While at a Convention, a man cosplaying as Braum is sucked into Equestria because of a mustache
While at the Chicago Comic-con, I was cosplaying as Braum when I found an item that would complete my look. This item transported me to the world of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and all I want to do now is help as much as a can to people in this world and make sure that all works out.
Which obviously dosent happen Once I enter this world I stop a terrible crime, and get confronted by the royal guard of the Crystal empire.

This is the first day of the 2014 Chicago Comic-con, the greatest place for nerds to gather in the Chicago land area. This was going to be my 10th year going to this convention and my 5th year cosplaying. I loved these few days of my twenty-five year old life. For a while I’ve been waiting to do a cosplay of a video game character from League of Legends, and I finally got the equipment to do such a thing. I was going to the Con as Braum, The Heart of the Freljord. Everything I needed I had to complete the costume, the shield, the muscle suit, and the clothes….well….almost everything. The Mustache, over all my years of living I could never successfully grow a mustache.
The whole mustache thing aside I went to the Con and had a whale of a time! I got pictures and autographs from many famous people like Stan Lee and Martin Freemen. While walking down the hall on my way to the snack bar, something from a stand caught my eye…..a mustache. Not just any mustache, the one that would complete my look one-hundred percent. “Ah Braum,” Called the vendor, “I see you are missing something crucial to your look.” Hmmm he’s referring me to my character, might as well play along!
“Indeed I am sir,” I responded in my closest impressing to him, “An exciting battle with Sivir cost me my mustache and there is a match in a few short minutes, no time to grow one so I came here looking for one to suffice until mine grows back.”
“Yes Sivir is a strong one”
“She was, now how much does the item cost?”
“Five dollars.” Oh sweet it’s cheap, cool and completes my costume. I practically shoved the bill into his hand a grabbed the mustache.
“This day just keeps getting better and better!” I shouted at myself, so caught up in the steal I just made not noticing the floor around me getting covered in frost. After doing a little Braum dance (which took FOREVER to learn and do), I noticed that it was beginning to snow. “How is it snowing in this burning convention center?”
A rumbling began to start and shock the entire convention center. People began to scream and run like a chicken with its head cut off. I too was about to run when I noticed that my foot was covered in ice, holding me down on the spot as a crevasse was opening right under my feet. I was also freaking out at this time, screaming for help and trying to force my foot out of the ice. The crevasse was getting bigger and bigger coming straight at me. Realizing that trying to get out was useless, I stopped trying closed my eyes and waited for the sweet release of death. I felt the floor fall out under me and nothing else.

I felt cold.
Which is surprising seeing as I should be dead. Opening my eyes I could see that before me wasn’t in a deep hole in the ground, but a strong blizzard with powerful winds. While getting up something felt…..off. Like I could take on a bulldozer and win. Once I had fully stood up, I saw a shining city in the distance, a place I could possibly call sanctuary.
Trudging in the deep snow wasn’t the problem, the problem was I had no idea of my location. The only information that could be gathered is that I am in a place cold and has a lot of blizzards. The Alps? The Himalayas? Canada? Still no clue on where I was, moving towards the city was my only goal at the moment.
A time which felt like eternity had passed and I was at the city gate, made entirely out of crystal. “Hmmm, this is beautiful indeed but nothing compared to the icecaps of Braum’s home!” I beamed…..wait…did I just refer to myself as Braum? While looking around for a reflective surface, I got a good look at myself.
My hands were big and meaty, I had abs beyond compare, I was taller than before (Don’t ask how I know, I can just tell), and I had a thick accent of some kind. Finding a mirror like crystal, I looked at it not seeing my own face….but that of Braum’s. “This is amazing, I am now Braum!!” I said shouting into the wind.
While relishing in my new fit body, a scream rang out. My head shot to where it originated, and saw a horse being backed into the corner by two other horses clad in armor. Something in my head told me to go get help, though that was completely negated by another instinct telling me to take action. And I did.
I got in close enough to where I feel that I could jump to the horse and protect it with ease. “Please, don’t hurt me!” Shouted the possibly feminine horse being backed into the corner, "she" had tan crystal like skin with a blue mane and a marking on "her" rear of a frying pan and spatula. . “Oh we won’t hurt you,” Said the possible male horse backing the possible female into the corner, "he" had bat wings with dark skin accompanied by a black mane and a marking on "his" rear of a long sword and a sheild, “We just wanna have some fun, isn’t that right Feather Storm?”
“Indeed we do Nightshade,” Said the other possible male horse to the other possible…..ok forget it, the horses in armor are males CONFIRMED…… Male horse, that had green skin with a white mane that also had a horn and a marking that looked like the Morellonomicon, “So let’s have some fun shall we?” The Male horses got closer and closer to the female horse laughing evilly as the got closer.
“SOMEPONY, ANYPONY, HELP!!!!!!!!!” Cried out the female. Rape? Not on my watch you sick fucks! I jumped right between the female and the two males, not caring at all that they were all talking horses (proboby beacuse of Braum just protecting whoever needs help), surprising all three of them. The males tried to escape, emphasis on tried, as I grabbed their throats and held them close to my face.
“If you ever, EVER, try to rape somebo……somepony ever again……you’ll be eating food through a tube.” I snarled at them, their eyes went big and their mouths agape. Throwing them on the ground I turned my back to them as I counted down from 5…4…3…2…1. . . BAM a large magic beam hit me in the back moved me forward five feet. Hearing panting, I could tell that one of them put a lot of energy into the attack. I got up turned around to see puddles forming under the males.
They screamed and ran off shouting “MONSTER” as loud as they could. Laughing I turned around to see the female cowering in the corner in the fetal position. “Don’t be afraid little horse, those bad horses are gone now…. You are safe with Braum.” She looked up to me, eyes red from the tears she wept, breathing heavy and responded with two words….

She began to trot past me, waving as she left returning home with the image of her savior implanted in her mind. I left the location as well, rounding the corner to face not only the rapists……but also an army right behind them.
Well this is fantastic, I stop rape right before it happens and the culprits go running off to grab their buddies claiming that I’M evil. If I’m going to fix this ill need to take the diplomatic approach. Walking over to the group of ponies, I mentally prepare myself on what to say and what to do if things go wrong.
“Hello there little ponies,” I shouted with a broad smile upon my face, “My name is Braum, how are you today?” All of them were stunned at my response, mouths agape and eyes wide. They probably half expected me to charge and attack, good thing I proved them wrong.
One pony stepped forward in front of the others, possibly a higher ranking. This one had a body made of blue crystal with shining transparent armor, and a marking of a scroll and shield were on this pony’s side.
“ *Ahem* Two of my guards came shouting to me saying that you attacked them out of the blue for no reason at all, is this true?” The male pony inquired.
“Ah, yes it is true I attacked them,” A smirk appeared on the face of those rapists, thinking that they had won, “But what they didn’t tell you was that my attack only happened because THOSE TWO were about to RAPE somebo…. *Ahem* somepony!” Shouting back at the leader, giving a good pointing to the two I saw before (I think their names were Nightshade and Feather Storm?).
“Sir it’s trying to trick you, we would never do a thing like that!” Nightshade lied, trying his best not to show his fear.
‘hmmmmm it seems ill need a bit more than just saying that they did it to prove them guilty of my claims.’ I thought, pondering on what I could do to prove them to be……..
*KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
All the ponies looked up to a large building made of crystal, what met their eyes shocked them in a horrific way. A cloud of black insects were shooting freaking lasers at the building, and decimating it by the looks of things.
“OH BUCK, SOLDIERS ON YOUR FEET AND TRIPPLE TIME BACK TO THE CASTLE. WE MUST PROTECT THE PEOPLE AND THE PRINCESS!!” The captain exploded at his troops, turning towards the castle galloping at possibly the fastest it could go. Most of the group was still stunned from the initial explosion and couldn’t move while 1/5 of the group had run off to help the captain. My brain went straight into overdrive, and my body began to move as fast as it could.
As I became closer and closer to the castle I felt my mind pulling away almost. Once I had reached the rest of the guards I closed my eyes, and upon opening them I didn’t see this as I should through my/Braums eyes.
But I saw the battlefield in the third person top down perspective from the game. This boggled my mind but also gave me a perspective of the situation. Units on the field in total: 300 crystal armored ones, 1500 insect like equine, one Braum.
This is going to be tough.
I looked at the location in which my summoner spells would be and found a small grid with ever spell on it. I didn’t give it much thought while I quickly activated Teleport and selected an armored horse as a target and got ready.

Party Time
As my feet hit the ground, Unbreakable was activated and blocking shots. Both sides seemed scared yet intrigued at the newcomer to the battle. My ability was getting to the end of its duration so I began to dash towards the insect equine at maximum speed. More bolts of energy began to hail down on me as I advanced forward, barely scratching my health as I marched on. As the front lines came into view, the lasers stopped and all was quiet.
Looking around I called out, “Who is your leader? I would like to speak with them immediately.” Turning around I shouted, “Yours as well, I must assess my situation.” The armies on both sides began to part down the middle, showing who their leaders were.
On the crystal side were two horses of equal stature, one was pink with purple hair with white and pink streaks, while the other was white with light blue hair; one baring a mark of a heart made of light blue crystal, and the other bearing a mark of a blue shield with a purple star in the middle.
From the insect army came a tall horse with black skin and tattered blue hair, bearing no mark of any kind. As they approached me they began to tighten up a bit, fearful of what I may be. And when they were about 2 meters away, my perspective went back to normal first person. Once they reached my location, I built a small snow mound a placed my shield on top to act as a table.
“Please sit” Making my voice as calm as possible, seeing as I was interrupting a large battle. They complied and sat down in silence on opposite sides of my shield waiting and thinking of what to say. This silence was broken when the insectoid spoke up, “What are you?” it asked. The voice sounded feminine, and it seemed to have a form of a technological remix added to her voice.
“I am a human being, I have many names but you may call me Braum.”
“Why have you come here? What do you want?” The blue haired male asked.
“I have no clue how I got to this land, but my reason for stepping into this battle was to figure out a way to end a dispute with little violence.”
“I don’t believe that will be possible,” replied the insectoid, “This war between us has been going on for too long.”
“Then why don’t you just end this and stop attacking us Chrysalis?!” Yelled the pink one.
“Yes, why did you attack them in the first place miss…Chrysalis?” I needed answers here, this day just kept getting stranger and stranger.
“The reason is that my colony needs to feed, and we feed off of love. And sence this place has an item called the Chrystal heart, it seems reasonable to attack here for food.”
“So your reason for attacking is to eat? How can you justify that to me?” Chrysalis stood up, and began to walk towards me.
“Well this has been fun Braum but I must say I will have to cut a quick deal.” As she got closer my muscles slightly tensed, ready to go into action. ‘No,’ I told myself, ‘Calm yourself, I don’t want to start something unless she shoots first.’ As she closed in on me, my body began to become less tense and ready for action.
The dark face of a possible enemy was almost touching mine staring back at me at me with dark green eyes, filled with anger and hate. “My deal is this: Get out of my way OR DIE” Her horn began to cover its self in a greenish hue, getting brighter and brighter. She jumped back landing on her hind legs, forelegs rearing in the air. Once her hooves touched the ground she released a giant beam of energy right at the pink unicorn-Pegasus….thing.
I grabbed my shield and jumped between the Pink horse and the green beam of pure energy. I quickly popped my E and got into a form like that of an earth bender from Avatar. As the beam hit the shield of pure ice, it disappeared from existence. Chrysalis’s mouth was agape, she had no idea how this creature had destroyed an attack she put most of her energy in.
“Chrysalis, thank you for showing me what side I choose for this.” She was outraged, infuriated and downright angry. She had had enough.
“WHOEVER BRINGS ME THE HEAD OF THAT CREATURE SHALL BE GIVEN A FEAST BEYOND THEIR COMPREHENSION!!!!!!”
The swarm let loose a cry like an army of Geonosians and charged the Chrystal defenses. My shield at the ready, I began my advance on the army of a thousand charging at me.
