Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry, after years of trying to have a child, Twilight now finally falls pregnant with their first child and now have to face the challenges of having children and princesshood.
Twilight and Flash have been married for a couple of years now and finally are going to have a child. Twilight will now have to deal with the troubles of having a child, a new student and her princess duties, as Flash will try to help his wife from all of this trouble. While their daughter, will be the biggest disaster in their lives.

Ponyville is home to the happily married couple Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Flash Sentry. They lived in the the Castle of Friendship with Spike and Starlight Glimmer. In one of the many rooms of the castle was Twilight and Flash laying next to each other on their bed.
Flash was rubbing Twilight’s belly as it was holding the child of the soon to be parents. Twilight had her eyes closed as she spoke “Flash, can you please stop doing that so we can get some sleep” She said referring to herself and her child.
The stallion let out a frustrated sigh “Fine, but I just can’t wait to see our new little filly” said Flash as he started to lay down on his side and place his forelegs on her side and swollen belly. And in a few minutes, he heard Twilight snoring which, made Flash smile right before the same darkness that took over his wife’s vision, also took his.
“FLASH SENTRY! GET YOUR LAZY BUTT IN HERE” Yelled a very angry Princess from somewhere in the castle.
The said stallion jumped up from his bed, and landed head first on the ground of the bedroom. Flash started to rub his head and think what did his wife want with him. He started to look around and noticed that it was still in the middle of the night. Another thing he noticed was that his wife was not in bed.
“Uh… Twi, where are you?” asked a concern stallion about his wife’s whereabouts.
“IN THE BATHROOM”
In a few seconds, Flash busted through the nearby bathroom that was next door to their bedroom. What he discovered was that his wife clutching her stomach, and around her back legs was a small puddle of clear liquid. All the stallion can do was just stare straight at the belly as he heard her make a small groan. “Get… Me… To the… Hospital...NOW!”
Flash immediately went to Twilight’s side and started to move her out of the bathroom with her groaning in pain every few seconds which worried Flash. In the stallion’s head, he just kept wondering why the baby was coming so soon as the doctors said she would give birth in about a month. Before he even made it halfway through the room, the door open to reveal a very concern Spike and Starlight Glimmer.
“Twilight?! What happen, is the baby ok?!” said the baby drake as he went to her side with concern in his voice. All Twilight could do was nod at his question as another pain went through her.
Meanwhile, Starlight went behind the princess to discover something shocking. “Flash, I’m sorry but we can’t take her to the hospital!” Starlight stated as she use her magic to push her Spike and Flash out of the way.
“What do you mean Starlight?” asked the pegasus as he went behind Twilight to see what she meant. The stallion could clearly see something coming from her behind as he went to look. His pupils went to the sizes of pebbles and then looked to Spike “Spike, I need you to get more towels from the laundry room!”
All the little drake did was just stare at Flash, Starlight and Twilight as his tiny mind couldn't comprehend that his best friend and adopted sister was finally going to be a mother. Spike never realized that he stood there without responding for a good 1 minute until Flash and Starlight yelled at him “GO” as he ran out of the room to get more towels.
While the group had a small delamay, Twilight meanwhile started to lay down on the floor of the dirty bathroom as she finally screamed in pain. Both mare and stallion who were standing up, immediately to her side. Starlight, using her magic to grab a couple of towels that were in the room and put them around the mare who was in labor. Flash, started to hold his wife’s hoof as she had her eyes closed and kept groaning in pain.
“How do you know what to do Starlight?” asked Flash with curiosity.
“I read about it in a couple of books in the medical field just as a precaution if the Princess went into labor a couple months early” Replayed the light pink unicorn. Before Flash asked another question, Starlight went to talk to the alicorn “Twilight, I need you to push during your next contraction”
Twilight nodded at her words and when she felt another one rippled through her, she started to push. The purple mare felt her child move inside of her as she pushed as well as the felling of more pain. “It hurts” she whimpered as she tighten her grip on her husband's hoof who in return, whimpered in pain.
“I know my love, but be strong for our child” replied Flash who would whelp in pain from time to time as his wife’s hoof was strong as it could crush his bones.
Just then, the door suddenly opened, to reveal Spike with a handful of towels, rags, and a blanket for the child. Too bad that Twilight was position in a way that made the little baby dragon see part of the the child coming from her. Spike fainted at the sight and all the stuff he carried was thrown into the air but was caught by Starlight’s magic.
“We will have to talk to him later about this” Starlight said as she put most of the towels around Twilight, while Flash nodded to what she said but, then whimpered as his hoof was crushed again.
Twilight for her most part kept pushing at every contraction and every time it came. Starlight took her time to prepare and every now and then, she would help Twilight with the procedure and from time to time would say where her child would be. Finally, after an intense hour, Starlight said to Twilight “One more push and your child we be born.”
The alicorn nodded and when her final contraction hit her in full force, she pushed with all her might. Twilight wanted to lay down and go to sleep since this experience worn her out but, something stopped her. It was the cries of a newborn foal.
“Congratulations, it’s a girl!” said Starlight as she was holding a newborn. Twilight eagerly took her child as she was covered in a blanket by Starlight before handing her over. The alicorn slowly started to cradle her baby a little, so their daughter would stop crying for a bit.
Both Flash and Twilight took the time to look at their daughter. She was a pegasus just like her father, her coat was reddish purple and her mane and tail was a deep shade of blonde with a light yellowish green in the middle. Her wings would flutter every now and again, but the strange thing was that the wing on her left was the same as her coat. But her right wing was a different color as it was dark blue in color. Finally, the newborn filly open her eyes to reveal two bright velvet orbs.
“She’s beautiful.” Twilight said as she nuzzled her daughter.
“I know.” replied Flash as he went to kiss Twilight’s forehead, under the base of her horn.
Starlight took this time to get out of the room to leave the new parents in peace. She also, used her magic to grab Spike from the ground and started to get out. Before she left, a thought occurred to her as she turn around to say something to the new parents. “You guys should really get out of the dirty bathroom and go into your room.” After she said that, the door closed shut and left the new parents with the same idea to get out of the room.
About a few minutes passed as Twilight and Flash layed in their bed with their daughter sound a sleep in the new mother’s hooves. Both had huge smiles on their faces but a yawn from the mother made them sleepy. “What should we name her?” said the stallion to his mare.
After thinking for a few minutes, Twilight Sparkle finally came up with an answer. “Her name is Star Ray Stream, or Starry for short.”
It was a stressful night for Twilight as she was nursing her newborn child in her bed. After Starry was done and started to fall asleep, both Twilight and Flash deicide that in the morning, they would send a message to the alicorn’s main doctor that child was born. Both later drifted to sleep, with Starry in Twilight’s hooves.
Flash was the one to wake up first with a yawn as his night was also tiresome. He looked over to his right to see that his wife was still sleeping and Starry still in her hooves. Twilight was always still in her sleep whenever she hold something like a book but now, she was holding their daughter which brought a small smile on his face. His muzzle went closer to Twilight’s cheek and gave her a small kiss which in turn, made the princess open her eyes.
“I love it when you do that you know” she said as she nuzzled her beloved. While they did that, Starry started to wake up from her nap with a yawn with her bright purple eyes looking around in wonder. Both of the filly’s parents noticed that their daughter was awake and Twilight went to hold her child closer to her chest.
“My sweet little angel, did we wake you up?” The princess said as she went for a nuzzle on her muzzle. As soon as she nuzzled her, the doors to their bedroom opened to reveal a nervous Spike as he ran towards the bed saying the words “TWILIGHT!”
With Spike yelling those words, Starry started to cry to the new very loud voice. Both Flash and Twilight went and shushed Spike before he came any closer. Twilight went and started to cradle her child to stop her from making and more noise.
Spike went up to them and whispered to the three of them saying “Sorry”
After the child stopped with her crying, she went right back to sleep as Twilight went to reply to the baby drake in a whisper “Spike, could you be a little bit more quieter when Starry is around” All Spike did was nod his head to confirm that he understood.
Flash in the meantime, started to get out of the bed and go to the door to make something for his wife as she didn't want to leave her newborn alone. When he was about to open the door, it opened again to reveal Starlight glimmer and his parents, along with Twilight’s. Behind them was Shining and Cadence with little Flurry heart sleeping peacefully on her mother’s back.
“They wanted to see the new addition to the family since Spike kinda told them about Twilight giving birth” said Starlight as she started to move out of the way for the group.
The first to walk into the bedroom was a light yellow pegasus stallion with a jet black mane and tail. His cutie mark was a cloud with some white snow coming from the bottom of the cloud. Flash couldn't see his eyes as he wore sunglasses inside the castle.
“Hello Dad” Flash said as the stallion walked right passed him and stopped dead in his tracks as he was waiting for something or somepony.
“Could you please wait until I'm right next to you honey” A mare’s voice said coming from the door. The mare was a pegasus with a coat that was a deep color of red like blood and her mane and tail were a simple shade of blue with a white strip going down the middle. Her eyes were dark brown and full of worry for her husband as he went ahead of her. As she passed by Flash, he could see her cutie mark of a white blood cell and a needle sticking into the cell.
“I'm sorry Blood but I'm angst to see our granddaughter” he said to a lightstand that was to the right of him. He started to hear slight giggles to his left and heard his wife, Blood Fusion, starting to laugh now. “Could you please stop laughing at me when I try to talk to somepony when in reality, it is an inanimate object”
“I’m sorry but it is just funny when you do that C.C” Blood replayed to her husband, Cold Cloud or C.C. As Flash’s parents had their little chat, both of Twilight’s parents, Night Light and Twilight Velvet, started to go inside the bedroom as well and were followed by Shining and Cadence.
“I hope the baby is ok Nighty” Velvet said to her husband as they started walking to Flash’s parents.
“Me too Velvet” replied Night Light as he started helping the other stallion to his feet.
Meanwhile, Cadence could hear Flurry starting to wake up from her nap as Cadence took her off her back and placed her daughter in front of her.
“You ready to meet your new cousin Flurry?” asked Cadence. All she got was a sleepy nod as the very young princess’s eyes were still shut and she gave out a small yawn as well. The princess of love giggled at her daughter’s response.
“I hope she will like her” asked a nervous Shining Armor who was behind Cadence. The pink princess sighed at that as they had the same conversation about this for the past couple of months.
“Yes Honey, I believe Flurry will like her new cousin” said an annoyed Cadence as she dragged her husband by the ear so she could have a little one on one chat with him about the same stuff again.
The whole group was interrupted by the voice of the new mother. “Um… Hi everypony” said a tired Twilight as she was still holding the sleeping child in her hooves. Everyone stopped what they were doing and went to gather around the bed to see the new addition to the family. But before they got close, Twilight whispered to them to be quite as Starry was still sleeping in her pink blanket.
They all gathered around the bed (with Blood helping Cold) and all of them could not hold an loud “Aww” to seeing the new born.
“What's her name Twilight?” Asked Cadence who was holding Flurry in her hooves so she can get a better look at her new cousin.
“Star Ray Stream or Starry, Cadence”
“That's a great name for her Twilight”
All the noise that was created before was making the new child start to wake up. Her eyes fluttered and her eyes started to move around in wonder as she saw new ponies, and a small baby drake. Starry let out little sounds as she was excited to see new faces.
Flurry Heart was now fully awake to see her new baby cousin as she let out a big scream and saying “MY NEW BABY COUSIN!!!! SHE’S HERE! SHE’S HERE!” over and over again while flying around in circles near the bed after getting out of her mother’s hooves. For some unknown reason, Starry was not distributed by the loud noise Flurry was making.
The blanket that she was wrapped up in, started to unwrap itself from the baby in a faint yellow aura as the 2 year old princess used her magic to get her new cousin in her hooves.
Starry for her part started to do something that most pegasus ponies won’t do when they are just born. She started to fly. Her tiny wings started to flutter and flew towards Flurry Heart.
Everypony was in shock at this (except for Flurry as she was excited to hold her new baby cousin) as baby pegasus wings are not fully developed to fly yet.
“Must be because the baby’s mother is an alicorn” Everypony turned to Blood as she started to leave her husband's side and go to the two youngest ponies in the room. “Can I hold her for a bit Flurry?” Asked Blood. The pinkish white alicorn stood still in the air for a few seconds to consider her offer.
Flurry didn't want to leave her cousin's side as she wanted to hold her for a few more minutes. “You can hold her again right after your grandmother takes a look at her, my sweet niece” said Twilight as she had a soft and warming smile. Flurry Heart nodded to her Aunt and gracefully gave her baby cousin to Blood.
As soon as Starry felt different hooves hold her, her tiny hooves started to grab Blood’s muzzle. The mare just giggled at her granddaughter’s antics as she started to inspect her a little bit more.
Blood had looked at newborns before from time to time as she help deliver newborns from labor. Her granddaughter looked fine but she wanted to go straight to a hospital to see if she really was fine as nopony could not tell how she was from the inside. She finally noticed the different colored tiny wings on her back and gave a soft gasp at seeing them.
Twilight started to worry as she heard Blood’s gasp but the look on her face said otherwise.
Blood had a giant smile on her face that went to her checks. “She’s going to be special you know” said Blood finally after a minute of not talking.
“What do you mean Grandma?” Flurry Heart said as she flew towards her cousin and the mare holding her.
“She's special because of her wings. Different colored wings in Pegasus society means that she is going to have a great impact on the future”
“What do you mean Mom?” All Heads, except Starry as she was playing with Blood’s mane, turned to the door to see Flash there with a plate of haybrowns and toast on his spread wing.
“I never told you about a pegasus with different colored wings did I?” asked Blood. Flash nodded his head as he went to the bed and placed the food next to the nightstand that was near the bed. “Well when a pegasus gets two different colored wings, they will make a great impact on our future”
“I kind of get it now Mom but why am I just hearing about this now?” Replied Flash with a questionable look at his mother.
“Easy Flash, there hasn't been a pegasus with this trait for more than three hundred years” Everypony in the room stood silently as the words took great depth to understand it all.
After a few moments of silence, Blood said something out of the ordinary “Did you know Commander Hurricane also had different colored wings. To be honest, they were the same color as Starry’s wings”
“Interesting trivia about him but what does that have to do with my granddaughter?” Asked Velvet to the mare that was giving them new information about the past.
Before Blood could respond, everypony in the room started to hear shouting from the other side of the door and it started to get louder and louder by the second.
“I WANT TO SEE HER NOW STARLIGHT!”
“You need to stay calm and quiet please as I think the baby might be asleep Rainbow!”
“Well, I'm coming in whether you like it!” The doors open to reveal a concern rainbow maned pegasus mare “OR NOT!”
Rainbow Dash’s outburst started to make Starry cry as the loud noise was hurting her ears. Blood gave the crying infant to her mother as Twilight started to rock her and hum a soft sound to her child. Rainbow realized her mistake and started to say “Sorry sorry sorry” in a hush whisper to not disturb the child.
After a few minutes of trying to calm the small infant, Starry started to close her eyes and fall into a deep sleep yet again.
Rainbow Dash started to walk towards the bed to see if Twilight and the the baby were alright. The cyan pegasus mare was walking a little weird as her pregnant belly was making it difficult to walk.
When she reached the bed, another mare came from the door. Her orange coat and blonde mane with the stetson on top told everypony that it was Applejack.
“Hi ya Twil” said the country mare as she too started to walk towards the bed. Twilight just wanted to be alone with her family but of course Rainbow Dash had to ruin her precious moment with her family.
“Hi Applejack” The lavender alicorn responded to the orange mare.
Some other mares were starting to walk into the room. They were the rest of her friends, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie as they all went to the bed.
Twilight Velvet and Night light wanted to hold their granddaughter once but found that the room was getting a little bit over crowded so they both said their farewells to their daughter and both left the room to go and get some breakfast.
“Come on Flurry, I think our time with your aunt and cousin is up” Cadence said as she too (along with Shining) started to walk away with their daughter in tow.
The young alicorn had her head down as she wanted to spend more time with Starry. Cadence saw this and said to her daughter “Don't worry Flury, you can spend more time with Starry in about an hour or so” Those words got the small alicorn to raise her head and smile wide.
After they left, it was just Blood, C.C, Spike and her friends in the room. Twilight started to look over Applejack very carefully as she was looking for something or somepony. “Where's Bitter Fruit?” Asked Twilight as she wondered where the farm mare’s child was.
Applejack stand still for a few moments before she started to whistle. Something started to stir under the orange mare’s hat as it started to move. The hat lifted from her head to reveal a small child on Applejack’s head.
The child was a filly who was born about three months ago. Her coat was a solid dark purple and her mane was a light indigo color. Her eyes we very small slits as she was a thestral pony. One of the many children of the night as her tiny hooves rubbed her eyes as she was awoken from her sleep. On the head of the filly was the stetson and it made it look like she was wearing it.
The origins of Bitter Fruit were a mystery to everypony. One day, Applejack revealed to her friends and family that she was pregnant though the farm mare would not reveal the father and all she said was that it was a one night stand.
“She's right here Twil” As Applejack used her front left hoof, to point to where her daughter is. “Did you forget about her medical condition and her sleeping schedule?”
“Oh yeah, I forgot about it. I'm sorry Bit” Twilight said to the young thestral as she recalled about her condition. Most of her species can actually live in the sun (contrary to most common belief) but when she was born, doctors discovered that she had a race medical condition called Actinic prurigo (or AP/ PMLE) which when a pony gets into contact with the sun, they start to get itchy, inflamed papules, nodules, and plaques on the skin.
Even though Bit could wear clothes to cover herself, Applejack disliked the idea of her young daughter having to wear clothes so she went with the idea of having her be nocturnal. Though she was against that idea of Bitter being nocturnal for the rest of her life, it was a decision that she thought was best for Bitter.
Bitter on the other hoof, was now staring at the newborn (who was still fast asleep). Her tiny hooves started to reach forward until till she couldn't anymore.
Twilight saw this and started to use her magic to lift up the child from her mother’s head. Applejack started to worry when she felt her daughter being lifted from her head but before she could do anything about it, Blood put her hoof up to Applejack and nodded her head to not do anything.
When Bitter landed next to Twilight on the bed, the new mother put her child next to the other one.
Starry, after being asleep for a few minutes, she started to stir and the first thing she saw was the baby thestral in front of her.
Both stared at each other for a long time until Bitter started to move one of her hooves and put it on Starry’s nose.
After seeing that, everypony in the room could not contain an “Awww” as it was a little cute moment.
“They're going to be great friends one day Applejack” said Twilight as she watched her daughter do the same thing to Bitter again.
“They sure are going to be!” said an excited Pinkie Pie as she started to bounce around the bed.
“And my son will be a ladies colt” said Rainbow Dash as she smirked to Applejack and Twilight.
All of their friends stared at her for a few moments until Fluttershy finally spoke “Uh… well you don't know if it's going to be a colt yet Rainbow”
“Psh… As if. My son will become the best flyer in all the land” All of her friends, Blood, and Flash gave her a questionable look. “Besides me of course”
“To be honest, I would like to have a filly and her be almost like you Rainbow” said Rarity which surprised everypony in the room. “What?” Said the confused white unicorn.
“Never thought you would like the tomboy look for a filly Rare” said Applejack as she started to ruffle up her daughter’s mane which she really enjoyed.
“Well I would like to have one because I would love to make her all looking gorgeous and she being fussy about it. Just the aspect of that makes me want to have a daughter like you Rainbow Dash” replied Rarity with the most dreamiest smile she ever had.
They all stared at her for and started to giggle to each other.
“That's definitely the way I would see you Rarity” said Fluttershy as she went to her friend and started to chat more about the aspect of a tomboy.
All their friends started to chat to each other and Twilight was happy to see her daughter get a lot of love from her friends and family. But she was getting tired and wanted to go to sleep again as giving birth was a stressful process as it took all of her energy out of her. She finally decided that it was time for her friends to go too. “Well I hope you guys had a fun time seeing Starry but I'm getting tired and really want to go to sleep again” the alicorn mare said with a yawn.
All her friends nodded at Twilight as they understand and started to leave. Bitter was a little fussy when she was pulled away from her new friend but when Applejack placed her back on her head with the stetson on top of her, she instantly went back to sleep in the darkness. After everypony left the room, Twilight picked up her child and placed her on her chest. Starry looked up to her mother with wide eyes as she let out a small giggle.
“I love so much right now Starry and can't wait for what the future may hold for you” and after Twilight said that, she went back to sleep with Starry nestled on her chest.
