> Just An Ordinary Fellow > by Zubric > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Terrible OC's are magic > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well i’ll say one thing for sure, there are worse things to wake up to in the morning. For beside my bed, for whatever reason stood the chaotic master himself Discord, an ensemble of various animals mashed together to form nonsensical mythical being of great power.  I rub my eyes a few times, staring at the creature before me.  This couldn’t be real, had to be a dream, just wasn’t possible.   “Uh...hi?” Discord turned his head towards me, smiling deviously. “Oh why hello there, human or should I call you brony as they say hmm?” I open my mouth to speak but cut off by his lion paw. “I know your just speechless aren’t you. I get that a lot.” I lick the inside of my mouth unable to look away. “B-but...how? What?” “When, where why?” Discord retorts as he spun around and posed. “Oh you humans always so flustered over something mystical appearing,” he teased before sitting down on my computer chair. “Anywho i’ll cut to the chase.” With a snap of his talon, the computer turned on showing off the latest mlp site I had been surfing the night before.  ‘You want to go to Equestria don’t you?” I sit up and nod, still rather confused. “Um yeah that be great.” He claps, shaking my hand. “Splended cause I have just the deal for you.” Still a bit dazed, I nod again. “I’m listening.” He snaps making a image of Ponyville appear on screen. “It’s very simple really. I Discord, will transport you to Equestria for one whole day. I”ll even let you choose your avatar. Well not really, the portal reads your mind and spits you out in a form you perfer but pffft that magic technobabble. “ I blink slowly and got out of bed. “W-wait really, you can do that without anything in exchange. Just like that?” my eyes narrow. “What’s the catch?” “No catch my boy, just a favor that all. forefilling dreams and all that gobble guck. Do we have a deal or not?” Not wanting to waste this moment that apparently just fell in my lap, I stick out my hand. “Deal.” Discord shook it and spun around pulling a zipper out of his pocket and sticking it to thin air. He pulls down opening up a swirling portal of rainbow light in front of me. “Go on don’t be a Fluttershy,” he jokes as I slowly approach. Apparently, he  got impatient because I went from standing in front o it and the next second pushed through and started to fall.  The descent only lasted a minutes before I plonked onto the grassy field getting a mouthful of grass.  I spat out the dirt and got to my hooves surprised how well I was use to a new form. “This feels weird.” I say moving my muzzle about.  I slowly spin around to look at my body and smile. “Oh nice,” I say aloud seeing the golden tail and mane and a charcoal black coat. I feel my head noting the horn. “Unicon sweet.” I beam and look down the hill at Ponyville. I adjust the saddle bag Discord gave me and spring my hooves  into the air and run off towards towards town. -------- I took a breath of the spring air as I enter the marketplace. The sun shines bright high noon approuching. It took no time at all to become part of the bustling crowd of bartering ponies going about their business that day. Being just another face in the crowd to the average pony thankfully had its advantages.  I was able to get a few good afternoons from passing ponies and able to take my time looking around. Ponyville is rather nice place afterall, thatched roofs and lots of hearts, so many hearts. After checking out a few famous spots, I get an idea and head back to the market soon smelling the sweet aroma of the mouth watering apples assault my nostrils. Light almost seems to shine off the red apples as they sat in their baskets in splendor.  The rumble of my tummy reminds me of how hungry I had become with all this walking and thus I increased my approach up to the apple stand. Upon reaching the stand, my eyes stare at the orange mare operating it. This was of course Applejack, the strong and honest pony everyone knew.  She adjusts her hat as I stare at her figure. I never realized how muscular those hind legs would look in person. Applejack let out a little cough knocking me out of my trance. “Are ya goin to buy somethin or what?” I felt quite embarrassed once I realize that I had been staring at her for some time now. A light blush radiates on my cheeks. “Oh um y-yeah sorry. Just two apples please.” “Sure thing sugar, that will be one bit.” I watch Applejack put the apples in a small plastic bag. At the same time, I look in the saddle bag I had been given for some bits. Luckily it seemed I was given a few to do shopping and quickly give her the required bit as my tummy rumbles again. “Wow that sounds like one hungry tummy. Did you miss breakfast?” I rub my neck. “Uh hehe kind of,” I give a small as I quickly munch an apple making content sounds as I drink down the juices. “Mmm so good.” “Yup only the best apple pr-oh shoot.” Applejack pokes her head back up from behind her apple cart.   Curious about her distress, I ask. “What’s wrong Applejack?” Applejack blinks at me knowing her name before she even told me. Which was probably good or bad depending on the situation. However, she didn’t seem to ask me that. Instead she looked around her cart once more before looking at me. “Ugh there was this package I was meant to pick up at Rarity’s place before came here.” She looks at me for a second, getting an idea. “Look I know we just met and all, but it be really nice if you could go to Carousel Boutique and pick it up and bring it to me. Would ya do that for me? It be mighty appreciated.” I blink thinking of Rarity and nod. “Sure I can do that for you.” Applejack relaxed her shoulder seeming relieved. ‘Oh that great, just bring it back here as soon as you can okay?”  I nod taking a step away before she calls out again. ”Wait how you know my name before I even told you? i’m not even wearing any ID.” ‘You’re the element of honesty, who wouldn't know your name by now?” I retort calmly as I keep walking away.  I hear her mumble something but I felt I had answered well enough.  So with my apparent new goal in mind, I head along to find Rarity’s store. Despite how small ponyville may look it very confusing. Even after a minute or two of walking I only managed to find town hall and had to ask for directions. Twilight Castle of course stood out in the skyline but that wasn’t my destination, at least not now anyway. After further trotting, I spot the tops of the Carousel Boutique and make my way over.  Along the way, I pass by the oddest sight I had seen yet.  A tall unicorn stallion passed by me, his muscle lean and well kept. His fur was a bright egg shell white. But the actual weird thing was his additional features.  He had stripes similar to a zebra but each strip was a different colour as if the rainbow factory had exploded on him. This stallion also had the most insane mohawk I had ever seen which also had multiple colours.   I swear I was looking at someone overdone OC, I mean the focus was all over the place, hell he even had wings! An alicorn or crying out loud.  The last detail I notice before he turned the corner was the odd medallion he wore around his neck. I couldn’t make out much detail from a distance but it looked like silver metal. I shake my head at the ridiculous sight and head down the street soon entering the store. The little bell above the door rang as I stroll in, getting the attention of the one and only Rarity. “Just a minute,” she calls out as I watch her stitch a button on a short red dress that Fluttershy was modeling at that very moment.  I smile as I wait patiently overhearing their conversation. “Do you think he’ll like it?” Fluttershy asks, while turning slightly to the left as Rarity kept up her fine hoof work. “Oh i’m sure he will. He so handsome.”   I watch Fluttershy blush and wonder who they were talking about. “O-oh yeah he is nice too.” She stands there patiently.  I take the time to look around seeing all the various clothes on display.  Although many were for mares so my interest waned a little. Eventually I remember why I had come here in the first place as Rarity strolled up. “Sorry about that dear, how may I help you?” She asks, as she adjusts her curls. I stare for a few second at her face and her flowing eyelashes. She quite pretty in person , err pony...oh whatever she cute.  I kept eyeing her smooth curves and cutie mark and once more yanked out of fantasy as she gave a disgruntled cough.  Gah I did it again. I thought to myself blushing.   “Well? I haven't got all day,” she looked annoyed swishing her tail. “O-oh right sorry.” I mentally facepalm and look back at her. “I was sent by your friend, Applejack to get some package for her and bring it back.” Rarity rubs her chin and then nods. “Ah yes, that package,” she moves to the other room as a few sounds of boxes being moved are heard before she came back. The box looks like an ordinary small cardboard box with a simple red bow tied around it. “Here we are. Do be careful with it.” I nod moving the box onto my back. “Yeah no problem,” I nod at the unicorn before taking a glance a Fluttershy. “Nice dress, looks good on you,’ I complement being nice.  The pegasus seemed to blush and let out a squeak, trying to make herself smaller.   Having a job to do, I wave and quickly head out. As I exit, I hear the muffled voice of Fluttershy commenting on how nice I am. I’ll admit that made me feel good. “Well that went well.”  I continue my stroll back towards the market humming a gentle tune. Suddenly from out of nowhere, a bright pink pony jumped out in front of me beaming bright. “Hey there!” I note to myself that it is none other than Pinkie Pie herself. That high pitch voice is unmistakable. I jump back at holding my hoof to my chest. I take deep breaths. “Gah, don’t scare me like that!” I double check that I still had the gift and sigh before I glance back at Pinkie who was simply bems as usual. “Sorry about that. I just thought I would say hello, cause you’re a new pony in town. I love meeting new ponies. Are you staying or passing through?” I blink a few times rubbing my neck, trying to think of a good way to answer. “Um, well just for today really. Just helping out Applejack with this package that she needed from Rarity.” “Oooh, you met my friends? That’s great, of course everypony my friend cause i’m super duper nice,” as she talked she bounced around me like party vulture. She took another breath, seeming to get an idea as a lightbulb lit up above her head out of nowhere. “That’s it. I throw a party for every new pony in town, but since you're only in for the day I could still throw a party, but there's this other new pony and I just happen to be making him one too. Oh, oh you could come to that party and it be like a double party!” She beams now holding my cheeks with her hooves. I gently push her back and cough. “Oh a party well um I guess It can’t hurt.” I had no reason not to attend a Pinkie Pie party; Who wouldn’t want to go to one? She’s awesome. “Great, just come to Sugercube Corner around four,” she clapped. “You know where that is right?”  I nod figuring it be easy to find since I had at least three hours till then. ‘Great see you then.” With the flurry of a dust cloud she was off vanishing before my eyes. “Wow things are almost going too smoothly. Better not jinx it.” I tell myself before heading back the way I came to reach the market.  Everything was going pretty smoothly as I pass a few buildings listening to the idle sounds of town life around me. I pass by a mare who was selling flowers and politely wave as I continue on my way humming a delightful tune.  Once I spot Applejack’s cart, I race across the market, only to yelp when I get ployed over by an orange pegasus filly on her scooter.  The filly screams as we both topple over and crash into a vegetable cart sending the mare produce all over the ground and upon my face. “Sorry!” The filly squeaks, quickly scrambling to her hooves, wiping off the mashed tomatoes. “You okay?” I groan, slowly rising to my hooves. I stretch my neck a bit wiping away the smashed tomatoes.  The filly kept glancing at me looking worried. ‘I’m fine mostly.” I stretch out my back, feeling an ache in my side. “You came out of nowhere kid.” The orange filly, who I now recognize as Scootaloo, rubs her neck. “Sorry you kind of came out of nowhere. I thought I was in the clear.” My hoof feels my side a bit and quickly look around for the present. “It’s okay really, i’m fine.” As I look I can see the cart owner glares daggers at me. I gasp and sudden look around, my hooves dancing about. “Where the box?”  I dart my head around spinning in place to look for it. The filly was quick to point it out in the middle of the street. Thankfully, Applejack was a welcome sight as she picks up her package before trotting over. “Wow you okay there?” I nod, hoping her package hadn’t been damaged in the crash. ‘Yeah I”m fine, been in worse scrapes than that.” “Well that’s good to hear. Thank again for getting this for me. Hope It wasn’t too much trouble.” I shake my head, giving a smile in return “No not too much. I ran into your friend PInkie Pie along the way, she was...unique.” “Eeyup, that’s Pinkie for ya. I recon she invited ya to a party didn’t she?” I nod happily. “Yeah said something about somebody else’s party and it being a double party. Who’s this other pony anyway? You have any clue?” ‘Mmhmm, tall, white stallion with a rather earth pony build for unicorn but fine looks.” I shake my head rapidly as I recall something from earlier. “Wait was this stallion covered in stripes?” “Now don’t tell me you’re racist against Zebra’s now? Nothing wrong with features like that.” “Racist? No, no but he looks like he had paint explode all over him, ridiculous as a clown.” Applejack adjusts her hat, her eyes narrowing. “I don’t take kindly to ponies who judge another solely by their looks.” Says the pony who got freaked out over Zecora. ‘Still, doesn’t he look a bit well strange? He has more colours than Rainbow Dash, and that’s saying something.” Applejack let out a snort as she chuckles. “I guess, but still no reason to judge somepony based on appearances. He a nice stallion through and through.” I rub my back definitely not buying the words that came out of her mouth. There no way anypony would find that thing normal. I take the two bits she offers me, and smile back at her. “Nice talking with you, maybe i’ll see you later.”  She says her goodbyes and i’m soon off again looking around Ponyville.  Several minutes of calm strolling later and I come across a nice looking music store.  Having not much else to do, I go inside to take a look. Smooth jazz is heard bellowing out of a record playing near the front counter. Behind it sat at light grey pegasus who was idly counting bits. She gave one look at me and waves me inside to look around. My shoulders relax as I listen to the beat, taking a gander at the selection. It wasn’t like I was going to buy anything but the horse puns could always gets a chuckle or two out of me. Just as I was about to head back to the front, I feel a hoof tap my shoulder.  Curious, I turn about and blink. “Oh wow, it’s you again. What a surprise meeting you here huh?” The multi striped stallion spoke, a voice that sounded rather childish for his apparent age. My eyes once again glance at the amulet around his neck. I wasn’t sure but something about it just felt off. Not wanting to draw attention to my suspicions just yet, I reply. “Yeah small town I guess. So you’re that other new pony in town?” Was kind of a dumb question sure, but never hurt to act innocent. “Yup Rainbow Splash, nice to meet you and your name?” Rainbow Splash? Dare I even ask why his name sounds like an innuendo? Or for all I know he has some weird obsession with getting a date with Rainbow Dash. There was one thing I knew for sure, at least it matched his insane look.   “Oh Gold Rush, um nice to see you,” I gave an awkward smile. “So another fan of the show brought here by Discord eh?” He prods my side smiling. I blink in surprise. “Oh er, um how did you guess? Wait he sent more?”  I ask, rubbing the back of my neck. “I could just tell by the way you looked around,” he rolls his eyes. ‘I must say your pretty bland looking.” LIke you are one to talk! “Excuse me? Bland? Well at least I don’t look like into a rainbow mister alicorn,” I huff out bitterly. He rolls his eyes again, acting all high and mighty, which only drove me nuts. “It’s called being awesome. Why would I want to be one species that so pfft like ordinary,” he headed up the front, setting his purchase on the counter. As if I’d let him just ignore me. I follow him out quickly, the mare blinking a few times at our odd conversation. “Ordinary? I’m hardly ordinary, to say the least.” He laughs as he kept on walking, not even bothering to look back. “Yeah whatever uni. I happen to have made lots of friends since I came here. Everypony adored me,” he voice just rang out arrogance, as if he could get away with anything.  His behaviour just made me grind my teeth. “In fact the main cast love me.” I gasp as I remember Fluttershy’s conversation earlier. That was impossible, Rarity alone would have scoffed at his clash of colours. I act innocent my suspicions about that amulet he wore increasing. “Ha, that’s a good one, as if they tolerate someone like you.” He stops and turns to face me as I close the distance. “Oh you’re just jealous that I’ve made friends and you haven’t,” he suddenly wraps his foreleg around me, proding my chest. “I’m feeling generous today so how about you come to the party PInkie Pie is throwing me. I”m sure she won’t mind, and who knows maybe you’ll make friends. I doubt it though.” he laughs and trots away without another word. My muscles tighten as I stood there grumbling under my breath with rage. Oh the nerve of that stallion. Something fishy going on here. Just as I was about to continue on my way, I heard a voice in a nearby bush. ‘Pssst, hey you,” the voice sounded young and familiar. Not but a moment later I knew who it was as Spike’s purple head poked out the bush. “You don’t like him either huh?” he asked coming out of his hiding spot after double checking the abomination was out of hearing range. I nod looking down at him. ‘Yeah no kidding, he smug, arrogant, and friends with Twilight and the others. That’s just not possible.” “It not just Twilight, it’s everypony he comes across,” he unroll a scroll, showing off the various pony names and statistics.  “You seem to be immune to that artifact he wearing.” I blink, my eyes going wide. “Of course! That’s makes perfect sense now. What do you know Spike?” “Wait how you know-” “That’s not important, just tell me,” I felt a sense of urgency come over me as I put a hoof to Spike chest. ‘O-okay okay. As far as I can tell that thing around his neck glows idly whenever somepony near him and they act all nice and stuff to him. No matter what he does the reaction somehow positive,” his fists clamp into a ball. ‘He even kicked me across the room and Twilight didn’t react negatively to it.” I wince and nod. “That jerk got to pay. So how do we go about fixing this. I assume we just have to get  jewelry off his neck for starters.” Spike nods and snaps his claw. ‘Exactly, but I haven’t had a chance to get close to him all day. I think he even suspects i’m not affect by his funky magic.” “So that’s where I come in correct?” I put the dots together as we walk along the road together. ‘Yeah I watched the whole thing play out. He doesn't suspect you at all, you could snatch it and then I shatter it with my fire breath,” he blew out a small stream to demonstrate. “Why your breath and not just smash it on the ground?” “Well I have a theory on that really. I match the gem around his neck to one in this book about enchanted gemstones and it strongly hinted that the only way to dispel anything cast into it was by something just as powerful.” I high five the little dragon. “Oh that’s clever. So what’s the plan?” --------- As Four o'clock rolled around, I arrive at Sugarcube Corner. Spike had given me directions so finding it was easy enough. He was no doubt already inside with Twilight setting up his part of our plan.  Wasn’t a very complicated plan but one none the less.  I near the door and jump back a bit when Pinkie Pie peeks her head out the door. “Oh yeah, you made it. Come on in, Rainbow isn’t here yet. The other Rainbow I mean,” she snorts a bit. “Double rainbows.” Oh dear god, not Generation Three.  I shiver and head inside seeing the usual party phernelia strewed about the room. The other members of the mane six were present idly going about chatting or relaxing as they do. I stroll over to the snack table staring at the deserts.  Upon grabbing one of the gooey brownies, I hear Applejack behind him.  ‘Howdy there, nice to see you again,” she offers a hoof to bump which I happily return. “Er thanks, feeling mutual. Pinkie sure does know how to set up a party.” The farmer nodded, taking a glass of punch in her hoof. “Eeyup, Pinkie never was one for doing things halfway.” I watch her take a sip of her drink and nod before letting out a cough. “Look i’m sorry for staring earlier.” Applejack chuckles before she took another sip. “Shoot, you aren’t the first stallion to stare ya know. But mighty kind of you to apologize anyway, gladly appreciated.” Her response was a bit off, I couldn’t be sure she was being sincere or that amulet was still messing with her mind even if he wasn’t near by.  After a bit of casual talk, I focus my efforts once more at my task and spot Spike proudly standing next toTwilight, holding a list as he checked something off for her. He waves me over to the closet and I follow. Once knowing w were alone, he spoke. “Man everypony acting more entranced then usual. I sure hope this works.” I nod. “Me too, I can’t wait to see him get what’s coming to him.” As if on cue, the guest of honour arrived strolling into the room with a smile plastered on his egotistical face. He didn’t even bother to conceal the amulet as it glittered in the light.  I look around seeing the faintest of glows in each of the mane six’s eyes. Pinkie bounces over to him putting a party hat on his head. “Yay you made it,” she claps as he walks passed her and over to the snack table. Rainbow Dash high fived him making me clench my teeth. That self insert didn’t deserve such praise. He seems to dense to notice my glare as he strolls up to me. “Hey buddy, what’s up man glad you made it,” he acts nonchalant about the whole thing making my loathing grew like a weed. “We are not buddies pal,” I hiss, seeing him roll his eyes as he put his hoof around my neck.  His amulet was within reach but I had to wait for just the right moment or else risk the two magic users in the room from snatching it away from me. “You my friend are just jealous that I got you here to meet all these lovely ladies.” he nudges my side as I hear Rarity giggle at the compliment. Now was my best chance to ask as he was to caught up in his own game. “Well they are pretty fine. How about a group photo for the such a great guy,” I smirk knowing full well i’m playing into this brats ego. Just like that he took the bait as Spike went to get the camera. “Sure why not. Everyone loves me anyway.” We move over to the counter as Spike got the camera propped up. I try to stand as close as I could to the other guest although Twilight and Dash took up either side of him grinning wide.  I silently groan and watch Spike adjust the lens.   “Okay perfect,” he gave a thumbs up. “Okay say cheese.” “Cheese!” Everypony said as they smile. I close my eyes and hear the flash.  The ponies around me shreek, dazed the otherly bright flash. “I can’t see!” Rainbow Splash rubs his eyes “You stupid dragon.”  I take my chance and yank the amulet off his neck tossing it to Spike. As his vision cleared he gasps. “Give it back you-”   Spike cut him off as he takes a deep breath and blew on the amulet hard with his dragon fire. The crystal heated up rapidly shattering in his claws unleashing a small wave of green energy outwards.   The mane six froze for second at their eyes slowly returned to normal.  I gasp and manage to dodge as Splash threw a punch at me. “You ruined everything,” he tries again as I jump back.   “Wow what happened.” Applejack said staring at the guest. Rainbow Splash whines, held in Twilight magic grip. “No why couldn’t you let me just dream while I was here.” I look at him struggling. “Cause you were manipulating them and you were very nice.” Rarity scoffs ‘He used magic on us how unco.” “No! I’m the best pony ever!” he struggle smore as Twilight glared. “You kicked Spike for no reason.” “Honestly are you really trying to make me the bad guy?” I ask, gesturing to the others. “Cause I’m pretty sure they're on my side.” “Screw you , I was only going to be here for a few days. But now you ruined it,” He tantrums,  flailing  about in the air. I stand firm as the other rub their heads.  “Hey I was at least nice and didn’t try to abuse some power. How did you get that thing anyway?” Just as he was about to blurt out something, Discord appeared in a burst of confetti and flashing stage lights. “I can explain that,” he says before clapping. “What a show, what a show.” “Discord!” Twilight groans, her wings spread out to look imposing.  I look at Discord as well realizing now how he had other motives to help me get to Equestria other then my amusement.  I facehoof lightly, silently groaning too. “I should have know.” “Oh don’t feel bad little pony,” he pats my head, smirking softly. “I just couldn’t help myself.” he floats over to Rainbow Splash. “I mean just look at him, he got clown all over him.” ‘Hey!” Everyone laughs at him for a second as Discord popped a red nose on the end of his muzzle. “You said i’d get everything i’d ever want without consequence.” Discord laughs again pulling me and Splash under his arms. “Oh what you think this was, a self insert fanfiction.” The mane six all groan in unison except Pinkie, who seems to be lightly snickering. Rainbow Splash shoved away. “W-whatever not like I needed your help!” he juts at Discord. Discord shook his head picking him up by the neck like a kitten. “Au contraire my little pony, you did need my help and I shall help you again by sending you home.” “Put me down!” he squirms and kicks more as Discord opened a portal with a zipper holding the alicorn freak over it. “Poor choice of words,” with one quick motion, he let go sending the alicorn falling into the swirling tunnel. “You pay for this you-” Zip!  Discord claps his hands together as I look at him.  “You’re not sending me back are you?” I ask as I look at the elements and Spike. “No my boy, not till at least sunset. You haven’t done anything wrong afterall.”  The mane six look at me puzzled and I blush. There be lots of explaining to do that’s for sure. Discord smiles yet again and pat my back. “Well I’ll let you enjoy your party tootles.” In a flash he was gone leaving me to put the pieces back together. PInkie bounced over. “Oooh, with that meanie gone I guess you get all our gifts.” I shrug not really caring for presents. “I guess so, let’s have nice party shall we.” Pinkie nodded and starts up the music yet again.  Over the next hour or so, I mingled telling them about my own world and such.  Twilight of course knew mostly of what I was mention.  Well kind of was a totally different universe but she got that whole multiple realities thing pretty easy. “So...wait were a TV show?” Twilight asks tilting her head. I nod. “Yeah kind of hard to wrap your head around, I mean Discord being real is confusing me enough. “Or you could be dreaming,” Pinkie blurts after sipping the last of her milk shake. The others look at her as he blinks. ‘What? It’s possible as anything else.” I end up laughing, nodding at her suggestion. “That’s true, be kind of cop out but still.” I eat another one of Applejack’s fitters and make a content sound as swallow. “Thanks for the nice time you guys, was a blast.” “No problem at all, you been quite nice,” the other agree as I smile and Discord at the door. ‘Bleh, so heart warming,” he rolled his eyes. “Afraid the little pony time is up now.” “Awww,” I sigh. “Can’t I have just a sleep over?” Surprisingly, Discord chuckles. ‘A sleep over with a bunch of mares, are you sure your not a stallion,” he playfully teases. “No a deal is a deal, one day. Sunrise to sunset.” I grumble at the fact it hadn’t quite been a full day but was still as blast.  “This may sound cheesy but uh can I get a group hug before I go? I mean you don’t have to.” The mares look at each other and i’m soon pulled into a group hug. A smile came across my face as I feel the warmth and freindship.  Bleh, I was right, that was cheesy.  Soon the hug ends and I say my goodbyes.  I move up to Discord and shake his hand.  “This better not be a dream.” The chaos king shrugged and unzips the swirling portal. “Anything a dream in it’s own right.” he smiled and tips his hat that was now upon his head. “Now get.’ I blink and then meep as he slaps my flank sending me tumbling into the swirling void screaming as I fall. It felt like I fell for a minute before popping out and dropping onto my bed with a light bounce.  I turn over on my bed watching the portal close up, disappearing without a trace.  For a while, I just stare up the ceiling jaw hanging over in awe. It was real. Every single moment had actually happened. “That..was..awesome.”
