“OK, thanks.”

“Sure, no problem.”


Rumarrow went out to go to Rumir. When he arrived exhausted, he realized that he wasn’t home. Rumarrow was very sad, when suddenly somepony saw him.

“Excuse me, do you have the time?”

“Ehh... No, I haven’t.”

“Wait, do I know you?”

“No, I don’t think so.”

“You are... Rumarrow? What’s happened to you?”

It was Spitfire. She was very bewildered.

“Why are you so fat? And why is your face very different?”

“Is it? I haven’t noticed it. But that doesn’t matter. Do you know where Rumir is?”

“Yes... ehh, no. Soarin’ told me that he wanted to go to Rumir. I don’t know the reason but they aren’t here. I wanted to pick him up.”

“But where are they?”

“I don’t know. But they have to come here back. We will wait here.”

And they waited, and waited, and waited. And finally the two have arrived.

“Soarin’! Where were you two?”

“We... ehh, we was eating applepie!”

“That seems legit.”

Everypony entered the house.

Rumarrow took off his cape. Soarin’ and Spitfire was confused.

“Because I asked Twilight to use a Pregnancy-Transfer-Spell on Rainbow Dash and me?”

“And this is, what you want to tell me? This isn’t new!”

“Of course it isn’t new. But what is with our mother? You told it to both mothers, you chump! Our mother hates me because your stupidity!”

“What? You wanted that you are pregnant. And because I’m your older brother it is a task for me to take care about you!”

“But why do you want to destroy me?”

“Because a stallion can’t be pregnant! And you are stallion... with a face like a mare. I think that is the punishment.”

“But why our mum? I like our mum and you...... you hurt me with that and I thought my only punishment is the face that like a mare.”

Rumarrow begins to cry.

“Brother, please understand me! I...”

Rumir couldn’t finish his sentence.”

“I can’t understand you if you aren’t finishing your sentences!”

“I knew that this would happen!”

“What?”

“Yes, I asked a fortune-teller about my future.”

“Why that?”

“Nevermind... But she told me something strange. My brother would be hexed and so on.”

“Why are you saying it right now and haven’t told me that earlier?”

“Because I thought I could stop you before you would have done that!”

“And now: look at me! I feel like a stallion but doesn’t look like one! It’s all your fault!”

Rumarrow began to cry again.

“Calm down, brother. You have to come with Soarin’ and Spitfire. They will take care about you!”

“First to our mother, then to Rainbow’s mother! I have to talk with them!”

“Wait Rumir!”

“What is it, brother? I have to hurry up because they might move away from here after that all what happened!”

“Can you fly first to Zecora’s hut in the Everfree Forest?”

“Are you crazy, brother? I won’t fly to it without a reason!”

“Spike said that Twilight is visiting Zecora to find a solution for my face problem. And I ask you now whether you could maybe fly to the hut.”

“Well, OK then! I will do it! See us later brother!”

Everypony left the house. Rumarrow was going with Spitfire and Soarin’ and Rumir flew to the Everfree Forest with the hope to come out uninjured.


When Rumir entered the forest, he found something strange on the ground.

“What is this? A head... made of stone?!”

He was very scared. But Rumir had to go deep into the forest. When he walked around, the first thing he saw was the old ruins. In those ruins there was another pony.

“Hello, are you ok?”

But right now the pony disappeared.

“Creepy.”

Finally Rumir found the hut. He knocked on the door. A white-black striped pony opened the door.

“Ah, a new friend. Have you been send?”

“Ehh... yes. Rumarrow, my brother, told me to ask Twilight whether you have a solution for my brother.”

“I have to tell you there isn’t one! You can’t make it undone!”

“Twilight, please tell me that isn’t true!”

“It is, Rumir! Your brother will have a face of a mare.”

“Oh no! What can I tell him?”

“The only way for his desire, he must dance in a fire!”

“What?”

“She means that Rumarrow has to die.”

“But that wouldn’t be fair for my brother!”

“So he must to decide, his child, or he have to hide.”

“OK, thanks for the information. I have to go now.”

“Please take this with you!”

“What is this, Twilight?”

“It’s a mythical crystal! It protects the pony who wears it against the creatures in the forest.”

“Thanks Twilight! I will wear it!”

“Now then, fly to your brother... Or better not... I don’t know! You have to decide!”

And Rumir decided to tell him that after he flew to Rainbow Dash’s mother. It would have been great if Rainbow was there too.


Meanwhile at Rumarrow, Soarin’ and Spitfire.

“So, and that’s the reason why you did that?”

“Yes, Spitfire. I just made if for Rainbow Dash.”

From the kitchen Soarin’ asked: “What? I didn’t understand you!”

In this moment somepony knocked on the door.

“I don’t know! Soarin’, please open the door.”

It was Rumir. He came back with good news and bad news.

“Brother, I have to say something!”

“What is it, brother?”

“There is a solution for your problem, but...”

“How do you mean ‘but’?”

“You have to die if you want your old face.”

“WHAT?! This isn’t possible!”

“So you have to live with this... It’s time to go to bed. You can decide: Would you like to sleep here, at my home or at your home?”

“I’m going to sleep at my home. But what is with Dashie’s mother?”

“I will talk to her tomorrow. And after that I will visit our mother.

“Can I come with ya, brother?”

“Sure, you have to explain it mother. I’ll only help you.”

“Brother, I must say you something. It’s about the spell. I think I’m a mare.”

“WHAT? Why are you thinking so?!”

“I was on the toilet and saw ‘it’.”

Rumir was speechless.

“What?”

The others looked amazed. Then Spitfire said: “Why you said it not earlier?”

“I was scared about it. And I have feelings like a mare.”

“Brother, this is crazy... but it’s magic!”

“You have to say sister. But when I’m a mare, then is Rainbow a colt right?”

“I don’t know it. We have to ask Twilight that too. But not now. You have to go to bed!”

“No but! It’s now really late! Then, goodbye to you, Soarin’ and Spitfire!”

“Goodbye you two too!”

They left the house of Soarin’ and Spitfire and went to Rumir’s. Rumir thought this would be a loud night.


On the next morning Rumir was woken up by a loud noise.

“Argh... what is it now?! You kept me the whole night awoken.”

“MY... STOMACH! IT HUUUUURTS!”

“Maybe because you’re pregnant?”

“No, it hurts more than normal!”

“Go to the hospital!”

“Only when you come with me, Rumir.”

“Rumarrow... It’s an emergency! I have to come with you!”

“Thanks, brother!”

They went together to the hospital, but slow! Rumarrow had horrible pain and he couldn’t walk fast. But when they arrived, there were some problems with the hospital files of Rumarrow.

“Yes, here are the files of Mr. Rumarrow. But you aren’t him! You can’t get into there with those.”

“I am Rumarrow! I’ve used a spell on myself and now I am a mare.”

“We could fix this! We enter you...”

“NO! Don’t! That will go away from alone! I came to you because I have stomach ache because of the pregnancy.”

“Maybe you are only stressed. You should go home and make you a relaxed day.”

“OK. Thanks nurse.”

When they have left the hospital Rumir started to small talk: “Soo... What do you do now while I’m away?”

“I don’t know. Maybe I will lay at home in my bed, doing nothing. But what is with our mum?”

“I’ve said I will talk to her!”

“You promised me to take me with you!”

“Right! And I will take you with me! But first I have to talk with Rainbow Dash’s mom.”

“OK, brother. But please be quick!”

“No problem, br... sister!”

“Please, call me brother.”
“But you have said that...”

“I’m a mare... but psychological I’m your brother.”

“Right... But now I have to go to Rainbow Dash’s mother.”

Rumarrow flew back to his home to make an relaxed day and Rumir to Rainbow Dash’s mother. He had only one chance!


“Hello? Anypony there?”

“Who is there?”

“I’m Rumir. Can we talk?”

“Rumir... Rumir... I know you! You are the brother of the husband of Rainbow Dash, right?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

“Then I have to say that I don’t want to speak with both of you!”

“You have told me this... thing with the spell. If you hadn’t told me that, I would be happy now! It’s Hearth’s Warming Eve soon and you are ruining my holiday happiness!”

Rumir entered the house. It was a small one. But it was big enough to live there.

“About this incident in the library.”

But no response. He was senseless. Rumir was worried about his life. So Rumir lifted him up and tried to carry him to the hospital. When he arrived at the hospital Rumarrow was transported into the next free room.

“Don’t worry. She will be ok in a few days.”

“He!”

“Whatever!”


Two days later Rumarrow wakes up in a hospital.

“Where am I?”

He saw his brother sleeping neighbor him.

“Brother? Why are we here in the hospital?”

“You was senseless. I don’t know why. I have asked the doctor too. He also doesn’t know why.”

“That is crazy. Have you talked with mother yet?”

“No. I waited until you have woken up.”

“Like I have told you: You are the best brother ever!”

Rumarrow hugged his big brother Rumir. When they wanted to leave the hospital they were stopped.

“Wait a second! We know what happened to you!”

“Yes, then tell me pls!”

“You have used the spell when you wasn’t pregnant. This couldn’t get your body and as a result you had low blood pressure.”

Rumarrow put on the mantle with which he had been brought into the hospital. They went together to their mother to talk with her about the incident. But when they have arrived at the front door of the mother’s house, Rumarrow began to cry.

And Rumir knocked on the door. But when the door was opened they saw their mother crying on the door.

The mother nodded and they entered her house. She went crying in the kitchen. Rumir followed her and Rumarrow went to a table. On it there was an odd letter. On the letter stamped was a symbol. The symbol... of the Los Pegasus Academy. He took the letter and sit down to read it in calm.

“My dear love,
it’s now 19 years that I have left you. My heart craves for you, my brain can’t stop thinking of you! You can’t feel my sadness. But what you had said still hurts me. You thought that I have left you because of Rumarrow’s birth defect. It was another reason. The police was solving a crime. Somepony has robbed the jeweler at the Main Street. It was broken open with a special tool of the academy. And because there were hoofprints on it and everypony said that I have done the crime I was wanted. When the police started to search for me I fled. I couldn’t thought what they would have done to me. I hope you can forgive me.

After finish reading the letter Rumarrow’s mother took the letter.

“That isn’t yours! Wait a moment... Is that you, Rumarrow?”

But he didn’t answer.

“Mom? Ah, there you are! Have you... What is this in your hooves?”

“Ehh, this is only a letter from a friend of mine.”

“But why is there a stamp on it?”

“Because...”

The mother began to cry and said: “You don’t have to sorry, son! It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have been so angry on you!”

They hugged each other.

In this moment Rumarrow put on his hood.

“But mom, I thought your name is different!”

“It’s just because of a long story. It’s too long and difficult to narrate it.”

“Then tell me please, why your name is Zask... Whatever!”

Rumir ran out to Rumarrow. He asked why he was crying.”

“It’s the pain! I can’t... This all with our dad... I... I...”

Rumarrow’s voice turn quieter till he was senseless.

“Rumir, do you... What’s happened?”

“She is senseless. We have to get her as fast as we can to the hospital!”

They transported together Rumarrow to the hospital. And when they entered the hospital, they was stopped by a nurse.

“Wait. What is he searching here again?”

“She! Can’t see her face?! She is senseless after she ran out crying of pain.”

“Sorry, but in the files there is a ‘s’ entered. This stands for ‘Stallion’.”

“But how is this possible. Let me show the files... Wounds on wing and hoof... Annoying the nurses... Used a spell... Wait, what kind of spell?”

“He told me it was a Gender Swap Spell.”

“WHAT?!”

Because of the loud shout of the father Rumarrow woke up.

“Wha... Where am I?”

“What have you done?!”

“Father, please you have to...”

“...to leave you. All of you! I can’t realize it! My son is a mare! How could this happen?”

“I made it for... Rainbow Dash.”

“Who is that ‘Rainbow Dash’?”

Rumarrow felt senseless again.

They went to an empty room. Rumarrow was laid into a bed.


Another 2 days later he woke up. What he saw, was unbelievable.

“Hey, Arrow! Haven’t seen you a long time ago.

“Dashie! You are ok. I have missed you so much.”

“Tomorrow you are again pregnant.”

“I know Arrow. But what is with our mothers?”

“Rumir cleared everything.”

Rainbow Dash kissed Rumarrow on the mouth. But then Rumir and his parents came into the Room.

“I don’t have to know why they are kissing, or?”

“No, you don’t need to know.”

“Oh, hey there, Rumarrow’s mother, Rumir and... Who are you?”

“I’m the father, Slava!”

“Slava... That sounds so... foreign! But cool name!”

“Thanks. But why are you kissing her... I mean him?”

“You said it like it’s not possible.”

“Just because I don’t know really!”

“And that is only of his mood swings?”

“Yes... I could ask Twilight when it will stop.”

“Who is this... Twilight? Is she your...?”

“No, she isn’t. I haven’t got one!”

“Then tell me, who is she?”

“She is a unicorn who knows nearly everything about magic. But she hasn’t no idea how to use the spell correctly.”

“And because of that he is a mare?”

“Yes. But like she had said he will turn tomorrow into a stallion... with one handicap.”

“Handicap?”

“He will have a face like a mare for the rest of his life!”

“What did you say Rumir?!”

“Slava, please! Don’t be angry!”

“Angry? Angry doesn’t describe my mood! I will crush him, smash him!”

“What happened to you? You are not the self Slava like for about 19 years.”

“WHAT? I’M LIKE THE OLD ONE! AND NOW: COME WITH ME! YOU TOO, RUMIR!”

“No, I won’t go!”

“I hope not... but I don’t know the answer.”

Suddenly it knocked on the door.

“RUMARROW! OPEN THE DOOR IMMEDIATELY!”

“Oh no! It’s your father!”

“I can’t talk with him! Do that!”

“Pff... Stallions...”

Rainbow Dash opened the door.

“What do you want?”

“WHAT I WANT? RUMARROW! HE HAS TO COME OUT!”

“Ehh, he isn’t home.”

“HAVE YOU LOOKED HOW DARK IS IT? HE IS AT YOUR’S!”

“Right... but he isn’t home!”

“MAKE SPACE!”

He pushed Rainbow to one wall to get to Rumarrow.

“Now... WHERE IS HE!?”

“...I’m here!”

“Ahh... There you are! Now come with me! I have to talk with you!”

“Just I’ve said it in the hospital, no!”

“YOU ARE COMING WITH ME... RIGHT NOW! DO IT OR I WILL HURT YOU!”

The father smashed Rainbow Dash away.

“You forgot somepony!”

Rumarrow, Rainbow Dash and the father said at the same time: “Twilight?”

“Yes, I brought her because I knew that something is wrong with ‘our father’!”

“And I’m just wondering why you are knowing my name!”

“I HAVE HEARD MANY ABOUT YOU!”

“Please stop yelling! But I know, who you are!”

Twilight used a special spell. It was a Truth Face Spell. What they saw was striking.

“We knew it! He is a Changeling!”

“Oh, now what to do? You haven’t got anything to catch you!”

“You are right... But I’m here too!”

Twilight used her horn magic to knock out the Changeling. It wasn’t a long fight. It wasn’t even a fight.

“Uhh... How...”

“Rumir! You have to bring this Changeling out of Ponyville. Better: Bring him to the North!”

“Understood!”

“Rumarrow, Rainbow Dash! Get ready! It’s midnight soon!”

“Dashie, are you alright? It saw like a very hard smash.”

“Yeah, just a little rude, but I’m ok.”

“Your face!”

“It’s only a graze! Nothing special!”

“If you say so, I will trust you.”

“Look! It’s midnight.”

A glow was around Rumarrow. The spell was redone. The glow became stronger and by reason of this it was around Rainbow Dash too.

“What is going on with us? Dashie?”

“The pregnancy is transferred now! Please do nothing, Arrow!”

“OK, Dashie! But what is when...”

Unexpectedly the glow was brighter than the sun. Twilight had to look away while the transfer took place. And when it has finished Twilight looked at them and saw Rumarrow not pregnant and Rainbow Dash pregnant.

“It worked! And now to Rumir! I will help him with...”

It knocked on the door. Rumarrow opened it and there was the mother of Rainbow Dash and the mother of Rumir and Rumarrow.

“I’m so sorry that I didn’t trust you, Rumarrow.”

“That’s ok, mum!”

“And I’m sorry too that I was a kind of disgusted to you. But anyway! Rainbow Dash, you are pregnant, not him. How was the storm too?”

“Some of us wanted to try it again. Every Changeling has failed... except me! I was in Ponyville when I heard that your father is writing letters to your mother! I used the chance, changed myself into your father and visited your mother.”

“Have you forgotten what our food is? Love! We need love! And your mother loves your dad so much that I wanted to eat from it!”

“You disguise me! And now go away! If you come back, I will bury you alive!”

“Now you scares me a little bit.”

“Only a little? Have you heard what my brother had done with Discord?!”

“OK, I will go!”

The Changeling flew away and Rumir laughed. After finishing his laughter he flew home too.


On the next night everypony enjoyed a Hearth’s Warming Eve. Rumir, the mothers, Soarin’, Spitfire... They all came to Rainbow Dash and Rumarrow’s to celebrate Hearth’s Warming Eve.

“Thanks to all of you! And now let sit down, everypony! We have to eat!”

Everypony said: “Right, Rainbow!” They sat down and while they ate they talked together.

“So Soarin’. Where have you met Spitfire?”

“We are both Wonderbolts. She has teached me many things! I thought she would be only my teacher. And now I love her soo much!”

“Don’t forget the time when I have forced you to fly 100 laps. You have looked when you had finished the 53rd lap.”

“It was extreme!”

“Extreme? I’ve done them easily.”

“I really would know how you have done this!”

“Simply: Train, train, train!”

“He trained... successfully! Now he can fly 54 laps.”

Everypony, Soarin’ too, laughed. It was a sociable group. Past midnight it was time of giving. Everypony got a present. Rumir got a new sunglasses. “On Winter? But thanks!” Rumarrow got a long kiss from Rainbow Dash. The mothers got some new dresses. “They look lovely!” Soarin’ had made Spitfire a marriage requesting. Everypony was pleased. And Rainbow Dash...

“Dashie, I have a big present for you!”

“What is it?”

“It’s over there!”

Rainbow Dash opened the present. It was a cot.

“It’s for our foal, right?”

“Yes, for our little foal.”

“Where did you get this?”

“I don’t bought it... I made it myself.”

“Rumarrow, you...”

She kissed him again. And here ends our Hearth’s Warming Eve story.
