---Twilight Sparkle's house---
"SPIKE!!!" Twilight yelled, as she frantically ran about looking for something. "Uh yes twilight?" Spike asked.
"Where is that book!?!?!! What was it what was it?" Twilight pondered? "How to be a Princess in a Split Second
" Spike read as he held a book in his hand. Twilight immediately levitated it down making spike lose his balance.
"Simmer down sugarcube, your gonna do just fine. Remember what the princess said. You showed all the traits of a princess." Applejack said.
"I guess your right, I'm just so nervous." Twilight said.
"Of course ah am right. Would I ever lie to you?" AJ said reassuringly.
"No, I guess you wouldn't." Twilight said. "Welli guess me and Spike will be off. Come on Spike!"
"See y'all Later!!!!" Aj said
All of a sudden after she left there was a loud crash, and laying on the floor was Rainbow Dash. She immediately got up and said. "Did I miss her, is she gone?"
" Yeah sorry Dash, ya missed her." Aj said
"DAMN!!! Well. I guess that just leaves you and me AJ." Dash said, her voice faltering
"Ya it does." Aj said
Dash hesitated a bit then said, "hey, AJ I've got a day off today and didn't have any other plans so I was wondering, do you wanna hang out today?"
is she, asking me out AJ thought but then said " ya I think ah can make some time in mah schedule to hang"
She then noticed that Dash looked like she had just. Been given a gift straight from Celestia.
"SWEET!!! I mean cool, I'll come to the farm around 4:00 ok?" Dash said still in disbelief that she had gotten so lucky.
"That sounds alright to me." Aj said, suddenly getting a whole mixture of feelings that she couldn't comprehend.
"Ok!!! See you then!!!" She said flying out the window as fast as she could thinking, i gotta get ready, I gotta take a shower, and brush my mane at least once...
---Sweet Apple Acres---
Aj was in her room waiting for Dash, when she heard the sound of a knock on the window she turned around to see a certain cyan pegasus smiling like an idiot. She opened the window and said, "well well well who do we have here? C'mon in Dash."
"Thanks AJ it's getting a little cold out there." Dash said shivering
"C'Mere ah got a nice blanket here for ya." Aj said
"Thanks." Dash said taking the blanket and blushing
"Hey Dash, ah wanted ta ask ya somthin'" she said
"Yeah, sure what is it?" Dash asked
"Well, how come ya wanted ta hang out with me? You've been blushing and overreactin' all day. What's goin on Dash?!?!!"
Aj asked
no no no no no, this can't be happening. I can't get out of this. Aj can see through lies like super pony can see through walls
"Well, to tell you the truth...as you would say, my barn door swings the other way. Except my barn door swings tward you."
Dash said as she prepared to be slapped.
Aj was surprised at first but quickly calmed down and said, "Dash ah thank you fur your honesty. To tell you the truth ah ain't exactly been tellin the entire truth either."
"What?" Dash asked
"Well Ah don't exactly know which way mah barn door swings. Ah've never been with another pony before."
Aj said embarrassed.
"R-really?!?!!!? W-well you know I've um kinda had a crush on you for quite some time now..." Dash said
"Ah said ah've never been with anypony before...ah never said ah didn't wanna try." She said, shuffleing a hoof on the ground trying to not make eye contact.
"YES!!! Wait that was an invatation right, cause if it wasn't an invatation then I don't have to say yes I could just fly away. You know and..." She was then turned around by Aj and kissed passionately.
"Ya, it was an invatation." She said breaking the kiss.
"I uh well that was...AWESOME!!! I've dreamed of kissing you for like forever!!!" Dash said.
Aj chuckled then said "well it was good for me too Dashie"
"So does this mean you are my marefriend?" Dash asked
"Ah guess it does." Aj said blushing
"AWESOME!!!" Dash yelled
"So ah've got the day off, wanna go out?" Aj asked uncertainly
"OF COURSE...I mean yeah that would be cool." Dash said. what has gotten into me all of a sudden? dash asked herself
"Well am pretty sure that ur just excited" Aj answered
omigoshomigoshomigosh did I just say that out loud Dash thought
"Alright we should probably get goin'"
"Uh-yeah"
They then left for their chosen destination...
---Sugarcube Corner---
Pinkie was running back and forth through the corner, every time she passed she was holding another party item.
"Gotta get it ready!"
"Well hey there Pinkie." Aj said as pinkie walked into the other room.
"Hi Aj!!!" Came a voice from behind aj that made her jump and fall down. She turned around only to see Pinkie with that stupid grin on her face. how she does that I will never know Aj thought,
"Whatcha here for, ooo let me guess your here to help with twilights party, not that I need help though, but help would be nice..."
Actually Pinkie were just here to tell you a secret." Dash said
Pinkie made a motion of locking her lips and throwing away the key. "My lips are sealed."
"Alrighty then, me and Dashie are datin'" Aj said
Pinkie looked like she couldn't keep the secret anymore. "Oh my GOSH!!! I need to throw a party!!!"
"Pinkie?"
"Oh right, secret. Then what are you here for?" Pinkie asked
"Well, who better than you to help us plan our first date?"
"Your RIGHT!!! Well first off we will have to make a plan of where it will happen, then..."
