                                              The Human
[Author’s Note : This is the first fan-fic I ever made it took me a while to get off my lazy flank to get this up but i did give me a lot of time to think of a plot.. Kind of. This story won’t have any shipping, at least not any that I can think of ;)] [ also  if you see “A:’ its just a little authors note]

“Why did you take me here, it’s like you actually need me to go and buy food”, bonbon said laughing at her own joke. “Pinkie Pie discovered a new candy and she needs someone to taste test them”, said the green unicorn with her tongue out. “I really doubt taste testing candy is the reason you dragged me here,  your not the type of pony who would bring someone else to share food –“ , bonbon decided to discontinue her statement now that she lost Lyra’s attention completely 

after a rather short calming walk they were inside Sugercube corner it’s was rather quiet, could be because the store was closed so inside was a ghost town all except for the 
Crazy pink pony who seems to have the energy level of at least 6 other ponies. As Lyra and bonbon trotted into the store they were energetically greeted by the pink hyper pony. “Hi you two” Pinkie spoke at a amazing speed it was almost impossible to keep track of what that pony was talking about. “I bet you two are here to taste test, I bet you are, if you weren’t, You wouldn’t be here, or would you are you just here to s-“Bonbon cut her off.
“Yes we indeed are here to test the candy, well at least she is, pointing at the green unicorn who was already Sticking her snout onto the glass that held the cakes.
Just then from the kitchen came Mr. And miss. Cake carrying they're little foals; Pound and pumpkin cake who were fast asleep in their arms. “Ah you t-one bonbon corrected her, must me here to taste test the candy”
Pinkie then continued “ Then let’s get started” she ran into the other room and came back almost instantly with a tray off candy’s with all sorts of colours in them, 
Some were Blue some were Green and red others were just white. I remember going up to the weather factory in Cloudsdale and tasting the rainbow [A:no pun intended]]
I tasted all sorts of things at once And that gave me a Wonderful idea so I got rainbow dash to go up there and dip these in the rainbow and here we are now.

I really don’t think that’s a good idea bonbon said but was cut off by the munching of candy. Lyra was already half way into the candy when suddenly she started to turn all sorts of colours all but mint green and after about five seconds she passes out.

As Lyra opened her eyes to the sight of her room,
And beside her bed was bonbon with a expected combination of “I told you so” and “thank celestia your ok”
After about two minutes of staring bonbon broke the silence with a well expected I told you so themed remark starting with: “You know if you thought with you brain and not with you stomach you would remember what they teach you in magic school." she began to nag about the usual bonbon business blah blah rainbows- poisonous – blah blah not consumable. “How do you even know about magic school you not even a unicorn”
Bonbon paused then looked away, Probably thinking of a response until lyra continued “anyways it doesn’t matter Im ok and that’s all that matters”. Bonbon still had a worried look on her face. “oh yea when I was asleep I had a dream, it was a dream about the humans. Bonbon’s expression turned from worried to mad  then to the look you give when you just want to say “ugh I give up”. 
“Lyra you know i don’t have time for this rant, Humans don’t exist why don’t you just grow up and admit it they are just fictional creatures that “feed on meat” they don’t exist they tell little children this so they will stay out of the Everfree and listen to their parents”. 
“Besides You know you cant research them its illegal you don’t want the equestrian inquisition on you”, bonbon finished. 
“I know I know, But this dream felt so real i was walking through this city the humans call “Toronto” It was filled with humans, some were walking some were running some were on these weird things with two wheels some were even on the big metal thing on four wheel for a creature that can’t use magic they could sure have a lot of neat things i even think i was a human in this dream I was much taller and walk on two -, bonbon cut her off.
“Regardless of what you dream a dream is not real and you really shouldn’t be scouting this out so openly you lucky im a nice person and your my roommate if not I could get you arrested”. “Speaking of roommate you still owe me this month’s rent.” Bonbon said with a sassy tone on her voice “oh come on” Lyra shot back. “Dear Princess Celestia there is a green unicorn here in Ponyville breaking the law”... bonbon dragged “law” out further then needed. Okay i'l pay Lyra said looking under her pillow and tossing a pouch full of bits. Bonbon left the room with a smirk. Lyra waited until she could no longer hear bonbon’s hoof steps then said in a low almost whispering voice “They exist i know they do, why else would they be illegal to research if they didn’t of did exist 
Maybe i could start my research in Twilight's library.

I’m sorry I don’t have any books About such Things 
Said the purple unicorn clearly not even paying attention to who she was talking to, she didn’t even make eye contact because she was so engrossed in her own book. 
The purple glow of her unicorn magic raised the book in front of her eyes Totally blocking the green unicorn from sight on the cover of the book read “Trolling for eggheads”, by princess Celestia. Twilight then continued 
by saying “ Perhaps you can look in the fictional or mythological creatures section cocking her head to the
bookshelf to the left. Lyra wanted to shout out “The aren’t fictional!” however instead she just let out a large sigh and head towards the bookshelf. On the bookshelf
read many different varieties of books, Most of them for novels not factual books. Lyra knew that most of these creatures were not real, there were books about monsters like; Mummy ponies, zombie ponies. They even 
had the daring do series most of were taken that’s when twilight said “If you want a daring do book you have to wait all of them beyond book 5 is reserved for rainbow dash”.
That’s where Lyra saw it at the very bottom a dusty yet untouched; Human Anthropology, It looked like any normal book but to Lyra This book was amazing, amazing that she could ever find such a exact book about Humans. Recalling what bonbon said; “Study of humans
As they call them is strictly forbidden”. But Lyra being as obsessive as she is just had to take it out. 

As Lyra was walking to the service counter something struck her she realized some reason why she couldn’t take this book out; Twilight if anyone was Celestia’s personal student Taking out such a book would certainly bring a large amount of suspicion the thought just came to Lyra; “Dear princess Celestia today my friend Lyra came to my library and took out the oddest book about 
Huma-....” Lyra’s Thought Was cut off by 
twilight's voice “Hello? Lyra, You ok?” 
“Uh yes I'm fine” Lyra shook her head with a light nod 
“ I'm going to take this out” Lyra said, sweat rolled down 
Her face and past her snout, twilight didn’t seem to notice however. “Um Are you sure your alright” Twilight said with a concerned look. Lyra  then repeated herself 
“Uh yes I'm fine”, Pulling the worst poker face.
“oh i see” twilight said, sliding the book across her horn
Not looking at the front of the cover. As twilight set the book down Lyra snatched it from the counter and quickly 
Trotted out of the library

Later that afternoon as Lyra stood outside her “half-owned house” she look at he doorknob most ponies just walk into the house the doorknobs were just for show they never really turn i mean  why would they only dragons had anything remotely close to hands and of course humans, Lyra thought to herself the word “humans” it was such a interesting word for her if you asked any pony else about humans the first word that they would say would be is “fake” but to Lyra human meant so many different things to her it was their complexity that got her attention; their intelligence,
Their Ability to walk on two feet, their lack of hair, But the most amazing thing that interests her was their “hands” these extensions to their arms That they used to grasp this. Ponies in Equestria used their mouth to grab things and unicorns used levitation but humans, humans as the books say; can’t use magic and their teeth are not strong enough to really do anything but eat and bite.
So they use these hands to operate things. As Lyra got back onto track still standing outside of the door. The purple door began to glow with a green aura as the door creaked open the house was pitch black.
After stumbling in the seemingly endless trial of darkness it was clear bonbon was not here.
It was a hard, tiring day and Lyra Couldn't really read at this time of night,Lyra put the book inside the shelf in her 
study which is usually locked even though she only lived with bonbon and bonbon knew exactly what was in there she still would respect Lyra's privacy.
still she hid it on the shelf locked herself in and went to sleep.

The next day Lyra woke up to a rather delightful smell the smell of hayfries,and the smell of cinnamon rolls probably
for desert Lyra rolled out of her bed and dragged herself down the stairs the fresh smell of cinnamon rolls filled her
nose until she arrived  at the table to see bonbon across from her already digging into the steamed hay. 
It was a rather quiet Saturday morning no words were spoken at the table as Lyra was trying to decode what was going on in bonbon thoughts. Her brain was not readable and you would never know what was wrong until you ask and if it was your fault Celestia have mercy on you. Lyra looked away and back to bonbon and said " Okay if its something i did then spit it out"  Bonbon then looked up and said "Where did you go yesterday" Lyra's Heart stopped Bonbon continued 
"Twilight came over late last night, far after you were asleep"  she said you forgot to take your receipt.
Lyra knew that the receipt had the name of the book on it so Lyra asked the question any paranoid pony would ask
"D-did you read it" Lyra said sweat rolling down her mane. Of course not, Bonbons face turned into a smile 
i'm just mad that twilight had to come so late and couldn't wait until tomorrow. Lyra worried face turned into a blushing smile of relief. Lyra turned around and walked upstairs. 
As she was trotting up the stairs again bonbon finished by saying "I do however know what it is though Lyra's
heart stopped again and felt like it was gonna explode, twice, Lyra then turned her head slowly at bonbon's still smiling face, at this point she almost looked like Pinkie pie with that little random song she sang for that donkey about a week ago. "Don't worry my lips are sealed" bonbon told her "Just be sure to no drag me along into this."
Lyra gave bonbon a thankful smile as she walked into her study, she had a lot of studying ahead of her.



> The haunted Book

[Authors note: I finally got this fanfic published and i heard you comments about the underlines and stuff and fix them also don’t worry i will get to the human bit soon
In about a chapter or two don’t worry :D it’s hard to type because Luna is just prancing all over Microsoft word 
Also for people who don’t get it its one page per chapter >.<]

The book itself was giant, it was a surprise how despite human research was forbidden this book managed to slip through. Whoever was in charge of hiding things like this was obviously doing a terrible job at hiding it.
Lyra used her magic to Open the first page the book hinges cracked and creaked until the page was fully open
The words were over oiled obviously hoof written this book could possibly challenge Celestia and granny smith’s age Lyra continued to read .
“Human Anthropology” The first words written on the book.
Lyra knew that this was the book she wanted.
After about half an hour Lyra was half way through the book. It has everything the she could possibly imagine 
It talked about their; bone structure, their ability to walk on two legs, their “Hands” also their ability to eat meat 
They used the word “predator” and “homo sapiens”
Lyra knew what a predator was but didn’t know what a “homo sapiens”.
But it was these two words that she really noticed,
Lyra turned the page to see something truly disturbing 
Two words ; Extinct And Everfree forest but it was not those two words that scared her it was how the words were written in “Blood” the words despite in blood were well written in a complete sentence almost as if it was written with “Hands”.
Lyra read through the Grotesque writing.
“Humans Existed once before, in the Everfree forest, They were a native race to Equestria, humans existed since the very beginning. It was not until “Celestia” Lyra noticed how the writer didn’t address her as royalty.
Lyra kept reading; “It was not until Celestia Began hunting us”. The next couple words were written with more blood. She sent troops by the hundreds and kill every single one of us until she sensed no more. I honestly hope that someone reads this before they get “me”. “Me” that word raced through Lyra’s fast acting mind “Me” implies that whoever wrote this was their
“me” written in blood implies that whoever wrote this is dead 
“me” implies that whoever wrote this is “human”.
Lyra closed the book steeped back sat down at her study in her normal “human” fashion.
“Oh my gosh, im actually talking to a human, well a dead one, Lyra said with a hysteric smile. 
Lyra opened the book again and flipped two the page with the blood when something caught her eye;
D.C 12 written in Bold blood letters. Lyra knew that Dc. Stood for Discordian Time period 12 that was some time when princess Celestia and Princess Luna Turned discord to stone.
Lyra  Then turned the page to see something more disturbing Written in Blood letters but more calmly written; Celestia does not know this however humans are not entirely extinct. There is another planet.
Written in Even more Bold letters again had a unfamiliar 
Word to lyra; “Earth” Even throughout all her research she never knew what a “earth” was it was mentioned a lot of times however she never knew what it was.
She turned the page To see In blood that covered most of the page “SET US FREE”. Just  then the pages of the book began to flip on their own and the candles flickered out Lyra was now in darkness.
Lyra Lit her horn to light up the room in a yellow glow 
The pages were still flipping constantly. Until they stopped at a page; page 666 the words were written in Purple no longer blood writing It looked like a spell
Lyra examined the page to read the purple words.
It had a image of a human outline and beside it was a
Picture of a Unicorn. Lyra’s face turned to a wicked grin.
She has a idea.

> The Everfree

The next day ran by Really fast Lyra's mind was scarred by what she witnessed The night before.
She was so scarred that she could play her lyre properly and didn't get as much money as she usually receives 
The whole day she had a aura of fear circle her she was easily startled by every little thing she saw and sounds carried a 
heavy tone to them.
Lyra was not thinking straight and needed some peace and quite she got of the bench and put on her green saddlebag
and trotted of to the Everfree forest. Normally no pony in their right mind would ever step foot in the Everfree It was covered in wild animals and no pony really had a reason to be in there but perhaps Zacora and some royal guards, But ever since 
Lyra Heart about humans living here brought a sort of "Lyra-affect" on her.She made sure she was not followed or watch 
the everfree was rather quiet even regular animals of Equestria stayed clear of this forest.
But Lyra was not afraid,She knew that if humans managed to live in there so can pony,She was not going to live in there she was going to search;she was going to search for any trace of human life in the everfree even if it meant risking her own life.

The EverFree was a Dark scary forest Everytree loomed over her  and covered the trees in a shroud of darkness and gloom
She armed herself with a wooden stick raised in a green glow and a let horn admitting a yellow glow.
The trees Creaked left and right almost as if they were telling her to turn back and go home and forget all about her quest.
But it did not affect her she held out her map of what she was looking for Inside the book she got from twilight's library
The map was somewhat outdated but nothing really happens in the Everfree so nothing should have changed.
Lyra was looking for some sort of abandoned camp that the humans used to use before the "Extinction" .
Lyra knew it exist, it had to exist, it maybe the last strand of humanity in equestria.

Lyra's hoofs felt sore after trotting in the cold mud puddles by now she was so deep into the forest it may take days to even 
find her way back out.as she entered a grove in the forest she looks up at the clear dark sky the moonlight shone over the forest and the cool breeze drifted across her mane.She heard in the distant the sound of a owl.her front hoof shook and she collapsed across the ground she was cold, and hungry.and needed some well deserved rest. she remembered she packed a case of donuts from Sugercube corner and a warm blanket from home she opened the cardboard box to a variety of different colored donuts of different flavors she picked up a chocolate flavored Doughnut and took a large bite into it.

Just as she was about to take another bite She heard a roar from bush further ahead,along with a dark shadow jumping out from behind the trees; A Manticore.


The Angry,and hungry manticore let of a giant roar that shook the mighty trees. As the manticore began to charge at her she knew she could defend from it she held the stick she has been carrying in front of her in hopes to block the on coming train of a manticore she figured that it would no longer work she dropped the stick and attempted to flee leaving the donuts and the blanket behind.

After Galloping at top speed for ten minutes the saddlebag started to feel heavy but she still ran, she would  stop, she couldn't not if it meant encountering that monster again. Not watching where she was going she tripped over a rock and fell 
face first on the ground. she couldn't get up she was much to tired her eyes started to sway and she started to lose focus and blacked out.

It was only in dreams this happened. most ponies forgot about their dreams when they woke up but Lyra, Lyra never forgot she clung to her dreams more then she clung to anything else in life they were her only source of knowing about humans
to this day she could never understand how she could have dreams about something she never saw, But this dream,
she kept having this dream over and over. every time she had this dream it became more and more focused.
This time she was dreaming she was sitting on a bench(in her normal human fashion) with her lyre and sitting on the ground were humans of all ages some full grown some were being carried and looked no older then a foal.
She was playing a melody a song she heard when she was little she played it often and everyone loves it and humans do too, The were slamming their "hands" together to the beat as if they were "clapping" smiles on their faces.

Then suddenly their smiles turned to frowns they were turning, in the distance stood ponies royal guards with angry looks 
on their faces and in the group of ponies stood two larger ponies; Princess Celestia, and princess Luna both fully armored 
but with less angrier faces on them.Lyra looked back at the humans who were now fully standing they loomed over the ponies in size to her left stood a child human with a horn . the child blew the horn with little trouble as Lyra looked back at the humans in font of her they were all holding thing sharp blades, clubs ,and rocks. in the distance the unicorns held rocks above their heads and pegasi in the air held rocks between their hooves, the earth ponies held nothing as Celestia and Luna also held nothing.

As the horn stopped blowing the humans began advancing step by step Lyra tried to stop one of the humans to see something truly disturbing. He had no face, no eyes no mouth, just blank. the human held no expression, not that he could
and soon time froze everything stood still the sped up like a time lapse.Lyra however couldn't move she stood their and watched the carnage play out. The humans were vastly outnumbered  but still stood their ground.
it was quite clear the humans were going to loose. finally she was able to move her head she turned behind her only to see something truly disturbing; more humans at least twenty more and leading them was a true monster; Discord, lord of chaos
after about ten minutes the humans were overrun and no more stood on top of the pile of humans stood Celestia, clearly 
tired after the fight.

In merely a single blink she was back in the Everfree,no, something was different she was in the everfree that was for sure 
but she was still human,yes, she was dreaming. This time she was in some sort of camp tents stood all across a field
and a large tent in the middle there were not a lot of humans, she was happy however that they could see her this time but,
they were not happy they were sad,scared they hit in corner some holding children tightly.
"What's wrong" Lyra said with confusion in her voice.
A young human looking about seven replied "this is the day Celestia hunts us to extinction" 
Lyra's heart sank, now was her chance to get a explanation.
"Why does prin- Celestia want us dead?" she asked 
"I do not know" the child said 
Suddenly among the large trees a flare of light lit the sky in a bloody red.
Lyra felt she couldn't move again, she fell over and her eyes fell shut.
She opened her eyes to a sight most amazing she was exactly where she was before once a human
and now a pony again she felt well rested she stood up and looked at where she was the sun rose over the trees and shone over the camp.


It was abandoned.





> Creature From myth

“Why.”Lyra Thought to herself “Why would my race do such a thing. Lyra remembered what she learned in Books; “Humans are evil mythological creatures that prey on other animals to survive they should never be trusted”. Looking at the abandoned camp made her think, Who’s the real monster?

Just then What seemed like magic occurred, one of the 
Larger tents lit up. “Who else could possibly be HERE?”.
Lyra Slowly Pulled the tarp back on the tent and poked her head inside. A dark shadow jumped out of a corner ran past her almost knocking her over. It was hard to see but the shadow was running on two legs. 
By the time Lyra got back on her feet the dark shadow was long gone.
Lyra Pulled back the tarp on the tent again, Readying herself for what may be ready to charge her again.

Inside the tent was silence there was nothing else hiding inside the tent. There were books however. 
Lyra Studied the books Most of the books were burnt or so old that the text was no longer readable, Not only that but the words were in terrible equestrian, not that she expected humans to know it.
From Lyra’s knowledge she understood that equestrian and ‘human English” were similar, chances are that if you knew equestrian you knew English and vise- versa
However this book was in neither equestrian or English they almost looked like spells.
Lyra Looked the book up and down on the cover had a image of a triangle mixed with a upside down triangle .
Lyra remembered learning about the symbol in magic school. Yes it was a pentagram.
The text above the book read “Book of shadows.”
Lyra attempted to levitate the book with magic but every time she tried her magic would “break”. This book had some sort of magic countermeasure. 


“I thought that humans didn’t posses the ability to use mag-“ her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of talking.  
Without thinking lyra Extinguished The candle light and hid by the window. Lyra listened to the voices outside of the tent. She saw six shadows two were Pegasi and she could barely see a unicorn horn on the far side of the five silhouettes.
‘So Sugercube, why ar we here’ said an orange pony.
“I received a note from princess Celestia herself” a lavender unicorn replied, to occupied with a sheet of paper in front of her face, the unicorn then continued to recite the message; “
My faithful student, twilight sparkle. I am sending you on a mission in the Everfree forest. it seems that a ancient evil still remains there after I thought I purged it.
Further information is not required, instead i need you, the elements of harmony to burn down this camp. You have my permission to kill anything that stand in your way.
Princess Celestia.

The purple unicorn then rolled the paper up and packed it into her saddle bag.
Lyra felt no need to listen she searched the area for a way to escape other than the front door that was now covered with ponies and windows that would obviously alert them if to be opened. 
Lyra was trapped. Just a loud noise shook the tent on the far side of the camp. Lyra poked her head out of the window to see the ponies were no longer guarding the door but were now on the other side of the camp, with barrels of T.N.T .  Lyra’s heart stopped “I can’t allow 
Such a ancient civilisation to be erased like that. I needed to get the word out, I need... magic. 
Lyra approached the dusty red book the book let out a quiet purr, as if it wanted to be opened, it wanted to be used. It was almost as if it was in her head “Use me..” the book whispered in a deep cracking voice. Lyra knew it was wrong, shadow magic was strictly forbidden in equestria. It’s that kind of magic the possessed Princess Luna no more than 1000 year ago. but she knew she had two. 

As lyra opened the book, now with her hooves, her horn surged with magic, a glow could be seen from her horn like always but no.. this glow was not green, but black.

The horn’s aura was blacker than night, so black the  horn itself was no longer visible. A low voice was heard in her head; “You like this power don’t you, Lyra.” Lyra stumbled to a shard of glass on the ground and examined
Herself. Her eyes were no longer the usual orange, instead then were black possibly blacker then her horn was, her coat was grey as a ash. Not only that but, wings.
She had wings on both sides. She was a Alicorn, a scary one at that. Before she could do anything she blacked out. 
Lyra was dreaming again, this time she was a human foa-child, in a crib standing outside the crib stood two humans, A male and a female, their smiles on their faces seemed heart warming the calm serenity of the dream was interrupted.
The humans smiles turned into frowns and soon to nothing.

Lyra looked down two see she was no longer a human but a foal with hooves, green hooves.
Lyra’s vision turned blurry and wet, she was crying, she didn’t know why however, but whatever she was crying about was extreme her tears turned red as the hit the comforter of the crib, she recognized the red splotches as blood. The blood then faded away and the crib faded as well.  Lyra then woke up this time outside of the tent,
Alone, the gunpowder was still there, however no ponies, 
Lyra got back up on all fours to observe her surroundings 

Lyra walked up to a puddle of water. her horn was back to normal, and her eyes were back, her wings were also gone. 
Lyra witnessed enough today and needed no more as she didn’t know what happened to her after she read the book nor did she care, the camp was clear proof that humans existed why else would Celestia send the elements to burn it down, other  than to wipe out all proof of their existence. As lyra was about to leave a voice spoke to her. “Nooo don’t leave, stay”
The voice said now with the voice of a child.  Lyra followed the voice to the red book she read earlier.
Lyra was about to kick the book when a different voice spoke to her. “You want to know more about humans, yes?”  
Lyra replied “I already know about humans I know what Celestia did to them and I’m deeply moved, but now I need to put this knowledge into action I need to know what happened and why Celestia did this. Before the book could reply lyra was back into the forest.

The travel back from the forest was rather calmer then it was before. No monsters tried to attack her, the sun was rising on a beautiful day, Birds could be heard in the distance.
Lyra had a much more positive look on life, probably because she just confirmed her lifelong research to be true, not only that but the shadow she saw from the tent, what was it? Was it a human? Lyra tried to trace her memory of the shadow.
Suddenly a shadow Jumps out of a nearby bush. 
The tall, two legged creature shared the same height as lyra, a dark robe covered the creatures face, a large knife sheathed to its side. 
Lyra bravely approached the hooded creature.
“um, hello sir?” 
The creature didn’t answer nor did it react, despite the fact that Lyra couldn’t see the creatures face she knew the creature didn’t want to be bothered. 

Lyra was about to say something when a deep groan could be heard, The creature was hungry.
“I bet your hungry” lyra said. She had a idea of what this creature is she just needed to get its hood off.
The creature didn’t reply to the question but instead 
Turned and walked away.
“Hey I’m talking to you!” lyra pulled at the robe with her mouth.
The creature reacted immediately by pulling out its knife.
Lyra backed up, fear on her face. Never before has she been threatened in such a way.
Once Lyra was at a fair distance from the mysterious creature she heard a roar from the near bush.
From the bush, a manticore appeared, anger on its face she recognized it as the same manticore she faced on her way to the camp.

Without thought the manticore jumped, lyra attempted to dodge but the manticore snagged her leg, before she knew it she was on the ground, a heavy wound running though her hoof, at the manticore’s mercy.
Lyra never felt pain like this before, life in ponyville is usually problem free, but she knew that if she survived this she would die in this forest there is no way she could return to ponyville this deep in the forest.
As the manticore raised its claw readying itself for the final blow, Lyra closed her eyes, accepting her faith.
Just   then, when all hope seemed lost she heard a loud pounding sound following by the sound of whimpering.
Lyra opened her eyes to see something truly amazing.
Lyra squinted her eyes in disbelief.  The creature, now on top of the manticore, blade to its throat.
It was clear, it was a human

Lyra then noticed something about this human, its hood was down now and she could see its face.
Lyra has never seen a human close up but reading about them, seeing pictures
In Lyra’s vague judgement on humans Lyra can see for sure this human was no older then sixteen, it was still a child. 
In equestria fillies and colts don’t graduate from there states until then either achieve the cutie marks or become so blatantly old that they can no longer be fillies or colts.
So technically since this human was not even a adult in human years nor in equestrian years he was counted as a colt, but lyra was sure humans were not addressed as colts anyways. Lyra didn’t know much about humans not even to know if its male or female she was unsure.
Lyra was thinking to hard about this, this human just saved her life. She needed a way to make it up to him or her.
Lyra got back onto her hoofs and examined the human as it fought the manticore, naturally she would try to help but whenever Lyra attempted to move her left foot the blood would start pouring more so she just went back down into a sitting position and watched the fight.

At this point everyone was damaged; Lyra had a injured hoof, the manticore had a cut off tail, and the human had what seemed to be a slash going across its chest, lyra was not sure about the human for it seemed not to be affected. 
the sky started to cloud up again, rain followed after, the rain bristled the tree branches and created puddles. 
The blood circle that covered everyone’s feet drifted away with the rain.
The human stood tall, vigilantly, as if nothing happened.
The manticore’s legs bucked and eventually gave way.
The manticore closed its eyes and blacked out.
The human, still standing tall, unsheathed its blade and approached the manticore. Lyra couldn’t believe it, she has never witnessed a human, or an execution, she was fascinated by both. Naturally she would try and stop the human, but figuring what happened last time she approached and figuring the manticore deserves it she sat and watched as the human sliced the manticore’s throat.

The blood of the manticore on the human’s knife, it swiped the blood off on the manticore’s corpse.
Lyra couldn’t believe it her stomach ached, yes she wanted it, yes she had the power to stop it, but she didn’t, this was a memory she would never forget.
The human then looked at lyra, then back at the manticore, then at the blade, and at lyra again. 
The human approached her slightly, then stopped,
Looked at the blade, and dropped it. 
He then approached lyra again, a nervous smile appeared on the humans face. That when Lyra realized.
This is the first time Lyra has seen a human, so this must be the first time this human has seen a equestrian, he must be scared as well. 

Lyra knew that humans could talk, just like equestrians 
The reason the human isn’t saying anything must be because it’s scared.
The human carried Lyra back to the abandoned camp to a large tent, the tent was well lit, it had a bed, a bookshelf, a window glistened with the remaining raindrops for earlier.
Lyra looked through the window and confirmed it was indeed night.
The human knelt down to Lyra’s damaged foot, stared at it for a while then looked up at her. 
The human reached into the shadow of his cloak and pulled out a satchel, it reached into the satchel and pulled out a large white band, Lyra recognized it as one of the bands you rap deep wounds with.
“ok so not only do you have signs of intelligence, but you do first aid too.”Lyra said, holding back being too impressed.
The human said nothing.

Lyra continued to ask “Do you even speak, do you know what I’m saying?”
The human looked up and nodded, and continued on the leg.
“Ok so at least it understands you” Lyra mumbled to herself.
The human ignored her, still occupied with the leg.
“Anyways I would like to thank you- f-or saving my life and fixing my leg.” Lyra said.
The human didn’t reply nor did it even look up.
Lyra would naturally be mad about the human’s attitude if not for her fascination over it; its “toes”, its “fingers”
It’s “lack-of-tail”. Lyra snapped back into focus, the human was now done and staring contently at her, possibly equally fascinated at her.
Lyra then looked to her left, a small drawer, with a note
She waited until the human was occupied with something Outside, she shifted slowly to the end of the bed and examined the note;
My faithful student, twilight sparkle. I am sending you on a mission in the Everfree forest. It seems that a ancient evil still remains there after I thought I purged it.
Further information is not required, instead I need you, the elements of harmony to burn down this camp. You have my permission to kill anything that stand in your way.
Princess Celestia.
“
This was the note that was being read by twilight sparkle Yesterday” She Flipped The note to see a hand print, intentionally added on the back of the paper where the Canterlot crest stands. Just then the human snatches the paper out of the levitated airspace then looks at lyra, anger deep in his eyes but fear on his face. The human then examined the paper then returns the paper to lyra with one hand the other pointing to the ceiling.
It took awhile for Lyra to comprehend what it was indicating to. Until it struck her, she lifted the candle above the paper in the air and examined the paper word side down, the shadow of the hand, the “index finger” and the middle finger indicated to two words; “Princess Celestia.” 
That’s when Lyra knew, this sudden burst on knowledge hit her, it felt worst then the pain in her leg. 
For the longest time Lyra thought he couldn’t talk but he could, he could this whole time, he just didn’t want to speak with her.

Lyra knew it was not just her, he didn’t want to talk to any equestrian, all we have done to his race must be scarring especially at such a young age. 
Snapping back to attention, Lyra noticed the human was no longer looking at her. 
“Listen I’m sorry about your race, about what happened,
What Celestia did was wrong”
The human looked up, surprised, probably to hear Lyra defying her princess,
“what Celestia did, what she’s going to do needs to be stopped, you know about what Celestia tried to do yesterday” lyra continued 
The human’s reassured face deflated. 
“you want your revenge don’t you?” The humans tilted its head so only one eye was visible 
‘I would love to help you get that, but.. I don’t believe i caught your name” Lyra gave the human a sly expression.
“m-my name..” Lyra’s face lit up, it was working, a real talking human she held back a squeal and waited for the human to continue.
“m-m-my name, I don’t have a name”
Lyra was Shocked, she decided not to get further into reasons. 
“So I guess I should call you X?” Lyra said jokingly 
“I don’t care what you call me, pony” The human said with a stern voice, [A: since the author is sick of typing “the human” he will stick with “X”]
“so, anyways yea I can help you get your revenge, Its only a matter of time until they come back to burn this place again.” 
X’s Expression dropped, but then returned to normal.
“But then I will be ready” X’s expression turned to one of determination.
The human got up from the bedside and check a shelf.
He grabbed a jar and stuck his hand in, when he took it out it was glowing with purple fluid, he gently grabbed Lyra’s injured hoof and rubbed it with the gel, lyra didn’t respond, she trusted that x knew what it was doing.
“The gel will fix the wound, you will be able to walk again tomorrow, and please if you leave, none of this happened, ok?” X said with worry clearly written on it
Lyra nodded as x left the tent, she could almost hear it murmur goodnight. 
As soon as the tent flap closed, Lyra squealed like a filly with her cutie mark.
“Oh my gosh a human, a real, talking, human, That knows first aid, he has no idea how much this means to me, I need to make this up to him, tomorrow I will convince him to come to ponyville with me!”

[9:00am][E.V.F time] (E.v.F = Everfree)
Well, Lyra Thought to herself. 
It felt just over a week ago Lyra was taste testing Poisonous food and now, now she was plotting against the crown.
"Its for justice" Lyra kept saying to herself. Plotting against the princess... Just thinking about it made Lyra shutter
She couldn't back down now. She met a human, the only human, on this planet at least. Who even knows how it got in Equestria. But now, now she's teamed with it. It still was not clear how she really got into this mess, but, shes in for it now.
She was not sure how she was going to get revenge for this human but she may have an idea.

[9:30][E.V.F time]
Other than the sounds of birds waking up to the bright sunlight, it was quiet. Lyra Looked outside the window of the tent to a another smaller tent, it was quiet there too. Lyra rolled out of the bed and onto three legs, remembering the injured one. she also remembered what "it" said. "it" the thing she found in the Everfree, the thing that has saved her life almost three times already. This "creature", no, this "human" the "myth" "the predator" saved her life. If these "humans" were such  monsters how come it didn't just "eat" her?

Lyra remembered the night before, the manticore, the bloodshed, the human acted like it was nothing, it was nothing to him.
Lyra started to cry tears rolled off her snout. 
"This "creature" clearly does not care for death, death of others too."
Lyra stopped for a minute.
"This "creature" does care for death.. that's why he saved me from it."
Lyra's tears stopped as she realized something.
"This human clearly does not like me, It could have just let me die out there, no, it saved me, healed my leg, and left me a place to stay."
"place to stay" Lyra repeated 
"I have been in this forest for two days, bonbon must be worried sick." Lyra put her fourth hoof down, which miraculously healed overnight.

[9:05am][E.V.F time]
Outside the tent a well- known human stood with a typical un-intrested look on its face.
Beside him was a table consisting of a typical breakfast; Hay bacon strips and apple juice, most likely for Lyra. 
Lyra looked back up at the human trying to hide a blush, to her surprise it was blushing too.
The Food was Amazing, arguably the best breakfast she ever ate, yea she was eating in a forest but still.
After the food Lyra tried to hold a serious face when addressing the human
"you know last night when i said i could help you with revenge?" Lyra said, still chewing the last bite.
the human looked up at her and back away, it probably did remember. 
"I think i can help you get to that goal...as much as i don't want to "fight the throne" this solution will not hurt Anypony."
Lyra got its attention.
X cocked his head curiosity on his face
"Like what?" 
"Well First off I need to introduce you to some people." 
X's eyes shrank, lips started to tremble
X hated ponies the last thing he wants is to confront any of them. Lyra could see the worry engraved on his face 
"Its the only way that you can get your revenge is to get as much people on you side as possible." Lyra explained.

"Listen, Guards wont be on patrol because they are getting ready for the wedding and because nothing happens in ponyville" Lyra said in a whisper
"Not only that but there only five people i need to introduce you too, don't worry I'm not usually the smartest but this plan is 
unbreakable." 

"Why are you even helping me?" the human said bluntly 

"I'm doing this for justice, what Celestia did was mass genocide, she thinks she could cover it up?, I'm trying to get the word out."

Lyra knew that was only part of the reason, she couldn't tell it the real reason, she just wanted to gain its trust in hope of getting some answers about humans.

[10:07AM][P.N.V time] [P.N.V = ponyville]

After Multiple tries at begging Lyra finally got X to agree to this dangerous plan.
"First off, i suppose, would be applejack, she kind, honest, understanding and would keep quiet if told too"
The human couldn't respond because of the piece of cloth tied across its head and through its mouth.

Sweet apple acres stood in the distance the sun behind it gave the giant red barn a dark black Silhouette.

Outside the barn, a orange earth pony stood, the orange coat glimmered in the sun giving anypony who witnessed it a heartwarming welcome.
Lyra commanded the human to hide behind the barn, the human obeyed and hopped over to the edge of the barn
(tied legs too)
The human poked its head from behind the barn observing what Lyra was doing.
Lyra approached applejack and tapped her, Applejack jumped.
"consarn'it Lyra don't ye know not to sneak up on ponies?" applejack said with a blush of Embarrassment.
"Hey applejack sorry for scaring you, hows the barn repair doing?"
"why she's buildin' faster than a squirrel on a acorn trail
Lyra never understood core country grammar and metaphors but she got the point.
"anyways its not like you to visit here sugercube, i thought you would be at Sugercube corner by now" Applejack said perfectly.
I actually wanted to show you something, something really important.
Lyra left applejack and indicated not to follow her, Lyra soon came back with something, something large, bigger then both of them.
Applejack has never seen anything like it, she didn't know what to say. 

"Well.. what do you think? "Lyra Spoke to break the silence,
"I.. i don't know... what is it?" applejack said not taking her eyes of it. 
"Its a human, applejack, they do exist" applejack's eyes shrunk at the word "Human"
applejack than looked at Lyra with a unsure smile.
"seriously, Lyra what is it?" 
"Its a human" Lyra repeated. 

The human looked up at applejack, then to Lyra, then back at applejack.
applejack than shouted 
"GRANNY SMITH, BIG MAC!"
Big mac rushed to applejack in a split second, granny smith not so much.

"Big bro get "this" inside the barn before anypony see's" 
big mac didn't question it, but only said "e-yup" 
big mac than hauled the human over him and brought it into the barn.

"Lyra, if what you say is true then we might have a crisis on out hands" applejack said as seriously as possible
Lyra was amazed how perfectly applejack was talking.

[11:00am}{P.NV time]
After about twenty five minutes of explaining what happened in the everfree granny smith returned with five other ponies;
Rainbow dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and the most expected Twilight sparkle. 
Lyra was tackled by the two pegasi, both talking over each other, both talking about how worried they were.
applejack was explaining what Lyra told her about the creature on the bed. 
Twilight levitating several books about mythological creatures and creatures of the everfree trotted up next to it.
Twilight Looked the human up and down and up again. The human then started to speak everyone circled the bed 
to listen. 
"You don't seem surprised or scared to see me, am i not frighting to you?"
Twilight then stepped forward to reply
"Fluttershy seems scared of you, however, Lyra told us that you are not dangerous and well "won't bite".

The human's attempts to intimidate the six seems to be failing.

"Well, Lyra must also have told you that i don't like your "kind" very much" 

Twilight replied again
"yes she also told us why, and we are deeply sorry, if only the princess-"

"You know the princess??" 
The human got up from its laying position and onto two feet. 
Its size Loomed over the ponies, fluttershy fainted. 

All the ponies but Lyra protected their heads as if they were about to be attacked.
instead the human backed up away from the ponies and towards the barn entrance.

The human turned to Lyra and said
"Stay out of the Everfree, i saved your life once i cant promise that again"

Lyra Than ran after the soon leaving human and grabbed it by its black robe, tears running down her eyes 
she pulled at the robe until the robe tore off him completely.  

Lyra then used magic to grip its ankle, magic wrapped the leg. 
Her magic wasn't strong enough to cover him completely. 
To her right rarity used her magic combined with Lyra,  extended the grip.

"Rarity, why are you helping me, I barely know you." 
Rarity smiled then said
"True love can't be ignored'
Lyra was shocked to hear that but knew now was not the time to argue, their magic was not strong enough,
To the left stood a lavender unicorn. her magic was strong enough to cover the humans entire torso.
Before Lyra could ask twilight answered her question.

"For science!" twilight said with a truly adorkable expression on her face.

and with that the human flew backwards into a pile of hay that barely softened the blow. 

The human blacked out..

[6:00pm][P.N.V.time]
After several hours The human gained Consciousness again to find himself beside the still unconscious, yellow Pegasus
The human looked around he was in a empty room (besides Fluttershy) 
He heard sounds coming from the floor.
The human attempted to step forward only to make a loud creak.
These floors were meant for sixty to seventy pound ponies to walk across not one-hundred forty pound humans.

It took ten minutes for x to get to the staircase to listen in on their conversation, x poked his head through one of the rails
to observe.
The six ponies were conversing around a pony sized table eating cake.
It wasn't clear what the ponies were talking about but it seemed like Lyra was doing most of the talking.
The pink earth pony bit into the cake and then yelled 
"THE CAKE IS A LI-" pinkie discontinued her outburst and looked towards the staircase.
X made sure he couldn't be seen so he backed up.

"Ear flop, mane itch, tail curl..." pinkie said,,
"were being watched..." 
All the ponies looked up to the staircase now, trying to trace where pinkie was indicating too.

"How did she do that??" X whispered.

Just then X got poked on the shoulder by a yellow hoof, he turned slowly to see fluttershy right behind him he got startled 
and fell backwards down the stairs. "Oh.. did i startle you.. I'm sorry".. by now everypony was aware of his presence.

[9:00pm][P.N.V.time]
Finally the sun was setting on this day the six ponies left so that only Lyra and x remained.
"Ish wash sosh nic of apphle'ejack to lesh us staysh here the night" Lyra mumbled with cake in her mouth
"X didn't reply for a moment but then said:
"Are you friends usually so "abnormal" 

"coming from The Mysterious Creature from the forest" Lyra said jokingly.
X didn't reply again. It turned to the window.
"I also don't trust that purple unicorn, twilight was it?"

"You don't trust anypony" Lyra said.

"This is different, she said she knew the princess and she seem rather calm to see me.. maybe she a spy."
"Now wait a min-" Lyra stopped to think.. "you know that actually makes a lot of sense thinking of it now"

"Also I would like to be addressed as "he" not "it" or "creature" X said."
"Anyways, the plan. Lyra said.
"What do you have in mind?" said X

"There's a wedding happening in tomorrow, Princess Cadance and shining armor will be there along with princess Celestia herself" Lyra said, a wicked grin emerging on her face that almost scared the human himself.

"Well what about it?" X dared to ask..

"Well what a royal wedding wedding crashers."
"Lyra are you sure you want to do this, this could get us killed."
" We wont get caught.. with my magic, and your well.. Humanity I'm sure this will work well. I'll give you more info 
Tomorrow"

Before X could say anything Lyra shut the door in his face, 

"Wow, i never knew a "pony" could be so devilish.. or stupid" 

X shut his door leaving the barn in well deserved state of silence



















 









 




> A wedding to remember Part 1

[Author's Note: Well Here we are, Season Finale of mlp also, Hopefully, The last chapter of my "Very first fanfic"

As for other Fanfics(fimfics) I'm hurrying this up because I'm getting ready for making another one hopefully second really is best. so without further stalling let get this done!  also i added something to help you ponies from getting lost

with it a little you'll see what i mean when you read it]

Part 1 The Hunt for Knowledge 

"This was it.. The Day EveryPony would Be aware of my discovery The day i will sit on the throne of history.. Lyra.. The ,, Anthropologist.. Lyra The Great ... Lyra The- " Lyra's Thoughts were disturbed by a large white light, followed by a purple that stood for about thirty seconds then left the sky with a shy bright blue tone. Lyra looked out the fairly dirty barn window to a front row seat to something she was not expecting.

Across From ponyville and into the horizon stood a large Castle, Canterlot, Home of the unicorns, Castle of the princess, Lyra's
Birthplace. But this large castle that stood on the cliff side everyday was not what grabbed the lime green unicorns attention,
It was the airspace around it. Canterlot castle the once colorful castle with clearly visible shape was now covered in a large pink dome. The dome spanned across the area of the castle, the hollow dome made it almost impossible to shape out what was inside of it.

Lyra's door opened up to a familiar human, X. Lyra looked at the human then back out the window, blushing. It seemed hard for Lyra to look at him for anytime she did a clearly visible blush would grown on her, she never knew why feeling occurred nor did she want them to but it was clear the human feels them to.

The Human then joined Lyra at the window.
"Hey Lyra, What is that?"
The human pointed at the pink dome that covered the mountainside. Lyra was more fascinated by its fingers, how they worked. The human noticed this then curled his fingers into a fist. Lyra then followed the direction the fist was pointing to, though, she already knew what he meant

"Its a magic barrier, probably for the wedding."  "Lyra's Frown Explained exactly what was wrong.Then it hit him,
"Wait.. Were going there?.. in there? "
" Don't worry i know someone in the wedding, I'll be disguised as one of the bridesmaids." Lyra Indicated to a dress hung on the bed frame.

"Wow Lyra.,, That's great and all.. but there's a small problem.."
"And whats that?"
"Me..."
X walked up to the stained window 
"Chances are,, The barrier is not just there for the wedding... Celestia Must know of our plan"
Lyra Hopped off the bed trotted to the left of X 
"And what makes you say that?, nopo- no one else noes of our plan so unless you told her..." Lyra said jokingly .

X, now looking at Lyra sighed "This Celestia character, she has been ruling for over one thousand years or even more,
And you and i are only sixteen, I'm sure that any plan we think of... Celestia already has many counter measures in place."
Looking back at the barrier and back to Lyra.
" i want revenge yes, but this is insane. How do you plan on getting me even to this castle, chances are we would get caught before we can even get to the barrier, its not like I'm a pony-!"

X stopped after hearing what he just said but it was too late, Lyra;s sharp ears picked up the last words that came out of his regretting tongue, Lyra had another idea. 

"Oh, No don't even let that idea get to you head. I have no experience with magic but a transformation spell is totally out of the question!"

But it was too late, once a idea crossed Lyra, it will never leave her. 

Lyra Smiled as her horn began to glow. X tried to move but he was unable to, as if he was being held onto.
A purple string of magic circled him from the legs up, like a python, as the ribbon like raw magic almost covered his eyes
her horn glow started to dull and the magic began to fade. X was finally able to move again. he looked up and down and back at Lyra. 

"Um Lyra? I don't think your spell worked, I'm still a human." Lyra turned to him with a rather annoyed face 

"Well, duh, That's because i didn't do it yet, Even if i did turn you into a pony we would still need to sneak you though the barrier. You may fool the ponies but you wouldn't fool magic or Celestia"

X looked around, They were back at the abandoned camp. X looked for any reason they may still be here then back to see that Lyra was now headed into a large tent.

"So, um.. Lyra.. What exactly are we looking fo-"
"Shut up.." Lyra said suddenly, X cocked his head slightly and did as he was told.

X was curious, as to Lyra's abnormal attitude,, she seemed more... Crazy , Crazier then normal.
X's thought were Cut off by a talking Lyra, 

"This is the fist tent i was in.. this book" Lyra picked up a red book with her mouth and tossed it at the X's feet.
Instantly x stepped back, one leg lifted, He knew what it was..

"So you know what this is.. don't you?"
X gave a sky, sheepish nod.

"This is a black magic book, such magic only that darkest of my kind posses the ability to use... Why do you ask?"

Lyra's Angry face turned into a smile. The smile that X knew all too well, the smile he witnessed minutes ago when he thought he was going to become a pony, 

"We need this book. My magic is not strong enough to turn you into anything but a rat. and certainly cant open a gap in this barrier and will not stand a chance to three Alicorns at once."

"And?..."

"And The last time i tried to use this book it almost took over me." 
Lyra Blushed and opened the book. 

A voice familiar to Lyra was heard in the tent, this time x heard it too. 
"Well Well Well look who decided to show their face back in my pages, I thought i scared you off last time you opened me"

"I'm sorry i disobeyed you book of magic, I need you power yet again but this time not to defend."
Lyra said in a rhyme.

The book flipped on its own, violently.

"Lyra's Horn began to glow black again. her eyes turned white, then grey, then black. Lyra could see the fear in X's eyes"
Lyra felt her back bone breaking apart and rebuilding itself with wings. her coat and mane turned multiple shades of grey and black. Lyra's eyes went totally black, she could no longer see anything, 

"Ha Ha Heh I have you now, dumb horse i am now your maste- wait no what??" 
In the dark of her eyes a white light could be seen. Lyra couldn't move but the light stated to build a form of a hand, a human hand. 

"Oh Celestia, Its X.."
Lyra Yelled to the top of her lungs for help Until the hand reached out and grabbed her hoof.
Everything started to light up and soon everything began clear.

"Lyra fell from her standing position and looked around, She was back outside of the tent with x. Her sides were stinging,
she rubbed a hoof down her side to be stopped by something. She turned to see something she never expected to be still there, Wings. 
The Large green wing spanned larger then any pegasus wing she has ever seen. She then stopped and felt her head, 
her horn, it grew, at least four inches.

She.. she became a alicorn.. one with royalty, no. she was a fraud but.. it was fine she had power. oh so much power.. 

"And now for you.." Lyra Looked at x who was still traumatized by what he is looking at.
"Wait" X looked at his hand and look at Lyra's hoof, he wanted to run but he knew he couldn't outrun a pony. 
X tilted his head, taking his fate. 

Lyra than began to laugh "Wait, you honestly think its permanent?, This spell , like any other body altering spell only lasts  for three days. "

X looked up face turned from frown to smile to unsure. 
"Are you serious?" 

"I promise, you'll be back on two legs in three days." Lyra gave the most re assured smile she could produce, 
She knew she was right, but she has never tried such a skilled move since school, such lack of experience might turn him into a manticore instead of a pony, and he wouldn't want that, nor does he want to be a pony, in fact, he's about to become the one thing he hates more than anything on this planet. 

The irony of that was sickening to both of them.

Lyra's Newly modified horn began to glow as Lyra attempted to recite the words to the spell silently withing her head
This new found power made it easy to pull of such a complicated trick but such a spell couldn't be ignored, it still took some effort.

The Magic rapped X feet first then to the legs, X looked at Lyra who had her eyes closed the whole time.
"Are you sure this is going to work, I'm kinda nervous," 
Lyra opened one eye to look at x
"Honestly i have no idea, it should work but if it doesn't I'm sorry"

"Wow, Lyra thanks for the words of encoura-" X blacked out.


X opened his eyes to a grassy field. The sky was white as show and the grass was almost too healthy even for Equestria,
X tried to get onto two feet but couldn't. He was still a human but was in a crawling position.
Suddenly the sky instantly turned black, the moon expressed its glorious light upon the green grass.
To the left was a hill,Behind the hill on top of the hill, The black ponies stood,eyes red as blood. muttering, it wasn't clear what they were saying.
The ponies began to gallop towards x. X tried to get up but was still weighed down, he started to crawl. 
X knew he couldn't out run the ponies and soon they were on top of him

Their words were understandable now, Human, one said , kill it another whispered, let it go , a smaller one said. 
Just then, a bright light lit the sky. X found it Impossible to keep his eyes open. 

"Close your eye's" one said

"awaken" said another 

x did what he was told and closed his eye's 
"X, wake up.. are you dead?.. x wake up!"
X opened his eyes to find himself laying on a rock face to face with Lyra.

"Ugh. Yea I'm okay, Just have a headac-"
X stopped, He looked around and to Lyra, Lyra was looking at him up and down.
"X looked down to the inevitable, He no longer had feet instead, he had hoofs."
X rolled of the rock and onto all fours then collapsed
"Ugh, only three days.." X mumbled 

"Lets go, we need to get to the castle" 

Before X could say anything they were outside the barrier of magic

"Next time tell me when your going to teleport me somewhere"
X struggled to get onto four legs. Lyra levitated x up onto four legs again.

X"s new legs buckled then straightened out 
"You'll get used to it, let move it the wedding probably already started."
Lyra Touched her horn to the glass like barrier and a small portion of the barrier disappeared. 
Lyra pushed levitated x in front of the her and kissed him.. Blush fully turning her face green to cherry x was also blushing 
but was too confused to stop her.

When Lyra finished She pushed him into the dome and closed it, blush finally receding she walked away.

"I cant believe she just did that. She turns me into a pony, throws me in here to fend for myself, and kisses me."
X blushed Then swipes it away. 
As ex leaves the garden and onto the castle grounds he almost teared up, Canterlot castle he was here. But not here for a wedding but for revenge.
On top of a spire something caught his eyes he  jumped into a bush and poked his head out.
A dark blue Alicorn with a mane that glowed with color dark as the night sky, Princess Luna 

He didn't know what to do he just wanted to climb the spire and attack, he looked down at himself and back up to her.
"There was I way he could challenge such a ancient creature as her what was Lyra thinking?"
X's thoughts were cut off by a  voice louder then anything he ever heard.
"Who Goes there" 
"Twilight is that you? your the best mare and your late? "
"And is that the bride, what in all equestria?
X was too afraid to poke his head up again out of the bush 


X was relived to know the Alicorn wasn't talking to her. But it also made it clear that he shouldn't be there either. 
X poked his head out from the bush.
"those pony seems in a hurry maybe is should follow her"
X checked that area, no one was outside not even the guards, not even Luna was looking anymore. 
X jumped out of the push, stumbled, and got back up to chase after them.


X kept his distance from the two mares and followed far behind, not to far though, X had no idea where he was going. 
X stopped at a large door with golden rims and gems encrusted on it, the ribbons and balloons on the door indicated this was the wedding hall.

X hasn't even entered and is already giving second thoughts. the wedding crasher spot was already taken by twilight and the other Alicorn. Why twilight was doing this is unknown. so X sat and watched as the purple unicorn enters first and cries out "STOP!" 

The outburst was stopped by gasps and sighs, it was done, the wedding was over.
The pink alicorn then entered the crossfire.
"Because Its not you special day its mine!"  said the pink alicorn 
"Another wave of gasps could be heard from the room" 
X galloped as fast as his new legs would carry him into the room and into one of the crowds, no one seemed to notice him due to this outburst, Lyra was nowhere to be seen. 

X looked up to the front, Celestia, looking rather confused, along with five bridesmaids, none being Lyra. What really caught her eyes was the pink Alicorn, it looked exactly like the one he saw before. 

Silence Haunted the room for a moment until a familiar orange earth pony spoke up 
"I.. I don't understand how could there be two of em?"
All the ponies look at each other and back to the bride. 

"She's a Changeling, she takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off you love for them!"

The pink alicorn  bride's eyes turned green and a giant flash of light lit the room in green. 
"Great more ancient evil creatures.." X hummed to himself jokingly  " maybe if i play my cards right, she will get revenge for me."
Once the green light subsided the bride could now be seen ad to what she really is. 
This evil mare.. no, changeling stood taller than any of the other ponies in the hall it may even rival Celestia for true size
This alicorn changeling had a decaying coat the color of coal and eyes greener then moss a cracked, bent, and chipped horn on her head. It looked like a prime example of death itself. 

"Right you are, Princess, And as queen of the changelings it is up to me to find food for my subjects. Equestria has more love than any place i have encountered, My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it, and then we'll gain more power than we have ever dreamed of!"

"They'll never get the chance, shining armor's protection spell will keep them from even reaching us!"

this is getting nowhere x said in a whisper "but what did she mean changeling army? oh my this is the best revenge ever, i bet that .
if i came into here as a human nopony would notice me. "nopony" i cant believe i just said that.

The changelings horn began to glow
"Oh  i doubt that , right dear?" 

The changeling looked at shining armor who looked back at them with the most hypnotized look.
"How could he agree with that thing, i wish i could do something, ugh wheres Lyra"

"What did that thing say about the bridesmaids, if shes not up there with them then.. oh no.. what happened to Lyra?"

"Ever since i Took you place i have been feeding off shining armor's love for you, every moment he grows weaker and so does his spell, even now my minions are chipping at it."

Everyone gasped.

"I need to do something to stop this this is getting dangerous, i only wanted revenge on Celestia not revenge on everyone."
X stomped his hoof to the ground, no one noticed. 

"He may not be my husband, but he's under my total control now. and I'm sorry to say but unable to perform his duties as captain of the royal guard."
The Pitch black demon let out a evil laugh that followed by gasps and nervous breathing from the audience of ponies viewing it. 

"First we'll take canterlot Then all of Equestria!"

That was it, X was about to step forward when another voice came into the argument

"No, you wont, you may have made it impossible for shining armor to perform his spell but now that you have so foolishly 
revealed you true self, I shall protect my subjects.. FROM YOU" the voice came from none other than princess Celestia "

Celestia Flew into the air her horn glowed brighter then white itself and beam launched itself from her horn only to be met halfway be a equally bright beam of a different color.

X couldn't believe his eyes a alicorn versus alicorn fight, This, this is exactly what he wanted
X sat down and watched as his will was  played out. 

And in almost record time The changelings magic over powered Celetia's 

Bright lights lit up the room for a second. when the lights faded a tiara flung itself through the air followed by a large horse.
The tiara fell rather silently, Celestia, however did not. 

"X got up and ran to the princess. The princess was murmuring something to herself, X puts his ear to her mouth"

Celestia's words became clear
"Go,Human, You are the only one who can save us now." Celestia's words faded then went silent, she's dead.

X backed up then stumbled Six other ponies ran up to her, tears running down their eyes,

x had to run, this creature took down Celestia in on hit. X had to find Lyra, but what did Celestia mean you are the only one who can save us now. 

"How did she know i was human?" x looked down at himself, his dark green coat, deemed him equine.

As the six ponies ran out of the room, one of them said "Elements of harmony" X had no clue what that was so he ignored it 
First things first he had to find Lyra. 

"As X exited the castle, The ground shook and the pink barrier began to crack, on the other side were ponies.. no changelings, they were black colored decaying "things" and they were destroying the barrier" 

All the other ponies looked as their precious barrier fell and shattered into small magic shards....

i would write more but its..... well 11:00pm  i hope you guys like it because i put a lot of work near the end making it word for word. and im sorry for the people i know are gonna complain about celestia dieing.

As for spelling errors there shouldn't be a lot if there is I'm very sorry grammar probably a lot of errors.

[Authors Note: Well This is it.. The final chapter.. Please be warned, I put little thought into this second part however i already have the plot for this chapter all folded up. This chapter will cover EVERYTHING 
Yes This chapters called strings of the lyre and was originally Blood of the Alicorn, It took me a good three hours to think of that xD And you probably know why its called that. also i bet your dieing to know where Lyra has run off to and what is to happen of x and how will equestria run without their beloved princess... I guess you'll have to read to find out]

The sky was Pink, Pinker than the pink pony who skipped out of the castle with five other ponies. 
Crystal Remains of the once unbreakable Magic barrier was raining down from the sky like snow. The streets were covered in pink. Ponies were in a unstoppable state of panic as mysterious black figures rained down like meteors.
These "Changelings" Take the form of anypony you care for and feed from your love for said pony, at least, that's what the bride said.

X galloped through the pink powder, tripping several times on his new tail. The watch tower in which x first encountered the princess of the night was now barren. screams of ponies echoed through the streets of Canterlot. Without their princess, 
without the elements, without... Lyra... what is to happen to Equestria.

The City castle itself was large much less the city. Buildings Stood vigilantly over each other being a little bigger. The city suffered 
a major amount in a small time, Building set ablaze, Others. no longer standing.  X encountered many of the changelings 
however, they seemed not to notice this dull green colt.

X has been following the six "element bearers" for quite some time now. These Bearers are stronger than anypony he has encountered so far.

Canterlot tower {20 minutes in the changeling raid]

Canterlot Tower stood over all other sections of castle. Its stain glass windows and gem encrusted door indicates this tower is  very important. The blood and scratched walls also indicate this area is already contested.

x watched as the 6 ponies gallop towards the large tower door, dozens of changelings on their tails.
The ponies were so close up until the door opened and a dozen more changelings occupied the tower inside.
They captured the ponies and dragged them back to the castle's main entrance.

X was devastated, he wanted to fight, he couldn't... not with this body. X started to cry, this was the first time he has ever cried in a long time. He missed power, he missed everfree...he missed... Lyra.

Just then, a burst of pure energy sent all the changelings flying back. The energy shook Canterlot
ten seconds after the first. The blast was followed by another explosion, coming from the wedding hall.
This power was so strong it knocked all the changelings into the air but seemed to leave all the normal ponies alone.
The windows of Canterlot tower changed to all sorts of colors. Just as the glass turned green one of the windows broke and was followed by a larger changeling being thrown out of it.

Canterlot, out of all odds, was free once again. "could that be the true power of the elements?" x asked himself
he remembered he was alone and his green unicorn companion was still missing.

X looked down from the tower, all the ponies were heading through the main entrance. X was about to join them when a familiar voice spoke to him in his head.

"Please Help me" the weak voice whispered.
"Lyra!.. Lyra is that you?.. oh Celesti-god where are you?"
"I'm.. in the caves under Canterlot....  Cadance sent me down here... help me.. its so dark." the voice began to fade 
to a low hum, then.. silence.
"where are the caves Lyra.. Lyra..."
Nothing responded, instead the figure of Lyra appeared, no, this Lyra was a child, a filly.

X watched as the frames repeated like a record
"Lets go daddy, i wanna go play my lyre to the dead" 
a unseen voice then replied:
"Slow down pumpkin"
The filly Lyra would stop, then look in the direction of x and point towards canterlot graveyard.
she would point in that direction until x looked that way, then the scene would start again.
X had no idea what was going on but it was creeping him out. Its almost like a sort of paradox. X couldn't tell what was more creepy to him, Watching a loop in time occur right before his eyes, or the fact that a creepy filly Lyra was wanting him to go into this creepy graveyard.. on his own.

The Dark trees loomed over the damp, shadowy graves. The soil was dry each step hurt the bottom of X's bare hoof.
X was tired of being a pony he couldn't get used to it. He kept stumbling over his tail or his other hoof.;
"How does Lyra pull this off, Once i  find her she better turn me back." X mumbled trying to clench a non existing hand into a fist. 

The Graveyard went on for ages some graves were there for ages. X kept traveling until he stopped at a grave drastically larger than all the others, Its polished surface, its decorated soil. X, out of curiosity stepped up to the grave; Starswirl The Bearded, Father of the aniomorphic spell.
"Hm i wonder what that-" X was cut off by the soothing sound of a lyre.

The melody played Louder and louder. X had to figure out what was making that noise, he followed the sound deeper into the cemetery.

"I... must... find Lyra".... 
X has been adventuring through this endless graveyard maze for what felt like hours. The endless looping music was starting to annoy him, these filly' Lyras directing him to different places like it did before he entered
Each Piece of memory was different, but always ended in Lyra looking at X. For a while. 
X noticed the music coming from the lyre was becoming louder after each sighting of filly Lyra. was almost startled when a flash of light blinded him. When the light faded,Filly Lyra sat on one of the tombstones, lyre in hand. 

The filly Lyra was a clear and see through, like all the others, she was a recording of time, however, this one was different,
this one said nothing.

"Um Lyra... If you can hear this where are you taking me?" 
The filly unicorn said nothing, instead, she merely pointed further down the pass of gravestones and began to play her lyre, notes visibly coming from the Lyre and floating down the pass. X looked down the pass and back to Lyra who didn't disappear, instead, continued to play the lyre.

"Um.. thank you?" 
No answer.

The grave yard went on forever, it made x wonder if he was even in Canterlot anymore. The night sky covered the graveyard making it impossible to see if not for the floating musical notes.
The Notes floated gracefully in the windless pass, changing colors constantly. X noticed how the graveyard's tombstones 
were starting to decrease until all remaining stones had become unreadable due to age and could be confused for rocks.

A the tombstone finally stopped appearing the trees started to open, spread out, eventually disappear altogether.
X stood in blackness, even his magical music note companions faded into nothing. X stood there, in the darkness. 

"So you  wish to save me? He He You'll have to find me, so far you have been going in circles its getting boring" said a familiar yet.. different voice. 

"I bet you are going to ask who your speaking to.. well .. aren't you?"

"Who are you" X asked 

"Why, I'm Lyra.. the one your looking for.. your love

Just then a flicker of light appeared inside the light was a green unicorn, eyes orange as the promising sun, mane green as the grass after a summer's storm. all of these figures played in X's head like drums. X walked up to Lyra, his dignity holding him back from jumping on her. After a couple of steps, He heard .. music .. coming from Lyra the sound was the same as the sound that carried him through the forest. The song that x heard every time he saw Lyra's face.. but this time it was ruptured.. disturbed.. corrupted
the notes felt so wrong.. felt so.. fake. X backed up slowly but at a constant pace.
"Where are you going, aren't i what you came for? Don't leave me here!" Lyra started towards him

"Your not Lyra, The real Lyra doesn't reek of lies and death" The Lyra fell back onto her back legs and began to cry.
X turned from Lyra and walked away into the darkness, x turned around,, or at least what he thought was around, Lyra was gone. 

X continued to walk through the blackness smooth stringed music rang through his ears. He could see the darkness lighten
his walk turned into a trot and then into a gallop, X felt used to his body now and was no longer tripping.
X galloped. disregarding his aching Legs. As he got closer the darkness turned into a light grey and then into white and suddenly X found himself laying on open grass in a clearing. Forestry behind him meant he was out of the graveyard.
further into the horizon,Canterlot castle, smoke floating out of one of the spires, could he really have came this far in such little time?

Further ahead of him was the place he was looking for, The entrance to the canterlot mining caves.

The cave let out a low intimidating groan. X shivered as a cold gust of wind tickled his under coat. The melody X was 
following was starting to dimmer. "Come on Lyra, hold out.. just a little bit more" It seem almost as if Lyra heard him as the music resumed its previous volume. 

For every step the cave was becoming darker and for every step X was starting to lose hope. Just as all hope has seem to evaporated, X spotted three mares in dresses; One with a mane that mixes with blue and baby blue to make a toothpaste resemblance, her eyes shaded with a gloomy green aura. 
Beside the toothpaste pony, another mare with a pink mane and white coat sat on the cave floor, also with a green eye glow, in the middle of the two ponies, a bouquet of flowers, crumpled and thirsty propped on its side.


Further past the other two was a green unicorn with mint hair and a lyre above her head, It was Lyra. 
X galloped to her soft music until he was not more than a couple feet away. 
"Lyra!.. Lyra thank god i found you, are you alright?" 
Lyra looked up, green, glass like aura cover her eyes.
Lyra opened her mouth to speak: "Lonnnng live queen Chrysalissss!"
X could not believe what he was hearing, Lyra is a unicorn of Canterlot, she is much closer to the crown than most ponies of other cities, why would she be honoring chrysalis. 


"Long live chrysalis" the other ponies repeated. 
X couldn't believe it but it made sense. The voice, the words, the missing bridesmaids. They are hypnotized. 


"Don't worry Lyra i will save yo-"  a large rock collapsed the throat of the cave leaving X in a small pocket with the three ponies. 

X trotted up to the rubble to investigate.
"Lyra could probably lift this if she wasn't hypnotized" 

"Long live Chrysa-" 
"Yea yea i know" 

X clapped his two hoofs together.

He turned to see the ponies were now no more than 5 feet away, evil grins shed across their faces.



"What the hell.. Lyra.. what are you doing.. Lyra!" 

X felt a large stinging in his head, he blacked out.

X opened his eyes to see himself rapped up in "Dresses?" 
X looked around, two of the ponies were gone and only one remained, Lyra. Eyes greener than her mane. 
"Lyra.. If you can hear me.. You need to wake up.. I'm here... just fight it.." 
Lyra was silent, the lyre playing two notes frequently.

"You don't know how to play that do you?" 
Lyra looked up at X 

"The real Lyra's music can make even the princess bow, Lyra's music can move clouds and soften manticores.
That's the Lyra i have come to know and love, That's the Lyra i want back. 

Those words brought a tear to Lyra's eyes, green liquid rolled down her cheeks and onto the stone caves floor.
Lyra's eyes started to change back to its original orange. Lyra put her hoof to her head

"Ugh what happened? X?, Oh sweet Celestia! you came!" 

"Um yea, i came to rescue you." X's face was now redder than the setting sun.

"You came to rescue me? Then why are you tied up... in dresses?" Lyra's horn lit up and the dresses untied them selves. 

"So.. did you hear anything that i just said?.. you know.. about the lyre?"

"no, what did you say?" 

"You know what forget it" x gave a sigh in Relief. 

"So how did you find me?" Lyra said. 

"First, don't you want to hear about my revenge mission?" X said. He has so much to tell her he didn't even know where to start, 

"Well.shoot." Lyra said with a exited grin engraved on her face" 

"Well for one. the princess is dead..."

X watched as Lyra faced dropped to fear and disappointment. X noticed this and corrected himself 

"no.. No.. i actually didn't kill her. But the weird thing is when she was dieing, she told me she knew what i was.." 

Lyra's face turned to one of shock 
"wha.. what? how?"

" I don't know"
X continued with a large spanning story of what happened in the wedding to his journey through the grave yard, 
They shared laughs and fears knowing that neither of them had to admit their love for each other, 

Lyra's horn began to glow as the rubble crumbled to nothing more than dust. The walk out of the cave was shorter 
when beside Lyra. X stumbled on his tail and Lyra laughed. 

"Don't worry i will remove the spell and you'll be human again,"

X started to frown. "Actually , Lyra, i was wondering if there was a way you could pull off a Permanent version of this spell. X 
attempted to avoid Lyra's face and hide the blush of Embarrassment but X knew that Lyra was giving him the 
"I told you you'll like it look." 

X let out a large sigh. Lyra gave a little squeal and started talking about all the cool thing she want to show him in "Ponyville"

X attempted to avoid most of it until the bright light of the moon blinded both of them. Luna's work is truly amazin- 
X's words were cut off by a kiss under moonlight.

X was more prepared this time and decided to go with it, he loved Lyra and Lyra felt the same way for him. 
Lyra then took her lips away from X's.by now both of them were blushing like setting suns.

Lyra, holding back the blush came out and said:
"For the record, i did hear you back in the cave, and you'll always be.. my very special somepony...

The End.

Authors Note: Well.. that's.. something.. I know i know that was a really terrible ending some would say but honestly i thought it was a  really good place to land this fic. Do remember this is my first fimfic and to start of with a adventure Fanfic takes a lot of patience i know i know. Im just need to get ready for other project and this one is done i can assure you

I hope you enjoyed it as much as i did making it once again yea thank you for the helpful pointers also i do apologize if i added any shipping that you don't like i didn't title it a romance because.. well ... its not a romance. 

Im telling you from now, this is the last time im doing a fimfic this long.. no more adventure.. perhaps i will make a short story.. like a Conversion Bureau story.. those are quite easy.. maybe I'll work on that right now....
