Argue for pettiness sake

“Hey guys Fluttershy here, you remember Sunset the girl who used to bully me but now we're all friends now. And Twilight the transfer student”
Fluttershy sat at her computer typing away at yet another blog post of her usual day. She started doing this as a way to help get over her shyness by talking to random people on the internet without anyone knowing it was her. Yet recently she just uses it as an online diary of sorts telling her many of followers about her day.
“Weeeeeeellllllll the other day they told the rest of us that they are dating now and that they have been for about some time. Apparently, they got together while we were at Camp Everfree.”
“Of course we were all happy for them two but about a week later (today) they came to class arguing. Just loud shouting about…… let me just tell you how it all went down.

“I'm telling you it's not cold you're just over exaggerating.”
The 5 girls Fluttershy was on the floor playing with Angel, Rarity sitting at the medium sized table taking up one of the 4 chairs while Rainbowdash was seated next to her tuning her guitar. Pinkie Pie and Applejack were on the other side both catching up on unfinished homework. They all turned to the door of the music room where the sound of Sunsets voice was coming from.
“Over EXAGGERATING!” Twilight spoke her tone getting angrier as she opened the door and the couple walked in.
“Yes you are, we literally sit on the couch with a thick heavy blanket on us and you still believe it's cold” Sunset fired back.
“Well, sorry that I'm still cold cause I'm laying on someone who has skin made of ICE!” Twilight retorted as she and Sunset walked over to the wall hooks and hung their bags “it doesn't help that you won't turn the heater on for some reason”
“MY skin is cold? That's rich coming from the one who’s an actual space heater just by existing.” Sunset and Twilight both headed towards the only couch in the room that was usually left empty for both of them.
Sunset sitting on the edge and leaning towards the armrest with Twilight laying down on the couch with her head on Sunsets lap.
“I'm not a space heater,” Twilight said puffing her cheeks at Sunsets comment.
“Twilight, honey, babe your body becomes the temperature equal to the earth's core, I'm pretty sure half of my body is getting a tan just from standing next to you.”
Everyone in the room gasped an just went silent from the words that came out of Sunsets mouth, but they said nothing waiting to see what Twilights reaction would be.
“Whatever fat ass” Twilight whispered barely audible for Sunset to hear but she just barely caught what was said.
“What was that???!” came out of Sunset “Do you wanna throw down woman cause I will end you.”
“Let's go,” Twilight said immediately getting up from the couch and turning to Sunset puffing her chest out to showing intimidation. Failing to do so as Sunset followed her up and with her superior height and chest size made Twilight involuntary flinch. For only a second before getting back in Sunsets face.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiing
“Let's go we’ll be late for class,” Sunset said immediately all hostility vanished from the both of them as they collected their bags and walked out of the music room. The silence inside as everyone left just stared at the door where the two girls had walked out.
“The fuck just happened??????” was all that came out of Rainbows mouth followed by an ‘ow’ as Applejack instinctively kicked Rainbow in the shin.

And that's not even the weird part later during lunch they acted all affectionate as if the argument this morning never happened.

Fluttershy was the second one to arrive at the rainbooms table, excluding the couple, Rarity already being there. But then she noticed Twilight and Sunset were back to being affectionate to each other with Sunset feeding Twilight slices of apple.
Fluttershy sat next to Rarity and spoke to her “How long they been like this?”
“I don’t know I walked in and this is how they were. Where the others at?”
“Pinkie I have no idea, but Rainbow and Aj got into another competition out on the field. “ Fluttershy respond.
“Ah that makes sense” clearing her throat to get the Sunlights attention [ha see what I did there] Rarity spoke “ Um girls don’t you wanna talk about what happened this morning”
Twilight and Sunset just looked at Rarity in utter disbelief “Um what are you talking about” came from Twilight.
“You know the whole argument that happened this morning in the music room.”
“Ooooohhhhhh that yeah don't worry about it,” said Sunset. “Yeah, it happens all the time” came Twilight with the follow-up.
“But shouldn't we resolve this all together as a group” came from Fluttershy this time.
“Yeah just get it all out there so there will be no more problems between the both of you” Rarity had offered.
Sunset and Twilight looked at each other then back at the two girls across from them “No thanks” they both spoke at the same time.
“No thanks?” Rarity said a little higher than she should have
“Well I mean” Twilight started to scratch the back of her head “it's not really a big deal honestly, we were just having a petty argument”.
“What do you mean?” asked Fluttershy.
“Well, we weren't arguing to solve anything we were just arguing to just argue,” Sunset said nonchalantly.
“That makes no sense,” said Rarity.
“Every relationship is like this Rarity, this isn't like those online fanfics where the main couple never argue and when they do it's something massive where everyone's crying and all their friends get involved and it ends in a massive group hug with everyone a changed person in the end.” Sunset explained taking a large breath after she was done.
“You girls almost got into a fist fight” Rarity shot back.
“Oh don't worry we usually only play fight or it leads into something entirely else…..” Sunset ended with a wink in Twilights direction who immediately blushed at the memories forming in her head.
“I can't even right now, Rarity said before getting up “Let's go Fluttershy and leave em to their dirty thoughts”.

So yeah apparently Sunset and Twilight argue all the time and their relationship is still strong I thought arguing means looking for solutions and people changing for the better and that's how relationships get stronger
Well Fluttershy seems like I don't really know anything
