Prologue
“AH! I can’t control it!” a blonde haired boy said as he fell to his knees, his eyes kept changing from his cerulean ones to completely red ones with black ripple patterns around the pupil and nine tomes on them. Chakra leak from his body cracking and destroying the ground around him, he look over and saw three people coming towards, he raised his hand to stop them and to his and everyone’s surprise a crater appeared in front of them “Stay back, Kaguya’s power is too much for me to control, I might hurt you or worse by accident”.
“But Naruto we have to do something” the pink haired girl said as she and the dark blue hair girl rush to help him, but were suddenly struck in the neck causing them both to fall unconscious.
“SAKURA! HINATA!” Naruto called out, he glared at the raven haired boy who was their attacker “Sasuke, why the hell did you do that!?”
“Isn’t it obvious” Sasuke said with a smirk on his face “Black Zetsu survived and knock us out, by the time I came to Naruto was gone, I killed Black Zetsu and returned to Konoha a hero, I became Hokage and soon ruler of the Shinobi nation, and with an iron fist it will prosper, but after we all mourn the loss of our dear friend Naruto, a fitting ending don’t you think”.
“I thought you changed” Naruto said as he tried to get up, but the chakra quickly brought him back to his knees.
“You thought wrong” Sasuke said as his Sharingan turned into the Mangekyō Sharingan “I must really thank the Sage, since he gave me his power my Mangekyō Sharingan can do a lot more, I can even do the Kamui and extend its range to other dimension, so long Naruto, you were a Dobe to the end Kamui”
“SASUKE!!!” Naruto shouted as his body was being pulled into void of the Kamui.
“AAAAHHHHH!!!” a purple and green teenage dragon shouted as he shout up from his bed, he look around and gave a heavy sigh “Another dream about him”.
“Spike!” a voice shouted as footsteps were heard coming into towards the room, when the door open standing there was his sister figure and the alicorn princess of Friendship Twilight Sparkle.
Spike could help but smile seeing her, it has been almost five months since she became an Alicorn and gained her own castle, and she had down so much in that short amount of time, she was wearing her gold crown, her sapphire blue hair was tied in a bun with violet and rose streaks visible in it, she was wearing her purple princess dress, and purple high heels. Spike notice she must have had Rarity change the design on it a little, since instead of her wings coming out of the back of her dress, it was made so that the dress went under them so not to get in the way, her cutie mark design was on both sides of the dress and she had pink lines along the sides and down the cleavage ‘No, bad Spike don’t look!’ Spike thought as quickly turned away not wanting to stare at his sister-figures breast. Since he came of age four months ago, he had been thinking of his friends in a new light and noticing their bodies more, he read up on it and knew what it was, he was starting to get sexually active, common for dragons who have come of age, so far he has been able to suppress it, he felt a warm feeling for all his friends, including Rarity even though his crush for has slowly but surely faded, but he has suppressed these feelings to keep their friendship strong.
Twilight saw the blush on his face and moved over to him “Spike are you sick, you look like you have a fever” she said as she placed her hand on forehead “hmm, you don’t have a fever that’s good, but what were you screaming about?”
“I had a bad dream” Spike said kind of embarrassed.
“What was it about?” Twilight ask, curious since he hasn’t screamed because of any nightmares since he was little.
“Umm a world without gems” Spike lied, giving her a sheepish smile.
Twilight let out a laugh as she poke his stomach “Spike you really need to stop thinking of your stomach sometimes” she said as she got off his bed.
“Yea I know” Spike said smiling, but the truth was he didn’t want to tell her the truth, since he knew she would worry about him and she had too much important stuff to do for something like a bad dream…well a lot of bad dreams. Spike has been having dreams of this Naruto guy for a long time now, they were all about him and his life, he knew everything about him, when the Kyuubi was sealed in him, when he Zabuza, the chunin exam, beating Shukaku, Sasuke leaving, his training, fighting Pein, gaining the Kyuubi’s chakra, the war, Madara, Obito, the Sage of Six Paths, all of it, all coming up to his recent dreams of him fighting and sealing Kaguya within himself, and now this dream of his friend once again betraying him. He thought that this Naruto guy was some kind of hero who always got the raw end of the deal, he had the Kyuubi sealed in him but wasn’t treated like a hero, he loved a girl, but she didn’t love him 'I know how that feels', and the one closest to him, the one he thought of as family, betrayed him once again. He thought he and Naruto were a lot alike, they were full of good nature, always wanting to prove themselves, protect those they hold dear, and they both loved good pranks, but Spike figured the only differences between them were that Naruto was strong and he was weak, Spike was a dragon and he was something called a human, and Spike knew that none of his friends would ever betray him like Sasuke did. Spike decided to get off the thought of his dreams and change the topic with Twilight “So why are you all dressed up?” he ask knowing she only wore the dress for important stuff.
“Remember Spike, Princess Celestia wants all Princesses present today” she said excitedly “there is going to be a treaty signing with not only Gryphon kingdom of the east and Zebra kingdoms to the east, but with the dragons as well. If this goes well, all spices will be living together in harmony, living in the same towns, helping one another, and trading of goods, just think of all the new additions to the library we will have and…”
Spike just rolled his eye and stop listening, cause when Twilight goes on about books it goes on forever, but he was happy for her, what bigger achievement for the Princess of Friendship and Harmony, then bringing harmony between four races, he had to also talk to Zecora about this, she would be thrilled to know more of her race was coming to Equestria. Spike then thought that if Gryphons began living here, then wouldn't Rainbow Dash's friend Gilda be coming back, she didn't seem to like idea of any of us being Dash's friend ,maybe this treaty will make her see that we can all be friends or at least lower that attitude she has, it probably would make RD very happy. Spike saw that Twilight was still going on about the library and knowing her she would want to go early and not want to be late, being her number one assistant he would make sure she was on time “Shouldn’t you get going now?” he ask snapping Twilight out of her book rant.
“Oh my gosh your right” she said in a panic, she then smiled and gave him a hug before her horn glowed a purple light “I’ll see you later Spike, don’t cause any trouble while I’m gone”.
“When do I ever cause trouble?” Spike question while smiling, Twilight gave him a look before teleporting to Canterlot, Spike decided to get up and put on some clothes, he dawned a light purple shirt with a green flame design on it, a purple jacket, and grey pants. Spike went down stairs, the castle part was connected to a rebuilt library, as he went through the shelves he search for information on Naruto’s world, humans, jutsu, anything that would have a connection to the guy, but no such luck ‘Oh well I guess I’ll tell Twilight when she gets back and then she can help or ask mom if she knows’ he thought as figured he’d have to tell her sooner or later. He look at the time and saw that it was really early in the morning ‘Well there's not much to do here, I guess I’ll go see if any of the others need any help, Applejack should be up about now’ Spike then went out the door and headed to Sweet Apple Acres, as he walk down the streets of Ponyville he saw that not many ponies were up and he gave a heavy sigh “Maybe I should just go back to sleep, it really is too early”. He then started to think of his friends and compared them with Naruto’s friends, Applejack was Sakura with her incredible strength, Fluttershy was Hinata with her shyness, Rarity was Ino with the over concern for her looks, Rainbow Dash was Rock Lee, she may have been a girl, but she talk about being awesome as much as he talk about youth, Pinkie Pie was…damn no could match Pinkie’s craziness. Twilight was kind of like Shizune, dedicated to her work and her teacher, so Celestia would be like Tsunade, she was the ruler and very strong, she also had very large ‘SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!! End of comparing, just focus on getting to Sweet apple Acres and not on your supposed mother’s breast…DAMN IT!!!’ passing ponies stared as they saw Spike blushing and fuming as he muttered something that sounded like ‘Not a pervert, not a pervert…’.
“Help” Spike snap out of his thoughts as he heard someone call out, he look around to see where the voice was coming from “Somepony please help me”.
He turned as he heard the voice coming from the alley on his left, he walk down the and saw a mare with cuts and bruises on her, being the noble kind dragon he was he had to help her “Are you alright miss?” he said as kneed down beside her “Hang on I’m gonna get you some help”.
“Oh I’m not the one who needs help” she said, Spike flinch when he saw her eyes glow green “You do” her voice had changed to a male one, then next thing Spike knew he was tackled from behind and had his arms held behind his back, looking back his eyes widen seeing they were Changelings, there was no forgetting the dark skinned, blue eyed, insect like creatures, they wore rag like clothing with holes in them similar to the ones on their arms and legs. Spike look forward and saw the mare get up and in a green flash she changed into another changeling “Looks like we caught ourselves a dragon” he said as he crossed his arm.
“What are you creeps doing her?” Spike ask as he tried to struggle out of their grip, but to no avail “I thought Cadence and Shining Armor’s magic sent you all away”.
“It did, but we survived for a time” the Changeling in front of him said with a sad look, the other two dawned a similar look “after we were forces out of Canterlot, we lost track of our Queen and we slowly began to die of hungry, now there is only a handful of us left, and we still don’t know where our Queen is”. Spike for a moment thought they desired it, but he had to think what it was like to loss not only your mother, but your entire race that was your family, he couldn’t understand nor relate to how they must feel, for the first time, he felt something other than anger and disgust for the Changelings, he felt pity and sadness for them. The Changeling’s then dawned an angry look “We blame Cadence, Shining Armor, the princesses, the Elements of Harmony, and you for our losses, but we can’t take our revenge on any of them with how few and weak we are from hunger, so were going to cause some indirect pain to their hearts, starting with you” the Changeling’s horn began to glow and light envelop it’s body “and what better pain to the heart…” when the light died down Spike’s eyes widen, standing front of him was an exact copy of himself with an evil smirk “than betrayal” his voice coming out the copy’s mouth “Nighty night dragon” the fake spike pulled it’s fist back and punch Spike in the head, then everything went black.
Spike open his eyes and instantly felt pain in his face, he quickly remember what had transpired before he was knock out, he got up and heard screaming all around the town, he slowly walk out of the alley and his eyes widen with shock. “W-what happened?” he ask in disbelief, the practically the entire town was on fire, but not just any fire, this one was green like the one he produced, Spike realized what the Changelings had done, they impersonated him and torched the village, but what would this accomplish “I’ll figure that out later, I have to help everyone” he then went to go down the street, until he saw someone, he smiled seeing that it was Twilight “Twilight, boy am I glad to see you, something has happen and—”.
“Your right something has happen” Twilight interrupted in an angry tone, her horn began to glow and purple magic chains appeared, wrapping around his body, restricting his movements and bringing him to his knees, Spike look at her with shock and confused eyes as he saw tears streaming down her face “Spike you under arrest for destroying Ponyville, hurting innocent ponies, and betraying my trust”.
Spike just stared at her in disbelief, she actually thought he did this, this is what the changelings wanted for them to think he betrayed them and but in reality he was the one being betrayed ‘T-this can’t be happening’ he thought as Twilight literally dragged him back to the castle, as Spike tried tell her he didn't do it, something deeper was happening within him.
Two gigantic figures and a regular sized one watch as Spike was being treated like a criminal by his very own sister figure “Seems like the kid’s life is in for a change or just going into hell again” one of the large figures said, it’s voice was male, but in a monstrous tone, he look over to the small figure “I have showed you his life before and now, I know what I am going to do, but I’ll ask you again, what will you do?”
“Well, I have no other choice” the small figure said in a female voice as she shrugged “I can’t go anywhere, nor can I return to our world without help, so I will help the young dragon, I want to see if he can perform miracles here as he did back home” both figures turned to the third figure “What about you?”
“I’m going to wait” the giant figure said in male voice, but a different tone than the first figure, it continued watching Spike try to plead with the purple pony “I want to see what he will become from these turn of events and if he is worthy of the blood that flows through his veins, only then will I share my full power with him” a smirk formed on his face showing his fangs "it will be interesting to see who he becomes, considering who he was”.
