Flutternight
It's getting dark. Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle planned to have a sleepover at Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy, before going to bed, is cleaning up the cottage. The CMC heard a loud thud inside it. As curious as they are, they decided to check it out. They peeked through the window. Fluttershy caught them.
"Oh my, would you three like to come inside? It's very dark out!" Fluttershy asked.
The CMC nodded. Fluttershy welcomed them to her cottage. Like they thought, there were critters everywhere! But of course, they wouldn't mind.
Fluttershy, in a very comforting way, treated them to some cookies and milk. Delightful! She tucked them to bed soon after. She sang them a lullaby.
"Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed..."
Their eyelids starts to drop as the beautiful sound of the mare's voice fills their ears. What a wonderful way to rest.
They fell asleep. They're in a dream. Dreaming the same dream. They are in the same place, situation, and atmosphere. It's as if they are experiencing something real. They're in a place that looks somewhat similar to the Everfree Forest, but more dark and mysterious. Things are floating, the sky can turn into any color, there are a lot of creatures hiding, and visible. Some has glowing eyes, and others look very strange and uncanny. A lot of shrieks and laughs are coming from nowhere, and trees grew vines that has the mind of their own. Lights flashing in purple and green mysteriously. And the ground seperates randomly.
The CMC continued to explore this dark dream world. Yes, they are scared. There are chills on their spine and their hooves starts to turn into jelly. There is a mysterious figure that seems to follow them around. Who, or what it could be, the CMC needs to be careful.
Sweetie Belle saw a bright shining item in plain sight. She ran with curiousity to it to see what it is. Applebloom and Scootaloo followed her. It is a big, bright diamond. Sweetie Belle ran into it without caution. Applebloom and Scootaloo didn't see a diamond; they saw a big orb of iron.
"Sweetie Belle, no!" "Don't touch that! It could hurt you!" They yelled.
Sweetie Belle didn't listen. She strokes it with her small, light grey hoof. She got electrocuted. Little did they know, someone, or something is messing with their minds.
Sweetie Belle is down. Applebloom and Scootaloo stares in sadness.
"Sweetie Belle..." Applebloom said with a worried tone.
"We should go... away from here. This place isn't safe!" Scootaloo suggested.
"But what about Sweetie Belle?" Applebloom cries.
"She's gone now, there's nothing else we can do! We need to get out of here before something much more terrifying happens to us!" Scootaloo said with a loud, serious tone.
"...okay. Ah guess yer' right. We should go." Applebloom agrees. They both went off, leaving Sweetie Belle's corpse behind.
They trot far into a stranger place. There were many shades green and purple mist. They reached a foggy part of the forest, with many pools and lakes. They found a waterfall. It sparkles and appears to be very eye catching. Scootaloo trots over to the waterfall to rest a little. Applebloom isn't sure with the place. She thinks it looks... deadly.
"Are ya sure you'd wanna stop here? This place seems awful." She says.
"This place looks pretty to me! Look at all the gleaming waters! And the trees look so shiny! This is a great place to stop!" Scootaloo claimed.
"Uh, ah don't know about that, Scoot." Applebloom disagrees. "Ugh, fine. Whatever you say, AB. We'll just chill here and go see more places later, okay?" Scootaloo replies.
Scootaloo sits down in front of the waterfall, finding comfort. Applebloom wasn't sure of anything surrounding it. She feels insecure. Her hooves are shaking and her sweat is dropping.
"Can we go now?" She asked.
"Why would you leave so soon? This place is awesome!" Scootaloo replies.
She looks at the water finding her reflection. "Hey, AB, look! I can see my reflection trough this lake! Applebloom?" Applebloom was nowhere in sight.
"Applebloom! Applebloom!" She yelled. Applebloom was gone.
She looked back at her reflection. It's talking back. "You don't need her, Scootaloo. Why don't you stay here instead? Don't you think this place looks pretty?" It chuckled.
"It... it does..." Scootaloo replies unsurely.
"Come on, Scootaloo. You'd be safe here." It grins.
"I... i don't know about that..." she cries.
"Scoot! Scootaloo!" She heard from the distance.
"Applebloom?" She said, surprised.
"Get outta here! It ain't safe!" Applebloom yelled.
Scootaloo ran as fast as she can. The water from the lake formed a gigantic water monster has the form of Scootaloo. It can separate to many other forms. Scootaloo tried to run faster than it can. But unfortunatly, Scootaloo tripped on a small rock and the water monster is able to grab her by her torso. The water monster tries to drown Scootaloo. As she was trying to call for help, she swallowed some water and choked on them, which led her to drown. Applebloom watched in sadness and anger. "Scootaloo!" She cries, glaring at Scootaloo's dead face.
A tear fell. The water monster slams Scootaloo into the ground, and let go of her body. It returns to the lake, leaving Scootaloo's body behind. Dead.
Applebloom runs away, scared. "Get me out of here!" She yelled while sobbing.
She felt... alone. There is no one there with her. She is completly alone.
"Please! Help! I'm lost!" She's hopeless.
She ran away further out the forest. She then found a big cave; perfect for shelter. Of course, it is very dark. She couldn't see a thing. She can only hear water drops and sounds of unknown critters.
She trots deeper into the cave and felt a presence near her. Shivering, she trots away blindly.
Feeling insecure and cowardly, she hopes to find a source of light.
Getting much deeper into the cave, she felt another presence. This time, very pony-like. A sweat drops as she nervously tries to stroke the figure. It is very large. The small filly's forehoof gently strokes the figure's soft coat.
The ground shakes as the figure trots away. The cave starts to rumble. Applebloom runs to find safety. She hid in a small shelter inside the cave.
Boulders started to drop and other rocks started shaking and dropping. She knows it wasn't the figure who caused it, but hey. It's a dream.
And there it is. A source of light. She can now see clearly.
She now knows who the mysterious figure is, with her soft bright yellow coat and her silky soft pink mane. It's Fluttershy.
