The Beginning To Madness
It all started only just a few years ago when the perfect formula of how to create rainbows came into play that we needed a stable way to keep Cloudsdale running. Dr. Atmo a brick red handsome pegasi with a light brownish mane who was pretty new at the time was only a helper only wanting to succeed in making Cloudsdale Weather Corps. the best thing throughout Equestria but Dr. Stein has other plans....
Dr. Stein a silver color pegasi with a pitch black pitch mane was one of the most level headed pegasus you can find in Cloudsdale. He's always looking for perfection in every possible way he could find so he joined the Corps to make Cloudsdale as a perfect and sufficient place throughout Equestria. Stein always has a fascination with robotics which made him more eager to continue his research little did he know that he will soon find a discovery that is even beyond his own control.Stein always wanted to create the most perfect pony in every way possible so he started from scratch and created Project Ampere. Ampere is a gray pegasi with gold color eyes and a blondish mane. Stein was satisfied with his greatest achievement so he showed it to Spitfire who which was very impressed with his achievement. As Stein walked close to Spitfire's office he saw this shiny purple door and as he got close to it he gently pushed it with his hoof where this yellow pegasi with an orange fire mane sitting on her desk wearing her suit of medals each representing of what she did. In the office the clouds looks so white and puffy it's almost impossible to see through them.
"General Spitfire after months of research I have finally found the solution to our lack of employees." Dr. Stein said with excitement and regret.
"Oh really? Explain yourself?" Asked Spitfire.
"Well you say that we need more workers working in the factory so why not use a robot instead?"
Spitfire was puzzled of such a thought. She thought for a moment and asked Stein about his newfound creation and he responded with
"You see General Spitfire...." And just before he was about to explain Spitfire interrupted him by saying
"Please call me Spitfire".
"My apologies Spitfire, as you can see this is the future where only the most toughest places in this facility where the other workers got injured or mentally ill can be replaced just by this one machine that way we can hire less workers and keep the ones we already have left."
"I see" Remarked Spitfire. "And do you have any ideas of how to make this "robot" of yours to do what you said it to do?"
"Of course!" Dr. Stein says with pure excitement. "I programmed him to the best of my ability to be like just like everypony else except he can live forever while the others can't making sure that Cloudsdale Weather Corporation lasts forever even after our departure."
"Ok. Follow me Stein I'll take you where we make the rainbows that powers our glorious mobile cloud city." Spitfire saying with sincerity "But I have to ask you something Stein. Do you know how rainbows are made?"
Stein was puzzled he exactly knows how rainbows are made but something deep inside of him is wanting to know more of why Spitfire asked him that, so without further to do he responded with "Yes it's by the light spectrum from the sun hitting the rain which creates a rainbow."
"Haha." Spitfire Laughed "You'll be quite surprise that these rainbows aren't like any ordinary rainbows you see in the sky after a storm."
"What does she mean?" Dr.Stein quietly ask himself.
As they walk across the factory they come towards a silver door that says "V.I.P. EMPLOYEES ONLY". This door looks barely new like it was just built. Spitfire opened the door with her hoof and they walked inside. Little did Stein knew of what he is going to witness will change his life forever. As both pegasus walked through the door there is this masterpiece of horror. Stein didn't know what to think when he saw this contraption of chaos.
"What is this?" murmured Stein.
"This is how rainbows are made" Spitfire explained.
"Wait! What!?!" Stein said with horror as he became speechless of looking at this rigid machine and yet strangely amused of it's purpose.
"You see Dr. Stein we are low on power for Cloudsdale to stay afloat. Without power Cloudsdale would go down and there will be no more weather control which will cause droughts and floods on most areas of Equestria which will endangered the earth ponies and unicorns and you wouldn't want that do you Dr. Stein?"
"No!" Stein says frighteningly. "Bu bu but how does this machine creates rainbows?"
"Very good question." Spitfire says eagerly. "Well you see considering we are running low on natural rainbows we discovered the life essence of ponies will make a wonder substitute but sadly lives have to be lost. Do you want to know how this works Dr. Stein?"
"Um... yes" Stein was speechless of what he was hearing he had hoped it was some sick joke being played on him because this is horrifying and yet he is intrigued by such a thought he is questioning his own insanity.
As Spitfire about to tell him she put her hoof between her eyes and let out a huge "sigh" then put her hoof back down ready to explain. "Well you see Stein when fillies fails our strict Summer flight camp flying test we carry the failures to this facility and strapped them down to the machine where dozens of tiny needles struck them into the chest where their life essence is sucking them until there is nothing left. It's a painless experiment really to show them to do better next year or they'll face the same treatment just like the rest of them."
Stein's sanity just snapped in two and telling himself that he is doing this for a better cause for Cloudsdale and all of Equestria. "So miss hehe where do you want me to put this robot?" Stein said crazily.
"Glad to have you on board I knew you'll like it" Spitfire said with excitement.
