1: Prologe
Prologue
Authors note: This is going to be a VERY long series, about Two parts and 6-8 chapters each part. Please enjoy and make sure to like and favorite!
A while after Discord, The god of Chaos/Disharmony was defeated by the Mane 6 wielding the Elements of Harmony, the two Alicorn Princess' sensed a disturbance and realized something very terrible was going to happen to Equestria soon. The Mane 6 were quickly informed of the whereabouts of the two co-rules and Equestria's suspicions. They all thought it would be something other than Queen Chrysalis, queen of the changlings, or Discord, God of Chaos/Disharmony, being that both of them were recently defeated. Even though all 8 of them believed that it would be something much worse, they were all wrong, but also right in a way. Although they were wrong in the way of it not being Discord or Chrysalis, they were right about it being something more horrible then ever previously experienced. They all felt the disturbance, but all in a different way. For example, Fluttershy started loosing her incredible patients with the animals, Rainbow started to loose focus during flying practice, and Twilight experienced lesser skills in magic. All 8 were having problems like these, but were mainly being affected by the fact that they all felt the same evil presence. Something very bad was brewing in Equestria, and none of them liked it.
They all felt this same presence, quickly worsening by every passing day, hour, and even minute. Especially the two Rulers of Equestria. Both Alicorns experienced nightmares during sleep, and horrid migraines when awake. They though they were slowly loosing power, and they were right. They were also loosing intelligence mostly loosing memories and knowledge of the Elements of Harmony, and their full power. Every day the two princess' were getting weaker, but only small portions of their strength were leaving their bodies. Matter of fact, everyone seemed to be loosing their minds, but slowly enough to where they couldn't tell unless someone other than the Mane 6, or the Alicorns noticed. Luckily, spike did notice that Twilight Sparkle was slowly going insane, but just slowly, barely noticeable. Spike explained what HE thought was happening and then Twilight figured it all out. Someone was manipulating her friends and her minds to the brink of insanity. But who was powerful enough to do that. More importantly, how long until said person arrives at Equestria? Or mabey, they are already here.
About 5 days passed since the first day of this unanswered conundrum that caused 8 very important ponies pain and insanity. Twilight Sparkle about went over the tipping point for her insanity chart, being consumed by books an the matter at hoof. Luckily, again, it twas Spike, the baby dragon who saved his mentor from being completely consumed by madness. Twilight sent both princess' a letter about it and they responded almost immediately, confirming a meeting at the palace within the next couple hours. Twilight sent everypony else a letter on the matter and got conformation letters back, via mailpony ( because none of them had a spare dragon lying around ).
Two hours have passed since the conformation letter was sent to the princess' saying that they will all be there within the next 20 minutes. The problem was, the farther away from their homes, it seemed the more insane they got. So they decided to bring along spike to help calm them down and take them away from the metaphorical ledge leading to a chasm of insanity. Once they arrived, they noticed that the whole city of Canterlot had been informed of the recent problem. There was nopony wandering the streets, and there wasn't a single soul to see in Canterlot, except for the occasional moving curtain on houses revealing a unicorn or Earth-pony, staring out the window, almost scared looking eyes, looking at the 6 ponies and 1 dragon. When they reached the castle, there were guards everywhere. Not one place in front of the large grand entrance was uncovered, or didn't have a muscular looking Royal-Guard standing there. When they stepped up to the door, four stallions used their magic to open and then close and lock the doors behind them. Looking around the room, they say a large table with exactly nine chairs, two of which were occupied by royalty.
