> Twilight's Story Part 2 > by EveryponyWants2Love > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter One: The News > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight’s dark blue mane was tightened into a big bun on the top of her head. One strand of pink was in her face, but that was ‘high fashion’. The dress fit perfectly, and it felt like she was walking on clouds. She just wished that she would be spending the wedding day with a person she knew, who she loved. Thank Celestia that Celestia allowed one month before the wedding. “Don’t get too comfortable, you two,” Celestia winked when the two requested it. How will I ever get comfortable with any of this? Twilight thought. She opened the dressing room door, so all her friends could see the beautiful dress. “Oh, my darling this is simply divine!” Rarity exclaimed. Twilight blushed as her friends admired everything she was wearing. “Yep, you just gotta buy this one! Yep! Yep! Yep!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed. Twilight nodded and turned to the fashion shop’s owner. “I say yes to this dress!” Twilight exclaimed. The shop owner put a proud smile on her face. The six friends walked out the door of the shop. Rainbow Dash stood behind with Twilight. "What's wrong, Rainbow?" Twilight asked. Rainbow Dash looked both ways, trying to make sure no pony else would hear it. "Me and Flash are engaged," Rainbow Dash whispered. Twilight's face turned from a happy smile into a huge shocked face. "Wow, Rainbow, that- how good for you!!!" Twilight exclaimed. Rainbow dash put her hoof up to her mouth to hush her friend. "We don't have all the details yet, be we are think about having it on the clouds. So, can you make a spell that has all our earth pony and unicorn friends be able to walk on clouds? Like that one time?" Rainbow asked. "Of course, Rainbow," Twilight put on a sincere smile and hugged Dash. "Anywho... Enough about me! How was your first date with Prince Blueblood last night?" Rainbow asked. "Terrible. Very, very terrible," Twilight shivered at the thought of what happened. "Are you okay, Twi? Did he go too far?" Rainbow asked. "Oh, no!" Twilight exclaimed, "He was the biggest brat ever! Even Spike had better social skills than him! I took him to a nice, quaint little country restaurant. When he saw the menu he squealed like a little pig. I have never been so mortified in my life!" Rainbow nodded solemnly. "Slowpokes! Gummy's faster than you! Hurry up!" Pinkie Pie yelled. Twilight looked up from Rainbow Dash. The rest of their friends were a block away. The two girls flew over there in a zip. "Whatever where you two talking about that was so interesting?" Rarity asked. Twilight looked over at Rainbow Dash, who was blushing like crazy. "Tell them, Rainbow!" Twilight encouraged. Rainbow took a deep breath. "I'm engaged to Flash Sentry," Rainbow said. The friends looked at each other, surprised. "We need something..." Pinkie Pie suddenly said, "We need.... A PARTY!!!" With that, the friends all squealed and giggled and asked Rainbow a bunch of questions. "Darling, when is it?" Rarity asked. "I told you, I haven't worked out the details... but it's not gonna be huge..." Rainbow stumbled with the words. The friends gathered around Rainbow. Twilight wished that she could marry someone for love. Not for royalty. > Chapter 2: The Coffee Cafe > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight stared across the table at her fiance. He was elegantly sipping his cup of coffee. "You always going to be like this?" Twilight asked. The white stallion stared at her with his crystal blue eyes. "What, may you presume?" he asked. Twilight rolled her eyes. "Ignore me? And you know that Celestia is going to give you a spell that will make you immortal," Twilight explained. Blueblood put his cup down and looked the purple mare into the eye. "Why, my little sparkle, you should know that I love you dearly," the prince smiled. Fake smile for sure. He quickly went back to reading the weekly Canterlot Times. Yeah, like that will work on me, Twilight thought. She sipped her green tea and ate her hay sandwich. "Honey, do you love me back?" Blueblood touched Twilight's hoof. Twilight pushed it away. "I dunno. I was kinda forced into this, you realize that, right?" Twilight suggested. Blueblood nodded and put down his reading glasses. "Twi, you are my one and only. My true love," Blueblood said. Twilight disapproved of that. "Uh, then why did you say to your mother, 'Is this the royal princess I am to marry?'" Twilight snapped. Blueblood put his cup down and stared at his almost- bride. "Dear, will you insult me like this in front of our children?" Blueblood asked. Twilight sneered her nose and was shocked and insulted. Twilight put her hoof to her mouth. "You actually want children?!" Twilight exclaimed. Blueblood nodded. "Yes, and I even made a list of baby names," Blueblood explained, "If it's a boy, we'll name him Blueblood Jr. If it so happens to be a girl, we'll name her Twila, because it rhymes with your name." And it also happens to be your great grandmother's name Twilight thought. Hey, she did some research a looonngg time ago. "Wow... you actually care about the little details?" Twilight asked. Blueblood nodded. "Hey, the wedding's in a wek. Seven days..." Blueblood put back on his reading glasses, took a sip of coffee, and covered his face with the Canterlot Times. OH. MY. CELESTIA, Twilight thought. But it was true. Seven more days until she was offically Twilight Sparkle Blueblood. > Chapter 3: Rainbow Brite > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight Sparkle was taken back by Blueblood's crazy, not-normal self. He's reeaaallly acting wierd Twilight thought. The fact that he would actually come up with baby names kinda freaked her out. This is just a little side note from the author, sorry, but the party was eight months ago. FYI. Soon, a herd of crazy ponies was running toward her. Pink, white, yellow, orange. Yep. Mane six. "Girls, calm down!" Twilight exclaimed. They ran right past her. "Sorry Twi, can't explain! Gotta go! Yep, yep, yep! Rainbow Dash is having her filly!" Pinkie Pie yelled. Twilight forgot. She had the party the first day of Feburary, the wedding was on Valentine's day... And it was September now... OMC! "Wait!!!!!" she yelled. She galloped straight to the hospital where Rainbow Dash was. ~*~*~*~* Twilight and the others (except Rainbow Dash) stared into the glass window of the baby room. Finally, Flash Sentry came out with tired eyes. "I've been here since three o'clock in the morning," he sighed. He shook his tired head and yawned. "But, anywho, meet Rainbow Brite Dash Sentry," Flash smiled. He pointed to a little filly wrapped in a pink blanket burrito, sat in a cradle. She yawned, revealing her tiny little wings. She was a spitting image of Flash, but had many similarities as Rainbow. Her skin color was a ligth orange and her hair all, um, messy like Rainbow's. Her hair was the color of flash's hair, only with a light blue strand in it. She was adorable and just... perfect! The six ponies awed and ooed as the proud father smiled at his little bundle of joy. The little baby started to cry. "Shh, shh, daddy's here," Flash picked up Rainbow Brite and caressed her mane. "Visiting time is over!" Nurse Redheart demanded. The six left the hospital. ~*~*~*~* "Aw, boy! I cannot wait until that little cutie is old enough to play with me!" Pinkie exclaimed. "I think she'll be a great little fashionista, her mane is so beautiful! She'll grow to be a beautiful mare," Rarity admired. "Have you met her parents? She'll be a show-stopper for sure!" Applejack stated. "Either or, she'll be just a little bundle of joy and happiness," Fluttershy said sweetly. This got Twilight thinking. Did Blueblood really mean what he said?
