Sleeping inside the house with a weirdly bright shine, was the cream colored earth pony Bonbon and the mint colored unicorn Lyra. The two had been happily married and living together for a bit over two years.       The two were sleeping sweetly in there bed together, however that was easily changed when the sunshine entered the bedroom through their window. The light managed to get right into Lyra's face, forcing her to get up. "Ugh. Dumb sun always waking me up like this." Lyra then noticed that not only was Bonbon not getting as assaulted by the sun ,but that she was also somehow still asleep. The mint green mare poked Bonbon. "Hey sleepyhead time to wake  up." Bonbon simply gave a moan and remained asleep.     After seeing her poke was in vain Lyra gave a deadpan expression. She then put both hooves on Bonbon's back shaking her trying to wake her up. "Bonbon wake up!" After a few seconds of this Bonbon did wake up. As she woke up she let out a noise that apparently startled Lyra, as seeing as when she heard the noise s he accidently pushed Bonbon off the bed.      A few moments after a thud sound, and Lyra laying down on her belly stuck in a expression of sheer amazement, Bonbon climbed back onto the bed wearing a surprisingly playful expression. She got on her belly and got her face close to Lyra's. "You know if you wanted to wake me up, you could have been polite about it." Bonbon then planted a kiss on Lyra's snout and made her way down into the ould have told her off right there but she decided to let Bonbon have her good morning. Besides the kiss helped her let it slide.     12 P.M      Lyra had been inside the house all day with nothing to do. That alone should tell you how bored she was, but if it didn't allow me to give some more examples.  Lyra didn't have a gig today and had to spend most of the day in the living room part of the house, and couldn't visit the store half until Bonbon's work day was over which was at 5pm, and after a bit of looking around the house she realized that the two of them didn't have anything to pass time.      It took about half an hour Lyra had given up looking for entertainment, and decided to just look outside and enjoy whatever was thrown in front of her. After a little bit of waiting two colts walked on to the front of there house. Aw. That's cute. Lyra thought to herself, it had seemed they were playing hoof ball or something. As Lyra watched a small smile crept up on her face. Watching the two colts made her remember what it was like to be young. To be free and go where you want with no responsibilities to worry about.       The more she watched them the more memories swirled back into her head. She remembered all the times she played outside with her parents. The feeling of having the warm sunlight caress her fur. The excitement of playing outside with her parents, as well as other fillies and colts.    Although alongside the normal nostalgia she usually got when she saw two foals playing, she got this other feeling. This feeling of wanting something, but what was that something? A sandwhich? No that wasn't it. It was like a want for something she didn't even know she wanted until right now. Could it be? Was she finally ready for the responsibilities of- "Hi!" Lyra practically jumped up to the ceiling from shock. She turned around to see who was responsible for her almost heart attack...even though she  already knew.    Lyra turned around to find Bonbon standing there, with her cute little smirk of victory on her face. "Oh hah hah." That was the first comment Lyra could manage to get out.   "Hah hah is right. That was hilarious and you know it." Bonbon always had a more of a prankster side to her in the afternoon. Bonbon knew that Lyra found it fun, even though she tried to act like she hated it.    Lyra gave Bonbon a unamused look before returning her attention to the two colts playing outside. This made Bonbon curious as it was rather odd for the mint mare to do this. "Hey is everything ok?"    Lyra just continued to watch the two little colts play. "Yea I'm fine." Surprisingly enough Lyra was pretty exceptional at telling lies. The truth was that Lyra was starting to crave something, and it wasn't any kind of food or sweet. No what Lyra was starting to crave was mothership. 7  P.M     It was dinner time in the household of Bonbon and Lyra, and the candy mare had cooked one of the green unicorns favorite meals, fried potato chunks. As Bonbon took them out of the oven she dumped them all out onto one big dinner plate. "Lyra dinner!"      Lyra was still sitting in the living room thinking about what happened earlier today. She had managed to move herself away from the window, and move over onto the couch. However her thoughts were interrupted by Bonbon calling her for dinner. As she got up Lyra let out a sigh. "Maybe some food will help me clear my head."    Lyra walked from the living room into the kitchen. The closer she got to Bonbon the greater the smell of the potatoes got. Lyra headed to the back of the kitchen which was where the oven was located. The lyre playing mare walked to Bonbon and planted a kiss right on her muzzle. "Dinner smells great honey."    Bonbon smiled at the compliment from her wife. "Why thank you Lyra! I know that these are your favorite." Bonbon grabbed a two plates and sat them on the table.    As Bonbon set the plates on the table, Lyra used her magic to move the potatoes onto the plates. "And what did I do that was so special to earn such a special dinner?" Lyra asked with a playful tone.   "Well you didn't do anything to special. I just thought you were having a bad day, and needed cheering up." Bonbon took her plate that had her prefered amount of potatoes on it, and sat down at the seat she normally sat in.     Lyra was filling up her plate with the delicious fried potato chunks. She left a little left on the main plate, just incase Bonbon wanted seconds. It was then Bonbon's statement started to process. "What made you think I was having a bad day?" Lyra took the only other seat which was the one next to Bonbon.      Bonbon looked a bit puzzled at Lyra's question. "What made me think you were having a bad day?" The cream colored mare asked rhetorically. "Normally when I sneak up on you we have a good laugh. But today you pushed me away. Thats why I thought you were in a bad mood."   Bonbon's statement was very snappy. She only got like that when she was ticked. Knowing she made her significant other upset made Lyra feel just dreadful. "Oh...im sorry. I guess my mind was in another place." Lyra looked down to the ground trying to avoid eye contact.      Bonbon brought a hoof to Lyra's chin. "Come on now. There is no reason to get upset over this. You didn't mean to, and I forgive you." Bonbon brought Lyra into a hug.      As she was hugged Lyra felt a smile creep over her face. After a few seconds Lyra embarrassed the hug, and wrapped her hooves around the pink and blue maned mare. But she then remembered what she was so deep in thought about earlier. The musical mare felt that it be only right that she tell Bonbon what she was thinking. "B-bonbon." Worry consumed most of Lyra's voice.    Bonbon broke the hug, and gave Lyra full eye contact, and her undivided attention. The tone in her wife's voice troubled her. "What is it? Is something wrong?"    Lyra didn't know how to react to that question. "What? Yes everything is fine but...uh." The mint unicorn had no idea how to tell the candy making mare what was on her mind. "The thing is that..." Every time she thought she had the words to explain it, it was like they flew any from her before she could speak them. At this point Lyra was visibly flustered as well.   As Lyra was trying to find the words to explain her thoughts, Bonbon was just watching her think about how silly this all looked. Gosh look at her. Poor thing is flustered about something obviously. Hmm maybe I can help. Bonbon then leaned into Lyra. She took her lips and had them meet with the musical mare's.    Lyra's eyes opened fully' and she sat up a bit straight. But as the kiss went on she relaxed a bit, she let her eyes shut, and she even started to calm down a bit. After a few more seconds the kiss broke, and both of the mares looked at each other with the look of love.    After that kiss Lyra finally felt confident enough to say what she had been trying to say all dinner long. "I want to have a foal."   It took a moment for Bonbon to fully process her statement. "A-a foal?... How would we...? The candy mare's pause was interrupted by Lyra.   "I know it'll be a bit harder for us. Especially since neither of us are stallions, but I think we can make it work." Lyra held Bonbon's hoof as she said this. She looked deep into the cream colored mare's eyes.      Bonbon knew this look, it was the look Lyra had given her only a few times in their relationship. Once when Lyra asked her for her hoof in marriage,  the second time was when she wanted to have sex for the first time, but Bonbon needed a bit of convincing. The most recent time was when Bonbon was letting the stress of her new candy shop get to her. The more she thought about it the more she realized that Lyra has always been there for her, and maybe this was how she could show her appreciation for all the things Lyra has done for her. "Alright Lyra. Let's have a baby!"
