It's a cloudy morning for the four amigos preparing for their first day at school. 2D waits in the car, as the other three jumps in.

"Everyone ready?" asked 2D, from the drivers seat of their jeep.

"Ready cuz," said Russel from behind him.

Noodle gave him a nod and a smile.

"You too, Murdoc?"

"Hell no, mate," snarked Murdoc beside him, "I hate school! I loath it!"

"But we need the education," said 2D, "After all, knowledge is a wonderful thing. Also, they have an after school band practice, as what it says on the website."

"After school band practice you say?" said Murdoc with interest, "then what are we waiting for? Let's get our arses over there."

"Thank God, that there's an after school program for us to enjoy and practice for our music," thought 2D, as he started the engine and drove away towards the school.

"Yo, 2D. What is this school called?" asked Russel.

"It's called Canterlot High," said 2D, as he made a turn left, "it sounds interesting, plus there was an attack around the school by a she-demon, which caught me by surprise."

"A she-demon, you say?" says Murdoc, as he picked his nose and flung the booger out the window, "is she hot, mate?"

"I don't know. There wasn't a picture of it on the website, but they did mention who it was."

"What's the gals name?"

"If I can recall, her name is Sunset Shimmer."

"Sunset Shimmer, eh? I like her name," said Murdoc with an evil-like chuckle, "For some reason, I think I'm gonna love this school."

"Keep your wang in your pants, cuz," said Russel, "If you ruin our style over at the school, I'm gonna pound you."

"Sure whatever," ignored Murdoc.

"I mean it, cuz."

"Come on, Murdoc," said 2D, "don't make us look bad on the first day of school. Our dreams won't come true if we don't get the education."

"…Fine," said Murdoc, as he crossed his arms.

The car went silent, as 2D made some stops and turns around the neighborhood towards the school. Luckily, they're about two miles from the school.










7:23 AM

Canterlot High


Non- Equestrian Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, Dashie, Rarity and Sunset sat around the front of the school messing around before school started. Rarity files her nails, Rainbow played on her 3DS of Super Smash Ponies, Applejack sat on the ground looking up at the rising sun as the clouds began to part away, Pinkie played around with her balloons by making them into different types of animals, Fluttershy feeds her animals that are in her backpack, Sunset and Twilight are having a girl to girl chat.

"How do you make your hair look pretty?" asked Twilight, as she adjusted her glasses.

"I use pert while washing my hair in the shower and thus, making my hair looking all shiny," said Sunset, as she waves her hair back and forth.

"Where do you buy it?" 

"Many stores have it. Try it, Twi."

"Sure."

"Come on! I got this!" shouted Rainbow Dash, as she pressed onto the buttons of her 3DS quickly.

"You really do love that game, eh Dash?" asked Applejack, as she turned her head towards Rainbow Dash.

"Of course I do," said Rainbow, without looking at Applejack, "it's very addictive."

"Are we all gonna do more band practice after school?" asked Pinkie, as she held up a balloon-like guitar.

"Of course, darling," said Rarity, as she puts away her nail file, "however, we still need to come up with a new song."

"I still haven't thought of any lyrics," said AJ.

"Me too," said Rainbow.

"Me three," said Pinkie, as she unties her guitar balloon to form a question mark.

"We have to think of something," said Twilight, joining the conversation.

"If we don't think of anything to play, what could we do?" asked Sunset.

"We may have to face the fact that… our music days are over," said Rarity.

"Don't say that, Rarity," said Pinkie, as she rushes toward her and places her hands on Rarity's shoulders, "never give up."

"You're right, darling," said Rarity, as she stands up, "we can't give up. We need some sort of inspiration."

"Like what kind?" asked Rainbow.

"I don't know, Dashie, but I have a feeling that it'll come to us soon enough."










7:31 AM


The four friends leave the vehicle and stand in front of their new school.

"Phew, what a dump," said Murdoc, "I can't believe this is our school."

"No worries Murdoc," says 2D patting his back, "you'll get used to it."

"I'm here for music and that she-demon."

"You better take it easy, cuz," said Russel, "we need to make a good impression for the principal and we need to get our classes from here. Don't screw this up."

"Ugh! Alright, mate," said Murdoc, "I'll behave."

"You better," scowled Russel.

"What do you think of it, Noodle?" asked 2D, as he looks over to Noodle.

Noodle gave him a smile and a thumb up. 2D ruffles her hair, as the four friends walk past the statue and past seven girls. 2D stops and looks over to the girls, as his friends' head up the stairs.

"Excuse me, ladies," said 2D, as he adjusted his tie, "do you know where the principals office is?"

The girls looked at 2D with disgust, knowing that his eyes look like two black holes. Fluttershy looks away out of freight, Pinkie just stares into 2D's eyes, AJ looks away, Rainbow continues playing her game, Twilight stares at him silently, Sunset does the same. As for Rarity, she ignores the fact that the girls are disturbed by his appearance, but not to her. 

"When you enter the school, you take a left and you'll see the office on your left," said Rarity.

"Thank you, Miss," said 2D, as he give her his hand, "my name is 2D, but you may also call me Stuart."

"Such a gentleman you are, Stuart," said Rarity, as she shook his hand, "my name is Rarity. Are you and your friends new here?"

"Indeed," said 2D, as they broke the handshake.

"Well, I hope you have an excellent time around Canterlot High and won't have the odd looks like my friends are giving you. How rude."

"Don't need to worry, Miss Rarity. My friends and I are used to it."

"Well, you might want to hurry up. School will start soon."

"Nice meeting you, Miss Rarity," said 2D, as he walks away and towards the top of the stairs to where his friends are waiting for him.

"Nice to see you too, Stuart," waved Rarity, as 2D waved back before disappearing behind the doors of the school entrance.

Rarity turns around and claps her hands to bring her friends back into reality.

"You girls are rude," said Rarity, "it's very rude to stare."

"Sorry, Rarity, but his eyes were… black," said Rainbow.

"It felt as though I was lookin' at a deadman," said AJ.

"His eyes looked scary," whispered Fluttershy.

Pinkie said nothing, but have two black holes for eyes like out of a certain horror film.

"PINKIE!" shouted Rarity, making Pinkies eyes go back to normal.

"I'm sorry, what were we talking about?" asked Pinkie.

"About the new student that spoke to us with black eyes," said Rarity.

"Oh, 2D? Yeah, him and friends are new here. I believe they're here because they need the education for their future of fame."

"What makes you say that, darling?" 

"Just a hunch," said Pinkie, as she puts away her balloons.

"If you're right Pinkie, do you think that they know something about music?" asked Sunset.

"Possibly," replies Pinkie.

"Sunset! Don't change the subject! You and Twilight were both gawking at him, too."

"I apologize Rarity, but I've never seen anyone like them… they seemed… odd."

"And what pray tell do you mean?" asked Rarity, as she tapped her foot.

"I feel both a bad, but somewhat good vibe from them."

"I feel the same," said Twilight, "they seem bad, but somewhat good. Do you think we should investigate these guys?"

"Possibly… just to be safe, we must know who these guys are and why they are here."

"Do you think they are looking for magic and are planning to take it to overcome this world?" 

"If so, then they must be stopped. We'll investigate them by lunchtime."

"What if you're wrong, Sunset," asked Rarity, "what if they are just ordinary students?"

"They aren't ordinary, Rarity," said Sunset, "they look too bizarre to be ordinary. What kind of student has two black holes for eyes? What kind of student has two eye colors? What kind of student has white eyes? They must be some type of evil beings from Equestria."

"You may have a point, darling," said Rarity, "if they are evil beings, then I'm in to take them out."

"Whose in to take out these evil doers?" asked Sunset, as she sticks out her hand.

"I'm in," said Rainbow.

"Me too," said AJ.

"Me three," said Pinkie.

"Count me in too," said Fluttershy.

"I'm in as well," said Twilight.

"I guess I'll join too," said Rarity.

"That's the spirit, Rarity," said Sunset, "down with the evil doers!"

"Down with the evil doers!" said the rest.

"Let go kick some butt," said Sunset.










7:43 AM

Principals Office


"So you must be the new students from, where?" asked principal Celestia, as she sat on her chair tapping her pen on the desk.

"We're from Britain, Ma'am," said 2D.

"And you four are here for both education and what?"

"Fame, ma'am," said Russel.

"I see," said principal Celestia, as she went opens her left drawer and hands the four their classes and schedules, "well, I hope you have a great time at Canterlot High and I hope you guys won't have any problems. If things go wrong, you may come to a teacher, my sister, or I. Any questions you like to know?"

"Oy," said Murdoc, "I hear that there's an after school band program. Is that true?"

"There is, Murdoc," said Principal Celestia, "After school, you head down to room B-07. Hopefully, you guys will make some friends in there to help you out."

"I think we're alright with ourselves, ma'am," said Murdoc.

"O-okay."

The four friends and principal Celestia stand up from their chairs, as their meeting has come to an end.

"Thank you for the welcome and help, Ma'am," said 2D, as he shakes her hand.

"Anytime, Stuart," said principal Celestia with a smile.

"Thanks mate," said Murdoc, giving her a handshake with his unclean hands.

"Thank you, Murdoc," said principal Celestia, as she gave him a three second shake.

"Sorry that you have to shake his grubby hands, ma'am," said Russel, as he shook her hand.

"No problem," lied principal Celestia.

Noodle didn't shake her hand; instead, she gave her a bow and a smile.

"Why thank you, Noodle," said Celestia.

Noodle nods before the bell begins to ring throughout the school.

"Get going, you guys. You don't want a tardy on your first day of school," said principal Celestia, as the four friends exited the office.

Celestia immediately pressed onto the hand sanitizer into her palm and scrubbed thoroughly all over her hands.

"Ick! I don't like that Murdoc kid," thought principal Celestia, "either than him, those other three were nice, but bizarre looking. I wonder..."


> The Meeting of Two Bands

"Good morning everyone," said Miss Cheerliee, as the students sat in their desks except for one, "starting today, we have a new student. Tell us what your name is, young man."

"Good morning everyone," said 2D, as he waved his hand to the class, "my name is 2D, but you may also call me Stuart. I came here all the way from Britain and I came here to learn. I hope you all can get along with me."

The class didn't reply; only silence. 

"G-good to know, Stuart," said Miss Cheeriliee, as she looked away from his face, "why don't you sit over there in front of Derpy, please."

"Of course, Miss Cheerilee," said 2D, as he walks over to his desk and sits down.

"Canterlot High welcomes you and I hope you have a fantastic time here," said Cheerilee, as she edits the seating arrangement on her computer.

"Here, Stuart," said Derpy, as she hands him a blueberry muffin from behind, "I hope you enjoy this school. May you have a great first day at school."

2D smiles and takes the offered muffin and places it on the left corner of his desk.

"Thank you, derby was it?" asked 2D.

"That's my name," said Derpy with a smile.

"Besides getting the weird looks from everyone, I think I'm gonna like this school," thought 2D, as Miss Cheerilee writes on the board.

"Today class, we are about to start reading Beowulf," said Miss Cheerilee, as she pointed to her writing, "it's an epic tale that has violence, war and fantasy."

"It's been a long while since my father read me Beowulf. I think I'll enjoy this class," thought 2D, as took a bite into his muffin.









"Hello everyone," said Murdoc, as the class looked at him bizarrely, "the name's Murdoc Niccals and I came here all the way from Britain to get the education that I bloody need to have a great career in my future."

"Good to know, young man," said Miss Chrysalis, as she writes down on the seating chart, "why don't you sit over there behind Flash."

"No problem, mate," said Murdoc, as he walks over to his seat and sits down.

"Today class, we are about to learn about car insurance," said Miss Chrysalis, as she pressed a button on her remote to turn on the projector, "for this lesson, you will be writing long and thorough notes. We will as well as work on study guides to make you prepared for your test in five weeks."

"Oy," murmured Murdoc, "this class is going to be my least favorite. God, I loathe education, but its for my future."









"Okay everyone, today we have a new student who is jointing the school," said Miss Harshwhinny, "tell us your name and what is your goal in life, young man."

"Hello everyone, the name's Russel Hobbs, but you may just call me Russel. My true intent on being here is because my friends and I need our education to prepare our future for fame."

"Fame? Pray tell what kind of fame?" asked Miss Harshwhinny with a cocked eyebrow.

"A music band career, Miss Harshwhinny."

"Oh. Well I hope you give me good grades or your dream won't come true, young man. Why don't you sit down and lets get this class started."

Russel walks over to an empty desk, which was close by to Twilight, as she stared into his eyes.

"Hello, Russel," whispered Twilight, "nice to meet you, I'm Twilight."

"Nice to meet you too," whispered Russel, "I hope we can get along."

"Are you familiar with a place called Equestria?" 

"No," said Russel with a cocked eyebrow, "I ain't familiar with that place. I've never heard of it."

"Do you know about magic?"

"Magic? The only magic I know is the sound of music from the bands my friends and I listen to. Why are you asking bizarre questions?"


"Sorry. I was just wondering," said Twilight with an awkward chuckle, as she adjusted her glasses.

"It's okay. I guess everyone around here isn't used to the way we look yet. I caught a glimpse of you and your friends when 2D asked one of your friends about where the principals office was."

"So that's what Rarity was talking about," said Twilight, as she thought back to this morning.

"Come again?"

"Oh, it's nothing," said Twilight, "anyway, nice to meet you Russel."

"Nice to meet you too, Twilight."

"Okay everyone, take out your books," announced Miss Harshwhinny, as everyone takes out their books, "today we are learning about World War Two. Turn your pages to page two hundred and twenty-three, please."

"Excuse me, Ma'am," said Russel, as he raised his hand.

"What is it?"

"I don't have a book."

"Oh that's right. You're new here. Well, go to the library and take out a history book and have it checked out to this class."

"Where is the library?"

"Come here. I'll give you a map," said Miss Harshwhinny, as she opened one of her drawers and takes out a map.

Russel stands up and walks up to her desk.

"Here you go," said Miss Harshwhinny, as Russel takes the map, "now quickly, to the library."

"I'll be back in a bit," said Russel, as he left the classroom.









"Good morning, Classroom and today we have a new student," said Professor Discord, "May I have your name, young lady?"

"Hello, I am Noodle," said Noodle, as she bowed to the class.

"Well Noodle, could you sit down by Rainbow Dash over there?" said Discord, as he pointed towards the station where Rainbow Dash was sitting.

Rainbow Dash gives her a questionable look until noodle turns her head towards her and smiles.

"Hello," said Noodle.

"Hello," said Rainbow awkwardly, "n-nice to meet you. May I ask you something?"

Noodle gives her a nod.

"Are you familiar with a certain place called Equestria?"

Noodle tilts her head in an unsure manner.

"Oh… how about magic? Do you have any magic powers on you?"

Noodle shakes her head.

"Really? You and your friends aren't creatures from a magical world and are planning to take over the school and possibly the world?"

Noodle gives her a blank expression and responds by shaking her head yet again.

"Well… okay then, welcome to our school, the name's Rainbow Dash, but you can also call me Dash."

"Noodle."

The two girls shake hands and made peace with one another.

"Miss Noodle," said Professor Discord, as he walks up to their desk, "here's your science book. You're gonna need it."

"Arigato," she says, as she grabs onto the book.

"Doo itashimashite," replied Professor Discord before turning around to continue his lecture on the evolution of man, "So class, just for kicks, I'm going to show you guys and gals a music video that can help you understand what evolution is with a little of science fiction in it. Enjoy."

Discord turns the projector on until the screen pops up of a music video called Do The Evolution by Pearl Jam.

"Here we go," says Professor Discord, as he presses play on the video.


"What a crazy video," said Rainbow Dash, as the video came to an end, "What do you think, Noodle."

Noodle smiles and gives her a thumb up.

"You liked it?"

Noodle nods.

"Can you speak?"

"I'm still learn English. Was born in Japan," said Noodle.

"Oh, sorry I asked."

"No problem. I get hang of it soon enough. 2D teach me."

"Which one of your friends is that?"

"Blue hair, black eyes, british."

"Oh him? Sounds like a nice guy."

"He is."

"May my friends see your friends at some point during lunchtime?"

Noodle nods in agreement.

"Cool. Anyway, let's pay attention before Professor Discord notices that we aren't paying attention."

"Miss Dash," said Professor Dsicord, "care to explain what those little creatures were in the beginning of the music video?"

"Oh those? Well… those are… um… microscopic organisms?"

"Correct!" 

"Well looks like we have been paying attention," chuckled Rainbow Dash.

Noodle smiles and looks back towards Professor Discord.










Lunchtime


"I'm telling you girls, they aren't evil," said Rainbow Dash, "they just look like weird guys."

"I talked to Russel and he seems like a nice guy," said Twilight before taking a bite into her jelly sandwich.

"I was a few desks to the left from where that Murdoc guy was and he looks like some kind of awful womanizer," said Sunset.

"This is what I meant by this morning," said Rarity, "we shouldn't judge a person by their appearance."

"Perhaps they aren't as evil as we thought of they were," said Sunset, "let's go greet them and give them our welcome."

"Yeah," said the girls all together.









"So what have you guys learned today?" asked 2D, as he sits down beside Noodle, "Noodle?"

"We watch music video called 'Do The Evolution' by Pearl Jam."

"Pearl Jam you say?" says Murdoc, "you are lucky mate."

"Anything else?" asked 2D.

"We learn about evolution and I made friends with Dash."

"Dash? Who is she Noodle?"

"She is girl with rainbow hair and has nice personality."

"She sounds like a fun person to hang around. What did you learn today Russel?"

"We're starting to learn about World War 2," said Russel.

"The one with the nazis and the concentration camps?" asked Murdoc.

"You have Miss Harshwhinny too?"

"I hate her. She's a rubbish looking bird."

"I have to agree with you on that, Murdoc. She seemed pretty angry."

"Of what? Not being able to have sex because of her wrinkles?"

"That's going too far, dawg."

"Eh, whatever," says Murdoc, as he takes a bite into his piece of pie that he left in the fridge for the past three weeks, "but I did learn something today."

"Really?" says 2D with a cocked eyebrow, "tell us."

"That this school has many hot chicks that are smart," says Murdoc with a chuckle.

2D, Noodle and Russel gave out a groan.

"I especially found that principal Celestia sexy as hell. Don't you agree, mate?"

"Is that all you can think about?" asked Russel.

"The only things I think about are fame, money, women, and music. That's all," said Murdoc, as he takes another bite into his slice of pie.

"It's amazing that we're even friends."

"Without me mate, you three won't see your fame in the future," says Murdoc, as he spits out little chunks of pie.

"Don't talk with your mouth full that's nasty."

"Yes mom," ridicules Murdoc before taking another bite into his slice of pie.

As the four friends continue to eaten silence, a girl comes up to them with bacon-like hair.

"'Ello," says 2D.

"Hello," says Russel.

"Hello," says Noodle.

"Who the blood hell are you?" asked Murdoc, as he pushes away his tenfold trash into the garbage.

"Nice to meet you all," said the girl, "welcome to Canterlot High. My name is Sunset Shimmer. My friends and I would like to get to know you better."

Murdoc's eyes lit up.

"Oy! 2D? Isn't she the one?"

"What?"

"The she-demon?"

"Can we not talk about that," said Sunset Shimmer in an uncomfortable manner.

"Why not beautiful?" asked Murdoc, as he stands up and observes her body, "are you not the she-demon I heard about?"

"I once was, but not anymore."

"Wait… was?" says Murdoc with surprise.

"Yeah… I was reborn and I learned the power of friendship."

"Friendship? Really? This sucks! And I wanted to see you as a she-demon."

"Why?"

"Ignore him, Miss Shimmer," says Russel, "he just has a things for she-demons."

"Shut up, Hobbs!" retorted Murdoc.

"So sorry about his rudeness," says 2D, as he stood up and shook her hand, "I'm 2D, but you may call me Stuart."

"Nice to meet you Stuart," says Sunset before breaking the hug.

"This rude guy is Murdoc."

Murdoc gives 2D a sneer and looks away.

"The large guy is Russel and the girl is Noodle."

"Nice to meet you, Miss Shimmer," said Russel.

Noodle gives her a wave.

"May my friends sit down with you four?"

"Why not? The more the merrier," said 2D.

Sunset waves to her friends, as she sits down across from them. Six girls sat down; three of them have already met them. 

"So girls, I talked to them and they go by the names of Murdoc, 2D or Stuart, Noodle and Russel," says Sunset, as she pointed to each of the four friends.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Applejack, but you may also call me AJ."

"I'm Twilight," said Twilight, as she adjusted her glasses.

"I already know who you are," said Russel, as he waved to her.

Twilight waved back with a smile.

"I'm Pinkie Pie, but you can just call me Pinkie."

"I'm Rarity and I already spoke to you, Stuart," said Rarity, as she gave 2D a wave.

"Good to see you again, Rarity," said 2D, as he waved back.

"I'm Rainbow Dash, but you may also call me Dashie."

"Good to see you again, Dash," said Noodle.

"Same."

"I'm… Fluttershy," whispered Fluttershy out of freight.

"Come again?"

"Fluttershy."

"Nice to meet you Fluttershy," said 2D, "I hope you get over the fear of us. We get ridiculed a lot and we're used to it."

"You get ridiculed, darling?" asked Rarity.

"We do," said Murdoc, "especially I."

"Why's that?"

"I was raised by a terrible father that used me to get fast dough. Unlike these three, I was born in a nuthouse. My mother abandoned me when I was just an infant and was raised by a man who treated me like crap for years. During those years my brother Hinibal got me into good music, but I don't see him or my father anymore."

"What happened?" asked Sunset.

"I got away from my father because he was horrible and my brother… well I don't know how, but he's in jail for something."

"How horrible."

"Anyway, after listening to a lot of music that I still enjoy to this day, it came to me; I knew what I wanted to become."

"A musician?" asked Pinkie.

"You got it, frizzy hair. I wanted to be a musician. I want to rock and roll around the world and to be a famous musician. To seal the deal, I made some negotiations with the man below if you know what I mean. We came to an arrangement and I changed my middle name to 'Faust' and in return, have his guitar El Diablo, which makes a really good noise when I pull the strings. I wrote some music, but I didn't have the vocal talent. 2D however, he's the voice of our band."

"You can sing, darling?" asked Rarity.

"Of course I can."

"Could you sing for us after school?"

"Of course. We four would love to show our music skills before we come to our future stardom."

"Wonderful!" jumps Pinkie.

"Darling? Could you tell us about yourself?" asked Rarity to 2D.

"Why of course. You see, before I met these fellas, I was into movies than music back then. I enjoyed zombie films, horror and thrillers. When I did get into music, I would blast the music loud and jump on my bed."

Rarity giggles, including everyone else.

"May I ask something," said Twilight, as she adjusted her glasses, "what happened to your eyes?"

"When it first happened, I fell out of a tree when I was eleven and my eye color went blue. Luckily, my mother is a nurse who gave me some painkillers to make the pain go away."

"But they're black."

"The second time was my fault," said Murdoc, "I was with 2D in a car and I was pulling a three hundred sixty degree doughnuts. I took it up a notch by taking my foot off the brake. I was hitting on ninety when 2D was flung through the windscreen and he flew about five hundred yards face first on a carb."

"Ouch!" said Rainbow Dash, "what happened next?"

"He stands up really slowly like one of those zombie films he watches and when he did, no eyes. A vacant stare that will make the girls go wild. Thus, named him 2D."

"My goodness, how are you alive darling?" asked Rarity.

"Luck I guess."

"How did you two meet?"

"I was working in a store and Murdoc crashes into the building with his car, making me paralyzed. He was sentenced to look after me for a while after the incident."

"Looking after you was like watching a bad of cement," said Murdoc with a chuckle.

"How did you encounter Murdoc, Russel?" asked Twilight.

"I was working in a record store and he came in for a record. When I turned around to find the record, he slipped a sac over my head and the next thing I knew, I was at his place. The music he played me was good to keep me there."

"Why do your eyes look like that?"

"That's quite a scary story, but I'll tell you… it all began when I was me and my friends were parked outside of a 7/11 store when suddenly, a car came up to us and they for no reason, started shooting us."

The girls yelped with surprise.

"What happened next?" asked Pinkie.

"They shot at us, but for some odd reason the bullets never hit me, but they did kill my friends, including my besets friend Del. Suddenly, I saw death himself; the grim reaper."

"You faced death? What was he like?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"I couldn't get a glimpse of his face, but he did carry a large scythe and wore a black hood over his head. Seeing him is gonna haunt me to this day. He then brought back the souls of my dead friends and they were sucked right into me. Because of that, that's the reason to why my eyes look like this."

"I'm gettin' the willies just from hearin' this story," said Applejack, as she cringed.

"How did you come with these guys Noodle?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"We needed another person the band and she came to us at a perfect time. I was typing out posters when there was a knock at the door. When I opened it, no one was there but a big box. I pulled it in and suddenly, this girl pops out and starts rocking the house," said Murdoc.

"She rocked out on a guitar, which sounded like a hundred demons screaming. After doing some moves, she bowed and said, 'Noodle'," says 2D.

"Thus, our band was born," said Murdoc.

"Who are you guys?" asked Sunset.

The four friends give out a grin.

"We're the Gorillaz," said Murdoc with a chuckle.

The final bell rings and everyone begins to leave their classrooms, expect for those who stay for the after school programs. Sunset, Twilight and the rest head towards the music room, along with the four new students. As they entered, the room was perfect for them. On one corner, were the instruments that they used, which made Murdoc excited.

"I call guitar," said Murdoc, as he rushed over to grab ahold of the blue bass that lay beside the drums.

"Be careful with the guitar," said Rainbow Dash, "they belong to the school."

"Don't worry mate," said Murdoc, as he began tuning the bass, "I won't do anything bad to it."

Russel looks over towards the drum set and looks back at the girls.

"Would it be okay if we showed you girls our music?" asked Russel.

"Sure," said Pinkie, "go right ahead and use those drums to your hearts content."

"Thanks Pinks," said Russel, as he walks over to the drums and sat down, along with pulling out the drumsticks.

"Rainbow," said Noodle, "is there any guitars?"

"Sure, there's a few that have been with the school for a while in that locker over there," said Rainbow, as she points out a locker to the left, "the combination is 5643."

Noodle bows and walks over to the locker and starts putting in the numbers. The lock gives out a click and Noodle opens it to see three guitars with many colors. Noodle takes out a green guitar, before closing the locker and tuning it up.

"What song is it that we are gonna sing to them Murdoc?" asked 2D.

Murdoc finishes his tuning and gives 2D a grin.

"The one we've worked on since we became a band," says Murdoc with a chuckle.

2D, Russel and Noodle grinned. 2D walks between the four friends and stands in the middle.

"You ladies are gonna like this," said 2D, as the girls stood there with curiosity to what they were about to unleash.

Russel taps on his drumsticks before they began to play:


As the song ends, only Pinkie bursts out with confetti with claps. The other girls stood there silent and amazed.

"Woo! You guys are absolutely fantastic," said Pinkie, as she finishes her clapping.

"Thank you," said 2D, as he, Murdoc, Russel and Noodled made a bow.

"Whoa… could you explain that blue guy that returned inside Russel's head?" asked Sunset, "Never in my life have I seen anything like that."

"Same," said the other girls.

"That would be my friend Del," said Russel, "his spirit is inside of me. He even comes out when I sleep."

"How do ya know that?" asked Applejack.

"I've seen Del sneak around the house taking our food," said Murdoc.

"There's your proof," said Russel.

"Can we meet him?" asked Pinkie.

"Meet him? You'd like to meet him?" asked Russel with a cocked eyebrow.

"Sure," said Pinkie, as she hops to his side, "let me get him out."

"How?"

Pinkie snaps her fingers and was somehow to slide her hand in Russels ear and pull out Del, who seemed to big to be pulled out like that. Russel stood there passed out, as Del looks over towards Pinkie who gives him a cheerful grin.

"Who da hell are you?" asked Del, as Pinkie lets go of his wrist.

"I'm Pinkie. The one who pulled you out of Russel."

Del looks back to Russel, then back at pinkie, then Russel, then Pinkie once more.

"How da hell you do that?" 

"Don't question it," said the girls, "it's Pinkie."

Del shrugs and walks over to the girls.

"Hey baes, I'm Del."

"I'm Sunset."

"Rainbow Dash."

"Applejack."

"Rarity."

"Fluttershy," said Fluttershy quietly out of freight.

"Come again?" asked Del.

"Fluttershy."

"I can see you're scared, but don worry. I ain't not gonna hurt ya."

"Good to know."

"I'm Rarity," said Rarity, giving Del a curtsey.

"I'm Twilight and this is my dog Spike," she said, as she pulls out Spike from her backpack.

Spike gives Del a few friendly barks. Del raises a hand and pets the dog gently.

"Hey Spikey wikey," said Del, as he pets Spike under his chin.

"Hey! That's my line, darling," grunted Rarity.

"Sorry yo," said Del, as he backed off a bit.

"Miss Twilight, aren't pets not supposed to be around the school?" asked 2D.

"Yes, but he's been my friend for a long time and I hate leaving him at home," said Twilight, as she scratches behind Spike's left ear.

"I too bring my animal friends," said Fluttershy, as she unzips her back, bringing out a white rabbit, a squirrel and a bird.

"How do you ever get to keep those cutesy animals to stay silent?" asked Murdoc.

"I honesty don't know."

"Magic?" snorted Murdoc. 

Everyone in the room laughed, except for Russel who looked brain dead.

"Could you ladies perform for us?" asked 2D.

"We sure would, Darling," said Rarity, "there's going to be a battle of the bands happening soon and we have to be prepared for that."

"Battle of the bands?!" said Murdoc with surprise.

"Battle of the bands?!" said 2D.

"Battle of bands?!" said Noodle.

"Battle of da bands, you?" said Del.

"Bathle ov tha bans?" said Russel.

"Your heard right," said Rainbow, "and our band is known as The Rainbooms."

"Oy! Is there some way we could get involved?!" asked Murdoc, as he rushes over to Rainbow Dash.

"Sure. There are more openings. Go see principal Celestia tomorrow and ask her. The only one at the office at the moment is the vice principal."

"Mates, this is it! Who's in?!" asked Murdoc, as he raises his hand.

"I'm in!" said 2D.

"In," said Noodle.

"We gonna rock da house, you," said Del.

Russel raises a hand.

"Good to know," says Murdoc.

"Fantastic!" said Pinkie, as she throws confetti in the air with excitement, "the school's gonna love your music!"

"Thank you very much, Pinkie," said 2D, "we'll do our best."

"We hope you ladies do fine too," said Del, as his spiritual essence goes back into Russel, which made him come back to conscience. 

"Let's rock, yo!" said Russel, as he raises his drumsticks in the air.

"Russel," says Murdoc, "let's see what these girls could do. I'm curious to know what music they'll be performing."

"Sure," said Russel, as he and the other three leave the instruments behind and stood where the girls saw them perform.

The girls (except for Twilight and Sunset) grabbed their instruments and tuned their instruments.

"Can't wait to you ladies perform," said 2D, as he gave them a few claps, "you too Rarity."

"Why thank you, Darling," she says with a giggle.

2D blushes and looks down to the floor. Murdoc elbows him for attention; 2D looks over to Murdoc, who gives him a wink. 2D looks back to the girls, as they finished tuning up.

"Ready girls?" asked Twilight, as she stood beside Russel.

"You know it," said Rainbow Dash, "Hit it!"


"Bravo girls," said 2D, as he, Russel and Noodle clapped, "brilliant."

Murdoc sneered and clapped slowly. The three friends stare at Murdoc with a sneer. Murdoc rolls his eyes and claps quicker.

"You girls are good singers," said Russel.

"Thanks Russ," said Twilight beside him.

"Russ? That my nickname?"

"Do you not like it?"

"Nah, it fine."

Twilight smiles, as Spike gives out a bark. Murdoc gives out a yawn and a stretch.

"You know, today's been enough," said Murdoc, "I have an assignment from Miss Chrysalis."

"I have to read some pages from Beaowulf," said 2D.

"I have English to work," said Noodle.

"History homework," said Russel.

"Aw, you guys are leaving?" said Pinkie with a frown.

"Looks like it," said 2D, "don't worry, we'll see each other again."

"You Pinkie promise?" asked Pinkie, as she holds out her Pinky finger.

"Promise," said 2D, as he wraps his pinky around her.

"Cross you heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in your eye?"

"Sure," said Russel, as he and Noodle held up their pinky fingers.

Murdoc groaned and held up his pinky. Pinkie smiles and gives the four friends a group hug. The other girls copied and joined in.

"See ya girls," said Murdoc, as he walks out the room.

2D, Noodle and Russel wave goodbye and disappear behind the doors. The four friends walk down the hall and towards the exit.

"Such sweet girls," thought 2D, "I especially like that Rarity girl."

"I can't wait to see them tomorrow," thought Russel.

"Can't wait to see Dash again," thought Noodle.

"Battle of the bands, here we come," thought Murdoc with a somewhat evil chuckle.










Two miles away was a condo complex; everyone was asleep, except for those in one of the condos. Inside, one of the three girls stared menacingly at Canterlot High, while the other two sat down on the couch watching a TV series.

"Girls," said the girl with poofy hair, "I think I know where the magic is coming from."

"Where?" asked the girl with two ponytails.

"Is it in a funhouse?" asked the girl with a ponytail, "I really hope you found it at some funhouse."

"No! I believe it's coming from that school over there," said the poofy-haired girl, as she pointed towards the distant school.

"A school? Really Adagio?" said the girl with two ponytails.

"Hell yes, really. I have a good feeling that that place is the ticket to giving us more power. Once we gain enough power, the world will adore us for we are none other than The Dazzlings.

2D wakes up as music blasts from downstairs from the kitchen.


"Oy," grumbles 2D, as he leans up and rubs his eyes, "Why does Murdoc have to blast loud music in the mornings?"

2D jumps out of his bed wearing nothing, but boxers. He groggily walks over to the closet and pulls out his clothes: blue jeans, his Hello Kinky shirt, socks, boxers and a black jacket. He then walks into the bathroom and shuts the door behind himself.










Twenty Minutes Later…


2D walks down the stairs to see Noodle and Russel eating breakfast. Noodle was eating a bowl of cheerios, as Russel had toast with jam. The two look over to 2D, as he reaches for the cupboard.

"Mornin' 2D," said Russel, as he turns off the radio.

"Good morning, Russel, Noodle," replied 2D, as he walks back to the table with cereal and an empty bowl of cereal.

"Good morning," said Noodle before taking another bite into her spoon.

"How was homework last night for you, Russel?" asked 2D, as he pours cereal into the bowl and then puts in milk.

"It was easy, but a little hard," replied Russel before taking another bite into his toast.

"Little hard for me too," said Noodle.

"It'll get harder soon," said 2D, as he sat down and began eating.

As the three ate in silence, Murdoc comes in wearing nothing, but his underwear. He gives out a yawn and slouches to the fridge and pulls out a slice of cold pizza.

"Mornin' mates," said Murdoc sleazily. 

"Good morning, Murdoc," said 2D.

"Mornin'," said Russel.

"Ohayou," said Noodle.

"Ugh, I don't want to go to school today," groaned Murdoc.

"Grow up, cuz," said Russel.

"Are you still grouchy because you didn't see Sunset turn into a she-demon?" asked 2D.

"That and learning is a pain in the arse," said Murdoc, as he sat down, "but it's for our future."

"Exactly," said 2D with a nod.

"Come now," said Russel, as he grabs his empty plate and stands up, "we have to get ready for school."

"Ready to have another great day at school, Noodle?" asked 2D, as Noodle gives him a nod.

"You're right," said Murdoc, as he takes his final bite, "I gotta change. At least we have weekends off."









In front of the school, the seven friends sat there talking about the new kids and how cool they were. 

"I like that Stuart fellow," said Rarity, "he's quite a gentleman."

"Noodle was a nice girl," said Rainbow, "it's strange that she met them from being shipped there."

"Russel was a nice guy," said Twilight, "I sit by him in History class."

"You do?" asked Applejack.

"Yep."

"Um…I still find that Stuart guys' eyes creepy," said Fluttershy quietly.

Sunset looked over to the parking lot and notices the four new students exiting their jeep.

"Speak of the devil," said Sunset, as she points over to the four friends.

The girls looked to where she pointed and walked up to them.

"Good morning, Gorillaz," said Pinkie with a large smile.

"Good morning, girls," said 2D, "did you all sleep well?"

"We sure did, Stuart," said Rarity.

"We were just talking about you guys," said Sunset, "and that I will be gone most of today to show these other three new students around the school."

"New students?" said the other girls, including the Gorillaz.

"Yep. I want to make a good impression and have to show them around."

"Well good luck with that," said Russel.

"Make them feel good," said 2D.

Noodle gives Sunset the thumbs up.

"Rock 'em dead," said Murdoc.

"You can do it, Sunset," said the girls.

"Thanks guys. Now, time for you guys to get to class. The bells are gonna ring in a minute."

The friends wave goodbye to Sunset, as they and everyone else entered the school. Sunset stands in front of the school and gives out an exhale.

"Time to make a good impression," said Sunset to herself.









As Murdoc writes down on his notebook the notes from the board, he then looks over to the window and notices Sunset walking ahead of three girls. One had poofy orange hair and the other had a ponytail. The one that caught Murdoc's eye was the girl with twin ponytails, her shirt with the sleeves clipped off and her attitude. As he continued to stare at her, he begins to see stars all around her and sees her walking in slow motion. Murdoc was in love. 

"Murdoc?" said Miss Chrysalis from her desk, bringing Murdoc back into reality.

"Oy?" said Murdoc.

"Did you get that?"

"Huh?"

"The notes?"

"Oh! Yes, mate."

"Okay then," said Miss Chrysalis, as she changes the slide to the next one, "now-"

Miss Chrysalis drones on about today's notes, as Murdoc began daydreaming about that girl that caught his eye.

"Who was that ravishing, heavy metal-looking girl?" thought Murdoc.









Murdoc sits down with his friends, including the other six girls. Murdoc gave out a sigh of bliss, as he still continues to think about the girl from this morning. 2D and Russel cock and eyebrow at Murdoc, while Noodle tips her head.

"Murdoc? You all right?" asked 2D.

"I'm feeling fine," replied Murdoc.

"You sure?" asked Russel.

"Absolutely, mate."

2D and Russel looked at each other , then back at Murdoc.

"Murdoc, what's up?" asked Russel.

"You seem…satisfied about something," said 2D.

"Mate, do you know how to pick up a lady?"

2D, Russel, Noodle and the girls gasped. They huddled around Murdoc with amazement in their eyes.

"Murdoc, are you in love?" asked 2D.

"Cuz, you serious?" asked Russel.

"Does Murdoc have a crush on someone?" asked Pinkie.

"Who is it, darling?" asked Rairty.

Before Murdoc could retort, Sunset comes by and sits down. Everyone gave her the attention and sat back to their seat to talk to her.

"Hey, Sunset," said Twilight, as she adjusts her glasses, "how were the new girls?"

"The new girls? There was something…strange about them," said Sunset.

"Like what kind of strange," asked Pinkie, "like these guys strange? Or Professor Discord strange?"

"I couldn't put my finger on it, it was as if they had some sort of… magical aura."

Suddenly, the cafeteria doors burst open and comes in three girls singing. Murdoc's heart pounds quickly, as he sees one of them from this morning.

"It's her," said Murdoc quietly.


Suddenly, everyone in the entire cafeteria was arguing with one another, except for the seven girls and the Gorillaz.

"Oh, you meant that kind of strange," said Pinkie.

Murdoc continues to stare at the girl with two ponytails and his cheeks began to flush. 2D looks over to Murdoc and then looks over to who he was staring at.

"Is it her?" asked 2D, as he points over to the girl with two ponytails.

"That's her," said Murdoc in a dreamy voice.

"Oy!" shouts 2D, to get the girls' attention, "Murdoc is in love with one of the new girls."

"WHAT?!" shouted Pinkie.

"He's in love with the girl with two ponytails."

"WHA-" Pinkie was cut off, as Applejack places a hand over her mouth.

"OY! I think she's my type of girl," said Murdoc.

"Her name is Aria, in case you were wondering," said Sunset with a smirk.

"Aria, eh? I like her name."

"Why don't you go talk to her?" said 2D, as he nudged Murdoc.

"I would, but I'm embarrassed," said Murdoc with a grunt of frustration.

"Darling, if you like her, we're here to help," said Rarity.

"We're all in this together," said Sunset.

"Okay," said Rarity, as everyone huddled up, "here's what you need to do, Murdoc."









The final bell rings, as everyone leaves their classes and exits the school. The dazzlings exited with smirks on their faces, still noticing their magic is still making students negative to one another, with the except of some students. The three girls make it to the bottom of the stares, but were stopped, as Murdoc rushed in front of them, with his guitar.

"Um… can we help you?" asked Aria.

"H-hi, girls," said Murdoc with nervousness, "welcome to Canterlot and I hope you ladies have a good time. I hope you join the music club."

"Nah," said Adagio, "we don't do clubs."

Murdoc grips his guitar and does some strumming of the Clint Eastwood song. The three girls looked rather impressed and Sonata claps.

"Encore," said Sonata before stopping her clapping.

"You got some talent," said Adagio.

"I liked it," said Aria.

"My name is Murdoc, mate."

"Adagio."

"Sonata."

"Aria."

"Aria? What a pretty name. It sounds like a name of a goddess."

Aria flushes, as Adagio and Sonata smirk at her. Aria looks back at Murdoc and scoffs.

"Out of the way," she said, as she pushes him to the ground, "come on, let's go before this doofus says anything smooth to me."

The girls followed and walked away and down towards their direction home. Murdoc brings himself up and looks over to Aria and smiles.

"What a babe," he says to himself, "totally my type."









"What a creep that guy was," said Aria, as she and the other two sirens walked along a sidewalk through Canterlot city towards their home.

"He may look like a creep," said Adagio, "but I can see that he likes you."

"Huh?"

"Yep," agrees Sonata, "I noticed him flushing when he said about your name being goddess-like."

"I too noticed that you were blushing when he said that."

Aria flushes and grunts.

"I don't like him," said Aria, looking away, "he's weird looking."

"Another thing that bugged me was him, his friends and those girls, including that girl that gave us a tour of the school. I feel magic coming off of them."

"What makes you think that Murdoc guy and his friends have magic?"

"Murdoc, you say?" said a muffled voice from within an alleyway.

The girls stopped and looked through the alleyway. Nothing; it was too dark to see further down. 

"Hello?" said Adagio.

No reply. However, suddenly, two red pairs of glowing light appeared. The girls back up, as the two red orbs floated higher.

"Did you say 'Murdoc'?" asked the two red orbs.

The girls couldn't reply; they were scared. Then, the two red orbs floated towards them and a figure began to be shown. The figure had a gas mask and had a cloak that was black. The girls couldn't see much of its legs; it was as if this being was a ghost. 

"Wh-who are you?" asked Adagio.

Suddenly, the being raised its arms above himself, revealing his skeleton-like body beneath his cloak. Mist began pouring out of him, as he brings his arms down. The being reels his head down near the girls, who were chilled to the bone.

"Call me Boogieman," said the being, "and you lovely ladies are about to become of good use."
