Chapter 1 - Meeting Twilight
(Twilight's Point of view)
It had been a while since she was to do anything regal, the last thing she had done was defeat Tirek, using the Magic of Friendship. Princess Celestia, however, wanted her to come to the Castle, so they could discuss things royally. Her friends were not invited, but Spike was invited, because he was her #1 assistant. Princess Celestia must have had something important, or else she wouldn't have called Twilight there on urgent business. Twilight panicked as she entered the castle hall, happy to see Celestia and Luna. She wanted to know right away if they needed to defeat a new foe.
"Is... *heavy breathing*, there a new villain? Must we use the power of friendship?" Twilight said heavily, attempting to catch her breath. She flew here.
"Not a new Villain; But a new ally." Celestia had reassured her, that everything was going to be fine. Celestia and Luna both knew there wasn't going to be a threat.
"Who is this new ally? Will they help us?" Twilight asked, ready for any new test.
"No. Instead, you will help her." Celestia reassured Twilight, once more. She could see that Twilight was in a state of unrest, so she could obviously use the reassuring.
"Who is she?" Twilight asked, eager to be introduced to somepony new.
"Her name is Venus. She is an Alicorn." Celestia responded, left un-surprised by Twilight's reaction.
"There's another Alicorn? I won't be alone! This is so exciting!" Twilight was bouncing off of the walls, even more so eager to meet this new pony than before.
"However, Venus is not from Equestria. She is one of the last to migrate from our old land; Equuterreo. It was once a gleeful and cheerful land like this one, until an ancient Pony named Soros took it over. We were unable to defeat him, because we had no knowledge of the Elements of Harmony. As we were leaving, however, Soros had vanished, and we already abandoned the old land. Now, Venus is the last to have migrated here. You will basically be her mentor, teaching her Princess Responsibilities. Do not leave her without friends, however. She deserves friends as much as the next pony." Celestia had told Twilight, and with this new duty ready, Twilight was wondering where Venus was.
She is 12 years old, so expect her to act like a cgukd". Celestia finished, with Twilight now knowing her task. Suddenly, the Royal Guards came, playing music, with Venus entering the halls. Twilight was very excited to see her.
"Is this... all for me?" Venus asked, confused.
"Hello! I'm Twilight Sparkle, I'm going to be teaching you all there is to know about being a princess!" Twilight grinned, noting Venus' slight nervousness. Twilight backed down a bit, so she wouldn't frighten the pony.
"Hello, Twilight! I can't wait to learn- wait, I'm a princess? What's that mean?" Venus asked, once again confused.
"It means that you will be treated as royalty, as you are a figure of importance. You means something in the real world, Venus. Not only that, but you have us to protect you". Luna assured her.
"Awesome! Can we visit the Library, as Princesses? All together?" Venus asked, eager to know her new "family".
"I don't see why not." Celestia said, joining the others on the way to the royal library. They stopped in the Star Swirl the Bearded Wing, where they expected to learn lots about magic. They talked for hours and hours, until they heard a 12 year old MALE voice, saying something.
"Discord, huh? Sounds pretty epic!" Said a boy, reading a book.
"I want his powers... they look amazing! To teleport, that's awesome! And time, and time! I wanna learn magic! I'll become the next Star Swirl the Bearded! I'll be writing spells, left and right! Boom, Kaplow! It'll be me, greatest hero of all time! And my mentor... Princess Luna! Queen of all awesomeness!" The boy went on and on.
"Magic? I remember when I was like you, eager to learn magic!" Twilight said to the boy.
"Huh? You aren't Luna... but you are a princess... uh... oh! You're that new mare that saved us from the centaur guy! Princess... Daybreak?" The boy wondered.
"Princess Twilight is her name". Celestia came from behind her. The boy had yet to bow in front of her superiors.
"Oh. Where's Luna? She's my FAVORITE Princess!" The boy asked, eager for the answer he wanted.
"Thy is right here, why?" Luna asked him. The boy bowed down in front of his superior, Princess Luna.
"I-I-I'd like to learn magic under you!" The boy asked, shyly.
"Of course you can learn magic under my sister. She'd be delighted, unless I'm mistaken. It's all up to her." Celestia answered.
"I'd be delighted to-" Luna started, but was interrupted. The boy's joy was filled with happiness, everywhere. He absolutely loved Princess Luna.
"Boy, Princess Luna! When do we get to start our epic adventures! I really like you a lot Luna! I can't wait to talk to you and stuff! Can you tell me how you became Nightmare moon? And how you took down Discord? And the other villains? Oh! And your connection to Star Swirl the Bearded? He's my FAVORITE Unicorn! I love him, he's awesome too! I want to know all about you, Princess Luna! Please, tell me, how awesome is it to be a princess? I wish I was a Prince! Actually, no, I don't want to be married to a princess... unless it's you, Princess Luna! I can't wait, I just can't wait!" The boy was seriously happy to be with Luna.
"Woo! Woo! Woo!" The boy went on and on. And that is the beginning of how Venus had slowly fallen in love with Veris, the colt who was beginning to learn Magic Under Princess Luna. This was the beginning of an Epic Tale of Magic, Love, Magic, and lots of other things. Little did Veris know, but there was a lot more to his old home, Equuterreo, and even more to his connection to Star Swirl the Bearded. Little did he know, he was going to have the biggest adventure that has happened yet. Besides the Mane 6. Nothing can top that. This is the start of a journey. An epic one.
