> Rick and Morty's adventures in Equestria > by SolidFerret > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > 'round the Dimensions we'll go > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Celestia laid quietly in her bed, sleeping soundly as the moon began to lower down in the sky, the stars staying in place. Outside on the balcony, Luna used her magic and lowered the moon, preparing to awaken her sister to bring fourth a brand new day. As the moon was removed from the sky, and the sun was ready to be raised, Luna gasped as she felt her "my sister is having a bad dream" senses began to tingle. She rushed over to see her sister squirming around in her bed. "Tia! Wake up!" She shook her sister to wake her. Celestia gasped and awoke, looking at her sister. "Sister, what was the matter?" Luna asked. Celestia looked at Luna with deep concern. "They're coming." Morty laid asleep in his bed, the sun merely peeking over the horizon. He mumbled a little at turned over, unaware of the the footsteps outside his room that lead to his door. "Quick Morty! Wake up!" Rick shouted as he flipped the light switch. Morty groaned and looked around his room, his drooling Grandpa in the door way. "Quick Morty." He clapped his hands to get his grandson up. "We need to move quick." "R...Rick, are you going to try to blow up the world again?" Morty asked, rubbing his eyes. "No Morty, I'm actually soooober this time. Promise." Hiding the fact that he belched mid-sentence, Rick threw Morty his clothes. "Now get up. It's summer and I decided to spend it in a dimension, kinda like those summer camps that kids like you go to." Rick told his grandson. "Rick, I don't want to go to a dimension for summer." "Th-th-th-that's not the point Morty. You'll be ahead of your peers if you do this." Rick explained. "I left a note for your parents. Now get up!" Rick saw a little saliva fly from his lip as Morty got up and put his clothes on. "Now come on Morty, you can have breakfast when we get there." Rick told him as the two went into the garage. "So where are we going Rick?" Morty asked as Rick pulled a device from his pocket. With a press of a button, a projection shot out, turning everything that was Rick's lab into holograms that all seemed to disappear into the device. "That's the fun part Morty, I just discovered this place a week ago while you were at school." He said as he got out his inter-dimensional portal device and typed the coordinates. "We'll be the first ones to see it Morty." Rick exclaimed as he finished packing his lab. "Rick, I don't want to spend all summer there." Morty argued. Sighing, Rick looked at Morty and told him. "Fine Morty! Y-y-y-y-you can stay home all damn summer if you want. But at least come with me for this one day." He held up his index finger. "Fine." Morty said, crossing his arms. "Lets just get this over with Rick. I'm tired." "You won't be when you get there. You'll want to see what the deal is with this place. Now come on Morty." The green portal lit the garage in a green hue. Without further notice, the two stepped through as it closed. The school bell rang as the young, little ponies ran outside, finally ready for the long awaited summer break. "It's finally here guys!" Apple Bloom cheered as they ran out of the school yard. "Summer vacation!" She yelled as her her friends caught up. "Yep, nothing but relaxing all day from here on end." Scootaloo bragged to the school as she left. "Can't wait to visit my sister Rarity more often now." Sweetie Belle chimed in as the three walked through Ponyville. "Maybe we'll get our cutie marks this summer." Scootaloo said, jumping and buzzing her small wings. "I'm to tired to go Crusading." Apple Bloom said with a yawn. "Aw come on Apple Bloom." Scootaloo said. "We just got out of school and you want to go to sleep?" "She has a point." Sweetie Belle told her friend. "It's nice to get home and take a nap after a long day... or school year." "Fine guys, go to sleep. Don't whine to wake up and find me with a cutie mark and not be there when I got it." Scootaloo told the two as she hopped onto her scooter and sped off. "She has a lot of energy." Sweetie Belle commented. "Yeah, I'm sure she'll tire herself out in a bit." Apple Bloom commented. "That's true, well I gotta get going. See you later Apple Bloom." Sweetie Belle said as she ran home. "Bye Sweetie Belle." Apple Bloom waved as she herself walked back to the farm. Applejack and Big Mac were out working, much to Apple Blooms delight. It was a sign that she could work on the farm more with her brother and sister, something she loved a lot. She trotted up to her room, being quiet to not wake up Granny Smith. The young filly got to her room and hopped into bed, eager to fall asleep. It never came. Ten minutes later, she was woken up by a noise outside followed by some rambling. A flash a green was seen from no eyes, as Rick and Morty arrived in their new world. "We made it Morty. Now we just need to affiliate ourselves with the locals, set up the lab and we will beeeee [burp] good to go." "I don't know Rick, this place seems normal." Rick grabbed Morty and pulled him to his face. "That's exactly why we're here Morty, to see what it's like!" Rick exclaimed before pushing Morty's face away. "Now we better get moving. Let's find out where the hell we are for starters." Rick began to walk before stopping at the sight of a little filly in front of him. Apple Bloom didn't know what to think, she hadn't seen creatures like this before. Yet they were so... lively. They talked just like ponies yet walked and two legs like a Dragon could. "Hi..." She told them, not knowing what else to say or do except try to make friends with them. "Holy crap Morty! It has talking horses." Rick yelled a loud. He knelt down to the little filly. "Hello." He took her hoof and shook it a little. "My name is Rick, that's my grandson Morty. We come from dimension C137." He told her as politely as possible. "My name's Apple Bloom. I live over at Sweet Apple Acres." She said, pointing to the bar behind her. "Awwww. S-s-see Morty, isn't that just adorable?" He said while putting his arm around Morty's shoulder. "Y-y-y-yeah Rick. I guess." "I mean look at this place Morty. That forest over there looks like it's begging to be explored. The inhabitants look friendly. We'll be like our own celebrities here Morty." Suddenly, the two saw an aura of blue as their eye lids became heavy. "It's a trap Morty! They're trying to..." Rick never finished his sentence as he fell to the ground asleep, Morty landing on top of him. Apple Bloom was confused, until none other than Princess Luna herself stepped in. "Rest now little one, I will handle this."
