This story is about my life in Ponyville, as I write stories and adventures ever to happen to me from Ponyville in my diary.
This is about the Diary I am writing about the adventures I had or have in Ponyville and in some of the other places like Canterlot. While I will include all or most of the characters from MLP, this is not all about them for most or some of the chapters. While I will write mentioning some of them, it is about me in Ponyville as I put Other from "Main Characters". Think of me as if I traveled to Ponyville.
---------------My unexpected arrival in Ponyville and a strange sight---------------
When I opened my eyes, I was in somewhere in the fields. I went to the nearest pond to wash my face. When I went to the pond, I was shocked and screamed. I saw and realized that I am a Unicorn. When I was about to hesitate what to do, I heard someone shouting for help. I ran towards to see what was going on. There, I saw a creature that I have never seen before. It was a Unicorn with wings, along with a baby dragon. I later noticed that the Unicorn was about to be attacked by the other creature that is not far from them. At first I struggled myself. However, I was able to help them as I shouted to the other creature
"Leave them alone!"
Soon enough, that other creature ran away. I know a Unicorn and a dragon before but I never saw that other creature before, even when it looked familiar.
"Hey, are you alright there?" I asked the Unicorn.
It opened the eyes and said
"Thank you! I am Twilight Sparkle, and this is Spike. What's your name?"
I struggled for a moment at first. Then I said "My name is Hoobe"
"I never saw you before" she said.
"That's because I'm new here and I do not remember something recently and got lost." I said.
"I'll show you around" she said.
"You want to show me around?" I asked.
"Sure why not? You said that you are new here." she said.
I could not refuse her offer. She told me that I was in Ponyville and also told me about her friends who are Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and also Fluttershy.
---------------Meeting Rainbow Dash for the first time---------------
While she and I were walking along the way, I had a very strange feeling. Someone was about to dash right at me and maybe even Twilight.
So to make sure that Twilight and I won't get bumped, I said "Look Out!"
and quickly we went to the other side of the road with Twilight. She was surprised of what I just did and was also surprised that we were able to dodge right away. She told me that I must have a future prediction.
"No, it was not a future prediction! I just had a feeling and heard something coming our way, that's all." I said.
I later noticed that the creature that was going to dash towards me was no other than the Pegasus named Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash asked me "Hey, how did you do that?"
I said "Do what? Dodging or getting out of the way? It was nothing really, I just heard someone coming toward me that's all. Are you Rainbow Dash? Twilight told me about you"
"Well yeah. Why would you ask me that?" She said.
"Well, it's because I am new here and I don't think I saw you before." I said
"Well, I was gonna give you a surprise. Anyway, I'll see you around later" she said.
"See you around Rainbow Dash" I said.
---------------Pinkie Pie and a short moment---------------
While I was still walking with Twilight, we met a pink pony.
She explained to me "That is Pinkie Pie. One of my friends"
"Hi Pinkie Pie, I am Hoobe. I am new here" I said.
Pinkie did not say anything for a moment. Soon she got surprised for a moment and just kept on jumping away.
"Is she always like that?" I asked.
Spike then said "Oh yeah, Pinke pie likes to party so that's what she usually do."
"Come on, I'll show you around more" said Twilight.
---------------Glamorous Rarity---------------
Next we arrived at the house that has a glamorous look. It is no other than a Carousel Boutique. When we went inside, I cannot believe what I was watching. It was a collection of clothing.
"Here are the gems you needed!" said Twilight.
"Why thank you Twilight!" said a Unicorn. "And who is this?"
Twilight introduced me to that Unicorn who is Rarity and Rarity to me.
"Please to meet you Rarity. You have a nice collection of clothing you got there." I said.
"Thank you Hoobe!" said Rarity.
Just then, I noticed the smaller unicorn, just besides Rarity.
"Who is that?" I asked.
"That's my sister Sweetie Belle" said Rarity.
"Hi Sweetie Belle! I'm Hoobe" I said.
"Hi Hoobe!" said Sweetie Belle.
"Come on Hoobe, I still have a few more things I need to show you" said Twilight.
"OK, Twilight. I'm on my way!" I said. "See you around later Rarity and Sweetie Belle!"
---------------Applejack and her apples---------------
Next, we arrived at a barn.
Twilight asked me "Do you like apples?"
"Yes, I do" I answered.
Just then a pony came from the barn and said "Howdy Twilight! Who is that?"
Twilight introduced that pony whose name is Applejack to me and introduced me to Applejack.
"Hey Applejack!" I later said "So is it true that you and your whole family has a lot of collection of apple trees?"
"Yes we do" Applejack said.
"Do you need any help, by the way?" I asked. "You seemed like you are working and just wondering if you ever need any help."
"That'll be great!" Applejack said.
She then gave me some instructions of what to do. She told me the story about her family, while I was helping her. She told me about her younger sister Applebloom, her older brother Big Macintosh or Big Mac, and her grandmother Granny Smith.
After I helped her, a younger pony named Applebloom came to me and Applejack and said "Thanks for helping my sister. You have had a great help!"
Big Mac came to us and said "Yup".
Granny Smith also came and said "Why you are a great helper there Hoobe!"
"It really was nothing." I said. "I was just helping Applejack. That's all."
I told her family more about apples, as in how I eat apples almost everyday and also about some facts about apples. I also told them that my Aunt owns the field of fruits and vegetables but mostly vegetables and how I help her along with her side of her family for most of the times.
"Are you done Hoobe?" Twilight asked me.
"I believe I am, unless if she needs more help" I said
"I think that's all" said Applejack.
"OK then. Let's be on our way!" said Twilight. "See you later!" I said as I left with Twilight.
---------------Animals in the cottage with Fluttershy---------------
We then arrived at the cottage.
"Do you like to take care of animals?" she asked me.
"Sure I do" I said. "I used to take care of fish and a puppy later"
When we went into that place, I was surprised to see that there are many different kind of animals inside there. I also felt that they were talking to me.
A Pegasus flew to me and said. "Hi there, I have never seen you before."
"That's because I'm new here." I said.
Twilight then introduced me to that Pegasus who's name is Fluttershy and Fluttershy to me.
"You seemed to have a lot of animals here." I said "Where do they live?"
"Oh they live right here at my cottage" Fluttershy said.
I was a little surprised to what Fluttershy said. I could not even imagine a bunch of animals living in the cottage, even when it is big enough for those animals. I used to think they only live in certain places like Barn but I had no idea that the cottage is another exception.
"Who is this?" I asked Fluttershy.
"That's Angel. He's my pet" said Fluttershy.
While she was feeding some of the other animals, I heard someone crying for help. It was no other than Angel.
"What's the matter?" I asked Angel.
I noticed that he need help with a trouble from his fur. Fluttershy was shocked to see what I just did and what I noticed.
"How did you know that?" she asked me.
"I don't know." I said "I just noticed Angel having a trouble there and I was just helping him."
"You understood Angel very well" she said.
"No, it was nothing." I said.
"Well it seems like you can speak Animal Language" Fluttershy said.
"Animal Language?" I asked "Is there really such thing?"
"Oh, yes" said Fluttershy. "I talk to animals all the times and do understand them really well"
I was still surprised to hear what Fluttershy said. I knew a lot about languages but I had no idea that even animals have and speak their own language.
"Let's get a move on Hoobe!" Twilight said.
"Sure! See you later Fluttershy!" I said as I left with Twilight.
"We are going to the place where I used to live when I first came to Ponyville." she said. "But I have a new place to live and because you did said that you are lost and have no place to say, I think you will like it there."
When we went in to the place where she wanted me to show me, it was pitch dark and I could not see anything. Before I could even find the light switch, the whole room just lit up and Pinkie yelled out
"Surprise!"
I later noticed that the ponies I've met are all around me.
"What's going on here?" I asked.
I also noticed that it was a surprise party that Pinkie Pie set up and that party was a welcoming party for me. Spike told me that while I was visiting around Ponyville, Spike asked Pinkie for help with decorations and also invited some of the ponies around, along with Twilight.
"Thanks!" I said.
"It was nothing" said Twilight. "You helped me defeat that Timberwolf, while I was struggling with Spike. So I want you to accept this token as an appreciation for me and others to say Thanks"
I had no idea it was Timberwolf the whole time, because I never actually saw a Timberwolf before. So Twilight explained to me all about Timberwolves.
"I have one last place to show you, before you help yourself and make comfortable here." said Twilight.
---------------Twilight's Castle of Friendship---------------
When we arrived, it was one of the biggest buildings I've ever seen. It was grand and also shiny.
"What do you think?" Twilight asked me.
"This place is huge" I said. "And it looks really really luxurious! I can't believe in my eyes!"
Twilight later told me that it is a castle she lives in.
"A castle for a princess of course!" I said.
"Hey Hoobe." said Spike
"Yeah Spike?" I asked.
"She is a princess and an Alicorn!" said Spike.
"What?" I asked with a shock. "You are a princess the whole time!? How come you never told me before?"
"Well that's because you never asked me." Twilight said.
"How come you did not know?" Spike asked me. "Don't tell us that you have no idea about Alicorn."
"Well I don't" I said. "And that's because I have never heard about it before"
I was surprised to what Twilight and Spike told me. So spike told me about alicorns.
She then asked me, "Is that your cutie mark right there?"
I had no idea what she just said.
"This?" I said "Oh no, it's not my cutie mark. It's just a sticker that I put and forgot to take it out"
I rubbed it to try to take it out. However, just like she said, it really is my cutie mark and it did not fall off.
"I don't understand" I said. "I thought it is supposed to be off"
She giggled a little and said "It's your cutie mark Hoobe! It looks similar to mine but a little different"
"What's yours then?" I asked.
"Mine is about a magic of friendship" she said.
I never even heard about the Cutie Marks before so she explained to me all about it.
"Well it's getting late by now" she later said. "Why don't you make yourself at home to the place where I showed you? You can look around more tomorrow"
"Sure" I said as I left "See you later Twilight and Spike!"
"Bye!" said Twilight and Spike.
---------------The end of day---------------
It really was a long day for me. I made new friends and had a big adventure that I've never knew before, even when I was just walking around Ponyville. It was a long day with full of surprises. I do not know what else is there in Ponyville but I will find out surely enough. This is just the beginning.
Dear Diary The day has passed since the time I have arrived at the Ponyville. This means it is a brand new day for me. I still can't help myself that I am a Unicorn and that I have actually met a creature Alicorn who is turned out to be a princess, despite the fact that she is now my friend. I did not know where to go at first so I decided to visit a Castle of Friendship, Twilight's castle. I still could not believe that it was huge and shiny with many rooms. Spike saw me at the distance and came to me and said to me.
"Ah, hello Hoobe! Welcome back to the castle!"
"Hey Spike. Could you help me get around the castle, as in can you show me around here? I am still new not just to this castle but also in Ponyville" I asked
"Sure thing Hoobe! I will lead you the way" he said.
By the time Spike was done showing me around the Castle, I stumbled upon Twilight.
"Hey Twilight. What are you up to?" I asked.
"Nothing special, I am reading some books" she said.
"What books do you like to read?" I asked.
She told me all about the books she likes to read. She even told me that some of these stories are the actual events ever to happen, like Non-fiction in my words, even when she does not use that word. I continued to search around the castle. In one of the rooms I have seen, contains thrones and a round table, which I later found out that the table shows the Map. Before I was about to leave that room I stumble unto a Unicorn that I have never met before. That Unicorn said.
"You must be Hoobe." she said "Twilight told me about you. I'm Starlight Glimmer. What are you doing here?"
"Looking around the castle" I said "Twilight showed me around here and she also told me that I am welcome to look around this castle"
Starlight did not say anything else too much after that.
She just said "Well I'll see you around later" and left.
---------------Learning Animal Languages with Fluttershy---------------
I left the castle after I was done exploring around the castle. As I went around the Ponyville, I just realized that have no idea what my cutie mark meant, despite having similar to Twilight's and also being able to use magic though I never realized until Twilight told me about it. I believe that I will soon figure it out sooner or later. Since I did understand animal language and also speak, I thought I might as well as visit Fluttershy for some tips. So I have decided to visit the cottage that Fluttershy stays.
"Welcome back Hoobe" Fluttershy said by the time I arrived at the cottage.
"Is it OK if I could learn for myself if I do understand animal language?" I asked
"Sure." she said. "Which one of the animals would you like to go first?"
Because she had so many different kinds of animals I had a hard time figuring out at first. I already understood Angel so I decided to go with someone else other than Angel himself. There were some birds and mice and even puppies around. I took one step at a time. Unlike Angel, I did not understand everyone right away. Of course it was not easy and I did made a couple of mistakes. I did not understand all the animals right away, even when I did understand some. I had a slow time learning them. Eventually I did learn a few more animal languages. After a while I decided to go around Ponyville even more, this time on my own. So I left the cottage later.
"Bye Fluttershy!" I said as I left.
---------------Continuing on Ponyville---------------
While I was visiting around Ponyville on my own, I later met another pony whom I think I met before it was not so sure.
"Hello Hoobe" the pony, said to me.
I was surprised to know that she knew my name. So I asked.
"Who are you? And how did you know my name?"
"I am Mayor Mare. Princess Twilight told me about you." She said.
She told me about the story of how I saved Twilight. I was still surprised to what she told me. I went around Ponyville to explore more around.
"Bye Ms. Mayor" I said as I left.
While I was walking around Ponyville, I decided to visit the place that is Sugarcube Corner. When I entered a pony greeted me and said.
"Welcome! I'm Carrot Cake, Hoobe" the pony said.
By now I would have guessed that everyone or almost everyone would know about my story. So though I am still surprised at that time I don't mind hearing a story again from her.
"Would you like to try some of my cupcakes?" she asked.
"Sure, but I am not here to order or something Ms. Cake" I said. "I was just stoping by."
"Oh don't worry!" she said.
I asked her why she was doing this. She told me that she was giving some of her cupcakes away for free today and also wanted to give me a gift as a welcoming gift. I later thanked her and left.
While I was continuing my search around Ponyville, I saw a ball rolling by. I looked around. Soon I saw three young ponies walking to me.
"Hi girls!" I said.
"Hey Hoobe" Applebloom said.
I knew Applebloom and Sweetie Belle before, but I never saw a Pegasus from those three before. So I asked her.
"What's your name?" I asked "I never saw you before"
"I'm Scootaloo!" she said
I nearly forgot about the ball while I was speaking with those ponies.
"It's nice to meet you Scootaloo, along with you Applebloom and Sweetie Belle!" I said "Is this your ball?"
"Yes it is" one of them said.
I tossed it back to them.
"You got some skills there!" one of them said.
"Thanks" I said.
I later noticed that they all have the cutie marks that are the same. I have never seen ponies with the same cutie marks before, so I said.
"It seems like all three of you have the same cutie marks there" I said
"Not exactly the same" said Applebloom. "Mine has an apple just like my family, Sweetie Belle has a note, and Scootaloo has a wing with a lightning bolt."
"What would be your purpose?" I asked "It seems like all three of you are working together to help those in need."
Applebloom later told me that they are called themselves as 'cutie mark crusaders'. They have been helping those ponies try to get their cutie marks to those who do not have one and also help those who have one but tell those ponies the true purpose of their cutie marks. She also told me that right now she is just playing with her friends for fun. I thought I could ask them help for my Cutie Mark because I did not know too much about what it really meant even when it looked similar to Twilight's but I decided not to because I wanted to go around the Ponyville first and wanted to learn more about this place. So I continued to walk around after saying goodbye to the girls. As I was walking around Ponyville, I noticed that there are some of the places that I think they looked familiar to me though I was not so sure. I visited some of the places around such as Bowling Center and Day Spa and even a Cafe. While I was keep on searching around Ponyville, I saw another pony that looked very different from most of the ponies I saw.
"Hello, Hoobe" the pony said. "I'm Zecora"
I asked her where she lived and what she do. She told me that she lives in the Everfree forest and collects herbs. She also makes potions and also heals those ponies who are in need at times, but not as a doctor. After visiting her hut and helping her, I left after I said goodbye to her. When I came back to Ponyville, I saw a creature that looked like it was attacking Ponyville. I saw my friends attacking that creature, trying to defend Ponyville. After a while, I saw that my friends could not be able to battle anymore. Though I had no idea what to do, quickly I stepped up towards that creature in front of it. However, when I did, strangely the creature flew away. I have no idea what was going on.
"It must be a coincidence" I said "because that creature did not do that until I showed up right here"
"I don't think that was a coincidence" Twilight said.
"Why do you say that?" I asked.
Twlight explained to me why. I had a hard time understanding what she was saying. Maybe it was because the creature was frightened at me or because it thought that we outnumbered it? I do not know exactly, but for whatever the reason, it was really strange. My friends and I went to the Day Spa together later. While my friends got tired from battling, I was tired from exploring over Ponyville.
"So, do you usually defend Ponyville like this?" I asked "It seems like you are doing an important job for that"
"Yes" Twilight said.
She told me more about it and more about what she does with our friends. While she was talking, I began to have a heavy feeling in me. She soon noticed me about the feeling I am having. So she asked me.
"What's the matter?"
I paused for the moment and said "Well, the thing is, I never had a friend like this before."
Twilight was confused so she asked me "What do you mean?"
So I explained "I think I remember that have been told that friendship or making friends is a waste of time."
My friends were shocked, so I told them about it as much as I could remember.
"Well, Hoobe" said Twilight "I believe you took the first step in friendship lesson."
"Friendship lesson?" I asked "What do you mean? I have heard a lot of lessons before but I have never heard anything about friendship lessons"
"Lessons in friendship in general" said Twilight.
She eventually told me that making friends is important, whatever I do in my life. I was never taught anything about friendship before. She also told me that, just as Pinkie has a lot of smile in her life, I also need to be happy for myself. She also told me about the time before she even came to Ponyville and also suggested me that I should make new friends. I told her that I could not, not just yet because I told her that even when I try to make new friends, Twilight and her other five friends are the only ones I can think and told her that even when I do make new friends, it would not be the same. After she was done with her story, I went back to my house, after saying goodbye to my friends.
---------------A dream that I will never forget---------------
I slept and had a dream, but it was not just any dream. It was a nightmare. It starts as a great day when I made friends from the past and had a great time hanging out with them. Then for a sudden, a shadow was chasing around. Instantly getting rid of my friends. It was about to get rid of me right away. I had no where to run. As the shadow got closer and closer to me, I closed my eyes hoping that I can get away from that creature soon enough. Just then, I saw a sudden flash coming into my eyes. When I opened my eyes, an Alicorn stepped up to me. It was not Twilight but another Alicorn. I never met that Alicorn before.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Princess Luna" she said.
I never met her before so I asked "What are you doing here?"
Princess Luna answered my question and explained to me all about it.
After her explanation, I asked her "Does my dream really do tell both past and the future?"
Princess Luna also explained to me about that.
Later when I woke up, it was still night. I went into my kitchen to drink for some water and then I went back to bed. This day was different from yesterday. I sure would like to find out more about my adventures for another day.
Today was not just any adventure I have ever had. Before I began to search around Ponyville, I saw Twilight in front of me with Spike.
"Hey Twilight" I said.
"Hey Hoobe" she said. "Anything in mind right now?"
"Not really" I said. "Say You told me about the castle the other day."
"The castle of Canterlot?" she asked.
"No, I mean the abandoned one" I said. "The one at the Everfree Forest?"
"Oh that one" she said.
"Do you think it is ok for me to explore that castle?" I asked.
"I don't suppose that is not any bad I guess" she said.
"Well then I will be heading there" I said as I left "See you around Twilight"
---------------An abandoned castle and a strange flash---------------
I read a few books about that castle but I do not know much about that castle. So I decided to go into that castle in the Everfree forest. I was gonna visit a cottage at Fluttershy's but decided to go to that castle in the end because I wanted to explore new places. Besides Everfree forest, I did not know that it would be really creepy to go into that castle, since it has been abandoned for a very long time. When I arrived at that castle, I looked around to see if there is anything useful for me later, besides just books that Twilight loves to read. While I was looking around the castle, I began to feel something really strange. My mind was feeling with a flash. I had to close my eyes for a moment. When I tried to open them, I began to have a strange vision. I see a vision of myself when I was a Filly or Colt or a Foal and how great time I had during that time. However, for some reasons, I do not remember the time I was a Foal. As I was looking at my flashback, I began to see another flash, that I had to close my eyes again. When I opened them, I saw that I was at the old castle, or back at the castle. I do not know what was going on there. Seeing a flashback did not really answered my questions in what my memory was back in the past. I could not remember what my life really was back when I was little. Though I only stayed for a few minutes or a few hours in that castle, I decided to go back to Ponyville because I fear that I would see another flashback soon. When I went back, I decided to go back to my house. I stared at the moment of what was going on when I went to that castle.
---------------A dance competition---------------
While I was staring at myself in the mirror doing nothing, I heard someone outside. I saw a group of ponies gathering around. It was a little too hard for me to figure it out what was going on at first. Soon enough, I noticed that it was an announcement about something like a dance competition. Suddenly I began to see a flashback again. This time, it was the time when I tried to get the cutie mark through dancing. It was telling me that even though I did not received the cutie mark through dancing, I was told that I became one of the best dancers in Ponyville. My flashback faded away. I still could not remember the time when I tried to get the cutie mark through dancing like that. There was a list for a sign up, the competition that is going to happen in this evening. Without hesitating I decided to sign up for the competition because I wanted to give it a try. When the evening came, I could see that there were several ponies signed up for the competition and also several other ponies who are here to see the competition. DJ Pon-3 was one of the ponies I've met this evening. She knows a lot about music there, aside from DJ. I greeted her as I said hello to her. When it was my turn to do a dance on the stage, I just showed off what I can do on the stage. Everyone was surprised to see how good I was, though I could not tell exactly. I saw my 6 friends at the competition to see me and the other competitors and Spike. I was surprised that two Alicorns also visited Ponyville to see the dance competition. At the end of the event, though I did not actually won the competition, I did end up getting close like in 2nd place. After the event, I said thank you to my friends.
One of the Alicorns stepped up to me and said. "You have done a great job right there"
To make sure that I do not get too confused I asked "Pardon me for asking, but who are you?"
The two Alicorns introduced them selves who are Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna. I thought I saw Princess Luna before but I was not so sure and I do not remember seeing Princess Celestia.
"I had no idea that you are going to come to visit to Ponyville and that you also know about me" I said "I do not know what to say"
Princess Celestia explained to me that Twilight told her all about me in how I saved her and also how I helped ponies around here. She told me that I was a big help around Ponyville.
"It really is nothing" I said. "I was just doing what I needed to do for those who need help"
---------------The end of the day---------------
Before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna left, they told me that I should visit the Canterlot one day with Twilight. I could not say no because I really liked to go on adventures and find new places. By the time they left, I suddenly began to have another flashback. This one however was very different. I could not tell but it was a tragic moment as far from what I see here. I still have no idea what was going on here. However, I will be able to figure out soon enough for what the flashbacks meant for me.
This was probably one of the strangest days I've ever had. I had made friends like never before. They were the closest friends I've ever made. For this day, it was just like the first time I've arrived at the Ponyville. I made a friend. However, it was unlike the other friends I've ever made. Twilight and the other ponies are usual friends I've made. Spike, though he is a dragon, not only is Twilight's pet as someone to accompany her, is also a good friend and just like most ponies around here. This however, is one friend who is not only different from others but also very unusual. I decided to go to Fluttershy's cottage to see if there is anything I could learn more about animals from Fluttershy and also maybe learn more about animal languages because I did not even know that I could speak to them.
"Hey Fluttershy" I said. "Do you want me to help you with anything?"
Fluttershy looked like she was kind of in joy or something as she said "Oh, yes I do!"
"What do you want me to help with you?" I asked.
"I want you to meet one of my friends" she said.
She showed me who it was. When she showed me, I was shocked.
"Hello Hoobe! I'm Discord" one of Fluttershy's friends said.
I was surprised that Discord knew me. I was also surprised that Discord was unlike anyone I've ever met.
"How do you know me and know that I was gonna come here to this cottage?"
Discord told me that he knew that I was gonna and heard all about me. He also told me that he heard about the story of me.
Fluttershy then said "I was going to get some quality time with Discord. But I was being called for help. So I was about to look around for someone to take time with Discord, just right before you came. However it is not my friend animals who I am relying on even Angel, but rather someone else like you."
She then told me all about Discord, as Discord also talks about himself. I was not so sure about Discord at first. He does sound friendly but I did not know if Discord is one of the friends that I can be friends with.
"I have to leave" Fluttershy said. "Have fun with Discord!"
"Bye!" I said as Fluttershy left.
I asked Discord. "So what do you usually do with Fluttershy?"
Discord told me all about it. He also told me the time when he spent his times with some of my other friends, and that is not just Fluttershy herself but also with Rainbow Dash and Applejack and Rarity and Pinkie Pie and even later Twilight and Spike. He then asked me if there is anything that I want to do with Discord. I was not so sure if I was even up to this task because I never met Discord before and I was not so sure if I could trust Discord, even when I don't mind becoming friend with him.
"We could spend some quality tea time together" I said "When you spend time with Fluttershy, but I was probably wondering if we could do something else. Maybe the time when you were talking to my or our friends about jokes or something?"
So Discord told me the jokes that he can think of. When he told me some jokes, I laughed. He told me that if I did not mind so I did not refused his offer. While on the way, Discord told me all the adventures he had while at Ponyville and how he became friendly. I asked if we can have a walk around Ponyville, or just in someplace not too far like in Everfree forest.
"I'd love to" he said. "But isn't that dangerous to go there, especially for you?"
"I know" I said "Forest is dangerous, but I just wanted to do something together and not be bored or something. We won't be too far into the forest, just around a few minutes or an hour"
"Alright then," he said "We will go, but we won't be taking a long time in there. As I was saying, it is dangerous or can be dangerous."
---------------An adventure through the Everfree Forest---------------
So we went off into the Everfree forest. At first the forest does not look anything like frighting to me. Even though it was not the first time I've been to the forest, the first time was when I went there with Zekora, I began to feel a little scared.
"Should we return to Ponyville?" he asked "You seemed to look frighting there"
He noticed me right away that I was being frightened. However, because it was only for a few minutes, I said.
"No, let's just move on"
After about an hour passed, I said to Discord.
"I think we should be heading back to Ponyville Discord. Though it is still afternoon and not dark, it already has been about an hour and I am getting tired"
"I think it is time" he said "Let us return"
We started going back to Ponyville. However, while we were walking back, I have a feeling that I heard someone coming towards me and Discord. I thought it was just my mind playing tricks on me at first so I paid no attention.
"I believe you should look, Hoobe" he said.
"Come on right now, it was just a plain mind trick" I said. "I know that it is dangerous in the forest, but at times there can be tricks, now come on Discord."
"No, it is not a trick." he said
"If you are saying that it is not even a trick, what is it over there?" I asked
When I looked at the direction that Discord pointed, I noticed that it was a group of Timberwolves.
"Let's get out of here and head straight to Ponyville!" he said.
"We can beat them" I said.
"Are you sure?" he asked "You may have magic, but Timberwolves are not just dangerous but are stronger than most ponies."
"Just let me give a try here" I said. "I did not actually defeated them at that time, but I did scared them away when one of my friends were in trouble."
So I tried the same thing when I first saw the Timberwolves. Even when this was not the first time I saw them, it was rather harder than it looked. They did not run off like the last time. When I knew that it did not work, I was even more terrified.
Discord said to me "Come on, let's get out of here"
"OK, let us go" I said.
Quickly, Discord and I started to get out of the Everfree Forest. When we almost reached our destination, one of the Timberwolves stepped up and blocked our way. I hesitated and did not know what to do right now. Fortunately, Discord came up with the plan, and sooner or later, we escaped from the Timberwolves. I was puffed up and so did Discord from all the running.
---------------Arriving at the Ponyville---------------
"Thank you so much Discord" I said, by the time we arrived at Fluttershy's cottage. "I am sorry if I caused all the trouble there. We should have came back sooner or just don't go to the forest at all"
"It's alright" said Discord "I am just glad that you learned your lessons"
"I did" I said "but was that not just any adventure we just had? I mean it was pretty wild back there"
"I believe we did" he said. "and I am glad that we had a great time together"
Fluttershy came back from her trip. Discord and I told her the whole story about our adventures, before Fluttershy told hers. Soon, I left her cottage saying goodbye. I cannot believe that I just had a very different adventure and also made a new friend who is Discord, despite the fact that he is different. As I laid on my bed from the very tiring day, I am glad that it is over.
---------------A quick visit to Sugarcube Corner---------------
After a long day I had, I decided that I would take a break for a while. While I was walking around Ponyville to see if there is any pony that needs help, because that is what I can do the most. I stopped at the Sugarcube Corner to have some look at some of the cakes and cupcakes that Mr. and Mrs. Cake has decorated. I can see that Mr. Cake is really busy with something there and also to Mrs. Cake. When she noticed me in the Sugarcube Corner, she asked me a question.
"May I help you?"
"Do you need any help?" I asked. "It seems like you are in a rush or something, and I do not mind if you do need help"
"Why yes" she said.
---------------To Cloudsdale---------------
She later told me the instructions of what I needed to do. I had no problem with what I needed to do to help Mrs. Cake. It was quite challenging at first because I never actually worked at the Sugarcube Corner before. However soon enough I got used to it. She thanked me for what I did for her and her husband and she gave me some bits. I left Sugarcube Corner and went around Ponyville to see if there is anything I have missed. Just then I saw Rainbow Dash flew by and saw Scootaloo with her while she is on her scooter.
"Hey girls!" I said "Where are you heading?"
"We are heading to Cloudsdale" said Rainbow "Since you seem like you are still new here, would you like to come?"
"Sure, why not?" I said. "But how can I get there? I hear that you are supposed to fly there and only Pegasi can fly along with Alicorns and I am just a Unicorn."
"Don't worry" said Rainbow "We knew that you would say that and I know how you can get there."
"Thanks!" I said
Rainbow also told me that there is going to be the special event that I did not even know what it was. We met Twilight on the way along with our other friends. They told me that they already went to Clousdale before but they wanted to help Rainbow Dash with cheering and such so they also decided to go to Cloudsdale. We soon arrived at the Clousdale, but because this was the first time I have been here, Rainbow showed me around this place, while she still had some time before the preparation for the event that she is attending. It was really amazing, more than I thought.
She later said to me "I needed to stop by my house to pick up something, to make sure that I did not forget anything."
We later arrived at the destination where the event was going to happen. Twilight told me that this was one of the places where Rainbow did a Sonic rainboom. When I asked her what that is, she told me that it is one of Rainbow Dash's signature moves. It sounded interesting for me. While during the event, I thought I saw someone who is about to fall down. When I looked more closely, it was no other than the Earth Pony. Without thinking, I jumped and dive to that Earth Pony, because I knew that Pony cannot fly. I know that I could not fly, but because I can use magic, I quickly thought what magic would be useful in the situation like this. Because I knew that objects hit the ground at the same time, when dropped at the same height and regardless of mass except probably for air resistance, I was not too far away from that Pony, except that I dived a little later. Soon enough, I was able to grab that Pony, before I hit the ground with that Pony. I had to think fast, or I would also get hit by the ground. As I was thinking quickly, I suddenly remembered that I can use a teleportation magic. All I had to do is to quickly think where to teleport because there are many possibilities to where I can teleport but a wrong place would make me and that pony hurt even more. I could have teleported to Cloudsdale but I was thinking somewhere else instead because I thought if I did teleported to Cloudsdale, even with a Pegasus to save, I would still fall at a fast speed. Though I hesitated, I decided to teleport to Cloudsdale in the end. When I did, I saw a couple of Pegasi coming for a rescue. Later Rainbow Dash asked me what I was thinking. So I told her that the Earth Pony was in danger and I had to do something about it. The Pegasi told me that it was one of the craziest things they have ever seen. They told me that though they did appreciated my help, they told me not to do it without thinking. Later at the end of the day, though I was not really exhausted, it was a day that I will not forget. The trip to Cloudsdale was one trip that kind of made me scared because I did not even remember that I was scared of heights. I did not know what I was even doing. One thing for certain is that, unless if I was able to get a magic that will help me fly, only Pegasi can fly. Later that evening, Rainbow Dash came by to my house and asked me that if I would like to come to Cloudsdale ever again. I said to her that I would love to but also told her that I need to wait and see for later. Because there will be no reason for me to get there on my own, except if there is any help that I can help to any Pegasi there.
Today was the time when I started to have my own pet. All my friends have a pet. The reason why I had a new pet is not because I was jealous, even when I do, it was because I wanted to take care of it. Before I took care of this pet, I had no idea that it was one of the mythical creatures I have ever seen. Just like everyday, I walked around the Ponyville. However, I heard a strange sound calling for help. I looked around but did not see anyone who was calling for help. I could not help myself as I was thinking that I was just imagining things. However, I heard that someone calling for help again. I thought it was just my imagination, even when I was not imagining.
"Hey" I said shouting but in a quiet voice so that I would not distract any pony around. "are you ok there?"
I just shouted in a direction I thought I heard. I did not see at first where it came from. When I got a closer look, I could not believe in my eyes what I was seeing. It looked like a very tiny Pegasus, only the wings are different from Pegasi. They are very clear.
"So you are the one." I said. "What are you doing here?"
"I was trying to get back to get back home" the creature said.
"Then why are you not getting back home right away?" I asked "You have wings and that would not be a trouble for you."
"I can't actually" it said. "I was with the group but suddenly I could not fly anymore. I tried to asked for help but I could not have been able to till you showed up."
"Oh I am so sorry" I said. "That must have been terrible"
I looked around to see if I could find anyone similar to the creature that I just saw, but did not see anyone who could be able to help.
"If I just let you here, you might not be able to survive." I said "Would you like to come to my house and stay for a while until you are good enough to fly back?"
The creature flew right on my back.
"That must mean it is a yes" I said.
So I carried it back to my house. Seeing how tired it was or just felt like it was safe from wild, the creature shouted with joy, but not the way how I usually shout. The creature shouted very quietly, though I can hear it clearly. I can't believe how that creature was hurt. I could not help but still wonder why was this creature left the way where and also how I found it? If it was trying to fly back home why did it not went back home, except that it is too weak for a journey to home. Sooner or later, Fluttershy came by my house for a visit.
"Hi, Hoobe" said Fluttershy.
"Hey Fluttershy" I said.
"What have you got there?" she asked.
I showed her the creature I found on this day and also told her all about it on how I found it. She asked me why did I take it to my house and not release it back to its house. I told her that I do not know where it lives and when I asked, it said that it wanted to relax and feel safe from wild. She later told me that the creature that I just had was a mythical creature that is no other than a Breezie. I had no Idea what a Breezie is so she explained to me what it is. After she was done with that she later told me that I should send that Breezie back to its house but suggested that I should keep it for life saving.
"I won't keep this Breezie forever of course " I said. "Only until she grew strong enough to fly back home"
"Of course" Fluttershy told me. "But it won't be easy to take care of it"
"Sure" I said.
She told me about the adventure she had with the Breezie and our friends, before I came to Ponyville. I was wondering how that place would be like when I actually get there. I decided that I should probably borrow some of the books that Twilight has, because I know that she has a lot of books and I was hoping that I would eventually find the book that tells all about Breezies. So, soon enough, I got the book that I was looking for from Twilight's Castle. As I was reading that book, I got everything that the Breezie that I am taking care of needed. Just as Fluttershy told me all about the Breezies, I must make sure that I do not forget to let her go back to her home, when the time comes. Fluttershy gave me a few more tips about Breezies and soon left. I thought maybe it is a good time for me to ask some questions to her so that I would have a better understanding about Breezies and learn new things.
"So where do you live?" I asked.
"I live in the place where I call it home" she said as she told me all about her home. "My name is Wind"
"Nice to meet you Wind" I said. "But how did you got lost in this place? I'm sure there is a good reason for that"
"Well I was with the group of Breezies" she said "All of a sudden, I got tired and could not be able to fly anymore. I did tried to ask for help at those Breezies but my voice was too soft to tell them. I was able to make some friends around. Overtime I grew helpless and grew more tired. I was glad that you were able to find me."
"Well I am glad that I found you" I said. "I will take care of you until you are good enough to move on."
So I decided to take good care of Wind until she grow strong enough to fly her back home. I am staring to have my own pet and have a big responsibility for her now that I am taking care of her. I need to be extra cautious. I will soon find out more about Breezies as I take care of Wind and also read a book about it.
When I was just walking around the Ponyville just like every other day, I saw a group of ponies gathering up. I later noticed that they are all watching the poster. I was curious what the poster said. When I later got the chance and got a better view, I was a little surprised. It was a little too hard for me to understand what it said. In my opinion it said something like
"The Great and Powerful Trixie is coming for a spot here at Ponyville tonight! Come and see me and if you want to dare for a duel, come on tonight."
The last sentence was a little too hard for me to understand what it really was trying to say.
"A duel?" I asked myself "Why would she ask anybody for a duel? Is she just showing a duel or asking any pony if they are up for a duel?"
I still have no idea what the poster was trying to say, so I decided to ask Twilight so that I can be sure to understand what it is trying to say. After I arrived at the castle and explain everything to her, she told me who that Unicorn is.
"That's Trixie" she said.
Twilight told me the whole story about how she met her and also about her more. Later, Starlight Glimer came by and also explained to me all about Trixie. Starlight told me that she and Trixie are friends. I asked her if she knows that Trixie is coming for tonight. Starlight said that Trixie is coming but she did not know that it was tonight. I asked her if she would be going to see Trixie for tonight. She said that she will and also told me that she is helping Trixie, just like last time. I left Twilight's castle later, after I listened to her story. My friends came by my house later and told me that I should probably participate in this event. I told them that I am still new to this magic and do not know if I should even participate in this event.
"You saved Twilight and Spike's life out in the Everfree forest" said Rarity.
"That's true" I said.
"You even made some kind of the perfect dodge" said Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah" I said.
"You helped me at my apple fields" said Applejack.
"That was just helping" I said. "Even if that is true, that is not all about magic."
"You can understand animal languages and even helped my pet Angel" said Fluttershy.
"That's true" I said.
"You enjoy parties a lot and even dance pretty well" said Pinkie Pie.
"That's just about parties Pinkie, not about magic" I said.
My friends still encourages me that I should go, even when I do not end up participating in the event. I thought to myself and also said to myself if I should really go. What if I humiliate myself, if my magic does not end up working? However, because I was also curious, I thought maybe it is a good time for me to at least go to the event.
"OK I will go" I said.
All of my friends shouted with joy.
"But don't think I am going to participate in the event" I said "unless if I changed my mind."
"Sure thing" my friends said.
Soon, the evening came. I saw a lot of ponies there to see the event of Trixie. I also saw my friends who are right in the front of the stage.
"Hey Hoobe" said Pinkie. "over here!"
"Thanks guys!" I said. "But we don't have to take this spot"
"We wanted to save for the best" said Rarity
Soon the event began. Twilight Sparkle was on the stage.
"Fillies and Gentlecolts" announced Twilight "May I present to you, The great and powerful, Trixie!"
As Twilight went to the back of the stage, Trixie showed up in the cloud of fog or a smoke that kind of looked like a dust but not dirty. Everyone was amazed and so did I. I thought I remember seeing magic performances, but the performances that I just saw seemed too great to notice. I also saw Starlight besides her during the middle of Trixie's performance. I could see that she was helping Trixie with her performance. Just as Twilight told me, I could see that they are friends in a relation. Not as in they are in love with each other, but as in the fact that they are just friends. Their performance together were even more stunning.
"For my last performance" said Trixie "I will need a volunteer for a magic duel. This is not going to be too much of a duel, but you might win the price if you defeat me. Do not worry if you get defeated by me. I am only looking for a volunteer"
I did not wanted to volunteer, not because I had a stage fright, but it was because I was worried what if my magic does not work or if I steal the show, whether I win or lose. However, before I made my decision, I heard someone shouting.
"Hoobe will do it! He is great as magic and maybe even close to your skill!!"
It was no other than Pinkie Pie!
"Excuse me for just a moment." I said to everyone.
I then rushed to one side of the stadium with Pinkie.
"Pinkie!" I said "What are you doing? You are going to make me humiliated in front of the whole pony! I am not that good with magic like Trixie"
"Oh, come on Hoobe" said Pinkie "You don't have to win. That will not make you humiliated. You are just showing what you can do. With that skills, that will be enough to show everyone what you are capable of and it is not too bad."
"Yeah Hoobe" said Spike who was also with Pinkie Pie and my friends. "Your magic may not be big as Trixie, but it will be good enough to show to every pony how great yours is, just like Trixie, even when that is not greater or not"
I was not so sure if I would do it or not, but because chances like this does not come too often I said to myself.
"Why not?"
"OK then" I said to Pinkie and Spike. "I will do it but it is not because I just wanted to."
I went back in front of the stage and said to Trixie.
"I will do it"
I was given the direction to where I need to go and what I needed to do. The duel began. First off was Trixie, with a simple magic.
"Can you do that?" she asked me.
"Well that is if I can do this" I said.
I did the magic of what I could remember doing.
"Very good" said Trixie "But it will be tougher this time"
She then showed me the magic that was in a bigger limit than the previous one. I was able to perform the magic that Trixie showed to me and the audience. This time, Trixie was quite surprised.
"Well then, this would be my Grand Finale." said Trixie. "If you can also perform this one, you are the winner"
She showed me and the audience what it was. I knew that Trixie would have no problem handling with any kind of magic. So it would not be a surprise to me. However, when I later noticed what magic that Trixie was going to show me, I knew that she would not survive. I quickly whispered to Starlight about it she was shocked. She knew that Trixie was going to perform but did not know that was one of them. Quickly she tried to warn Trixie and must stop, but it was too late by the time she tried to stop Trixie. Starlight tried to save Trixie with the magic, but it was not enough. Trixie was stuck. Seeing this really made me hesitate and I did not know what to do. I decided to try out to see if I could help Trixie. Thankfully, she survived. Before I thought it was my turn for me to perform the magic, Trixie made an announcement.
"And the winner is!" announed Trixie "Hoobe!"
Everypony cheered with an applause. I was confused. I did not even performed so I asked myself why was I winner.
After the show, Trixie explained to me why she awarded me as a winner.
"I got caught up while I was performing" explained Trixie "but you saved my life and no pony would ever be able to perform that magic, even Starlight. I later realized that it was a big mistake I made but I did not even know. Thanks for saving me"
I could have been more clear to what she was saying. However, as I was talking with my friends, I knew that maybe it was not a bad idea for me to perform on stage, whether it is magic or something else. As I sleep for the night. I had a dream of myself when I was performing magic that was not just a simple magic but rather a magic that I was able to perform maybe even the biggest magic that any pony will have ever seen, even for Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
