Sky Ranger, and a planet full of ponies. Will he come home? (Inspired by Starfall)
Thank you all for the Feedback. Ive just realised i've made too many mistakes in this. With random appearances just coming here and there. Enjoy the rest of the story. And stay tuned for a remake. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sky Ranger is not your ordinary Human, he travels across worlds, while others just stay around Earth and Mars. Its the year 2784, and he's a Star Ranger, an inter-galatic force protecting the Milky Way. But when he crash lands his best ship, The Aphelion, Onto a unexplored world completely filled with fluffy rainbow animals. Will we stop the war from destroying eveything on this unknown planet and come home?, or will he destroy everything?
Lights Flashing. Alarms Beeping. Just a normal day of a Star Ranger.
I was reading a book, not just your normal story, but a instruction manual for my sorta new ship. The Aphelion. Custom built with dual Pulse engines, plasma cannons and a custom-made AI. But the alarm system was malfunctioning. So after a quick peek at the manual, I flipped a few switches and with a flick of a hand, the alarms and sirens were off. "I need to get that fixed" I sighed. I looked at the small display screen in the middle of the control panel. It said I was about 300,000 Kilometers from Earths' surface. And showed a neat picture of the planet I was currently on.
"Sky, are you there?" my speaker bleeped at me.
"All fine here, Control." I replied, Damn control tower, never letting me have some quiet time, at least I might get some on this planet I'm about to explore. "I'm just, doing some extra check ups."
"Well, we heard a alarm going off, what was going on about that?"
"Nothing." It was nothing, just a system error.
"Well, your cleared for undocking." Finally, time to leave this damn space station and pulse drive to Saturn's Warp Gate.
"Copy that Control, undocking now." Of course, I'm always scared of undocking, one time I nearly blew off my airlock from it. Hopefully this time that won't happen. "Undocking successful, see you around, Ranger." And just like that, I was out.
After a quick checkup, I was ready to jump towards Saturn. I flipped a lever, turning on the AI. "Good morning Sky" She replied.
"Morning Aps." I said quickly, still fiddling with the controls. Ah, A.P.S, Standing for Automated Piloting System, custom built by yours truly. The AI core is embedded into the ship, making it not a easy target, including if they take out the pilot, Aka me.
"I've checked all systems and we are ready to jump, please buckle up, I don't want you banging your head again." APS replied. Damn AI, making lots of jokes, at least she's better company then Control. As soon as I buckled up, APS turned on the warp drive and we started heading towards Saturn. Of course, we had system problems.
Although I've had constant system checks. we always seem to fail. "WARNING, SYSTEM FAILURES" APS shouted at me, damn AI. With the god damn warp drive, felt like the I was on a broken roller coaster. Nearly Vomited, but once the damn warp drive ended and we arrived towards the Saturn station. A fully automated station with multiple docking ports, two hangars for repairs, and a full on bar.
"Just what I needed" I said, hearing APS sigh. Thank god this mission is quick, otherwise I'd be stuck with her, I swear, I'm changing her P.S. (Personality System) later.
"I'm preparing to dock" APS said. And she lied to me, of course i had to take control, she was using all of her processing power playing her video games, of course I was going to remove that, because one slip up and I could damage my ship and the station. But I let her do her thing. But next time she's flying. After a nearly unsuccessful dock I was able to hop out of my ship and get that beer I wanted, but like always, APS rushes me, even though shes playing "Games". After I finished my beer, I was able to hop into my Next-Gen Hi-Tech P.R.A.W.N. Mobility Suit. It comes with the ship, including the S.V.U, the Small Vehicle Unit. Its just a Hi-Tech motorcycle, but the name sounds cool. "I've had a check through the system, and I didn't find any errors in the system" APS said.
"Maybe you were too busy playing your games." I heard her sigh when i said that. Of course that made me smirk. I always enjoy making her annoyed at me, every time she sighs, I know I must of done something to piss her off. Anyway, we undocked without any issues, and headed a few kilometres from the station towards the massive warp gate. Filled to the brim with control stations, missile launchers, plasma and laser cannons, including the massive colony built inside of it. One shot from one of those cannons and my ship would become a piece of floating scrap in the middle of space, including no clue what would happen to me, I guess I might just become a piece of human jerky. It seemed that a massive dreadnought had come by recently, with the mass of small towing ships just docking back onto the gate. "APS, we good to go?" No response, of course, she was playing her damn games. With the mass amount of power that has to be pushed into my ship at the right time, I could slip up and destroy my entire ship. The AI core should be doing this, but i'm more "professional" then that. of course, I had to talk to the control here.
"Ship, Identify yourself."
"This is Sky Ranger of the SR Aphelion, requesting a warp to.." Dammit. what was the planet called again?
"Warp to?" Control replied.
"Star 047854."
"Copy that, good luck out there Ranger, and we'll see you in a few hours."
"Copy that". Thank god I'm getting payed for this mission, its not easy just heading to a planet and heading back, on the way you can encounter Sentinels, pirates and massive alien lifeforms. Thank god for mining. otherwise i'll have to constantly refuel at the nearest fuel stations.
"APS, start up the warp drive." I said, clipping my belt, so I won't hit my head into the canopy and send the ship into the depths of space. "Requesting external power into the hyperdrive, over."
"This is Control, launching your hyperdrive in 3, 2, 1, Warp." And then, the mass amount of force pushed onto me is almost devastating, without protection it could rip my ship and myself to shreds, and then I'll be some cooled human noodles warping into space, well, that was what I thought was going to happen when I heard the alarms going off.
"WARNING WARNING" APS screamed from the speaker, the entire ship shook, and I thought that was it, I was a goner.
Rainbow Dash was sitting on a small cloud hovering above the ground. She was extremely bored because Applejack ran off to do some work around her farm. "You alright Dashie?"
Pinkie Pie had ran over, and started to talk to her, she would of done something with her, but currently everypony seems to be working.
"I was fine, until you came over." Rainbow Dash quickly said, then she saw something shimmer at the corner of her eye
"Was I bothering you or something?" Pinkie Pie was smirking at her, but she lost all focus on her, and was looking towards the sky. "Dash?"
"Do you see that?" Rainbow Dash pointed her hoof towards the sky, where there seemed to be something shimmering, and getting closer.
"Warning, High amount of altitude loss detected." APS screamed at me, of course I knew that, I'ts not the first time I've crash landed onto a unknown hostile planet. "Sky! we need to activate the engines before we crash into the ground!" And thats what I did, I was pulling onto the control stick, pulling it as high as it would go, I could hear metal screech and fall off the ship, the engines roaring from the giant amount of force heading into the ship. With the high amount of force, the entire ship was heated, we were doing a uncontrolled re-entry.
"I'm doing the best I can Aps!" No joke there.
"We're about less then 300 metres from the surface!" Of course, we could land at that speed, hopefully.
Rainbow Dash wasn't the only one looking at the falling object, from a shimmer to a full on flaming ball. The thing was falling down fast. "Dash?" Pinkie Pie was talking to her again.
"I see that thing falling down." Rainbow Dash peered over to Canterlot, she could see Princess Celestia riding down to Ponyville. Its not every day you see something that large fall down. She could see the other ponies panicking, "We need the others." Rainbow Dash said, getting up, before heading towards Twilight's Home.
"APS! Do something!" I shouted at the console, we were dropping incredibly fast, too fast for the engines.
"I'm trying the best I can! We can land, but not without damage!" And I thought we were good.
"THEN DO IT!" I shouted at the AI, I cant really keep calm in this situation. Thank the lord I brought the P.R.A.W.N. and S.V.U. otherwise I would have a high chance at being stranded, with no easy mobility and protection from the wildlife.
"Hold onto something!"
Then. Blackout.
"Everypony! Please calm down!" Princess Celestia shouted at the other ponies, nearly instantly they all calmed down and listened to her. "This is a very important problem for us, we are dealing with some sort of metal contraption that hit Equestia just before. Already I have sent the majority of my best guards to go explore what landed here." Multiple hooves went up. "Yes, Applejack?"
"Will the elements of harmony be needed for this?"
"Maybe, we wont really know what it is exactly." More hooves went up. "Please, Ponies, we dont really have much time for this, only a few more questions." Multiple hooves went down after Princess Celestia said that. "Yes, Twilight?"
"How long will it take for the other ponies to find this object?"
"We dont know exactly, but please stay calm, this is all the time I have for, and if you have any more messages you can send it to me." And just like that Princess Celestia flew off back to Canterlot.
"Sky! Wake up! We landed."
"Successfully?" No response. "I guess we need a'lot of repairs?"
"Well, how about you look for yourself." I looked up, and I saw something that would break a person's heart, my ship, in ruins, wings and engines all over the place, with scraps sticking deep into the dirt. Wait, dirt?
"Whats this planet called APS?"
"Unknown Planet at Unknown Star." Of course, well, at least I survived, but I have no clue what caused it.
"What could of caused this?" No Response, I guess she was processing or something, so I got up and started putting all of the broken ship parts into a small pile, at least the manual survived, so I can read that and check what part goes where.
"System Error caused too much power to be placed into the warp drive, causing us to go light years from the solar system."
"Are we still in the Milky Way?"
"No clue." There we go, I'm in the middle of nowhere, with no clue if im even still in the same galaxy, for all I know, I could be in the middle of a completely different galaxy from the Milky Way.
"So, were in the middle of nowhere, on this Earth-like planet?"
"Yep." That's quite a shock, its a planet, with dirt. Next thing I'm going to see is some sort of city the size of Las Vegas. Of course I looked at the nearby trees, Same size as Oak Trees.
"Deploy the S.V.U, I want to explore around the area."
"I've done some system checks, we should be able to takeoff after a few repairs onto the landing gears and engines." Well, that was going to take awhile.
"Your Majesty, we have looked at the area the "thing" crash landed has seem to have moved." That shocked Princess Celestia, It was something that moved, perhaps some sort of monster, maybe a Hydra?
Bubblegum and Cupcake were relaxing on Bubblegum's brand new airship, Bubblegum and Cupcake both decided to call it CAB. Standing for Cupcake and Bubblegum. Equipped with multiple propellers and some good old magic from Cupcake, with multiple amounts of food and storage, including a separate bedrooms for both Bubblegum and Cupcake. Then, a scroll magically appeared right in front of Cupcake.
"Oooh, Hey Bubblegum! theres a piece of paper here!" said Cupcake while jumping up and down.
"What piece of paper?" Bubblegum said, looking at manuals for ideas to add to the airship.
"THIS ONE!" Cupcake said enthusiastically while waving the scroll in Bubblegum's face. With a quick peel of the sticker holding the scroll together, Bubblegum read the scroll, while Cupcake peered over her shoulder and mane.
"Its from Princess Celestia, she wants us to-" Bubblegum said before being interrupted by Cupcake.
"OOH! EXPLORE!" Shouted Cupcake, jumping with excitement.
"Yeah, that." So Bubblegum grabbed the wheel and turned the airship towards the Everfree Forest.
I double checked, and all of the remaining ship parts that fell off were stored safely in the ship’s storage compartment.
“Hey, APS, are you there?”
“I’m always here.”
“Can we at least takeoff?”
“Yes.” So, at least I could takeoff, and explore the rest of the planet.
“APS, start the engines, and activate the distress beacon.” Hopefully they can send some sort of ship nearby us. I cant really stay here, Even though the air is breathable, it isn't exactly healthy for me. So every now and then I have to wear my helmet to stay alive and not be sick from this weird planet air.
“I’ve already activated the distress beacon, currently we still have no signal.” Damn. Looks like I'm going to be here for a long time.
Bubblegum was busy steering the ship into the right direction, while Cupcake ran around the deck in joy.
"YAY! ADVENTURE!" Cupcake shouted, bouncing up.
"If you keep doing that you might fall off the side." Bubblegum said, too busy watching where the ship was going.
"Bubblegum! whats that giant thingy?" Cupcakes said, Pointing her hoof over the side of the deck. It was a massive amount of smoke, perhaps from this monster that crash landed into Equestria.
"Its a massive pile of smoke and charred metal, Cupcake."
"Smells like Muffins!" Cupcake said, jumping up and down, then falling off the deck, thankfully Bubblegum planned for this, and brung the ship closer to the ground. "Ow!" Cupcake said, twisting her hoof.
"I would say, told you so, but this thing is more important." Bubblegum said, bringing down the plank of wood to leave the CAB without jumping off it.
"Hey Bubblegum! Whats this?" Cupcake found some sort of.. Steam Engine? it was incredibly high tech, more then even the things Bubblegum created. Which are better then any other pony could create.
"Well, its some sort of.. I don't really know exactly, How about we take it to the princess?"
"OOH, I GET TO USE MAGIC! YAY!" Cupcake said, jumping up and down with joy, so Cupcake used her "Magic" to bring the giant piece of metal onto the airship.
"Now, to Canterlot!"
"Aps, are all systems alright?"
"Well, the cockpit isn't pressurised, all systems seem to be delayed, and were missing our pulse drive. Other then that were okay." Dammit. I forgot to grab the Pulse Drive, without it it would take years to reach the nearest starship even if one of them arrived. Without it
"We need to head back." I was already starting to panic, it could be unstable and without it, I'm going to die.
"Bubblegum!" Cupcake said, jumping in joy
"What is it now Cupcake." Bubblegum said, then sighed.
"Whats that giant thing going back to where we found this?" Cupcake was pointing to the giant metal cylinder.
"Oh." Bubblegum looked towards the vehicle that was heading back down towards the area where they found the ship part. "Send a scroll to Princess Celestia, im going in." Bubblegum jumped over the side, leaving Cupcake to wander around her airship.
"Its gone." Dammit, it must of been taken by the native wildlife, looks like I'm going to need the SVU. "APS, deploy the SVU."
"Copy that-" Movement. Rustling of bushes nearby the landing zone. "Deploying SVU"
"Shh. Theres movement." I quickly opened the canopy, grabbing the small blast pistol used for mainly small wildlife, but its the only thing I had then, and that thing in the bushes didn't seem small. "Hello?" I said, looking around for any more movement, then I saw some sort of. Yellow tail? I pointed my small blaster near the area.
"Systems are operational. Please hop in before you hurt yourself." So thats what I did, I quickly hopped into the Aphelion, and kept a eye out for something else that could be out there. And just like that, we were out of there.
Bubblegum was hiding in the bushes, watching this thing and its every move. "Hello?" the thing said, trying to keep perfectly still. Bubblegum was incredibly shocked from its design, it wasn't from Equestria, it was a completely different thing. Thankfully the thing left in its vehicle.
"That, was slighty terrifying." Bubblegum said, Thankfully Bubblegum had taken some photos, some proof to show to Princess Celestia. "Now, back to Canterlot."
"I sent a message to Celestia! Shes sending the royal guard!" Cupcake said.
"Thats just great, I found something cool and the Royal Guards are coming to take it from me."
"Oh No!" Cupcake said, looking sorta displeased.
"Anyway, lets bring this back to Canterlot. Even though we are above the air, the Evergreen Forest still scares me."
"That was fun!" Cupcake said, beginning to jump up and down again in joy.
"Yeah, I guess it was." Bubblegum said, too busy keeping the ship steady, she doesn't want to damage her new ship.
"Some sort of animal." That was obvious. I could already tell that it was some sort of animal, maybe a dog or something? Prehaps, but it seemed to move differently, like a horse or something? anyway, if it was hostile, it would of attacked me, but thankfully it didn't. Oh dear, is that a balloon?
"APS, what is that?" I said, pointing towards some sort of boat with a balloon on top.
"Well... It seems that we aren't the only ones here with some sort of intelligence."Oh dear, looks like maybe that thing I saw before might of owned this. "Is that? Our Pulse Drive?" Dammit, they have our drive.
"Arm the cannons."
"Copy That."
"Bubblegum! Your back!" Cupcake said, jumping up and down in joy.
"Yeah. I saw something."
"OOH! Was it something exciting?"
"We need to get to Canterlot, Now." Bubblegum said, jumping right to the helm of the ship and speeding as fast as the airship could go. Sadly she didn't realize that something was following her. It was the Aphelion, Cloaked using microscopic plates that reflect the area around the ship, with Sky Ranger controlling it, following the airship and it's every move, with the cannons arming.
"APS, get a thermal picture of the ship." I said, looking around for any movement nearby the Pulse Drive.
"Oh, I would love to, but sadly you didn't fix the ship enough to involve that." Dammit! I completely forgot about the low system power currently on the ship, without any extra power, we could hardly stay in the air, not even shoot the ship down. "Sky?"
"Disarm the cannons, i'm going in." Its the only way I can get back the Pulse Drive without crashing the ship head first into this vehicle.
"We don't have enough power to Disarm, Rearm, shoot or even hover for a long period of time, we need to land. NOW." Crap. looks like I'm screwed for now, i'm going to have to abort and follow by foot. Using the P.R.A.W.N suit and the SVU.
"Wait a second. Are there any sentinels on this planet?"
"I'm currently detecting zero." Well. This must be one of the first planets ever to have no sentinels. Every planet i've seen has some, at least any sort of life.
"Did we bring the Exo?"
"No." Crap. looks like I left the V3 P.R.A.W.N behind. It wasn't fully built but it was a lot more protection then the original one. Including the Grapple Arm. I could get a way better look around by climbing these massive trees. "Warning, Power levels below 5 Percent." Then, the ship started to shake, the hover thrusters are struggling, and its making one hell of a racket. Crap, the things are looking around the area the Aphelion is at. "Warning, Cloaking is about to shutdown, we need to land now!" Crap Crap Crap Crap Crap.
"Cupcake! Is that you making that big racket up there?" Bubblegum said, currently inside the engine room of the CAB
"No?" Cupcake said, looking around for the massive sound coming from above the ship. Bubblegum exited the engine room to also see what the massive sound was. Then the Aphelion appeared, and was heading straight into the CAB.
KABOOM.
Rainbow Dash saw the massive explosion coming from the Everfree Forest, she could see all of the other ponies looking at it with shock. With her experience near Bubblegum and Cupcake, she knew it wasn't a normal explosion from a bad contraption, shes already seen that when she tried to get Bubblegum to create her a launching pad, sorta like the one she was trying to get Applejack to help her with, sadly she was extremely tired due to her and her Applebuck Season, anyway that was in the past, and currently she has more problems to deal with.
"I sure hope they're alright." Rainbow Dash realized that it was Princess Celestia next to her. She hardly creeps up on anyone, but today hasnt been a normal day. Speaking of a normal day. Wheres Fluttershy and Rarity?
"Yeah. Hopefully it wasn't to serious." Rainbow Dash said, thinking about the other 2 ponies and what they're currently doing. She was guessing that Rarity was making more dresses. And Fluttershy was caring to her animals.
"I was going to send the Wonderbolts, but I decided that I have someone who can get there quickly and on time." Princess Celestia said, Rainbow Dash already knew that she was asking for her to go to the crash site and see if everything was alright with Bubblegum and Cupcake.
"Alright! Something to do for once!" Said Rainbow Dash, already flapping her wings and heading to where she heard the explosion.
"SKY!" Aps was shouting at me again. There wasn't anything I could do, hopefully the ship is still in one piece, and not in more of a wreck then it already is. "SKY!" It seems that shes always shouting at me, i'm doing this wrong or that wrong. No matter what i'm doing, I seem to get shouted at, I used to argue with her, but I've dealt with it before, anyway its not like I can win against a Self-Aware AI.
"Yeah?"
"We Got Visitors." Thats never a good sign, is it Pirates? Sentinels? Some sort of Sentient life that lives on this planet? Well, any thing that means we got visitors is never a good sign, Including when I opened my eyes, it was horses. I saw Horses. Not just your plain brown and white horses, but these things had wings. And horns? including that their fur or whatever it is was pink. Pink. Damn Alien life.
Rainbow Dash was soaring over the Everfree forest, looking for any signs of Bubblegum and Cupcake. She had no clue where they were exactly.
"Sky?" I was too shocked to listen to APS. I mean, there are freaking horses infront of me. What was I going to damn do. Hmm.
"Eject." Only one way in.
"Ejecting." Only one way out.
Bubblegum looked at the strange figure, it was the same thing that she saw before when she was looking around the area it crashed. It seemed to look stressed. Bubblegum was also stressed, the CAB now has a massive hole in the side of it, where this vehicle crashed right into it. Maybe she should of instead of living on airship lived in her own house in Cloud Land. Anyway, this thing seemed to be ready for something, perhaps a fight of some sort against us?
"Ooh, it seems to be moving?" Cupcake said, completely distracted by the figure in his ship, now currently half inside of the CAB.
"Yeah, it is. Cupcake, I think we found our monster."
Rainbow Dash finally arrived, thankful to see Bubblegum and Cupcake alright, but now this giant red vehicle is halfway through their airship.
"Damn." Rainbow Dash said, looking around for any sort of item to help remove this thing from the ship. Then she heard the flapping of Pegasus wings. It was the Royal Guard, and they are here just in time.
Crap, Crap, Crap Crap. I forgot to fix the ejection system. I'm screwed, and stuck looking at these things.
"SKY. I need some time, I can get some power towards the thrusters and get u-"
"This is the Aurora Star Vessel, I got your distress beacon and i'm sending down some troops to help you Star Ranger." Thank god, i'm saved, now I don't have to worry about this issue with these crazy animals, I can already see the drop pods and vehicles coming down from the Aurora to save me. Thank the lord i'm a Star Ranger.
"Thanks Aurora, be warned, i'm pretty sure these things aren't friendly." I could hear the captain calling out to some of the troops about what i just said.
"Thanks for that Ranger, i'll send down a team to come pick you up." I just hope they don't take too long.
Rainbow Dash was shocked to see all of the metal contraptions falling from the sky, looks like it sent help. Already she could see the royal guard coming down, picking up the ship, she quickly flew towards it and helped them out.
"Sorry, we don't need any help, please just head back to Ponyville." One of the Royal Guards said.
"Uhh, Okay." Rainbow Dash said.
Can my day get any worse?
The ship was shaking again, but I think these things are moving me. Crap.
"You guys need any help?" Bubblegum said.
"Were fine." The Royal Guards said.
"Hey Bubblegum, i'll see you back at Ponyville?" Rainbow Dash said,
"Yeah." Bubblegum said, looking at the things falling from the sky, she did a few calculations and realized that they don't have much time before those things hit Equestria. They were running out of time. And they need to warn the other ponies.
"Power online for the thrusters, all we need now is to get out of here, and regroup with the other troops." Why can't I just leave this damn planet.
"Ranger, this is the Aurora, we seem to be getting pulled towards the planet. Crap! Evacuate the ship!" That's not good.
Princess Celestia was using her magic to pull the giant ship towards Equestria, she wanted this funny business to stop as fast as she could make it. She already sent the ponies back inside to their buildings, and she also heard that the Royal Guard had seem to got the vehicle that crashed into Bubblegum's Airship. It was difficult, but she was able to do it, she could see the white panels from the ship staring to turn red. She wondered if that was because of her magic.
Rainbow Dash was looking at the sky with Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Applejack. This massive thing was crashing right into the Everfree forest, and Rainbow Dash was worried about Bubblegum and Cupcake, she could see the rest of the ponies already inside their homes. This thing was coming down fast, and she decided to go back inside.
"Hey Dash, Were you going?" Applejack said.
"I've been near Bubblegum long enough to know when something big hits the ground fast." Rainbow Dash said, starting to panic.
"What happens then Dashie?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"Big boom, shock wave, stuff like that. Just really uncool stuff." Rainbow Dash said, panicking and flying off to Cloudsdale.
"Well, I say we do the same thing then." Rarity said, walking off towards her home
"Well, i'm with Rarity." said Twilight Sparkle, hopping off towards her house. Then Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy headed their ways.
I was pulling on the throttle. Trying to pull away from these things and get towards the area, then I saw the Aurora.
"Holy Shit." It was a sight to see, a massive ship, coming right where I was. "APS! DO SOMETHING NOW!" I was extremely panicked. Its not everyday you see something that big heading your way.
"Thruster power at 100 percent." Then, we were off. flying Southwest, away from the crash site, the giant airship and this spooky forest.
"Aurora, are you still there?" No response, looks like they all ejected from the ship. Hopefully I can get out of here. "APS, activate the winch, and grab the Pulse Drive." Click. There we go, that's what I need.
"I've got the Pulse Drive, lets get out of here." And that was it, we were off, hopefully the last time I have to deal with those animals.
"AFTER IT!" One of the Royal Guards shouted, the thing they were trying to move started to fly and head away from the CAB, Bubblegum was already at the Helm, telling Cupcake to head back down into her bedroom, its alot safer then up here. Bubblegum was steering the ship away from the Everfree forest, she couldn't deal with this issue right now, and she wanted to get far away from here for as long as she can. That thing was getting closer, and if she couldn't get far enough from it, Cupcake and Bubblegum would be goners.
It was getting closer, Extremely close, Rainbow Dash was looking at the Forest from her home, hoping she could see the CAB, thankfully she saw it fly off away from the area she was before, including that thing that she saw before, it seemed to fly off, carrying something. Anyway she was prepared for this giant thing coming down.
The Captain was still trying, he was dealing with a lot of force from the ship heading nose down into this unknown planet. Thankfully he should be the only one on the ship. He looked towards the photo he kept next to his chair. It was his family, and he knew sadly that he wouldn't see his Wife or his Daughter again. He dropped a tear as the ship's power went down and hit the ground.
Lights Flashing Alarms Beeping. Just a normal.... Wait.
I was inside some sort of hangar, wires were everywhere, pieces of the main ship were all over the floor, and I was sitting in the middle of a Fully working Aphelion.
"APS?" I said, quickly checking all of the controls to see if they all worked, No response, thankfully we seemed to be fully repaired, Including the Pulse Drive was installed.
"All systems are functional, currently we are still on this planet, I've checked through our databanks and the planet is now called Equest, and currently we are in the Aurora hangar A43." Thankfully this is safe, I could hear some sort of banging and gunshots from outside, I think im not the only Human here anymore. So I hopped out of my ship and headed down towards the emergency exit from the Aurora, the ship was in complete ruins, so many parts that even a skilled engineer and his team wouldn't be able to fix a single corridor in a week. Quickly I found the control room and opened Hangar A43's door, Already the gunshots were louder. Thankfully they were aimed away from the Aurora. So no damn human pirates are here. I quickly hopped into Aphelion, greeted APS again, and took off to scout the area around the Aurora and this weird forest.
"KEEP FIRING!" The captain shouted towards the us. John was scared out of his wits, he was only here for engineering, not fighting ponies, including that they're using laser weapons against our normal ballistic weapons, he could see normal troops, fighting getting blasted by these things and falling down, dead. John couldn't take it anymore, he threw his gun and ran, ran away from the gunshots, ran away from these animals and just ran.
"APS, Why the hell was the Aurora crashed down, and how did we even get there and get our ship fully repaired?" I was shocked, dealing with this stuff, I had a look downwards to see where my fellow Rangers are, I could see them firing their weapons, bombing these things, that worried me, they didn't really look that menacing, but before I knew it, they were raining down lasers from that weird airship. Then the airship was shot down and fell into a lake. "Damn." I said, looking at the airship sink. it was sinking way too fast for a normal ship, then it just dissipated into the water. Thank god those things are gone, they were a hassle, stealing my Pulse Drive, causing alot of hassle towards me and APS.
"A unknown force pulled the Aurora into Equest, it wasn't gravity, I lost complete control to the Aphelion and the backup took us into the hangar. No previous data shows why the ship was repaired, but from my guesses that the auto repairers in the hangar did it." Well, that's one thing done. Next up, somehow getting back to Earth and warning them about the Aurora crashing into Equest.
John reached a clearing, somewhere he could relax for a second, without dealing with those ponies shooting lasers at him. It was quite peaceful, this planet, it doesn't really have that big of a problem. he still didn't realize that something was creeping up towards him. It was Rainbow Dash, she saw this figure run off and chased after it. With a quick buck from her hind hooves, John was laying on the ground, then.
Blackout.
Bubblegum was annoyed, she just made the CAB, for it to be destroyed by these invaders, most of the ship was burning, it was sorta cozy, but still frustrating for her. Thankfully instead of crashing up above and being captured, she was able to crash land it into her secret hangar.
"Cupcake, are you alright?" Bubblegum Called out, looking around for Cupcake, she saw a hoof sticking out from the rubble. "Cupcake!" Bubblegum said in plea, rushing over to her to pull her out of the rubble. Thankfully she was perfectly fine, no scratches or anything on her body and mane.
"That was fun! Lets do it again!" Cupcake said, smiling.
"I'm happy that you're alright, and no, we cant do it again." Bubblegum said, looking around for the main entryway into her spare home.
"AWWWWW" Cupcake said, following shortly behind Bubblegum.
"Sky, we are detecting a massive amount of human lifeforms heading towards the giant castle." Dammit, they're trying to rush into it.
"Is the Pulse Drive charged?" I just really want to get out of here.
"Were Completely charged and ready to leave the atmosphere." APS said, Time to leave this planet. "Buckle up, its gonna be one bumpy ride."
John felt extremely dizzy, its not everyday you get hit in the head with something made of metal, when he finally went to, he was in some sort of castle. "Hes awake Celestia!" One of the ponies called out in some sort of golden armor.
"Good." The big white one with wings and a horn said. "I am Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria, and who are you exactly?"
"Uh... John...." John Replied, getting up from the ground, he was stripped completely of armor and weapons.
"Now, John, your kind has invaded our land, one of your kind in a red ship crash landed here, and was armed, ready to attack us, is this true?" Princess Celestia said.
"Uhh.." John said, then, Princess Celestia's horn started to glow, and a yellow aura appeared around it, John felt suddenly dizzy and then... He looked towards his hands, wait. Where is his hands? his skin suddenly turned from white to a orange color and his fingers turned into hooves. and....
I was traveling over 2000 kph towards the moon of Equest. It was sort of painful, the amount of Gs I carried through my body could break my spine without the protection from the Aphelion. Currently we were heading towards the moon because it has a material that can pump our Pulse Drive into overdrive and take us to Earth in hours instead of years, its the best I can do without getting enough materials from it to repair the Aurora. If I can get towards Earth and send a distress..... That's it! I can send a distress beacon from the Aurora, and get some help to pick up the crew.
"APS, head back towards the Aurora." I said, quickly slowing down the ship and turning it around.
"Co-Ordinates set, lets hope this works." APS said, just as the ship started to heat up and re-entry.
Bubblegum flipped the switch to open the mechanical door to the main hallway. "Its been a while since i've been here." Bubblegum Said.
"Ooh! Wheres the light switch?" Cupcake said, placing her hoofs all over the walls. Bubblegum flipped a small switch with her hoof and the lights turned on. "OOH! Its pretty!" Cupcake said in joy, looking at the stylish, modern and high tech area that Bubblegum and Cupcake were in.
"Well, lets go fix the CAB." Bubblegum said, hopping into this mechanical exo suit.
"Ooh?" Cupcake said, looking at the suit.
"I call it the PON-1." Bubblegum said, turning onto the system power. The machine stood up, and a protective glass closed on top of the cockpit.
"Do I get one?" Cupcake asked.
"Yes, but currently I didn't finish it." Bubblegum Replied. "Its time to protect Equestria."
John woke up again, he couldn't remember a thing that happened before, all he knew in his head is that he was a pony, and he needed to fight the humans. John galloped towards the Everfree forest, equipped with a Laser stun weapon from Bubblegum.
Thank god for protective re-entry panels. No human or "Thing" would want to be turned into a crisp, After the Aphelion made it through Re-Entry, we headed straight towards the Aurora. "APS, Do a thermal scan."
"Scanning." The display showed the video of the thermal imaging, we could see that the humans were losing numbers quickly, and they were being dragged off.
"APS, can we get power into the Aurora?" If we get power, we can get some systems online, and prehaps engage the thrusters and hover above the ground, including with the defense turrents we could defend against these animals.
"We could get the backup generator online, but we need to get 3 Breaker systems rebooted, and they must be rebooted at the same time." Well. that's going to make things difficult, I just need to get two more people.
Rainbow Dash was in cover, she was behind the enemy's lines and if she wasn't careful, she could be shot, thankfully she was in this bush the perfect size for a pony. I better make this quick. She thought in her head. Looking around for any movement, she moved closer to the giant ship, to see the small red craft fly into it, it was the same craft as before. The reason this giant ship came here, the reason that some of the ponies are dead. She quickly galloped over to the ship and flew the rest of the way into the small human shaped airlock on the side of the ship.
After a okay landing, I left the Aphelion to look for any survivors who can help restart the power. "APS, turn on the DS" DS stood for Defense System, if you were wondering, anyway. The area I was in was a lot better then before. The hallways were intact and there wasn't any fire or wires sticking out of the walls, "APS, where are we currently?"
"Were in the maintenance hangar, right next to the PRAWN Storage and Robotics Bay" That's it! I completely forgot about the PRAWN suits, with those, we could push the Ponies back towards that castle!
"APS, are the PRAWN suits charged?" Crossing my fingers here.
"They are charged, but the Magnetic locks cant be disabled without power." Damn, well, at least i'm getting power here.
"Well, lets get this thing up and running. " I said, running towards the Robotics Bay.
Bubblegum was currently inside the PON-1, while Cupcake helped move around bits of the CAB (The metal bits) and help bring new wood planks over to the ACM (Automatic Cutting Machine) so Bubblegum could place the parts onto the new CAB.
Thank god, there was still some Robots in the Bay, I could get APS to control 2 of them and take them towards the breaker rooms, there's one of the breaker switches in here. With the power online, we could launch this ship outta here and get the upper hand. "APS? you there?"
"ROBO-2 and ROBO-3 are now currently at both breakers, get ready to pull the switch Sky." APS Said, Here we go, time to bring the power. Wait a second, was that a blue? No.
"APS, They're on the ship!" I shouted, pulling out my blast pistol and aiming it where the blue hoof was before. Thankfully I flipped the breaker and all the lights turned from red to white.
"Deploying PRAWN-1 V3" APS Said, just as a clunk from the PRAWN suit hitting the ground. The dual miniguns already were AI controlled and were pointing to the area that the Pony was just at before.
"Aps, Open the first PRAWN suit, and activate the Hover Thrusters. I'm going to find that Pony." I Said.
"Activating Thrust to 100 percent." APS said, while the ship started to shake.
"OH MY." One of the ponies shouted. The massive ship that was at Everfree forest was floating, it was lifting, with all the humans hopping into it, there were massive turrents that were laying down hell onto the ponies, thankfully most of them survived. At Canterlot, Princess Celestia was extremely worried, if this thing has enough power to takeoff, then it could fully destroy Ponyville and Canterlot.
"Put the Guards on full alert, we have to protect Ponyville." Celestia said, looking out towards the massive ship.
This thing was amazing, super high tech, including the 3D printed bullets. "APS, Keep a check on the power, make sure we don't run out of it.
"Copy that Sky, Iv'e already done a full thermal scan using the Aurora's power to see life signatures, ill send it to your Heads Up Display." A small picture appeared at the bottom right of the screen inside the PRAWN, it showed a 3D picture of the Aurora, and small red dots that showed what was in. With the map, I would be able to follow the Pony quicker and keep a eye on the rest of them.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Someone's voice came from the speaker.
"This is Sky Ranger of the SR Aphelion, Whats up?" I replied.
"We just want to thank you for placing power back onto the Aurora, the Captain is dead and only Star Rangers had the codes to reactivate the breakers." The Speaker bleeped.
"Your welcome, who am I speaking to?" I said into the Microphone.
"This is 2nd Officer Keen." Said the Speaker. Well, the officer survived.
"Good, tell everyone to head towards the Robotics bay, There are PRAWN suits in there we can use to fight back." I said.
"Thanks again Sky." Keen said.
"APS Deactivate all MAG locks on the PRAWN suits, were about to win this war." I said, continuing to follow the pony.
Rainbow Dash was quietly running, she knew that something big was following her, and if she didn't get as far as she could from it, she would be toast. She already realized that they were in the air right now, all pegasi have that ability to tell if they're in the air or not. She just kept running, running until she couldn't hear the thumping of the monster. Currently she was in some sort of bedroom, These humans have really weird beds. Rainbow Dash thought. She continued to explore, looking around for any more clues to where these things came from. She eventually found the bridge. "Oh my." She said, looking around, a screen was displaying some words that made zero sense to her. Something about Alti.... Altitude? Altitude Loss Detected it said. Weird words for them, Wait a second, is that a globe? She thought, running towards the small plastic statue of Earth on the Captain's Desk. "So, this must be where they're from." She said, grabbing the globe in her mouth and bucked the glass, it shook, but didn't break.
"You know, thats made of glass thats supposed to survive the strongest of vaccum." A voice behind her said.
Something hit her then she blacked out.
"Princess Celestia, there are giant suits with humans in them heading towards Ponyville!" One of the guards said.
"Then ill deal with them myself." Princess Celestia replied, spreading her wings and flying towards Ponyville
"Wait!" The guard shouted, but already Princess Celestia was too far for her to hear him.
"Cupcake! Use your magic to bring these suits to the ponies! Hurry!" Bubblegum said, quickly putting the final touches of the CAB V2.
"Okie dokie Bubblegum!" Cupcake said, using her magic to bring the multible PONIES (Prevention of Naturalization in Equestira Suit.) suits to the surface.
The ponies were losing. John was behind cover, shooting the LSD (Laser Stun Device) towards the human's PRAWN suits, but it was doing nothing against them, they were just too powerful, He was losing to much hope, but he kept firing at them, "We need to fight fire with fire." John said, continuing to fire at them. Just as he said that, a giant mechanical suit made just for ponies landed right next to him. "Just what I needed!" He said, hopping into it. "Time to fire fire with fire." He said, charging at the PRAWN suits.
Keen was charging towards the ponies, he was hitting them, throwing them at the ground. Chucking them far in the air, shooting them down with the dual miniguns. Then something hit his suit in the side. It was some sort of suit with a pony in it. he quickly turned on the SRC (Short Range Comms) And shouted into the microphone. "TO ALL HUMANS! THEY HAVE EXO SUITS." He said, before taking another hit in the side. "Time to Wrestle." He said, charging at the PONIES. With a quick charge he was able to get a pretty good hit into the side of the suit, it was going to leave a big dent on the suit, including the concussion that the pony was going to have after. The Pony had its turn too, it fired a shot right into the cockpit, cracking the glass, he grabbed one of the arms of the suit and started to try and pull it off, wires started to split and send out massive volts of electricity. While he was doing this, the pony used the other arm to shatter the cockpit glass, sending shards into Keen's chest and other body parts. His right arm was disabled, but he was still fighting. With a quick punch he took off the arm and send it right into the cockpit. The suit was completely disabled, and he pushed it into the riverbed.
Just as Bubblegum finished putting on the final touches of the CAB V2, a broken PONIES suit landed right onto a propeller and broke the entire engine. "Dammit!" Bubblegum Said.
After Stuning the Pony, I just left it there in the bridge, i continued to head back down towards the Robotics Bay to regroup with the others, while I was heading there, I got a call. "Hello?" I said, stopping in my tracks.
"This is Jay from the SR Cortana, its good to see you Sky." Jay said. My god, its Jay, hes my old partner, years we spent together, we were sent towards a planet where we were stuck for a while. But that's a story for another time.
"Holy shit, Jay! I haven't seen you in years!" I said, smirking.
"Yeah, Its been a bit sad not waking up and checking the hangar for the Aphelion." Jay Replied.
"Yeah, How did you find me?" I said.
"Well, on Earth the Aurora crashing has been all over the galaxy, I got a signal from the Aphelion, so I headed towards it and I found you."
"So were still in the Milky Way?" I replied.
"Yep." Jay Said, I hope APS got that.
"Sweet, Im just in the Aurora, watch out though, these natives aren't friendly." I said, continuing towards the Robotics Bay.
"Yeah, I can see that. Seriously, ponies? Anyway, im landing in the Maintenance Hangar. Its where the Aphelion is currently so i'll meet you there.
"Yeah." I said. The SR Cortana was a Corvette size Ship, it could fit 2 Aphelions inside it. Which it did. There was a blue one for Jay, and a red one for me, It was a 2 and a half story ship, with a higher tech AI then APS, Jay named it PAS (Personal Automated System) and its stuck with him for the majority of his life. His dad gave him enough money for a AI core before he joined the Star Rangers, those were the good old days.
Princess Celestia was defending Canterlot and Ponyville from the Impending doom that these suits were going to bring, She was holding them back, but they just keep coming, she wouldn't be able to hold them for too long. Just as she was about to be over run somepony in a Metal suit took down the suit pinning her. "Glad to help Princess Celestia!" The pony said just before running off to attack the other PRAWN suits. Celestia Smiled, and realized that this was only the beginning. They're going to keep charging, and unless everypony takes down that starcraft, they will destroy Canterlot and Equestria.
Rainbow Dash came to, and woke up on the cold metal floor of the starcraft. She quickly grabbed the Globe and headed out from the Bridge and towards the nearest exit following the green signs. After she made it towards some sort of hallway and flew off towards Canterlot to meet up with the other ponies, including Princess Celestia.
"Dammit Cupcake! Wheres the ACRDSAS?" Bubblegum Said.
"Uhh, whats that Bubblegum?" Cupcake replied.
"IT LOOKS LIKE A PROPELLER." Bubblegum shouted at her.
"OKIE DOKIE BUBBLEGUM!" Cupcake Cheerfully said back.
Keen was being pushed back alot, he already was dealing with one of the exo suits, and he could already see more of them coming. Hes going to need alot of backup to deal with the intensity of these ponies. "I need some help-" A fist hit him right in the chest, it was a mechanical fist from one of the exo suits. He instantly blacked out, and his bones were crushed from the fist.
"Sky, 2nd Officer Keen is KIA." My speaker bleeped from the PRAWN suit said.
"Dammit." I said, we were dealing with some heavy horsepower from those suits. Heh, horsepower.
"Just keep at them, if we can continue to push forwards we can take over the land and leave." I said
Rainbow Dash was tired, she had been awake all day, longer then just a day. Thankfully she was just next to Canterlot and was able to talk to Celestia, But sadly..
"Sorry Rainbow Dash, Celestia is currently at Ponyville, defending it from those things." One of the guards replied. Dammit! Rainbow Dash thought. She was about to fly off but she was too tired, before she could even take off, she collasped and could see the guards running towards her before she blacked out.
After Jay landed, I quickly greeted him just before the ship started to shake.
"Shit, somethings pulling at us!" Jay said, grabbing onto the Cortana.
"Don't worry, we should be alright." I said, heading out towards the Robotics Bay to check on the others. Everybody moved everything we had from down at Base Camp into the Robotics Bay, so it was our main HQ for now, I was going to move everything towards the Bridge but currently we dont have enough power to get it online.
"Well, i'll borrow the Aphelion and scout around the outskirts of the Aurora." Jay said, hopping into the Aphelion.
"Dont Crash her, she just got fixed." I said as a joke.
"Hey, im a good pilot, otherwise the Star Rangers wouldn't of given us the Cortana." Jay Said as the Cockpit closed. After if closed the ship took off, then the hangar bay doors closed.
"Hey guys, how are we doing?" I said to some of the Engineers working on the generator.
"Well, were dealing with a few clicks here and there, but give us a hour or so and we can get her online."
I banged against the table "We don't have that sort of time here. The ponies are charging at us with suits like the PRAWN. We cant deal with this for too long."
"Then make us more time, we cant just boost our effort!" The engineer said in a strong tone.
"Alright, ill see what I can do." I said, walking over to the Communication Team
"Hello Ranger, Before you ask, we're doing our job, and making sure that everybody gets something to do to help the Aurora get up into the sky." One of the Comms Units said.
"Good t-" A sudden shake cut my sentence.
"Sir, were dealing with ponies attacking the Hover Engines." one of the engineers called out. I quickly got Jay on the line.
"Jay, were dealing with them on the Engines. Can-" Another shake.
"SIR! They're on the ship!" someone shouted.
"We have to defend the generator rooms at all cost! We need to defend Base Camp at all costs!" I shouted, hopping into the PRAWN V3.
The Majority of the turrents were online. They were bringing down hell into the ponies. John's PONIE was extremely damaged and we was behind cover, hearing the massive shells hit the ground. He forgot completely why they were fighting in the first place, why did this massive starcraft crash here in the first place? He has questioning that while he saw a PRAWN suit charge at him.
Damn, when you have alot of massive suits hiting a ship this size, it shakes quite a lot. "SIR, if they take down even one of the hover engines at this height, we could explode the dark matter core and radiate the entire area around us!" Crap, if that would happen, it wouldn't just kill the natives, it would kill the entire crew of the Aurora.
"Well, don't let them do that then." I said as the ship continued to shake.
"WARNING, HOVER ENGINE 034 IS LOSING POWER." A speaker shouted from the Robotics Bay. I quickly tapped my headset and connected to the Aphelion.
"Jay, we need you at Engine 34." I said. No response. "Jay? movement through the microphone.
"Sorry about that! I'll head there now, i'm just dealing with my own problem now!" Jay said. I ended the call after that.
"How many RAD suits do we have?" I asked the engineers.
"Not enough for everybody." They replied.
"Get as much people in them as we can, the Cortana has RAD resistance, put some people in there if we run out." I said, grabbing my PRAWN V1. Its not like the Exo suit that were currently using to battle the ponies, its more like a smallish spacesuit, made for Civilian use.
"Copy that sir." They said.
I just hope Jay can stop us from falling.
"Get off me you damn things!" Jay shouted, the Aphelion was fighting against the force from one of the PONIE exo arms, it was trying to crush the Aphelion, but was having difficulties. "APS, activate the afterburners! We can get ourselfs out of here!"
"Doing that right now Jay." APS said, with a wiggle and shake they managed to escape the PONIE exo and fly towards the hover engine Sky was talking about.
"Im fine!" Rainbow Dash said, getting up slowly. Then collasping.
"Rainbow Dash, your not alright, you need to rest." One of the guards said.
"I need to talk to Celestia..." She said, crawling towards the main doors.
"I can send her a scroll, What do you need to ask her?" The guard said.
"Tell her, that Rainbow Dash has found where they come from." She said.
Then she dozed off.
"Cupcake! We need more PONIES ontop!" Bubblegum Shouted
"Okie dokie Bubblegum, but what bout the CAB?" Cupcake Asked.
"Ive got a better idea." Bubblegum said, trotting over to a scraggy old blanket.
"Oooh! Whats underneath it?" Cupcake Asked.
"Something that will help us win the war." Bubblegum said, taking off the blanket. "But, its going to need alot of work, and I need you to be with me the entire time."
"Okay Bubblegum!" Cupcake said, trotting over to stand beside Bubblegum
"If we get this running, we will get the upper hand." Bubblegum said.
"Its like a big bird!" Cupcake said.
"Sort of, I call it the Hover-Tron V2." Bubblegum said, dragging it next to Cupcake."I made it when I was a filly."
"Cool!" Cupcake said.
"It was more for transport, but if we put on some high power lasers on it, I think we could devastate the humans." Bubblegum said while pulling off a old rusty panel.
"Okie! What should I do Bubblegum?"
"Find me some sort of spanner, I need to replace all the wiring." Bubblegum said, pulling out old wires.
"Alrighty!" Cupcake replied, running towards Bubblegum's toolbox.
"Sky! I cant get them off!" Jay shouted into the speaker.
"Get as far away from the Aurora as you can." I replied "Shes about to return to the land."
"What about you?" Jay asked.
"I'll regroup with you in the Cortana with PAS. Look after APS and the Aphelion please." I replied.
"You look after my ship too." Jay said, then they both lost signal. I walked back into the Robotics Bay to talk to the troops. I grabbed the main microphone and connected it to all comms.
Bubblegum's Radio wave detector was activated, it detected a high source of wave power from this certain area and turned it into sound you can hear. "Cupcake, flip the red switch on the RWD please."
"Okie dokie lokie Bubblegum!" Cupcake said, flipping the red switch with her hoof.
"This is to all surviving Aurora crew, the ship is currently losing power to the hover engines and the ship will start falling. We need to you to evacuate the entire forest. The ship's dark matter core will explode, sending out high amounts of radiation around this small area, I have sent Co-Ordinates through this message, head to them as fast as you can, I hope to meet you all there." The speaker bleeped.
"Bubblegum, whats Radiation?" Cupcake asked.
"Something you do not want to deal with. Now help me move this onto the CAB. We need to leave the Everfree forest now." Bubblegum said, rushing Cupcake.
I was running towards the SR Cortana. The amount of pressure from the ship falling was devastating, I had to get out of there as quickly as I could. I quickly flipped the switch that ejected the hangar door. The entire ship lost power due to the Engine exploding. I could already see the other people heading towards the Evacuation pods, I knew that they weren't going to make it there. I jumped into the Cortana as the main door closed and shot off from the Aurora. I looked from the door hatch to see the Aurora hitting the ground, the entire ship bent, sending shards everywhere, the shockwave took out the majority of the trees from the forest.
"I just hope Jay made it out alive." I said, looking towards the mountain area where we were going to land. "PAS. Send out another message."
"Copy that Sky." PAS Bleeped at me. I brung the microphone close to my face, thinking about what I was going to say.
The Cortana started to shake from the shock wave. I dropped the microphone and quickly picked it up before the shock wave became more intense. "Sorry about that, this is Sky Ranger of the SR Cortana, does anyone here respond?" No response. "Hello?" Dammit! I might be the only one with comms. "PAS, are we set for the mountain?"
"Yes Sky Ranger."
"Well, i'm tired and i'm going to take a nap, wake me up once we arrive there." I said before walking towards my old bedroom.
The entire CAB shook, Bubblegum could see the giant star ship crash into the Everfree forest. "I think were having some system errors in the engine bay... I'll go check it." Bubblegum said trotting off.
"Okie dokie Bubblegum!" Cupcake said.
Keen woke up next to the Aurora. He quickly turned on his comms. "Hello! Is anyone there!" Keen shouted into the microphone, he was sick. He heard a explosion and thats what woke him up.
"Keen?" Someone said from the speaker.
"This is 2nd Officer Keen, who am i talking to right now?" Keen asked.
"This is Jay from the SR Aphelion." Jay said back.
"Well, what the hell happened here?" Keen replied.
"Well, the ship's dark matter core went off, exploded and-" The Aurora started to shake, it seemed to be slowly heading up into the clouds. "Keen, do you have a RAD suit?"
"The PRAWN Exo should be RAD resistant." Keen said.
"Get outta there now!" Jay shouted. Keen turned around to see the Aurora toppling above him. He knew there wasn't enough time to run.
Cupcake heard a groan from the Medical Bay, she poked her head in to see Bubblegum with a broken wing and a broken foot. "Bubblegum!" She said galloping over to her.
"Cupcake.. I'm fine, I planned for this." Bubblegum said.
"But..." a tear fell down Cupcake's cheek. Bubblegum pulled over a prosthetic wing and foot.
"Cupcake, I need you to leave the Medical Bay, Now." Bubblegum said in a commanding tone.
"I'll be waiting outside." Cupcake said, dropping another tear. Bubblegum did plan for this, as she brung the Medic-Bot on board. Bubblegum was sorta excited for this, imagine what she could do with a robotic wing and hoof! She told the bot to put her to sleep while he took off the broken limbs and replaced them. She completely forgot about the massive scar left on her face from the explosion.
30 Minutes before the Aurora Exploded.
"Cupcake! Help me put this on the CAB!" Bubblegum shouted.
"Bubblegum! Look out!" Cupcake screamed. I piece of the structure fell off and hit Bubblegum.
"GO WITHOUT ME CUPCAKE! Look after the CAB!" Bubblegum said.
"No way!" Cupcake said, using her magic, she lifted the scrap off of Bubblegum and helped her onto the ship.
"Get ready! This is gonna be a bumpy ride!" Bubblegum said, grabbing the helm. After a massive shake and a ton of metal scrap hitting the CAB, they managed to escape through the Pond and into the air.
"How does that even work Bubblegum?" Cupcake asked.
"That's a secret i'll keep to myself." She said.

Bubblegum walked out from the Medical Bay, she looked perfectly fine. "Hey Cupcake." She said.
"Bubblegum! Your alright!" Cupcake said in glee.
"Well, With a bit of Pegasus power here and there, I could camouflage the robotic parts with my own skin." Bubblegum said, looking pleased. "I think its time we go see Celestia." Bubblegum said, trotting off to the main deck. With Cupcake following shortly behind her.
Celestia was writing a note to Bubblegum and Cupcake's parents. It read Dear Mrs Kiss,Mr Kiss,Mrs Sprinkles and Mr Sprinkles. I want to inform you that currently Bubblegum and Cupcake are Missing in Action. I want to inform you that I will have my best guards find their bodys and bury them once this is over. From, Princess Celesita.
"Keen?" I got a signal from Keen's PRAWN Exo, I was still wondering where he was, I had no signal from him since he left the Aurora.
"This is APS from the SR Aphelion, Im sorry to say-" Explosions from the microphone.
"APS?" I said, no response. "Aphelion? APS? Jay?" Nothing....
"Jay here, sorry, we saw a convoy and we saw Keen's PRAWN. Keen is KIA." Shit! We lost the only high rank from the Aurora that's left.
"I'm about to land. I just had a nice rest.. I'll see you there?" I said.
"Yeah." Jay said. I quickly took the manual landing controls and landed it at the plateau that was nearby the Co-Ordinates.
"Look. Just don't crash the Aphelion. She just got fixed. See you soon. Ranger out." I ended the comm link.
"Sky Ranger. Im detecting a massive structure nearby this mountain on the other side." PAS said.
"Open the Hatch, keep on full alert." I said, twisting the valve on the main door.
"Airlock is open." PAS said. I went in and left the Cortana. It was sort of peaceful. Nice view, there was a nice forest. Didn't really look that creepy or spooky.
"Ranger's Log 004. I'm currently in some sort of plateau. The Aurora has crashed and sent out Radiation. I-" I heard the sound of a propeller. They landed next to the Cortana, and two ponies walked off from it. I pointed my blaster at them.
"Wait! Dont shoot!" The winged one said.
"Give me a reason why." I said.
"Im Bubblegum, And this is Cupcake." the winged one pointed to the one with a horn.
"Hia!" Cupcake siad.
"Great. I know your names. Still not a reason not to shoot you." I said. Charging my blaster. "Wait a second. You were the ones who stole my Pulse Drive!" I shouted. Shooting a warning shot into the ground.
"Wait! We can help you get out of here! and fix your big ship!" Bubblegum said.
"Good for you, Now. Why did you come here?" I said.
"OOH! I Know! Your humans are invading Canterlot!" Cupcake said.
"What is Canterlot?" I asked.
"The giant castle on the side of this Mountain." Bubblegum Said.
"Good, thats all I from you now." I pointed my blaster at them.
"Wait!" Bubblegum said.
"What is it now." I moaned.
"If your humans attack. They will be destroyed by Princess Celesita!" Bubblegum said.
"And why should I trust you?"
"I could fix that giant starcraft at the Everfree forest."
"Pfft. Just lies so you wont be shot."
"Wait! I know Bubblegum super duper well! Shes the best Engineer in Equestria!" Cupcake said
"Even if I did trust you. The Aurora is way too big to be fixed ."
"You underestimate me." Bubblegum said.
"And why is that?"
"You know your red ship?"
"The Aphelion."
"Yeah. I was the one who fixed it." I lowered my blaster.
"Why do you want to help me?" I asked.
"Because. If the humans in Equestria are destroyed. Then nopony will be able to fix the starcraft's engine. And everypony will die." Bubblegum said.at
"Well. I guess I have no choice." I said. "What do you want me to do."
The humans were charging at Canterlot. Celestia was prepared. She already was casting her magic. She didn't realise how much firepower the humans had. "Princess Celestia! Look out!" One of the guards shouted.
"I've got thi-" Massive ammounts of pain came into her leg, she collapsed. Her leg was bleeding badly.
"Protect the Princess!" The same guard shouted. She saw Luna rushing towards her.
"SISTER!" She screamed
"Charge men!" The officer shouted. Soldiers with PRAWN exos were bringing support fire right infront of the castle. Massive amounts of low range bombers from the Aurora were sending down Plasma bombs onto Canterlot. The officer saw the Star Ranger run over towards him, with two of the enemies behind him.
"DO NOT FIRE!" I shouted.
"HOLD FIRE!" The officer shouted. I ran over towards him. "Now, Ranger. What the hell are you doing with two of the enemies!" He shouted at me. I wiped my face and replied.
"Do you have the right to tell me what to do, Officer?" I said. He gulped.
"No, sir." He said back.
"Now." I said, I pulled out my blaster and shot Bubblegum, the bullet bounced right off her.
"Cupcake Run!" She said, charging.
"AIM FOR THE HEAD!" The officer shouted. Bubblegum destroyed the front line. She used her new faithful robot leg to knock them all out instantly. All that was left was the officer and I.
"Officer. Hold fire." I said. Bubblegum panted.
"Nice plan. Sky" She said. still panting.
"You trust these things?" The officer asked.
"You should too." I said. I pulled a thumbs up towards Bubblegum. She smiled back.
"I would never trust these things! They've killed most of my men!" He shouted at me.
"First of all. No we didnt. Everypony is alright." Bubblegum said. The officer poked me. He wispered into my ear.
"Why does it say Everypony?" He asked.
"Part of their language." I replied.
"Well! Then were are my men!" The officer asked in a angry tone.
"Right now. I cant get them to you, unless you call off the attack." Bubblegum said. The officer pulled out his Walkie talkie.
"Yeah... mhm...... Stop the attack..... Yeah yeah i know..." He pushed a button and slid it back into its holster. "There. Its off." A small hovercraft appeared above them and a bunch of Hi-Tech PRAWN suited people were in them.
"Put your hands in the air Ranger!" One of them shouted.
"Who the hell said you could be here! UFST!" I shouted. One of them tapped onto their microphones.
"We got the Rogue Ranger." I knew I was screwed when they said that. Bubblegum charged straight at the commander and knocked him out on sight.
"Hurry!" Bubblegum said harshly, galloping off. I followed her. I brung the SVU so I was able to follow her quicker. I could already see the attack was only delayed. Already the bombers were dropping Plasma bombs onto the giant castle.
"Well, that didn't work." I said.
"BUBBLEGUM! THEY GOT THE PRINCESS!" Cupcake shouted from the CAB.
"Luna.." Celestia said in a moan.
"I will keep the cycle together sister." Luna said, dropping tears.
"Look after Equestria...." She said, her eyes closing and her grip dropping.
Suddenly the sun grew brighter then before. It was shaking. "What the hell is that on about?"
"The Princess is dead." Bubblegum said. Looking over towards Canterlot. Currently I was at the Cortana, waiting for Jay to return. The sun was setting. And I felt slightly colder. Like something was in the air. That something was going to happen. "We need to get a disguise for you. If these things control Equestria then they will find you instantly. Thankfully I just have the pony."
"Well. Now that I have the UFST on me. Its going to be even more painful to get to earth. I said. Thankfully the Aphelion landed right inside the Cortana. "I'll go talk to my friend, the Cortana will follow you." I said. Running over to the Cortana.
Gunshots. Alot of them. I swear to god, i'm never getting of this planet. "Jay!" I said, running over towards the Aphelion. He pulled a gun at me
"What the hell is the enemy doing near us!" He said, aiming the gun towards my head.
"Jay. Calm down." I said. He pulled the trigger.
I woke up knocked out. I had no clue where I was, with a quick look around I realised I was on Bubblegum's Airship. "Hello?" I called out.
"Were about to arrive at Marshmallow's secret lab" Bubblegum said. Trotting next to me.
"Alright. Just, who is Marshmallow?" I asked.
"Somepony I used to know." Bubblegum replied.
"Alright." I said, standing up. The ship shook from the hard landing. But we managed to get off the ship before any more damage was dealt towards it. We were in front of a rock. "Its just a rock." I said. Bubblegum tapped it 3 times. A secret door opened and she crawled in. I followed her. "Wheres Cupcake?" I asked.
"Shes looking after the CAB." Bubblegum replied. We continued to go down. Until we reached some sort of wooden walled hallway. "Marshmallow!" Bubblegum called out.
"What is it now Bubblegum! I've already had to dealt with nearly everypony!" Marshmallow said back.
"We got someone you might want to meet!" Bubblegum said.
"No thanks! I'm already full!" Marshmallow said.
"Thats it. I give up." I said, heading back the other way.
"Whats wrong?" Bubblegum asked.
"I'm going to call the Aphelion and overdrive my ship towards Earth. I'm sick of this." I said.
"Well. Bye then?" Bubblegum said.
With a quick tap of my phone the Aphelion arrived next to me. I hopped in and said hello to APS. "Hey APS." I said.
"I've already found some minerals that can overdrive our Pulse Drive turning years into minutes." APS Said.
"Send the ship up to orbit. Lets go home." I said. I'm done. I've made enough credits to live. I'm just going to settle down and never get involved with this again.
