> Chapter 1: Zekrom's Feelings

Princess Celestia was just starting to raise her sun when Zekrom woke up. He was going to do it today: he was going to tell Reshiram a well-hidden secret he wanted to tell her for a long time. He got up and trotted over to Twilight's desk to get a piece of parchment and a quill. He scribbled a note to Reshiram, then trotted out the door to start piecing his plan together. As he closed the door, Twilight heard him leave and she asked, "Zekrom? Where are you going?" 



An hour later, Reshiram woke up and went downstairs. "Good morning, Twilight." 

"Hey, Reshiram." Twilight said, looking up from her book. She levitated a piece of parchment with writing scribbled on it. "Somepony left this for you."

Reshiram took the paper from her. She read it out-loud.

"Dear Reshiram, I would be honored if you came to Canterlot Gardens tonight at 8:00. I would like to tell you something."

"Who signed it?" Twilight asked.

"There is no signature." Reshiram replied. "Please, for the love of all things sweet and innocent, and for the love of Arceus let in not be Discord."

It's been a few months since Reshiram ended up in Equestria and helped Twilight Sparkle and her friends stop the master of chaos, but she still has nightmares of Discord returning and forcing her to marry him.

"I think Princess Celestia would have alerted us if Discord was free after only a few months." Twilight pointed out.

"Good point." Reshiram said "Say, where's Zekrom?"

"He left early this morning." Twilight answered. "I don't know where he went, though. You should probably get a dress from Rarity for this thing."

"Good idea." Reshiram said, turning to the door. 



"Hello, Reshiram!" Rarity greeted.  

"Hey, Rarity. Do you think you could make me a dress? You mentioned sometime that you wanted to."

"I did, and I would be honored!" Rarity replied excitedly. "What's the occasion?"

Reshiram showed the fashionista the note she received. Rarity read it intently. 

"Interesting." she noted. "I'll get to work right away! It will be ready after lunch."

"Thanks, Rarity." Reshiram said. 



After lunch at Applejack's farm, Reshiram went back to Rarity's boutique. When she came out, she levitated a beautiful black dress with ruby red and blue stars on it. The shade of blue Rarity used reminded Reshiram of a strange blue box she saw one time. 

It was only 1:00, so Reshiram went back to Twilight's house to read and relax. Time flew by fast, and before she knew it, it was 7:00. So she hopped on the Friendship Express to Canterlot. Reshiram made her way to the Gardens with memories of Discord haunting her. She really hoped it wasn't him that lured her here. "H-hello?" she stammered.

She reached an area with a table under a tree. "Weird." she said.

Some grass rustled as she sat down at the table. Some spaghetti was on the table, still hot. Reshiram was uncertain if she should take a bite.

A figure came out of the rustling grass. Reshiram half expected music to play in her head, just like back in Unova whenever she would find herself in a Pokemon battle. That didn't happen, but she chuckled at the memory. Her attention drifted back to the strange figure. It was a stallion wearing a white tux with a blue bowtie. What startled Reshiram was the fact that she knew who this stallion was. 

"Z-zekrom?!" 

"H-hey Reshiram." Zekrom said. He sat down and began to eat. Reshiram did the same. When they finished eating and wiping their muzzles, Zekrom blushed heavily.

"I-is something wrong?" Reshiram asked. She was blushing, too.

"Well, I wanted to asked you something...." Zekrom began.

Reshiram tilted her head to the side in a curious manner. Where is he going with this?

Zekrom pulled a rose out of the ground and levitated it towards Reshiram. Reshiram ended up looking at it like it was an alien object, like that blue box. There was something odd about that box.... 

"Reshiram, w-would you be my special somepony?" Zekrom forced out the question. He couldn't hold it in any longer. He looked at Reshiram innocently.

Reshiram couldn't believe it. She didn't know what to say and looked at Zekrom in shock. She did the first thing that came to her mind: she got up and gave Zekrom the biggest hug in the universe.

"I-is that a yes?" Zekrom asked.

"Yes!" Reshiram said. She was officially the happiest pony ever.

Zekrom was also very happy, so much so that he and Reshiram shared their first kiss.

"I love you." Reshiram said after the kiss.

"I love you, too." Zekrom replied.
> Chapter 2: The Dream Message

Reshiram and Zekrom returned to Ponyville after their date. It was late, and both of them were tired.

"Before I go to sleep, I always wonder what I will dream about." Zekrom said. "Sometimes, the dreams end up being about you."

"Aww!" Reshiram cooed. "That happens to me, too. Maybe it will happen tonight!"

"I hope so." Zekrom said. "Goodnight, my love."

"Goodnight, Zekrom." Reshiram replied sleepily. 



Reshiram's dream, to her dismay, was not about Zekrom. In fact, it was very strange, and Reshiram felt like it wasn't just a dream, but a message. A prediction of the future.

It started out with Discord. Reshiram's dream-self was about to buck him in the face. But before she could, Discord's expression grew sad as he snapped his fingers, altering the dream to show Reshiram what she needed to see. 

In the vision, Reshiram was at the edge of the Everfree Forest, feeding a carrot to a bunny. She was admiring the bunny's cuteness when a cry emitted from the forest. Reshiram saw herself gallop into the forest to investigate the sound. She saw her facial expression grow into one of shock. Then there was a randomized sequence of images.

Reshiram saw Zekrom's confused and shocked face, the Ponyville schoolhouse, an excited Twilight Sparkle, the Cutie Mark Crusader clubhouse, a Luxray, a white Unicorn mare she didn't recognize, a tan Unicorn mare that reminded her of her friend Virizion, the Elements of Harmony, that weird blue box, and a weird steel building. The building was then emitting a pink aura that looked like a Unicorn's magic. What did all of these things have in common? What did they mean? Did they even mean anything? Reshiram was so confused. Then she woke up. 



"What does it even mean?" Reshiram questioned. 

"What does what mean?" 

Reshiram turned to the door to see Zekrom standing there. "Oh, I just had this weird dream." she told him. 

"Care to share?" Zekrom asked.

"After breakfast, maybe." Reshiram replied. 

Zekrom smiled. "We better get going, then. I'll take you to Sugarcube Corner."

Reshiram got up and kissed his cheek. "Thanks." she said. 



Ponyville was rather busy today. Everypony was trotting around town, enjoying the fresh air and running their errands. Reshiram and Zekrom ran into the mailmare on the way to Sugarcube Corner, who just so happened to be Reshiram's friend Derpy. 

"Hi, Reshiram! Hi, Zekrom!" the gray Pegasus mare greeted.

"Hey, Derpy. What's up?" Reshiram asked.

"Nothing much." Derpy said. "Just delivering mail, as usual. But later, me and the Doctor are going to Manehattan! Dinky and I are both super exited!"

Derpy was referring to the first stallion Reshiram met when she first came to Ponyville, the brown Earth Pony with the hourglass Cutie Mark. She had also mentioned her daughter, a cute Unicorn filly with gold eyes just like her mother.

"That's great! I hope you guys have fun!" Reshiram said.

"Why does that stallion insist on being called the Doctor?" Zekrom asked.

"I have no idea!" Derpy said. "He's always a little strange. As if the TARDIS wasn't strange enough...."

"The what?" Zekrom asked.

Derpy covered her mouth in shock. "Oh, no! The Doctor said I shouldn't tell anypony about that!"

"Why?" Reshiram asked.

"I don't know, but you don't want to see him when he's angry." Derpy said. She looked a little scared.

"Derpy, it will be okay." Reshiram replied. "I'll save you a muffin from Sugarcube Corner if that will make you feel better."

"Thanks, Reshiram!" Derpy said, instantly feeling better. "I have to get back to work, so I'll see you later!" 



As they waited for their chocolate chip muffins and cinnamon rolls to arrive, Reshiram told Zekrom about her dream. Zekrom was thoroughly perplexed.

"That might be the weirdest thing since Discord." he said.

"Discord is pretty weird." Reshiram replied.

"Wasn't he in your dream?" Zekrom asked.

"Only for a brief second before I could buck him in the face." Reshiram said. Zekrom had a good laugh at that one.

After finishing breakfast, Reshiram wrapped up an extra muffin to take to Derpy. After she delivered the muffin, she would be going to Fluttershy's house.
> Chapter 3: Cry From the Everfree

Reshiram scanned Ponyville, looking for Derpy. She was looking up into the sky for her when she bumped into somepony.

"Sorry." she said.

"Don't apologize." said the pony. Reshiram looked at the pony, and it turned out it was Derpy's friend the Doctor.

"Hello, Reshiram." he said in his strange accent.

"Hi, Doctor. Have you seen Derpy?" Reshiram asked.

"Funny, I was going to ask you the same thing!" the Doctor said.

"Okay...." Reshiram replied. The Doctor was being a tiny bit strange again. "Maybe we can look together, I have something to give her."

"Right then! Allons-y!" the Doctor replied. He trotted away.

As soon as he left, Derpy landed where he was standing. Dinky was on her back. "Hey, Reshiram!" the Unicorn filly greeted.

"Hi Dinky. Here's your muffin, Derpy." Reshiram said. Derpy took the bag and grinned.

"Oh, there you are, Derpy!" the Doctor said. "Ready to go to Manehattan?"

"Yep!" Derpy replied. "Bye Reshiram!"

"Have fun!" Reshiram said. She watched the three ponies trot away toward that strange blue box. After they went inside, the box disappeared, making a strange but beautiful sound as it did. Reshiram's eyes widened. "What in the world of Giratina....?" 



"Thanks for coming along to help with my animals, Reshiram." Fluttershy said.

"No problem, Fluttershy." Reshiram replied. "We're still going to the spa after this, right?"

"Of course!" Fluttershy answered while holding open the door to her cottage. All of Fluttershy's animals rushed to the door to greet her and Reshiram. "Here are the carrots for the bunnies." Fluttershy said, hoofing over a brown sack. Reshiram levitated the sack off the ground and began distributing the carrots out between each of Fluttershy's rabbits. The bunnies gave Reshiram the cutest and happiest face when they received their treat. The white Alicorn smiled at them. She fed the rest of Fluttershy's animals while the yellow Pegasus tidied everything up.

The two ponies were finishing up when something scary happened: a scream came from outside!

"What was that?" Reshiram asked.

"What was what?" Fluttershy questioned. She was thoroughly perplexed.

"Did you not hear that scream?" Reshiram asked.

Fluttershy shook her head. Reshiram thought the yellow Pegasus thought that she was going crazy.

"I'm going to go investigate." Reshiram said. "It sounded like it came from the forest."

"Y-you mean the E-everfree Forest?" Fluttershy stammered.

Reshiram trotted out the door just as Fluttershy said, "Be careful!!" 



The white Alicorn galloped straight into the heart of the forest. The trees rushed by as she raced toward the source of the sound. Reshiram was really worried because the scream sounded like a foal's cry. It was also scary because this whole rushing into the forest thing was just like her dream. Reshiram rushed past the hut that belonged to a Zebra called Zecora and found herself in a particularly dark area of the forest. She heard the howls from Timberwolves and saw a Parasprite or two. 

She galloped for what felt like ages and grew exhausted. But just when she was about to collapse onto the ground, she found what she was looking for. The origin of the sound. It shocked Reshiram, and it was going to change her life forever. Little did she know that not only would it change her life, but it would change everypony's lives and could change the fate of Equestria itself.
> Chapter 4: A Filly in Need
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

What was on the ground in front of Reshiram confirmed that the sound was indeed a crying foal. It was a very small filly, her coat colored like fresh snow. Her mane was wavy and tri-colored, just like Princess Celestia's, but the colors were different. The colors were teal, carmine(A dark shade of pink, almost like magenta.), and red instead of blue, green, and pink. Black circles enveloped the foal's blue eyes, which were almost as bright as Reshiram's. The white Alicorn's heart was melting, the filly was adorable!

"Well, who in the world of Giratina would leave such an adorable foal out here in the forest?" Reshiram asked, using her magic to levitate the foal towards her. The filly immediately stopped crying and giggled as she swatted at the red aura that was Reshiram's magic. She flapped her wings in excitement and giggled some more. This startled Reshiram, she didn't even see the foal's wings until now. This made her take a closer look. At first she thought the filly was a Unicorn, but she was apparently an Alicorn. She also didn't have one pair of wings: she had two pairs of wings. The wingtips were midnight blue in color, similar to Princess Celestia's sister, Princess Luna. When the wings weren't being used, they folded neatly on top of each other. Reshiram did not know how to react to this. But she knew what she was going to do.

"I'm going to take you home." Reshiram said to the foal. The filly smiled at Reshiram in response. She must have been an orphan, and must have liked the thought of being somewhere that's not a dark, somewhat scary forest. Who would just leave a foal in a place like this? How long was she here? It was questions like these that ran through Reshiram's head as she made her way out of the forest.



Reshiram wasn't sure if she wanted anypony to know about her discovery. Especially Zekrom. He was going to flip out. So she sneaked back to Fluttershy's house to get a blanket for the filly. She didn't really have to sneak, for Fluttershy wasn't even home. "Oh, no." Reshiram said. "I hope she didn't go to the spa without me. Actually, at this rate, I might not be able to make it." she added to herself. Once she found a blanket, she wrapped up the filly inside, making sure she was cozy. Then Reshiram high-tailed it back to Twilight's house. Nopony seemed to question her rush. She did run into Derpy and the Doctor again and quickly said hi. How they were back from Manehattan so quickly Reshiram had no idea. What's so special about that blue box?

She burst into Twilight's house and shut the door rather loudly behind her. She raced up to her room and placed the filly on her bed. Twilight was really nice to let her and Zekrom use the guest rooms in the library. She rushed back downstairs to the bookshelves, surely in a library with as much books as Twilight's would have some kind of novel detailing filly care. Reshiram actually found some helpful-looking books and went back upstairs to read them. But as soon as she lay down to begin reading the first one, the door opened downstairs. That could only mean one thing: Zekrom and Twilight were back from running errands. Reshiram accidentally screamed a little in being startled at their sudden arrival. 

This of course caused Zekrom to race up to her room in worry. "Reshiram? Is something wrong?"

Reshiram just sat on the bed, frozen with fear. She sat in a way that Zekrom couldn't see the bundled up blanket that contained the filly. Or so she thought. 

"What's that behind you?" Zekrom asked. 

"Oh, n-nothing much. Just a rolled up blanket." Reshiram said nervously. As soon as she said that though, the filly woke up and started sobbing. Zekrom looked like he was going to pass out. Reshiram started to cry, too, thinking that Zekrom might do the worst.

Zekrom collected himself and sat on the bed next to Reshiram, wrapping a wing around her. "Care to explain?" he asked. His tone wasn't angry or worried, in fact, he sounded quite calm. This calmed Reshiram, too. The white Alicorn told her coltfriend everything, even though she was still sobbing a little.

The black Alicorn took in the information from his marefriend, then asked, "May I see her?"

Reshiram levitated the filly into Zekrom's lap. Zekrom got his first look at the filly. The filly looked at her new dad and giggled. Zekrom smiled back. "She's adorable." he said. "She needs a name."

Reshiram looked at him. "Y-you're not mad?" she asked, tears still in her eyes.

Zekrom shook his head. "Of course not. I've.... kind of always wanted a kid."

Reshiram's eyes widened. She smiled and gave Zekrom a big hug. As soon as she did that, she thought of the perfect name for the filly.

Meanwhile, Twilight was standing in the doorway, her jaw dropped and no idea what was going on.
> Chapter 5: Auntie Twilight and First Day At School

"What's....going....on?" Twilight asked.

Reshiram and Zekrom looked up at Twilight in confusion.

"I got the part about you finding the filly, and I know this may sound like a weird question, but....are you two....dating?" Twilight questioned.

Reshiram and Zekrom looked at each other and nodded slowly.

"Sorry, Twilight, I thought I told you." Reshiram said worriedly.

"It's fine." Twilight said before taking some deep breaths to collect herself. She has been getting too many surprises today. She trotted into the room to look at the filly. She just couldn't wrap her head around the whole situation. She honestly couldn't believe it: Reshiram and Zekrom were dating, and they were going of take care of a filly. Twilight is going to be the filly's aunt. She smiled at the filly, but she had a headache. She put a hoof to her forehead and trotted out of the room.

"Well, I did say they would make a good couple." 



Reshiram and Zekrom took special care of their daughter ever since that crazy day. Soon enough, the filly was ready for her first day of school. Reshiram packed her daughter's lunch and saddlebags, then walked her to the schoolhouse. "Have a fantastic first day." Reshiram told her daughter when they arrived.

"Thanks, mom." the filly said. She walked into the schoolhouse, nervous but excited.

"Alright, everypony, take your seats! Class is now in session!" a magenta mare instructed. She turned to the door and saw her new student.

"Hello, there!" she greeted. "You must be our new student. I'm Miss Cheerlie, your teacher."

Cheerlie turned to the class. "Okay, everypony, we have a new student today! Can you tell us your name?" she asked the filly.

"I'm Oreo Mist." the filly said shyly.

"HI, OREO MIST!" the class greeted.

"Why don't you take that empty seat between Applebloom and Sweetie Belle." Cheerlie suggested. "Will you two raise a hoof?"

A yellow Earth Pony filly with a red bow in her strawberry mane and a white Unicorn filly with a pink and purple mane both raised their hooves. Oreo Mist took the seat in between them, ready to start. She smiled nervously at the two fillies she sat between.

"Alright, let's start with math today." Cheerlie said.

Everypony grabbed their pencils and paper from their saddlebags. As Oreo Mist grabbed her supplies, the filly known as Applebloom realized something: the new filly was a blank flank, just like her. She looked at Sweetie Belle and her other friend Scootaloo, an orange Pegasus filly with a purple mane. She scribbled a note to them. It said: "We should ask her to join the Crusaders." Sweetie Belle scribbled "That's not a bad idea." then passed the note to Scootaloo. Scootaloo scanned the paper then gave her friends a grin. "Let's ask her during lunch." she wrote.
> Chapter 6: Introducing the Cutie Mark Crusaders!

Eventually, it was time for lunch. Everypony broke out their lunches and headed outside to eat. Oreo Mist sat at a table and looked at her lunch inside its brown paper bag. Reshiram had made her a cheese sandwich, and added in a pack of crackers and a cupcake from Sugarcube Corner. Yum! 

Oreo Mist was really hungry and was paying more attention to her food rather than what was going on around her. So she was a little startled when three fillies sat down across from her. "Hi!" they said.

Oreo Mist recognized two of the fillies, they were the ones she sat in between. "Oh....hi." she said shyly. "You're Applebloom and Sweetie Belle, right?"

"Yup!" the yellow filly, Applebloom, replied. "But ya can't forget Scootaloo!" she added, referring to the orange Pegasus filly that was with them.

"Hello." Scootaloo said.

"Nice to meet you, Scootaloo." Oreo Mist replied. "Did....you guys need something?"

"Well, we did want to ask you something...." Sweetie Belle began.

Oreo Mist tilted her head to the side in a curious manner. "What did you want to know?" she asked.

"Well, we noticed that ya didn't have a Cutie Mark yet." Applebloom said.

"What do Cutie Marks have to do with anything?" Oreo Mist questioned.

"You see, we don't have our Cutie Marks either...." Scootaloo answered.

"An' we started this club ta earn our Cutie Marks and help other ponies earn theirs!" Applebloom added.

"Yeah!" Sweetie Belle said. 

"We're the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" the three fillies said in unison while bumping hooves.

"The Cutie Mark Crusaders?" Oreo Mist asked.

"Yeah!" Applebloom said. "We wanted ta know if ya wanted to join the Crusade, since ya don't have a Cutie Mark yet."

"So you wanna join?" Sweetie Belle asked. She had a very excited look on her face.

"It does sound interesting."Oreo Mist said. She was really considering joining the club. But before she could say anything else, somepony interrupted.

"Oh, trying to get the newbie in your lame little club?" The voice sounded snobby and mean. Oreo Mist turned around and saw two other Earth Pony fillies that were in her class. One was pinkish-purple with a purple and white mane. She wore a tiara on her head and had one for a Cutie Mark. The other filly was gray, her mane a lighter shade of gray. She wore blue-framed glasses and had a spoon with a heart on it for a Cutie Mark. Oreo Mist turned to the Crusaders. Sweetie Belle and Applebloom looked a little scared, but Scootaloo looked just plain unamused. Oreo Mist just had a confused look on her face. What is going on? 



"Uh....who are you guys?" Oreo Mist asked the two newcomers.

"I can't believe you don't know already!" the pink-purple one said. "I'm none other than Diamond Tiara. My dad is super rich! This is my lovely acquaintance, Silver Spoon."

"Yes, and you probably shouldn't side yourself with these....uh.... lame-os." Silver Spoon added. "If you want to be popular like us, that is...."

"And I know you want to popular, so you should hang out with us!" Diamond Tiara said.

"Bump, bump, sugar-lump, rump!" the two fillies cheered while performing a strange hoofshake. Oreo Mist raised an eyebrow.

"So what's your choice? Popularity and fabulousity with us or being lame with the lame blank flanks?" Diamond Tiara asked. 

"Will you just leave her alone?!" Scootaloo yelled angrily.

Oreo Mist had an unamused face on. She didn't really like Diamond Tiara. She looked at Silver Spoon. She actually had a sorry expression on her face. Oreo Mist actually felt a little bad for her. But then she looked over at the Crusaders. Sweetie Belle was on the verge of tears. Applebloom was curled up in a ball, trying to shut out Diamond Tiara's monstrous behavior. Oreo Mist made her decision. She was about to politely decline Diamond Tiara's offer when the snobby filly started to taunt the Crusaders some more.

"Aww, are you guys gonna cry? You three really are crybabies!"

Oreo Mist has really had enough, so much so that her magic decided to teach Diamond Tiara a lesson. Everypony watched in shock as Diamond Tiara turned into a tree and Silver Spoon turned into an orange. Anypony on the school campus turned into a random object. 

"OREO, SNAP OUT OF IT!!!!" Sweetie Belle yelled over all the commotion.

"Huh?" Oreo Mist questioned, thus causing her to snap out of it. Everything slowly turned back to normal after that. Oreo Mist looked at the scene she created in sheer horror. "OH MY CELESTIA!!"

"Oreo Mist! What have you done?!" Cheerlie asked angrily.

"Miss Cheerlie, I am SO SORRY!!" Oreo Mist wailed. "I don't know what just happened! It's just....Diamond Tiara was being mean to Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo, and I....I...." she trailed off and started to cry a little.

Everypony looked sadly at Oreo Mist, then angrily at Diamond Tiara, who was no longer a tree. Cheerlie wrapped her hooves around the crying Alicorn filly. "It's going to be okay." the magenta mare said. "First days of school are always tough, but the days after always get better."

"I'm...I'm....sorry, everypony...." Oreo Mist sobbed. "I'm....so....sorry....I really am...." 

"Diamond Tiara, see me after school is over." Cheerlie instructed.

"Yes, Miss Cheerlie." Diamond Tiara replied, rolling her eyes.

"Let's go back to class and forget this happened, everypony." Cheerlie said.

> Chapter 7: Off to Sweet Apple Acres!

After the dust settled and school ended, Oreo Mist was approached by the Cutie Mark Crusaders. "Did ya think 'bout becomin' a Crusader?" Applebloom asked excitedly.

Oreo Mist nodded and smiled. "I have, and I am happy to announce the verdict. I hereby declare my response to your offer: the answer is yes, I would like to pledge myself as a Cutie Mark Crusader."

"Really?!" Scootaloo asked in bewilderment.

"Of course!" Oreo Mist replied.

"YAY!!!!" Sweetie Belle squeaked.

Awkward silence.

"Sorry." Sweetie Belle said. "Did I overdo it? I was just so happy!"

"I don't blame you for being happy." Oreo Mist replied. "I'm just as excited as you are!"

"Where didja learn all dat fancy vocabulary?" Applebloom asked.

"My mom knows this stallion that uses fancy words like that." Oreo Mist explained. "Dinky and her mom know him, too. He's called the Doctor. I don't know why he calls himself that. Why 'Doctor'? Doctor....Who?"

"I think I've heard of him." Sweetie Belle said.

"We can talk 'bout that later." Applebloom said. "Right now, we need to prepare for the initiation!"

"You're right!" Scootaloo replied.

"What is requested of me?" Oreo Mist asked.

"For right now, you just need ta come to our clubhouse at Sweet Apple Acres." Applebloom replied.

"Okay!" Oreo mist said. "I should probably inform my mother of my whereabouts first, however."

"That's okay!" Scootaloo said. "We'll see you there!" 



Oreo Mist galloped home as fast as she could. "Mom?" she called as she trotted inside.

"Hi, Oreo Mist!" Twilight greeted.

"Greetings, Aunt Twilight." Oreo Mist replied. "Do you know the whereabouts of my mother?"

"She's out running errands." Twilight answered. "You don't have to use such vocabulary, though."

"I'm fully aware of that, but I am afraid it has morphed into a habit." Oreo Mist said. 

"There really isn't anything wrong with using higher-level words." Twilight replied. As a librarian, she was proud of Oreo Mist for using such words. "Why don't you tell me about your day?"

"Dear me, it was rather eventful." Oreo Mist began. "First days always are, so I've heard. But I made some friends today, and they want me to go to Sweet Apple Acres."

"Would those friends be the Cutie Mark Crusaders, by any chance?" Twilight asked.

"How did you know?" Oreo Mist questioned.

"Applebloom is my friend Applejack's little sister, as Sweetie Belle is to my friend Rarity." the lavender Unicorn explained.

"Interesting." the white Alicorn filly said. "But today, these two fillies called Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were being mean to the Crusaders, and I got really mad at them...."

"You didn't do anything bad, did you?" Twilight asked worriedly. 

"I....really don't know." Oreo Mist said sadly. "My magic just went out of control for some reason and I couldn't stop it...."

"You had a magic surge." Twilight explained. "They're not uncommon for Unicorn and Alicorn fillies your age. I had one when I was first getting into Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns."

"Really?" Oreo Mist asked.

"Really." Twilight said. "I'll never forget that day...."

Twilight snapped herself back to the present. "Tell you what: I'll take you to Sweet Apple Acres. How does that sound?"

"Thank you, Aunt Twilight!" Oreo Mist said, hugging the lavender Unicorn. 

"You know you don't have to call me Aunt, right?" Twilight asked.

"I know, but it has become a habit." Oreo Mist replied. "But what are we waiting for? Allons-y!" Oreo Mist trotted toward the door. Twilight inwardly chuckled at the filly's imitation of that strange Doctor Whooves.
> Chapter 8: Initiation

Oreo Mist galloped way ahead of Twilight the whole way to Sweet Apple Acres. She was that exited! 

"Oreo Mist! There's no need to run!" Twilight yelled.

"There's an awful lot of running to be done, Aunt Twilight!" Oreo Mist called back.

Twilight smiled at the filly's antics and quickened her pace. Before either of them knew it, they had arrived. Applejack was standing there, taking a short break from her farm duties when the two trotted up.

"Howdy, Oreo Mist! Howdy, Twilight!" the country mare greeted, waving her Stetson.

"Nice to see you, Applejack." Twilight replied. 

"Where's Applebloom?" Oreo Mist asked.

Applejack was just about to respond when the yellow filly herself excitedly trotted behind her. "Oreo Mist!! Ya made it!!"

"Of course I did!" Oreo Mist replied.

"Well, now that ya here, just follow me to our clubhouse!" Applebloom instructed.

Twilight and Applejack giggled slightly as the two fillies galloped of toward a treehouse in the distance. 



"You actually came!!" Sweetie Belle squeaked excitedly as Applebloom and Oreo Mist stepped inside the clubhouse.

"Nice clubhouse." Oreo Mist commented.

"Thanks!" Applebloom said. "It used ta belong ta Applejack, but after I fixted it up all by maself, she let us use it for our Crusader meetings!"

"You repaired it all by yourself?!" Oreo Mist questioned.

"Yup!" Applebloom replied proudly.

"I'm thoroughly surprised that you don't already have a Cutie Mark in construction." Oreo Mist said. But she, for some reason, said it inside her head, so nopony else heard it but her. She did say, "Wow." out-loud, however.

There wasn't much furniture, but there were some interesting things inside the clubhouse, including a map of Ponyville and a telescope. Oreo Mist was given a tour while Scootaloo added a drawing of her to the roll chart. After they were done with that, Oreo Mist pledged herself as a Cutie Mark Crusader. 

"Whew! We really need to revise that initiation speech. But we made this for ya." Applebloom said after the initiation was over. She hoofed over a red cape with the Cutie Mark Crusader emblem on it. Oreo Mist studied it.

"Do you like it?" Sweetie Belle asked. "I made it myself!" 

"Your skills in sewing are rather brilliant, Sweetie Belle." Oreo Mist replied. Sweetie Belle squeed as the new Crusader donned her cape. "It's cozy!" Oreo Mist said.

"So now that Oreo Mist is a Crusader, what are we doing to get our Cutie Marks today?" Scootaloo asked excitedly.

Applebloom sat on the 'Great Idea Spot' to think of ideas. As soon as she did, Applejack's voice was heard calling Applebloom for dinner. 

"Shucks, y'all. I gotta go." Applebloom said sadly.

"Aw, dang it!" Sweetie Belle said.

The Crusaders climbed out of the clubhouse and trotted their separate ways. Oreo Mist stuck with Sweetie Belle, however. She wasn't ready to go home yet. 
> Chapter 9: Meeting Rarity

"Are you sure you're allowed to stay with me?" Sweetie Belle asked skeptically.

"Absolutely!" Oreo Mist replied. "Aunt Twilight said that I have to come back when the sun is at the horizon." 

The two fillies checked the placement of the sun. Celestia had only just begun to bring it down, but she had brought it down rather far already.

"Okay.... if you say so." Sweetie Belle said.

"So....now what are we gonna do?" Oreo Mist asked.

"Let's go back to my house!" Sweetie Belle suggested.

"OK!" Oreo Mist replied. The two fillies raced through a sleepy Ponyville. Sweetie Belle began to slow down when a carousel-shaped building was in sight.

"Ta-da!" she announced. "Carousel Boutique!"'

"You reside in a boutique?" Oreo Mist questioned.

"Yeah!" Sweetie Belle said. "The bottom floor is the boutique itself, and the second floor is our house!"

"Our?" Oreo Mist asked.

"Me and my sister." Sweetie Belle explained.

"Oh! I knew that." Oreo Mist said sheepishly as the two fillies trotted inside. 



"Whoa."

Oreo Mist marveled at the boutique and it's contents. She eyed the mannequins. Some were bare, but others had the most beautiful dresses, the most dashing tuxedos, and a variety of really cool accessories, most made with shiny metallic fabrics and sparkling jewels. Oreo Mist's eyes darted over to a scarf. It was a really simple scarf with no shiny fabric or jewels. It was, however, the longest scarf to ever exist in the universe. It was wrapped around the mannequin several times so it wouldn't touch the floor. Oreo Mist swore she saw a small tag on it saying "Property of Doctor Whooves." A sign next to the scarf said "Replica of the 4th Doctor's scarf: 90 bits."

"That looks like the coziest scarf in the universe." Oreo Mist said.

"Yeah, it does!" Sweetie Belle replied. Then she remembered something. "Oh! I'll be right back. It's my turn to feed Opal today." She trotted out of the room.

"OK....?" Oreo Mist said skeptically. It was then she noticed a white cat eyeing the super-long scarf. The cat noticed her at the same time.

"Oh!" Oreo Mist said. "Are you Opal?"

The cat meowed and walked over to Oreo Mist, rubbing her affectionately. "Aww...." Oreo Mist said.

Sweetie Belle trotted back into the room and her jaw dropped. 

"What?" Oreo Mist asked.

Sweetie Belle closed her jaw. "Nothing." she said. "It's just that Opal doesn't really like making friends with other ponies, so I'm surprised she let you pet her. The only other pony that she seems to like is Fluttershy."

Oreo Mist was about to reply when a voice was heard coming from upstairs. "Sweetie Belle? Is that you?" the voice asked. It was feminine in origin and had a slight accent that made whoever it was sound fancy and sophisticated.

A white Unicorn trotted into the room, her purple mane done in curls. She had three blue diamonds for a Cutie Mark.

"Oh! Hi, Rarity!" Sweetie Belle greeted. "Hey, Oreo, this is my big sister Rarity. Rarity, my new friend Oreo Mist!" 

"A pleasure making your acquaintance!" Rarity said, shaking Oreo Mist's hoof.

"The pleasure is all mine."  Oreo Mist replied. "I must say, the dresses and other articles of clothing that you craft are truly grand."

"Why, thank you!" Rarity said. 

"You're most welcome." Oreo Mist replied.

"I hate to break things up, but I think Oreo Mist has to go home now." Sweetie Belle said, looking out the window. Oreo Mist looked out, too. The sun was just barely touching the horizon.

"She's right, I'm afraid." the white Alicorn filly said sadly. She turned to the door. "See you later, Sweetie Belle. It was nice to meet you, Rarity." 



Oreo Mist trotted home through a darkened Ponyville. Most ponies have started retreating back into their houses for the night, but Oreo Mist swore she saw the Doctor still trotting around. What does that stallion get up to? The white Alicorn filly shrugged it off. She would find out eventually. She continued to trot home. Little did she know, somepony was watching her....
> Chapter 10: A Sinister Plan
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Oreo Mist trotted home, somepony watched her from a nearby bush. This pony was a Unicorn stallion with a coat as black as his uniform. The uniform itself had little red R's on it in some places, and it hid his Cutie Mark. A belt was around his midsection with some strange objects affixed to it. His mane, which was styled like Twilight's mane and Rainbow Dash's mane mixed together, was also black, but it had a bright red stripe running through it. When he was sure that nopony could hear him, he levitated a walkie-talkie with a red aura and spoke into it.

"Boss, I think I may have found a pony we could use to power the machine."

"Excellent." A male voice said on the other end. "Describe this pony to me." it demanded.

"It's an Alicorn filly with two pairs of wings." the Unicorn stallion replied. "I know it doesn't sound like much, Boss, but she's really powerful. She had a really strong magic surge at her school today. It was so strong it may rival a really powerful pony such as Celestia."

"Did she now?" the mysterious voice asked. 

"Yes, sir. It changed her classmates into random objects." the stallion explained. "She is also very smart and has a higher-level vocabulary than most fillies and colts her age."

"Interesting." the voice on the other side said. "I want to see this filly's power for myself. Find a way to bring her to me."

"Yes, sir." the stallion said. "Venom Shock, out." he added, turning the walkie-talkie off and fixing it back onto his belt. He had a pretty good plan on how to get the filly to his boss. He glanced at the little red and white ball on his belt. It contained his most trusted partner, and he was going to help Venom Shock with his plan. But little did Venom Shock know that while he was watching the filly, somepony else was watching him. Up in a tree above him sat a white Unicorn mare. She was unseen by Venom Shock as he trotted away.

"You're not going to get away with that, Venom Shock." she said once he was out of earshot. She leapt out of the tree and began to gallop in the other direction. If you listened very closely, you could her a faint melody being played as she galloped. Her horn lit up with a royal purple aura as she charged up some magic. Then, she teleported out of the area. Nopony saw her or even knew she was around, almost as if she were invisible.
> Chapter 11: The Melody Pony

Oreo Mist could see her house, she was getting really close to home. She grinned and continued to trot forward. But as soon as she took another step, a voice called out of the darkness.

"Luxray, use Thunderwave!"

Oreo Mist was attacked by golden electricity and tackled to the ground. She tried to get up, but she couldn't move an inch. Her bright blue eyes shifted upwards to gaze helplessly at her attackers. One was a black Unicorn stallion with a red stripe in his mane. The other figure was also black, and it reminded Oreo Mist of a big, black cat. It also had blue and yellow stripes of fur on its legs, along with other patches of blue fur and a yellow four-pointed star on its tail. What is this creature? It wasn't from Equestria, that's for sure. It gave Oreo Mist the same feeling she felt when she was around her parents, a sort of otherworldly vibe. It was almost overrun by the evil feeling that came along with the creature being under corrupt command. Oreo Mist felt herself being lifted off the ground by the Unicorn stallion's magic. The red aura and the yellow electricity morphed together, so the filly was floating in an orange glow.

"Oi!" she said. "It is recommended that your placement of me be returned to the ground. I demand an explanation for this!" 

"Jeez, you really need to lay off that vocabulary." was all the stallion said in reply.

"You shall state your name, rank, and intention!" Oreo Mist demanded. 

"Listen here, you little filly." the strange stallion growled. "You best be quiet, before something terrible happens to you."

"Unhoof me now!" the white Alicorn filly demanded. "You do NOT want to hear me scream!"

"Try sayin' all that stuff to my boss." the stallion challenged. "You're gonna take all that tough talk and fancy vocabulary back when he's done with you. Besides, I'm not here for a screaming contest."

"If I screamed as loud as I possibly could right now, the sound waves would reach the ears of Canterlot!" Oreo Mist said.

"How amusing." the stallion replied. 

"Why does your boss, who ever he may be, require a filly such as myself? Or anypony, for that matter?" the white Alicorn filly asked. "You're not from Equestria, are you?"

"That's none of your business right now." the stallion said. "Don't make me ask Luxray to use Thunderbolt on you. His Thunderbolt is really strong."

"Y-you wouldn't do that to a filly." Oreo Mist said. As if she wasn't already secretly scared to death.

"Try me." the stallion replied. But as soon as he opened his mouth again to command Luxray, a beam of royal purple magic blasted his partner. "What?!" he said in surprise. "Luxray, NO!" 

He turned back to the filly. "You are going to regret that VERY much."

"I didn't do that." Oreo Mist said.

The stallion realized that the filly was actually telling him the truth. He had observed her all day, her magic was a soft pink color, not royal purple.

"Really?" he asked. "Then who di-" It was then that the stallion decided to look up.

"Unhoof that filly, Venom Shock. Now." 



Oreo Mist was able to turn around just enough to see the pony that could be her rescuer. It was a white Unicorn mare, her mane green in color with a very interesting black maneclip. She was wearing a black dress with a green stripe around the waist. She wore a green jewel on her forehead and her Cutie Mark was an assortment of music notes. 

Venom Shock was, well, shocked. Who the hay was this mare, and how did she know his name?!  This may be the weirdest thing since Equestria itself. He managed to get over his shock and commanded Luxray to use the aforementioned Thunderbolt attack. Luxray obeyed, firing a strong bolt of lightning at the mysterious mare. The mare teleported away to dodge it. She reappeared and began to sing a beautiful melody. When her song ended, she looked different. Her mane was shorter and it had turned from green to orange. The maneclip remained, but her mane was styled in a bun. The skirt of her dress was shorter and the green band around her midsection was now orange, just like her mane. The jewel she wore was also orange now. Even her Cutie Mark changed. It was now two music notes dancing around of red shoes. The mare proceeded to fire another beam of magic at Luxray. Luxray tried to dodge, but he miscalculated his placement and he took the hit. Luxray then fainted, unable to battle. Venom Shock didn't have any more Pokemon with him. 

"Who....are....you?!" he asked the mare. 

"I'm Meloetta." the mare said. "And if I catch you trying your hoof at fillynapping again, you will see me again."

It wasn't the best threat, but Venom Shock returned Luxray to his Pokeball and fled. He was feeling so many emotions at once, and he collapsed in the forest sometime later. 

Oreo Mist's paralyzed status was weakening, so she turned to the mare, who had switched back to what Oreo Mist guessed was her default form, and said, "T-thank you."

"You're welcome, my little Oreo Mist." the mare replied.
> Chapter 12: Team Rocket

"Are you alright?" Meloetta asked the filly. 

"A difficulty with movement remains." Oreo Mist replied.

"You've been paralyzed." Meloetta explained. "This might help." She levitated a strange-looking red berry over to the young filly. 

"What is this?" Oreo Mist asked.

"It's a Cheri Berry." Meloetta said. "Where I come from, it is used to cure paralysis. I don't know if it will work on a pony such as yourself, however."

"Wait, you mean you're not actually a pony?" Oreo Mist asked.

"Not quite." For some reason this made Meloetta giggle. "I come from the same place your parents came from."

"So you're a Pokemon?" Oreo Mist asked.

"Yes." the melody pony replied.

"Did Venom Shock come from there, too?" the white Alicorn filly questioned.

"He did, but he's not a Pokemon. He is of another species." Meloetta said.

"I see." Oreo Mist said in understanding. "What about that black creature?" she added.

"Luxray?" Meloetta asked. "Luxray is an Electric type Pokemon."

"How come he hadn't transformed into a pony like you or my parents did?" Oreo Mist questioned.

"I think that may be because Luxray was in his Pokeball when Venom Shock came to Equestria." the melody pony answered.

Oreo Mist stopped asking questions and examined the red Cheri Berry. She was able to levitate the berry from the ground while still being paralyzed. She attempted a bite. To her surprise, it tasted really good. She instantly felt better and managed to get up. "Aahh, sweet, sweet movement! Blood circulation throughout the body! Feeling alive! How I missed it!"

Meloetta giggled. "The Cheri Berry worked!" she said in realization a short time later.

"This could be a revolution in Equestrian medicine!!" Oreo Mist added excitedly.

"You know what? If items from the Pokemon world are somehow imported here, it could be!" Meloetta said.

The two ponies giggled at that for a moment, though neither of them knew what was so funny. When their laughter subsided, Oreo Mist asked a few more questions.

"Venom Shock said he was working for somepony. Who does he work for?"

"He works for a group called Team Rocket." Meloetta answered. "They are bent on taking over the Pokemon world. But it seems that maybe they want Equestria as well."

"Yikes." Oreo Mist said.

"Yikes indeed." the melody pony replied. "I still remember when my friend Suicune told me she heard that Team Rocket found a group of Pokemon called Slowpoke and cut their tails off!"

"That's horrible! Why would they do that to those poor creatures?" Oreo Mist cried out.

"I think they were selling the Slowpoke tails." Meloetta said.

"That's preposterous!" the white Alicorn filly remarked.

"Exactly. We don't need them in Equestria." Meloetta added. "So if you see Venom Shock again, or anypony that looks like they side with Team Rocket, tell somepony you trust about it."

"Like my parents?" Oreo Mist asked.

"An excellent choice, but you could also come to me or Virizion. And you can always tell Twilight Sparkle and her friends. I hear they have dealt with crazy things like this before." the melody pony replied.

"Okay...." the white Alicorn filly said. "But who is this 'Virizion' you speak of?"

"She's a friend of mine, and she was also very close friends with your mom." Meloetta said. "If you see a tan Unicorn mare with a magenta mane and a green sword with leaves around it for a Cutie Mark, that's her."

"Okay...." Oreo Mist answered.

"I should probably leave now." the melody pony said. "Take care."

"Bye, Meloetta...." Oreo Mist was sad to see her rescuer leave. But she knew that she could talk to her later. She trotted into her house at long last, went up to her bedroom, and fell asleep. She would have to tell her parents about this in the morning.
> Chapter 13: Disbelief
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oreo Mist didn't sleep very well. She kept having nightmares. When she would wake from these nightmares, she would get out of bed and look outside her window. Venom Shock could have been watching her. She never saw him, but Oreo Mist was still scared. She knew she should, but she didn't want to tell her parents about the situation. She didn't want them to worry about her too much. But when she sat down at the breakfast table the next morning, Reshiram could easily tell something was wrong.

"There is something troubling my daughter." Reshiram said. "What could it possibly be?"

Oreo Mist didn't answer.

"Something happen?" Zekrom asked.

Oreo Mist made a face. Then, she ended up spilling the beans. When she was finished, the silence was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop, if pins were ever dropped in silent situations.

Oreo Mist burrowed herself in her front legs, her face hot with embarrassment and anxiety. She could feel her parents eyes staring at her, unblinking as if she was a Weeping Angel. 

All Reshiram could say was, "Meloetta ended up in Equestria?"

Zekrom put a hoof to his forehead in disbelief. Not only was he shocked at the fact that a friend of his ended up in Equestria, he was shocked that anypony would even think about foalnapping his daughter. Plus, he was confused. Just how did Meloetta and this Team Rocket member get into Equestria? 

Reshiram and Zekrom didn't know who he was, they didn't know how he got here, but if he ever hurt their daughter, they will find him, and they will make him deeply regret it.

Big time.





"That actually happened?!" Sweetie Belle squeaked.

It was lunchtime, and Oreo Mist was retelling the events of the previous night to the rest of Cutie Mark Crusaders.

"This feels like some kind of mystery story where somepony ends up being taken away." Scootaloo said.

"Ah don't know why anypony would think of doin' somethin' like that to a filly!" Applebloom remarked. "Ah thought that only happened in those stories Scootaloo just mentioned!"

"We need to think of a plan, Crusaders." Scootaloo said. "As Oreo Mist's friend, we should try to help her in any way possible. Because that's what friends do."

"Hey, you be right, Scootaloo!" Applebloom exclaimed. "And Ah got just the idear!"

Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo turned to each other in a huddle. Oreo Mist continued to eat her lunch as the other three Crusaders were chatting. When they were finished, they bumped hooves while shouting, "Cutie Mark Crusader Bodyguards! YAY!!"





When school let out, Oreo Mist ended up telling her friend Dinky about what happened as they trotted home.

"That sound really freaky." Dinky said when she was finished. 

"Yeah, I really have to watch my back now." Oreo Mist replied.

"Why would somepony even attempt foalnapping?" Dinky asked. "I thought that only happened in stories!"

"That's exactly what Applebloom said." Oreo Mist said.

"Geez, I can't even imagine what would happen if that happened to me." Dinky said. "I think weirder things have happened, though. Like when the Doctor first came to Ponyville...."





Meanwhile, in the Everfree Forest, Venom Shock had woken up and given his boss a report. He flinched as his boss scolded him for his failure. "Is it that hard to kidnap a pony? A filly, for that matter?"

"I already told you, sir, somepony else intervened." Venom Shock explained. He was kind of starting to regret this mission. But that regret washed away with confidence, for while his boss was ranting at him some more, Venom Shock thought of the perfect plan. He grinned, knowing that this time, he won't fail. Nopony was going to stop him.
> Chapter 14: Second Chance
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Venom Shock levitated a bottle from his belt. The bottle contained a yellow liquid that was actually a potion that allows dimensional teleportation. All you had to do was drink it while imagining the place you wanted to go to. Venom Shock still had a good amount of this potion, but he only needed a little. Once he swallowed some of it down, he was gone.





POP!!

Venom Shock reappeared in the Pokemon world. He made a face. The potion was amazing and useful, but it didn't taste the best. It was a little too spicy and a little to sour. Not a good combination.

At least it works. Venom Shock was right where he needed to be: inside a Pokemon Center. Nobody questioned his sudden appearance. (Thank you, perception filter.) He scanned his surroundings. Judging from the view outside and some of the Pokemon that various Trainers had with them, he was in a Johto Pokemon Center. Not that it mattered what region he was in, but you can't know where you're going if you don't know where you've been.

Venom Shock looked around some more until he found what he was looking for: the PC. He trotted over to it and logged into the Pokemon Storage System. The PC was a little difficult to use with hooves, but Venom Shock had gotten used to it. He had to scroll through a few Boxes until he found the Pokemon he was looking for.

He picked up the Pokeball and looked at it. Inside was one of his first Pokemon. While his Shinx, who has evolved a long time ago, was the cutest blue furball, Vulpix was the cutest red furball. The day Venom Shock got those two Pokemon was the best birthday ever. He smiled at the memories, but that grin was replaced with seriousness. He had a job to do, and there was no need to waste time. He put Vulpix's Pokeball on his belt, drank some more of the potion, and with a pop, he was gone.





"Are you sure about this, Sweetie Belle?" Oreo Mist asked as the two fillies trotted home together.

"Of course I am!" Sweetie Belle replied. "Me, Scootaloo, and Applebloom had a discussion, and we decided that we would each take turns being your personal bodyguard!"

"I appreciate what you are attempting to do, but wouldn't it be a bit dangerous?" Oreo Mist questioned.

"Well, compared to some other things we have done to try and earn our Cutie Marks, not really." Sweetie Belle said.

The white Alicorn filly didn't say anything to that. While the whole bodyguard thing made it a little weird between the Crusaders, she was excited for the sleepover she was escorting Sweetie Belle to. Or maybe to Sweetie Belle, it was the other way around.

"Can we attempt this to be just a fun sleepover and not some kind of crazy bodyguard mission?" Oreo Mist asked as she opened the door to her house.

"Okay, but if you're in any danger at all, I'm going to protect you!" the Unicorn filly replied.

Oreo Mist smiled. "You're a good friend, Sweetie Belle."





Oreo Mist and Sweetie Belle finished their homework and got into their pajamas. The sleepover was officially beginning.

"I'll be right back." Sweetie Belle said. "I'm going to go find some snacks."

"Okay." Oreo Mist said. 

When Sweetie Belle trotted out of the room, Oreo was by herself. So she was startled when she heard something tap on the window. She got a stool and looked outside one of the front windows, but she didn't see anything. She decided to open the door and look around.

When she did, she gasped. At the door was a fox. Well, it looked like a fox, anyway. It had a dark red pelt and many tails. It looked at Oreo Mist with two black eyes. It was so cute!!

Oreo Mist reached out a hoof to pet the fox. It was really warm. When she touched it, the fox put a paw on her forehead. Some colorful lights surrounded the white Alicorn filly. Oreo Mist was getting super sleepy. Her eyes closed, and she fell asleep.

The fox, which was actually Venom Shock's Vulpix, howled. Venom Shock trotted out if the bush he was hiding in and levitated the filly onto his back. He returned Vulpix to her Pokeball and began to trot away. Unfortunately for him, the door was still open, and Sweetie Belle had returned with the snacks. The two Unicorns stared at each other for a few seconds while the snacks were placed at the table. 

Then, Sweetie Belle screamed.

She attempted to chase after Venom Shock, but being a filly, she wasn't as fast as a full grown stallion. Venom Shock took a sip of the potion and disappeared. 

"OREO, NO!!!!" Sweetie Belle screamed.

She fell to the ground in defeat and cried. One of her best friends was gone. Even Celestia may not know what Venom Shock is going to do to her.

As Sweetie Belle cried, she felt a comforting hoof wrap her into a hug. She looked up and saw a tan Unicorn mare with a magenta mane. Sweetie Belle had no idea what this mare was wearing. It looked like a cape, but she was wearing it backwards. The mare also wore some green boots. Her Cutie Mark was a green sword wrapped in leaves.

Reshiram and Zekrom had heard Sweetie Belle's screams and were now outside. Reshiram glanced at the Unicorn mare who was attempting to comfort Sweetie Belle.

"Virizion?" Reshiram asked. Even though she was a pony, Reshiram recognized her friend instantly.

"Hi Reshiram." Virizion said. "Would love to chat, but I'm afraid I have some bad news."

"W-what happened?" Zekrom asked nervously. He had his suspicions about what may have happened.

"I don't know how to sugarcoat it, so I'll just give it to you straight: Venom Shock managed to get Oreo Mist."

Reshiram and Zekrom gasped.

"I-I tried to stop him!" Sweetie Belle said through tears. "I tried to save her, b-but he got away! I'm sorry, Reshiram and Zekrom! I-I'm so sorry! I-I really am...."

"I-It's okay Sweetie Belle." Reshiram was beginning to tear up, too. "You were very brave to try and rescue Oreo." 

Zekrom began blurting out questions. "How are we going to get her back? What does that stallion think she's going to do to my daughter?"

"I don't know, but me and my friends will help you get her back."

Reshiram, Zekrom, Virizion, and Sweetie Belle all jumped a little when Twilight spoke. It turned out she was standing there the whole time. Reshiram got over being startled by the lavender Unicorn and gave her a hug. "Thank you." she whispered.

"That doesn't get us any closer to finding a way back to our world." Zekrom said. "I'm confused about how this Team Rocket member ended up here. Even today I'm still confused as to how we ended up in Equestria."

"I think it was Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom that brought you to Equestria." Twilight said. "Weird but interesting things have happened because of the Sonic Rainboom."

"Like what?" Virizion asked.

"When Rainbow Dash first performed the Sonic Rainboom as a filly, she got her Cutie Mark. That Sonic Rainboom was seen by me, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie, and we all got our Cutie Marks that day."

"Wow." Zekrom said.

"Yes, the Sonic Rainboom is pretty magical. So much so that it maybe, just maybe, could open a rift to another dimension." Twilight said. 

"Seriously?!" Sweetie Belle squeaked.

"Yes, Sweetie Belle, seriously." Twilight giggled.

"So all we have to do is find the rift?" Reshiram asked.

"Well, actually, there may be more than one rift." Twilight replied. "There have been all kinds of reports from all over Equestria, like Canterlot and Manehattan, involving ponies popping in and saying they are from another world. Plus, only Celestia may know where these rifts are and how long it may take to find them."

"So what do we do?" Sweetie Belle asked sadly.

The five ponies sat down to think. A few minutes later, a voice suddenly said, "I have an idea."

Everypony sitting down looked around to see who spoke. But Reshiram didn't have to look. She knew that voice. That voice had an accent that was all too familiar to her. He may be a little strange, but Reshiram felt that maybe, just maybe, whatever his secret was could help them when help was needed most. 

Now couldn't have been a better time for him to show up.

Reshiram turned to her left. 

"Doctor?"
> Chapter 15: The Doctor's Secret

The Doctor, Derpy, and Dinky stepped out of the darkness. How long they were there, Reshiram had no idea.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the mysterious Doctor Whooves and his companions." Everypony jumped a little as Meloetta made herself visible. 

"How are you going to get us to the Pokemon world?" Twilight asked in bewilderment.

"I will show you in due time, my dear Twilight." the Doctor replied. "But if you and your friends are coming along, it's recommended that they are all here before we leave."

"How soon are we leaving, exactly?!" Sweetie Belle questioned. 

"I guess when all of Twilight's friends are here." Dinky said. "But trust me when I say that we'll get there pretty quickly."

"The sooner we rescue Oreo, the better, right?" Derpy asked.

"....Yes, you are correct, Derpy." Twilight said. "I'll gather everypony right away."

"I'll get my sister!" Sweetie Belle declared. The white Unicorn filly then proceeded to gallop away. 

"Well, there's one less house I have to teleport to." Twilight said. "Hey Reshiram, why don't you go to Sweet Apple Acres and get Applejack?"

"Of course, Twilight." Reshiram said. 

"I'll go to Rainbow Dash's house." Zekrom suggested.

"And I will retrieve Pinkie Pie." Virizion added.

"I guess that leaves me with Fluttershy." Twilight said. "Hurry back, everypony." the lavender Unicorn added before teleporting away.





"I'm sorry, Sweetie Belle, but can you please explain why you had to interrupt my beauty sleep?" Rarity groggily wailed.

"But Rarity!!" Sweetie Belle countered. "Oreo Mist has been foalnapped, and we need to get her back!!"

"I beg your pardon?!" Rarity questioned.

"Oh....my...." was all Fluttershy could say.

"That there be mighty preposterous!!" Applejack exclaimed. 

"If this 'Venom Shock' stallion took her back to your world," Rainbow Dash began, her comment being directed at Reshiram and Zekrom. "how the hay are we going to get there?!"

"Let me just stop you right there, Rainbow Dash." the Doctor said. "Can I get everypony to follow me?"

"Wait one more second." Twilight said. She quickly trotted into her tree library home and came out levitating a blue case. 

"Are those-" Pinkie Pie began to ask.

"Just in case." Twilight said.

"Is that all?" the Doctor asked.

Everypony nodded. They were ready to go.

"Then Allons-y!!" the Doctor said. He trotted away, with Derpy and Dinky right behind him. Everypony else followed reluctantly, unsure of how the Doctor plans to help them.





"We have arrived." the Doctor announced. 

Everypony, save for Derpy and Dinky, was confused. "But....it's just a blue box." Rainbow Dash said.

"Is it?" the Doctor asked. "Well, let me just open the doors and check!" He then proceeded to push open the doors of the box.

"WHAT IN TARNATION?!" Applejack exclaimed.

"Just a blue box?" the Doctor asked, a smirk on his face.

Everypony stepped in, mystified. The Doctor was right: it wasn't just a blue box. Inside was a massive room. Reshiram almost fainted.

"I-it's....bigger on the inside...." she muttered, her eyes wide.

"Is it? I didn't notice!" the Doctor said sarcastically.

"What the.... how.... I can't even.... just....wow!" Twilight exclaimed. "This kind of technology is very advanced. It isn't Equestrian, isn't it?"

"Nope." Derpy said. "You see, the Doctor isn't from Equestria, either."

"What even is this place?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"This, my dear Rainbow Dash, is the TARDIS." the Doctor explained. 

"The TARDIS?" Fluttershy questioned.

"Precisely." the brown Time Pony said. "That's T-A-R-D-I-S. Time And Relative Dimension In Space."

"Ooo! What does this do?" Pinkie Pie asked, examining some buttons. 

"I-I wouldn't touch anything if I were you...." Derpy warned.

"Can somepony shut the doors, please?" the Doctor asked.

Rarity used her magic to close the doors. "What a lovely shade of orange...." she remarked as she examined the wall.

The Doctor started messing with some of the controls. Pushing buttons, pulling levers, and general as well as random fiddling around. 

"What are you doing exactly?" Zekrom asked.

"Well, aren't we going to rescue your daughter?" the Doctor asked.

"Yes, but you still didn't explain how we are getting back to Unova." the black Alicorn stallion replied.

"Well, you see, Zekrom, the TARDIS is more than just a blue box that just so happens to be larger inside than out." the Doctor explained. "She's somewhere along the lines of, oh, I don't know, a spacecraft. But I think she's more like.... a time machine."

"A TIME MACHINE?!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "NO WAY!!!!"

"But Doctor.... I thought you said the TARDIS can't go to other dimensions!" Dinky exclaimed.

"I must be wrong on that, for if it can't, I might not be here in Equestria!" the brown Time Pony explained. 

"If that's so, then why haven't you gone back to your old dimension?" the periwinkle Unicorn filly asked.

"Well, Dinky...." the Doctor began. There was a hint of sadness in his sapphire blue eyes."....I must admit I have grown rather fond of Equestria, so I decided to stay."

He messed with a few more buttons and levers, and the TARDIS started up. Reshiram's ears twitched at the noise. The sound it made was strange, but in a way, it was.... beautiful. The sound continued for what felt like a few minutes, but then it stopped abruptly. 

"Hey.... it stopped." Rainbow Dash said.

"We've arrived." the Doctor announced. "Take a look outside."

Twilight was the closest to the doors, so she was the one who got to get a first look. Using her magic, she opened the doors so she could see outside. Everypony gasped.

They weren't in Equestria anymore.
> Chapter 16: The (Brief(?)) Return to Unova

"Oh my Celestia...." Twilight said.

She could tell they weren't in Equestria anymore. This place gave her the exact same feeling she got around Reshiram and Zekrom, but it was a lot more intense. The lavender Unicorn almost fainted, she was feeling so many things. She timidly stepped onto the grass. 

"So....we're in another world?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Yep." Dinky replied.

"That.... is.... AWESOME!!!!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.

"This blue box o' yers actually worked!" Applejack commented.

"Of course it did, my dear Applejack." the Doctor said. 

"Ah'm just amazed, Mr. Doctor." the pastel orange Earth Pony replied. "That there technology be super strange, but then again, all that stuff be strange ta me. We tend to keep it simple over at Sweet Apple Acres. So this box o' yers be kinda overwelmin' to look at fer me."

"That is completely understandable." the Doctor said reassuringly. "And it's just 'Doctor'."

"Oh." Applejack blushed with embarrassment. "Sorry.... Doctor."

Reshiram and Zekrom stood completely still. "We're home...." Reshiram said.

"Yeah...." Zekrom added.

"Must be strange being back in your old home, huh?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"It does feel weird...." Reshiram answered. "....why haven't we.... changed back into Pokemon?"

"That's.... a good question...." Meloetta said. "We may never know."

"We should probably get going." Rarity said. 

"Yes, let's remember what we came here for, everypony." Virizion added, taking charge. "Team Rocket has quarters in Unova. That's probably where Venom Shock took Oreo." She motioned for everypony to follow her. 





Oreo Mist woke up with pain. Her head was hurting, her stomach was hurting, everything felt some kind of pain. 

How long was I out? Where am I? These were questions tumbling around in the white Alicorn filly's throbbing head. 

The second question was answered when she fully opened her eyes. She was inside a strange glass box that was rather large. Celestia herself may have been able to fit in it comfortably. 

She tried to stand up, but two of her hooves were tangled in wires. "Where did these come from?" Oreo Mist wondered out loud. She tried to pull them off, but the were attached to her body by nodes.  

Oreo Mist jolted at the sudden sound of hoofsteps. She looked through the glass at ponies, creatures that may or may not be Pokemon, and these tall, all somewhat similar-looking bipedal creatures (Oreo Mist doesn't know this, but these are called humans.), all wandering around the massive room. Some of the bipedal creatures were hovering around a complex piece of machinery that displayed lots of numbers and data. Some were wearing black uniforms with red R's on them. Oreo Mist gasped. "Team Rocket!" she whispered to herself. 

Then, she screamed. "RELEASE ME, YOU IMBECILES!"

Every creature in the room jumped at her sudden outburst. One of the bipedal creatures grunted and said, "Oh great.... she's awake."

Oreo Mist was surprised that the bipedal creature was able to speak and that she could understand what it said. Or rather, he. To Oreo Mist, by the sound of the voice, it was male.

Another bipedal replied to the first one, "Well, at least we can use the machine now that she is awake." This bipedal's voice was feminine in sound. 

Wait....

Machine?

Before Oreo Mist could even think about saying anything else, the male bipedal that spoke before moved next to the big glass box she was encased in. He then pulled a red lever that she didn't notice before. She then began to scream in agony as the machine stole her magic.





As Virizion guided Twilight & Co., an explosion was heard, and a pink tint colored the area.

"What 'n tarnation was that?" Applejack asked.

"You're guess is as good as mine." Derpy said.

"My Sonic Screwdriver is picking up a magical imbalance." the Doctor said.

"Your what?" Rarity asked. 

The Doctor held up a strange wand-like device with a blue light on the end. 

"That does not look like a screwdriver." Rainbow Dash said.

"It's a special kind of screwdriver." The Doctor explained. 

"How is it special?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Well, do you have a screwdriver that can unlock doors and hack computer systems?" the Doctor challenged. "Although most doors in Equestria are made of wood....  the Sonic doesn't work on wood.... I really need to fix that...."

Sweetie Belle's jaw dropped.

"....What's a computer?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh...." the Doctor paused. "I forgot that computers are relatively new to Equestria...."

"Well, forget about that! We've got to go find out what that magical imbalance is and save Oreo!" Twilight said.

Rainbow Dash flew upwards and looked in the direction the energy was coming from. "It's coming from that strange building over there!" she declared. 

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Virizion said.

"Hold on!" Twilight galloped back into the TARDIS and came back out a few seconds later with the case that contained the Elements.
"Let's go." she said.

The group galloped off towards the strange building, which was, in fact, Team Rocket's Unova headquarters. 





When the group arrived, they had to squint. The magic aura was so bright that it was almost blinding. It was difficult trying to find a way inside. All the doors appeared to be locked. 

Eventually, Rainbow Dash found an open trapdoor on the roof. She, Fluttershy, Derpy, Reshiram, and Zekrom carried everypony that couldn't fly up onto the roof. Once there, they each climbed a ladder leading down into the building very quietly to avoid being caught. They ended up in a long hallway with several doors in it.

"Great. How will we know which one they have Oreo in?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"We split up and look." Twilight answered. She split everypony up and told them to search various rooms. Reshiram and Zekrom searched the first room on the right while the Doctor, Derpy, and Dinky searched in the first room on the left. Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Sweetie Belle went further down the hall to search. Meloetta turned invisible to search, while Pinkie Pie pulled out a spy outfit so she can feel stealthy. Typical Pinkie.

Each room was a mini laboratory or a sleeping quarter filled with beds. While some found several random items, they didn't find what they were looking for. Until....

"Hey everypony!! I found it!!" Pinkie exclaimed. She pointed excitedly at the fourth room on the left. Everypony rushed to her to see if she was right.

"Okay, first of all, calm down, Pinkie." Twilight said. "Second of all, how do you know this is the room? It's locked!"

"First of all, I sensed it with my Pinkie Sense! Second of all, that pink glow is really really bright here!" Pinkie declared.

"If you say so...." Twilight said. She knows not to question the Pinkie Sense, and she was right about the pink glow. "How do we get in?"

"Allow me." the Doctor answered. He pointed his Sonic Screwdriver at the door and pushed the button. It emitted a buzzing sound and the door clicked, signaling that it had been unlocked.

"Wow!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. 

"Hold on everypony. Before we go in, we should have a plan." Twilight said. "I feel as if some of us should stay out here in case something happens."

Everypony nodded in agreement, but Rainbow Dash was confused. "What if somepony comes down here?"

"Then we can hide in one of the empty rooms and pray to Celestia that nopony checks inside them." Twilight answered. 

The Mane 6, Reshiram, Zekrom, and the Doctor were going to rescue Oreo while Derpy, Meloetta and Virizion stayed behind. They were going to watch over Sweetie Belle and Dinky while everypony else went to save our little white Alicorn filly.





Oreo Mist thought her throat was going to explode, she was screaming so much. She couldn't help it though, she was in so much pain. She felt her magic and well as her life slowly drain from her body. "Will this ever end?" she questioned in her mind.

Meanwhile, the Mane 6, Reshiram, Zekrom, and the Doctor were sneaking around the room, trying to get to Oreo so they can rescue her. They ducked behind tables and boxes whenever any weird bipedal creatures, Pokemon, or enemy ponies happened to trot by. Unfortunately, Pinkie was bouncing around too much and knocked something over. 

"Who goes there?" one of the strange bipedal creatures asked.

BUSTED.

"Oopsie!" Pinkie said.

"Hey, that's Twilight Sparkle and her band of misfits! Princess Celestia must have sent them to try and stop us!" an enemy pony said.

"Pinkie!" Rainbow Dash scolded.

"Sorry, Dashie!" Pinkie said.

And then, all hell broke loose.
> Chapter 17: The Unexpected

Oreo Mist was able to open her eyes just enough to see the rescue team battling it out against Team Rocket. Somehow, that strange Doctor Whooves was with them, and he was trying to shut off the machine that was taking her magic with a strange wand thing. He was muttering angrily under his breath as he did so. The Mane 6 and her parents were using the Elements of Harmony against enemy Pokemon.

"MOOOMM!! DAAADD!!" she screamed.

Reshiram and Zekrom both looked toward the big glass case, where their daughter was being held captive. Their eyes widened. Reshiram galloped over to the case. As she was doing so, she was struck by a shower of rocks. 

"MOOOM, NOOO!" Oreo Mist cried.

"RESHIRAM!!" Zekrom cried. 

He was about to go help her and see if she was okay, but then, while his attention was diverted, he was struck by a beam of ice.

"DAAAD!!" Oreo Mist cried again.

Pretty much anything and everything was getting attacked by something. Ponies and Pokemon were being struck down on both sides. And in the middle of it all was one stallion.

He basically started this whole mess. He was the one his boss chose to carry out this mission. And look where that mission was now.

"What a mess...." he said out loud in disbelief.

"This is ridiculous...." he thought. "And this is pretty much all on me...."

"...."

"Enough is enough.  Looks like I have caused a lot of damage."

He took two Pokeballs from his belt and prepared to send out his two most trusted partners. "I should fix this. And I will." 

"Luxray, use Thunderbolt on the glass! Vulpix, defrost Zekrom with Flamethrower!" he shouted while throwing the two Pokeballs.

The two Pokemon burst forth and followed his commands. Vulpix directed an intense flame at Zekrom. It was hot enough to melt the ice he was encased in, but cool enough as to not harm him. Once all the ice surrounding the black Alicorn stallion was gone, he rushed frantically to the pile of rocks his marefriend was buried under. He pulled the rocks away with his magic and lifted Reshiram up. She lay lifeless in his arms. Zekrom put a hoof to her neck. He breathed a sigh of relief as he felt a steady pulse. She was still alive.

"Thank Arceus." Zekrom said.

Luxray aimed a strong bolt of lightning at the big glass case which held Oreo Mist. The glass shattered. Shards of it fell to the ground and cut some of the wires. The machine was broken. That strange Doctor Whooves stallion, who was behind the machine for some reason, looked up in shock. He then covered himself to protect from the broken glass.

Luxray's Trainer leapt to retrieve the little white Alicorn filly. He pulled the nodes off her body and returned his Pokemon to their Pokeballs.

"V-Venom Shock?!?!" Zekrom exclaimed. The same stallion who kidnapped his daughter was now.... rescuing her?

"We need to get out of here." Venom Shock said. 

"How do I know I can trust you now?" Zekrom asked.

"I have seen my error. I'm sorry." the Unicorn stallion replied. "Now are we getting out of here or not?"





There was no time for any explanations as everypony made a beeline for the TARDIS. The Doctor wasted no time as he pushed buttons and pulled levers to get everypony back to Equestria once they were all save inside the ancient time machine.

As the TARDIS started up, Zekrom held his marefriend and his daughter in his arms. Neither of them were moving, but both were alive. He would shake them occasionally in attempt to stir them, but so far, he had no luck.

Venom Shock received many suspicious looks on the journey back. Their stares asked why he was there, and if they could trust him or not. 

Everypony was exhausted. Sweetie Belle and Dinky fell asleep. Everypony breathed heavily as their hearts tried to burst out of their chests. Rarity was ready to pass out. 

Suddenly, the TARDIS stopped. They have arrived back in Equestria.
> Chapter 18: The End of Our Little Tale

Everypony stepped out of the TARDIS cautiously. They have landed in front of Twilight's house. Nopony seemed surprised by this, however. By now, they probably trust the TARDIS enough to not be surprised. Either that, or they were still trying to recover from what just happened.

Everypony stared at each other rather awkwardly. Most of the stares were still going toward Venom Shock.

"Do you care to explain yourself?" Virizion eventually asked, breaking the silence.

The black Unicorn stallion explained that he has seen his error and was going to try and change.

"Okay.... Venom Shock, was it?" Twilight said. "We are going to trust you. But we will be keeping an eye on you, and if you try anything funny, I will report you to Princess Celestia."

Venom Shock nodded in understanding. Right in front of everypony, he took off his Team Rocket uniform. He sent out his Vulpix and told her to use Flamethrower on the uniform. He grinned as it burned.

"....dramatic." Twilight noted.

It was then that Reshiram and Oreo Mist woke up. It was probably the smell of fire burning that woke them.

"Wha.... what happened?" Reshiram mumbled. She tried to sit up, but decided against it and fell back into Zekrom's arms. 

"Mom?" Oreo Mist asked.

Mother and daughter stared at each other for a few seconds. Then all the crying out of joy and hugs broke out. Everypony shared the biggest group hug in the universe.

"We were so worried, Oreo!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Yeah, we were all freaked out." Dinky added.

"I was scared, too." Oreo Mist said. "I'm just.... I'm really happy to be back." She hugged her two best friends.

The white Alicorn filly then gave her parents a giant hug. "Mom.... Dad.... I missed you so much...."

"We missed you, too." Reshiram said. Zekrom was too busy crying to say anything. Needless to say, he was the happiest stallion in the universe at the moment. He has gotten his daughter back. She may not be his daughter by blood, but does that change anything? Zekrom didn't think so.

"Hey! You know what this calls for?" Pinkie Pie asked.

Twilight had a feeling about  what Pinkie's answer was going to be, but she asked, "What, Pinkie?"

"A PARTY, of course!!" Pinkie answered. "A 'Yay, We Rescued Oreo Mist and Went On A Big Adventure' party!!"

Everypony wiped their tears away and began to celebrate as Pinkie pulled cupcakes and other party treats out of seemingly nowhere. How she does this, we may never know.

We may never know where Oreo Mist actually came from, either. Why somepony would just leave her in the Everfree forest. Or why Venom Shocks now former boss was twisted enough to want to use a young filly for his plans. We may never know these things. But look where we are. This is the end of Oreo Mist's tale. Perhaps we'll visit her again, but for now, it is goodbye.
