Where am I? Why can't I remember anything?” the white little unicorn thought to herself as she rubbed her head with her hooves, and she found out her head was being bandaged. “Why is there a bandage on my head?” she asked herself. She looked around the room, and found a bunch of ‘Get Well Soon’ cards on a desk nearby. She got out of the bed and walked towards the desk and picked up a card that is decorated with fancy jewelry and gems with a dash of glitter sprinkled around the corners. “Dear Sweetie Belle, I hope you will feel better soon, love Rarity...?” she read the first sentence out loud. “P.S. In case you don't remember, you bumped your head pretty hard last night.” she reads the sentence that is written smaller than the first. She put the card back on the table, but instead of making it stand like the rest of the cards, she put it laying down. She found out there was a box wrapped up with pink ribbon behind a few cards, but still can be seen. She reached for the box and unwrapped it. Inside, she found five apples with a yellow card that says “Dear Sweetie Belle, hope ya feel better real soon! Here are some apples for ya in case you're hungry. From your friend, Applebloom and Applejack.” She ate one of the apples, and it tasted so delicious! “Mmmmm... That's one heck of an apple!” she said to herself as she took another bite on the apple. She finally finished her apple and closed the box that had apples in it, to keep it fresh, then she went to read all of the cards. She found one card, the writing inside is pretty bad, and she wasn't sure who is it from. But all she can read out is ‘Geert bell sommm.’ “That pony needs english lessons! Further more, she needs to learn how to write. I barely understand what that pony wrote!” she thought to herself as she put the cards back on the desk. She walked back to the bed, she was bored. She putted her head under the pillow, then tried walking in circles, scooting on the ground, singing off tune, staring at the wall, looking around, and found a paper beside the desk. She walked to it and reads out “Ponyville Hospital?” “I'm in an hospital?” she asked herself. Of course, nopony was in the room, so all she could do is randomly talk to herself. Suddenly, the door slowly opened, making some creaking noises. Sweetie Belle thought it was some kind of pony who is nuts, and wanting to kill anypony he or she saw, so she screamed. “AHHHHHHHHHH!!! Please don't kill me! I was just awake for a few minutes! I done nothing!” A white mare came out behind the door, closing her ears with her hooves, “Sweetie Belle, darling, please don't scream like that! And why would I want to kill you?” Sweetie Belle was embarrassed what had just happened just now, so she calmed down and sat on her bed once again. “So... Who are you?” she asked giving out a smile. The white mare laughed for a second, “Ahaha! Nice joke, Sweetie Belle. But that doesn't work on me!” The white mare saw Sweetie Belle tilted her head in confusion and her face changed into a worried look. “Please do tell me you're joking.” she said, sweating nearly everywhere. “Me? Joke about what?” “Oh dear... You have lost your memories!” the white mare said, nearly shouted in front of Sweetie Belle. “Okay, Rarity, calm down. This isn't how a lady should act!” Rarity said to herself hiding her face from Sweetie Belle for a while. She turned back, facing Sweetie Belle with a smile. “Okay, my name is Rarity, and I am your sister. Your name is Sweetie Belle, if you do not know, and I live in my boutique.” Sweetie Belle stayed silence for a moment, then jumped out of her bed. “YOU LIVE IN A BOUTIQUE?!?!?!” “Well, yes.” Rarity answered. “Oh my gosh! This is so exciting! I am so very excited! Wheee!!!” Sweetie Belle ran around in circles with joy, jumping on the bed, dashing through the room, walking on walls, and hanging upside down from the ceiling! She even climbed onto the wall without caring she would fall or not! Rarity was in shock when she saw her little sister running across walls to walls and jumping off the wall, landing on the ground, without a scratch. Rarity's mouth was wide open. “H-how... What...? Did you...? Oh, never mind that.” she said as she facehoof herself. “Sometimes, things are better kept as a secret.” she thought to herself. “So...” Sweetie Belle said as she bopped Rarity's nose. “So what?” Rarity asked a little confused with what her little sister was saying. “Am I going to live in your boutique?” Sweetie Belle asked with a huge smile on her face, and trying to sound polite as she asked Rarity. “Why, certainly, dear! You're leaving tomorrow. Why'd you ask?” Rarity answered. Sweetie Belle bounced away, looking back at Rarity. “Oh... It's nothing...” Sweetie Belle said as she tried to hold her excitement. She wanted to squeal in joy and happiness. Rarity looked at the clock which is hanging right beside the bed. “Oh dear, it's that late already?” The short hand was pointing to eight, and the other is pointing to two. “What?” Sweetie Belle looked at Rarity. “You need to go to bed now.” Rarity said, levitating her little sister back to the bed, and tucked her in. “You're leaving this hospital bright and early tomorrow, so you better get your sleep.” “Okay, Fairity.” Sweetie Belle said, as she smiled to Rarity. “It's Rarity, but I'll be leaving now, so sleep tight, and sweet dreams.” Rarity said to her sister, waving goodbye as she turned off the lights and left. Sweetie Belle looked around the dark room. “It looks scarier than it looks like when it has lights...” she whispered to herself. She found a lamp on the bedside table, and decided to turn it on. She didn't notice there was a button on the side, and thought you needed to slam the table to switch it on. Around ninety tries, her hoof was aching. “Oww..... Now, I have a sore left hoof and a bandaged head!” She glared at the lamp, and shouted “DUMB LAMP!” She decided to sleep without the lights, so she tried. She closed her eyes, and repeated the same thing all over again. “It's not scary, it's not scary, it's just dark. It's just dark. Don't be afraid!” As she opened her eyes, she imagined there was a dark brown hairy monster, trying to eat her. “AHHHHHHH!!!!” She screamed and hid under her pillow. “Okay, Sweetie Belle. There is a dark hairy monster trying to eat you, so be very afraid.....!” she thought to herself. As the time passes by, she fell asleep around eleven at night. > The Boutique > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 2 : The Boutique The next morning, around eight, Rarity walked into the hospital, happily trotting into Sweetie Belle's room. “Wakey, wakes, Sweetie Belle, darling!” Rarity said as she opened the door. She found Sweetie Belle sleeping peacefully on the bed, snoring as loud as a bear. “Oh dear, rough night sleep, I see?” she asked the sleeping Sweetie Belle. Rarity giggled as she thought about one funny thing. She begins poking Sweetie Belle gently and said “Are you alive?” and she giggled as she said the last word. Sweetie Belle awoke from the poking and giggling, and the first thing she did was scream. “AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Please don't eat me, Mr. Hairy! I just been here for a day, and I don't want to die! Rarity closed her ears, but failed to cover the scream in time. She rubbed her ears gently, “Sweetie Belle, darling. If you keep this up, I will not be able to hear anypony by the end of this month!” Sweetie Belle's face frowned, and she backed out a little. Rarity could hear little whimpers made from Sweetie Belle, and she felt sorry for her. “I'm so sorry, Fair— I mean, Rarity.” Rarity stopped rubbing her ears and went closer to Sweetie Belle and hugged her. “It's okay, dear. Just promise me you won't do that anymore. Will you?” “Okay!” Sweetie Belle said happily as she returned the hug Rarity gave her. “So, are we going to the boutique now?” she asked as they stopped hugging. Rarity nodded with a smile on her face. Sweetie Belle bounced with glee and joy, a huge smile on her face. “Yay! I'm going to a boutique! Hooray!” she said happily. She suddenly stopped bouncing and looked at the cards and the box, and asked “Hey, Rarity. Do you mind if you do your magic thingy to bring those cards back home?” “Of course! Anything for my dear sister.” Rarity said as she levitated the cards and the box and went near the door. “Anything else? If not, let's go.” Sweetie Belle looked at the room one more time, just making sure she wasn't leaving anything important behind. One finale check, and she was ready to go. She shook her head, and Rarity went out the door with a bunch of cards and a box floating behind Rarity as Sweetie Belle followed her from behind. Few minutes of walking later, they reached to the boutique, and Sweetie Belle was shocked when she first saw the boutique. “OhMyGosh,IsThatBoutiqueAlwaysThisBig?IfSoWhyDidINotComeOutOfTheHospitalEarlierToSeeIt?” Sweetie Belle was able to say all those words with one breath. Rarity wasn't sure what her sister said, because it was too quick, but then she opened the door. “Want to come in?” Sweetie Belle nodded and went inside the boutique. She was standing a few feet away from the entrance as she went in. Her mouth wide open, shocked by how clean it is. Rarity levitated the cards and the box to a table and set them down there. “It's a little bit messy, so I hope you don't mind. I have an order last night, so I have to finish making the dress before I clean.” Rarity said. “No...” “What,” Rarity said in confusion. “This isn't messy at all! It's perfect!” Sweetie Belle said. She went to the carpet and touched it, “These carpets, their so perfectly washed, and they smell clean!” Next, she quickly ran to the toilet. “The toilet so white, and it smelled like lavender!” She explored the whole house within less than fifteen minutes, and is so excited to see more. “Everything was perfect. The smell, the color, the noise, the feel the softness, the everything!” “I'm happy you liked it.” Rarity said happily. “Oh right, I forgotten, I got a gift for you!” “A gift? For me?” Sweetie Belle jumped with joy, eager to know what is it. “Is it a toy? Is it a game?” Her mind filled with thoughts of what it can be. Rarity suddenly came back with a white dress with some pink lace around the bottom and purple gems on the lace and it suits Sweetie Belle perfectly! Sweetie Belle tried it on, and it actually looked pretty on her. “Oh my gosh! This dress is perfect!” Sweetie Belle said, clapping her hooves. “Now, Sweetie Belle, dear. Tomorrow is Applejack's birthday, and I need to design a dress for her as her birthday gift. So why don't you go meet your friends?” Rarity said. “But, where can I find them?” Sweetie Belle asked as she tilted her head slightly. “Find a house that looks like a gingerbread house, and in there you'll meet a pink pony, her name is Pinkie Pie. She'll show you where your friends are. Now, go along now.” Rarity said as she waved goodbye and went back to sewing clothes. Sweetie Belle walked out of the boutique, “The boutique is so beautiful on the outside! she thought to herself. After a few seconds of staring, she snapped out. “Rarity said to find a house that looks like it's made out of gingerbread. That can't be too hard.” she thought to herself once again. She walked around Ponyville, searching for the house Rarity told her to find, but after a few minutes. She wasn't able to find any house that looked like a gingerbread. “Why is it so hard to find a gingerbread house?!?! Argh!!!” she shouted in the middle of Ponyville Park, which is near the school. A medium pink pony with a silver pony was walking pass by, and Sweetie Belle thought they may know where the gingerbread house is. “Hello there, my name is Sweetie Belle. And if you don't mind, do you know where can I find a house that look like it is made out of gingerbread?” The pink and silver pony stared at each other and stared back at Sweetie Belle. “My name is like, Diamond Tiara, and you, Sweetie whoever you are, stop talking to us!” “And my name is Silver Spoon, and yeah! Stop talking to us! We don't want to be caught talking to a blank flank!” Silver Spoon said, hoof bumping with Diamond Tiara. “Why are you so mean...? I don't even know you.” Sweetie Belle said sadly. Diamond Tiara looked at Sweetie Belle with an annoyed look. “Look here, blank flank. Stop joking around. You know us, and we know you, and we are like your so called worst enemies, or something like that.” Shiver Spoon nodded, agreeing with what Diamond Tiara had said. “And we hate you. So get lost!” The both of them walked away laughing, leaving Sweetie Belle standing there sadly. “I... I... I did something wrong... Did I?” she whispered softly to herself. > Gingerbread House ; Sugarcube Corner > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3 : Gingerbread House ; Sugarcube Corner Sweetie Belle stayed at the same place she was, but this time, crying with her hooves blocking her face, preventing anypony to see her. She cried so loud, that even ponies from a few feet away could hear her. Most of the ponies asked her what happened, and wanted to help her, but she rejected all of the ponies' help. All of the ponies slowly walked away, looking back at Sweetie Belle several times, and then facing back to the front and disappear as they walked. Applebloom was passing by, she was heading to Sugarcube Corner, and she found Sweetie Belle laying on the ground, crying and sobbing. She walked to Sweetie Belle and lowered herself, so she could try to take a peek at her face. “Eh... Sweetie Belle?” she asked Sweetie Belle as she tries to take a peek. But failed to. She stood up and grabbed her friend's hoof and helped her up. “Come on now, don't be such a crybaby.” Sweetie Belle wiped her tears, still sobbing, her face was filled with grass, but she wiped them off anyways. “W-who are y-you? And what do you want from a useless pony like me?” “Oh, come on, Sweetie Belle! Ya ain't useless! And mah name is Applebloom. Rarity told me that ya lost yer memories, so ah'm gonna try mah best to help ya out.” Applebloom said, trying to comfort her crying friend. “Come on now, let's head to Sugarcube Corner. Scootaloo is probably there already.” Sweetie Belle gave out a weak smile, and followed Applebloom to Sugarcube Corner. There, she saw a orange pegasus. “Oh, what's up, Sweetie Belle!” Scootaloo ran towards Sweetie Belle, and looked at Applebloom. “What take you so long? I thought you said you'll be here with Sweetie Belle a few minutes ago!” “Well, ya see... Sweetie Belle was kinda crying at the park... And well, ah can't just stand there and watch her cry! She's our friend!” Apple responded, hoping that it was what Scootaloo was asking. “Oh right, eh, Sweetie Belle, this is Scootaloo.” Sweetie Belle stared at Scootaloo, running around in circles, and then stopped. “Are you a girl, or a boy?” Scootaloo facehoof herself right on the face. “Why does this happen every single time!?” Scootaloo shouted, her head on the ground, with Applebloom laughing at the side. Sweetie Belle wasn't sure what kind of answer is that, but she kinda ignore it. “Well, I'm a girl! Can't you see? I mean, long tail! Stallions and colts don't even have long tails, at least,I don't think so.” Sweetie Belle looked at Scootaloo for a moment, keeping the silence, but apparently somepony wasn't quiet enough... Sweetie Belle glared at Applebloom, hoping that she knows what she wants. Applebloom stopped laughing, and sat still, closing her mouth with her hoof. Sweetie Belle continued staring at Scootaloo, and Scootaloo almost dropped a sweat. “You're a boy in girl's make up, aren't you?” Sweetie Belle said. Scootaloo's mouth was wide open, and her face fell onto the ground. “I'm a girl! Not a boy! And I hate make ups!” “Whoa nelly, chill down Scoots. She's just kidding.” Applebloom reassured her friend, “And remember, she lost her memories, that is why she thinks you're a boy.” “Yeah ri—” Scootaloo's sentence was cut off with a accidental punch on the face by Pinkie Pie. “Is that Sweetie Belle? Of course it is! I mean, how could I not know if you are Sweetie Belle? Duh! I'm Pinkie Pie, and I have heard about your sad sad news, and want to introduce you to every pony! And I do mean every pony in Ponyville! Well, maybe not every pony, it's just because Zecora lives in the Everfree Forest, and every pony knows that it's dangerous there, so I may or may not be able to introduce you to Zecora. I'm not sure, I'm always not sure! Oh! I know! How about we throw you a happy get well soon party?! This will be so exciting!” Pinkie Pie said in a very fast, squeaky voice, leaving three little fillies sitting on the ground, confused, as she bounced away happily to the kitchen. “Now, who's that pink pony?” Sweetie Belle asked, hoping to get an answer from either Scootaloo or Applebloom. Scootaloo stood up, stretching her hooves, and answered Sweetie Belle, “That's Pinkie. She's crazy and random most of the time, and she knows nearly everypony here.” “She even could come out of no where. Even the places you do not expect her to come from! Sponges, apples, trees, cannons, ya name it!” Applebloom continued Scootaloo's answer. “That's just plain creepy.” Sweetie Belle said, looking a little scared and worried that one day, Pinkie might pop out of no where and haunt her down. Scootaloo picked up a cupcake from a tray, and gave it to Sweetie Belle. “Here ya go, Sweetie Belle. Pinkie baked some of these especially for you. It's your favourite. Or it was your favourite.” she went back to the tray and grab another cupcake for herself, and lick the icing off the cupcake before she ate the whole cupcake. Sweetie Belle thanked Scootaloo for handing her the cupcake, and she looked down at it. Staring at the perfectly frosted cupcake with white color icing and purple and pink sprinkles. She sniffed the cupcake, it smelled like vanilla and blueberry combined together. She took one tiny bite out of the cupcake, “Mmmmmm, so yummy and tasty! It's so sweet!” She took another bite, and another, until she ate the whole cupcake. She went to Applebloom and asked her if they had anymore of those cupcakes, “Applebloom, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any of those cupcakes?” “Well, of course. Their on that tray over there.” Applebloom pointed at the tray which is near where Scootaloo is standing. Sweetie Belle walked towards the tray, like a predator that is hunting it's prey. Then jumped on the table and gobble the cupcake down! Instead of tasting a wonderful vanilla and blueberry flavor, she tasted apple and orange flavors, both combined with a slight taste of chocolate. “Ew.... What is that yucky taste?!” She said as she tries to get the flavor out of her mouth by rubbing her tongue using her hooves. “Who's cupcake is this anyways? It has yellow icing, and some pink icing that shaped like a ribbon with some orange sprinkles!” “Oh, that was mine. Ah don't even like it. Pinkie keeps thinking mah favorite flavor is orange and apple both combined, with a slight taste of chocolate. But mine is apples! Just plain old apples!” Applebloom said. “Oh, and, eh... The taste it kinda strong.” she said, pointing to Sweetie Belle's tongue. “How long does it take you to take this flavor off anyways?” Sweetie Belle asked, sticking her tongue out. Applebloom scratched her head for a moment, “Ah'm not so sure, but ah think it's more than a month.” “MORE THAN A MONTH?!” Sweetie Belle shouted in her squeaky voice. “I don't think I can live with this taste that long!” Scootaloo laughed softly at one corner, then slowly increases her volume, until she fell down into the ground, laughing loudly. “It's not funny!” Sweetie Belle stomped her hoof on the ground, “What happens if you got this taste in you mouth, and unable to wash it off for a month?” Scootaloo kept laughing, but she was able to say something. “Ahahahah!!! Well, haha! I.. Well, hah! I tasted that, hehehe! Before! BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAA!!!” Sweetie Belle stomped her hoof on the ground once again, and she went out of Sugarcube Corner. “Dumb Scoota what.” She said to herself, looking back at laughing Scootaloo and confused Applebloom. She walked away, until she met the same two ponies who bullied her just now. She tried to hide, but the two ponies seem to notice her before she was able to hide behind a barrel filled with grapes. “Well, well, well... If it isn't one of those, what should I say?” Diamond Tiara said, as she tries to think of an insulting word for Sweetie Belle, “Blank Flank crusaders?” “I'm... I'm.... I'm....” Sweetie Belle said softly about to cry. “I'm not a blank... Flank...” the last word turned into a squeak. Diamond Tiara flicked Sweetie Belle's horn, “Don't you dare squeak like that! You may hurt my ears, and if that happens, you'll know what will happen to you.” she said glaring at Sweetie Belle. “Hey! Nopony says that to Sweetie Belle!” Scootaloo said, defending her friend. Diamond Tiara backed out a few steps. “What did you say?!” “I said nopony says that to Sweetie Belle!” Scootaloo said as bravely as she can, trying to threatened Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, so they would leave. “What do you think you have better than her anyways?!” “Well, we got our cutie marks.” Silver Spoon said, showing off her mark. “And we are much more prettier than you!” Diamond Tiara said poking Scootaloo. “At least we have much more friends than you! All the time, I only see you and Silver Spoon together!” Scootaloo shouted in rage. “You know what? Forget about it. This conversation is over. Nopony even likes you.” Scootaloo said, dragging Sweetie Belle along with her and left Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon standing there. “URGH!!!!” Diamond Tiara said in rage. “This isn't over... Come on Silver! We got something else better to do than staying her talking with a bunch of blank flanks!” “Yeah! What do they think they have better than us? Humph!” Silver Spoon trotted along with Diamond Tiara. Meanwhile, Sweetie Belle was repeatedly thanking Scootaloo for defending her. “It's nothing, really. Could you let go of me now?” Scootaloo asked, trying to wiggle her way out of Sweetie Belle's grip. “Oh, okay.” Sweetie Belle let go off Scootaloo's hoof and dusted off some dirt on her hooves. “I think I better be going now. There is so many places to explore!” “Yeah, you go on ahead. I need go grab more cupcakes. See ya!” Scootaloo said, waving goodbye, and trotted happily. Sweetie Belle waved goodbye to her too, and walked away. “Well, I guess that went well. But that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon pony was mean. I better tell Rarity about this once I go back home.” she thought to herself. She walked around the area, and found a humongous oak tree in the middle of where she was going. She went inside to check it out. “Wow, is this a library?” “You bet it is!” A pony walked down the stairs, and introduced herself, “My name is Twilight Sparkle, and I bet you may have forgotten that. But that's alright.” > Library In An Oak Tree > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 4 : Library in an Oak Tree “My name is Twilight Sparkle, but you probably forgotten about that anyways, but it's okay.” Twilight said calmly coming downstairs. “So, how is your memory going? Met any of your friends?” “Yeah! I did meet some of my friends!” Sweetie Belle said happily, and joyfully. “I also did met two bullies.” Sweetie Belle said with a frown on her face. Twilight lifted her chin up, and gave her a smile. "Come on now, don't be sad. Bullies are normal to a filly at your age. Besides, one day, they'll stop bullying you either way." Twilight comforted her. Sweetie Belle knew that she would be right, for some reason, her mind was saying that she's the smartest pony around. But she isn't sure if that is true or not, so she didn't say anything. "Rarity told me that you were coming here somehow, so I kinda tidy up the place earlier. There may be some areas where it isn't that clean." she turned around and looked at Spike, who is tip toeing slowly, and quietly. "So, what do you need?" Twilight changed her expression. Sweetie Belle looked around “Uhm....” There were too many books around that she doesn't know which one to start with or to read. Twilight knew how was Sweetie Belle feeling. “I'll let you look around first, maybe you'll be able to find a book that you're interested in.” Twilight walked upstairs and continued reading her book that she left off. Sweetie Belle was still looking around the shelves, seeing from Science, Biology, Nature to almost all the sections in the library. The only book that somehow got her attention is fabric making. “I see you found a book you like.” Twilight came down with her book. “I just finished mine. What's yours about?” She levitated the book back to it's original place. Sweetie Belle showed the book to Twilight, “Fabric making? Want to be a designer like your sister, I see.” Sweetie Belle noded. “Yup! I want to grow up just like my sister. She's so beautiful and pretty, and her mane is so neat yet fluffy.” Sweetie Belle said in a squeaky voice. “She even used the most highest quality shampoo and conditioner for her mane!” Twilight didn't know about the high quality shampoo and conditioner, but she prefer to forget it. “I can see why her hair is always neat.” Twilight said rolling her eyes. “Is there anything else you want to borrow?” Twilight asked, changing the subjects back to books. “Nope! I don't think so.” Sweetie Belle replied. “Okay then, have a nice day.” Twilight said waving her hoof as Sweetie Belle went off with the book in her mouth. “Hey Sweetie Belle!” A familiar voice called out. Sweetie Belle looked behind to see who is there, it seem to be Applebloom. “The Sister Social is coming up next week, wanna join?” “Mmhmmm mhm muhhrr?” Sweetie Belle said with the book in her mouth. Applebloom tilted her head, and Sweetie Belle spotted the book out. “I said, what is the Sister Social?” She repeated. Applebloom laughed. “Right, ya lost ya memories. So, allow me to jag it up a bit. The Sister Social is a fun activity that teams of sisters join. The team must help their teammate out, of course, their teammate is their sister too. But one team could have two sisters, not three, not four, just two.” Applebloom explained. “There will be apple tossing, making grape juice the traditional way, and all sorts of fun!” “That does sound like fun! I'm going to ask Rarity!” Sweetie Belle picked up the book with her mouth and ran off to the boutique. Once she is in the boutique, she putted the book on a table and ran upstairs where Rarity was designing her dresses. “Rarity!” Rarity looked behind, and she saw her little sister. “What is it, Sweetie?” “Applebloom told me about some fun activity called the Sister Social, can we go? Pleeasseeeeeee????” Sweetie Belle begged. “Oh, uh... Well, I don't want to upset you or anything. I really don't. But, the last time we attended, I have to get a three hours mud bath. Urh!” She imagined the sight of her getting all muddy again, in real mud, in the farm. Sweetie Belle's ears drooped, “I guess you don't wanna go...” She sighed. “I thought you were going to go, I mean, I lost my memories and stuff, and I don't remember anything.” Her sister bit her hoove, she was having a guilt trip. “Okay, fine! I'll attend the Sister Social!” Rarity gave up. Sweetie Belle's face lit up and she bounced around the room with joy, and glee, and happiness. “Yay! We're going to the Sister Hoove Social!” She sung. Rarity sighed, and she forced out a smile, “But promise me you'll go to the spa along with me at the end of the social.” Sweetie Belle nodded. “Okay, now. Run along, I have a lot of things to attend to.” Rarity turned away and begin sewing the dresses again. Sweetie Belle looked at her sister as she slowly stitches the dress. Sweetie Belle sat down, and closely look at the stitching. “This is what Rarity does for a living?” She questioned herself in her mind. “That does not look fun at all.” She whispered quietly. Rarity turned around, “What is it Sweetie?” “Nothing! Uhm... You could go back to your sewing thing.” Sweetie Belle said, waving her hooves up in the air. Rarity shrugged and continued sewing the dress. Sweetie Belle stood up, and walked over to a board and pinned the poster onto the board. “I'm going to leave this here, in case Rarity forgets.” She smiled as she looked at the poster. > Cottage of Animals > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 5 : Cottage of Animals “I'm heading out!” Sweetie Belle yelled, in hope that Rarity could hear her from her working area. Eventually, Rarity's working area isn't so far from where Sweetie Belle was standing, so she could hear her little sister perfectly fine, even without the yelling. “Okay, Sweetie Belle darling. Just be back before five, and not a minute later than that.” Rarity answered. Sweetie Belle nodded, even though she knew Rarity couldn't see it. She turned the door knob, it was pretty hard at first, and it took her two minutes to finally opened the door. She went outside and closed the door, and trotted along. She looked up into the sky, and saw a rainbow dashing through. “A dashing rainbow? Wow, that's new.” She said it out loud, and she heard it as a rhyme. “Why did I say that? Almost in rhymes?” she questioned herself in her thoughts. She stared at the dashing rainbow, and it slowed down. It seems to be a pony. The pony was flying down to the ground, and landing right in front of Sweetie Belle. “What's up.” The cyan pegasus said, greeting Sweetie Belle, in a weird way. “Well, mostly the sky.” Sweetie Belle answered as she pointed to the sky. The cyan pegasus chuckled, “My name is Rainbow Dash, and well, that is just my way of saying ‘hey’” Rainbow Dash explained. “Okay. Uhm, is your mane normal?” Sweetie Belle asked, pointing to Rainbow Dash's mane and tail. Rainbow Dash tilted her head, “What do you mean?” “Well, it's just that everypony I've met so far has one or two colors for their manes and tails, but yours is much more different. Is your hair dyed or something? If so, what was your real hair color?” “Eh, no. My hair is not dyed. And yes, that is kinda normal. Some ponies may have three or more different color for their hair, but it all depends.” Rainbow Dash explained. Rainbow Dash walked around Sweetie Belle, to see if she had any bruises on her hooves. “You still remember how to talk, walk, and even write. I'm impressed.” Sweetie Belle tilted her head in confusion, “Isn't everypony suppose to know that? Of course, unless they are little foals and colts.” “Yeah, well. You lost your memories and stuff. So, I just thought that you forgotten how to walk that you begin crawling on the floor and stuff. Also, I even thought you don't know how to talk that you will start acting like a baby, and to end it off, scribbles.” “Scribbles?” “You know, what little foals do when their–” Rainbow Dash paused and fell onto the ground. “Egghead...” She said in a very creepy yet upsetting tone. “A pony whose head shaped like a egg?” Sweetie Belle questioned. Rainbow Dash shook her head and stood up once again. “Nah. I think that's something ya need to talk with Twilight about, kid.” She messed Sweetie Belle's hair, and Sweetie Belle used her hoof to comb it. She looked up to Rainbow Dash, and said, “Do you do that to everypony you see?” Rainbow Dash looked over at Sweetie Belle with her pupil shrunk down. “Wh-what? No! I just do that to little fillies and colts. Ya know, for fun?” Sweetie Belle shook her head. “I don't think that's fun at all. It's more of annoying if you ask me.” “Yeah, whatever.” Rainbow Dash replied. “Oh, gotta go kid! See you around next time!” Rainbow Dash waved goodbye and dashed off into the clouds in the sky. “I wonder what's that all about. It seems like every pegasus has something to do up there.” Sweetie Belle looked up into the sky, her eyes sparkling by the sunshine. “If only I could go up there... Too bad I'm a unicorn and not a pegasus.” She shrugged and trotted away. She met with one of the Cutie Mark Crusaders on the way. “Oh, hey there!” She ran over to Scootaloo, but mistaken her as Applebloom. “You're Applebloom right?” “No. I'm Scootaloo.” Scootaloo corrected. “Anywho, I just see that you have met Rainbow Dash.” Sweetie Belle looked up in the sky, and saw a butterfly, she ignored Scootaloo and begun to chase the butterfly. “Ooooh~ Pretty!” Scootaloo watched Sweetie Belle running around, chasing the butterfly. “Butterflies will fly away from you no matter how hard you try,” Scootaloo thought, giving out a smile as she watched her friend trying her best to chase the butterfly. “Unless you're Fluttershy, that's a different story.” Sweetie Belle stopped chasing the butterfly, and fell onto the ground, “I'm exhausted!” She whined. Scootaloo walked towards Sweetie Belle, “Do you like butterflies that much?” “Well, their pretty,” Sweetie Belle looked up in the sky. “Well, then, how about animals?” “Wait, there are animals here?” Sweetie Belle stood up in all fours, and looked around the place, “Where are you, animals?” She tried searching the bushes, thinking there may be a bear somewhere. Scootaloo sighed, and pulled Sweetie Belle by the tail, and dragged her all the way to Fluttershy's cottage, Scootaloo knocked on the door three times, and a yellow Pegasus with pale pink hair opened the door, “Uhm, how may I help you?” “It's me, Scootaloo, with Sweetie Belle,” Scootaloo said. Fluttershy moved away from the entrance, “Oh, please come in.” Sweetie Belle walked in first, with Scootaloo behind her tail. Fluttershy shut the door gently after the two fillies entered the cottage. “Did Sweetie Belle really lost her memories?” Fluttershy looked down at Scootaloo. “Yeah,” Scootaloo nodded. “She even mistaken me as Applebloom.” Fluttershy looked at Sweetie Belle, who is now cuddling Angel tightly, “That poor dear,” Fluttershy said softly. “The bunny?” Scootaloo asked. Fluttershy shook her head, “No, I mean Sweetie Belle,” she pointed at the white unicorn, who is practically squeezing an innocent bunny to death. Scootaloo stared at the bunny, who was struggling hard to get out of Sweetie Belle's tight grasp. “Yes... Die soon, so I could take away all your carrots,” Scootaloo thought evilly, but she never showed her evil expression, so nopony knows. I know what you readers are thinking. Why does Scootaloo want Angel bunny to die? Well, that's a different story. But, I'll be sure to write it as a special chapter after the story ends. Anyways, back to the story! Sweetie Belle released the bunny, and gasped. “A green sphere!” She exclaimed with joy, and grabbed it. “Uhm, Sweetie Belle... That's a tortoise,” a Fluttershy spoke quietly, but Sweetie Belle didn't hear her. Sweetie Belle stood on the poor tortoise's shell, and begun to bounce on it. “This is so much fun!” She squealed. Scootaloo's jaw dropped to the ground, and Fluttershy bit her hooves. “Sw-Sweetie Belle... Th-that's a...a...a living creature!” Sweetie Belle stopped jumping on the tortoise shell, and held it on her right hoof, “It's alive?” She tried looking into one of he holes, but it was too tiny, and too dark for her to see anything inside. “I can't see anything,” she grumbled. A green head popped out from one of the holes, and Sweetie Belle stared at it for a few seconds, “Oh, would you look at that...” Sweetie Belle whispered. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!” Sweetie Belle ran around the cottage, “Ew! What did I just touch?!” She panicked. “Sweetie Belle...” “That's creepy! That head, it came out of nowhere!” Sweetie Belle stopped on the couch, and off she goes, running around the cottage again. “Uh... Sweetie Belle, could you please calm do—” Sweetie Belle held down Fluttershy's neck, gently of course, “You have no idea how terrified I was,” she looked into Fluttershy's eyes deeply, “I was extremely terrified.” “So terrified, that I could die right on that spot!” “Haha, you don't have to be do over-dramatic,” Scootaloo laughed. Fluttershy walked over to Angel, and she picked the bunny up and placed it on her back. “Hey, you're Duckerplate, am I right?” Sweetie Belle pointed to Fluttershy. “Duckerplate? PFFFTTT!!!” Scootaloo, sitting beside the couch, trying her best to hold in her laughter. Fluttershy looked at Scootaloo, and showed a tiny sad expression. “N-no... It's Fluttershy,” Fluttershy spoke softly. “Plucker tie?” “Fluttershy.” “Feather mine?” “No, it's Futtershy.” “Mutter fly?” Scootaloo smacked Sweetie Belle on the horn, “It's Fluttershy, dumby!” Sweetie Belle rubbed her horn, “That hurts,” she whined. “Oh my, are you okay?” Fluttershy hurried towards Sweetie Belle. “Nah, it's fine,” Sweetie Belle shook her hooves. Fluttershy sighed in relief. “So, what brings you two here?” Fluttershy asked in a gentle voice. Scootaloo pushed Sweetie Belle forward, “Well, Sweetie Belle here wanted to see some cute cuddly animals, so I brought her here,” Scootaloo explained. Sweetie Belle was already being distracted by something else. “Would you look at that fluffy ball of fur?” She ran towards a sleeping dog on the couch, and begun to toss it around in the air, “Hehe! It's so fluffy!” “Ah! Sweetie Belle! That's not a ball of fur...!” Fluttershy panicked, trying to catch the falling dog. The dog was wide awake, and fell onto Fluttershy's hooves. “There you go... Safe and sound,” Fluttershy whispered to the dog, and laid it on the floor. “Sweetie Belle, that's not a good idea,” Scootaloo stared at Sweetie Belle, who was already outside in the backyard, on a stool, trying to get a beehive from a tree. Sweetie Belle ignored Scootaloo's advice, and tried to push the beehive off the tree. “It's sticky,” she touched one of the honey. Fluttershy rushed towards Sweetie Belle, and dragged her back into her cottage, slamming the door. “Please don't touch anything else, if you don't mind,” Fluttershy pleaded. Scootaloo whacked Sweetie Belle's horn again, “Yeah, please.”
