I Used to Wonder What Friendship Could Be
It was a starry night, seventy years into the future. An important and special day is actually coming up in Equestria, for it will be the seventieth Summer Sun Celebration. We have Twilight Sparkle, still remaining as a princess. As the years have passed, she got taller, stronger, and more majestic. She had reached her full adulthood and godhood, with her glorious and stunning flowing purple and pink mane. Here, we have her standing in her own crystal-like palace. Twilight is getting ready for the big celebration in a few hours by putting on her magnificent tiara and her beautiful horseshoes, all of them had her star-shaped cutie mark. After Twilight Sparkle was finished with her accessorizing, she turned to Spike, the teenage dragon, and sighed.
"Oh, Spike. It's time again." Twilight sighed again.
Princess Twilight walked to her own balcony. She gazed upon the glittering night sky and the moon. Twilight actually frowned at this sight.

A few minutes later, Twilight met up in the Canterlot Castle with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. The other two princesses were also getting prepared for the Summer Sun Celebration. After they were done, Twilight Sparkle decided to do a quick stroll through the stained glass window hallway. She especially got a close look at the stained glass windows of her and her friends defeating Discord, Nightmare Moon, and a new window of the main six defeating Tirek, with their rainbow power forms. She then quickly ran outside. Princess Celestia was intrigued of what she was seeing. Where are you going Twilight? she thought. The light empress chased after Princess Twilight. Celestia found the princess of friendship in an area that she liked to call, "The Garden of Harmony." There stood five huge statues of the main six, under them was a podium with a plaque. They all stated each of their names and their element of harmony. Princess Celestia noticed Princess Twilight's distress, for the purple princess was frowning. Celestia slowly approached her.
"Princess Twilight, is there something wrong?"
"No, princess, I'm just fine."
"Are you sure? I'm sure that I can fix your problems if you just tell me them." Twilight Sparkle took a second to look at each of her friend's statues.
"No... it's just too personal...... and it's s-silly." Princess Twilight Sparkle turned her head to face the concerned Princess Celestia. Twilight looked down at the Canterlot cobblestone path, frowned, and spilled the beans. "Look at these, princess," The sun goddess did what the princess of friendship said. Twilight became silent for a few seconds and started to shed some tears.
"Oh, Twilight." said Princess Celestia as she tried to comfort the mourning princess.
"I.... I just miss my friends. The memories we shared.... when they all cared..... and when t-they were there for me in any situation...... Why must I have this curse?" said Twilight as she spread her wings,"W-why must I see my best friends fade away from me?" The purple alicorn bursted into tears.
"Twilight....." It really broke the Celestia's heart when she saw her grown student so miserable. "Twilight.... it'll be fine. I understand why you are in such sorrow, it is sad to think that they are all gone. But Twilight....."
"Yes.......princess?"
"You are the princess of friendship! You are the one who understands friendship more than anypony, and I believe you should already know that your friends will always be there, even when it seems like they are gone. Your friends are looking after you right now, way up in the clouds. Don't you agree with me?" Princess Celestia teleports a single tissue for the sorrowful princess. Princess Twilight wiped her face with the tissue from all of the salty tears and replied with a nod.
"You are right.... Princess Celestia. They are my friends, after all."
"Good. Now, I think that the Summer Sun Celebration is about to be held right now. I figure that we should be on our way now, right?" With Celestia's advice, Princess Twilight felt a little better. "You are right, princess. Let's go." The two royal princesses spread their wings and soared over to Ponyville.

Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Princess Twilight stood on the same iron platform that they were on in the past Summer Sun Celebrations. There was a glistening and metallic statue of the sun and the moon. There was also a special statue just for Twilight Sparkle, one of her cutie mark. The three majestic princesses stood on the platform. Princess Celestia cleared her throat for the speech.
"Citizens of Equestria, we are gathered here with such pride in raising the sun. It is actually the seventieth annual Summer Sun Celebration today and the seventieth-year anniversary of the return of not Nightmare Moon, but Princess Luna. And to celebrate, we have a special speech. Ladies and gentlecolts, Princess Twilight Sparkle."
Both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna raised their hooves to give attention to the purple alicorn princess. Twilight began her speech.
"Thank you, Princess Celestia and Luna. We are also gathered right here today to celebrate the anniversary of when I met the bearers of the elements of harmony. Or in other words, when I met my friends. Each one of them have something special. Applejack is an honest and dependable farmpony. Fluttershy is the kind and timid animal lover. Rarity is the generous and affectionate fashionista. Pinkie Pie is the joyous and fun-loving party pony. Finally, Rainbow Dash is the loyal and spunky skychaser. Every single one of them has been there for me, in every situation, at any time. In fact, if it weren't for them, I wouldn't even be crowned royalty! They are also very strong soldiers in Equestria! All of them faced the battles with me. We always did what we can to protect this nation and to save it. Together, we all won and conquered every fight. It is very hard to let go the death of my friends for me and even everypony, but they will always be in our minds, and especially, in our hearts."
After the speech, everypony in the crowd stomped and clapped their hooves. Then, Princess Luna lowered the moon, Princess Celestia raised the sun, and Princess Twilight took a few steps and soared with a sparkleboom. She landed with a faint smile. Twilight now felt a lot better after the ceremony.
