Editor's Notes: firebirdabirdoffire here. I dumbed down the spoilers of my story, there are still hints of it. I hid it in several ways. Mostly leaving out explicit details and half-lies Author's Notes: The idea behind this story was based off of the Title Picture, I found this on the internet while looking for Celestia pics, could not find the original artist, and I also could not find any stories relating to it. If you truly are the original artist, thank you for creating such a wonderful picture to design a story plot by. Now for what everyone came here for: The Story... Don't forget to comment, if it's popular, I'll post more, if not well........ You know... Wubs, Canterlot in gleaming lights, music heard in every corner of Equestria. It could only mean one thing. Vinyl Scratch holding her Canterlot Party again. Everypony was invited, both in Canterlot, Ponyville, and everyone on Vinyl Scratch's Fanbase were even here. They called her DJ P0N-3... Because it was her stage name. She looked around as her Wubs blared accross the dance floor. Even Princess Luna, the Princess of the Night, and bringer of the moon, was jamming away in her throne, making sure the party ended with nothing too horrible. She looked around, all of her friends were here, even Octavia, who she was surprised to see, but knew she would come after the past months events. "How's Everypony enjoying tonight?" she yelled. Just about everypony in the audience cheered. She looked over at Twilight Sparkle, one of her best friends, and newest fans. They exchanged smiles. "Then how about we raise the roofs, and bring this party up to 11!" She yelled, putting on her latest Wub, and turning the volume up. She took off her headphones, and stepped away from her DJ booth. She walked over next to Twilight. "Twilight Sparkles." "Hey Rar.... Vinyl Scratch. What have you been up to? The only bit I've seen you is working away in town." She exclaimed, they both giggled. About a month earlier at her Birthday party, she revealed that she the sister long lost twin sister of Rarity Belle, best fashion designer in all of Ponyville, although some of her customers said she was the best in Equestria. That day, the present Octavia got her was the best. She untited the sisters together, allegedly. Funnily enough despite different personalities the sister get along great. They are also equally talented at each other's job. When she came back to reality for the moment, she looked at twilight, she was nodding her head to the Wubs. She blushed when she noticed Vinyl was watching her. "Hey, your music isn't that bad..... I just never realized it until now." She said, trying to, make excuses for why she was bobbing to her music. "That makes at least one of us. Question, where's Spike?" Vinyl asked. "Oh, he stayed in Ponyville, something about some alone time at the Boutique." Twilight said. Vinyl facehooved herself. That stubborn Dragon.... "I'll talk to you later then, gotta get back to my party." Twilight held out her hoof, and Vinyl just brohooved Twilight then got back to her booth. She would make this party remembered forever, if it was the last thing she would do. Elsewhere in the castle, Princess Celestia, not the greatest fan of Vinyl, (she liked Vinyl's sister, Rarity more, although she would never admit it. Being regal and lady-like and all.) mainly because the Wubs.... the Wubs were so loud. Her younger sister Luna was more into that sort of stuff. Which is why Celestia sent Luna to watch over the Party while she calmed herself down. She had soundproofed her chambers, so the Wubs wouldn't sneak in. She was reading some of the journals her daughter had left behind. She smiled, at all the things her daughter had done. Then at the door, there was a knocking. she opened the door with her magic, looking up to see who could possibly be at the door. Of all mares in the castle, it just had to be Ditsy... Ditsy Doo. Noo, it wasnt that Celestia hated Ditsy (or Derpy, everyone seemed to call her that). No she actually loved Derpy quite a bit. It was just, everytime Derpy came by, something broke, something blew up, the room turned into a mess. And it was the same excuse over and over. "I just dont know what went wrong!" Everytime. "Hiya Princess!" Derpy said. "Hello Derpy." Celestia replied. "What brings you to my study?" "Just thought I'd say hello, to my most loving Princess of mine." She said, as her eyes went lazy-eyed and then went back to normal. She noticed something shiny, and quickly ran over to a bookshelf. She flew up and before Celestia could realize what was in Derpy's hooves. She dropped it. It shattered all over, releasing dark clouds into the room, the clouds and smoke ruffled into the room, completely engulfing it in darkness, but the protective sound barrier,(which was basically a forcefield) kept all of the smoke in. When the clouds had finally dispersed, Celestia realized something was wrong. Her pillow usually fit her perfectly, now it was engulfing her. She looked around. The first thing she noticed was a giant grey mare. Who just happened to have a horn... and wings.... and Derpy's cutie mark. She looked around, everything in the room was huge. Derpy was looking around too, seeming as happy and carefree as ever. "Derpy, what have you done!?!?!" Celestia screamed, in a really high pitched voice. "I Just don't know what went wrong!" Derpy stated. That single statement, that single phrase, that single line, made Celestia faint. > Little Solaria > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Filly'tia (Formally Derpy's Little Princess) Chapter 2 - Little Solaria OK, for those of you who dislike my work.... I'm not the greatest, I've gotten a bunch of people want me to write, so I did. I'm not even comfortable doing third person, I'm a first person writer, and I'm a fiction writer, so for those of you who dislike it.... I'm sorry it didn't meet your satisfaction, but think of how much I'm dealing with.... Writing is my Shang Gri La "Princess, Princess! Are you ok?" Celestia groaned. She was finally coming to. "Yes my dear student, I'm fine." Celestia replied. She carefully opened her eyes. Twilight was huge. She looked around. Everyone was bigger. It hadn't all been a dream. "AHHHHHHHH!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, making everyone cover their ears. Everyone except Luna, who was not only huge, she was gargantuan. Luna walked over to her, and put a wing around her sister. "It will be ok Tia." Luna said, hugging her now little sister. She looked around, even Vinyl, had shut down her DJ Booth, just to see how Celestia was doing. It had been a good hour, since a giant Derpy had run into the Dance room, scaring off a couple people. As soon as Luna had noticed Derpy had a horn, and was Celestia's size, she knew something had gone wrong. She told everyone the party had ended, and everyone had slowly left. Then when everyone was gone, only the Mane 6, Derpy, and Luna remained. Vinyl Scratch removed her glasses. "Whats wrong Derpy Darling?" She asked, Rarity's verbal tics rubbed off on Vinyl and Vice Versa. Mostly only when friends are around. They both have images to keep up. "Princess, dark clouds, shiny vase, giant pillow, I just don't know what went wrong!" Derpy freaked out. Luna's eyes had widened when Derpy mentioned dark clouds and a shiny vase. "Derpy, please lead us to what happened." Luna stated. Derpy ran back towards Celestia's Study, with everyone falling. And thats what had happened. "Derpy what did you do?!?" Celestia cried. "Sister.... The Vase of Solaria....." Luna said, motioning over to the broken vase. Celestia took one look at the broken vase, and just broke into tears, crying. "Wait, Princess. Who's Solaria?" Rainbow Dash asked. Luna looked at Rainbow Dash, and quietly stated. "Solaria was Celestia's one and only Daughter." As those words left her lips, everyone gasped, especially Twilight. "I didn't know Celestia had a daughter, she never mentioned anything." She notioned. Luna looked at Celestia, who had literally cried herself to sleep. "Solaria was the offspring of Celestia, and Order, who was a regal Pegasi. Solaria was born, about 1100 years ago, about 100 years before I was banished to the moon. Solaria was the joy of Celestia's life, and for that time, Celestia was happy. When Solaria finally died, Celestia was so heartbroken, she had me erase her memories of Solaria. The only thing left was Solaria's journals, and her essence, who's contents were in that vase." Luna recalled. "Wait, if Solaria's essence was in that vase, why did this happen?" Rairty asked. "The reason Solaria died..... Celestia and I had to do it. Celestia didn't want to admit it, but Solaria had been possessed by the Nightmare Force, the same force that turned me evil. When we finally destroyed her, the Nightmare Force left her, or so we thought. Apparently some still remained. Enough of the Nightmare Force, will in fact, turn anypony evil, but with just a little bit, Nightmare Force is more like poison joke, it just wants to have a little jokelike fun, to amuse itself." Luna stated. "So this is the leftover Nightmare Forces joke? Swapping bodies with Celestia and Derpy?" Twilight asked. Luna just nodded. "Sooo, how do ya reckon we fix dis mess?" Applejack asked. "To be truthful, I have no idea, at the moment we have nothing, but you guys need not worry, when Celestia wakes up, we will consult and see what we can come up with." Luna said. "Until then, you girls should get some rest, I have a feeling you might need it for the upcoming days." Everyone nodded, as everyone slowly left, all heading to the guest rooms they had been given for the party. Everyone was exhausted, the party had taken so much out of them, all of them fell asleep when their heads hit the pillows. Everyone except Derpy, she wasn't dumb... She realized that what she had done, may endanger the lives of her friends..... She had caused everything just because she was clumsy. She fought her own mind the entire night, getting nowhere fast. > Fade into Darkness > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Filly'tia (Formally Derpy's Little Princess) Chapter 3 - Fade into Darkness Title Note: Fade into Darkness by Avicii. Best if listened to while reading, if needbe, use listenonrepeat.com I thought it fit well, due to Vinyl Belle/Scratch being a DJ, as well as Avicii is a DJ. It all seemed to get stuck in my head. Enjoy! Twilight awoke, to a slight knocking on her bedroom door. She looked around, it was still early, so she wondered who it could be. Using her magic to open the door, she looked at the pony in the Doorway. It was none other than Celestia. Twilight looked at her, she looked like a wreck. In only a couple hours, she went from the proud, once regal ruler of the land, to a pint sized filly, barely capable of the most simple magic. Just as Celestia was rethinking coming to Twilight, just before she ran off into the darkness of the castle, Twilight nodded her over to her. "Twilight, I dont know why.... but...." Was all Celestia could mutter before quietly crying to herself again. "Thats fine Princess, it will all be okay, come here." Twilight said, motioning for her to lay next to her. Celestia slowly walked over to Twilight, and got herself comfy in the warmth of Twilight's body heat. "Twilight?" Celestia asked. "Yeah Princess?" She replied back. "I'm glad I chose you as my student." Celestia said. "I'm glad you did too." She muttered. Her only replies were soft snores of a sleeping Alicorn, snuggled up next to her. "Goodnight my little Tia." Twilight cooed, finally laying her head down to fall asleep, her eyes, fading into the darkness of dreamland. She looked around, it looked like her current room, except, everything was bigger. She looked into a mirror in the corner of the room. There was the single most beautiful mare Twilight had ever laid her eyes on. She had a gleaming white body, with a cutie mark of a Supernova Sun. Her mane was a mix of golden sun, and pitch black, blending perfectly, as was her tail. Her wings gleamed and shimmered in the sunlight. Twilight only had one explanation. This was Solaria. Her vision faded, until everything put itself back together. Now she was looking at both Celestia and Luna. "Solaria, please.... come to your senses, I know you're in there somewhere!" Celestia tried reasoning. "Stupid mother, you are nothing. I am more powerful than both you and Aunt Luna, and you both know that. Thats why you didn't want me to know about my father, that's why you hid who I really was all those years!" She had screamed. It felt just like she had said it, but she didn't even move her mouth, it was like she was on autopilot. "I'm sorry Solaria, I thought i could help, but I guess Luna was right. Now that it's embedded in you, there is no way to save you." Celestia said, charging her horn. Luna did as well, and they connected their horns. Solaria screamed as thier combined magic hit her, turning her into, well ashes. Celestia grabbed the nearest container she could find, one of Solaria's favorite vases, one that her coltfriend had designed for her. He had a very good talent at it. She scooped up every last bit, and put it in the vase, sealing it, so nothing could escape its walls. Then, the dream faded away in a flash of light. Twilight awoke, sunlight in her eyes. She looked at Celestia, sleeping so peacefully, such a small, and fragile little creature. She looked around, it seemed to be about just before midday. She sighed. She had enjoyed some personal time with her teacher and mentor, bur she had a find a way to fix it, before all of Equestria started asking questions. She used her magic to grab a couple books, and flipped through them. After about an hour of going through books, and finding nothing on Nightmare Force, she noticed Celestia starting to move. "Morning sleepyhorn." Twilight said. Celestia just yawned, and looked at Twilight. Her brain started to freak out when Twilight was bigger than her. The events of the previous night started to flash before her eyes, and she started to calm down. She noticed piles and piles of books lying around Twilight. She must have been studying to find a way to cure her. "Any Luck Twilight?" Celestia asked. Twilight shook her head. Just then, the door decided to open, and Luna entered, followed by the rest of the Mane 6. "I have found nothing either, dear sister. I'm afraid there may be no cure." Luna stated, obviously tired from raising and lowering the sun and moon respectively. "Then what am I going to do? The Citizens of Equestria cannot see me like this. It will cause a panic, and they could possibly blame you." Celestia stated. "Then the only possible temporary solution. We must get you to a safe place outside Canterlot." Luna replied. "But where?" Celestia asked. "I have a bit of room at the Library back in ponyville, seeing as Spike is at that Dragoncon for the week. It should be pretty quiet there?" Twilight offered. Luna looked at Twilight, then at Celestia. "Well that is in fact far from Canterlot." Luna said. "But what if someone in Ponyville recognizes me?" Celestia worried. "You could always say you are Celestia's cousin, Darling. It has worked before." Rarity stated. Vinyl was completely out of her DJ P0N-3 apparel, she disguised herself as Rarity for Celestia's comfort, you couldn't tell the difference if you tried. She even had the accent down perfectly. "I guess that will work." Celestia hesitated. "Go sister, take a break from work, I can hold the fort here for a week while looking for a solution, and Twilight can look while in Ponyville. If i find anything, ill tell you in a dream. How does that sound?" Luna asked. "I guess so... then what are we waiting for?" Celestia exclaimed, which was more of a squeak due to being a filly. In a matter of hours, they were packed, Vinyl had to become herself again (due to Rarity living in Ponyville, there couldn't be two Rarities.... that would confuse everyone.) So Vinyl packed her Wubs, and all of her stuff, into her Bag, which magically folded into a lighter than light briefcase. "Gotta love those Techies!" Vinyl said, enthusiastically. Everyone got a ticket for the train back to ponyville, all except Celestia, fillies, especially fillies related to royalty, rode free on the Friendship Express 2.0. As they all boarded, they all took a cabin, except Vinyl, Twilight, and Celestia, who took another cabin. Vinyl set down her stuff, and removed her glasses. Twilight looked into her eyes. Even with her contacts, her eyes sparkled like jewels. They were magnificent, which made sense, seeing as she is just as talented with gems and embroidery as her sister. Vinyl took a seat on the pad, kicked her hooves up, and chilled, while Celestia never left Twilight's side. Twilight noticed a bit of a detachment disorder with Celestia as a filly. She was too scared to do anything without Twilight around. It was like she trusted Twilight more than anyone in Equestria, even more than her own sister. Twilight shook her head, and looked at Celestia. Her head was on her hooves, and she wa lightly sleeping. Twilight smiled at how cute her teacher and mentor was right now, so innocent, yet so full of life. It made Twilight want to eat a pancake.... no idea why. She shook her head of that thought. She loved Celestia, but she had to find a way to turn her back right? Celestia wouldnt want to stay like this forever. Twilight was so worked up, even she fell asleep next to little 'Tia. They both faded back into the darkness of dreamland. > Shadows in the Day > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Filly'tia Chapter 4 - Shadows in the Day Celestia was awoken with a whistle. The train had stopped in Ponyville. She could tell because no one else was on the train, and there were a bunch of ponies outside the window. At least that's what she thought, which was disproven when she got picked up and put on a pony's back. "Sleep well princess?" Twilight Sparkle asked. Celestia could only nod, still half groggy from her slumber. As they left the train, she looked around. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a cloaked figure leave the end of the train, enter into a crowd, and completely disappearout of sight. "Ugh, thats the last time I dine on midnight cakes." Celestia muttered. "What's up Tia?" Twilight asked. "Don't worry about it, let us continue." Celestia said. Twilight smiled. She met up with the rest of the Mane 6. "Hey girls." Twilight said. "Oh... Um Hello Twilight." Fluttershy said. "What took you so long?" Rarity asked. "Sorry was waiting for little Tia to wake up." Twilight joked. Celestia's face turned red. "Well, I hafta get back home, Granny Smith needs me." Applejack said. "How about we all meet at Sugarcube Corner tomorrow? It might help if we all got a good nights sleep." Pinkie Pie stated. "Good idea, well meet tomorrow at noon?" Rainbow asked. Everyone nodded, and said their goodbyes. Fluttershy was happy to make it home, she had been away from her little friends for too long, and knew Angel couldn't handle everyone for more than a couple days. On her way back to her cottage, she noticed a cloaked figure running past her through the trees. She smiled and looked at it. It looked at her. "Hello Shadow." She said. He nodded, then disapeared in the trees. She only smiled. Twilight walked in, an exhausted Alicorn filly on her back. She sighed. It hadn't taken much to exhaust Celestia, seeing as she had only walked about ¼th of the way to the Library before complaining to Twilight. She shook her head, and sighed even more. Looking around, Spike, her best assistant, had left all of his toys out in the open. Celestia's eyes widened as she saw all of the toys, the Princess part of her mind fighting the filly part. She climbed off of Twilight's back, looked at the toys one more time, then charged into the pile, hugging a giant teddy bear. Twilight couldn't help but smile at how cute Celestia was. It was at that point, that Twilight had heard a loud knocking at the door. Curious to who would be bugging her at this point and time, Twilight hastily looked back at Celestia. She too had heard the knocking, and jumped into a pile of stuffed animals, only her eyes peeking out. Then the knocking resumed even louder than before. Twilight went to answer the door, but just as she got it open a crack, a speedy pink blob ran past Twilight. It was none other than Pinkie Pie. The creator of happiness and destroyer of the fourth wall.... whatever a fourth wall was. "Hi Twilight, I know we promised to meet tomorrow at Sugercube Corner, but I just came over to remind you that tomorrow is a very special day." She said, walking by the pile of stuffed animals. "Hey Tia, you're gonna need to hide better than that to avoid Auntie Pinkie Pie!" She said, without even taking so much of a glance at the pile. Twilight stood there in awe, before she realized the door was still open. She shut it, and made her way to the stuffed animal pile. Celestia was working her way on digging herself out, and Twilight smirked at the attempt. She used her magic to pull her out, collapsing the tower, before finally turning her attention back to the Pink Party Mare. "Special Day? What are you talking about Pinkie Pie?" Celestia asked, beating Twilight to the question. "Don't you remember Tia? It's the new year!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. "The New Year?" Twilight asked. "Yeah, so to celebrate, I'm throwing a NOT Party!" Pinkie Pie announced. Both Twilight and Celestia stared at Pinkie. "I'm NOT hosting it at Sugarcube Corner so make sure NOT to be there, or I'll have to tie you in a KNOT! You got that? Or do I NOT have to repeat it again?" Pinkie said, staring at her dumbfounded friends. "Okie Dokie, gotta go inform the others, Bye Bye Tia! See you tomorrow!" With that Pinkie Pie hopped out of the Library like a Rabbit on Highly sugared tea. That thought made Twilight giggle, remembering the time when Fluttershy decided to give Angel Bunny tea, and the rabbit snuck in a bunch of sugar cubes. The rabbit was jumping around for hours without end, before Twilight was finally called over to put Angel to sleep with a calming spell. The bunny slept for three days, and Fluttershy was so worried, but Twilight had assured her that Angel would be fine. After three days, Angel woke up with a headache and his old additude issues back. Eeyup, everything was back to normal after that. She chuckled to herself, then looked around. Celestia was nowhere to be found. "Where in the world did my little Tia go?" Twilight asked, hearing a giggle from behind a bookshelf. Twilight searched around, slowly creeping towards Celestia's hiding spot, behind a bookshelf. As Twilight got closer, Celestia backed up to move to a new hiding spot, when she backed up into something. She looked up, and saw Twilight. She had snuck up on her! "Gotcha!" Twilight said, starting to tickle Celestia. At that very same moment, a black cloaked figure stood outside the window of the Library, watching what was happening inside. He smiled, and chuckled to himself, before vanishing into thin air, leaving nothing but his mark of where he had been. A small black pegasi feather. The pony appeared out of nowhere, into an abandoned house's living room, lighting the fire place as he materialized. he removed his cloak, laid it neatly on the couch, then relaxed. enjoying himself by the fire, in his magically cloaked house. He had been living in the house since his parents passed on, using magic to keep it cloaked, making it look abandoned, when in fact, it was quite habitable. His cute mark showed a quill and parchment, announcing his skill of writing to the world. It etched into his dark blue skin like a night light standing out in the middle of a forest. But even the color of his body seemed bright compared to the darkness of his mane and tail, for both were so pitch black, if somepony were to stare off into them, they could possibly go insane. It's one of the many reasons He liked to keep to himself. He pulled out his journal and his quill, using his magic to retrieve them from the fireplace mantle. If anyone did happen to stumble upon his house while he was away, they could have never found the journal, secretly disguised as a brick in the fireplace mantle. He opened it, and began to write. Week 191, Day 1337: There are reasons why I have not written in days. I have been visiting a very old friend of mine in Caterlot, also keeping a close eye on Fluttershy. ever since she found me in the Everfree forest, and helped heal me, I have made it my duty to protect her. It just so happened that at the same time I was visiting Canterlot, Vinyl Scratch, the local DJ, was having another one of her Raves. She is not bad at it, but the music is just not my style of music. But, the interesting part of it, other than learning more about my Great Grandmother, Princess Celestia turned into a mere filly by some unknown force. I couldn't take it upon myself to see so much sorrow, so at the same time as devoting my careful eye to watching over the lovely and kind Fluttershy, I will keep my eyes on Celestia, and attempt to help guide Twilight Sparkle and the rest of her friends to a cure, as much as I can, while keeping hidden. The world is just not ready for me, not yet. ~ Shadow Spark Shadow closed the book, and replaced it in the mantlepiece. Smiling at the feats he had seen, and the information he had attained in the past three days, he was exausted, and happy to be in his own home again. He hadn't even realized how tired he had been before falling asleep to the slow pitter pattering of rain outside on his roof. The sweet melody of nature. Grandmother's Tears. > Counting Stars > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Princess Filly'tia Chapter 5 - Counting Stars "That one, over there in the North sky, was a great pony, known as Orion. He was brave for his time, and he didn't let anything stand between him and his friends. Quite like Rainbow Dash. So, when he finally passed on, Luna graced him as a constellation, and lifted him into the night sky, so his legacy would never be forgotten." Celestia motioned. "I never knew that Princess Luna could turn ponies into constellations?" Twilight asked. "Quite right, Princess Luna can do many things you wouldn't think she could do, such as run the country for a while, while I take a vacation." "Hmm, what about that one? The one that is supposed to represent Starswirl?" "Oh Starswirl's Beard? That constellation depicts Starswirl in his last moments, finalizing the spell he had been working on for the last decade of his life. Starswirl was a great wizard, but an even greater friend." Celestia said, starting to tear up. "Oh 'Tia, it's ok." She offered Celestia a hug, who gladly accepted. "It will all be OK, don't you worry, we will find a cure for this, I promise you." "You know Twilight, you are a great student, a great wizard, but an even greater mother. I love you Mom." The comment made even Twilight a bit curious. But she smiled, and just cuddled closer to Celestia. "We should get some sleep, we have a big day ahead of us." Twilight said. Celestia nodded, and they went inside. Twilight laid in her bed, after she tucked Celestia in with her. "Do you want me to sing you a lullaby?" Celestia simply nodded again. "OK here it goes." Hush now, quiet it now, it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed. Hush now, quiet now, close your sleepy eyes. Hush now, quiet now, my how time sure flies. Drifting, drifting off to sleep the days excitement behind you. Drifting, drifting off to sleep let the joy of dreamland find you. "Good Night Tia, sweet dreams" she said, before she too drifted off to sleep. As Twilight ushered Celestia into Rarity's Boutique, she happened to look around. The only pony was Rarity working on her dresses. She looked up, and after seeing Twilight, she stopped what she was doing, and yelled up the stairs. "Vinyl, Twilight is Here!" Rarity said. "I'll be right down sis!" Vinyl yelled from upstairs "You two are sisters?" Celestia asked. "Why yes, princess. Twin sisters in fact. Don't you see the uncanny family resemblance?" Rarity asked. "Since Vinyl dressed as you Rarity, I can see it." Celestia said. Rarity glared at her sister. "Vinyl! What did I say to save that trick for April fools!" Viny grinned sheepishly. "Sorry sis. But we needed to comfort widdle Celestia, she needed some familiar ponies around her to comfort her. Blagh, redundancy." Twilight did not approve of the 'widdle Celestia' comment. But before she could anything about it, Rarity interrupted. "Fine..." Rarity sighed. "But how can you two be sisters? The last time I checked your ID profile, Rarity, you only had Sweetie Belle as your sister." Rarity hesitated on what to say. "...She is my long lost twin sister." Rarity lays her arm over her sister. "She recently got adopted back into the family." "Uh. Yeah." Vinyl replied. Celestia smirked. Years of experience has taught her that they were lying or bending the truth. "You hesitated, tell the truth." She pointed at the twins. "I knew we should've practiced this more, sis." Vinyl groaned. "Indeed." there was a thinking pause. "Can you keep a secret, Princess?" "Of course." "Rarity's my clone." Vinyl as soon as Celestia was done with her sentence. "What?" Rarity facehooved. "Way to make the long story short, Vinyl... You see your highness, we were once the same pony. I enjoyed being both a graceful lady and an obnoxious DJ." "Two conflicting traits for one pony to have. We, or just I at the time created two alter egos." Vinyl continued. "So like a split per-" "NO!!!" The twins shouted in unison. Celestia and Twilight were taken back. The twins collected themselves. "Dreadfully sorry, that's a touchy subject." Rarity apologized. Vinyl continued the story. "Our secret would've been exposed sooner or later. We decided our Birthday was our best bet." "We told a select few ponies about it first, namely Sweetie Belle and Octavia." At point Rarity and Vinyl smacked the ball back and forth. "Octavia, for the record was my best friend, tied with Fluttershy." "When our birthday arrived we told all our best friends." "Buuuuuuuuuut~ 'Tavi, being the best marefriend (just my roommate at the time,) I could ever ask for, asked Twilight to split us into two!" Vinyl Motioned "Indeed. My heart is still after stallions, just letting you know." added Rarity Celestia turned to Twilight. "Is that true?" "Yes." Twilight confirmed. "Do you have any proof that you had a double life?" Celestia asked. The twins looked at each other. "Show her your flank Vinyl." "'Kay." "Now watch as Vinyl, with no magic changes her cutie mark, from hers to mine." Vinyl did just that. "And yes, we earned two cutie marks." "Fascinating, somepony should write a book about that. And Twilight did that? I'm so proud of you." Celestia said. Twilight blushed at the compliment. "Would you like to demonstrate sometime?" Twilight was worried. "She was unconscious for a few days after doing it. I don't think she thinks of it as a great accomplishment. Or want to try again. Isn’t that right darling?" Rarity added. "It is an accomplishment for me, but I never going to try again." Twilight explained. "I’m still proud of you." Celestia muzzled Twilight. "She had to be dragged home, but the rest of the party went swell." Vinyl said. The word party just clicked something in Twilight’s mind. "Omygoshomygosh. We’re late!" "Late for what?" Celestia asked. Something in Vinyl's mind clicked as well. "Late for a meeting with our friends!" She exclaimed.
