Three guardians find themselves on a new planet after defeating Atheon, the keeper of time. This planet also happens to be inhabited by strange, sapient, talking ponies. It's up to these guardians: an overconfident, but caring Titan named Blaze, a sharp, battle machine exo warlock, named Adrothe, and a not-so-serious hunter named Joah, to save Equestria from a darkness they know they can't stop on their own. (DestinyXMyLittlePony) Also- first few chapters are old, and not as good quality as the new ones i'm writing, FYI.

Chapter 1: All Ends are a New Beginning

View Online

The Timekeeper screeched as his inevitable destruction took place. The guardians cheered, for they had just defeated Atheon, after raiding the Vault of Glass. Two guardians in particular, one known as Blaze and the other known as Joah, ran past the defeated Atheon to take a look at the time scape from which Atheon entered from. With the intelligent Exo, Adrothe, trailing behind them, they continued to peer down into the seemingly endless illusion below them. Joah, thinking it would be a good idea, tried to reach a lower ledge to get a better look at the time scape below them. He jumped off the glass cliff, his descent toward the lower ledge. As he fell toward the ledge, he slowly descended, but about a meter from contact with the ledge, he ran out of fuel on his thrusters, and slipped after the contact, with only his left arm holding him up.

"HELP!", squealed Joah, as he flailed, trying to prevent his death.

As Adrothe watched, he realized the danger of the unknown forces below them, so he quickly glided down to the the ledge Joah was hanging on, while saying "hold on, I'm coming". He then landed and started to grab Joah's right hand.

'I'll help too!', thought Blaze as he jumped off, accidentally landing right onto onto Adrothe's arm, knocking them all off.

"Crap", said Adrothe as they plummeted into an endless void of bright light.

Chapter 2: A New World

Adrothe awoke to the sound of nature in the middle of a dark forest. "Where. is. this?", he said, his robotic eyes scanning the small clearing surrounding him and his two friends. He immediately noticed his his ghost was not by his side to scan this new environment. "Are you there?", he said, searching for his missing ghost. He found no trace of it, so he moved on to his second task. Waking his fellow guardians. "Get up Joah", he hollered as he violently shook the hunter.

"I'm up, i'm up", called Joah as he smacked Adrothe's hand off of his shoulder.

"Me too.", said Blaze as he lifted one knee and hoisted himself up. "Where are we?"

"Some forest on an unknown planet", reported Adrothe. "Our ghosts appear to have been misplaced after our journey through the Time stream in the Vault of Glass."

"What's THAT", Joah remarked as he pointed to a large stream of black smoke coming from somewhere in the the brush of the towering, dark trees that covered the land around them.

"I say we find out!", Blaze hollered behind him as he took off in the direction of the smoke.

"Woohoo, a new mission!", said Joah before he followed shortly after.

"Looks like I don't really have a choice, do I?", Adrothe said as he ran to catch up with his fireteam.

["Sir, all the test results were positive, our population will surely thrive on this new planet."], hissed an Acolyte in hive tongue.

["Good, send a signal to Crota, stating we have crash landed on a new planet just off of Sector 6, that can be used for the new creation."], said Kranox, as he paced back and forth in his torn apart scout ship.

["Um, s-sir?"], stuttered a second acolyte as he approached his leader.

["What?"], said Kranox, as he stopped pacing and turned all his attention to this new acolyte.

["We appear to have found a new species that inhabits this planet, and they appear to be sentient. We have captured them. There are three in total"], explained the acolyte

["Bring them to me."], demanded Kranox.

"Incoming thrall!", shouted Blaze as he shot down thrall after thrall with his trusty Red Death. They discovered several packs of thrall, with an occasional acolyte as they created their own path through the forest towards the smoke, which was getting fairly close now.

"What do you guys think is causing all that smoke?", commented Joah as he threw a throwing knife into the head of an acolyte standing behind the thrall."

"I think its a hive ship that crashed, and just happened to do so on the same planet we did.", commented Blaze, as he punched down the final thrall.
"That is most likely the case, and if so, we may be able to use their ship to get back home if it is repairable.", said Adrothe as he holstered his Thorn.

"I'm just glad we still have our weapons!", said Joah as he slid his Icebreaker onto his back, and began to start walking again.

Back in the Hive Ship...

A large black cage was wheeled into the command room, containing three small fillies. One of them, with a short, scraggly, purple mane , wings, and an orange mane spoke up,("Let us out, you big ugly monsters!")

("Quiet Scootaloo!, you're gonna make them mad!"), whispered a filly with a yellow coat and a bright red mane.

("Shhhh!"), said the third one, which had a short pink-and-purple mane and a white coat, with a small horn on her forehead.

[ "SILENCE!"], yelled Kranox in his language. Even through the language gap, the three ponies understood he was angry. ["They are no threat to us, take them outside and kill them."], said Kranox grimly, as the acolytes slightly flinched, but did as they were told. The fillies watched this exchange, and put two and two together, realizing that they probably weren't going to be released and see their families again, they started to whine and cry for what seemed like the end. Until a certain fireteam broke down the door between them and Kranox. The acolytes transporting the fillies immediately let go of the cage and pulled out their weapons and began to fire as their commander screeched in frustration and began firing his Shredder.

"Joah, you take left and pick off the enemies, me and Blaze will go for the boss.

"Got it.", said The Hunter and Titan in unison. Blaze ran past Adrothe, and created a ward of dawn to protect him and his ally. Adrothe threw solar grenades and shot Kranox with his Thorn, while Blaze stopped to observe his surroundings. He noticed three multicolored creatures that appeared to be crying, and realized the hive had taken them prisoner. He then heard Adrothe yell, "Blaze! Get it together!", which snapped his attention back to the matter at hand, and he helped his teammates finish off the hive Knight's life.

"Hey guys, check these out.", said Blaze as he walked over to the cage he noticed earlier.

"What are they?", said Joah curiously.

"That information is not relevant to our situation, so, could you two get over here and help me?", said Adrothe in an annoyed tone.

"Fine", they both complied. After some tinkering with ship's controls, the three guardians came to the conclusion that the ship wouldn't fly. While they were working, the three fillies just sat and stared in amazement at these peculiar aliens that saved them. The Titan turning over to look at them and making an assortment of random sounds "don't worry, we'll get you little guys out as soon as we're done", caused them to stop staring.

("What do you think they're gonna do to us 'Bloom?"), whispered Scootaloo.

("I don't know, but the one with the cape doesn't seem to favor us."), replied the yellow and red pony, named Apple bloom.

("They seem pretty nice, I think they're gonna let us out."), commented the third one.

("Yeah Sweetie Belle, and I bet they're gonna escort us all the way back to Ponyville, too."), said Scootaloo, with a sarcastic smile on her face.

("Shut up!"), squeaked Sweetie Belle. This got the attention of the three guardians.

("Now you've done it Sweetie Belle"), said Scootaloo. Then, the hooded guardian started walking over the cage, with the Titan not far behind.

"What should we do with them, Oh so amazing Adrothe?", said Joah, with a smirk on his face.

"They look like inhabitants of this world, so I say we get them to lead us out of this forest.", said Blaze, as he stared at the small equines, absorbing all of their features.

"I guess since this ship is no longer capable of flight, we should try to find other means of returning home.", said Adrothe.

"Why do we even hang out with you?", asked Joah as he started trying to fiddle with the Hive's lock mechanism. Adrothe then pulled out his Thorn, and shot the lock, shattering it to pieces.

"That's why.", said Adrothe coldly.

As the door swung open, Blaze said in a gentle voice, "Hey, you can come out now, we won't hurt you." The fillies then decided the guardians were not going to harm them. They sensed this weird feeling, like these aliens had a certain "light" to them. The one with a yellow coat took a step out, said something in their language to the other two, and they followed.

"They appear to be sapient, and have their own language as well.", said Adrothe, now curious what they were and why they were here. The titan then proceeded to lead them out of the hive spaceship. Once they stepped outside, Blaze noticed it was darker than before.

"I think we'll have to set up camp here for now, its getting dark.", said Blaze as he scanned the area with his eyes. He then turned to see the three equines huddled, whispering about something. After they broke the huddle, they all took one final glance at their saviors, and took off, straight into the brush.

"They're our only way out of here, we have to follow them!", said Blaze as he started running after them, his fire team following shortly behind. The trek was long and rigorous, but the fillies eventually slowed down a bit, when they realized the aliens wanted to follow them. Eventually, they came into a dirt trail, that seemed to be perfectly clear, and much easier to follow than pushing through branches and other brush. Soon after they found the path, the group found themselves walking toward a what looked to be a town. The guardians just quietly observed the town these small creatures had led them to. Suddenly, all three guardians found their entire bodies constricted by some sort of purple "haze", that they struggled to escape.

"It's a trap!", said Blaze as he stated the obvious.

"LET. US. GO!", howled Joah as he flailed around in the air.

("Girls, get behind me, there's no telling what these monsters will do to you"), said a lavender unicorn with a dark purple mane that had a single streak of magenta down the middle.

("No!, Twilight wait! They saved us!", said the yellow filly. The guardians then instantly dropped from the floating position they were in, ungracefully landing on the dirt.

("Are you sure? They haven't brainwashed you have they?"), said Twilight as she gave the filly a concerned look.

("No, we saw it too."), said Sweetie Belle.

("Yeah), said Scootaloo, as she stepped up next to her friends.

"I'm going to massacre them...", whispered Adrothe as he picked himself up, one hand gripping his Thorn.

"Wait!", said Blaze. "Look. I think it was a misunderstanding." The other two guardians then looked over, to see the three creatures they saved, and it it looked like they were saying something to the larger creature.

"Not yet, anyway.", said Adrothe, holstering his hand cannon.

"Did you say something, Adro?", questioned Joah.

"No", replied Adrothe.

("So they don't speak Equish? That's certainly interesting."), said the now embarrassed purple unicorn. ("Let me just fix that...") The unicorn then charged up her horn, causing it to glow a faint magenta. Then, with a flash of light, the unicorn cast her spell.

"What was that?", said the confused hunter.

"Why that happened to be my translation spell. Now we can understand each other.", said the unicorn, a proud smirk on her face. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia. And who might you three be?"

Blaze, being the first to recover, said, "I am a Blaze, a human guardian, same as my friends, from the Traveler, this guy is Joah, a Hunter, and he is Adrothe, a robot Warlock."

"Humans? Traveler? Just where are you three from?", asked a confused Twilight.

"Sector 5. More specifically, the last city on Earth.", replied Adrothe.

"Wait a second, are you three from another planet?!?!?", questioned Twilight.

The three guardians all nodded together. "Oooohhm. Can we talk about this later? Killing all those Hive enemies was exhausting!", yawned Joah.

"I second that.", said Blaze.

Adrothe looked around at how dark it had become. "Hmm, I guess my engines could use some time to recalibrate."

"Fine. you three... humans"

"And Exo."

"...and exo, can stay at my house for tonight", said Twilight as she turned to the three fillies. "Go back home, but don't tell anypony about these 'aliens'.", then started walking into the now vacant town. "You three follow me.", she said as she glanced back at the guardians.

It was a short walk to "Twilight's" house, which happened to be a giant tree. 'Talk about a green thumb', thought Blaze as he entered the tree. It was a huge, hollowed out tree, filled with shelves upon shelves of books. 'Talk about a bookworm', thought Joah, as his eyes scanned the house.

Adrothe stared down at some of the books scattered across the floor. "Oh sorry about those, I just wanted to read through them a fifth time.", said Twilight as she bent down to pick up the books. Adrothe noticed one of the books she picked up. It's label said 'Dictionary', and it was at least a foot thick. 'Talk about intelligent beings', thought Adrothe. "There's a guest bedroom to stay in over there, i'll bring some pillows and blankets to you in a second.", said Twilight.

"Ok, thank you Twilight Sparkle.", said Blaze.

"Yep, thanks.", called Joah as he dove onto the bed in their room. "Ooh, softer than the beds back home, sweet." Moments later, Joah fell asleep, not even bothering to take his armor off.

Blaze took the blanket and pillow from Twilight, and followed Adrothe as he entered their room as well. Adrothe crouched in the corner, set his helmet off behind him, and powered off, his green eyes disappearing in the dark room. Blaze slowly took off his armor, and neatly set it aside from the blanket he laid out.

'This could be interesting.'

Chapter 3: Meet the Fireteam

Blaze awoke to the sound of birds chirping a tune from outside the window. He decided it was time to get up, so his body snapped into movement, and he started to pick himself up. He swore he could smell the feint scent of pancakes in their room. He decided since it still appeared to be early, he would let his human friend sleep, and Adrothe set an internal alarm to reboot his systems, so Blaze realized he was by himself. He slowly walked over to the window, and opened it, so it would cool the room down a bit. He saw a few of these creatures milling about the roads, so he stepped away from the window so he wouldn't be seen. He opened the door to his room, and he could already hear someone talking. He noticed it was not in the main room, so he silently snuck over to the door he heard it from in hopes that he could make out the conversation. What? He's curious!

"I'm telling you Twilight, they could be evil monsters, trying to infiltrate our society and eat us all!", said a feminine, but slightly boyish voice.

"Rainbow, I'm absolutely positive that is not the case.", said who he assumed to be Twilight.

"If they start eating ponies..." This is where Blaze decided to intervene. The pony accompanying Twilight had a long rainbow-colored mane, and a cyan coat.

"Sup.", said Blaze in a casual tone. The two ponies just stared back at him in response. "Is there something on my face?", he said, as he started feeling his head.

"Why do you... look so different?", asked Twilight as she waved her hoof in a circular motion toward Blaze's entire body.

"Wha... oh! my armor is off, I just didn't really think i'd need it this early in the morning, so i decided to leave it in my room for now. Is that ok?", said Blaze. Without armor, Blaze just had a tight black suit covering his entire body.

"Yeah thats fine, I just didn't understand at first. So all that stuff covering your body last night was armor? What reason would you need to be so equipped?", said a curious Twilight.

"I'll tell you later. Who's your friend?", asked Blaze as he pointed to the rainbow-maned pegasus. This snapped the pony out of her trance.

"Me? Why i'm Rainbow Dash! The fastest flyer in Equestria, and the coolest one too! So you better not mess with me!", said Rainbow Dash with a tough tone to her voice. "And you must be Blaze.", said the pegasus, a slight glare in her eye. Blaze pretended not to notice it. He could already tell this one didn't trust us. Wait, what is 'this one'?

"Hey Twilight, what race are you creatures?", said Blaze, noticing the glare she was giving Rainbow Dash.

"Ponies", stated Twilight.

"Ponies?"

"Ponies.", finished Twilight, not directing her anger towards Rainbow at anyone in particular. Seconds later, Twilight's mood suddenly perked up, as she realized that there was so much to learn about this new race. So. Much.

"Does your race eat pancakes? Cause Twilight made a TON, and she said I couldn't eat until you aliens woke up.", said an eager Rainbow Dash, as she slightly bit her bottom lip.

"Yeah, me and Joah love them, but I personally like waffles better.", said Blaze. "Lets eat."

"Wait! Don't we need to wait until your friends get up?", asked Twilight as she blocked Rainbow Dash from eating every pancake in sight.

"One of them doesn't eat food, and the other one isn't waking up anytime soon.", said Blaze as he walked over to the pile of pancakes. "May I?"

"*Sigh*, I guess.", said Twilight as removed herself from between Rainbow and one of the plates stacked with pancakes. Blaze loved the taste of these pancakes. The tasted far better than the nasty old Tower food. Besides that, the breakfast was pretty uneventful. Eventually, Adrothe's circuits powered on, and he came in the kitchen to see what was going on.

Afterwards, Blaze, Adrothe, and Twilight went to sit in the living room, while Rainbow left, because she had to patrol the skies today. "So this Traveler is a being made of pure light, the power that guardians posess?", said an amazed Twilight.

"Yes, and different types of Guardians wield that power in different ways.", said Blaze. Blaze then proceeded to tell Twilight all about their universe, Adrothe filling in anything Blaze missed. He told her about the Last City, and how the darkness has cornered the guardians, and about the thousands of guardians fighting day and night to stop it. He told her of the many races of evil. Including the Hive they encountered in the forest.

"You mean the Everfree forest?", asked Twilight.

"Um, if that's what it's called I guess.", replied Blaze. All the while Blaze explained their world, Twilight wrote everything she heard on a small notepad. "These Hive a leader, named Crota, the Hive Prince, son of Oryx. And Crota will soon have the power to destroy the light. The only hope for the universe is that some one, some where, will stop him."

"Really?", questioned Twilight.

"Yep."

Just then, the bedroom door creaked open. Out walked Joah. "Sup"

"Not much, kitchens that way.", said Blaise as he pointed to the door that led to the kitchen.

Joah went to the kitchen, and ate what he could find. After he got back, he sat with his friends and the alien. They had pretty dull conversations about the Traveler and stuff, Which bored him to DEATH. After what seemed like hours, the front door opened. In walked an orange pony with a yellow mane the was held together by a red band. "Hey Twi-" said the pony, cutting off once she realized we were here.

"Applejack! These are my new friends, Blaze, Adrothe, and Joah. They're from another planet.", said Twilight.

"It's nice to meet you, Applejack.", said Blaze.

"Same here.", said Joah, with a relaxed smirk.

"Pleased to meet your acquaintance, newcomer.", said Adrothe. He thought it would probably be in his best interest to be kind to these 'ponies'.

"Well, um, nice to meet ya'll too. I just came to ask you if you knew what my sister was doing last night, she said she was with you.", said a reluctant Applejack.

"Yes *sigh*, I do. Your sister and the other cutie mark crusaders went into the Everfree. They didn't tell me why, but some aliens from our friend's galaxy crashed their ship in the Everfree. Out of pure luck, these three somehow ended up in the forest as well. According to Blaze, he found your sister and her friends captured by these evil aliens, and they saved your sisters from their doom.", said Twilight.

"Well uh, thank ya kindly, it was very nice of ya'll to save mah sister and her friends.", said Applejack, smiling at the three guardians.

"It was nothing.", said Joah, swiping his arm through the air.

"Well um, Applejack?, do you think you could fetch our other friends, so they could meet our new friends. I can't really take them through Ponyville yet.

"Yeah, sure. I'll go get the girls. See ya'll soon!", said Applejack as she opened the door and left.

A couple hours of talking later, the door opened again. This time, instead of just Applejack, in walked three new ponies. They all reacted about the same when they saw the guardians, they gasped and stared, accept for one that just cowered behind her friends in fear. One of the ponies was pink, with a hot pink mane, and looked like she was about to explode with happiness. The other, a unicorn pony, as Twilight described, had a white mane with a curled dark purple mane, that looked like it took a long time to perfect.
The one cowering was hard to observe, but she looked like a butter-colored pony with pink hair.

"Hey girls, these are aliens from another planet. Their names are Blaze, Adrothe, and Joah.", said Twilight as she pointed to each guardian.

"NEW FRIENDS! Yaaaaaaaaaaay", yelled the pink one as she jumped to tackle the nearest one in a hug, which unfortunately happened to be Adrothe.
"GET OFF SPAWN OF ORYX!", he yelled as he tried to pull of the pink mass that had attached to his upper body. The pink mass didn't Release as he flailed around in his chair, leading to the chair falling backwards, causing even more chaos.

"Pinkie!, STOP!", yelled Twilight, now prying the pony off of Adrothe.

"Okaaaaay, fine.", said a now relaxed Pinkie.

"That's Pinkie Pie for ya I guess.", said Applejack, giving Adrothe an apologetic smile, as he picked himself up.

"Aw cheer up Adrothe, they're an entirely different society, that might be a greeting here. Let's just be happy they don't share the same thoughts as the Hive.", said Blaze.

"Whatever.", whispered Adrothe to himself.

"Woah, you know if I did that to Adrothe, he would probably kill me.", said Joah, looking at the pink pony. That created silence throughout the room. The ponies were now visualizing one sapient being killing another in their minds. "What did I say?, It was only a joke."

"Hah. Good one Joah.", said Blaze, trying to save his friend from an awkward situation. "We know you Adrothe wouldn't kill you."

"What?, I meant the 'good one' was a joke, not Adrothe killing me. Ever heard of sarcasm?" Joah said, just digging the hole even deeper. The ponies just stared in horror, all sorts of crazy situations playing through their minds.

Adrothe, saving them like always, said, "You know I would never do that, Joah."

"Um, ha! Got you guys.", said Joah realizing his mistake. 'You guys are so stupid', thought Adrothe.

"Well then", said Twilight, changing the subject. "This is Rarity and that is Fluttershy." Fluttershy was now standing, but still behind Rarity.

"Um, pleased to meet you, um, sirs?", said Rarity trying to recover from earlier and find something to say.

"Guardians is fine.", said Blaze.

"Do you kill things?", asked Fluttershy, way out of her personality. Fluttershy was looking directly at Blaze, her eyes wide, like she knew what he was going to say.

"Um, we don't, I mean we do, but...", stumbled Blaze.

"What he means, is that we don't hurt innocent people, zBut from where we come from, there is evil everywhere, and it is up to us to stop it.", said Adrothe gently.

'Wonder what drugs he's on', thought Joah, surprised at his sudden kindness.

"O-ok, that seems a-alright.", said Fluttershy, thinking of the changelings, and how the had to stop them.

Joah's stomach growled loudly, echoing throughout the room. "When can we eat? Asked Joah.

"Oh!, right, I'll make some lunch.", said Twilight

"I'll help too, darling.", said Rarity as she followed. This left Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and the guardians. After waiting awhile, they finally came back out with sandwiches, and everybody dug in. Accept Adrothe. After some chit-chat, the visiting ponies eventually left, and left Twilight and the guardians like before. Twilight left the room for a minute, and Joah bored so he hit the hay.

"Adrothe, are you okay?", asked Blaze, noticing the weird face he was making.

"I've been to exactly 47 planets, and not once have I been stranded, and have to live with other sapient beings.", This is... Different from what I'm used to.", replied Adrothe, gripping the arms of his chair. I wasn't made for this. I was made to kill."

"Hey, hey it's okay we're going to make it through this together.", said Blaze, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Together.", Adrothe repeated.

Chapter 4: Are You Sure You're Not a Queen?

View Online

Across space, in another galaxy...

"Sir, we have picked up a transmission from Kranox. He crash landed on a large planet that he says is perfect for the new army. Should we send them to claim the planet?", questioned a hallowed acolyte.

"No. I shall see this planet myself before we release our armies to multiply.", replied the mighty Hive Prince. He then stood up from his throne, and left the room to take his ship to this new planet. "I shall leave at once.", said Crota. "Inform the Hive Wizards to follow by my side. We may need their assistance.

Back in Ponyville...

"Princess Celestia and Luna want to meet you guys. I've already told them the little that I know about your world. They are curious to learn more.", said Twilight to the three guardians. "Their carriage should be here in about an hour."

"So Canterlot is where they live?", asked Blaze.

"Yes.", said Twilight.

"Gather your things and be ready in thirty minutes.", said Twilight. "I'll make lunch to eat before we leave."

"Okay, thanks Twilight.", said Blaze as he left to go to their room, the others following. "Guys, when we go meet these 'princesses', we have to behave. If we don't, then the rulers could see us as a problem. Especially you, Joah."

"What, me? I would NEVER.", replied Joah, as he put his hands together to look like an angel.

"Don't screw this up Joah.", said Adrothe coldly.

"I will also make sure to ask about any possible way home they might have.", said Blaze.

"I'm going to reconfigure my systems. See you guys in twenty minutes.", said Adrothe as he walked over to a corner of the room and crouched.

"Uh... me too", said Joah as he jumped onto the bed and laid down. Blaze then decided to just sit down. Sit down and think.

"Okay, get up Joah, its time to go.", said Blaze, as he tugged at his sheets.

"Ugh, finee.", said Joah as he got up. He also grabbed some of the leftover food from the table, because Blaze and Twilight ate while he slept.

"You guys ready to go?", asked Twilight as she lifted a saddlebag onto her back.

"Yep.", replied Blaze, as he picked his helmet, which he just decided to carry instead of wear with the rest of his armor. After a few minutes, a fairly large carriage landed in front of Twilight's tree, carried by six white pegasi.

"They're here!", said Twilight, almost excitedly. Then, the door to Twilight's house swung open. In walked two tall ponies almost as tall as Blaze, with both wings and horns. One was slightly taller than the other, her body white, her mane a rainbow of blue, green, and pink, seemingly flowing in a non-existent wind. The other was a dark blue, with a lighter blue mane, also flowing like the other's.

"Princesses!, Welcome!", said Twilight. She wasn't expecting them to come to Ponyville. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were coming, this place is a mess!", said Twilight as she picked up up everything in sight to shove in the closet.

"It's quiet alright, Twilight.", said The taller princess. Her voice sounded like a mother, and very soothing. Joah then took a bite of the sandwich he found on the table and chewed.

"*Ploo!*, That sandwich tastes terrible! What's in it? Grass?!?!", hollered Joah as he spat out pieces of grass onto the floor. Blaze then punched Joah hard in the shoulder.

"Shut. Up.", he whispered loudly.

"And who are your friends?", interrupted the princess.

"I am Adrothe, as for these two idiots, I think they can introduce themselves.", said Adrothe, looking at the princess intently. She seemed different then the other ponies.

"I. Am Joah.", said the Hunter, rubbing his shoulder. Planning to get back at Blaze later.

"And I am Blaze.", said Blaze, trying to look better then his companions.

"Welcome to Equestria. I am Princess Celestia, co-ruler here with my younger sister, Princess Luna.", said the princess, gesturing to the dark blue pony beside her.

"Who's the queen?", asked Joah.

"What?", asked the princess.

"Well if there are princesses, there must be a queen."

"There is no queen.", said the dark blue princess, now deciding to talk.

"Oh.", said Joah, slightly scared of the other princess.

"So you three are from another planet?", asked Celestia.

"Yes. We are from a series of planets probably very far from here.", said Adrothe.

"Interesting. But how did you get here?"

"Thanks to these two, we ended up in a time vortex.", said Adrothe.

"I'm not the one that jumped on Adrothe's back!", yelled Joah.

"Yeah, and I'm not the one that jumped off a cliff in the first place!", retorted Blaze.

"Both of you shut up. Your arguments are invalid.", said Adrothe, ending the argument.

"Well, it is getting late, so we should start the trip home.", said Celestia.

"I agree.", said Blaze. They then proceeded to load the the carriage. The trip was mostly silence. Once they arrived at their destination, Blaze saw just how enormous their castle was. It was white with splotches of purple and gold in different places. As the carriage landed, Blaze saw lots of art and plants surrounding the landing point, and a pathway leading to the castle. As they walked, their were many small creatures Blaze assumed were not intelligent.

"Oh, and Twilight, Spike is over in the castle, and he can't wait to see you.", said Celestia.

"Oh, great.", said Twilight. She honestly hadn't really thought about him since the guardians arrived.

"Who's Spike?", asked Blaze.

"He's my assistant. I sent him over here to Canterlot for a while, because Princess Celestia needed some extra help.", answered Twilight.

"You ponies have boys?", asked Joah. He assumed they were an all female race.

"Of course we do! I mean Spike's a dragon, but we do have males...", replied Twilight. Celestia giggled at this. No pony ever realized that her society was 90% female.

"Wait. You ponies have dragons too? Sweeeet.", said Joah.

They hadn't noticed, but after walking that whole time, they had already entered the castle. Inside there were guards around every corner, but none of them looked even slightly hostile.

"Wow, this is quite a castle you have, Celestia.", complemented Blaze.

"Blaze! It's PRINCESS Celstia!", warned Twilight.

"It's quite alright, Twilight. I am not his princess. He is not below me in rank, simply because he is not of our ranks. Thank you for your complement, Blaze.", said Celestia.

"You're welcome.", said Blaze, not sure of what just happened.

"I believe it is time for you to rest, Celestia.", said the princess of the night.

"You are correct, my sister. Guard, please show these three to their quarters.", said Celestia.

The guard then turned to the guardians. "Please follow me."

As they followed the guard down a different hallway than the three ponies they were with were in, Joah said to his friends. "It's one of those guy ponies.", as he pointed to the guard.

They eventually stopped, and the guard pointed to a door. "Here is your room. It has three beds and extra blankets in the closet."

"Thank you.", said Blaze as they entered their new room.

Adrothe walked into the corner and crouched. "Good night, idiots."

"I'm going to see if I can find some food. See ya tomorrow.", said Joah, as he crouched, turned invisible, and left out the door they entered.

Now Blaze was alone. He looked around the room more closely, and saw a balcony on the opposite side of the door. He walked over, looking out at the city below him, lighting up the dark night around it. He looked to the sky. The moon they had was beautiful. Far different from the Hive-corrupted moon of Earth. "Wow, that moon is truly beautiful." Blaze swore he could hear a faint voice somewhere outside.

Joah roamed the what seemed like endless maze of hallways, occasionally passing a guard, that couldn't see him because of his invisibility. He kept his eyes open for any sort of kitchen to eat in. Some may be confused as to why he would do something as stupid as this. And to answer you, it is because Joah really cares about his food. And he kind of thought it would be cool to explore a castle. After walking for about half an hour, Joah heard a small noise coming from a red door on his left. He leaned into the door, and sure enough heard a slightly louder version of the buzzing noise. Out of curiosity, he used his knife to break the lock, creaked the door open, and snuck inside. It was a big, empty grey room, with a short pillar in the middle, and a glowing red orb sitting on it. Joah slowly approached the mysterious artifact. Once he got closer, he reached out, and touched the orb with his pointer finger. It was hotter than what seemed like the sun. "Ow!", said Joah as he quickly pulled away his finger. This sudden movement knocked the orb off of it's pedestal, and it fell to the ground, shattering on the stone cold floor. "Oh. Shit." Joah watched as the red mist that was seemingly trapped inside the orb, flew around the room, then leaving out the door. Joah then decided it was up to him to fix whatever he did, so he gave chase. "Come. Back. Stupid. Thing." Joah was no longer invisible, running full sprint down a hallway, jumping and trying to grab the mist. Every time his arm got close, the mist just simply moved out of the way. "Oh, IT'S ON!", shouted as he ran even faster, mere inches from grabbing the cloud, until it suddenly split apart, pieces of it leaving through the walls in all directions.

"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!", yelled a voice from the end of the hall. Joah turned to see a very angry Princess Luna, her face red with anger, staring right at him.

"Um, I saw a red fume fly past my door, so I ran after it.", said Joah dumbly.

"WHAT? We must stop it! It is the spawn of Discord, if it becomes powerful enough, it could destroy us all!", said Luna, no longer angry at Joah. She knew stopping the fume was more important than any argument. "Where did it go?"

"Everywhere"

"Then we must collect all of its pieces, it is trying to escape! Luckily, our castle is enchanted, so that evil may only leave through the front gates." Luna then ran into a room in the hallway, and came back with six blue jars. "These should be enough. The only way to stop the fume is to capture it in these jars. Here, take these and we'll split up. If you come across any guards, tell them you're helping me. Now go!", she said as she handed Joah three jars. She could not afford to let the fumes escape.

"Got it.", said Joah, now determined to fix his screw-up. He ran the opposite way of the princess, searching for the fumes. After he made a turn, he saw a red glowing mass, just hovering. He ran at the mass, one arm extended, a blue jar in it. The fume noticed him, and flew down the hall. Joah then increased his speed, catching up to the fume. Once he got close, he pounced, sweeping his into the front of the mist, retracting his arm, and screwing on the cap. "If I get screwed, you're going down with me. He then put then jar in his pack, and pulled out an empty one. He quickly jogged down the hallways, until he came into what seemed like a dining hall. He then looked at the red that caught his eye. There was a fume up near the chandelier. He quietly switch on the jets on his leg, and got a running start. Once he got near the table, he jumped, and started using his thrusters. Once he flew past the red cloud, he swiped his jar at it, catching it. "I am just too good.", said Joah as he screwed on the cap. He had to admit, this was kind of fun. Continuing through the castle, he pulled out the final jar, but suddenly he was picked up by a red mass, much larger than the previous ones. He found himself unable to move as he was constricted in its grasp. "Well, I had a good run.", he said as the breath was choked out of him. Just then, a beam of blue light shot through the mass, just missing Joah. He fell to the floor, lifelessly.

Luna then yelled, "BEGONE FOUL CREATURE!" As she cast a spell onto the fume, and it was then sucked into the jar, and captured. Then, she collapsed to the floor, checking Joah for injuries. "Joah? Joah?", said Luna worriedly. She saw his body was badly damaged.

For just a second, Joah woke up, "We... Make a pretty good.... Team."

"Stay with me Joah.", she said, as she charged up a yellow spell, and cast it onto Joah's body. He then made some movement, and his body sprang to life, his arms surging with electricity. Luna flinched in surprise. She had only cast a weak healing spell to keep him alive. He stood up.

"Thanks for the boost!", said Joah, now even more energized.

"H-how?!?", stumbled Luna.

"I used my arc blade, which grants me extreme health regeneration, which basically fixed me up to tip-top shape."

"Amazing.", said a fascinated Luna.

"Well, it's getting pretty late. See ya.", said Joah, looking at his imaginary watch. He then turned around and left, his body still surrounded in lightning.

Chapter 5: When Adrothe Attacks

View Online

Crota watched over the small equines living on this planet. He had found that there were also three guardians here, which had slain Kranox in his crashed patrol ship. Although Kranox was correct, this planet was teeming with life, just waiting to be taken by his ogre armies. He would have to take care of these guardians before he left to send the armies over. He also noticed these guardians had grown to like these equines. He had been watching, and found that if the warlock turned on them, the other two guardians would stand no chance. He did, after all, wield Crota's old hand cannon, the Thorn. "Taint that guardian's light, so that he may attack the colored equines.", said Crota to his dark hive wizards, pointing at Adrothe.

Blaze woke up to the silence of his room. He got up, and walked into the bathroom. He turned on the
water, and used it to fix his hair up a bit before putting on his helmet. He then left the bedroom, and found Adrothe was up. His eyes felt darker than usual to Blaze. "Get up, Joah."

"I was up late last night, I don't want to.", said Joah into his pillow.

"Doing what?", asked Blaze.

"Your mom.", replied Joah immaturely.

"Whatever.", said Blaze. Joah then got up.

"That was a good one, you gotta admit.", said Joah, looking for Blaze's approval.

"No, it really wasn't."

"Fine.", said Joah. They then all left the room, and a guard said he was supposed to take them to breakfast with the princesses and Twilight.

"Do either of you find these ponies to be stupid?", asked Adrothe.

"That's not nice.", replied Blaze.

"But their morals about kindness and friends, which in the end, is pointless."

"But they are important, otherwise we would never have met each other."

"Why did we need to meet though? Just so we could raid another sapient life-forms vault, and kill him and everything in it. In the end, the true morals should be to kill and plunder." Adrothe's darkness grew in his mind. This was the same risk that every warlock faced. The battle between light and dark. Sanity or psychotic. After Crota strengthened Adrothe's darkness, it wasn't a fair fight in Adrothe's head. "These ponies are fools. They deserve to die."

"What are you saying, Adrothe?", asked Blaze worriedly. Joah was just listening to this conversation, not really paying any mind to it, for he was still half asleep.

"I'm saying...", he pulled his Thorn out of it's holster, and ran toward the dining hall. He kicked open the door and looked at Twilight and the princesses with psychotic eyes. "YOU MUST DIE!" Blaze ran toward him, praying he wouldn't harm any of these ponies. Joah followed, but he was only walking.

"ADROTHE! Stop this now!", yelled Blaze as he stepped between Adrothe and the three ponies.

"If you wish to protect them, then you shall accompany them in Oblivion!"

"Adrothe, there is no reason for this, just stop.", said Blaze.

"What is the meaning of this!?!, yelled Celestia, looking over to Joah, who was watching from the side, as Adrothe and Blaze stared each other down.

"I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain.", said Joah.

"You don't have to do this.", said Blaze.

"And you do not have to stop me either.", replied Adrothe.

"Adrothe-", Blaze was interrupted.

"Stop. There is no longer need for words. This is a battle to the death. Between you, and me.", said Adrothe darkly.

"Very well then.", Blaze said, as he withdrew his Red Death from his back. He knew he had no other choice. Something was wrong with Adrothe, but Blaze knew he wasn't smart enough to know how to fix it. The princesses and Twilight just watched this, not quite sure what was happening.

Adrothe jumped high into the air. The dining hall consisted of a large rectangular table in the middle, and a chandelier on the ceiling, which was very high up. Blaze saw this and jumped into the air as well, except instead of up, he went over toward Adrothe. He shot a few shots around Adrothe, only a few hitting his shield. Adrothe then aimed down his sight, and shot a single thorn into Blaze's arm, the poison stinging harshly. Blaze fell to the ground in pain. Adrothe descended, and landed on top of the table. He then started walking on it toward the ponies. 'Get up. They need you.', said Blaze to himself. He used his other arm to pull the thorn out of his arm. He got up, and saw Adrothe creating flame grenades in his hands, about to throw it at the ponies. Blaze then ran beside the table, and slid next to the ponies, creating a Ward of Dawn around them, protecting them from the grenades that harmlessly bounced off of his bubble. He reached for his gun inside the bubble, and realized he dropped it when he fell. He knew there was only one way to stop Adrothe. Out melee a Sunsinger. Considering he gets a shield after his first melee, and Blaze only gets a shield after the enemy is dead, Blaze thought it to be impossible. His only hope was to make a shield for himself in his Ward of Dawn. If only he had his old ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets right now. He then charged forward, dodging any shots Adrothe made from on the table. Blaze then jumped, and punched Adrothe in the face. And then again. And again. Adrothe stood and just let Blaze hit him. Adrothe then fell to the ground, void slowly eating the edges of his corpse. The ponies and Joah just stared in shock.

"It was by my hand that you were slain, but it was your actions that caused it.", Blaze said, as he kneeled over the corpse of his dead friend. A small tear shed in his helmet. Although Adrothe was a jerk sometimes, he was still Blaze's friend. Joah was now wide awake, and was sad that his friend had to die.

"Lord Crota, the Guardian we tainted has been killed, even though the other two did not die, he was still their most valuable member.", said a hive wizard.

"That is fine. Release the curse from his soul. The remaining two will stand no chance against my army.", said Crota, as their ship flew back to the moon. He arrived and sat upon his throne until he told an acolyte to start sending over the ogres. A short while later, a different ran into the room, and kneeled before his prince.

"Six guardians have broken into your palace!"

Everybody and everypony were standing around Adrothe's body. They all stood in grief, until the sound of a small fire burning came from Adrothe's corpse. Then, a large flame erupted from his body. He was self-resurrecting! Adrothe's body lifted into the air, springing to life. Blaze readied his weapon, prepared to fight. Then, Adrothe stood, and said, "I am no longer plagued with the Darkness in my heart. Will you ponies forgive me?"

The princesses looked at each other confusedly, and then Luna decided to say, "Yes. We forgive thy."

"Thank you.", said Adrothe. "I am led to believe that a dark force altered my thoughts."

Blaze looked at Adrothe, "I missed you.", as he held out his hand. Adrothe shook it.

Just then, a door opened, and in walked waiter ponies, who started serving food at each seat. "Now that this has been resolved, shall we eat?", asked Celestia. The guardians took off their helmets, and dug in.

"So why do you all have different weapons?", asked Celestia as she ate her salad.

"Well, each weapon serves a different purpose, for example, Joah's Icebreaker is used to shoot enemies from a long range. Me and Adrothe's weapons are mid-range, high damage weapons. I would have retrieved the Thorn before Adrothe, and he would have some other weapon, if it wasn't for Joah. I was tasked to kill an arch wizard of the hive, but my friend here killed the boss before the wizard appeared, and scared the wizard away, Xyor. But I'm fine with it, because soon after, I found this pulse rifle known as the Red Death."
"Hey, you didn't tell me I wasn't supposed to kill the boss, anyway.", said Joah.

"Interesting.", said Celestia, noticing how intimidating Blaze's weapon looked. She thought about the horrible things these aliens must have had to go through in their universe.

"So, do you guardians know of any ways to get home?", asked Celestia.

"Nope. Not a single possibility.", said Joah.

"Wait. What about the crashed Hive ship?", said Blaze.

"We know, we already checked it, and it doesn't work."

"No, doofus, what if another one comes by, looking for the ship that lost transmission?", asked Blaze.

"You know, you're actually onto something Blaze.", said Adrothe.

"So you three must wait for somebody to find you?", asked Luna.

"Basically, yeah.", said Blaze.

"So I heard the Crusaders were captured by aliens, and you guardians saved them?", asked Celestia.

"Who are the crusaders?", asked Joah.

"Those three fillies you found in the forest.", said Twilight.

"Yeah, we kinda did save them...", said Joah, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Thank you, it was very nice that you saved them, even without reason but that they were innocent.", thanked Celestia.

"Well, we must go. I have my daily duties, and Luna must rest. Until next time, Guardians.", said Celestia as she turned to leave.

"Wait!" Celestia turned at this. "Can we go out in public?", asked Joah.

"Oh, uh yeah. I'll make an announcement to my little ponies that they might see you three.", she said, leaving the room, Luna leaving soon after.

"Well, what do we do now?", said Joah.

"Now you guys can go outside, so I guess I could take you guys to Canterlot.", said Twilight.

"Sounds like a plan.", replied Blaze. Then, they turned to leave. The walk through the castle was uneventful. Once they left the castle, they found lots of scared or curious stares coming their way. Many of the ponies seemed a little snobby to Blaze. Like they were 'too good' to talk to aliens. Blaze really didn't like this place, and hoped Ponyville would treat them nicer.

"So... Anything you guys want to do?", asked Twilight.

"I say we get some food.", said Joah rubbing his belly.

"But we just ate!"

"I need an after-meal meal.", said Joah.

"We could go for ice cream.", said Blaze, pointing at an ice cream sign.

"I guess that's a reasonable medium.", said Joah.

"Then it's settled: we're going to get ice cream.", stated Twilight.

"I wish my sensor modules could tastes ice cream.", said Adrothe.

"You're weird.", said Joah.

"Hey Twilight! Wait up!", yelled a boyish voice.

"Huh?", said Twilight, turning to see who that was. She looked to see a stubby purple creature with green scales and a tail.

"Spike!", "Come meet the Guardians!", called Twilight.

"Woah, are you guys the aliens?", asked the lizard in amazement.

"No, you just missed em' maybe next time they visit you'll be here.", said Adrothe.

"Aww, again? I always miss the cool stuff.", said a gullible lizard.

"He's just kidding Spike, these are the aliens I told you about.", said Twilight, slightly glaring at Adrothe.

"Oh really?, Cool! Do you guys have blasters? Or zappers? Or anything that shoots lasers?", bombarded Spike."

"If you are referring to our weapons, no, they do not particularly fire laser projectiles.", said Adrothe.

"Is this the only one that talks?", asked an annoyed Spike.

"What kind of lizard ARE you?", asked Joah.

"I'm not a lizard, I'm a DRAGON.", replied Spike.

"That is totally chill, little dude.", said Joah.

"Nice to meet you, Spike.", said Blaze, extending his right hand. Spike took his hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you too, um..."

"Blaze"

"Nice to meet you, Blaze.", said Spike.

"Well, this has been a pleasure, but I was really looking forward to that ice cream.", said Joah impatiently.

"Ooh, lets get some!", said Spike."

"Sure.", complied Twilight. It was now getting a little darker outside. They then they all proceeded to go get some ice cream.

Back in the Castle...

"But Tia, they carry weapons, and almost used them on us!", argued Luna.

"It could not have been their true intentions. I could tell.", replied Celestia.

"The whole, 'dark force controlled my thoughts', thing? You bought that? I have seen the powerful magic they possess, sister, and it is very powerful, possibly even more so than ours."

"What magic do you speak of? The resurrection?", asked Celestia.

"No. Last night I caught the 'Hunter' releasing Discord's cloud. And, we then caught the mass, but it had already caused fatal wounds to Joah, and I kept him alive with magic, but then he used some mysterious force to call upon electricity, and heal himself entirely.", explained the Princess of the night.

"Hmm. I am eager to see what happens next for these three...", said Celestia to herself.

Chapter 6: Settling In

Celestia scoured through the piles of papers on her desk, searching for any sort of information on these "humans". It was late, and Luna and her guards believed she was asleep. She knew her rest was important, but she was just so curious about these new creatures. She felt like her young student, Twilight Sparkle, doing all of this research and studying, but it didn't help anything. "*Sigh*, I guess we'll just have to do studying in person, they really aren't from this world." She said, as she wiped a small bead of sweat off of her tired face.

Blaze awoke to hear Adrothe tinkering with some sort of electronic that sent small sparks flying, and seemed like a possible fire hazard. "What's that, Adrothe?" Asked Blaze, curious where he could have gotten something like that.
"I found it in the hive ship. It has no use that could get us home, but I've scoured all of my databases on hive components, an I couldn't locate any files on a piece like this. It seems to be some sort of empty 'container' of a sort, that has a small drop of an unknown liquid inside. I'm attempting to unlock it." Replied Adrothe, his metallic eyes still not leaving the small object he was toying with.
"Alright then. Well I'm going to go meet with the ponies to eat. Tell Joah where I went when he gets up. He's gonna be hungry."

"So you two are alicorns, and you are a unicorn because you don't have wings?" Asked Blaze, pointing at the two princess sisters, and then at Twilight.
"Yes, we have three main types of ponies. The Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth ponies." Said Twilight, in a teacher-like voice.
"Oh, so just like how we have Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters."
Celestia then questioned, "Yes. I was meaning to ask, but what is the difference between you three? I know you dress a little different, but.."
"Oh! That's easy. I, am a Titan. I have much more raw physical power than the others in my fire team. I can cause earthquakes that surge electricity all around me, construct powerful void shields to protect my allies, and a newer ability I learned shortly before I got here was the ability to forge powerful flame hammers made of pure fire. The amount of times I can use then consecutively is limited, but they are powerful tools I wield to defeat the darkness."
"So the void shield you mentioned, is that what you used yesterday to protect from your friend?" Interrupted Luna, curious of the power they wield.
"Yes. Adrothe can as you saw before, use his powers to bring himself back from the grave, and surge his body with light. Or, he can chain powerful arcs of lightning, and summon a supernova of void energy. He is a more tactical and ranged class. Joah, is less on the offensive, but is a stealth fighter, who can alter his body to make him almost impossible to locate. He has the power to enable extreme muscle growth, and allows him more stamina, speed, and regenerate his life force faster. He can also create a powerful void bow, that absorbs all of the energy around it, weakening targets greatly, or, he can create a pistol that fires solar bullets that evaporate enemies." Said Blaise, catching his breath.
"Hm, very interesting. Your species sounds like they are suited for violence, are you not?" Asked Celestia, taking in all of their strange and powerful abilities.
"Uhh, yeah, I guess we are. We are born to fight, to save our solar system from destruction." Said Blaze. "But we mean no harm, we just simply must get home."
"Alright, that's reasonable." Replied Celestia. "Well our meeting has been completed here, so you and your friends may depart back to Ponyville with Twilight whenever you're ready."
"Okay, thank you Princess." Said Blaze, giving her a wave farewell. She waved her 'hoof' back.

"But I don't want to go. The food here is amazing." Said Joah, pleading to stay.
"We have to go, Joah."
"Yes, I believe that is the best decision for our current situation."
"Fineee. But I want to shoot stuff when we get there, my trigger finger's getting itchy." Replied Joah, missing the thrill of killing the hive.
"And what exactly, will you be shooting?" Asked Twilight as she walked into their room, using her magical horn to open the door and shut it behind her.
"Don't worry I'll find something for him, like a can or something." Reassured Blaze.
"Alright. Then if you guardians are ready, we can head back to Ponyville."

When the guardians and their equine friend arrived in Ponyville, the sun was a little past halfway across the sky.
"Hey, my friends invited us to go meet them at Sugar Cube Corner to hang out, if you guys are up for it." Said Twilight, holding back a slight smirk.
"Hm.. 'Sugar Cube Corner'. Let me think about whether I'd like to go to a place with a name so girly it makes me cringe.. No. I think I'll pass, Twi-girl." Said Joah, ignoring the low key glare she was giving him.
"I think I'll have to agree, it does sound unpleasant in multiple ways." Chimed Adrothe, preferring to experiment on the small "beaker" he found on the hive ship.
"But guys, it's a way to learn more about these "ponies", even if their ways are a little different than what we're used to." Said Blaze, trying to avoid pissing off Twilight, and he honestly was slightly curious to learn more about these small equines. "But I guess you guys just aren't as manly as me, cause I'll be showing up to this girly get together and show them what a real man looks like. That's fine if you guys don't want to go."
"I can't tell if you're saying that honestly or if you're just trying to coax us into going, but either way, I guess I'm in. Maybe they'll have some alcohol." Said Joah, murmuring that last part to himself.
"Well, I'm outnumbered, so I guess I can sit through whatever this is for a few hours." Complied Adrothe.
"Alright, then it's settled. Sugar Cube Corner is this way." Said Twilight, happy with their decision. She knew that they were strong, and if they could become good enough friends, she wouldn't have to worry about them harming any pony.

"SURPRISE!", yelled the ponies in unison, as the lights flickered on revealing a room full of at least fifty of these "ponies", all looking excited to see the guardians.
"Woah, what are you guys doing? " Asked Joah, confused at why all these ponies were gathered together yelling surprise. "If this is what you ponies do at 'Sugar Cube Corner' then i'm not sure I want to be a part of it." As the guardians looked, they recognized a few of the ponies that they met the other day at Twilight's house.
"Noo silly! It's a party, for you!", said Pinkie Pie, putting on her friendliest expression. "When I saw that you aliens I could just tell you liked to party, so I threw you one!!!" Pinkie was bouncing off the walls with excitement, the guardians still confused and slowly killing off the mood of a party. Twilight then walked up and nudged the back of Blaze's leg, expecting him to say something.
"Oh uh.. this 'party' looks awesome! I love the green balloons Kinky!" Said Blaze, trying to sound thoughtful.
"It's Pinkieee!" Said Pinkie, literally upside down hanging from the ceiling. "But let's skip the chat, and partyyyyyy!!" And she swung across to the back of the room, where a DJ booth was set up, and yelled, "HIT IT DJ PON3!" As a mare with a white coat and spiky blue hair that alternated colors between a vibrant blue and a lighter baby-blueish color started blaring loud party music from huge black speakers beside the booth.
"These sound waves are too much for my sensory components to handle alone, I have to put my helmet on.", said Adrothe, now adjusting his helmet onto his oddly shaped head.
"What!?", said Joah, unable to hear him over the loud music. Blaze knew it was pointless to attempt to communicate through all the noise, and although he was a stranger to parties, he definitely wasn't to dancing. So, with nothing else to do, he began wildly dancing around the crowd of ponies, noticing how they were still somehow able to talk to each other over the noise. He was terrible at moving his body, but, he always enjoyed it nonetheless. Sometimes, when he wasn't gearing up for any missions, he would even dance around with other guardians in the Tower back home. He also took some time to notice how the ponies 'danced'. Most of their moves were all pretty similar, considering all four of their limbs had to be balanced on the ground, for the most part. Many of them did a certain odd dance where they lifted one of their front feet, and the opposite side's back foot out to the sides, and then switched continuously. It was weird to watch, but Blaze guessed that his amazing moves probably seemed sort of weird to the ponies, too. He danced through the crowd, until he noticed a table to his right, piled with a variety of desserts. Blaze loved his desserts. They used to say, that sugar is more addictive than cocaine. Blaise and his friends were used to the food back home, from the Tower, which wasn't very pleasant. The only food Blaze every really enjoyed were things laced with sugar. Even his pancakes he always tried to put whipped cream on top. When he saw this table, he immediately started charging towards it, hopping over ponies, and occasionally using his thrusters on his boots to keep his speed. Once he got several feet from the table, his body came to a screeching halt, and he proceeded to calmly take the last to steps towards what looked like heaven. he reached out to pick up a cookie, picking it up and bringing it up to his mouth. He took his first bite, his mind exploding from the perfection in his hands. Cookies were always great, but never had he tasted one as perfectly made as this one. His body then sped up, as he started continuously feeding all kinds of sweets into his mouth. Out of seemingly nowhere, Pinkie Pie popped up, and watched him
"Wowie! You really seem to like my baking!" Said the hot pink party pony.
"Mm, Yem. It's realmy goom." Mumbled Blaze, stuffing his face to full capacity. "Do yom thimk I Could mm get a togo bag?" Asked Blaze, pausing to ask his important question clearly.
"Really? Sure! I'll pack you one later for sure!" Replied Pinkie Pie, complimented by the human's love for her food. A few minutes of eating later, Blaze eventually passed out.

Fluttershy awoke to the sounds of a loud crashing noise, followed by her animals trampling her house, knocking things over left and right. This made the butter colored pegasus jump out of her bed, and fly down her stairs to see what was wrong. She attempted to calm all of the animals living inside her nature house down, but to no avail, for they continued to act wild. She then remembered hearing a crashing sound, so she opened her door and looked around outside. Sure enough, in the middle of a small prairie beside her cottage, was some sort of dark object, with smoke rising from its top. She searched it with her eyes, to find strange creatures exiting the small capsule that was about the size of a telephone booth. The were tall, and reminded her of the humans she had met the other day at Twilight's. But these were much, much more scary.

~~On the hive mothership, headed for Equestria~~

["Sir, our first scout ships have landed, and our ogres have almost finished forming. Our full arrival time is estimated to be in about three days."], reported an acolyte.
["Good, good."] said the tall exalted hive knight. ["I, Urzok the Hated, swore to Crota that even if he failed to protect our home, I would conquer this planet, and grow our armies of immense power. There is nothing that will stop me from completing my duty!"] His voice echoed through the room in his large hive ship.
["Also, s-sir, there have been rumors that guardians are on this planet. One of the scout ships reported sightings of a human here. It indeed is very possible, because we failed to receive any more messages from the crashed ship since they sent the first transmission, and several guardians were said to have gotten lost in the Vault of Glasses portals, so who knows. But they should prove no match to us, even if they are a bit viscous, sire."] The commander thought about this for a few brief seconds, and contemplated the possible outcomes.
["Very well. I guess the guardian scum must always be involved with our plans in one way or another, whether we like it or not. But, I will not have them ruining our plans. We have come too far to stop now. We will invade this planet, and I will have their heads put on sticks!"]

"Blaze! Adrothe! Joah! Get up, Fluttershy needs us!!", said a panicked Twilight. "Some Pegasi heard her getting dragged into the Forest by some sort of monsters!" Blaze loudly burped, filling the room with the scent of sugar.
"Twilight, i'm sorry, but I honestly can't move. I had too many sweets..." Blaze dozed off halfway through his sentence. Then, Adrothe's systems started to boot up.
"Last night's level equivalence of fun was next to 0%. And Joah, get your fat butt up. If my electronics ears were not damaged by the sounds last night, I believe the ponies are in need of help." Recited Adrothe, loading his Thorn with ammunition.
"Fineee", said Joah, lifting his body off the bed and slipping his armor on.
"Thank you two, but we have to hurry! Fluttershy's in trouble!" As soon as Joah equipped his last piece of armor, they ran out the door, and into the woods they found themselves in their first day here.

The "Everfree Forest" was dark and besides brush and trees, empty. After searching for a few minutes, Adothe noticed a small cloud of smoke coming from the forest to their left.
"What's that!", called Joah, pointing at three dark figures, running through the forest. One seemed significantly larger than the others, and carrying some abnormal shape over its shoulder. The guardians and Twilight gave chase, as the the figures noticed them approaching, and ran even faster.
"They're speeding up, in order for us to actually catch up to these hive who have unlimited energy, we're going to need to accelerate our speed dramatically." Said Adrothe, focusing on his target. "If I get close enough, I might be able to use my target enhancer to lock my arm and fire my thorn at them while I'm running, but I'd need a clear path without all of this brush."
"I can do that! Here, get on this walkway!" Grunted Twilight, as she stopped running, and her horn started to glow purple like her coat. Seconds later, a clear path became visible just above the trees. Adrothe used his boost to hop up onto it, and sped up as soon as he had a flat surface to run on. Joah then got too tired, and stopped running on the ground. He pulled the Icebreaker off of his back, and tried to focus his aim on one of the aliens that was running, because he wanted to at least attempt to be useful. He wasn't a speed demon robot like Adrothe. If he pulled off this shot, he'd have the all-time record back at the Tower for distance. It was what, 2,000 yards? He lined up the minuscule crosshair as best he could on one of the smaller runners. He didn't want to shoot the pony, after all.

["We'll use this one to show to the boss, to prove to him this planet is no threat. We just need to get rid of these guardians, before there isn't anything left of us to show this little beast to Urzok." Said the largest shadowed figure.
["Yea-"] The smaller hive that attempted to agree was shot down, and its body was now far behind them.

"Yes!", yelled Joah in succession. "Got 'em." Joah then turned around to walk back towards Twilight. It was all up to Adrothe now. And if he failed, well, they'd just blame it on Blaze for not being there. Adrothe ran furiously, knowing his comrade's shot was pretty good, and would help him focus on one target at a time. As he approached the area above the hive, he could see one was a knight, who seemed to be hallowed, and a thrall following. They appeared to be heading towards another scouting ship, for that's what he assumed they were doing here. Maybe their ship crashed too hard and they need to use a different one to get back to their main ship? Wait. Main ship? If there are small pods as small as these, that means there must be some sort of mothership nearby on its way. If so, why? The ship they raided when they first arrived wasn't that big, so it wouldn't be worth coming back for alone. That serum he found, seemed to be some sort of new substance created by the hive. He finally cracked it open last night, while he waited for his friends at the party. There was only a small portion of the liquid inside, and it was black and gooey. After he touched it, he realized it was a living organism of a sort. Trying to neutralize it, he tore it apart into two pieces, but when he put them down they dragged back together. The monstrosity had to be invincible! If the Hive had more of this, and had the ability to control it, they would become unstoppable! Adrothe now knew what was going on. He had to warn the others, but first, he had to stop these scouts before Twilight's magic gave out. With his left arm, he withdrew his slick, black, hive pistol, that glowing green coming from its inner depths. The Thorn. He extended his arm, steady as possible, and aimed at the smaller enemy, that wasn't too far away. He was now close enough to make out where the yellow pony was on the knight's shoulder. He fired. The thrall dropped, and the knight had a worried look on his face, if he could ever have one. He pulled out his cannon, with his hand not holding Fluttershy, and fired several shots at Adrothe. He dodged them well, only slipping up a little on the last shot, it barely missing his head. Adrothe then retaliated, firing several precise shots, all landing on the Knight's legs. His collapsed to the ground, and Adrothe hopped off of the magical path Twilight mad for him. The knight was still alive, but not by much. Adrothe lifted the small equine off of the ground, and patted her gently to comfort her.
["Hello? Can you understand me?"] Asked Adrothe, using his databases to translate his words into Hive. ["Tell me, what are you undead beasts planning to do?"]
["That's none of your concern."] Replied the knight. ["No one can stop our leader Urzok now! Even if Crota falls!"]
["That's all I needed."] Said Adrothe, as he shot a thorn directly into the fallen knight's head. "Don't worry, you're 97.4% safe now. It's over. I blew the bad guys brains out, so there's no possible way for him to think about hurting you." Sympathized Adrothe, trying to comfort the creature in his arms for whatever reason. "Let's go find Twilight."

About half an hour later, the three, plus Fluttershy now, returned back to the town. "Fluttershy! Twilight! It's great to see you two safe!" Said Rainbowdash, flying up to hug her friends.
"Yeah, we were worried about ya." Commented Applejack.
"Don't worry, after saving her, I did check her body for any injuries or infections, and she's perfectly fine and healthy. She's just a little tired." Said Adrothe, as he passed the sleeping pony over to her friends to carry. Although he couldn't understand what it was, he felt some sort of strange feeling when helping these ponies. It actually felt sort of "good".
"Uhh, are ya there, pardner?", questioned Applejack.
"Huh? Yes? My apologies, I was just caculating some algorithms in my head. Didn't mean to space out" Replied Adrothe.
"That's mighty fine, because we were just thankin' y'all for saving our friends and family twice now." Said Applejack.
"Oh yeah, it was uh.. no problem at all. We're just here to help. But could you remind me of your name again? I'm sorry but honestly all of your names sort of sound similar to me." Asked John, looking at the orange pony carrying Fluttershy.
"It's Applejack.", replied the pony, slightly disappointed he didn't remember her name. I guess that meant she just needed to spend more time with these humans. They all did, really. She was surprised they even helped the ponies so much, considering they haven't even interacted with them very much, besides the party last night, but they didn't seem to really want to talk there much either. She knew she should repay them for
everything the guardians have done for them. "Hey, by the way, y'all are invited over for dinner tomorrow at our ranch. We don't have a lot to offer, but we do have apple pie and friendly folks." Offered Applejack, a small spec of sweat on the side of her forehead as she asked, not sure if they'd want to come.
"Apple pie? Heck yeah!" Replied Joah, not caring what Adrothe thought, but he did assume Blaze would probably want to go, after he recovered from his previous encounter with the heavenly food here.
"Dangit, Joah.. I really question why I allow you to live sometimes.." Whispered Adrothe under his artificial breathe made to make him look more realistic. 'I need to tell them about the ships coming at some point, but how could we possibly defend from that, there's just simply not enough fire power on this planet. we're definitely very screwed here. Oh well. I guess we can amuse these ponies for a few days, cause they'll be their last ones.'
"Alright cool! It's settle then. Tomorrow night, we'll all head over to AJ's for some dinner!" Said Twilight enthusiastically, happy that they were all bonding. Ish. She was sure it will all work out and everyone will become great friends. Sure, they might have their differences, but it will work. she'll make sure of it.
