Trixie looked out towards Celestia’s rising sun as she continued to walk down the dirt road pulling her caravan along with her at her slow and tired pace. The blue mare had been walking all night from her previous destination after getting an urgent letter from the new princess of friendship Twilight Sparkle. The letter had commanded her to come to the castle of the princess of friendship as quickly as she could manage so that she may have a meeting of the utmost importance with the princess. Trixie although being terrified of the messages letter did not doddle in her hoofsteps, but she could still only imagine of what Twilight wished to speak with her so urgently, the only thing that came to mind was that she was being summoned back to Ponyville to finally be punished for her actions in the past.

She let out a long tired sigh, her face filling with sadness at her thoughts of what punishment she would ultimately be given, would she be turned to stone, sent to the moon for a thousand years, or even possibly be sent to Tartarus right away. Ever since her past experience with the Alicorn Amulet Trixie had been waiting for this day to come, but maybe she could convince Twilight that she had indeed changed since then, because well…she has! Ever since the said incident Trixie had been doing nothing but good, she had been preforming free shows for fillies and colts, she’d been helping other ponies around her journey as the new mare she had become. Trixie had even realized her passion for her stories and magic again through the kindness of the ponies that she had been meeting.

Through her thinking Trixie had not realized that she was almost in Ponyville, she could only think of all the hated looks that she would soon get from the other ponies. There might even be line of all the ponies in Ponyville leading to twilights new castle who would scream their hurtful slurs and through things at her until she would meet up with Twilight who would give her a greater humiliation. But she was not going to let her final moments be with a sad face, Trixie looked towards the town that was a mere trot away and held her head high ready for anything.

“Come on Trixie! You will not go out a coward!” she tried to encourage herself with her words but they only seemed to discourage her more as she entered the beautiful and flourishing place that was Ponyville.

Trixie trotted confidently with her caravan through the busy town full of ponies who had already started their businesses and errands for the day, little fillies and colts were running around her not seeming to mind her presence, matter of fact it seemed like no pony minded her being their it was almost like she was invisible, just like she was a regular pony in the crowd of the early morning. All of this only seemed to encourage her as her trot quickened to the pristine crystal castle of Twilight Sparkle with a determined expression mixed with sadness. She really needed to get to the castle now because if the inhabitants of Ponyville didn’t seem to mind her or were just simply ignoring her knowing her what her fate would ultimately be, she had to find out!

After her brief run through Ponyville she had finally made it to the castle, Trixie looked up at in amazement it was just simply beautiful with is crystalline structure and had the most warm and welcoming feeling to it she continued to move onwards towards the large open doors not even seeing to two guards standing on either side of the doors.

“Halt!” Trixie jumped from the stallions booming voice and cowered as she just now noticed them both. The two were wearing the same purple and copper trimmed armor that brandished Twilight Sparkel’s cutie mark on the chest plate, both of them were also holding spears that had the blade also in the same shape, Trixie could only imagine what that could do to a pony!

“State your business!” the pony on her left seemed to scream at her with his booming voice, he was a Pegasus she could plainly see with a very stern face that went well with his dark grey coat and what seemed to be a black mane poking through his helmet and his red eyes only added to his mean look, she glanced at the other pony who was a unicorn seeing if she was getting the same stern look. But all she saw was the unicorn stallion looking as if he was trying not to laugh and not look at her, tears looking as if they were going to escape from his green eye an onto his blue coat as brief silent giggles escaped him, this only puzzled Trixie.

“Well! What do you think you are doing at the castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle!” Trixie jumped again.

“I…well…I was… the Princess s…sent for T…Tri..Trixie…” she began to cower even more now as the Pegasus guard seemed to tower over her in anger, this all seemed to last forever until the Pegasus muzzle began to quiver with little giggles until he burst into a powerful laugh making his whole exterior seem to soften with delight, the other guard joined him in his laughter almost falling to the ground as he did so. This all only confused Trixie as she sat upon the ground watching in disbelief at the two laughing stallions

“HAHAHAHA….I’m sorry, the princess is expecting you..!!!” the Pegasus stallion laughed “it’s just we haven’t seen a new pony in town for a while and we had to play the old ‘mean guard routine’ just to have some laughs…HAHA, I hope I didn’t scare you too much Miss”

Trixie’s jaw seemed to drop at what he said to her as the two kept on laughing, both almost crying in the process.

“But…but why would you scare ponies like that! You nearly gave Trixie a heart attack!!”

“Sorry miss it’s just at our old jobs in Canterlot, everything was always so serious, but here in Ponyville everything is just so relaxed and fun under Princess Twilights command, and once we heard a new pony was coming we had to do something!” the Pegasus laugh slightly while talking and finally held out his hoof to help Trixie up from the ground as he continued talking. “Now if you would please follow me Miss Trixie, I will escort you to the Princess while spectrum over their will take good care of your caravan. The stallion pointed over to the other unicorn who was still laughing making his pink mane from his helmet bob back and forth as he made his way over to Trixie helping her out of her hold of the caravan and then taking it off to somewhere behind the castle. Trixie was a little concerned, she never left her caravan in any pony else’s hooves but as she was about to say something the Pegasus gestured for her to follow him.

“This way Miss Trixie, we shouldn’t keep the Princess waiting.”

Trixie marveled at the beautiful corridor that the stallion guided her down, crystal walls, beautiful painting depicting the Princesses as well as Twilight Sparkles friends. Everything just seemed to be too perfect and carefully placed at every corner and entryway that they passed. It wasn’t long before Trixie began to hear two familiar voices speaking from the last large entryway that was partially open to reveal six large thrones facing each other in a large circular room, Trixie would have marveled at the beautiful room from the doorway more but her attention was quickly grabbed by the two ponies speaking to one another, she recognized them both imminently to be Rainbow dash And Princess Twilight and listened for a brief moment to their words as they spoke.

“I just don’t know Twilight… I mean I’m super honored and it would be awesome….but…”

“don’t worry Dash I know that I have asked a lot from you by requesting this…and I want you to think on it as long as you need too…” Twilight closed the gap between herself and her friend placing a reassuring hoof on her shoulder and giving her a kind smile. “but I would never ask you to give up your dreams for anything and that’s why this need to be what you want…and I’ll be with you with which ever choice you make.”

The guard let out a slight cough to clear the silence as he opened the door with a push and spoke loudly and clearly.

“Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Lady Trixie Lulamoon has arrived”

Twilight turned hearing the guard as Rainbow dash moved passed her with a smile towards the princess

“Well I’ll think on it Twilight, I’ll see ya” and with that Rainbow dash flew lazily into the air and passed Trixie and the guard beside her.

“Please come in Trixie, lieutenant glider would you please excuse us.” With that the Pegasus Bowed to the Princess and closed the door leaving the two mares to themselves in the large throne room.

Everything was silent for a brief moment until Twilight spoke.

“Hello Trixie it’s very nice seeing you.”

Trixie grew confused not knowing if she was serious or not but looking at the Princesses beaming smile it seemed to be true. But was it just because Twilight was happy to be about to punish her for her past. She kept silent until the nagging of her brain and thoughts of banishments and punishments would not stop within her mind until she finally took a calming breath and bowed to the Princess

“Forgive me Princess Twilight Sparkle. But why have you summoned me so urgently!” Trixie’s voice shook somewhat but she retained her composure with the utmost respect. And with this Twilights smile slightly faded as she walked over to Trixie helping her up from her bow and then placing his hoof under her chin and then pulling away from her as she finally captured the mares gaze towards her.

“I’m glad you asked Trixie, the reason why you’re here is because I need to discuss something very important with you.”
