Those tapas of yours were absolutely maarrvelous,” Rarity purred with a smile. “Thanks, but Spike deserves all the praise here. I just bought what he told me to get at the market,” Twilight said, and Spike’s cheeks heated when Rarity bestowed a smile and some more praise upon him and called him “Spikey-wikey”. “We should have a party celebrating this excellent party!” Pinkie said, and some streamers (seemingly coming from nowhere) flew around her as she raised her forelegs into the air with a huge smile. “Yes, uhm...you’re always welcome, all of you,” the purple alicorn said with a smile. “Good! And next time, we’ll make it even more awesome!” Rainbow Dash said, gave both Twilight and Spike (whose face then turned even redder) a hug each, and sailed out the door on her wings. “Uhm, yes...it was really nice,” Fluttershy said in her usual low voice. Twilight closed the door to the library with sigh. She was a bit tired now, as the time had long since passed midnight, and Luna’s Moon had already traveled more than half way over the night sky. But then again, it wasn’t everyday somepony Ascended and became an Alicorn, and this was the first opportunity the six friends had had to celebrate, just the six of them (or rather seven when one included Spike). “Some party, huh,” Spike said, sounding equally tired as he picked up a couple of the cider bottles AJ had brought, and which they’d emptied earlier. “Yeah, and it was a good one. In no small part thanks to you, my little chef,” Twilight said and gave the little dragon a hug with her wing. “Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it,” he said with a smile and hugged her back. “And I can’t remember how many times Rarity said ‘mmm!’ or ‘maarrvelous’ or ‘absolutely devine!’,” Twilight said, trying to mimic the fashionista's voice. Spike’s face turned puce, and Twilight giggled. She hugged him again as a wordless apology, and noticed she felt more than a bit lightheaded. Ah, well, AJ did bring the hard cider...the one from the Apple Family Private Stash, Twilight thought to herself. “Just leave it, Spike. We can clean up together tomorrow,” Twilight offered. “Okay…” he said and sighed with relief. He had been working hard all day, and while Twilight had helped him in the kitchen, making enough tapas to feed six ponies and a small dragon was no small feat. They left the rest of the mess and turned off the lamps. Twilight did pick up and replace a book on one of the shelves that had fallen down when Pinke had started dancing on the table, but otherwise they left everything as they were. While Spike could (and usually would) hit the sheets immediately, Twilight would use some time in front of the vanity, removing her makeup, brushing her fur, mane and tail as well as (now she’d Ascended) preen her wings. Twilight stopped next to his bed. “Thanks again for the delicious food, Spike. You really outdid yourself,” she said and gave him a small peck on the cheek before she proceeded to her vanity. Spike stood for awhile, hand on the cheek she’d kissed. She didn’t normally do this, and his cheeks heated slightly again. “Urh...you’re welcome, Twi,” he managed. “Um, do you need help with anything?” he added as her brushes began floating in her magic to curry her fur, and from the looks of it, they were doing a rather poor job. Twilight turned with a smile. “Yeah...I think I’ve had a bit too much of AJ’s cider to levitate more than one thing accurately,” she said and gave him one of the brushes. He started working the currycomb, and Twilight mmm’ed at his ministrations and closed her eyes. “You know, if you hand me the other currycomb, it would be a lot faster,” he said, and Twilight complied with a flush, and sent the other comb, that she’d just let float in the air while enjoying his ministrations, into his other claw. Thus equipped, he started working on her fur in earnest, and Twilight had to admit to herself that he did a much better job of it than she did, even if he didn’t have any fur himself. “Mmm...ahh....” she moaned, “this is just as good...no, better than a trip to the spa.” “I’m glad you like it,” he said with a smile. He started with her neck, then her forelegs and then he moved down her back and then to her sides, starting with her cutiemarks. “Uhm, could you lift your wi-whoa!” he said as her wings suddenly sprung out by themselves. “Uhm...never mind...I guess you knew where I was going next,” he added. “I...urh...yeah…” she said, turning her head away so he couldn’t see her blush. So this was how it was like. She hadn’t had this happen to her before, but Rainbow had told her about it. And what it meant. Spike squatted beside her, putting a hand on the base of her wing for support as he started on her belly fur. “Mmmm...oooh….” she said and tried to force herself to breathe steadily. “You okay?” he asked. “Urh…*sigh*...yes...please go on...you’re...eh...doing a good job,” she managed. Twilight actually thought he did more than a good job, and she kept on trying not to pant loudly. The brush accidentally stroke one of her teats when he started moving from her chest to her belly, and she sucked in some air between her teeth. Spike stopped and rose to look at her. “Urh...did the currycomb hit a snag in the fur?” he asked. “Urh....ehm…” she said turned an even darker shade of red. “Something wrong?” he asked when she wouldn’t look at him. “I...erh...maybe you’ve…*sigh* done enough...urh…*sigh*...you must be tired…” she said desperately. They’d always been friends, and in some ways he’d been very much like a second brother to her. And siblings didn’t...do those kind of things… But what had he done? He’d only helped her currying herself. And had curried her sensitive cutiemarks, touched one of her equally sensitive wings and lightly brushed a very sensitive nipple. “Nah, it’s alright, Twi,” she heard him say. “I’ll try and be more careful with your belly fur from now on…” “No!!!” she said and grabbed his hand with her magic, all but yanking him up. “I...erh...mean...you don’t have to do that...you erh...already did so much today,” she quickly added. “Twilight is something wrong? You act all strange, and your head is starting to be more red than purple,” he said and stopped dangling his feet when she gently put him down. “I uhm...isn’t it a bit hot in here. Yeah...I’ll...I’ll open the window” she hastily said, did so and quickly stepped over to let the cool night air hit her face. “Uhm...if you say so,” Spike said, a little confused. She took some deep breaths, trying to calm herself. She almost succeeded when he spoke again. “Urh, Twi? I think you must’ve sat on one of Pinkie’s cakes or something...your tail looks all sticky. Want me to get you some hot water and soap?” Twilight’s heart skipped a beat, and she turned to look at him. “I…” she tried but the next words died in her throat. What should she say? For some time, they stood quietly, looking at each other, none of them sure of what to say. “Urh, Spike, I…” Twilight said, finally breaking the silence between them. “Yes?” “Uhm...maybe...maybe we should just go to bed, yep...let’s take care of everything in the morning eh-heh…” she said and quickly trotted towards her bed. “But what about your tail?” he asked. “It’s fine,” she said. “But you’ll get frosting in your bed and…” “No, really, it’s fine,” Twilight insisted and pulled back her covers. “No, let me get…” he said and grabbed for her tail. “No thanks, I said it’s fine!” she snapped. “Sorry...I must be a bit tired…” “O-okay…” he said. He noticed he’d gotten some of the frosting on his claw, and stuck out his tongue to remove it, thinking that Pinkie’s frosting shouldn’t go to waste. Salty frosting? He’d never tasted salty frosting before. “Urh Twi, this frosting in your tail, it’s salty,” he said, and Twilight froze with one foreleg on the mattress. She turned an impossible shade of puce and ever so slowly turned to look at him. “Uhm...Spike...I...I’m afraid that isn’t frosting…” she admitted. “Oh, then what is it?” he said and licked his claw again. “Tastes okay, actually,” he added. “Gotta ask Pinkie about this tomo-...” “NO!” Twilight shouted, eyes wide. “Why not…” “Because....Pinkie didn’t make this. I did,” she said. He looked puzzled at her. She sighed, but decided to lay down her cards. “Uhm...when you were currying me, I...uhm...it felt really good. Really, really good,” she started. “Okaaay…” “And...I started feeling...aroused,” she admitted, the last word a mere whisper. Silence hung between them again, but this time Spike was the one to end it. “I...did I do something I shouldn’t? I mean I’m sorry if I…you know…” he said. “Well...it did feel good, actually,” she said, daring to look at him only for a split second and then she looked at the floor again. “Urh...would...would you like me to do it again?” he asked. They looked at each other again, both of them beet-red in the face. “Y-yes…” she got out. He picked up the brushes, and started to curry her again. She almost immediately started sighing again, feeling the brushes massage her gently on her cutiemarks. She spun around, no longer able to contain herself, and placed her muzzle over his, kissing him passionately. At first he was about to pull back his head in shock, but a strong hoof held his head in place. But soon he started enjoying it, and then he started kissing her back. “Mmmm….we *kiss* probably shouldn’t do this,” he said. “I know *kiss*, but *kiss* I want you so *kiss* much” she said. “Mmm...me too…*kiss* it also feels…*kiss* right,” he said. No more was said between them as they started kissing each other even more. The currycombs fell to the floor, no longer needed, and she pulled him over to her bed. She lifted both of them with her magic and placed them on her bed with him on top. “You sure you want to do this?” she asked. “Yes,” he answered. “Although I haven’t tried it before,” he admitted. “Me neither,” she said. “But I’ve read about it.” He looked at her with a smile. That’s my egghead as Rainbow would put it, he thought. They lay for awhile together, enjoying their afterglow. There had been some initial fumbling and giggling, but then they’d gotten the hang of it and also been able to compensate for their different bodies. They’d decided to take things slow, using a lot of time to fondle, caress and examine each other’s bodies. Then more petting, followed by Twilight telling him how to please her orally and finally she’d helped him enter her (after some more fumbling and mutual amusement) and then they’d achieved orgasm almost simultaneously. Spike looked up from where he’d rested his head between her forelegs. They looked at each other with a lazy smile and shared another kiss. “Behold, Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Great Dragon-Layer!” he said with a snigger, and she turned red and giggled. “Yep, that’s me. The Dragon-Layer,” she admitted, and then they settled down to snuggle and fall asleep.
