Rainbow Dash answers a fake distress signal that leads her into New Orleans Mental Facility. She's not alone in this and once she finds out who she's messing with, the danger level in this place gets amplified to 1000% real quick.
Rainbow drove down the streets of New Orleans singing along to Panic At The Disco Victorious. Upon arriving to the place known for it's famous Mardi Gras, Rainbow got a strange distress signal that lead to an abandoned mental hospital. Getting out of her corvette, Rainbow looked around and noticed there was a bog near the hospital where canary's along with other local wildlife could be seen.
So this must be where the beacon came from? Dash wiped sweat from her brow then walked up to the front door.
It was full of rust and peeled paint from erosion. Rainbow tried to open the door but noticed it had a pad lock on the rusty handles.
"Damn it" Dash cursed.
That's when an idea sparked (pun intended) in her mind; she used her lightning as a laser to take out the pad lock that made the chains fall thus opening the double doors.
"This place needs some serious remodeling" Dash said walking around the wet puddles that splashed with every step she took.
Unknowing to her, a camera turned to keep a watchful eye on the lightning super heroine who was trying to figure out who sent that distress signal.
A lone girl with red hair with dark purple highlights wearing what looked like old run down drags with buckles on the bottom part of them. A mask that had a hoodie attached had two eye holes and mouth stitched enough so it could be breathable.
She looked at one camera to see Rainbow Dash walking around the compound. "Well well lookie here, one of those 'heroes' decided to show up to My domain; the place I call home...well let's not disappoint her little....visit."
The girl put on the mask then walked over to the ventilation systems and activated it. She flashed a smirk then a small chuckle.
Dash heard a loud rumbling noise then a sort of hiss that sounded like the ventilation system was just turned on and dark orange smoke began to fill the room. She began to cough, went down on both knees covering her nose then getting back up and running out to what was cell block A through G.
Whispers entered Dash's ears but she covered them as the lights went out one by one except one, that was far away. Uncovering her ears, Rainbow walked closely to it; being cautious not knowing what was about to happen.
She saw a chair with Scootaloo in front of it battered and bruised, hands tied behind her back.
Scootaloo...I remember this Rainbow remembered this clearly.
About 2 men came in with fists of cuffs ready to punch Scootaloo right in the face.
"Alright you! You'd better tell us where the hell those jewels are or we'll mess you up so bad that not even your sister will recognize you!" he said threateningly.
Scootaloo looked up. "How many times do I have to tell you! I don't have those stupid jewels and killing me isn't going to help anything!" she shouted.
The tall man punched her hard that knocked her off the chair with blood coming out from between what teeth she had left and ended up on the floor.
"We aint going to ask you again bitch! Tell us where the jewels are or Marlin here will grind you like a piece of meat" he threatened as he grabbed her by the collar.
Scootaloo spat out blood at him then did a flip kick then choked out Marlin until he passed out.
Wow Dash was impressed.
She then walked home to see Rainbow Dash playing video games. Scootaloo got pissed off and turned off the TV.
"Hey what-"
"SHUT UP! I was just beaten up, gagged and groped by a bunch of criminals claiming that I had some FUCKING jewels and I come home to see my so called 'sister' sitting on her ASS playing a STUPID VIDEO GAME INSTEAD OF HELPING ME!" Scootaloo shouted, being fed up with Dash's lazy antics.
Rainbow was pulled back from this outburst and wanted to say something but no words were coming out.
"Rarity helps Sweetie Belle even though she can be a bit annoying and Applejack helps Applebloom despite her having many accidents at home so why aren't you helping me huh?!?" Scootaloo asked sharply.
"Scoot I..." Dash tried to say but Scootaloo stormed across the hall to her room.
The memory faded away as the room returned back to normal.
I constantly ignored Scootaloo when she needed me the most and I let my ego define me...I just hope she can forgive me now Dash hoped for as she stood up with her head held up high.
Meanwhile the masked woman walked down a corridor until she met Kate Taiga who was wearing a tank top and a short skirt and black knee high heeled boots.
"Miss Moondancer you look...odd but in a good way I hope I didn't offend you" Kate said.
"Not at all Taiga to be honest I have found someone in this mental hospital. She has rainbow colored hair, does she look familiar?" Moondancer described, asking if Kate had any idea of what she was talking about.
"Yes I do" Kate responded holding up a photo of Zapp aka Rainbow Dash. "This person is known as Rainbow Dash who is a part of Celestia's band of misfits" Kate showed the picture of her.
"That explains the lightning" Moondancer said.
Kate nodded. "She can use electricity as an advantage in a fight but not against who I have" she continued flashing a half smirk.
"Don't worry Kate my smoke will break her mind so severely that she'll have no choice but to kill herself" Moon promised grinning madly through her mask.
"I leave you to it then" Kate said turning around and walking out to the Mental Hospital in New Orleans.
Moondancer watched her leave then pushed a few buttons on her right arm to activate a toxin capable of breaking someone's mind and Dash was the perfect test subject to try it out on.
Rainbow washed her face inside a public bathroom to shake off the reminder of how much of a failure she was in Scootaloo's eyes. Looking up, she could see Moondancer standing behind her coming closer.
"Come here Rainbow it's time for your daily dose of FEAR!" Moondancer yelled charging at Dash.
Thinking quickly, she tripped Dancer until she ended up in neck first on the sink breaking it. Rainbow grabbed her by the neck and hurled her into the glass knocking her out for the moment. Dash walked out of the bathroom as she continued her search of the source of whoever sent that distress signal for Dash to follow.
Moondancer regained consciousness and noticed that the toxin had been used, seeing that it was half empty which means Rainbow must've accidentally injected it herself when she tripped Moon as she was charging at her.
So my plan worked after all Moondancer got up shaking off excess glass she had on her body and head then walked out to go find Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow could feel odd effects on her body start to take effect from the fear toxin she accidentally injected herself with.
Damn I feel my whole body getting numb Dash thought almost falling to the ground but manages to stand up long enough to get on an elevator so she can ride further down which is where the signal was the strongest.
She pressed the down button; the elevator jerked for a moment then made it's way to a lower level. Once there, doors open to mist covering the floor Dash was standing on. She then walked cautiously through a room until what she saw literally took her breath and engage in a cold sweat.
In one room was two doctors standing over a dead body that was covered with a white sheet. Dash entered the room and removed the sheet; she saw her best friend Twilight Sparkle dead. Rainbow almost fell backwards on the wall trying to process what she just saw and rushed outside just to get away from seeing Twilight with a white sheet over her dead body.
"It's ok Rainbow it's all in your head" Dash told herself.
She could feel her own heart beating very quickly because of the sudden shock that was placed in front of her. She managed to stand up right before walking further down to see all her friends placed in coffins with their names carved on them.
This has to be a nightmare Dash thought holding her head trying to keep her wits about her.
Footsteps could be heard, coming closer and Dash readied herself for whatever potential danger could be coming out. All of a sudden the coffins opened revealing Dash's friends but their clothes were ripped up and faces completely distorted.
"Ya'll left me to die Rainbow Dash!" Applejack said pointing her rotting finger at her.
"And now we return from the grave to make you one of us forever" Fluttershy said next.
Dash didn't want to use her lightning on her friends and Twilight lunged at her but a spinning roundhouse kick stopped her dead in her tracks.
"Who in the...Luna!" Dash announced as she looked up to see Princess Luna standing in front of her.
"Thy Dash would require assistance from the one called Luna" Luna said with a smile.
Rainbow nodded ad her hands started sparking then she shocked Applejack and Rarity causing them to fizzle into nothing but dust.
Odd but whatever works Dash kept doing it, Fluttershy as Luna took down Spike using her long sword.
Once all the zombie versions of the Power People were eliminated, Luna looked over at Dash and saw that her eyes were a bright green color meaning that she is effected with the fear toxin she accidentally injected herself.
"It would seem that Moondancer has implanted her newest injection known as Fear Toxin" Luna said.
"Yea so how long does it last?" Dash asked.
"Depends on how much of that toxin Moondancer has placed on you" Luna replied.
Dash didn't want to tell her about how she accidentally injected it into her own arm causing her own worst fear to come true which is: Death of her friends. Luna saw what looked like worry and doubt spread across Dash's face.
"This fear that all your comrades hinders you from moving forward is it not?" Luna asked with concern.
Dash silently nodded and a tear came down on her face but Luna wiped it away.
"No need to worry, for this is only a nightmare plagued by the one known as Moondancer" Luna said grabbing her long sword before putting it back in her scabbard.
Out of nowhere, the intercom came in with a little feedback but became clear. "Oh Luna you are so persistent in your pursuit of trying to capture me or whatever you decide to do with me. I bid you good luck" Moondancer said before shutting off the intercom.
"At least we know what we must do" Luna said walking up and opening the double doors.
"Yep we have to eliminate Moondancer and end this whole 'Fear Toxin' mess" Dash said transforming into her super heroine form.
As soon as they left the morgue room all of a sudden nightmarish creatures that had police uniforms on being attacking but with the combined might of Princess Luna and Zapp; they were able to dispose of them in the blink of an eye. Both girls fist bumped one another and continued to proceed further so they can fine Moondancer to end this nightmare.
"So just a quick question: How did you find me?" Dash asked.
"I sensed a disturbance among dreams and nightmares so I saw Twilight go up and try to attack you and I wasn't about to let that happen" Luna explained.
Dash felt grateful that Princess Luna was able to sense that she was in danger and offered to help her. They ran into a big room with granite pillars around it which made Dash a little confused but Luna know exactly what Moondancer had in store for them.
"We need to find the exit or we'll be in big trouble" Luna said looking around for a way out.
"What do you think is coming?" Dash asked.
That's when one wall moved to reveal a big creature with a safe for a head wearing an apron and steel toe boots wielding a giant sized meat grinder with sharper spikes on them, making it more dangerous.
"Guess we have no choice but to kill this thing" Dash said sparking her hands.
Luna nodded, bringing out her long sword ready for a fight.
The brute came full force swinging his weapon but Dash slid under it and shocked him so much that he felt to one knee and Luna drove her sword but it didn't connect. The brute swatted her like a fly as Luna landed back first on one pillar breaking through it.
"LUNA!" Dash shouted. "Alright you giant son of a bitch your gonna get it!" Dash's eyes turned white with sparks and her hands turned into balls of electricity.
She blasted 1000 volts of electricity and not stopping until the brute exploded into a million pieces.
"Nobody fucks with Luna and gets away with it!" Dash proclaimed giving the camera her middle finger. "If your listening Moondancer then you can see how I feel about you!"
When Luna came too, all she saw was Dash pointing her middle finger to one of Moon's camera.
"I see that your enjoying thyself" Luna said crossing her arms raising one eyebrow.
Rainbow turned around and chuckled nervously; the exit door they were looking for appeared out of nowhere.
"Looks like we found the way out" Luna said.
Rainbow ran through it along with Luna and they both ended up in a lab of some sort that housed test subjects in water tubes preserved in suspended animation. Looking around, Luna's hands clenched and turned into fists because Moondancer had all these people as her little Guinea Pigs for testing out her upgraded Fear Toxin.
"This is a disgrace to humankind! Moondancer wherever you are come face us like warriors not run and hide as a coward would" Luna said trying to bring out the fear queen.
Moondancer walked into her own lab to meet Zapp and Princess Luna who drew her sword.
"You both think you can honestly defeat me? Don't make me laugh" Moondancer said.
"Oh trust me after we take you down, you'll be laughing through prison bars" Dash proclaimed.
Luna slashed her sword even though Moondancer blocked every attempt but didn't count on Dash coming in the fray and hitting her with a electric push attack that pushed Dancer into 4 walls that landed in the warden's hallway where the warden would walk through. Now it had a huge dent in it thanks to Moondancer.
She struggled to stand but when she did, Luna came out and did palm strikes, body kicks, and punches to stun the self professed fear queen and Dash did a round house kick so hard that Moondancer ended up outside the mental hospital.
Luna stomped on her right hand making it impossible for Moondancer to use the toxin on either Rainbow Dash or Luna just as a way to get an upper hand.
"NO! Your ruining my experiment!" Moondancer shouted as she tried to get up but Dash aggressively kept her down almost twisting her arm.
Police soon arrive and arrested Moondancer so they could place her behind bars. As soon as they left Princess Luna patted Dash on the back.
"Thanks to you Princess but aren't you going to come back to Metropolis with me?" Dash asked.
"No I'm afraid I would have to decline that offer for I have other business to take care of but maybe I'll consider your offer Rainbow" Luna replied walking away.
"Ok" Dash said getting in her car before driving out of New Orleans.
She will go on to do great things Luna had hope for Dash and her friends.
In one squad car Moondancer got out without handcuffs and entered a black Cadillac before it drove away from a murder scene that just took place.
"Thanks for the pickup Kate" Moondancer said feeling grateful about Kate's sudden interference.
"Think nothing of it and don't worry about anyone knowing that your on the run because one of my associates Puppet Master has gladly taken care of it" Kate explained.
"The tall guy wearing a suit and tie that also sports a black top hat?" Moondancer asked, giving a description of what Puppet Master looks like.
Kate nodded.
"So where are we heading?" Moondancer asked looking out the window seeing the city part of New Orleans.
"To my private retreat home in Alaska that is not traceable" Kate replied.
Moondancer smirked and looked down at her mask.
Joining up with Kate and her boss is going to be a game changer Moondancer smirked.
Rainbow drove back to her old apartment in the slums of Metropolis and unlocked the door. She walked around closing the door behind her until she noticed a small note beside a coffee table that had a calligraphy style signature on the front.
Dash opened the envelope and it read:
Dear Rainbow Dash,
I just wanted to apologize for my behavior towards you and maybe I was being selfish. From a state of point it would be better if you would help me once in a while instead of being inside the house and playing video games. Also I got accepted into a college down in Orlando, FL

After reading that Dash's mind went through the motions of how to process what Scootaloo just wrote to her. All those times she thought her own adopted sister hated her guts now wishes Dash could just be there for support and just from this letter alone shows what Rainbow can do for Scootaloo in the long run.
