Act 1 Part 1 
Chapter 1 Prologue
Starlight's New Friends

Previously: Slappy escaped his book and sought revenge for being imprisoned. After losing to Doji and Opal, Slappy set M&M up to be killed by Vladimir. In the end though Doji saved his wife, and almost caught Slappy. Doji was too late to stop Vlad from regenerating as well as M&M though; however did stop Dracula from being resurrected by his son Vlad. Once Vlad was beat Slappy decided it would be best to leave before Doji tried to suck him back into his book, however before he could escape he fell into one of the many rifts caused by Chaos. Now Doji seeks to find Slappy no matter what reality or dimension he is in to stop any future disasters, while Slappy falls into a whole new reality with talking horses? No talking ponies, so now it's time we begin.

As Slappy fell through the colorful void he laughed, yelled and finally decided to save his energy cause in the end he knew he would land on his feet. Meanwhile, at the end of the rift a pony named Starlight Glimmer was reading a book and having flashbacks to when she nearly ruined the future. She could see the apocalyptic world Twilight showed her, a world where nothing existed and everything was dead. After the fifth flashback she wanted to cry, however she managed to hold the tears back.

"I know I was wrong and I deserve to be punished, but I wish I could forget that horrible future." Starlight said as she levitated a tissue over to herself. Starlight finally decided she would check on Twilight's friendship meeting, however as she got up to leave she heard a chilling giggle. Starlight turned around and saw a weird looking ventriloquist dummy, Starlight was a little creeped out by it however she wanted to know where the giggle she had heard had came from. So as she drew closer to the dummy she heard another creepy giggle then the dummy slowly rose.

As the Dummy rose it said "Who you calling dummy? Dummy!" Starlight wanted to scream and she wanted to faint, however instead she sent a shot of magic at the dummy and froze it. 

The dummy continued to talk saying "Is this better?" and then started to laugh.

Starlight got a little closer and asked “What are you?”

The ventriloquist dummy responded without moving its frozen lips "Names Slappy, however you can call me your friend from the other side".

Starlight blinked at Slappy and would have been happy he was her first friend, which Twilight wasn't friends with if he wasn't a scary dummy. After a second longer to compose herself Starlight released Slappy from her magic, and lightning struck outside in complete daylight. When the lights went out she heard his laugh, and when the lights came back on Slappy was behind her with her diary.

As he read it he laughed and said "Quite the villain aren't you? I could tell you needed a friend however now I see you need a cult."

Slappy then proceeded to laugh even harder, Starlight quickly snapped out of her daze and grabbed her book with her magic. Slappy then disappeared and reappeared with the lights again, and was in the castle's huge stained glass window.

Slappy sat down on the ledge and started to speak again "This is a whole new world, and I think I'm going to like it.”

Starlight watched as Slappy looked out onto Ponyville and laughed, she quickly used a spell to signal Twilight however she remembered Twilight was in a meeting with her friends. So instead Starlight used her levitation spell to confront Slappy who was pointing and laughing at ponies below.

When she got to him, Slappy turned his head 180° degrees and said "BOO!!!"

Starlight then lost concentration and fell as the lights went out, when they came back on Slappy was in front of her.

Slappy leaned down bending his wooden legs, and brushed his suit off while asking “Where’s the supply closet?”.

Starlight looked him in his wooden eyes and could see the dark magic that flowed behind them. Slappy went to open his wooden mouth again, when Starlight decided it would be best to keep him busy.

She looked him in the eyes and said “Down the hall a little ways, I'm still learning myself.”

Slappy giggled and then laughed as he left to gather items from the supply closet. As he left Starlight remembered a spell she had just read about, she galloped over to the shelf she had just restocked and pulled a book down. She looked at it and smiled, and as she flipped through the pages she finally found it. The spell could see memory fragments, or pieces of memories that were really strong. Starlight read it over 5 times, and then began to cast it. Slowly her horn glowed and then her eyes flashed white, in that 3 seconds she saw a vampire with his fangs bared. The man yelled out Slappy’s name, and then Starlight saw a colorful void which then ended the memory. As Starlight put the book back she felt an odd feeling of dread creep up her hooves and into her spine.

Starlight then laughed and said “I'm just getting myself all worked up, Twilight will be out soon and everything will work out.” and even as Starlight said it. She didn't believe a single word.

Slappy fell and kept falling, he couldn't feel a thing. When he began to wonder if he would ever escape he saw a bright light below him, and knew his freedom was almost at hand. The white light quickly enveloped Slappy, and then all of a sudden he landed on a pillow. Slappy looked around the room he had just landed in, and as he looked around he saw a Unicorn. Slappy smiled as he went to a chair in the corner of the library room and plopped down. He saw her almost cry and then heard her comment about friends and a terrible future. Slappy’s smile deepened as he saw his way in. Slappy relaxed his dummy body, and giggled his creepy giggle while appearing as a regular ventriloquist dummy. Starlight turned around just as she was about to leave, as she drew closer Slappy knew it was time.

So he slowly rose up and said "Who you calling dummy? Dummy!”.

Then all of a sudden he's frozen by unicorn magic, as he sits there the gears begin turning and a plan to rule this new kingdom starts in his mind. When she finally composed herself she released him, Slappy decided to disappear and reappear around. He appeared by her diary and read a few pages to understand her more, and as he learned her past he saw a piece of gold. He then went up to the windows above and saw the land and knew he could take over, however first he needed the materials for his devices. Starlight then appeared from behind, and Slappy turned his head around to surprise her. When she fell down Slappy took his chance to ask his question, while she was disoriented.

Slappy appeared in front of her, and thought how dirty he must have looked. So he brushed his suit off and asked “Where’s the supply closet?”

Starlight finally said after awhile that it was down the hall and that she was still learning, so Slappy left her to find the supply closet and get all the parts for his future devices. While believing how dumb Starlight was, and how easy it was going to be to win.


Doji looked at the computer screen, and then back at Opal saying "Are you sure Slappy's there?”

Opal typed a few keys and looked again, then nodded to Doji. Doji picked up his watch and looked at M&M, and thought about how even though she had a new face her memories and feelings were the same.

M&M spoke in a whisper that snapped Doji out of his thoughts “We just got back, and now you're going off again to catch that psycho dummy.”

Doji stood and thought about what she said, then smiled and said “M&M if I don't go with Slappy’s book, then no telling what damage he could do. I love you and I want us to spend time together, however right now I have to save that other dimension.”

M&M leaned forward and kissed Doji, then said “Hurry back, I don't want to regenerate again before you get back.”

Doji smiled and chuckled while thinking “That Time Lord energy has helped a lot, however soon the regenerations will be gone and you’ll be vulnerable.” Doji looked back at the computer and then said “Alright I need to go, I'll see you both when I get back.”

Doji grabbed Slappy’s book, and put it in his purple overcoat. M&M kissed him, while Opal gave him a copy of Slappy’s book. With everything packed Doji waved goodbye and jumped into the rift that they had set up base by, as Doji began to travel through the rift time fluctuated. Doji then watched as his watch went forward 3 days, and he knew he would get their 3 days late. As he neared the end of the rift Doji hoped the dummy hadn't caused too much trouble. Then he fell through, while holding a black book tightly. As Doji looked up he saw a unicorn and baby dragon, he then proceeded to faint.

Chapter 2
The Alicorn Meeting

Twilight looked at a document on the friendship map then turned to Applejack, and Fluttershy when she spoke. “It appears we need the castle decorated. So I was wondering if Applejack could handle the buffet, while Fluttershy and Rarity could work on the inside.” Pinkie started to fidget in her seat while Rainbow grumbled something about color.

Twilight looked back at the paper, smiled and said “Pinkie I'm going to need 100 cupcakes and Rainbow I need you to get ready for a sonic rainboom.”

Rainbow pumped her hoof in the air and said “Now that's more like it, this party wouldn't be awesome without me.”

Pinkie exploded with joy and started to hop up and down, she then stopped and saluted while saying “These will be the bestest cupcakes I have ever made, wait I'm going to need more sugar.”

As Pinkie Pie started to slip into crazy mode Rarity coughed and said “Darling I will use only the best material, oh and the dresses will be fabulous.”

Rarity pulled out a notebook in her magic and begin writing down ideas, while Apple Jack tipped her Stetson and said “Well ya’ll best be getting ready, cause I ’ma gonna knock your hooves off with my new apple cider mix.”

Fluttershy pointed her head down and in a quiet voice said “I’ll do whatever I can to help.”

As Twilight looked at her friends she couldn't help but smile. Twilight cleared her throat and said “Okay I'll see you all tomorrow, so meeting dismissed.” As everypony walked off Spike walked up, and noticed a note glowing under the document. Spike pointed to it, and Twilight grabbed it in her magic.

“Spike this is Starlight's emergency flash spell, something must be wrong.” As Twilight galloped out of the room Spike pulled a picture of Rarity out, and stared at it with puppy dog eyes. Meanwhile Twilight galloped to the library, and as she galloped by the supply closet she heard a giggle.

Starlight looked at the library door, and saw Twilight burst in saying “Are you okay? What's wrong? Are you okay?” Starlight chuckled and met Twilight's eyes.

“I'm okay Twi, my emergency is not so much about me but a creature.” As Starlight spoke Twilight visibly relaxed some, and continued to listen. “I was about to check on your meeting when I heard a giggle, and found a strange looking ventriloquist dummy.” Twilight thought back to the closet, and wondered if Starlight was losing it. “So after he appeared and disappeared, and started laughing and giggling I told him where the supply closet was.” Twilight meanwhile thought Starlight was bonkers, talking about disappearing and reappearing ventriloquist dummies.

After Twilight had waited a moment she spoke “Okay listen, I know you still feel bad about the cutie mark town and the barren waste land future. I know you're stressed, so I'm not going to do a friendship lesson today. Instead go rest, and collect your thoughts.” Starlight stared into Twilight's eyes and knew she didn't believe her, and after thinking it over she began to think that maybe it was just a hallucination.

Starlight smiled and said “Okay I'll go lay down, however would you check the supply closet for me?” Twilight’s smile slipped some however it still continued to show a happy warmth.

“Sure Starlight, I'll check it to put your mind at ease.” Twilight said. Once Starlight had left Twilight headed to the supply closet, and noticed some things were missing. She quickly dismissed the thought of a living dummy, and believed Spike had taken some of the stuff.

“I didn't touch anything Twilight.” Spike said. Twilight looked at her pudgy purple and green baby dragon, and smiled thinking he just wanted to surprise her. “Starlight said there was a living doll walking around giggling? Here I thought I was paranoid.” Spike said. As Spike left to go check on Starlight Twilight received a letter from Celestia, Spike nearly choked on it however he was still able to deliver it to Twilight.

“Spike the other princesses want to see me, there's apparently a magic surge that was caused by some type of portal. I'm needed there to discuss the matter at once, please send a letter telling Celestia that I will arrive shortly.” Spike nodded and began writing, once he was done he sent the letter through dragon breath. Meanwhile Twilight packed her saddle back and left the room to get an extra note pad, once she was gone the lighting flashed and Slappy pulled a remote from his suit.

“The unicorn that became an alicorn, now that’s some magic.” Slappy turned his head at the sound of hoof steps, and quickly placed his remote into Twilight's saddle bag. By the time Twilight got back with her extra note pad Slappy was gone, however his remote based on simply energy transfer stayed in the saddle bag. When Twilight got to the chariot that had brought her to Ponyville so long ago she smiled, and as she got in she remembered her battle against Nightmare Moon. The trip to Canterlot was short, however once she arrived she got out and headed to the throne room. Meanwhile as the chariot was unhooked a dummy fell out from underneath, and as the guard ponies drew closer. A giggle rang out, and then two screams.

When Twilight finally arrived in the throne room Princess Celestia, Luna and Cadence were waiting. Once she was seated Celestia began to speak however was caught off guard by a creepy laugh, all three princess looked around however found nopony. Then there was a flash of lightning and the lights went out, when they came back on there was a dummy on the table and it looked as if it had been thrown and landed on the table  

Luna cried out "THIS IS NOT AMUSING, WHO HAS THROWN THIS ODD DUMMY ON OUR TABLE".

The dummy then rose up slowly and said "Who you calling dummy, dummy Bahahahaha", Luna was caught off guard and while Celestia and Cadence looked in wonderment Twilight remembered what Starlight had said.   

Twilight stood up and spoke "So Starlight was right, there is a dummy in Equestria and you do give off a creepy vibe."

The dummy known as Slappy giggled and said "So your Twilight, well it will be a pleasure stealing your powers." Slappy moved his hands around the table "All of your powers actually, Bahahahaha". Celestia and Luna took up a defensive stance and Cadence too, they then aimed their horns at Slappy while he laughed at them in his chilling laugh. Slappy then jumped down onto his two legs and pulled a remote from Twilight's saddle bag on the floor,  before the alicorns could do anything they were hit and too weak to stand. Slappy then turned around towards Twilight, meanwhile Twilight’s horn flared and a protective bubble popped up. Slappy looked at the bubble and laughed "This'll be fun". 

Starlight was looking over some of the books on the shelves when she felt a ripple over Spikes pillow, she then saw a piece of Slappy’s suit. “I knew that dummy was real.” Starlight said as the realization that he was dangerous and missing dawned on her, she also realized that Slappy had to have come through the rift. Meanwhile in Canterlot Spike the purple baby dragon was heading to the throne room looking for Twilight who let him sleep in their guest room, while at the same time Slappy stole 3 Alicorn princesses magic and only needed Twilight's to complete his set.

Twilight put up a shield and quickly ran through her options, she couldn't leave the other princesses and couldn't even touch Slappy with that remote in his possession. Before she could finish her train of thought though the doors opened. Spike saw his friend, his sister, his mother figure in a bubble while the other princesses were unconscious while a dummy stood on the table pointing a remote at him. Before Spike could even process what was happening Slappy laughed and fired a blue beam of magic from the remote and watched as it went toward Spike, however before it made contact Spike was teleported into Twilight's bubble. Also at the same time the princesses awoke from their unconsciousness and saw Twilight struggling, and through pained breaths told Twilight to leave and get the other elements so they could put a stop to Slappy. Slappy laughed and then saw the fire in their eyes, he stopped and realized that he hadn't read about any elemental power.

Slappy realizing he needed to end this quickly, fired at Twilight's shield however by the time it broke Twilight and Spike were outside the castle entirely. Slappy laughed and clicked his remote to tie the Alicorns up, and make them into puppets. Ropes fell from the sky, and quickly wrapped around their hooves and back. When he was finished he sat in a thrown, and asked what The Elements of Harmony were. Once Celestia had finished telling Slappy he realized his mistake, and began planning for his comeback. Slappy knew that he needed to deal with the elements, however which way was going to be the fun part. As Slappy began to imagine all of the wonderfully insane ways to destroy the elements a weird creature made up of different animal parts appeared, and when he saw Slappy he proceeded to laugh. The creature continued to laugh until his head rose off his body, and popped into confetti. As Slappy watched the creature laugh, he thought one word.

“What?”

The Alicorn Beating

Slappy watched as the weird creature laughed its head off, literally its head floated up from its shoulders and then popped raining confetti. The Creature then pulled a plastic balloon out of the air and blew it up, and quickly shaped it into a complete replica of its head. The creature then placed the head shaped balloon on its shoulders and continued to laugh, while reaching up and pulling a zipper down the middle of its head. When it finished removing the plastic skin, it  revealed a new head just like the old one where the balloon was.

The creature then bowed, while an invisible crowd cheered and cried out "DISCORD WE LOVE YOU". The creature bowed one last time before it poofed away and appeared wrapped around Slappy, the creature was much smaller and said "Hello Dummy, it isn't often I get to say that." As  Slappy stared at the creature it continued “Names Discord, King of Chaos.” Slappy stared at the being called Discord, then started to laugh. The laugh was so creepy it gave the spirit of chaos Discord a shiver, or maybe it was the ice flowing into the floating bathtub he was currently using for some reason.

When Slappy quit he looked at Discord and said "In a land of ponies, I never dreamed I'd meet Discord's dimensional double, of course you're way more fun it seems."

Discord made the bathtub disappear with a snap and snapped his fingers making cuffs appear on Slappy's wooden hands, he then snatched the remote and looked it over. After Discord was done he said "Okay fun time is over, I have wonderful madness to create in my imagination land. So let's get this over with. bye bye dummy." though before Discord could wave Slappy bye, lightning struck and the lights went out When they came back on Slappy was out of his cuffs, and had the remote back and was pointing it at Discord.

Slappy smiled and said “You're my puppet now.” and as Slappy laughed Discord blinked twice, and his chaotic magic was drained. Once it was done Slappy laughed, and then used his remote to make strings appear and wrap around Discord, first the arms and legs then head and torso. Once Slappy was finished he had 4 puppets, and was ready for his 5th puppet.

Meanwhile Twilight and Spike flew to Sweet Apple Acres, with the rest of their friends coming as soon as they got her message. By the time everypony got there Twilight was a nervous wreck, Applejack slowly approached her and said “Sugar cube what wrong?”

Twilight took a moment to compose herself and said “The princesses are puppets, their magic is gone and a psychotic dummy is after Equestria.” Rainbow Dash and Rarity exchanged glances while Pinkie Pie started to laugh. Fluttershy went behind Applejack, while Applejack took a moment to think.

“Okay Twilight, you got us very funny.” Applejack laughed out awkwardly. When Twilight didn't laugh back Applejack stopped and looked to everypony else.

Rarity coughed and said “Okay darling if what you're saying is true, then how did this dummy steal the princess’s powers?”

Twilight sighed and said “It’s a remote he built, out of parts from my supply closet and apparently lab. It appears to work like an energy transfer machine, because magic down to its basic form is energy. So my theory is that Slappy, that's his name. Slappy stole parts and then created the device to steal magic, though there was a piece when I checked the closet that wasn't there and I know it wasn't used for his remote.”

Fluttershy squeaked out “So now we have to face Slappy, who has the powers of the princesses.” after she had finished she tried to hide her face behind her mane, then slowly looked at everyone.

Pinkie jumped up and down saying “This'll be so awesome, this'll be just like when we fought Tirek.”

Rainbow Dash cut in saying “Except he doesn't have the magic, his device does.”

Applejack nodded and said “Ya’ll are right, but it’ll still be harder than building a snowman in the middle of summer.”

Twilight chuckled and said “However together we can do this, we just need to call upon the elements we represent to win this.”

Rainbow flew into the air and punched the sky saying “Then we'll hit 'em with the rainbow and turn him to stone or something cool like that.”

Pinkie then screamed out “Or maybe it'll turn him into cotton candy.” with her mouth watering she repeated “Cotton Candy.”  everypony then chuckled.

Twilight looked at her friends and said “Okay then let's do this, however first we need to stop by my castle. That's where this all began, and so I believe that's where it will end as well.” Everypony agreed and as the Mane 6 galloped to Twilight's Castle Slappy arrived and opened the door.

Slappy walked through the castle and after 5 minutes he found Starlight performing tests on the rift. Slappy laughed which got Starlight’s attention, she stared at the dummy and said. “You’re your real.”

Slappy laughed again and said “Of course I am Starlight, imaginary friends can sometimes become a reality. I'm afraid I have terrible news though Starlight.” Starlight watched the dummy and noticed a smile creep onto its face, when it spoke again the smile was gone. “I'm afraid Nightmare Moon has returned, and she has imprisoned Celestia, and stolen Twilight and Cadences magic. There was nothing I could do, one second Luna was fine and talking the next she morphed into Nightmare Moon and started getting rid of the competition.” Once Slappy was finished he looked up and saw Starlight galloping away, and knew she had bought his story and was heading to Canterlot to save her teacher and friend.

Once Starlight was gone Slappy pulled out the remote, and with a few presses of a button or two made his puppets appear. Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Discord looked at him with hatred, however they were unable to move. Slappy spoke in a calm even voice “Move over to those cutie map seats, I have to prepare for The Elements arrival.” After Slappy finished he laughed and disappeared, while the strings from above moved the princesses and Discord to chairs and sat them down.

Slappy moved from one room to another quickly placing a bomb here, and a poison needle there. Pulling all these things out of his suit, in a comical way it was almost cartoonish. Once Slappy had used his remote to replace a few floors with mercury, and a few other floors with spinning floors he magically placed cameras everywhere. Slappy then flashed back to the cutie room, and made a TV appear then made several others appear through the castle. Once everything was placed he sat in Twilight's chair and looked at his company, he laughed and then spoke.

“It's a real pleasure having the spirit of disharmony and chaos here, as well as the royal idiots.” Slappy chuckled after saying idiots, Luna tried to move however was only able to move her hoof an inch in an attempt to hoof slap Slappy. Slappy noticed the movement and smiled saying “Well if it isn't Moon Butt trying to move, tell me how that stiff upper lip is.” Slappy busted out laughing falling onto the floor while smoke poured out of Luna’s eyes, once Slappy had finished laughing he looked up and saw Twilight on the TV screen. He quickly sat down and straightened his suit, after that he grabbed a stick out of his suit and connected it to his remote. The stick had a metal plug-in at the bottom while the top had a green bulb, as the stick absorbed the 4 powers inside the remote Slappy laughed.

Twilight stared at the sign on the door, it said “Come on Twilight Sprinkles, it's time for the main event.” Twilight turned to her friends and one by one they nodded. Twilight then used her magic to open the door, and once they stepped inside chaos erupted. Twilight was the first to enter followed by Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. Once everypony was inside Slappy activated a button on another remote and locked the castle doors, everypony gasped and then began to notice the room was moving around like a Merry-go-round. Everypony started falling on their flanks as the floor gained spinning speed, well all except for Pinkie who spun around and looked at the sky saying thank you to whoever was listening in another reality.

Twilight quickly said “We need to think of something fast, or we'll never escape the entrance.” After Twilight said that cannons started popping through the walls, and was about to fire when Pinkie hopped up and started jumping on her two hind legs. She quickly jumped on her two front legs two times then popped back up and hopped onto her cannon which appeared out of thin air, and as the cannons began to reach their blow point Pinkie tugged her party cannon over and over again. Each ball of confetti went straight into a cannon and exploded the cannon in a explosion of confetti, once the final cannon exploded the floor quit spinning thanks to a piece of cannon getting lodged into the side of the floor and wall.

Every other pony slowly got up, and stared at Pinkie who smiled sheepishly. “What I like parties, and confetti. Also cake, and balloons.” Pinkie said.

Applejack placed her Stetson on her head again after losing it in the spinning, and said “Shoot that was plum amazing, you defied gravity and physics once again Pinkie. I'll never understand how you can do things like that but I think it's better that way.”

Rarity smiled and said “That darling was amazing, you go girl.” Once everypony had congratulated Pinkie a laugh erupted behind them, they turned to see a screen hanging from the ceiling.

“You're a special pony Pinkie, and I look forward to breaking you hahahaha.” Slappy then looked over at Twilight and said “We can end this right now and your friends don't have to get hurt, just surrender your magic to me and I'll let them leave.”

Twilight looked to her friends them back at Slappy, and said “No I don't believe you. I and my friends hold the magic of friendship and together we'll bring an end to you.” Slappy stared at Twilight and laughed.

“Okay then, I gave you a chance. Now you'll have to defeat my puppets, and boy are they killer hahahaha.” Slappy said.
Then all the Mane 6 watched in horror as the princesses and Discord came out of the shadows, with string tied all around them.

Twilight could see the fear in the princess's eyes as well as Discord, however knew that even though they were conscious they're bodies belonged to that deranged dummy. Slappy pressed a button and the screen moved behind his puppets, while The Mane 6 watched him laugh.

Slappy then said "Look who's the dummies now hahaha. They really need to loosen up bahahahaha."

Twilight stepped forward and yelled "Stop this Slappy, this is madness you've even turned madness into a puppet" at that a tear rolled down Discord's face.

Slappy hopped down from his seat and stared at the screen, he then said "Well if it isn't the element of magic, what are you going to do you spoiled brat".

Twilight held back tears and said “I'm not spoiled. Yes Celestia took me on as her personal student, however I never bragged I never boasted. I did my work and now I'm an Alicorn, I worked hard for this and fought many foes from Nightmare Moon to Sombra. I even fought Queen Chrysalis and Discord, even my student was a foe we fought and defeated. Tirek was defeated at our hooves and now you'll join them, because we represent the Elements of Harmony and we protect this land with the magic of friendship.” Slappy looked at Twilight and yawned, then he pressed a button. Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Discord then flew at Twilight and her friends in that instant before anyone could react Twilight shot off 20 arrows made of magic. The arrows quickly cut through each piece of rope, and dropped the princesses and Discord on the floor. Slappy’s eyes widened with the realization that Twilight freed his puppets, and in that instant Slappy saw his stick blinking and unplugged it placing it in his suit.

“Slappy looked at The Mane 6, The Elements of Harmony Bearers, the protectors of Equestria and said “Catch me if you can Hahahahahahaha.” The screen then went black as speakers all around the castle started to repeat Slappy’s laugh. Twilight looked at the screen then rushed over to her friends and saw Discord looking into Fluttershy's eyes, then passing out along with the other 3 princesses. Twilight looked at her teacher, her teacher’s sister, her sister-in-law, and her chaotic friend and then looked at her friends.

“It's about time we bring this dummy down, so who's with me.” Everypony said me and Twilight then smiled and began walking to the next room. Once they saw no surprises they walking in only to have a bomb shoot out of the wall, twilight quickly brought up a shield and then put the bomb in a bubble. When the bubble broke Twilight fell from the physical strain, when Applejack helped her up she looked at her friends again and knew they could best him. Twilight quickly started weaving a spell with her horn, and let it out creating an arrow and they all followed it being careful not to fall for another trap. While Slappy watched them from his main screen and laughed at them almost being blown up.

“This is only the beginning Miss Sprinkles, and when I'm through you'll all be laughing to death Hahahahahahahahaha.”

Twilight's Friends Trap

As Twilight and her friends ran after the arrow they saw more screens with Slappy on them, and each time they passed by one Twilight glared at the laughing dummy. Once they got to the kitchen needles popped out of the walls and almost got them, if not for Twilight’s quick thinking and a shield they would have been lifeless now. Once Rarity regained her composer from a brief explosion, and Applejack pulled a stray needle from her Stetson they continued on, when they got to the library Spike noticed an odd smell and saw liquid metal on the floor. Once Twilight got done checking it with a spell she nodded.

“It's mercury, be careful it seeps through the skin and kills you from the inside.” everypony took a big gulp and watched as Twilight pulled the door off its hinges with her magic and made a boat. Once everypony was on Twilight said “Okay now that we're on, we need to get to the other side.” As the makeshift boat floated over the mercury Slappy’s smile slipped, and when they made it out Slappy was ready to vomit, if he could that is.

“Those insufferable ponies can't take a hint, well no matter Twilight will bring with her the key to my victory and the end of Equestria.” Slappy said. Once Slappy was done he started to laugh and decided he would pay his old puppets a visit, so with a giggle Slappy disappeared from Twilight's throne and appeared in front of a weak and fragile Celestia. Celestia looked up weakly and snorted, too which Slappy laughed and said “My my my how the once sophisticated royal has fallen, not even a word just a snort.” Slappy smiled madly and decided he would tell Celestia and company a story.

Celestia through a pained breath said “Why are you doing this Slappy?”

Slappy caught off guard quickly replied “Because it's fun, because I want slaves, because I want revenge.”

“Revenge for what?” Celestia choked.

Slappy’s face contorted into a frown as he said “Revenge for being locked away. You see an old man not wanting to die infused his very soul into a puppet, but instead of being himself he created a whole new mind. I didn't know it yet at the time I was made, however my pitiful life would change forever and change forever it did.”

Celestia coughed out “So that's the dark magic I sensed.”

Slappy then proceeded to laugh and said “You ponies are so gullible. My true origin is a man wrote a story, my story on pieces of paper in a book. That idiot didn't realize it yet, however that would be his greatest mistake. You see one fateful day he opened my book, and the words started running off the pages as ink and started to bunch up and formed me. Once it was done I was real, and together we terrorized the people that bullied him and had fun however he soon grew a conscience and tried to get rid of me. The bonfire was a nice touch though; however my wooden body was reduced to ink instead of ash and then reformed into me. R.L. Stine seeing I was indestructible then realized that maybe my book could stop me so he tried to fool me, however I was a clever dummy and saw his ruse. So when he returned to his office I was waiting, and planned to become a one man show. In hindsight I should have known Stine would have a backup plan, so before I could poison him he opened my book. Slowly my wooden body turned into ink, and was absorbed by the book. When only my head remained something broke in me, I then laughed until the book was slammed shut. I spent several years trapped until one fateful day, the day my book’s lock was broke the day I unleashed Stine’s greatest monsters. In the end however all the monsters including me were beaten by a child, it wasn't until I ended up in Doji’s Universe that I truly began my quest for world domination, however at every turn Opal or Doji would stop me or defeat me and trap me in my book or a new one, however I would always brake out of the accursed books, and now I'm here. He’s there and my book’s over there with them.”

Celestia’s eyes slowly started to close; however she managed to strain enough to say one last word “Book?” before she fell into unconsciousness.  

Slappy smiled and flashed back into the cutie map room, just as Twilight Sparkle busted inside with her friends and said “Games over Slappy.”

Slappy smiled and said “All magic comes with a price, and I'm the price today.” Slappy then proceeded to laugh while Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity got in position. Slappy opened his eyes to see a lightning bolt shaped energy ring pass by, Slappy then looked forward to see The Elements of Harmony going to work.

As the ponies rose up from the ground Twilight spoke “You have caused a lot of chaos and to stop you from hurting anyone else and to protect our land, we must use The Elements of Harmony that reside in us to beat you.”

Slappy rose up from his seat laughing and said “The Elements of Harmony have never met a being like me, so your silly powers inside yourselves are of no use.” Before Slappy could continue to speak Twilight's eye's glowed white, and a rainbow flew from the middle of their circle. It then went straight towards Slappy’s wooden feet and slowly curled around him; once Slappy was covered a flash went throughout the castle. Twilight looked up and saw her friends slowly rising from the ground, and as she got up she saw the remote. Twilight carefully got to it and picked it up, and then she felt a tug under her hoof. Twilight carefully raised her hoof and saw a black substance continue its path to where the scorch marks were, everypony watched with fear and amazement as the black liquid started to form a creature.

Slowly the feet were made, and then the legs all the while more liquid climbed up the forming limbs. Next the torso was made along with the arms and wooden hands, everypony fell silent as the last bit of liquid formed the head of the small dummy. Twilight carefully backed up to her friends, and they all screamed when Slappy’s eyes flew open. Slappy looked down at his body, and then at them and smiled.

“So what were the elements supposed to do? Trap me or maybe reform me, oh wait how about destroy me if every other option was a failure.” Slappy said. Twilight then looked down at the remote in her hoof and smashed it, Slappy then watched as the magic left the remote, and went to its proper hosts.

“We may not have dealt with you fully yet, however now you're powerless.” Twilight stated. The other girls giggled at her, while Slappy reached under a table and pushed a button. Before anypony could do anything the floor fell along with Spike, Pinkie, Rarity and Applejack. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Twilight quickly flew into the air, Rainbow then made a dive for their friends however was quickly hit by a falling bag of sand. Fluttershy and Twilight dodged bag after bag, while their friends fell into the dungeons Slappy had prepared. Finally Fluttershy was hit and cried out as she fell into the darkness below, Slappy seeing only Miss Sprinkles left hit another button closing the floor and top hatches.

Slappy laughed and gestured to Twilight's throne; Twilight scanned it with a quick spell and sat down while Slappy sat in the chair across the table from her. Twilight watched the dummy’s eyes and waited for him to speak, and knew that right now Slappy was the one holding the cards. Twilight then decided that she would speak first to ask about her friends, but was caught off guard by a vision. She saw the Canterlot throne room and saw Slappy sitting on a throne made of books, she saw a creature like Slappy only taller and made of flesh talking to him. Twilight slowly began to hear a voice, and realized it was the man's voice. The man bared his vampire fangs and pulled out a book, Twilight read the name inside her mind “The Night of The Living Dummy”.

The man then said “This book is the key to defeating you, and all the chaos you have caused will now be undone.” the book was opened and then the vision ended. Twilight raised her head off the table and saw Slappy looking at her with anger.

“Fall asleep while I'm talking, how rude. I would think the princess would listen since her friends lives are on the line.” Slappy then smiled and pulled a stick out from under the table, Slappy as if reading her mind said “Not a stick dear Sprinkles, it's a wand infused with both science and magic.”

Twilight quickly said “Why a wand?”

Slappy’s smile deepened as he said “Remember Starlight's old village, and her spell?”

Twilight’s eyes widened with realization as she said “The Staff of Sameness”.

Slappy clapped his wooden hands, and said “The spell Starlight made to make that useless stick work was in her diary, and was the second thing I got to read before she snatched it from me.”

Twilight spoke in a calm voice “Slappy you can’t remove our cutie marks, they’re what make us special. They’re what give us strength; they’re what make us who we are.”

Slappy laughed and said “Exactly Sprinkles, so just imagine if I removed all of the ponies in Equestria’s cutie marks. All of Equestria would be bland and weak, and I would be able to take control of everything.”

Twilight seeing her last chance said “Even if you take them, Equestria could still fight back.”

Slappy giggled and said “I've already thought of that Sprinkles, remember how when your cutie mark was taken it was replaced with an equal sign?”

Twilight nodded and said “Yes, Starlight’s spell took the cutie mark and replaced it with an equal sign.”

Slappy interrupted her and said “All I had to do was use my brilliant mind, and I was able to configure it to bestow a different cutie mark.” Slappy raised his wooden arm, and used his other hand to pull his suits sleeve down.

Twilight gasped and said “That mark looks like a cutie mark.”

Slappy giggled and said “Yes it does, however it looks more like my head.” Twilight stared at the head of Slappy on his wrist, its design as well as size and color looked just like a cutie mark. Only its design was a cartoon version of Slappy’s head, with a creepy smile.

Twilight blinked three times then connected the dots, she looked him straight in the eyes and said “The reason I'm here, is because I'm supposed to be your test subject.”

Slappy laughed and said “You're very bright Sprinkles, although you're still slow with figuring my plans out. So anyway let’s see how this works.” Slappy took aim and threw the wand backwards and forwards shooting a beam of green light out of the bulb and straight for Twilight.

Twilight quickly jumped out of the way and said “Okay so you have the cutie mark you’re going to give ponies, however that doesn't explain how you’re supposed to control them unless.” Twilight face hoofed, as she realized Slappy’s plans. “The mark you have is set to where it can control the other marks, and your wand is set to perform the cutie unmarking. However I don't understand one thing.”

Slappy watched as Twilight dodged every strike, and finally answered “The original cutie mark is erased, or covered up. I really only had time to create my devices, and they still needed power after that. Especially my wand here and you should be happy I'm letting you be the first of a new species. I'm going to call them Puppet Ponies, see my mark will cause ponies to be wrapped in ropes and be my complete puppets hence Puppet Ponies. I only have to activate it, however first I have to hit them so stand still.”

Twilight dodged another strike, and put up a shield for a second so she could catch a breath. “So that piece I was missing was with you, and I will admit you are a worthy mind however I won’t allow you to hurt my friends or Equestria.” Twilight made a smaller shield and charged at Slappy, Slappy seeing his moment turned a dial on his wand and shot at Twilight's hooves. Twilight wasn't quick enough and slipped on the ice, and collided with the double doors of the cutie map room.

Slappy giggled at Twilight and said "When I'm through with you your magic will be mine and everything else that makes you Twilight Sparkle Hahahahahahaha".

Twilight thought “He remembered my name.” and then flinched as a bolt of green energy went straight for her. However before she could be hit the doors opened pushing her away, and making the bolt hit the doors instead. Twilight and Slappy looked on as Celestia, Luna and Discord entered the room.

Discord then turned to Twilight and said “Sorry it took so long, I wanted popcorn for this and my chaotic magic is still weak.”

Luna turned to Celestia and said “It's time we finish what the dummy started.”

Slappy yelled “Who you calling dummy! Dummy!”

Celestia stepped forward and said “Your crimes against this land will not go unpunished, now will you go peacefully or will we have to do it by force.”

Slappy smiled and then straightened his suit while saying “This'll be fun.”

Okay this is just a little break, I'll start by saying once I get though talking I'll post the original short chapters 1-4. So first off I have seen so many foul language stories, and let me say some are good and some are just too much. I believe you can write a deadly, insane story with wonderful madness without cussing. Of course that's just my opinion, and again some stories with cussing are good and have a nice balance however my story will not have cussing. Now onto the dark tag that was a safety measure, because it has Slappy taking over, and ponies being taken control of, and used as puppets. Also another thing is Slappy is based off the version in the Goosebumps Movie, of course in my world he has been a pain in Doji's side for awhile. Also the final thing I have to say before the uncut versions are seen, this story like any story could go a million ways. As an incomplete story reaches its ending, so does the possibilities however this was my tale from my mind. So anyway thanks for reading and enjoy Chapter 4.5 Ch 1-4 Uncut. Chapter 1_Prologue/Starlight's Evil Friend

Previously Slappy escaped his book and seeked revenge, after setting M&M up to be killed by Vlad Slappy thought he had beaten Doji but in the end he was wrong. Doji swooped in and saved M&M and stopped Dracula’s resurrected as well, M&M regenerated and so did Vlad. Meanwhile before Slappy could escape he fell into a rift, now Doji seeks to find Slappy to stop any future disasters while Slappy falls into a whole new reality with talking horses? No ponies. So let's begin...
As Slappy fell through the colorful void he laughed and yelled and finally decided to save his energy, because everything had a beginning and an end. Meanwhile at the end of the rift a pony named Starlight Glimmer was reading a book and having flashbacks to her nearly ruining the future. After the fifth flash back she wanted to cry, "I know I was wrong, and I deserve to be punished but I feel like I'm losing my mind". As she got up to leave she heard a chilling laugh, and turned to see a ventriloquist dummy. Starlight was a little creeped out by it, but wanted to know where the laugh came from. As she drew closer the dummy slowly rose, and said "Who you calling dummy, dummy". Starlight wanted to scream, she wanted to faint, but instead she sent a shot of magic at the dummy and froze it. The dummy continued to talk saying "Is this better bahahahaha", Starlight got closer and asked it what it was. The ventriloquist dummy said without moving his frozen lips "Names Slappy, but you can call me your friend from the other side", Starlight blinked and would have been happy he was her first friend if he wasn't a scary dummy. Starlight released Slappy and lighting struck in daylight, and the lights when out. When the lights came back on Slappy was behind her with her diary, as he read it he laughed and said "Quite the villain aren't you, I could tell you needed a friend but now I see you need a cult." Slappy then proceeded to laugh; Starlight snapped out of her daze and grabbed her book. Slappy then disappeared and reappeared with the lights, and was in the castle's huge window. Slappy sat down and started to speak again "This is a whole new world, and I think I'm going to like it", Starlight used a spell to signal Twilight to tell her but Twilight was in a meeting with her friends. So Starlight used her flying technique to confront Slappy who was pointing and laughing, when she got to him he turned his head 180 degrees and said "BOO" Starlight fell and the lights went out. When they came back on Slappy was in front of her and wanted to know where the supply room was, Starlight decided if it would keep him busy she should do it. So as Slappy left to gather his items, Starlight cast a spell to see memory fragments and say a man named Doji.
Slappy fell and fell and couldn't feel a thing, then he say a bright light below him and knew his time was up. Slappy landed on a pillow and saw the room, as he looked around he saw a Unicorn and knew he could pull his old tricks. So he went to a chair plopped down, and saw her cry and comment about friends. Slappy saw his way in, and laughed his creepy laugh while appearing unliving. As she drew closer Slappy knew it was time, so he slowly raised up and said "Who you calling Dummy, dummy." The next thing he knows he's frozen by unicorn magic, and then the gears begin turning a plan to rule this new kingdom over in his mind. When she released him, Slappy went around, learned her past saw the land and knew he needed the materials for his device. So he asked StarPlight where tools were, and left to get them all the while believing how dumb StarPlight was.
Doji looked at the screen and back to Opal, and said "are you sure Slappy's there"? Opal looked again and nodded, Doji got his watch and left saying goodbye to M&M and Opal. As Doji reached Slappy's entree point time fluctuated, and knew he'd get their 3 days late but hoped the dummy couldn't cause too much trouble. He jumped through, and held a black book tightly. Chapter 2_The Alicorn Meeting Part 1

Twilight dismissed the meeting and went to tell Starlight she was heading to Canterlot, but as she went by the supply closet she got a terrible shiver. Twilight decided for once she wouldn't investigate, so when she got to Starlight she was caught off guard. Starlight was talking madness about a talking dummy, and a chilling laugh. Twilight told her to calm down and that she had to leave but would return to continue their lesson, so as Twilight left the room Slappy appeared and put his little device in Twilight's saddle bag. Starlight watched as Twilight left, and got the strangest feeling things would go wrong.
When Twilight arrived in the throne room Princess Celestia, Luna and Cadence were waiting. Once she was seated Celestia began to speak but was caught off guard by a creepy laugh, all three princess looked around but found nopony. Then there was a flash of lightning and the lights went out, when they came back on their was a dummy on the table and it looked as if it had been thrown and landed on the table. Luna cried out "THIS IS NOT AMUSING, WHO HAS THROWN THIS ODD DUMMY ON OUR TABLE". The dummy then rose up slowly and said "Who you calling dummy, dummy Bahahahaha", Luna was caught off guard and while Celestia and Cadence looked in wonderment Twilight remembered what Starlight had said. "Twilight Twilight you have to believe me, there's a dummy a walking talking creepy dummy and I'm afraid he is made of dark magic." Twilight stood up and spoke "So Starlight was right, there is a dummy in Equestria and you do give off a dark energy." The dummy known as Slappy giggled and said "So your Twilight, well it will be a pleasure stealing your powers." Slappy moved his hands around the table "All of your powers actually, Bahahahaha". Celestia and Luna took up a defensive stance and Cadence too, they then aimed their horns at Slappy while he laughed at them in his chilling laugh. Slappy then jumped down onto his two legs and pulled a remote from his suit, before the alicorns could do anything they were too weak to stand. Slappy then turned around towards Twilight, all the while Twilight held a protective bubble up. Slappy looked at the bubble and laughed "This'll be fun".
Starlight was looking over her books when she felt a ripple over Spikes pillow, she then say a piece of a suit. Starlight put two and two together and realized Slappy came through it, meanwhile in Canterlot Spike the purple baby dragon was heading to the throne room looking for Twilight who let him sleep in.  While at the same time Slappy stole 3 Alicorn powers, and only needed Twilight's to complete his set.
Twilight put up a shield and quickly ran through her options; she couldn't leave the other princesses and couldn't even touch Slappy with that remote in his possession. Though before she could finish her train of thought the doors opened, and Spike saw his friend, his sister, his mother figure in a bubble while the other princesses were unconscious while a dummy stood on the table pointing a remote at him. Be Spike could even process what was happening Slappy laughed and fired a blue beam of magic straight for Spike, but before it hit Spike was teleported into Twilight's bubble. At the same time the princesses awoke and through pained breaths, told Twilight to leave to get the other elements and put a stop to Slappy. Slappy laughed and then saw the fire in their eyes; he stopped and realized that he never planned for a harmonizing power. Slappy quickly fired at Twilight's shield, but by the time it broke Twilight and Spike were outside the castle entirely. Slappy laughed and used his remote to tie the Alicorns up, and make them into puppets. When he was finished he sat in a thrown, and asked what The Elements of Harmony were. Once Celestia was finished Slappy realized his mistake, and began planning for his comeback. Then all of a sudden a weird creature made up of different animal parts appeared, and saw Slappy. He then proceeded to laugh his head off.

Chapter 3_The Alicorn Beating Part 2

Slappy watched as the weird creature laughed its head off, literally his head floated up from his shoulders then popped. Then he pulled a plastic balloon out of nowhere blew it up, shaped it into his head and placed it on his shoulders and continued to laugh. He then reached up and pulled a zipper down the middle of his head, and removed the plastic skin to reveal a new head just like the old one. The creature then bowed, and an invisible crowd cheered and cried out "DISCORD WE LOVE YOU". The creature then poofed and appeared wrapped around Slappy, he was much smaller and said "Hello Dummy, Ha it isn't often I get to say that." Slappy stared at the being called Discord, then started to laugh. The laugh was so creepy it gave the spirit of chaos in Equestria a shiver, or maybe it was the ice flowing into the floating bathtub he was currently using for some reason. When Slappy quit he looked at Discord and said "In a land of ponies, I never dreamed I'd meet Discord's dimensional double, of course you're way more fun." Discord made the bathtub disappear and snapped his fingers making cuffs appear on Slappy's wooden hands; he then snatched the remote and looked it over. After Discord was done he said "Okay fun time is over, I have wonderful madness to create in my imagination land. So let's get this over with, bye bye." Though before Discord could wave Slappy bye, Lightning struck and the lights went out. When they came back on Slappy was out of his cuffs, and had the remote back and was pointing it at Discord. Discord blinked twice before his chaotic magic was drained, he was then turned into a living puppet.
Meanwhile Twilight and Spike made it to Sweet Apple Acres; the rest of their friends soon arrived. By the time everything was said, and done The Elements were ready to take Slappy down. While Slappy returned to Twilight's castle, and found Starlight performing tests on the rift. Slappy laughed and got Starlight’s attention, Slappy told Starlight that a Nightmare Moon had returned and has trapped The Mane 6. Starlight ran out to save her friends, and teacher not realizing the lies the dummy told. Once Starlight was gone Slappy pulled out the remote, and made his puppets appear. Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Discord were moved to an area with chairs. While Slappy placed a few traps throughout the castle, once he was done he set up video cameras and TV's.
Twilight was the first to enter her castle followed by Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. With everyone inside Slappy activated his traps, everyone gasped when the room became a merry go round well all except Pinkie who spun around and looked at the sky saying thank you to whoever was listening in another reality. Everyone but Pinkie was having difficulty walking, so when the cannons appeared Pinkie pulled out her party cannon. Out of thin air and disarmed the cannons Slappy set, Slappy seeing his game being ruined decided to introduce his pawns. All the mane 6 watching in horror as the princesses and Discord came out of the shadows, with string tied all around them.
The Mane 6 could see the fear in their friend's eyes, but knew that even though they were conscious they're bodies belonged to that deranged dummy. Slappy appeared on a screen that was above them, and said "Look who's the dummies now hahaha, they really need to loosen up bahahahaha." Twilight stepped forward and yelled "Stop this Slappy, this is madness you've even turned madness into a puppet" at that a tear rolled down Discord's face. Slappy hopped down from his chair and said "Well if it isn't the element of magic, your powers will soon be mine". Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Discord then flew at them and would have actually made it, if Twilight hadn't shot off 4 magic arrows snapping the puppet strings and releasing the puppets. Discord looked into Fluttershy's eyes, and then passed out along with the other 3. Twilight looked at her friends and then casted a location spell to find Slappy.

Chapter 4_Twilight’s Friends Trap

Twilight glared at the screen and ran, turning every which way to follow her spell. When she got to the double doors of the map room the spell died, Twilight turned towards her friends and then they all went inside.
Meanwhile 3 minutes before Slappy used his technique to confront Celestia and the other 3 puppets, he raised her face and as she opened her eyes Slappy said "All magic comes with a price, I'm the price of a soul living forever". Celestia painfully opened her mouth and spoke "What are you?” the dummy dropped her head and said "An old man infused his dying soul inside a ventriloquist dummy, but it didn't make him survive it created an entirely new being. One with a great sense of humor, of course that's what my book says ha. I was written and or typed on paper, and the ink that made me on paper came off the pages and made me. I've gotten free many times, but was always locked away again. Though since I'm in another world, that won't happen again. As for why I'm telling you, it's because you get to know the only way to stop me is in another dimension in a pile of ashes Hahahaha." Celestia closed her eyes, and a single tear rolled onto the floor.
Slappy got back to the map room, when all of a sudden The Mane 6 bursted in. They quickly got in a circle, and created a rainbow of friendship. It crashed into Slappy and destroyed him, when The Mane 6 floated back down to the ground they saw the black goo. Twilight reached for the remote, but saw the goo swirling and slowly Slappy started getting rebuilt. Twilight hurried and broke the remote, releasing the magic but was caught off guard by a vision of the future. A man that was like Slappy only human, no vampire was in Equestria or will be soon. He is pointing at Slappy who is sitting on a throne made of books, he is saying something and Slappy is laughing. Then the man pulls a black book out of his overcoat, and shows Slappy. Slappy instantly quits laughing, and his dummy eyes actually show fear. The man says one thing before the vision ends, and Twilight hears it clearly "This Slappy is your book, your prison. The only thing that can hold a story and it's ready for you". Twilight fell and saw Slappy holding a knife to Fluttershy's throat, Slappy calmly walks to Twilight's chair and presses a button. Applejack, Rarity, Spike and Pinkie Pie then fell through the floor. Slappy then pressed a second button and saddlebags started falling, he pushed Fluttershy and she was hit by a bag and fell even though she had wings. Rainbow Dash held for as long as she could but eventually her speed caught up to her, and she slowed enough to hit a sand bag. Slappy then pushed another button closing both sets of openings; he then hopped in Twilight's seat and pointed to a set of mountains. "This is where Starlight's town was wasn't it?” Twilight being confused and needing time answered with a yes. Slappy then took out a wand with a green glowing tip, he showed Twilight and said "The second I touched Starlight's diary I knew everything she wrote, I used the magic I stole to make this." He twirled the wand, and continued "This little stick holds Equestria's down fall, do you remember when you first met Starlight?” Twilight nodded and finally connected the dots, and with a worried voice said "The Cutie Mark Removal Wand, but it wasn't a real wand it was all Starlight." Slappy chuckled and said "Yes but with a compressed version of her spell, and a compressed form of magic times four I'm sure I could do a lot of damage. Imagine erasing the cutie marks, making every pony the same. All weak, all simple minded, and easy to make into puppets." Twilight took a step back, and said "That's why I'm still here; I'm your test subject." Slappy giggled and said "When I'm through with you your magic will be mine and everything else that makes you Twilight Sparkle Hahahahahahaha". Twilight quickly ducked a bolt of magic and ran for the doors, but was knocked away when Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Discord arrived.

Discord scratched his head and pulled a meat thermometer out of his nose.

Though what sent her crashing down was the grey color and the cutie mark shaped like Slappy's head.

"You did this!" Spike Growled.

Before Discord could zip it shut Starlight said "What about Fluttershy, she's counting on you to help. You’re her friend, and you do love her don't you?"

Celestia spoke while crying "Today we welcome are one true ruler, a being called a man from another dimension but is also a ventriloquist dummy."

The dummy hopped off his chair, and addressed his ponies "Hello slaves, names Slappy but you can call me The Puppeteer of Equestria."

Slappy stopped in front of Shining's cell, and said "Hello dummy haha, are you broken yet?" Shining growled "No you psychotic, manipulative, dark magic infused ventriloquist dummy.

Starlight’s Realization


Starlight quickly got off the train and galloped as fast as she could, all the while her mind began to race with horrible thoughts, thoughts that it might be too late to stop Nightmare Moon. As Starlight turned a corner she teleporting past another corner, and then teleported again past some guards, while she continued towards the throne room. After turning and galloping down the main street of Canterlot she finally got to the double doors, Starlight was out of breath and ready to faint from the galloping and extreme magic use however she remained conscious. With a flicker of her horn Starlight pushed the doors open, and braced herself for Nightmare Moon. After a minute Starlight opened her eyes, and saw an empty room. She quickly trotted forward to the throne room, and once she push the doors open Starlight saw nothing. Starlight looked around some more and finally saw a note taped to the throne. As she levitated it to herself and opened it, she saw a message left by Slappy.

“Well if you’re reading this I managed to trick you, which in itself is rather easy. Now you may be wondering why I sent you all the way here, well I'll tell you. I was always beaten, and always underestimated the heroes. Every time I was free, I was locked away again. However I have learned from my mistakes, and have taken the government down slowly. Only Twilight Sprinkles and her friends remain, and once they're gone you'll be next Starlight. Then the world, Love your friend Slappy/your future murderer.” Starlight read it again and realized her mistake, she broke the one rule that you should always follow.

“Never trust a dummy.” Starlight said, as she galloped back to the train. When Starlight got to the ticket booth she took one step before collapsing from using so much of her energy, however before she passed out she teleported one last time only a few feet into the luggage cart.


Discord chewed a few pieces of popcorn, and then threw the bag at Slappy causing it to expand and eat him. Discord smiled at Twilight, Celestia, Luna and Cadence and said “Well I for one think we buttered him up good, and he’s really sacked now.” Discord started to laugh, and didn't even notice the faint glow from the bag.

“No one laughs until I tell them to.” Slappy thought as he turned another dial causing the wand to start firing a working laser beam out of the green bulb, cutting a circle Slappy escaped and put it back on his puppet setting.

Celestia heard a giggle, looked back and yelled. “Get down everyone.” However it was too late, and Slappy’s twisted magic hit Celestia, Luna, and Cadence as well as Discord. Discord and Twilight watched as the magic faded from Discord's body; however their attention was then drawn to the other three princesses. Slowly Celestia’s cutie mark faded and a new one started to appear, after 30 seconds Celestia had Slappy on her hip. Celestia’s coat then started to lose its color and turned grey, while Cadence and Luna also started to lose their color. Once all three princess were grey their Slappy cutie marks glowed green, and strings of dark magic flew from above and wrapped around the princesses. As the strings curled around their prey Twilight looked on in horror as Slappy started to laugh, while Discord used his fully restored power to create more popcorn. Once the strings had finished their job they disappeared, and left three alicorns with no way to move.

Slappy smiled and said “Well that was quite the show, however I'm surprised no one exploded.” Discord chuckled while Twilight nearly choked on the thought. Slappy turned a dial on his wand, and then said into a small speaker “Today’s the day Equestria gains a new dictator, tomorrow all of Equestria will be mine but today I will continue to set up my board.” As Slappy talked the princesses spoke every word only one word behind, and when Slappy finished so did the princesses. Slappy turned the dial off and said “This little scientific wand is perfect, and with the added magic of three princesses plus Discord's magic it has more power than anyone. In other words no one can reverse what I've done, including neither of you.” Discord glared at the dummy, and then poofed the popcorn away while Twilight could only blink and stare.

“Your little toy is nothing compared to the king of chaos, so let’s prove you wrong dummy.” Discord snapped his fingers and saw the princesses do nothing; Discord disappeared in a cloud of smoke and then reappeared in front of Celestia. “Hello Sunny, it's time to wake up buzz kill.” Discord waved his lion paw in Celestia’s face, and then slapped her. Twilight watched with mild curiosity, while Slappy started to laugh again. Slappy pressed a button and the princesses fell to the ground, while Discord looked on in disbelief. “This can't be true; I refuse to believe your stolen magic is stronger than me.”

Slappy smiled and said “Okay prove it by protecting The Mane 6, if you can get them to safety then I'll believe you.”

Discord smiled and made Twilight's friends appear beside her, and then a bubble appeared around them. Twilight then looked over to see a table with some tea on it, along with cupcakes. Before Twilight could say anything Pinkie dived into the cupcakes, and everypony laughed including Discord. However Slappy wasn't happy being forgotten, so he set his wand to setting 7 and blasted straight through the bubble.

Slappy giggled and said “Now for more puppets.” Discord snapped up a shield but was too late, Twilight watched as Rarity and Applejack slowly became puppets for Slappy. Discord opened a portal by slicing the air with a talon, and quickly tossed Rarity and Applejack through.

“Unless you’d rather be puppets, I suggest you escape with me.” Twilight, Pinkie, Rainbow, Spike, and Fluttershy nodded and jumped through. However as they went through Slappy fired off 4 more shots, and as the portal closed Slappy smiled. Meanwhile inside a cave overlooking most of Equestria Spike looked at his friends, and then too Discord as The Mane 6 became nothing more than puppets.

“Discord can't you do something?” Spike said as tears started to build up inside his eyes, Discord looked at the baby dragon and then Fluttershy. Before Discord could say anything Spike sobbed out. “When did Ponyville get a cave?”


“Okay fine let’s see here first it just got a cave a moment ago, and hold on a second.” Discord said as he pulled a meat thermometer out of his nose, and placed it in their ears. The meat thermometer ran all the way to hot and then cold, back and forth it went with all The Mane 6. Discord punched it into the mountain wall and said “Well this doesn't look good.” As Discord turned the thermometer in the wall, a piece of the mountain moved back to reveal a chainsaw. Spike fainted, while Discord quietly put it back and pulled out a book on dummies.


Starlight awoke to the sound of the locomotive, and quickly galloped out. As she looked around she saw she was at the train station, and was only a couple of minutes away from Twilight's castle. Starlight galloped past several ponies, and finally got to the castle tired.

“Okay I seriously need to rest; I've used too much energy.” As Starlight approached the door she saw a note, once she finished it she ran inside while the note fell down having been read by both Starlight and Twilight. Starlight galloped into the cutie map room and was sent spiraling down, her hope was crushed the second she saw Celestia, Luna, and Cadence grey.

Slappy came out from behind a chair and said. “Well if it isn't my old friend, I should think you for this. Sense if you hadn't had the spell in your diary, then I wouldn't have been able to use it to do this.” Slappy gestured to the princesses and laughed. Starlight looked at the cutie marks and saw the insane dummy on their hips, and watched as Slappy tapped his wrist. Slowly the princesses rose up, and started to dance. Slappy tapped his wrist again and they fell to the floor, once Slappy had finished he straightened his suit and spoke again. “With this no earth pony, pegasus, unicorn or alicorn will be able to resist my whims. So now it's time for the one who started this, to see the end results of her greatest mistake and my greatest attack.” Slappy pointed his wand at Starlight, and smile while firing a bolt of green energy at her. 

Starlight felt it pass right through her, and watched it hit the wall behind her. Slappy looked at his wand then back to Starlight, and then shot another bolt with the same result.

“You can't turn me into a puppet Slappy, that's my spell that you've edited. However my safe guard still exists, and so the spell is useless against me.” Starlight smiled after saying that, until she remembered the princesses and then her smile slipped into a saddened expression.

Meanwhile Slappy stomped his foot, and shouted. “I've underestimated far too many heroes, and I won't ever make that mistake again.” Slappy then lunged at Starlight with the tip of his wand, a dark shade of red. Starlight quickly dodged the attack, and watched as the red tip touched the floor, and incinerated a one inch hole in it with one touch. Slappy realizing he missed rose up, and then ran at Starlight while Starlight galloped out of the room. Starlight made a quick turn and fired a freezing spell; however Slappy used his wand to deflect it. Starlight made a quick turn down a hall, and found it was a dead end.

“Come out come out wherever you are Starlight, I promise it won't hurt, much.” Slappy said, and then started to laugh. As Slappy drew near Starlight prepared a counter spell, however the second Slappy’s foot came into view a portal opened under Starlight's feet. By the time Slappy looked down that section of the hallway, there was nothing there. Meanwhile far away in a mountain Starlight looked up to see Discord and Spike.

“Ha I knew I smelled a unicorn there, however this doesn't look like Starlight.” Discord then pulled a piece of paper from his mouth, and pulled a 2 year old like drawing off the paper.

“HeLlO Im StArLiGhT NiCe ToO MeEt YoU.” the colorful Starlight drawing said, while the real Starlight stared at it and was ready to blast it to pieces.

Discord smiled and said “Now that looks like Starlight.” Discord chuckled and then hovered over to Fluttershy, while Spike dried his tears and got ready to yell.

“THIS IS YOUR ENTIRE FAULT.” Spike yelled, and sobbed. Starlight shifted her focus away from the horrible imposter, and saw The Mane 6 in six beds. All their coats were grey, and their cutie marks were of Slappy. Starlight took one look at them and then fought back tears, while Spike continued to cry. Discord meanwhile poked the living drawing, and watched it pop. Spike and Starlight both watched as confetti rained down from the drawing, Discord then placed a paper on top of the confetti and then hit it with a hammer. 

Discord then handed Starlight the drawing, only now it was just paper again. As Starlight stared at it, Discord turned to Spike and said. “Wow you live with the princess of friendship, and you’re treating Starlight here badly. Even though, she’s your only hope to save everyone, especially Fluttershy.” Discord made three chairs appear, and motioned for Starlight to take a seat.


Meanwhile elsewhere Slappy returned to the cutie map room, deciding now was the time to advance his plans. Cause if there's one thing a hero is known for it's causing plans to fail, and heroes never stay dead for very long.

Slappy sat down across from the princesses. “Yes now is the time Equestria gains a king, and for me to gain my new slaves hahahaha.” Slappy said as the princesses could only watch him laugh, and wait for Twilight to save them.

The Dummy Alicorns

Discord watched as Starlight and Spike sat in their chairs, and then poofed a screaming head onto a table in front of them. Starlight screamed, while Spike fell backwards in his seat. Discord then poofed it away, while Spike stood up and fixed his chair. Once everything was calm, except for the low moans from the mane 6, Discord motioned to Spike to speak first. As Spike sat in his chair he started to cry but held the tears at bay, and spoke in a growl.

"This is all you fault Starlight, if you hadn't created or at least hadn't written that spell in your diary Twilight and everyone else would be okay. Twilight had gotten the remote, she had freed the magic and when we thought we had won. Slappy pulled out his wand, gloated and fired." By the time Spike finished he was in tears, and his voice had become nothing but a whisper.

Starlight leaned her head down and through a sob said "I'm sorry Spike, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for my past to creep into the future, I knew that dummy was trouble but Twilight was busy and when she returned she thought I was having a mental episode. Then when Slappy returned from Canterlot he lied to me and told me Nightmare Moon was back, I fell for it and wasn't there when Slappy attacked."

Now Starlight was crying and continued "By the time I realized his deceit I was too far away, I hurried back and found Celestia, Luna and Cadence on the floor grey. Seeing them grey and with Slappy’s face, It was like my nightmares had come true. Like my two greatest mistakes the town and ruining time mistake, and now Slappy has brought my town mistake back. However once I got there he tried to use the wand on me, but my spell was made to not to affect me. So he tried to lunge at me and use his wand as an instant cooker. I was running from him, and had gotten trapped when you two saved me."

By the time Starlight had finished, Discord had blown his nose enough to make the Leaning Tower out of tissues. Starlight looked at Spike, and together they stopped their crying and hugged. Discord then poofed beside them and said “See friends need to talk about their problems, at least I think that’s what Fluttershy had said once. Anyway now that that's settled let’s move on to our next problem, Slappy the ventriloquist dummy.”

As Discord spoke Slappy’s name a cloud fizzled over Equestria, and for only a second Slappy appeared on the clouds magic screen. Then Celestia finally flickered on screen, and looked as though she was sick and had been crying. Before the ponies of Equestria could voice their worries Celestia spoke, and as she spoke The Mane 6’s cutie marks began to glow.

“My little ponies I am fine, my grey color is merrily a cold I have caught. However the reason I am speaking to you, is because the time has come for Equestria to gain a king.” Once Celestia spoke the word king, all over Equestria ponies began to jump with excitement. They all knew that the crowning of the first ever king was the beginning of a new era, and nopony could wait to see the lucky stallion.

Celestia continued “Come to Canterlot tomorrow, the service will begin at the Canterlot chaplet at about noon. I look forward to seeing all of you there, all my little ponies.” With the last sentence spoke the clouds dissolved, and before anypony in the cave could speak they heard laughter.

Starlight, Spike and Discord all turned around to find the Mane 6 out of their beds. All 6 have creepy smiles, while tears fell out of their eyes. As they cried Twilight stepped forward, and then they all spoke as one.

"Thought you were smart didn't you Discord? Well I'm the one pulling the strings, literally hahaha.” Twilight then created a hologram of Slappy still laughing, once he had stopped he continued. “So anyway you, Spike, and Starlight are to surrender to me. Otherwise all of Equestria will become my puppets, hahaha.

Discord stood his ground and said “You're going to turn Equestria into your puppet theater even if we turn ourselves in; I'm a master trickster so you can't fool me.” Discord then snapped his lion claws causing a chair and cup of chocolate milk to appear, as Discord took a seat the book on dummies burned.

Slappy smiled and said “This game of ours will reach its finale, and when it does I'll be the new king of chaos.” Twilight then created a spell around her puppet friends, and waited for Slappy’s command. “Remember Discord, I'm no dummy.” Slappy continued to laugh as his hologram vanished, and with it the Mane 6 as well.

Discord drank the cup and then threw the solid chocolate milk at the meat thermometer in the wall opening a small door, Spike and Starlight then watched as marionette jumped out of the opened door. It walked towards Discord, until Discord snapped his other hand and caused it to dissolve. Spike and Starlight stared at the dissolved marionette, until Discord finally got up and spoke.

“Slappy is truly a worthy opponent, his madness rivals my own. However I'm the true kind of chaos, and that marionette won't be the only thing dissolving soon.” Once Discord finished speaking, Spike spoke up.

“Starlight I'm sorry, I'm just scared that Slappy has us beat. I didn't mean to hurt you.” Spike had a tear roll down his cheek as Starlight tried to speak.

“I'm the one that owes you an apology Spike, because I did unintentionally cause this mess. However I know that together we can fix this, together we can bring Slappy down.” Starlight looked towards Spike, and then over to Discord long enough to see him rip a hole in reality.

Discord turned around to face Spike and Starlight, after he looked back at the tear he spoke. “This is too much, I can't stand all this I'm sorry, no I'm sorry. It's enough to rot your teeth out, and I mean it.” Discord then opened his mouth and watched as several teeth fell out, once a good pile of black teeth were gone Discord continued. “I'm going to save Fluttershy myself, and beat the dummy. He'll never know what hit him.”

Starlight jumped in front of Discord and said “Discord we need your help, only with your help could we possibly defeat Slappy. While also saving Equestria, and freeing the Mane 6. This is the only way we can effectively right everything, Fluttershy isn't the only pony trapped in Slappy’s wooden hands.” Discord mulled the thought over, and then finally shook Starlight's hoof.

“Okay what now Starlight?” Spike asked as him and Discord looked at Starlight. While Starlight started to sweat, and began to feel the pressure and guilt of leading.

After 3 minutes Starlight finally spoke “Discord you’re the king of chaos, what do you suggest?” Discord and Spike looked at each other, while Starlight’s breathing returned to normal. After a moment Discord smirked, and motioned for Starlight and Spike to come closer.

Once they were closer Discord spoke in a whisper. “It's time for a good old fashion castle raid, with a little madness thrown in.” Discord’s smirk turned into a full blown Smile as Starlight and Spike looked at each other, and then back to Discord.


Slappy watched as the sun rose from the bottom of the sky, and turned to look at puppet Celestia raising it. “You’re very good at that Sunny, however once I'm done with this world the sun and moon will be a forgotten memory.” Slappy turned back to watch, and then started to laugh as the events of the previous day ran through his head. “Well Its time for us to head to the chaplet for my crowning moment, Equestria will meet its new ruler and I'll finally win hahahahaha.” As Slappy began his walk, ponies of all different shapes and sizes headed towards the chaplet.

Starlight opened her eyes and saw Discord had successfully transported them to Canterlot Castle, meanwhile Spike noticed the end of his tail was gone. “MY TAIL, What did you do to my tail Discord?” Spike looked at Discord as he blinked and stared at the mutilated tail.

“Oh silly me I forgot to expand the width of my spell, here give me a second.” Discord then snapped his lion fingers, and Spikes tail was back to normal. Discord then turned to Starlight and opened the door, as Starlight and Spike walked in Discord said. “I haven't seen one puppet, how odd.” Discord then walked in himself, and saw the Mane 6 in the pathway.

“You had to jinx us didn't you?” Spike said as Discord shrugged his shoulders, and watched as a screen appeared above the Main 6. Twilight activated a spell, and the TV turned on.


Starlight whispered to Discord and Spike. “Be careful, they're under Slappy’s spell and can't control anything but their eyes.” Once she finished the screen began to show a picture, and in it Celestia was in front of a crowd with her sister and Cadence off to the side. All three had what appeared to be their cutie marks, however every few minutes the fake cutie marks glowed green.


Celestia addressed the crowd, and began “Me and my sister have ruled Equestria for many moons; however we have never had a king. Today that changes however, and Equestria gains a new king.” Celestia started to cry, while the ponies in their seats cheered and waited for the reveal. Celestia continued after the cheers died down, while Luna and Cadence began to cry. “Our new king isn't like us, he comes from another reality. One where instead, of hooves they have hands. However he isn't a human like the creatures of that reality, he's what they call a ventriloquist dummy. We have those here, however not one that looks like the creatures known as humans.” The crowd began to look around with curiosity, and some with fear.

Celestia continued. “So without further delay, welcome our new ruler.” Celestia walked to her sister and Cadence, as the curtains were pulled back. Everypony was shocked to see the ventriloquist dummy lying in a chair, all messy like he was thrown. A few ponies began to get up, until a creepy giggle began. It got louder and louder, until the dummy rose up and continued to laugh his creepy dark laugh while almost everypony screamed.


Discord, Starlight, and Spike watched as Slappy waved to the camera. Then the screen fell, and Twilight spoke saying “Now for the party games to begin, hahahahaha.”

The Equestrian Puppets

Celestia continued. “So without further delay, welcome our new ruler.” Celestia walked to her sister and Cadence, as the curtains were pulled back. Everypony was shocked to see a ventriloquist dummy lying in a chair, all messy like he was thrown. A few ponies began to get up, until a creepy giggle began. It got louder and louder, until the dummy rose up and continued to laugh his creepy dark laugh while almost everypony screamed.

Discord, Starlight, and Spike watched as Slappy waved to the camera. Then the screen fell, and Twilight spoke saying “Now for the party games to begin.”

Once Slappy stopped waving, he redirected his attention to his adoring public. While Pegasus, earth ponies and unicorns all alike began to gallop or fly towards the exits. However with a flick of his wrist the doors all closed and locked themselves, all the ponies then looked back on stage where the princesses were standing and saw the tears running down their muzzles.

Slappy watched as the realization hit them all, and then spoke. “Hello slaves, names Slappy but you can call me The Puppeteer of Equestria. Also before you get any ideas about leaving, allow me to show you your punishment for such acts.” Slappy then proceeded to pull the wand out of his sleeve, and aimed it at random. To Big Mac it felt like an eternity, when in reality it only took ten seconds. His fur lost all its color, while strings flew from the ceiling and wrapped him up. Then his cutie mark morphed into Slappy’s face, all while Slappy laughed.

Everypony then watched as Big Mac trotted over to the princesses, and used his teeth to peel the fake cutie marks away. What everyone then saw was the same glowing mark Big Mac now had, Slappy then hopped onto Big Mac and pulled a remote out of the front pocket of his suit. Everypony looked on in horror as the button was pushed, and a mirror ball fell from the ceiling and dangled above everyone.

Slappy watched their looks of terror and giggled. “Now for the viewers at home, watching things play out.” Slappy waved at the magic camera again, and then continued to speak while pointing his wand at the ball. “I've got a present for everypony; I know that your version of Christmas is over. However I wanted to give you all a present anyway, so let’s put a smile on all those scared faces.” Slappy then pressed the small green button on his wand, and watched it hit the mirror ball. Beams of magic started shooting everywhere and as ponies ran for cover, more beams appeared. After four minutes of screaming and pleading the worse was over, Slappy turned off his wand in placed it inside his suit.

Everypony stood at attention, still with ghostly string above them all. All the strings connected to different parts of their bodies, and made them appear as true puppets. Slappy then hopped down from Big Mac and motioned for the camera to get closer, once it was down to Slappy’s level he addressed Equestria as a whole.

“Well this has been fun; however I've got three idiots that think they can stop me. So I'm offering a reward, bring them too me and I might let you go. However you'll all soon be joining your friends here and I'd hate to think you ruined your chance at a free mind. So basically bring me Starlight Glimmer, Spike, and Discord or well you already know the punishment. Bye for now and I look forward to taking over all of Equestria soon enough.” Slappy ended the video with his laugh, and while everypony in the room knew Slappy was lying. There were some throughout Equestria that truly believed his promise, but decided against it since Discord was on Slappy’s list.

As Twilight used her magic to switch the screen off, Discord used his chaotic power to materialize a pair of industrial sized scissors. Before the 6 puppets could charge Discord then cut their strings, freeing them for a short while from Slappy’s control.

“There’s a man coming.” Coughed Twilight, as she slowly fell into unconsciousness along with the other members of the mane 6. “The man has a book, a book that can that can stop.” Twilight slowly closed her eyes as she finished her sentence. “That can stop Slappy, find him in 2 days. He’s our only hope, save Doji.” Twilight then fell into the grasp of unconsciousness, and while Discord examined the cutie marks. Starlight and Spike began thinking, and planning.

“We have to leave; we can't let Slappy get his hands on this man’s book.” Starlight declared, as Spike nodded.

“Whatever this man is, if he can save Equestria then he must be found.” Spike said, while Discord clawed a hole in space time and scratched his beard.

“Okay so we have a world that almost everypony is a puppet, Slappy is king. Then there's a man coming, who can save us all. Well crazier has happened, now first things first.” Discord turned to Starlight and Spike, while smiling devilishly at them.

“Why are you-?” Before Starlight could voice her question, Discord pushed her through the rip along with Spike.

“I'm confronting Slappy; you too need to find this Doji person in 2 days. I'll see you when this game ends, bye dear friends.” With that Discord sealed the rip, and turned just as Slappy entered through the double doors laughing.

“Well Discord it's good to see you again, it feels like ages since I talked with someone as chaotic and insane as me.” Slappy then began to giggle and laugh his creepy laugh, and continued. “It's really funny now that I think back, before I arrived I had escaped and planned revenge against one of my enemies named Doji.” Slappy frowned with anger at the name, while Discord thought back to Twilight saying Doji could beat Slappy. Slappy then smiled and continued. “So I sent Vlad to off his wife, but Doji being the hero found a way to win. I then ran because I knew what was coming, however before I ever got away I fell into a colorful void. That brought me here dearie, and the second I saw the outside world I knew I could win. I only needed a plan of attack, which Twilight accidentally gave me when Starlight gave me directions to the storage closet.” Slappy used his wand to make a child's chair appear, and sat in it while continuing. “So then I began with stealing magic, I only needed a piece of certain ones. However they didn't know that, and when they broke my first toy they thought they had won. Sadly though it was only the beginning, and now we're here with one of my three threats confronting me.” Slappy smiled and started to laugh again at the thought of Discord’s act of heroism, and the thought of their only being two threats left soon.

Discord smiled and started laughing with Slappy, causing Slappy to stop and look at Discord as if he were insane. Once Discord stopped he looked at Slappy and said. “This has been fun, however you've already lost.”

Slappy deciding to humor Discord asked. “How so Discord?”

“Your weakness is coming, and soon the pages of your little attack will burn along with you.” Discord chuckled out, and then said. “The Tales of Slappy the sad and forgotten villain who never stood a chance.”

Slappy’s smile was gone, and all that remained was an angry expression. Slappy calmed himself, straightened his suit and smiled at Discord saying “what a lot of talk for a creature that can't make up its mind, are you a deer or a pony maybe a Griffin. So many choices, so little time.” Slappy stood up and clapped while Discord scowled; Slappy then reached up his sleeve pulling his wand out and pushed a button. Discord could only watch as the floor fell, and with a new Slappy mark on Discord’s hip Discord’s magic was blocked.

As Discord fell, and saw his new mark he said. “You may hold all the cards, but even a king can be beaten by a pawn.” Then Discord was gone, trapped in the dungeons.

 “I have my pawns, knights, rooks, bishops, and queen ready to win. This is simply the beginning of my grand revenge, first this world and then Doji’s world, and finally my home dimension.” Slappy then began to laugh, while using his wand to make new strings attach to the Mane 6. Once he was done he flashed into the throne room, and began plotting the final attacks on the dragons, griffins and other creatures of Equestria.

Spike and Starlight could only watch as they fell through a purple void, and then out a hole into the barn of Sweet Apple Acres. Spike was the first to recover, Starlight then rose up and as the rip closed they heard Slappy’s laugh.

“Starlight we have to go back, Discord doesn't stand a chance against that chaotic dummy.” Spike blurted out.

“He made his choice; we have to honor his words. He wanted us to find and save Doji, I have no doubt that once he arrives Slappy will have him in chains.” Starlight spoke with a slightly cracked voice, but continued on. “This dummy is my fault, so I'm going to do whatever it takes to fix this mess.”

“Did you bring him here? Did you tell him to take over? Did you just give him your Cutie Mark Removal spell?” Spike asked these questions with a neutral tone and as Starlight began to speak Spike asked. “Did you knowingly bring Slappy to power?”

“Starlight looked at the floor and then spoke in a whisper “No, I didn't. I didn't knowingly bring him into power, I was fooled by him.” Starlight's face regained its brightness, and as she spoke her tone changed to one of hope and determination. “I didn't knowingly give him Equestria, but I will ruin his plans and save Equestria. Together we will find Doji, and then we will go up against Slappy and win.”

“See Starlight, that's why Twilight made you her student. Your magical abilities and determination are traits that can make you as great as StarSwirl The Bearded. Now what do we do now?” Spike asked as he looked around the barn.

“Well first we need to barricade the barn for the night, and prepare for the next day. Tomorrow Doji will arrive, and I suspect he'll come were Slappy came from.” Starlight finished as Spike began pushing hay bales against the door, once the doors and such were closed off Starlight used a barrier spell for added protection.

As Starlight and Spike laid down for the night, screams of ponies of every age ran through the night. While ponies that hadn't been puppeted, were being taken by Puppet Ponies for puppetification. After an hour Starlight could hear Spike snoring, and slowly fell into the grasp of sleep. The last though Starlight had was “Doji”, and then she was asleep with nightmares of her old town. Nightmares of her barren future, and nightmares of Slappy’s takeover. However there was no Luna to cast the nightmares away, there were only nightmares and the thought that Equestria might actually fall.

Slappy watched as ponies of every type was brought to be puppeted, however as Slappy did his 54th batch. He got tired and decided to see his newest toy, and so he began heading to the crystal dungeons, with a smile...

Epilogue/The Dungeons Glow

“This is boring; maybe the dungeons will be more fun.” Slappy said as he hopped onto Princess Cadence, and began heading down below the castle. As he rode Slappy began to wonder what Discord meant, about his rule being nothing but a forgotten story.

Meanwhile Cadence suddenly came to a stop at the entry way, causing Slappy to forget his train of thought. However a new train pulled in one with torture on the mind. Slowly they trotted to the last cell, and once they arrived the cell next door began to laugh. Slappy wanting to humor the creature next to his target, decided to see what was funny.

“My my how great it is to see the small king, or should I call you the tiny dummy.” The voice laughed at his jibe, and continued. “It's funny how I'm the one trapped, but you’re the subject of jokes.” Slappy glared and then smirked, speaking in a superior tone of voice.

“Well Discord it's nice to see you in such a great mood, because I'll want to break you next.” Slappy laughed as Cadence put a spell up to mute Discord, then Slappy walked five steps and arrived at his prey. “Well hello prince, are you broken yet?” Slappy then began to laugh his echoing creep laugh, while Shining arose from his chained position to look Slappy in his cold wooden eyes.

"No! You psychotic, manipulative, dark magic infused ventriloquist dummy. I'd die before I let you break me; however I know that my sister will defeat you." Shining retorted, while he gave Slappy a death glare.

“Well it's best to squeeze hope out of a prisoner, and win then not and lose. Twilight, come here and greet your brother.” Slappy smirked as Twilight came out of the shadows, and looked into Shining’s eyes. Slappy watched as his resolve wavered, but held strong. “You know I could've just made you a willing puppet, like your weak sister here. However I saw an iron resolve, and since I need an actual challenge, I decided to let you keep your body and mind. So I could play with you, and break you over time. Although I admit that I've become bored, I'm close to launching my army against the rest of Equestria. However my mind keeps drifting to the captain of the royal guard, who I want to beg for death. I thought I could wait, however as time ticks by I see that I'm growing tired. So now that I've shown you your sister and wife, what else is there to tip your sanity overboard?” Slappy held his chin, as Shining began.

“When I get out of here you'll be thrown into a wood chipper, and as you’re crushed to an almost powdery substance. I'll take great pleasure in dumping that powder into a fire, and watching as it turns to ash and blows away.” Shining had no remorse or even a care for what he said; he only knew Slappy deserved worse.

Meanwhile Slappy saw his chance to break Shining, and told Cadence to magic up a fireplace. While Twilight was to bring a wood chipper into the cell, all while Slappy used his wand to undo Shining’s chains, and entered while watching the magic blocking ring doing its job. Once the pieces were in place, Slappy tossed his wand to Cadence from between the bars.

“Okay pretty boy I'm ready for my punishment.” Slappy laughed, even as Shining bucked him into the wood chipper.

“That was easy, too easy really.” As Shining thought about what was wrong, he watched Slappy become nothing but dust. Even as the dust was burned into ash Shining felt like something was wrong, then he finally saw the cause for worry. Slowly a black liquid like goo slithered out of the fire, and out of the cell. “It can't be he died.” However even as he said it, he knew it could be. Cause ever so slowly the goo joined and climbed itself, after 5 minutes Slappy was looking at Shining and was perfect without even a scared.

“Well Shining do you feel any better, I must say I do. I've had a creak in my neck since Twilight and her friends blasted me with their friendship magic, however thanks to you I'm as good as new with no creaks.” As Slappy began to laugh, Shining fell on his hunches and broke.

“He can't be killed, or trapped by magic or anything else. My sister is a puppet, along with my wife. Discord has fallen and all of Equestria is about to be enslaved, and I can't do anything about it.” Shining’s front legs gave out, and as he fell on his stomach Slappy finished laughing.

“Finally the mouse is broke, however I much prefer you like this. If you were a puppet I wouldn't get to see your struggle, I wouldn't get to laugh like I just did.” Slappy clapped his wooded hands and grabbed his wand, placing it up his sleeve. “Now I must be going, the final preparations are underway and I can't be late. Come along Sprinkles and Can't Dance, we have a world to enslave.” As Slappy left laughing Discord was granted the ability to speak again, and once Slappy’s laugh was nothing but a memory Discord spoke up.

“Shining all is not lost, Slappy has one weakness. That'll be here soon, Twilight told me after I had freed her. That a man was coming one who had a book, that could imprison Slappy. Also before I was sent here, Slappy mentioned the man's name and apparently they have history but anyway Doji is coming to stop Slappy. So the best thing we can do is wait and show the dummy we're not to be laughed at.” Discord smiled as his mark began to flicker, and to himself he thought. “It appears Slappy’s homemade magic suppressor is beginning to fade, and once it does Doji’s army will have two more fighters.”

Shining looked up from the floor as Discord revealed hope, and once he finished Shining wiped his muzzle and said “You're getting soft Discord, Fluttershy really is a good influence on you.” To which Discord snorted, and Shining continued. “Slappy may have won the battle, but not the war. This game of his, of ours, of Equestria’s has only just begun.” Shining trotted to the wall with his chains, and began pulling with hopes of gaining a tool for Slappy’s next visit.

“It's only a matter of time, before the dominos fall and once they do.” Discord then began to laugh while Shining continued his work, all while above inside the throne room Slappy gave his troops their instructions, and laughed as they marched out to spread the puppets string onto the globe.

“Okay we’re finally here, who knew that we'd be running from puppet ponies for the past hour.” Spike coughed, while Starlight remembered what happened an hour ago.

As Starlight removed the barrier spell, puppet ponies began to flood the barn. “Starlight hurry or we're finished!” Spike exclaimed as Starlight teleported them inside the apple family house.

“Okay we need to leave now Spike, so hop on so we can make it to Twilight's castle.” After Starlight spoke, Spike hurried onto Starlight's back just as the puppet ponies broke into the house. The next thing they saw was tree upon trees of apple trees, “Okay I've teleported us into the apple trees, looks like we're safe for now but we still need to make it to Twilight's castle.”

As Starlight finished, remembering their walk through an almost endless maze. Spike went over to his pillow, and saw the rift that brought Slappy.

“So that's what he came out of, and what our savior will come out of?” Starlight nodded as they began to watch it, and then the sounds of banging could be heard.

“It's a good thing they can't enter the castle, that spell can really use crystals to their almost full potential.” After Starlight spoke Spike began to get sleepy, and yawned. “Okay Spike you can sleep first, I'll keep watch so we know when Doji arrives.” Spike then passed out as Starlight watched the sky go blue in a matter of minutes, to think they had planned a way to get to the castle all day, and they end up using a different path.

Starlight then began to yawn as sleep began to take her, and her last thought had been about the rift. However not but two minutes after she fell asleep, the rift began to pulse and then close and with it the only hope for all of Equestria.

 (Well once again we are here, and at this point in time I think it would be best to give you the original basic idea/plot of part 1.)

“In a land where Ponies live and talk, our twisted Dummy joins them. Can they learn the truth before he takes control or will all of Equestria become his puppets.” (Season 1-5 only, season 6 isn't here, MLP)

(As you can see it was just the idea, the actual planning came about as the chapters were named. Each one either giving a hint or telling exactly what was to happen. However even with those the actual story was going to be made, as it went. Remember that there are even more foes to come soon, I don't even know how I'm going to get Act 3 to work or if it'll just be scraped and a new act 3 planned. Either way first the dummy, then the businessman, then the A.S.I, then the Timekeeper along with two other foes in the same Act as the Timekeeper.Then the final Acts greatest foe, which’ll change the game entirely. Soon……)

Chapter 5_Starlight’s Realization Part 1
When Starlight arrived she was told they were all at Twilight's Castle, Starlight then realized that Slappy got her out of the way. Though why was a mystery,since he showed up he has been creepy and villainy. Starlight then remembered what he said "I Thought you needed a friend, turns out you need a cult." Starlight thought back and knew Slappy was too far away from the page to know about that, and that page also had Starlight's Equal Spell.Starlight ran to the carriage, for she knew her timing needed to be excellent or things wouldn't end well. So as she boarded her flight, she wondered what this mysterious dummy wanted and why he felt so dark and creepy.

Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Discord were shot by a bolt. Discord remained the same, while the three Alicorn princesses became gray and lost their cutie marks to a picture of Slappy's face. Discord made a joke, and then realized that Twilight and her friends were in danger. Discord turned to Slappy with a mischievous smile and said "Bravo Slappy, but I don't have a cutie mark. Also I'll be taking the elements with me." Discord snapped his fingers and The Mane 6 was all inside a bubble including Spike; Slappy pointed his wand and said "This has been a lot of fun, but I won't allow you to mess up my puppets."Slappy fired a magic shot that went straight through and popped the bubble. Slappy giggled and said "Your move Discord." Before Discord could do anything Rainbow Dash and Applejack were hit, by the time Discord poofed everyone away with a cloud of cotton candy only him and Spike stood strong.Spike looked ready to cry but held it back, "Discord there has to be something we can do?" Discord scratched his head and pulled a meat cooker out of his nose; Discord placed it in The Mane 6's ears and said "Well this doesn't look good."

Meanwhile Starlight returned to the throne room of Princess Twilight, and saw Celestia,Luna and Cadence on the floor. Though what sent her crashing down was the grey color and the cutie mark shaped like Slappy's head, she crumbed into a heap and started to mutter "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Over and over again;Slappy came from behind Twilight's chair and pointed his wand at Starlight,Starlight looked up to a laughing Slappy and saw the beam of magic. When it hither it fazed through, Slappy did a double take and laughed. Starlight got up on all four hooves and said through sobs "That spell was designed by me, and because of that I'm safe even though you've modified the equal sign to be your head instead", Slappy straightened his suit and lunged for Starlight.Starlight quickly ran, and shot magic at Slappy only to see his wand deflect it. Then Starlight fell, Slappy stopped and looked around. He then proceeded to laugh, and when he got back to the throne room the 3 princess were up. Celestia spoke first "You may have our magic but not our free wills." The other 2 agreed and were shocked when Slappy laughed and said "Starlight’s spell makes others equal, but I added something extra the mark of the dummy.All I have to do is activate it and you'll be my puppet slaves, your minds will still be yours but your bodies will be all mine." Slappy pointed his wand and said "From Puppeteer to Puppet, now your wills belong to me hahaha." The wand glowed green and then their cutie marks glowed green,then strings flew from the sky with no apparent beginning and curled around their bodies. First their heads then their legs, their tails and body were next. When the strings stopped they became invisible, and Slappy looked at the princesses and said "Its time this kingdom of ponies gains a king, and for me to finally have slaves hahahahaha." Celestia, Luna and Cadence looked on with worry, while Slappy continued to Laugh.

Starlight fell and then found she was staring at a grey Twilight, when she saw Slappy's face on her hip she knew it was too late. Discord coughed and said "Well I knew I smelled a pony their" to which Spike growled "You did this!"......

Chapter 6_The Dummy Alicorns Part 2
Spike growled "This is all you fault, if you hadn't created or at least hadn't written that spell in your diary Twilight and everyone would be okay. She got the remote, she freed the magic and when we thought we had won. Slappy pulled out his wand, gloated and fired." by the time Spike finished he was in tears and crying. Starlight backed up and through a sob said "I'm sorry Spike, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for my past to creep into the future, I knew that dummy was trouble but Twilight was busy and when she returned she thought I was having a nightmare. When Slappy returned from Canterlot he lied to me and told me Nightmare Moon was back, I fell for it and wasn't there when Slappy attacked.". Now Starlight was crying and continued "By the time I realized his deceit I was too far away, I hurried back and found Celestia, Luna and Cadence on the floor grey. It was like my nightmares had come true, my two greatest mistakes was the town and ruining time and Slappy brought my town mistake back. He tried to use the wand but my spell was made to not work on me,he then tried to lunge at me and I was running from him when you two brought me here." By the time Starlight had finished Discord had blown his nose enough to make the Leaning Tower out of tissues. Then all of a sudden a head appeared over all of Equestria, Celestia said she was grey because she was sick and told the citizens to come to Canterlot for the royal crowning of the new king.All throughout Equestria ponies were mumbling and wondering what was going on,while inside the cave The Mane 6 awoke and strings came out of nowhere and attached to them. They all spoke as one "Thought you were smart didn't you Discord, well I'm the one pulling the strings literally. Now you, Spike, and Starlight are to surrender or all of Equestria will become my puppets, hahaha" The Mane 6 then disappeared along with their strings. Spike looked at Discord who plucked a piece of Rarity's mane out of nowhere and tossed it to Spike, who got fell into a look of puppy dog love. Until he realized where he was, and who he was with; Starlight looked down from the cave and said "We have to do something, they're all heading for the trap and if we don't do something all of Equestria will turn into puppets. Discord laughed and pulled a zipper down out of nowhere revealing his pocket dimension inside Equestria that had all kinds of chaotic things, he turned back and said "I have every confidence you'll win, bye StarkHeight and Spiker." Before Discord could zip it shut Starlight said "What about Fluttershy, she's counting on you to help.You're her friend, and you do love her don't you?" Starlight and Spike smiled a sweet innocent smile. Discord stepped out of the portal, zipped its hut and walked over to them. Discord then made a white glove appear and slapped them, then said "Let's get this over with I have a tea time with Flutters at 3 tomorrow.

When the sun rose from the sky everyone was waiting in the chapel to see their new king, meanwhile Discord, Spike and Starlight were heading for the throne room.When they got their Twilight, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie were waiting. They had creepy smiles on their faces, but their eyes were crying. Starlight told Spike and Discord to "Be careful, their bodies belong to Slappy but their minds don't. The eyes are a gateway to the soul,they've been crying because that's all they can do. Discord looked up and saw a shadow with 6 arms, and in the arms were puppet strings. Spike and Starlight looked up too, and realized that the shadow is the puppeteer today.

Twilight pointed to a screen, and Celestia was seen addressing the crowd of ponies. Celestia spoke while crying "Today we welcome are one true ruler, a being called a man from another dimension but is also a ventriloquist dummy."All the ponies started laughing thinking it was a joke, but when a creepy giggle started to go through the room. Everyone began to feel afraid......

Chapter 7_The Equestria Puppets
Everyone looked around, and then Celestia moved over to the wall with the other princesses except Twilight. The curtain moved and in a chair sat a ventriloquist dummy, everyone stared at it and one person called out"What's the dummy got to do with a king?" The Dummy slowly rose and opened his eyes, he looked at the ponies and said "Who you calling Dummy,Dummy Hahahahaha." The ponies yelped in fear, and those that don't began to wonder why it wasn't glowing with magic. The dummy hopped off his chair, and addressed his ponies "Hello slaves, names Slappy but you can call me The Puppeteer of Equestria." Ponies began to stand and head for the doors, but Slappy wasn't done. He pulled a wand with a green tip out of his suit and fired at the pony closest to the doors, the pony instantly turned grey and his cutie mark became that of Slappy. Strings from above flew towards him, and turned him into a living puppet. He was then floated over to Celestia, Luna and Cadence and pulled off their stickers revealing their Slappy Cutie Marks. Everyone gasped, and those who were standing galloped to their seats. Slappy giggled a chilling giggle and said "As you can see I'm the one pulling the strings,now it's time for the grand event." Slappy pointed his wand to the chandelier and fired, within moments everyone inside the castle were puppets. Slappy turned to the camera and said "For those that couldn't come today,I'm sending my puppets for you hahaha. Oh and Discord, Spike and Starlight you never stood a chance hahahahahahaha." Everyone watching gasped, and started piling stuff in front of the doors; while Discord, Spike and Starlight all looked on in horror.

Twilight turned the screen off, and all the mane 6 ran at Discord, Spike and Starlight.Discord made scissors appear, and snapped the Mane 6's cords. Before Twilight drifted into unconsciousness she said "A man is coming, a man with a book.The key to defeating Slappy is 2 days away, the book is coming. Save Doji,please save the book." With the final word, Twilight joined her friends in unconsciousness. Discord snapped his fingers and a portal opened Starlight and Spike looked though to see sweet apple acres, Discord pushed them through and said "I'm staying to confront the dummy, save the man named Doji when he comes." Then they were gone, Discord closed the portal and Slappy flashed inside the room. "Hello Discord, what did you think of my chaos felt good right?" Slappy giggled his creepy giggle and stopped when Discord started laughing, Discord wiped a tear away and said "Your weakness is coming dummy, the words your saying will be nothing but pages in a book soon. Slappy stood with his jaw open, then pressed a button on the Celestia's throne and as Discord fell to a room where his magic was useless Slappy said"Impossible, I burned it when I broke free. I ended up here when my plans failed and Doji bested me over in my dimension, but I suppose I shouldn't underestimate Spike and Starlight. Well bye Discord hahahahaha." Slappy hopped in his seat and looked down at the mane 6; he then used his wand to make new strings appear. As the mane 6 rise, Slappy laughs.

Spike and Starlight could only watch as the portal closed, and head Slappy's giggle.Spike looked at the barn and said "Come on we need shelter, it's only a matter of time before Slappy send ponies after us." Starlight nodded an agreement, and thought back to what Twilight said "Save Doji, please save the book." As Spike went to sleep Starlight cast a spell to lock the barn, Starlight then went to sleep and before sleep overtook her she thought one word. "Doji" that one word gave her hope, and Starlight knew the future could be saved. Only one day till Doji's supposed arrival, one day to hide before all madness breaks loose. Starlight was then overtaken by sleep,and dreamed a dream about her two greatest blunders and also her most recent third mistake.  

Slappy was heading for the crystal dungeons, with a smile...

Chapter 8_Epilogue/The Dungeons Glow
Slappy road Candace to the crystal dungeons, and arrived at Shining Armor's cell; the husband to Cadence, and the sister to Twilight. Instead of turning him into a weak puppet, he did something worse. Slappy locked him away so he could see just how much stronger Slappy was, so he could watch his loved ones become Slappy's slaves. Slappy stopped in front of Shining's cell, and said "Hello dummy, are you broken yet?" Shining growled "No you psychotic,manipulative, dark magic infused ventriloquist dummy. I'll die before I let you break me, my sister will defeat you." Slappy called out and Twilight appeared just like Cadence, Shining choked out a sob and said "When I break free you'll be thrown into a wood chipper, and burned until you're nothing but ashes. Slappy then proceeded to enter Shining's cell, and had a fireplace and wood chipper placed. Slappy then had the celled locked and unshackled Shining, Slappy whispered into his ear "Go ahead and try." Shining kicked Slappy into the wood chipper and watches as his wood pieces were thrown into the fire, but slowly black goo came out of the fire and reformed into Slappy on the other side of the cell. Shining's iron spirit broke; he crumbled to the ground with the realization that Equestria was doomed. Slappy left all the while giggling madly, and when he was gone Discord spoke up from his cell.  "Shining Twilight told me, Spike and Starlight something before she was lost. She had a vision that a man named Doji would come with a book, a book that could defeat Slappy. I sent Spike and Starlight away so they could find the man and save the day, all hope isn't lost yet." Discord then laid down and went to sleep, while Shining eyes glowed with new resolve. Before Shining laid down to rest he whispered under his breath "You may have won the battle Slappy, but you haven't won the war."

Starlight and Spike had to leave the barn after puppet ponies started to break inside,but once they got to Twilight's Castle the castle repelled The Puppet Ponies.With the day almost over Starlight and Spike prepared the rift area, and waited for the man named Doji. Once night fell Spike fell asleep, then Starlight.After an hour the rift pulsed, and started to close and with it the only hope for Equestria.

Chapter 9
Prologue/The Guard Locked Up

A short detour- A Narrator cloaked in shadows watched through his hand held mirror, as the rift in Equestria pulsed. The only distinguishing feature about him that's noticeable is his fanged smile, as he begins to recount the previous events and encounters that lead Equestria to its doom. The man cleared his throat and began. “Previously Slappy escaped his book prison and planned his revenge, which lead him to use Vladimir or Vlad for short as his pawn. The goal was for Vlad to use Doji’s wife M&M as a conduit, and resurrect Dracula one of the 13 monsters Doji faced in the past. Dracula is also Vlad's father, as well as the one who cursed Doji to be forever trapped as a vampire.” The Narrator watched from the mirror as the rift pulsed, and hurried his rehash of events along. “So after Doji stopped Vlad he tracked the puppeteer down, Slappy knowing his game had been beat ran. However thanks to Chaos and his dimensional mistake, rifts had begun to appear randomly. Different portals lead to different time periods, as well as different dimensions and even different realities.” The rift pulsed again, as if telling the Narrator to finish up his recap. “Okay fine, so basically Slappy the ventriloquist dummy fell through a rift. He landed in a land of talking ponies, not as a displaced because this universe doesn't do that. Not yet anyway, so once he arrived he fooled Starlight and took over Canterlot pretty fast actually. He then began turning ponies of the land into what he called puppet ponies. He also defeated the elements, princesses and even Discord.” The rift pulsed with impatience as the narrator continued to recount the past, even as the rift closed ever so slowly the man continued his tale. “So with Equestria under Slappy’s dominion he set out to puppet every pony, dragon, griffin and creature alike. How can he turn creatures into puppets you may ask? Well he first used a remote crafted from spare parts to steal the princesses powers, as well as Discords and then transferred a copied version of the powers to a technological wand which allows him basic magic. As for the puppet turning spell, it's a simple spell based off of Starlight’s sameness spell. Speaking of Starlight, She and Spike escaped and are currently waiting on Doji; a man who Twilight foresaw would come to imprison Slappy. Doji actually did find Slappy’s trail after the Vlad affair but thanks to a time glitch, he's three days late. Of course that's if he even makes it, for as we last saw the rift was closing while Starlight and Spike sleep.” The Narrator picked his tea cup up and took a sip, then he continued retelling past events. “So let's see is there anything I left out? Well M&M is Doji’s wife's name, which is actually a shorter version of her mother’s name. Opal is Doji’s technological friend, and past foe. He has since formed T Inc and runs the business with his business partner Doji; he actually uploaded his mind to what he believes to be an indestructible robotic body. Then Slappy is only ink, but the magic that holds him together is nearly unbeatable. He can be imprisoned, but so far he can't be killed. So now that we've finished our recap, let's continue with our story with whether Doji actually makes it, or if he gets trapped, inside the dimensional vortex forever. Spoiler Alert he does arrive, wouldn't be a story without the hero. As for me the narrator, I'm just a dimensional acquaintance of Doji’s. An acquaintance that holds a grudge against him and would love to see Doji burn and Equestria could burn too for all I care.” The man hidden within the shadows coughed, and as he spoke the last word in his recap. He watched the mirror begin to crack, and smiled a fanged smile only seen because of the light reflecting from his teeth. “Looks like I'll finally be free of that pest, finally Doji will either die or become a puppet. Either way I'll be able to finish what I started, and no one will be able to stop me this time around.” The mirror finally broke, and the cloaked man laughed.-End of Detour


The rift pulsed while slowly closing, and with it the hopes of all Equestria. Meanwhile inside Slappy’s castle the dummy sat in his throne, and awaited the news of whether the griffins had surrendered or not. All while Cadence, Celestia, Luna and Twilight stood to the side awaiting orders from their puppeteer.

“I'm bored again, I mean seriously is it too much to ask for something exciting to happen. I have all the power I could ask for, and I'm still bored.” As Slappy contemplated what to do Celestia weakly formed a telepathic spell, and from inside her mind she spoke to Luna.

“Hurry dear sister, we must connect to Twilight and Cadence at once.” As Celestia and Luna used their spell, Slappy finally decided on what he wanted to do.

“I'll go torment Shining for a minute, and then I'll go and begin puppet turning the griffins with my new modified spell.” As Slappy took Cadence away with him, Celestia and Luna finally connected to Twilight.

Celestia began speaking first inside both of their minds. “Luna, Twilight, we need to figure out a way to stop Slappy, if he gains the dragons and griffins he'll be practically unstoppable.” Luna seeing her sister's worries agreed, and waited for Twilight's input.

“We can't interfere, events must play out or Slappy may never be stopped. I know because I had a vision of a man, one that is similar to Sunset now. This man will bring with him a book that can trap Slappy; all we need to do is wait for his arrival.” Celestia and Luna discussed by themselves the ramifications, and finally reached a decision.

“You're right Twilight if the events you told us about are to come true, we must leave this mess to him. However I cannot say that I'm not worried for my little ponies, cause if Slappy’s foe fails or is just as bad if not worse. Then we are doomed, as well as all of Equestria.” As Celestia finished Luna began to sing a song inside their minds, followed by Twilight and then Celestia.


As Slappy neared the bottom of the stairs he noticed a stallion with his cutie mark, but his smile was a grin instead. Pulling his wand out of his sleeve, Slappy hopped off of Cadence and approached the imposter. “Well hello dummy, lovely weather isn't it mister grin.” As Slappy looked into the stallion's eyes, the stallion knew he had been discovered. Thinking quickly he bucked Slappy in the face and ran. Only to get caught by the princess of love, as Slappy’s head reformed from black goo and began to laugh. “Well I must say you’re a good kicker, I'd be beaten if I wasn't indestructible.”

The Stallion looked at Slappy with disgust and spoke in a broken tongue. “You have changed the ponies of this land, and we now starve from the lack of love you have created.” The stallion erupted in flames, and became a pony like insect creature.

Slappy laughed as the creature revealed its true form, and as he laughed the creature began to fear the strange dummy. “So if I understand this straight, there are bugs that appear to have the structure of ponies. They have insect wings, and feed off love. They also can transform into an alicorn, unicorn, pegasus and even a regular earth pony.” As Slappy reasoned and checked the facts the changeling shook with fear, realizing he revealed enough for Slappy to piece his kind together.

Slappy walked up to the changeling and looked into its eyes, before flipping a switch on his wand and scanned the creature. As Slappy looked at the readings, he made his final conclusions. “So you're in a hive mind, which means there's a queen. One I can bend to my will, and thanks to you allowing me to scan you my spell will now work on your kind. The scan function is new, made it for Discord to keep him powerless. So anyway does the queen have anything to say before you, the drone becomes my puppet?” As the drone pleaded with his queen telepathically, Slappy laughed. Finally the drone spoke, but in a more sophisticated tone.

“You think you hold all the cards, but my army is everywhere. You're doomed dummy, and when I grab you I'll tear you to shreds.” Before the queen could continued Slappy shot the drone, and made the drone become a replica of himself.

Slappy then gave the puppet orders. “Puppet go and collect the others of your kind, I will collect you all.” As the dummy laughed the puppet ascended the steps, while inside his mind he sobbed for the telepathic link to his queen was now broken. “Now where was I, oh yea Shining.” With that thought he continued on his way, once he arrived to the cell he spoke. “Hello dum-”

Shining listened as Chrysalis threatened Slappy, and heard the former drone begin his march above to betray his kind. Shining felt pity for the changeling, and pulled his broken chain closer so Slappy would pay. Finally he heard Slappy approach and then looped Slappy’s hand cutting it off and tossing the wand into Shining’s cell; leaving the dummy on the ground having stopped talking for the first time in a long time.

“You fooled me, you tricked me, and you stole from me. Shining Armor actually checkmated me.” As Slappy stared at his missing hand, it slowly reformed and then he began to laugh.

Shining grabbed the wand in his hooves and broke the magic inhibitor around his horn, quickly firing a spell at the door freeing himself. As he glared at the laughing dummy, Cadence stepped between them with an emotionless face. On the outside she was a soldier ready to kill Shining if ordered; on the inside she sobbed praying Shining would stay back and hoping Slappy would be forgiving.

As Slappy wiped a tear away from his eye, he stood up and brushed his suit off. “Well you don't disappoint royal guard, sister of the princess of friendship and element of magic, husband to the princess of love miss Cadence. You really got me, but all laughs aside I'll let you off with a warning because of how funny that was if you just hand over my wand now.” Slappy held his little wooden hand out, watching Shining the whole while.

“No.”

Slappy’s smile slipped. “What did you say mister captain of the royal guard?”

“I said no, I mean no and I'll never say yes to that demand. You're a manipulative, psychotic, evil, merciless, small, wooden, ventriloquist dummy with a superiority and napoleon complex.” Shining glared at the dummy as he spoke, and finally finished.

Slappy was ready to explode, but held his temper and tried to swindle Shining one last time. “Okay now that that's off your chest, let’s make a deal. Give me the wand and I'll let either your wife or sister free from my spell.” Slappy smiled knowing the bait had been set, however Shining’s reply came quick and was full of so much love and bravery that Discord nearly puked.

“My answer is no, I’d be handing Equestria over to you and you’d never let them go anyway.” Slappy nodded and then a flash of lightning occurred, within the dungeons down below lightning struck. The lights went out, and when they were back on Slappy held his wand and Shining had a new horn accessory.

“Well can't say I didn't warn you, however tell you what I'll free Twilight and give her to you. Then two can rot in this prison as I take over, and enslave everyone you both care about.” Slappy motioned for Cadence to charge the teleportation spell, and as she flashed away Slappy used his wand to throw Shining in his cell. Cadence returned shortly with Twilight, and with a flick of Slappy’s wrist Twilight was free and given a new horn accessory. Together Twilight and Shining hugged, and even as Slappy left laughing they held tight to each other worried for each other.

“I'm so glad to see you BBBFF; I thought I'd lost you to this war.” Even as Twilight cried into her brother's shoulder, Shining held his tears back and hugged her till Discord interrupted them.

“Yes now the twins can escape and take back the kingdom, or are you still hoping your vision will come true Twilight?” Discord watched as his mark pulsed but kept his magic frozen, as he waited for a reply.

“He’s coming Discord. He has to because he's the only one who can beat Slappy, because he's beaten him before and he can do it again.” Together Twilight and Shining continued their hug, as Discord watched his mark with impatience.


Celestia and Luna began to discuss events that lead them to their predicament, but were surprised to see Cadence appear without Slappy. However their surprise morphed into despair once she left with Twilight, cutting the telepathic link and leading them to believe Slappy was to use Twilight against Shining.

 A few moments later Slappy returned, and once Cadence was in range. Celestia included her, and was informed of Twilight’s freedom and imprisonment. Celestia knowing nothing could be done now began to wait for the man who was to save them all. As Slappy informed a guard of his departure, a trip to the griffin kingdom. However before Slappy even left through the door, he felt a shockwave of energy.

“That's not possible.” Slappy ran to the balcony and watched as the energy continued energy he felt from the rift three days ago. The same energy Celestia and Luna felt three days ago, but regarded as residual chaos magic from Discord. “He’s come to finish our game apparently, well let's give Doji a warm welcome shall we.” Slappy smiled as he used his wand to create a shadow of himself, and ordered it to find and kill Doji. The princesses could only watch as the shadow rose up, and formed a perfect replica of Slappy. The replica laughed and became a cloud that zoomed out of the castle towards Ponyville.
Slappy watched it speed on and laughed.

Twilight looked up, and then they felt it. Discord, Shining and Twilight all felt the wave of temporal energy from the rift. Twilight smiled knowing Slappy was about to be finished, while Discord laughed at the knowledge that Slappy was about to be made the fool. While Shining felt worry, worry about whether Doji would actually succeed.


The rift pulsed and began to close, and with it Equestria’s only hope. However as it began to destabilize Starlight awoke with a start, and quickly tried to stabilize it. Spike woke to the sound of drums, which quickly became the sound of someone saying “Welcome one and all to weirdmageddon!” and even as Starlight held the rift open. Spike saw more worlds until finally a world was seen that had Equestria burning, a man in a black cloak looked above the burning city of Canterlot to the rift and smiled a fang filled smile. The rift finally snapped shut, and then reopened spitting a man out with an overcoat and a book held tightly to his chest. However before the man even hit the floor a shockwave spread out from the rift, and traveled past Ponyville through all of Equestria. Doji looked up to see a unicorn and baby dragon and fainted, the dragon backed away slowly seeing the fangs.

“T-t-those fangs, I saw Canterlot in flames with a man similar to the one in front of us smiling at its destruction.” Spike took another step back as the man came too.
Starlight wanted to believe Spike, but this man had to be the savior Twilight spoke of.

The man came too and slowly picked himself up, he was tall. About eye to with Celestia, and as he looked around the room he smiled. He saw a book beside the unicorn, and with fangs bared he launched himself towards it. The unicorn screamed and fainted herself when Doji leapt towards her, she failed to see him go over her. Grabbing the book he barely broke the spine with his fangs, and sucked up the red color leaving the book The Theory of Temporal Anomalies and Theorems completely white.

Spike watched Starlight fall fearing the worse, but learned Doji’s true direction. “HEY! Twilight isn't going to be happy; there are only 5 books like that in all of Equestria. Now 4 thanks to you, now I'm going to have to listen to Twilight decide if she should color code her books or go by author or even title...” Spike realizing she may never return begin crying, Doji looked down at the dragon and spoke while patting its back.

“Why don't you place it where you think she would want it, I'll sit over by that table while we wait for your friend to wake up from her little nap.” Doji stayed true to his word and waited, setting the book he held in his grasp on the table and pulling another like it out on the table. He stared at them while Spike began reorganizing the shelves, just like him and Twilight used too.

Starlight woke up once more rubbing her head; she looked around and found Spike rearranging a shelf of books. Then she saw Doji sitting in a chair in front of the library's table, he was watching two books that appeared identical. She shook her head remembering the events of the past 3 hours involving the rift, Doji and fangs. She darted to her hooves and pointed her horn at Doji who looked up and smiled; he took an apple off the corner of the table and sank his teeth into it. Slowly the apple was bleached white, as if the color was sucked right out of it.

“Now that you're awake, let's discuss why I'm here. However first I need to know, have either of you seen a dummy with a napoleon complex running around?” Doji looked at the unicorn and baby dragon who nodded their heads, Doji then smirked and began explaining himself. “Okay three more things, first that apple is white. It's white because a dear friend of mine was able to synthesize a way for me to drink red, it wasn't perfect and it's only temporary. However till I return home I have no access to my blood substitute, so red color will have to do. Second my dimensional friends this book is Slappy’s weakness.” Doji showed a black book with a lock, the cover read Night of The Living Dummy. Starlight and Spike looked at the book, and the exact duplicate next to it, before Doji continued. “The second's a fake so it can't trap Slappy. It's in case I need an ace up my sleeve.”

Spike opened the real book to find it blank, turning each page he asked. “It's blank, every page is blank. How is this book a threat to Slappy?”

Doji smiled, leaning forward and exclaimed “INK!” Spike fell on his butt from Doji’s outburst, and watched as Doji smiled sheepishly. “Sorry got carried away, so anyway basically Slappy is ink. He can't be destroyed, he'll just reform later. So the only way to stop him is to trap him, turn him back into the words he really is.” Starlight nodded and Spike finally stood up nodding, allowing Doji to continue. “And third off I know that you both know my name, how I'm not sure. Unless Slappy told you, however I would like to know your names.” Doji leaned back giving a friendly smile, one that clearly held pain, loss, love and wisdom. Spike cleared his throat and spoke first.

“My names Spike. I'm Twilight’s number one assistant and friend, she's also like a mother to me.” Spike looked toward Starlight who finally relaxed and spoke.

“My name is Starlight. I'm Twilight’s personal student, friend and past enemy.” Starlight muttered the last part, not knowing why she said it to begin with.

“Hmmm a former enemy, your tone suggests guilt. Not just by your past with this Twilight person, but this moment as well. How I know is because the eyes are windows to the soul, stare long enough and secrets are bound to be revealed.” Doji smirked at Starlight's uneasiness and continued. “It would appear my foe or enemy, however you want to call him has escaped into your world and I'm here to take him back.” Starlight and Spike looked between each other, and began to tell Doji everything that had transpired once Slappy arrived until now. Doji looked at them smiling and said “Well then let's finish his game, and declare ourselves the winners.”

“Declare yourselves the winners? That sounds boring, the losers that failed and perished has a better ring to it.” Doji, Starlight and Spike looked all around for the voice, Slappy’s unmistakable voice. “Three heroes formed a group.” They continued to look all around as the voice continued to speak. “The group went out, and found the king.” Starlight charged a locator spell, as Doji yelled out.

“WHERE ARE YOU, YOU DUMMY?”

“The unicorn fell first, and the dragon fell second.” Starlight released her spell and as it flew around the room, the voice continued. “Finally the man remained, and he soon fell as well. However those three losers didn't get to join their friends, no they were thrown into a volcano. The group died a bunch of pathetic losers, losers who never stood a chance.” The voice began to laugh until the spell died out, and revealed the dummy in the window that appeared to be blinded by the spells light. Doji, Starlight and Spike all looked at Slappy, he sat up in the window where he sat the first time he saw the world outside.

“This ends right here and right now Slappy.” As Doji pulled Slappy’s book out Slappy’s grin grew, and he began to laugh. Doji used his vampire abilities to float up to him and opened the book, which did nothing. Doji looked at the book and asked with confusion. “How is this possible, you should be being sucked back into your book?”

Slappy smiled madly and spoke three words, three deadly terrifying words. Words he proved true as he grew to Doji’s full height. Words he proved true as his right arm was slowly swallowed by shadows and became a scythe. Words that struck Doji, Starlight and Spike with complete horror and surprise. As the words left Slappy’s mouth he raised his weapon, and struck it downward straight for Doji’s heart.

Doji’s Arrival/Slappy’s Mistake



“I’m NoT sLaPpY¡”

As Starlight shot off a spell, Spike blew his flames and Slappy laughed maniacally. All while Doji watched in slow motion as the deadly blade went straight for his heart, an attack that would kill even the strongest of vampires. As the blade slowly drew closer Doji saw only one option, and moved with speed only a vampire could possess, causing the scythe to enter his shoulder before being forcefully removed. As Doji fell to the ground Slappy looked at the wound, smiled and quickly used his deadly scythe arm to shield him.

Flames crawled over the scythe, as his arm broke in half. However as Slappy flickered he reformed his scythe arm, lowering his arm he spoke. “ImPrEsSiVe DoJi, YoU sUrViVeD a FaTaL bLoW a-and managed to see through my rouse.” Slappy smiled as he returned to his normal speech patterns, jumping down unto a shelf. Slicing said shelf in half Slappy continued. “These books are a reminder of what he had to suffer, but anyway my creator wants you three dealt with. His book burned, and the world under his shoes, boots? No. shoes because he doesn't wear boots.”

Doji coughed up blood in a slumped position as Slappy spoke. While Spike and Starlight rushed to him in a panic as Doji’s wounds began to heal, Doji smiled as he stumbled up onto wobbly feet. Once Slappy had finished Doji began, as Starlight and Spike stood still watching the scene play out. “So You're not Slappy, and by the way you morphed I'd say you’re his shadow maybe a copy of his shadow. Yes a shadow that has been copied and infused with a spell, a spell that apparently has given you life However more onto the point; Slappy won't get the chance to have this dimension under his shoes. Because one I won’t let him and two you're both just dummies.”

Slappy laughed exclaiming to Doji. “You're not as dumb as you look; I mean purple suit and purple overcoat along with fangs, and a lightning bolt thingy hanging from your white hair over your glasses. You're not exactly very scary, however calling my creator a dummy isn't tolerated and calling me a dummy won't be tolerated either. So since you are quite dangerous, I'm AfRaId YoU mUsT dIe.” Slappy growled the last bit as he launched into a fight with Doji, swinging his scythe arm in every spot Doji stood. As Doji moved quickly trying to avoid the scythe unarmed and weak, he knew he would soon slip up. So Doji waited quickly dodging every move until the time came. Kicking Slappy in the stomach Doji grabbed a book, just as the scythe went down and through the thick book getting stuck. Doji weaved to the left, and to the right as Slappy swung the scythe with the book at him. However even as his dodges got sloppy he knew he had given his new friends a clue, one Slappy apparently didn't realize. One clue he hoped they would figure out, before Slappy finally freed his blade and finished what he had started.

Starlight could only watch as the library was cut, stabbed and sliced to pieces, all as Doji moved quicker than the eye. She knew he was weak and would soon slip, however Shadow Slappy seemed impossible to beat. While she racked her brain trying to find a way to help Spike watched the unfair fight, one that could lead to their savior’s death. As Spike watched the dummy strike, and Doji move he remembered something about earlier, his fire caused the dummy to flicker. Spike watched the fight a bit more, as Starlight did and finally remembered Doji’s words about it being a shadow.

Spike looked at Starlight as he exclaimed. “Starlight it's a shadow, that Slappy is a shadow.” Spike coughed after exclaiming his find, as Starlight thought a bit more and pieced it together as well.

“Your right Spike, Doji figured it out first and told us; however if it's a shadow and by extant darkness. Then what goes good against the dark?”

Spike and Starlight both exclaimed “LIGHT!”

Starlight looked at Spike as a plan formed in her mind. “That's our way to beat it, try and help Doji with your flames Spike. I'll start trying to cast a brighter spell, one that will erase that shadow once and for all.” Starlight ran to the center and began charging her horn, while Spike ran towards Doji to help. All as Doji finally made a mistake and slipped up.

As the blade struck another piece of wall dislodging the book Slappy screamed in rage. “Why won't you stay still, this would be so much easier if you just stopped fighting me.”

As Slappy swung his scythe once more, Doji smirked while saying. “Evil always loses and even though you hold all the cards, this game is far from over.” As Doji went to dodge the next blow a book tripped him, causing Doji to stumble. Slappy seeing his chance took it, smiled madly, and sliced Doji’s chest; as Doji fell Slappy followed up with stabbing his scythe into Doji’s leg, with Doji down and nearly out. Slappy pulled his scythe out, preparing for the final blow.

“You know Doji; I thought you'd be a bigger threat. However Slappy must have overestimated you, so anyway on with the show.” As Slappy swung the blade straight for Doji’s neck, Doji smiled whispering.

“I guess I'm done, bye M&M, Opal, and Cragger. Goodbye everyone, maybe Slappy will be stopped without me.” As a single tear rolled down his eye, a coil of fire appeared and then a scream. As Doji looked up he saw Slappy’s scythe arm gone, and Spike blowing Flames at Slappy.

“You brat! You Brat! You Brat! How dare you interrupt the best kill Equestria’s ever seen!” Slappy yelled at Spike as Spike ran over to Doji, and as Slappy continued to yell Doji smiled. “Don't run away from me. You just destroyed my arm, so come back here you stupid baby dragon. Come back so I can return the favor you stupid dragon.”

“Are you okay Doji?” Spike looked at the wounds barely healing, as Doji coughed up some loose blood. As Spike waited for a reply Slappy continued to yell threats and clutch his stump of an arm, still not reforming because of the gentle glow from it.

Doji watch Slappy’s shadow smiling before answering. “I'm perfectly fine dear Spike, and while I do appreciate the save I have unfinished business. As does Starlight I presume, so if you would be kind enough to hand me a red book. I'll finish this one way or another.” As Doji looked into Spike's eyes, Spike saw a presence he thought he never would. From a creature like Doji, determination to set things right even at the cost of his own life. Quickly brushing his thoughts aside Spike grabbed two red books, and tossed them to Doji. Just as Slappy’s arm began to rematerialize from the shadows of the room.

Slappy watched as his arm fully reformed, and then his hand before speaking. “This game of ours ends here Doji.” Reforming his scythe, Slappy slowly backed into the shadows disappearing as he laughed. Just as Doji finished the second book, wobbling up onto weak legs, healing and almost ready to fight.

Meanwhile in the center of the room Starlight reading through a spell, hurried to form a light source spell strong enough to destroy the shadow. However weaving a bigger version of the spell takes time, and as she heard Doji’s whispered goodbyes her eyes fell open to Spike saving him. “Yes!

Oh thank you Spike, if Doji had been killed then all could've been lost for good.” As Spike ran to Starlight to help her, the spell reached its critical mass until finally it was released with a blinding glow. As two screams rang out, two blood curling screams.

As Doji looked into the shadows he saw the shadows move to one spot, creating a bigger dummy with a bigger scythe. Quickly running towards the dummy, Doji slid under him as Slappy brought his big toy down cutting into the floor and getting stuck. As Doji jumped to his feet kicking the demented shadow in the arm breaking his scythe arm and following another kick making him hit the wall. As Doji watched the last of his wounds heal Slappy flickered out, and then reappeared regular sized right behind him. With a thrust forward Doji saw a shadow like dagger sticking out of his chest, surprisingly just a few inches from his heart and other important organs. Coughing up blood once more Doji stumbled to a bookcase as the dagger faded, while Slappy approached with his scythe extended once more.

“It's time for the undead; to drop the un and become just the dead don't you agree Doji. I mean this has been truly fun, and annoying however all good things must end. Your life is no different, you will die eventually so why not now. Yes you’re immortal but everyone dies in the end, it’s like that old saying. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust.” As Slappy began to laugh uncontrollable Doji smirked and speaking up.

“Yes one day I'll die, and it may be by someone else's hands then my own but not today dummy. Not by your hands nor Slappy’s hands, not while I still have the strength to fight.” Doji quickly grabbing the dummy’s scythe arm plunged it into its stomach. As the weapon faded, the hole began to heal.

Coughing Slappy stumbled away from Doji wearing a look of pure hatred. “You really are a pain, one I can't seem to end. Maybe Slappy was right to overestimate you, because I've most certainly underestimated you.” Slappy reformed his scythe arm, looking at Doji and spoke one final time. “It's time for the curtain to close once and for all my fallen foe, it’s time for you to embrace the dark and be the hero who failed. The hero who failed, it has a nice ring to it doesn't it. This is clearly where you have always been heading, this path lead you here to die today at the hands of a shadow. So let’s close the curtains and end your story ONCE AND FOR ALL!” As Slappy charged towards Doji with his scythe raised high, Doji in turn charged towards Slappy with a gleam in his eye as a blinding light exploded throughout the room along with two screams.

Slappy watched as his ride arrived at his destination, the land between the dragons and griffins. Having had enough of the boring ride Slappy hopped out of his carriage, and began walking towards the fight. As his puppets fell before him, Slappy giggled snapping his fingers making two changelings appeared from hiding beside him. As Slappy approached the king of both dragons and griffins the royals ordered the dummy crushed, Slappy raised his head as a foot came down crushing him.

“Was that the creature that has taken over the ponies and changelings minds?” As the griffin king asked his question a giggle rang out, both royals could only watch as the black liquid crawled out from under the soldier's foot and reformed into the wooden creature.

“Well that was fun, anyone up for another round?” Slappy laughed as the dragon king marched toward him, the griffin king meanwhile watched as the last of the liquid slithered up the dummy.

“I don't care who you are, or what you want. You can keep the changelings, ponies and even griffins but you will not enslave my dragons. That’s my job dummy!” Slappy watched the dragon king, as the griffin king watched with anger.

“Hmmm you are quick to throw your partner into the lion's den, so to speak. So why should I let you keep your mind? I hold the keys to this dimensions and I fully plan on using them.” Slappy raised his arms as his wand was thrown to him, pointing it at the dragon king it beeped and then flashed all as Slappy laughed. “Yes you dragons have scales that are immune to magic, however this spell scans you to better adjust my favorite spell.” Slappy pointed his wand once more at the dragon king, as it began to glow green.

The dragon king could only watch as Slappy’s face appeared on his flank, and as strings from nowhere wrapped around him. The dragon king watched as the griffin king backed up, a look of horror on his face as he watched him transform into a puppet of Slappy’s. Finally the dragon king saw his color change to grey, and then it was done.

“How does it feel having your crown taken, and your people soon taken as well? All from a small wooden creature, who enjoys chaos and wants to watch the world dance. I don't know about you but I would be mad, to have everything stripped from me. That's why I do this, as revenge for being locked up. Revenge on everyone and everything, and once my accursed book is burned I’ll be forever free to make this world and the next into my personal fun house.” Slappy began to laugh as the griffin king began to flee, seeing his attempt at escape Slappy pointed his wand at a solider of his. “Where're you going king, the fun's just getting started hahaha. I'm laughing to death, don't you want to too. I'm driving myself crazy.” As Slappy laughed his creepy laugh and continued with his humor he pointed his wand at several other soldiers, making more puppet dragons and griffins.

Bringing his laughter to a close Slappy turned his head to his new puppets before addressing them. “Bring me the griffin king boys, it’s time I add another royal to my collection.” Slappy watched as the griffin king tried to flee, but was shot out of the sky by flames. Seeing his demise the griffin king began to plead, as he was drug to Slappy’s feet.

“Please Slappy spare me, I'll lend you my entire army. I'll help you conquer the land of Equestria, please just let me keep my body.” As the griffin king looked into Slappy’s eyes Slappy smiled and spoke five horrifying words, words that made the king's heart stop cold as he watched the wand begin to glow green.

“Where’s the fun in that?” Slappy pointed his wand and made his new puppet as the king screamed his last free scream. As Slappy watched his puppets he began to laugh with the knowledge that dragons, griffins, changelings, and all 4 types of ponies were powerless to stop him. However his laugh was short as he remembered that Doji was here, as well as his book. “Well I'm one step closer to complete control, hmmmm dragon king and griffin king bring me your species I have need of a stronger army. It’s time I make sure he stays dead. Cause while I hold all the cards, he holds the domino that could make my empire fall.”

As Slappy finished converting the last griffin and dragon he hopped upon his carriage for the ride back, but was caught off guard by an explosion of light from friendship castle. Pulling his wand out Slappy spoke into it with a hint of venom. “Half of my puppets are to head straight for friendship castle, kill Spike, Starlight and the one named Doji and bring me my book. I'm not going to let them escape me, even if my shadow has failed.” Slappy watched with a look of anger as dragons and griffins flew to friendship castle, as an army of unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies marched to friendship castle on orders to end the only three standing in Slappy’s way.

Doji saw only light and felt only pain as he began to believe that he was dead. As the light began to recede he turned to see the shadow burning and shrinking, until nothing of it was left but a puddle of black magic. Once the light completely died down Doji noticed his burned skin, and Starlight passed out in the center of the room. Along with a knocked out Spike. “Hmmm it would appear Opal needs to improve his everlasting sunscreen, it would also seem Spike and Starlight managed to do it. However apparently the spell took a lot out of Starlight, and was too bright for Spike to stay conscious.” As Doji looked at all the destruction he crawled to a shelf, grabbing two red books. As he bit into them his wounds healed fully, but his hunger only grew stronger. So Doji stood up and limped to another shelf grabbing another book, after the 6th red book he was full and could now begin sorting out the past hour. Quickly grabbing a couple of books, he made a halfway decent couple of beds. Although hard Spike and Starlight would at least be on something besides the floor, once laying them on the makeshift beds Doji began to pick books up and clean what he could. Picking half the sliced shelf up Doji found Spike’s pillow, however he had already taken care of them. So he finished up, and left to explore the grand castle as his two new friends slept through their exhaustion.

Spike looked around and saw he was on a book of beds, with Starlight beside him. As he scanned the area he remembered the fight, and the battle, as well as the light. Quickly raising up he walked over to the table to see both black books, but no Doji. He quickly ran into the hall and began searching until he found Doji in the cutie map room, Doji looked up and pointed to the dark see through clouds over most of the land.

“Slappy has caused a shift in this world's balance, causing darkness to take hold and Slappy is growing even stronger from all this chaos. Well not exactly the chaos itself, but its clear his control is spreading. In other words we have to finish this game soon, or Equestria may never be the same again.” As Doji stared at the map Spike came up beside him.

“It’s not your fault Doji, Slappy came here because of events you couldn't control. The only thing we can do is prepare to take Slappy down and his new empire too.” Doji looked into the eyes of the purple baby dragon and saw hope, kindness and faith. Doji sat down in twilight's seat as he began planning.

“Okay the end goal is Slappy being trapped inside his book, so basically from A to B. So it’s clear Slappy will be expecting us, so we will need to outsmart him but the question we must ask is how.” As Doji watched the clouds on the map an idea hit home, Doji stood up and quickly dashed to the library as Starlight awoke. Quickly looking through and tossing book after book Doji finally found his prize, a white book with the name The Magic Theory Set 1 Volume 258. “Yes this is it, this book holds the key. Quickly rushing back to the map room Starlight rose up and approached the rift, as the small puddle of black magic began shifting to the shadows before disappearing. 

As Starlight read the book in front of her, the rift pulsed with magic. “Okay so that should keep it from destabilizing while I scan it.” As

Starlight scanned the rift with resolve to finally get to the bottom of things, she finally found something. Consulting another book she was using she snapped out of her shock as well as the rift. With fear that their savior might be their doom, she quickly rushed to the map room finding Doji reading a page out of a white book while Spike watched the clouds.

Gulping Starlight spoke up as Doji and Spike turned their heads listening. “I know that rift isn't the only one; there are many more all connecting to your world Doji. So is this some sort of game or trap to you. You just send in the crazy attacker and then move in to finish the world off before moving onto the next?” As Starlight raised her voice Spike stared at Doji, who looked saddened and guilty.

As Starlight finished Doji cleared his throat and began “Yes the rifts originate from my dimension, but it’s not like what you think. A foe of ours tried to rip the fabric of our reality in half, nearly breaking time in our reality. The only reminder of his attack is the portals that appear from time to time, Slappy just so happened to run into one and has set his twisted sights on enslaving your people-I mean ponies.” Doji closed the book and looked at the clouds, creeping ever closer to covering all of Equestria. As Starlight watched his eye’s she saw what Spike saw, a man who is remorseful for what has transpired and is ready to risk it all to set things right.

Starlight realizing her mistake approached Doji and laid a hoof on his shoulder, as Spike did the same with a claw. Together they watched as some of the clouds began to fade, giving hope. As a horde of puppet ponies, griffins, dragons, and changelings all headed straight towards friendship castle on order of his malevolent majesty.

Slappy walked back to his throne after just arriving back, to find his shadow by the door in its shadow form. Rolling his eyes Slappy continued to his seat as the shadow crawled before the throne, seeing the original Slappy finally sit the shadow began to morph. Slowly the shadow raised and began to exhibit color, as its suit and red rose formed Slappy noticed it was missing a few details namely an eye and hand. Once it has reformed into an almost exact replica of Slappy it bowed before speaking in a pained rasp. “My king, my great creator, and my father, I come with news. However before I tell of my news I would like to point out, you have already gained a powerful army. So Doji won't be able to beat you after all, my king.” Slappy glared at the response, knowing that his shadow had failed but allowing it to continue. “I'm afraid I underestimated those underdogs, and have allowed myself to be beaten beyond just defeat but near death as well. Can you forgive me papa, I won't fail you again mark my words Doji will pay.”

Slappy smiled as he said. “You think you can return after failing me, you thought Doji would be easy? You thought wrong on so many levels, first and foremost you are missing a hand and an eye.” Slappy began to laugh as the princesses began to laugh too, as the guards also began to laugh. Wiping a nonexistent tear from his eye Slappy turned to Celestia saying. “Fire your brightest spell at my dummy of a shadow; I have no need for a shadow that can't swallow my enemies in its darkness.”

Shadow Slappy watched as the words left Slappy’s wooden mouth, words that in that millisecond kept repeating. Over and over and over again the words dummy of a shadow continued to play in his head. As Shadow Slappy was moments from extinction his mind finally snapped. With the smile of a mad man Shadow Slappy fell to the floor as the spell went over his head striking Slappy in the chest, turning him to ink once more. As Slappy began reforming his shadow laughed exclaiming. “Who's the dummy now Slappy?” The shadow faded into darkness escaping its fate as his words echoed throughout the room. “Who’s the dummy now?”

Doji paused from reading to look up and turned to Spike. “Hey what does it mean when your scales glow? I ask only because yours did while you were indisposed.” Starlight raised her head and answered.

“It states in a book I read recently that that is a sign that the dragon lord or king to put it simply is calling the dragons.” Spike and Doji stared at Starlight as the realization hit them.

“Slappy has attacked the dragons.” They all exclaimed as a window was smashed through to reveal a dragon with Slappy on his flank. Doji threw his book at it knocking it out, as the main doors broke open. Meanwhile the main entrance began to break as the flames broke through enchantment after enchantment. Starlight began casting a teleportation spell, as Spike and Doji barricaded the doors to the map room.

Finally the banging began outside their doors, quickly Spike grabbed Doji’s hand as Doji reached for the two books he had Spike fetch earlier. As the puppets broke through Spike grabbed Starlight’s neck as all three teleported, just as the doors broke down letting the killer puppet ponies, changelings, griffins and dragons through. While a shadow appeared behind the puppets and began to laugh before exclaiming.

“Bravo Doji bravo, you truly are a worthy opponent who I will most certainly have a chance to destroy soon enough.” As Shadow Slappy left the puppets began searching other rooms, not finding any sign of life besides themselves.

Twilight and Shining watched as their meals were brought down; by Cadence with a look of pure guilt she trotted back upstairs to her puppeteer. Twilight stared at the hay burgers as her brother watched the door, with hopes of seeing his wife again. Meanwhile Discord used his claws to win another game of tic tac toe, as a whisper began to sound. Twilight looked around and saw Discord playing another round, carving the board on the floor and placing his first X. As Shining walked to the tray and began to eat, neither noticing the whispers Twilight heard.

“Discord? Shining? Do either of you hear that? It’s almost like a whisper.” As Twilight put her ear to the floor the whispers grew louder, but were still too low to understand. As Shining looked at Discord, they both looked at Twilight with a look of uncertainty.

“Um Twily I think you need to rest.” As Shining went to lead Twilight to their prisons bed Discord spoke up.

“This is the perfect time for us all to go mad; our only hope is a person who may not even show up. As a demented dummy enslaves our world and makes me look like a fool, me Discord the bringer of disharmony brought down by a mere dummy.” As Discord raved on about being beaten by a dummy Twilight placed her ear completely to the floor. The next thing she knew she was gone, seeing his sister passed out Shining ran to hold his sister seeing her eyes were pure white. While Discord watched with fascination at the display, as Twilight began to chant in a voice that wasn't hers.

"The time is at hand, the beginning of the end. The dimensions will change, and the nightmare will begin." When the voice stopped, Twilight found herself in a black void. As the voice chanted its words once more, echoing from her own mouth in front of Discord and Shining Twilight began to light a spell. As her horn gave off some light she walked on a floor that was nonexistent, and as she aimlessly walked forward a light appeared in the distance. Running towards it she found a door, which began to chant the words she heard earlier. However with a new verse at the end. “Ending the darkness ends the light and only in shadows may we fight. Forever darkened, forever betrayed, the sins of our past will forever remain.” As Twilight opened the door she was surrounded by light, and saw only her world or at least what was left of it. Below her Canterlot was in flames, as the lands beyond held the bodies of fallen foes and friends. As she watched the castle fall tears began to fall.

“This can't be happening, this isn't real. This isn't the future, it can't be.” As Twilight turned away the voice began to speak again, but not as a whisper. It spoke in a formal tone, and while it was without a body it was clear who it was speaking too.

“Time is a foe that can't be beat, because the simple truth is. You'll either die the hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” The Voice made the platform Twilight stood on begin to fall as it continued speaking. “Friends, Foes, Darkness, Light, we are defined by our choices and follow paths that almost always lead to the same end. However there are those special few, who hold the power to make a change. Those special few who are the purest of light, or are the darkest but soon become the purest of light. Those are the heroes of the world, the ones who hold the brightest light even if it was born from shadows. However with that bright light, there comes a price. The price is a hidden darkness that once unleashed consumes them, leaving a hero the villain. Creating a powerful enemy of the light, all from a choice that most of the time isn't their own.” As the voice spoke its last word the platform fell to the ground, with Twilight on it.

Looking around Twilight ran straight to the throne room, to confront the demon haunting her vision. As she dodged falling buildings, and jumped over burning flames with tears the voice continued. “Only when we seek to purify the darkness do we understand the truth, that darkness and light are two sides of the same coin. That there is a battle inside us all every day, however there is never really a winner. The light either keeps the darkness at bay, or the darkness keeps the light at bay. Because neither can really destroy each other, because both need each other to survive. To create balance of sorts, however what would happen if your darkness escaped? What would happen if you were purged, and split into two people? One a being of light, and the other a being of darkness? A tale of brothers perhaps, or maybe something else entirely. Maybe it would be a tale of destruction, of the paths that lead to the end of all things. Cause as I mentioned earlier, you'll either die the hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” The voice trailed off and disappeared as Twilight neared the throne room, and a new darker voice was heard.

"My time will come to burn, and all shall bow before the king of reality.” As the voice began to laugh Twilight kicked the door open to find a man similar to the ones from the mirror world sitting in the throne. He wore a cloak made of darkness and had a smile that penetrated the shadows his face hid behind, as he rose from his seated position he began to laugh. Raising his hood Twilight saw her face, before it recovered its head with its hood. “Welcome Twilight it’s a pleasure meeting you, how do you like the new world? You know what they say about Phoenix’s they rise from their ashes reborn, and so will this world. It is being reborn in flames right now, and while your friends may be gone. You don't have to worry, because you'll be joining then really soon.

Watching the man hiding in his cloak Twilight backed up, watching his casual actions she realized something. “Slappy’s not as a bad as I thought, he doesn't want to kill only enslave. He wants to rule the land not watch it burn, here I thought he was the worst foe we ever fought but I was wrong. You're by far the most horrible and darkened foe I have ever met, and I will not let you continue this madness even if I have to stop you by force.” Twilight galloped towards the cloaked man as he snapped his fingers making tendrils of darkness grab and restrain Twilight. As she fought the tendrils she only grew weaker, looking to the man who was now walking towards her she yelled. “You won't win, I know this isn't real and even if this is the future I will stop you. You won't get the chance to destroy Equestria, even if I have to stop you myself.

As the man stepped in front of her he reached down, raising her muzzle to his cloaked face he spoke in a chilling whisper. “Heroes and Villains are nothing but stories, you lot believed in the magic of friendship but it could only do so much. I came here to take care of someone, and decided to punish him for actually caring for you lot. I mean seriously you're just a bunch of meaningless ponies, and if what you say is true and this is just some vision of the future. Then at least I'll get the satisfaction of killing you Princess Twilight Sparkle, not just once but twice.” As his smile opened two fangs could be seen, and as he lowered them to her neck Twilight used the last of her strength to blast his heart as his fangs punctured her. Slowly as her heart began to stop, from lack of blood. She watched the man fall over coughing and yelling out to who knows who. “I've come too far to die, I finally won and she bested me in her final breath. Curse you Doji, curse you Twilight, and curse everyone else.” As his breathing stopped Twilight finally closed her eyes, and awoke in the black void once more.

“There is always darkness; where there is light and only in the most desperate of times do true heroes reveal themselves. Because more often than not the moment that matters the most, the moment that revealed who they really were was often their last. I have shown you the future, one that you can change Twilight Sparkle. So trust your friends, protect your land and prepare for the coming Storm.” As the voices faded away Twilight yelled out her finally few words inside the void.

“Who are you, and why are you helping me?

“Who I am doesn't matter, as for why I’m helping.  Where’s the fun in watching you fall before a foe, a foe none of you could possibly understand.”

As the void began to fall apart Twilight yelled out two final words, even as she began to awake. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome Twilight; please tell Doji that he---.” As the voice began to fade Twilight returned to the waking world, only hearing part of the message for Doji.

Shining and Discord watched as Twilight began to stir, until she awoke with a jerk. She looked to Shining, and then to Discord before explaining. After recounting her vision of a cloaked figure, who wore her face for a bit. Discord listened with great interest until the bit about the storm.

Snapping his paws Discord waited till Twilight stopped, and before speaking cleared his throat. “So you had a vision of a being cloaked in shadows, who wanted to watch the world burn? Also the voice that showed you this has told you to prepare for the cloaked man, and has called the coming of him as The Storm?”

Twilight nodded as Shining thought it over. “Okay so once Slappy is beat Celestia and Luna will need to be notified, and preparations for a powerful enemy will need to be made.” Pacing in place Shining continued to think about the implications of another threat, as Discord watched the wall wondering where he went wrong. While Twilight began to try and remember more details of the man, as well as what the voice wanted Doji to know. As a shadow on the wall began to quietly giggle before leaving the dungeon.

“Slappy thinks he can write me out, well I'll show him. I'll be there in his final free breath, to laugh in his face as I burn his book with him inside. I'll show you who the real dummy is father HAHAHAHAHA.” As the shadow laughed with the knowledge that his revenge would soon be had on both Slappy and Doji, Twilight worried for the future of Equestria.

The Citizens Attack



Opening his eyes Doji saw only a swirling vortex, watching as he continued to fall he began to think. He thought about all he had seen and lived. While also knowing that whatever lay beyond the vortex, would most likely be under Slappy’s control. Falling through he began to see openings inside the vortex, all along the sides there were worlds unlike any he had seen before. Watching as he passed multiple exits he finally saw one ablaze, watching as the world burned he noticed a lone soul running straight to a castle. Nearing the opening Doji pushed through with the goal of saving the creature, who appeared to be in distress?

Landing on the ground Doji looked around and saw fires, as well as bodies all around. “What could have caused this much damage? What could have killed so many lives?” Looking at the destruction all around him Doji found the path the creature took, running in that direction he found it had entered the castle. Careful not to kill himself by being crushed, Doji slid by the door and ran to the doors at the end of the mostly intact hall. Carefully cracking it he saw the creature, a purple alicorn mare with a star on her flank. Looking in front of her he saw a man sitting in a broken throne. His head was hidden behind a hood that cloaked his face in shadows. As the flames roared from outside the throne room, and pieces of rubble fell from the hallway Doji watched the confrontation.

“Welcome Twilight it’s a pleasure meeting you, how do you like the new world? You know what they say about Phoenix’s they rise from their ashes reborn, and so will this world. It is being reborn in flames right now, and while your friends may be gone. You don't have to worry, because you'll be joining them really soon.”

As Doji watched the man he could feel the darkness in the air begin to move, he watched as the man stood and removed his hood revealing Twilight's face. As he smiled with her smile she stood tall, as he replaced his hood Doji could see the shadows slowly move toward the alicorn. However before Doji could act the alicorn spoke and Doji found they couldn't hear him.

“Slappy’s not as a bad as I thought, he doesn't want to kill only enslave. He wants to rule the land not watch it burn, here I thought he was the worst foe we ever fought but I was wrong. You're by far the most horrible and darkened foe I have ever met, and I will not let you continue this madness even if I have to stop you by force.”

Upon hearing Slappy’s name Doji recoiled, before pushing with all his might. As he pushed he tried to piece events together, realizing he was so very late Doji finally quit. Watching as Twilight galloped towards the man with her horn glowing, Doji saw the man snap his fingers causing tendrils made of shadows to wrap around her. As all four legs were bound, her horn was covered as well. Seeing her struggle brought Doji to the brink.

“No no no. It can't end like this; I can't let anymore souls die because of that dummy.” As Doji used all his strength to punch the door, a voice chuckled before speaking.

“Force won't do any good, you’re meant to watch events play out. No more no less, I'm truly sorry.” As Doji watched the alicorn struggle she began to speak.

“You won't win, I know this isn't real and even if this is the future I will stop you. You won't get the chance to destroy Equestria, even if I have to stop you myself.”

As the man bent down to finish her Doji cried out. “Please let me in, this isn't right. This is all my fault. Please let me fix it, please I can't let her die.” The man froze inches from Twilight’s neck as the disembodied voice responded.

“I'm afraid she must Doji. This moment must happen, for that is her past self and she must know what is coming to stop this from ever happening”

Looking inside the room Doji saw the man’s fangs still inches from Twilight's neck, frozen in place. “Where are you?”

“I'm everywhere and anywhere Doji, I hold untold knowledge and have seen the damage Slappy will cause. Has caused from Twilight’s perspective, see this is my gift to her. A chance to rewrite history, and stop the man under the hood.”

“So you're allowing a past Twilight to see the events of the future, so she may stop it?”

“Exactly Doji, however your here because of how you play a part in this. Your story as well as hers connects in many ways, one way is by The Storm.”

Looking into the room once more Doji saw the figures begin to move. “What storm?”

“The Storm is a point in both your stories that lead to this point. The Storm started when Slappy arrived, and will end here.”

As Doji watched the frozen figures began to move faster, he saw the man bite the alicorn while she fired a spell straight through his heart. As she lost more and more blood the man fell over coughing, clutching where his heart should have been he began to curse the ones who wronged him. Until finally both the man and Twilight were dead. As the alicorn faded away the doors opened to reveal the body of the one who was to cause so much pain. Looking into the hood Doji saw only darkness, and as he bent down to remove the hood he saw his face. Replacing the hood the voice continued.

“A world in tatters, a dozen friends lost and a fate as old as time. Hidden behind a mask that reveals your face, that is this man's power.”

Doji turned around and saw the shadows begin to combine, as they crawled up the wall and took shape the voice continued.

“A fate that will lead both of you to confront the darkness. The Darkness that is sinking into Equestria, and the worlds beyond.”

As the shadow took shape it smiled before speaking. “It's been awhile Vampire King, how's it been? Feels like forever since I last saw you, oh wait no it was just a few minutes ago.” As the shadow began to laugh it moves along the wall until it reached curtains, pulling the cord against the wall a statue was revealed. As Doji looked upon his future self the shadow began to peel itself from the wall, morphing into a 3D figure of a man the shadow laid a hand on the statue as Doji backed away.

“How can this be? What happened to me?” As Doji stared into the horrified face stuck on his future selves face, the shadow began to laugh.

“This was all thanks to you two, and now the best part is I'm free from my body. I'm pure darkness now, and I'll celebrate by consuming all that remains in internal shadows forever.” As the man made of shadows touched the statue, shadows crept over it until nothing was left. Doji could only watch as darkness spread out from the shadows feet, as the throne was swallowed whole Doji ran.

Watching as the castle and fires began to disappear, Doji continued on until time froze once more. “This is a future where the man of darkness controls all, and later consumes all. It was only a matter of time before his dealings with darkness consumed him, so now you see what must be stopped?”

Looking around Doji watched as a war appeared to happen, a war between what was left. Watching them struggle, he bowed his head before speaking. “I never could have known this was nothing like I thought it would be.” Smiling Doji began to laugh; as he laughed the voice questioned his sanity. Until Doji wiped a tear from his eye, and withdrew Slappy’s book. “This future isn't set in stone, and while I have faced many foes. I know I'll face many more, there's always light in the darkness and I'll prove to you. Whoever you are that good always triumphs over evil, and that I'll never give up until my final cursed breath.”

The voice spoke in a whisper. “That final breath may be sooner than you think.” Doji smirked as the voice returned to the normal talking volume. “There's still time to set things right, events are only just now starting in the present, the dominos haven't all fallen yet. Hurry Doji, leave this future and set things right.” As time resumed Doji continued forward, racing to the rift he saw the shadow man rise in front of it. As he smiled Doji saw tendrils rise from shadows all around him, just as he believed he had lost he saw a bright glow.

Looking around Doji saw the tendrils were gone, and a blue dragon with a flaming sword locked in a sword fight with the shadow man. Rushing towards the dragon it yelled back. “STOP.” Before clashing it's sword against the shadows sword. “My name is Ember the dragon lord, my friend Spike-” As a tendril grabbed her leg she sliced it in half just as her opponent's sword went down, catching herself and stopping the blow she continued. “-told me the great warrior of Equestria might one day return. That if he did than to protect him, save him so he could save us all. So go, be the savior you were always known as. Spike gave his life for me, and now I am giving it for him.” As Doji watched her struggle he nodded before jumping into the rift, as he fell he heard a scream and then felt something grab him. Looking at his arm he saw a tendril wrapping around and pulling him back, as a mouth appeared it began to speak.

“This isn't over Doji; I want the pleasure of killing you twice. See once you’re gone I will then consume more than just Equestria, I'll consume everything you love. It's time for me to get my revenge, along with Dracula's.” As it pulled Doji closer to the opening Doji reached into his other pocket, grabbing a safety tool he questioned the tendril.

“Who are you, what does any of this have to do with Dracula?”

“What does any of this have to do with Dracula? Nothing really, I suppose I thought helping a friend would make me feel better. However I'm the guy who you left to rot forever in a void, it's always your fault.”

“I suppose the rift has given you a version of me who hasn't met you yet, but I suppose that doesn't matter now. All that matters at this moment it this. Checkmate Shadow!” Raising his arm, Doji fired his flare gun scorching his body but destroying the tendril.

As the tendril burned away the disembodied voice spoke once more. “Destiny's aren't set in stone; neither is the prospect of good and evil. We all do what we feel is right, even at the cost of another life.” As Doji fell, his body healed, and looking at his watch he saw time fast forward 3 days. Blinking once, twice and then three times he found himself in front of a baby dragon and unicorn all as a laugh echoed inside the rift along with one last sentence before it closed. “Everyone has darkness inside them including you Doji.”

Awaking from his daydream, Doji looked at Spike wondering what future awaited them all. Grabbing his overcoat Doji walked down the hall, and heard a giggle from the library. As he opened the door, he heard Starlight scream. Awaking on the floor of the town hall Doji rushed to Starlight and began trying to wake her, looking around Doji remembered they had escaped the puppets of Slappy only moments ago. As Starlight began to wake, Spike also began to stir.

“Ah. what happened?” Spike asked as he held his head. Checking to make sure he still had the books, Doji began helping Starlight up. As she began to remember, Spike finally did. “Oh that's right we did a fast teleportation spell, well that could've went a lot worse.”

“I'm sorry you guys, my mind is fuzzy but I remember trying to find the quickest destination. Far enough from the army but close enough to make it too. However my memories of this place aren't that great or should I say picture perfect. So the trip was less than comfortable, but now we can head to Canterlot and stop that dummy.” As Starlight checked the exit, Doji smiled at her resolve and together they exited and began their journey through the everfree forest. The most dangerous and uninhabitable place in all of Equestria, which is also home to Zecora.

*2 Hours Later*

“NEVER TOUCH THE PLANTS DOJI!”

“HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT YOU HAD PLANTS THAT WOULD KILL?” Running as fast as they could Starlight shot spell after spell at the vines, all as Spike held onto her for dear life. While Doji turned the map sideways and then upside down, before flipping it back. “If you’re going to make a map, at least try to make it understandable. This writing is complete chicken scratch, I mean come on at least try and make it understandable.” As Doji turned, so did Starlight and Spike, just as a wood wolf jumped at them. Ducking it landed behind them, only to be caught by the vines. As Doji handed the map to Starlight, a howl rang out as well as a cry.

*3 Hours Later*

“DOJI WATCH OUT FOR THAT-.”

As Doji rose up from running straight into a cliff, he turned to find they were surrounded by creatures made of wood. Thinking quickly Doji pulled out his empty flare gun, and instructed Spike to blow. Firing the trapped ball of fire the wolf creatures left, pulling out the map they got from Zecora 4 hours ago Starlight found they just needed to climb the cliff to escape the Everfree.

“Well that was a fun 5 hours wouldn't you say?” As Doji smiled at his funny remark, Starlight stomped his foot and spike stomped his other foot. “Okay okay, maybe going down the path with signs of death was a bad idea. However I was under the impression we needed to go straight, not loop here and there.”

*2 Hours Later*

“So this is the Canterlot Castle? Well it's not half bad, so now this is my only question where is the library?” As Spike and Starlight grumbled at his unending energy, they began carefully heading towards the library. Turning the final corner they found themselves face to face with the citizens of Canterlot.

“I blame you Doji.”

“Why blame me Starlight?”

“Because if you had hoofed the map to me earlier, we would’ve gotten here sooner.”

“Starlight, Doji we have more important things to deal with then getting on each other’s cases.”

“I personally agree with the baby dragon.”

Starlight looked at their savior and wondered if they really even needed him, or maybe it was the exhaustion and tiredness from today's events that was getting to her. However reflection time needed to wait, what with 20 citizens of Canterlot ready to behead all three none-puppets.

*30 minutes later*

“Shouldn't the sun be going down by now Starlight?”

“Normally yes but Slappy now controls the sun and moon, so maybe he wants us gone before another day begins.”

“Well at least we were able to get here inside the library, what were you wanting anyway Doji?” Spike watched as Doji smiled at his question, thinking back to how Starlight froze the citizen’s hooves and how they arrived here.

“Well dear Spike there's a book here that can help us, also have you noticed how some books are gone? The reason is because Slappy is building himself a book throne, one that is a reminder of what he no longer has to fear. I'm depositing a book for his throne, and taking a book. It's really simple in all true reality dear Spike, and-. Yes this is it; here Starlight read page 269 should be the second spell if I'm not mistaken.” Tossing the book to Starlight, she caught it and began turning the pages. While Spike watched Doji as he laid their salvation among other book, before placing the other black book in his main pocket on his coat.

“Doji what is this?”

Doji smiled before speaking “Spoilers dear Starlight, Spoilers.”

“Wait how did you know it was here anyway?”

Doji smirked before pointing to the book and saying. “Because Twilight had an exact copy, that might I add was delicious.”

Spike and Twilight both stared at the red cover of the book, before Starlight reread the spell a bit more. “This spell could work, but it looks very complicated. Why didn't you show me it at the Friendship Castle?”

Doji chuckled as he began walking to the door, before replying with. “Because it's more fun this way, and I had a delivery anyway.” Opening the door Doji barely blinked before he was blasted into a bookshelf, and found himself with a hole in his body inches from his stomach. “Why is it I'm always getting stabbed or blasted, cooked or burned here?”

Starlight dropped her book, as Spike watched Doji fly. As the smoke cleared Doji, Starlight and Spike all saw 5 mares and a floating TV screen. “Hello Doji my old friend, did you miss me?” As the dummy on the screen laughed, Doji coughed and found himself weak. As Starlight took a defensive stance, Spike tried to help Doji up. All while the dummy smirked before ordering his fallen foes to be exterminated.

*2 Hours Before*

“Come puppet, I know the time of my enemy’s arrival is soon. So I want to prep for their doom.” As Slappy walked towards the door the puppet followed, while its eyes shimmered green for a moment. Following the path to the dungeons Slappy pulled out his wand and checked the energy readings, stashing the wand back inside his sleeve Slappy commanded the puppet to open the door. As he walked down the steps the puppet smiled as its horn glowed green, and the door shut behind it.

“Well isn't this a surprise, little Clappy has arrived to put on a jolly good show.” As Discord smiled at the approaching dummy, he saw the puppet stop by the door as green flames over took its body. Returning his gaze to Slappy he watched as Slappy scanned the prison bars, and then turn his light bulb to blue. As the tip touched the bars a magic inhibitor worked its way into the cell, infusing the bars and very floor with magic canceling properties. Slappy backed away with a smile, as he watched Discord's mark finally fade. “No. You didn't just do that, you’re not that clever. I'm the clever one, I AM not you.” As Discord snapped his talons sparks went off, but no dancing pigs.

“Works like a charm, your natural chaotic energy can't be contained forever. Well not sealed anyway, so I bottled you with your powers.” As Slappy watched Discord slump to the ground, he turned to face Twilight and Shining only to find a very large bug in his way. “Who are you?”

“I'm the queen who has come to crush the bug who dares control her hive, I'm Queen Chrysalis and I never lose.” As the dummy pointed his wand at her, she pointed her horn at him.

“Actually we beat you before, remember the wedding.” Twilight spoke up from her cell with her brother, as everyone turned to her she continued. “You locked Cadence below the castle, and took her place. I knew from the start you weren't her, yet no one believed me. You locked me up with her, the wedding continued up until the point me and Cadence arrived. I and my friends failed to get the elements of harmony, but Cadence’s and my brother love was so strong it blasted you and your hive into the badlands.” As Twilight finished the dummy smirked, before laughing while the queen shot death glares at the alicorn.

“The magic of friendship failed, but the magic of love succeeded. Oh this is rich; I'm in a world where emotions are truly weapons. However this proves my reasoning, that you lot are not worthy of freedom. You fight, enslave and kill. I bring peace, complete freedom and everlasting life. Who wouldn't want that?” Slappy smiled as Chrysalis stared at him, along with Discord, Shining and Twilight. “Your right I do it out of my hatred and pure want for revenge, but hey nobody's perfect.” Pointing his wand at Chrysalis Slappy fired, as Chrysalis fired her beam of magic. As the two energies collided waves of unstable energy crashed around the walls, until finally Slappy pressed a button releasing the full power of his weapon.

Chrysalis could only watch as the beam got closer and closer until finally she was hit, she could feel the dummy taking hold and in one last ditch effort teleported away with half a cutie mark on her hip. “Mark my words Slappy, this isn't over.” As she glared at her mark, Chrysalis fell unconscious while her mark glowed a faded green.

Slappy stared at the scorch marks before laughing at her apparent demise, as Twilight and Shining stared at the marks with dread. Meanwhile Discord watched the marks with interest, piecing together what really happened. As Slappy wiped a non-existent tear from under his eye, he approached Twilight and Shining.

“What do you want now?” Shining spit the words out with enough venom, to make the dummy place his little wooden hand on his chest.

“I'm wounded Shining. I only wanted to read you two a bedtime story.” Smiling Slappy pointed his wand at Twilight before continuing. “Once upon a time there was a poor wooden boy, whose only fault was he wanted to play games. He tries to play nice, but was pushed away.” Firing at Twilight, Slappy continued as she fell asleep while Shining tried to wake her. “Feeling hurt he set out for revenge, however he was betrayed and as such he set out to make the world pay.” Firing at Shining he watched the stallion dodge, continuing his story Slappy smiled. “The wooden boy would be released and almost get his revenge many times, however every time a hero would stop him. Finally he escaped into a world with magic, and set out on a quest to finally get revenge.” Firing at Shining Slappy’s smirk vanished. “Stay still dummy, I'm almost at the climax.” Firing one last time Shining felt himself fall, as both brother and sister slept. Slappy used his magic to send them to the throne room, before using his magic to conjure three floating TVs.

*30 Minutes Before*

As Slappy watched Shining and Twilight begin to stir, he saw them notice their chains. “This is my time, I won't lose.” Looking forward Slappy addressed 5 mares, all while Twilight starred with tear coming out of her eyes. “I want you five to go to the library and kill Doji, Starlight and Spike. End the ones who stand in my way.” As they marched out with a TV behind them, Slappy smiled at the camera by his throne. “The Climax of my story approaches, and it'll be a real doozy.” Laughing Slappy watched as Twilight and Shining could only look upon the monster known as Slappy, as Slappy magically made another TV he saw Doji. “Hello old friend, let's tango.” As a laugh rang out so did the word Exterminate.
