What happens when a young creature known only to legend Enters Ponyville? Will he accepted or hated?

A young sentient creature known as a Jinouga, has been thrown out by his parents into the cold Everfree forest for not being 'aggressive enough'. The Jinouga has been a creature only known in myths and legends to all ponykind, but when this omnivore, with a very dangerous natural instinct, finds its way into Ponyville, will the inhabitants accept him as one of their own, will they throw him out, or will they utterly destroy him.

(This is an experimental story crossing over a creature from monster hunter and putting it into My Little Pony. This is going to be a sad/good feeling/cute story. Hope I do it well. I will also include pictures to help describe it a bit more)

P.S, this is a young Jinouga he is only about 3.5 ft tall and 7ft long from head to tail.

The Everfree forest was quiet this time of night, The starry night sky and Luna's great moon illuminated the forest. The soft sound of a babbling brook with a chirping cricket gave bliss to the creature by the lake. He was a beautiful horned creature that bore both white fur and blueish scales, there was also a calm blue glow radiating from his scales. He was silently stared into the brook crying... lost, cold, alone. He was silently mumbling to himself, as tears streamed down his snout into the cold water.

"What did I do wrong daddy?" The creature asked, looking into the starry sky that was visible through an opening in the forest canopy, "I just didn't want to hurt the little deer, she was so scared of me." His eyes returned to the brook, "I'm not a monster."

The creature moved a clawed hand over his stomach as it started to growl, crying harder. He then prayed to Celestia for a blessing of food. A small fish splashing in the river near by caught his eye. Quickly he began to stalk the fish as it swam by. He then started to stalk the fish as it passed him, ready to pounce on it at any moment. Just as he was about to pounce, a load roar shook the jungle scattering animals that had been invisible only moments before. The young creature shivered in fear, he knew that raor... It was the angry roar of his father. He looked back to where the fish had been, but it was gone causing his stomach to growl louder than before, as he lamented the loss of his dinner. But he knew if he didn't get out of the forest before his father found him, his stomach would be the least of his worries.

He ran at a very fast speed through the forest, ignoring the sharp pain in his stomach. He climbed over fallen trees and jumped over long rivers almost effortlessly. The forest was becoming less dense and the pain was getting worse. After a little more climbing and a few more jumps and he finally cleared the forest. He looked back into the darkness of the forest that was once his home. He wanted to cry again, but he had no more tears left in him.

What was once forest, was now plains of grass with an orchard at the top of one of the hills. He started to feel fatigued, the hunger finally slowing him down. He approached on of the tall orchards and started to climb it. He sunk his sharp claws into the tree, slowly pulling himself higher up the tree. He was now nearing an apple. He opened his mouth and was ready to take a bite of the succulent red fruit, when his body started to shut down on him. His grip started to loosen on the tree, causing him to fall to the soft ground at the foot of the tree. His breathing slowed down before he closed his eyes, he was now deprived of any energy he had. The blue glow started to fade as the creature fell asleep.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun started to rise, signifying the start of a brand new day. A yellow pegasus with a pink mane exited her 'tree' house with a big smile on her face.

She looked down at her side to see a white bunny, stomping it's foot and throwing a fit. "Don't worry little angle-bunny, I will be back with a big carrot for you when I get back from town." The bunny then stopped his fit and went back inside. "*Yawn,* I wonder if Twilight perfected that spell she told me about." She then closed the door and started down the cobblestone path that lead into town. She started to hum softly to herself before something caught her eye. Up on top of a hill, their was a small white and blue creature at the base of a tall orchard. Flutter Shy was too curious, she took off and flew to the being at the base of the orchard. She was absolutely shocked, she had never seen such a creature before. It was about 3ft tall and 7ft long from head to tale, It had pure white fur and blue scales. Flutter Shy knew animals, and this one was young, cold, and very sad.

She brought her snout near the creatures mouth and felt a very week breath, "Oh no, you are very sick you poor thing, but what are you?" She then heard a painful moan come from the creature. "Oh dear, I need to get you to Twilight's place. She always knows what to do." She then picked up the creature and set it on her back, "Don't worry, I will take care of you no matter what." Another soft moan came from him as Flutter Shy trotted into town to find Twilight.

It was about a ten minuet trip from her place to twilights. While in town, many ponies gave a worried look as Flutter Shy passed by with a wolf-like creature that rested on Flutter Shy's back. Rainbow Dash was passing overhead when so noticed this, she flew down to Flutter Shy and landed in front of her.

"Hay Flutter Shy, whats with the doll?" Flutter Shy stopped in front of Rainbow Dash and took a deep breath.

"This isn't a doll Rainbow, I found this creature lying near an orchard in pain, and now I'm taking it to Twilights to get help." Rainbow's eyes then widened as she observed the creature that seemed almost lifeless that lied on Flutter Shy's back.

"Well what are we waiting for!?" She turned around and started to gallop, "Lets go!" Flutter Shy then took off after Rainbow.

They finally arrived at the door step and nocked at the door. "Twilight! You in their!?"

A voice then came from the other side of the door, "It's a public library Dash! It's open already!" The two pegasi then ran inside to see their dear friend cleaning up the library, yet again. "Now what can I help you with girls?" Flutter Shy walked to Twilight and told her the story of how she found the creature.

"Well just set it on my couch, I'll go get some water and a few apples." Flutter Shy then laid the creature on its stomach, he was sprawled out on the couch now. Rainbow then walked up to the wolf-like creature.

"This thing looks so cool, can I keep him?" Seconds later twilight came in from the kitchen levitating a glass of clean water and a few red apples.

"We don't even know what is is Dash, and you want to keep it?" Twilight then set the food and water an a nearby table. "For all we know it could eat us."

"Oh come on Twilight! Something this small couldn't do that much harm now could it!?" At that moment a sleepy purple dragon came from upstairs.

"*Yawn*, whats all the commotion-" He then noticed the being laying on the couch, "... Why is there a Jinouga on our couch Twilight?"

Twilight was puzzled at spikes question. "Im sorry spike, a what?"

Spike then walked up to the creature and his eyes widened, "We have a sentient species thats supposed to be extinct in our living room!"

"How do you know that Spike?"

Spike turned his gaze to Twilight, "This a Jinouga, a being of lightning itself. They're all supposed to be extinct!"

"Oh my gosh, A being of lightning! Now I have to keep it!"

Spike then looked at Rainbow, "It's not a pet its a sentient 'Fanged Wyvern'."

"Excuse me?"

Spike gave out an annoyed moan and walked to a shelf of books. He then pulled out a large, old, brown book and walked over to twilight.

"Here," Spike gave his mentor the book, "Turn to page 102."

Twilight then opened the book and flipped to the page spike was talking about. There was a brief sketch of what the creature looked like and a little bit of information about it. Twilight read it aloud to all her friends...

JINOUGA, FANGED WYVERN
Jinouga is also known as the Thunder Wolf Wyvern. The Wyvern has incredibly developed limbs, sharp fangs and claws. Its front limbs are extremely powerful and can kill prey in one brutal blow. Jinouga is very agile and is able to perform many impressive maneuvers. The spikes on its body mostly lie straight, but when it has built up an electric charge they stick out vertically into the air.

"Wait, this is it?" Twilight then looked to Spike

"Yup, this creature is so rare that it has only been documented a few times. Only the bravest have ever found even a trace of the Jinouga."

Twilight then closed the book and set it down, "Do you know how aggressive the creature is, because it seems that it is vary dangerous." A look of uncertainty was now on Twilights face as she looked at the Wyvern.

"First of all its a 'he', the color of his fur and scales matches his gender. Second, only those who have seen a Jinouga noted it as non-agressive until provoked, but there are only a few records of it."

"Hm... interesting, Rainbow!" Twilight turned to her, "Round up all our friends and bring them here, also tell Apple Jack to bring some zap apple jam with her."

"On it!" Rainbow then bolted out of the house to retrieve the others.

Flutter Shy then started to pet the creature behind its neck, "Oh you poor thing-"

She was interrupted by Twilight, "Flutter Shy, can you go get a blanket from upstairs for our guest please." Flutter Shy nodded and went upstairs to Twilights bed.

"This is so interesting, a supposedly extinct being is lying on my couch." The wolf started to move now, his stomach growled loudly for food. Twilight leaned close to the creature as it stirred in its sleep. Spike came to Twilights side and was very excited. Twilight then levitated an apple near the creatures snout. The wolf then gave a few sniffs and opened his eyes slowly. The blue electric glow was now becoming visible again. Twilight was absolutely fascinated by the creatures deep blue eyes as they focused on the apple. Then out of nowhere, the Wyvern darted at the apple and started sinking its small but sharp fags into the apple. Juices squirted everywhere as he attacked the apple.

In a few more vicious bites, the apple was completely gone, core and all. Its stomach then growled again. He then turned his gaze to Twilight as she levitated another apple towards him. He tilted his head slightly, curious of the kind gesture he was receiving.

"Can you understand me?"

It took a moment before the creature spoke. "Y-yes." His voice was low but very cute, it made Twilight giggle a bit.

"Whats your name?"

He looked down sadly, "I-I don't have one." Twilight couldn't help but feel sorry for the creature, she levitated the apple within reach of him. He then extended his fairly muscular arm and grasped it with his shape claws. A smile was now on his face, he brought the apple to himself and took a few bites of the apple, much slower this time.

Spike decided to speak up, "Well I guess we will have to give you one then." The creatures ears perked up after he heard that.

Flutter Shy finally came down stairs and saw the creature munching happily on an apple. "Oh... your awake, I'm so happy now." Flutter Shy gracefully walked up right next to twilight and watched the creature enjoy his apple. "Whats his name?"

"Doesn't have one."

"Oh..." Flutter Shy then started thinking on a name for the creature. "How about Jin?"

His mouth was full but he shook his head no.

"Wolfie?" He finished what was in his mouth.

"Nope." Flutter Shy also giggled a little bit at his cute voice.

"Lupi?"

"Na." Flutter Shy now was getting a little annoyed now at his stubbornness.

Twilight had an idea though, "How about Bolt?"

His eyes then turned to Twilight, "I like that one."

"Alright, *Giggle*, Bolt it is."

The door opened and Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Apple Jack entered the library.

"What in tarnation is this about Rainbow?"

"Just wait, he looks so cool."

"Oh my stars Rainbow, you didn't tell us you had a coltfriend!"

Rainbow face hoofed, "No! Just... look over there and see for your self!"

The four ponies then approached the wolf siting on the couch as he finished his last apple.

"Oh my!" Rarity hugged Bolt, "He looks so adorable." Bolt then gave a little yelp and pried himself away from Rarity's grasp. Bolt the jumped onto Dash's back and looked back at Rarity.

"Please don't do that."

"Awwww, he sounds so cute... er, I mean awesome!" Rainbow looked at the creature that was perched on her back, swinging his tail around. "Whats you name squirt?"

Bolt then turned to Dash. "I'm not that small am I?"

"No darling, your the perfect size. Not small like Apple Bloom, but not as tall as us."

"My names Bolt now... and can we all please stop calling me cute, I'm a cold blooded hunter." He jumped off of Dash's back to the couch again.

"Will do squirt!" Bolt gave a nice smile to Rainbow Dash, causing her to sit next to him on the couch.

"So did you find out what Bolt is Twilight?"

"I did Rainbow, he's a..." Twilight went over again on what Bolt was from the book.

"Oh my gosh Twilight! That is so bad-flank." Rainbow then wrapped her left wing around Bolt, pulling him a little closer. Bolt didn't mind the contact from Dash, so he didn't resist it.

Apple Jack was a little concerned from what she heard though, "Ah don't know Twilight, that creature sounds a-might dangerous to keep round."

Spike responded, "He will only get aggressive if someone attacks him first, other than that, he is a pretty pacifist being."

"Ah still don't know, but theirs no need to judge em now." She then stroked his neck. "Ah need to get going, Big Mackintosh needs ma help." Apple Jack then went on her way to sweet apple acres with her family.

The rest of the girls hanged out with Bolt for the rest of the day, the girls then decided that it was time to part ways, they all said their goodbyes to Bolt and left for their jobs. Pinkie also promised Bolt that she would throw him a welcome to Ponyville party. Only Twilight, Spike, and Rainbow Dash, who was now cuddling Bolt while he was asleep on her chest, remained behind in the library.

"So Twilight, can I keep him?" She spoke in a hushed tone.

"We can worry about that later, lets just let him sleep for now. Plus I don't think Bolt could go up to your house."

Rainbow frowned and returned her gaze to the sleeping Wyvern on her chest. "Can I at least stay here with him for tonight,"

Twilight smiled, "He's making you go soft on us isn't he?"

Rainbow then brought her hoof to Bolts head and played with his fur. "Ya, *Giggle*, I guess he is."

"Well your free to stay with him for tonight."

"*Yawn*,Thanks Twilight." Twilight then gave Rainbow a blanket that she used to cover both Bolt and herself, Rainbow soon fell fast asleep.

Twilight then looked to Spike, who was reading the book about dragons. "Spike, can you send a letter to Princess Celestia about our discovery, she might have a little more knowledge on what we have here."

Spike closed the book and set it on the table, "Not a problem." Spike then went over to a nearby paper and quill, he quickly wrote about the finding of bolt and giving a short description on what he looked like. He rolled up the paper, took a deep breath, and blew a little sliver of green fire, sending the letter away.

"So what now Twilight?" Spike walked over to Twilight who was resting on another couch, looking at Dash and Bolt cuddling together.

"Now Spike... We wait." Spike then jumped up on the couch and laid down next to Twilight. With a glow of her magic horn, all the lights in the house went out, and she soon fell asleep with Spike.

(I really hoped you all liked this, It was a little Idea I had a while back and now I'm writing about. This story is going to be a bit more slower paced than most stories, I'm trying to go for a good feeling type of story, but that doesn't mean that there will be some blood shed and corruption in the future. Also check out my other story... It's pretty good, Im Not That Important… Am I?)

(This is going to be a somewhat of a large announcement, but I want most of you to read it because it explains a few things. First, sorry about how long this took to get out, I was suffering from writers block for this story and I was more focused on my other story. The reason why it took so long, was that I redid it multiple times to get it correct. Second, due note that I didn't like writing this chapter at all. So if dislike this chapter, don't let that make you hate the story... because after this, it's going to get good. Here it is... finally.)

"Good child... good."

"Did you like it daddy!? Did you did you!?"

"Your skill with the power of the storm are... extraordinary, to say the least. We will make a ruler out of you yet."

"W-what do you mean?"

"You my child, will be the most feared creature in all of Equestria. You will bring demise upon all who oppose us. You, are the one who will finish what my grandfather started."

"But-"

"But nothing! This is your destiny, and you will fulfill it! You are a warrior, a hunter, a killer... and you will be nothing else."

"But-"

"WHAT!? Do you think that there is anything else for you in Equestria! Look at yourself... you are a Monster! And you will forever be one."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sun was slowly rising, when Bolt was awakened from his nightmare. Tears were streaming down his face, each sparkling drop falling upon the plush coat of the cyan pegasus. Her wings were limp, signifying that she was still asleep. Bolt quietly sniffled and wrapped his furry arms around Rainbow Dash's neck. His mind was still filled with the harsh words spoken to him by his cruel father.

He never wished to hurt another living creature, even though it was in his nature to hunt and kill. However, being an omnivore gave Bolt some options to avoid eating meat. Any protein he needed, he obtained from fish or raiding a few eggs from nests. When it was time for him to kill a sentient creature, a young deer in Bolts case, he refused. Bolt remembered his fathers outburst against his unnatural pacifism. This event, is what caused him to be banished by his father. He had no family to turn to anymore... he was an outcast

The painful memories slowly stopped. Bolt then let go of his dear friend, and decided he needed some time alone to think. Quietly, Bolt walked to the door and opened it. A cool breeze hit Bolt as he observed the rising sun. He sighed happily, never before had he seen something so beautiful. He slowly closed the door behind him, and walked away from the library.

It was generally peaceful out as Bolt walked through the silent town. He observed all the colorful buildings that occupied the town, there was an art shop, a diner, and many unattended karts that held a variety of foods. He wasn't surprised that all the food was meant for the ponies that occupied the town, but he wanted something with a bit more, well... protein.

Just then, like a miracle from the great beyond, his nostrils were filled with a smokey aroma. He loudly sniffed at the air around him, trying to pinpoint were the amazing small was originating from. His hunting senses kicked in, causing him stalk... whatever it was. It didn't take long for Bolt to find out where the smell was coming from. He slowly approached a shack that was spurting out black smoke from its chimney. Bolt had to investigate it. He quietly ran behind the shack and looked through a window that was low to the ground.

Inside, was a griffin that was cooking... fish. Bolt started to salivate uncontrollably as he pressed his snout against the window, smudging it. The griffin that was cooking inside, was oblivious to Bolts presence. Bolt's stomach growled, as he smelled the cooking fish. He couldn't take it anymore. He quickly jumped onto the side of the shack, sinking his claws into the old wood that held it together. Swiftly, he climbed his way to the roof of the shanty, giving him access to the smoking chimney.

Bolt didn't like the idea, but it was the quickest way to take the fish without being seen. He approached the smokestack and took a deep breath before entering the small hole. Due to bolts razor sharp claws, he was easily able to make his way down the chimney. After a few moments of sliding, he popped his head out of the bottom of the chimney. He was still firmly gripping the inside of the smokestack, but his head was now sticking out. This secluded position, allowed him to quickly observe his surroundings, without being seen. The griffin was nowhere to be found, and the fish was right below him.

Bolt's eye was on the prize... six, whole salmon, cooking on a pan above an open fire. His hunter senses kicked in, and with one swift motion, he successfully nabbed two of the succulent salmon with his mouth, and made his way back up the chimney.

He quickly made his way out of the chimney and back to the roof top. Bolt was completely covered in soot, proudly holding the spoils of his catch in his mouth. His then heard a loud voice, emit out of the chimney.

"WHAT IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA HAPPENED TO MY FISH!!??" The salmon that Bolt was holding in his mouth, muffled his laughter. And without another word, he jumped off of the roof and safely landed upon the soft grass. He quickly bolted away from the shanty, to find a safe spot to indulge on his fresh catch.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About a mile away from the angry griffin's shack, he had finally stopped at a lake that was surrounded by trees. He set the fish next to him near the lake's shore and laid down. He took a moment to steady his heavy breathing, before sinking his teeth into the smoked salmon. He couldn't believe the flavor that overtook his senses. He detected many different herbs and spices, that complemented the fish perfectly.

Bolt wolfed down both fish effortlessly. And with both fish now gone, he rolled over onto his back and stroked his soot covered belly with his paw. Bolt was still saddened by the memory about being banished by his father, but this helped comfort him a bit. He then realized that he was still completely covered in the black dust from the chimney. He decided that he would take a quick bath in the lake before returning to Twilight's library.

He threw the bones and uneaten remains of the fish into the lake before jumping in himself. He made a large splash when he hit the crystal clear water and sank. He quickly resurfaced and squirted out some water from his mouth. Bolts playful splash didn't go unnoticed, because on the shore, stood three small fillies.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Rainbow calm down!"

"Don't tell me to calm down!" Rainbow Dash was in an absolute frenzy. She was flying back and froth across the library in search for Bolt.

"You need to calm down!" Twilight was standing in the middle of the library, watching her friend fanatically searching for little Bolt. "Where did you see him last?"

Rainbow shouted from Twilights room, "I don't know! Last thing I remember was cuddling with him before I fell asleep!" She then darted down the stairs and landed in front of Twilight.

Twilight could see that her friend was on the verge of tears, "Rainbow..." She placed her hoof on Rainbow's shoulder. "He will be fine, he probably just went out for a walk."

Rainbow sniffled, "I'm not worried about that. I'm worried that he left for good."

"Why? does he really mean that much to you?"

"I don't know why... Im not romantically attracted to him don't think that." Twilight mentally sighed in relief, "but, I really care about him."

"I'll keep an eye out for him. And if he comes back, you will be the first to know."

Rainbow smiled, "Thanks 'Twi'."

"Now, you have a stallion to meet."

"Oh, was that today?"

Twilight gasped, "You seriously forgot!? It's the only thing you have been talking about for weeks."

"It's just a blind date, I really don't care about it anymore."

Twilight shook her head, "You worry me sometimes Rainbow. Now get out there and meet him."

Rainbow sighed and wiped away a single tear, "Fine." She made her way to the door and opened it, "But make sure you tell me immediately when you find him."

"You can count on me."

Rainbow Dash shut the door and took off, heading towards the spot where she was meeting the stallion she was set up with. She was quickly flying towards Ponyville, before she stopped halfway and made a decision. "Screw the date!" She then speed off in a different direction, now in search for Bolt.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bolt was staring at the three fillies that were only slightly smaller than he was. Their returning stare was starting to make him uncomfortable. To brake the stare, Bolt dived and swam away from the curious ponies. He resurfaced near the other side of the lake, he thought for sure that he lost them... but he quickly was proven wrong. When he climbed out of the water and shook all of the loose water off, he was immediately greeted by the same three fillies he saw on the other side of the lake.

The yellow one with a red bow spoke first, "Y'all funny lookin." Bolt growled at the remark.

The orange pegasus looked at the yellow earth pony, "Your kidding me right Apple Bloom?" She then looked at Bolt, "It's like a badflank wolf! Except even cooler!"

The yellow pony observed Bolt, "Ah guess so... whatca name puppy, ah don't' see a color."

Bolt was starting to get annoyed at being talked to like a mutt, "I'm not a dog." The three ponies gasped, "And my names Bolt."

It took a moment for the girls to come to realization. Then the yellow filly spoke, "Well, mah names Apple Bloom," She pointed at the pegasus, "This here is Scootaloo." Then the unicorn, "and this is Sweetie Belle."

Then they all shouted at once, "AND WERE THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!!" The shout caused Bolt to recoil back, landing in the lake again with a huge splash.

He resurfaced, coughing from the water he swallowed. He tried to climbed out on his own, "Why would you do that?"

Scootaloo spoke, "Sorry," she then grabbed Bolts paw with both hooves and quickly pulled him out of the lake. "So what are you?"

Bolt didn't wish to scare the fillies with the details of what he was, so he kept it simple, "Just call me Bolt, thats all you need to know for now."

Scootaloo's didn't listen, her gaze was fixated on something behind him. "W-what are you," There was a loud whistle that came from behind, but before Bolt could turn around, he was suddenly whisked from the ground by a blue blur.

All Bolt could do was scream, as he was being hauled higher and higher into the sky. Bolt ceased his screaming and closed his eyes, whimpering silently in fear. He felt himself being set down on something soft, but before he could react, he was pulled in for a tight hug. He slowly opened his eyes, finding himself being hugged by Rainbow Dash on a cloud.

She sniffled, "I thought I lost you."

"I just went for a little walk Rainbow, you really didn't need to worry about me," Bolt quietly laughed.

Rainbow pulled back a bit, allowing Bolt to look into her eyes... he could see the seriousness in them, "Then don't do that ever again."

He gulped, "I-I'm sorry, I just needed some time alone to think."

Rainbow nuzzled Bolt again, "I'm not mad at you Bolt, I was just afraid that you left without saying goodbye."

"I would never leave my friend without doing that." Bolt started to silently cry, never before had he felt so loved.

The two friends remained on the cloud for, what felt like hours. The suns position in the sky, signified that it was noon. "Ok squirt," She loosed her hug a bit to look at Bolt, "Now I have a question to ask you. Now that I canceled on my date, would you like to come with me to the Wonderbolts Derby in Cloudsdale?"

Bolt smiled and started to wag his tail, "I would love to... but who are the Wonderbolts?"

"Your kidding me? there only the best flying group in all of Equestria, and I have two tickets for the show!"

"They sound awesome. When is it?"

"On Saturday, three days from now."

"I can't wait. But can we get of the cloud now?"

"Oh... oh ya I forgot that we were up here." Rainbow Dash placed Bolt on her back, "Now hold on tight, you have a party to go to,"

"Ok... wait a party?" She then jumped off the cloud, and flew back to Ponyville.

(I really hope you like this chapter, but like I said before, I had very mixed feeling about this chapter. So don't dislike this story if you didn't like this chapter, because it's going to get good. And lets just say that the Wonderbolts Derby isn't going to be very eventful. The next chapter will be coming out tomorrow or Saturday)

Electrifying Introductions

(Holy crap you guys, you must really like cute electric wolves. I don't blame you though)

The flight to Apple Jack's barn, where the party is being held, was short and fast. When Rainbow Dash landed in front of the barn, Bolt quickly jumped off of his friends back.

He started to walk towards the big red barn, before Rainbow Dash stepped in front of him. "You can't go inside squirt," Bolt could have sworn that he heard some quiet giggling coming from inside. "I need you to wait outside for now."

Bolt sighed, "Ok." He turned around and made his way to a nearby orchard.

Rainbow Dash waited until Bolt was a few feet away before she went in, leaving Bolt outside. When he sat under the shade of the tree, he started to hum a song that was sung to him by his mother. He shut his eyes, and began to slowly rock back and forth to the tune. Bolt's loving memories of his mother, came rushing back to him...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Five Years Ago

"Wake up my child, a new day approaches."

Bolt started to stir, but refused to get up, "Hmm... f-five more min-" He passed out again.

Bolts mom silently giggled at Bolts stubbornness, but she wasn't going to put up with it. She slowly tilted her head forward, causing Bolt to role off of her head and land in the soft grass with a thud.

He slowly stood up and yawned, "I'm up."

The mother smiled and shook her head, "What am I going to do with you?"

Bolt rubbed his eyes, "Let me sleep."

"Now you know that you have lessons with your father this morning."

"I know... It's just..." He looked down, "I don't like them. He wants me to be something that I don't want to be."

Bolts mother raised an eyebrow, "And what is that exactly?"

"He keeps telling me that I'm going to grow up and be... an alpha... whatever that means. That I'm supposed to bring honor to our family and destroy all who oppose me. I don't want to be that."

She smiled softly, "My child, you can be anything that your heart desires. Your father is just very... well lets just say, determined."

Bolt looked into his mothers eyes, "What do you mean?"

"I remember when your father fought three other male Jinougas, just to be with me. What he sets his mind to, he gets."

Bolt sighed, "That really doesn't help me."

"What i'm trying to say is, give your father some grace. He only wishes for you to follow in his pawsteps. He loves you no mater what, because under that hard, scaly exterior... lies a loving father."

"You think so mommy?"

"I know so."

Bolt quickly jumped onto his mothers snout and hugged it. "I love you mommy, don't ever leave me."

She giggled, "No need to worry my son, I'm not going anywhere. Now go find your father, he has a lot to teach you."

Bolt let go of his mothers snout, and went to go find his father. But before he got to far, his mother spoke. "Remember my son, only you can chose what you want to be... you just only need to believe in yourself."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bolt was daydreaming for about five minuets, before he was approached by a familiar purple dragon. The dragon stopped just a few feet behind bolt before speaking. "Hay dude," Bolt turned around, "Were ready for you inside."

Bolt still didn't understand what was going on, but he wasn't going to argue with it. He started to follow the tiny dragon to the barn.

When they reached the barn doors, Bolt's senses were bombarded with multiple smells. His senses were so sharp, that he was able to recognize over 37 different aromas coming from the barn... six of them familiar.

Bolt started to feel a little nervous about the barn, "I-Im not sure about this Spike,"

"Don't worry Bolt, your going to like whats inside," Spike then opened the big red door, allowing Bolt to enter. Spike followed Bolt inside, and closed the door behind them. It was now pitch black... and Bolt didn't like it.

Bolt let out a silent whimper and started to shake, "I-I don't want to b-be here Spike." Bolt then laid down, and covered his eyes with his paws.

Spike noticed Bolts fear, "Uh guys... I don't think we should-" It was too late.

"SURPRISE!!" The lights then illuminated the room, allowing Bolt to see its inhabitants.

Something in Bolts head snapped, all sense of reasoning was abandoned, and instinct took over. Bolt quickly shot up, claws extended and growling, ready to kill at any moment. All the ponies in the barn started to admire cute little Bolt, unaware of what he is capable of. The only ponies who seemed to notice Bolts anger, was Twilight and Dash.

"Squirt, are you all-" Bolt didn't allow Rainbow to continue. The spikes and fur on Bolts back, shot straight up. Lightning started to shoot out of the spikes uncontrollably, scarring everypony in the barn. "Bolt! Whats gotten in to-" Bolts eyes started to glow bright blue, his growling became even louder.

Spike shouted, "EVERYPONY DUCK!!" All of the ponies in the barn, quickly jumped into cover... except one.

"Duck, where!?"

"NO PINKIE... DUCK!"

"Ohhh-" Right as Pinkie Pie galloped to cover, Bolt let out a bloodcurdling howl. Blue lightning then shot out of Bolt, scorching the nearby walls and almost hitting many of the frightened ponies.

The deadly barrage of lightning finally stopped, allowing the ponies in the barn to come out of cover. The all starred at Bolt, who was shaking uncontrollably. He was now standing in a patch of scorched earth, the wooden walls around him were burnt to a crisp. The glow Bolt naturally emitted from his body, was completely gone. His naturally blue eyes, were now a dark shade of grey.

Rainbow Dash slowly walked to the shaking wolf, "B-bolt?"

"I... I'm... sorry-" He collapsed,

"BOLT!!"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You felt it... didn't you Alpha?"

"Of course, he's my son... I know his spark."

"Even from here, his power can be felt."

"Indeed, he is the one who will bring redemption to our pack."

"If you don't mind me asking, why did you banish him?"

"Isn't it obvious? He lacks hatred for his enemies, that can only be learned through experience. I banished him so he could learn how to hate. He is a monster, and with an outburst like that, he will be treated like one."

"Ah... I see Alpha. So him being treated like a monster, will turn him into one."

"You are correct."

"And what happens when he turns?"

"...I will finish what my father started."

(I am so sorry that this chapter is so short. I just got back from Lithuania last night, and the time difference was terrible. So I decided to get this out to you guys, because I will probably not get another chapter out for a while. Hope you liked the picture though)
