You want to imagine yourself as a regular pony, but sadly you can never do it. Your abilities take you places, places nopony would ever dream of going, and let you live forever.
Your name is Night Music, and you are the last Sound Strider, you have no idea what happened but you plan on living a normal life... well as close to normal as you can get.
You are galloping through your house trying to find it.
"Where is it? Is this it? no, no can't be, what i'm looking for is blue, but this is purple..." You say still galloping through your house trying to find it.
You freeze mid gallop, "AHA, found you, you slippery piece of whoa-" You trip on the mound of stuff you just through on the ground looking for the sound.
"ow..." You say as you rub your muzzle with a hoof.
You look up at the string of sound floating in front of you making sure this one is the correct one, and it is. You can see your reflection in it, you are a Stallion with a Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue mane, pure white coat, and Emerald green eyes with no pupils.
"Ok, do I have everything I need? Yes, yes I do." You say to yourself.
And then as soon as you touch the dark blue string, color erupts from it, swallowing you whole.

You are in a hallway, a long dark blue hallway. Not all sound is like this, it's what you make it out to be, this particular one you chose as a hallway. You are going to see your best friend.
You start to move down the hallway at a comfortable pace, humming a tune you had heard before. You glance at the end of the hall, there's a doorway, a smile creeps onto your face as memories flash through your mind.
You're at the door, just standing there, wondering what today will be like. Not being able to wait you put your hoof up to the door and push it open.
Moonlight floods your eyes, you blink a couple of times trying to get your eyes to adjust. But soon as you do that you get tackled by a dark blue mass
"Night, you're here!" The mass says.
Your eyes finally adjusting, you see a more distinguished figure. Dark blue, horn, wings... it's Luna!

You try to get the Princess of the Night off of you before this becomes even more awkward for you. As you try to get up you realize that she actually isn't pinning you down, so you get up with ease, bringing the Princess up with you.
"Yeah I'm here, you are my best friend after all, is it a crime to come see my friend?" You say with a bit of a chuckle.
"Well under this context it kinda is, but nothing to worry about, since you are a close friend of mine" She says not realizing you were joking.
So here you are in Princess Luna's room, only with Luna. You're cheeks flush red at the those thoughts.
Luna sees your face and asks, "Are you okay? you look a little... oh what's the word? AHA, flustered.
"If I'm going to make speeches than I want to work on my vocabulary." She says with deadpan tone of voice.
She turns back to you and looks like she is searching, searching for a thought of some sort, so you wipe your mind of anything secret or bad and focus on the good. Her face returns to normal and she asks,
"So, what do you have planned for today?"
"Well, what do you want to do? We can do anything you want." You say.
"Uhm, c-can I-" She stutters "Can I see what you see?"
"Well I don't see why not" You answer.
"Yay, this is going to be so much fun!" She says as jumping up and down.
You gran her hoof tight and breathe in deeply focusing your power through your hoof and as you do that a slow, deep humming starts to emanate from the room.
Luna is looking at you, wondering in both excitement and awe to see what you can do and how you do it being an Earth Pony.
As the humming becomes loud enough to vibrate things off the shelves, it stops.
Wondering what you did Luna asks in a disappointed tone, "uhm is that it?"
"Watch this." You say holding a hoof up.
You put your hoof to your mouth and start to breathe a sigh into it, and withdrawing the hoof at the same time.
Luna sees glowing coming from your mouth and positions her head to the side to see what you are doing, and to her amazement your are pulling a multicolored string from your mouth.
You finally get the string out and let go, allowing it to float in between you and Luna.
"eeeeewwww, but cool!" She says with a look like she is going to start giggling.
You chuckle at her child like behavior, even though being only 6 months out of college.
"Ready?" You ask.
All she does is nod.
You raise your hoof to the string and touch it. Color explodes from it and swallows you both whole.

Luna's mouth is agape and her eyes are wide. "Wooooooow, this... is amazing!
You watch her as she runs around this room you had made, in this realm and the other she is magnificent, so... beautiful beyond mortal words that explain beauty.
Luna notices you watching her with half-lidded eyes and walks over to you and says, "Thank you Night, this is amazing, what can I give to you for such a wonderful gift?"
"hm? oh, don't worry about it, being friends with you is a gift by it's self, and it's a gift you grace me with." You say as you snap back to reality, or at least this reality.
Luna blushes at the compliment adding even more beauty than gods could handle.

Time has gone by as you two, sit, talk, play games, and listen to music you had made in your home.
"We should probably get going, if anyone realizes I'm gone, mass chaos will ensue" Luna says with a sad tone, not wanting to leave.
"I swear, someone talking about me." A certain Draconequus says.
As you return to the door to the hallway, you turn around and try to say something but get interrupted by a pair of lips pressing into yours. Shocked, your body tenses up but quickly becomes relaxed and you start to kiss back. You wish this moment could last forever, but to your dismay it ends a minute after. You both are blushing heavily and not looking at each other.
You want to say something but can't find the words so you turn around and walk out the door.
It has been at least three days since you have visited Luna and for good reason. You can't see why anypony would like you let alone have the need to kiss you.
------------------ High School Year
All throughout High school for The magically gifted you have been the weird one at the back of class, just minding your own business. All of your classmates never wanted to see what you are good at, they just thought you were a freak since you were a earth pony in a magic school, even the teachers tried to avoid when possible. And then she came, when you first saw her you couldn't believe your eyes, Princess Luna was now going to your school. She was popular the moment she set hoof in there, most ponies thought she was how did they put it? "The bee's knee's"? Most welcomed her into their cliques others wanted nothing to do with her, wanting a reason why one of the Royal family was going to a school of such low standards, not the lowest, but still below what she should be going to.
The funniest part about this was that she had all of your classes, and never really noticed you. Probably because you were the first one in and the last one out, never getting into any trouble, never getting called on, and never speaking to anyone when you didn't need to.
And that's when it happened, just another regular day at school, you're trotting down the hall to your first class of the day, you get to the class and freeze in the doorway, sitting in her seat is Princess Luna. This is very unnatural for you, always being the first in the class was regular but to have seen someone else in their seat was a shock, and some how the universe thought it would be funny to put your crush right next to you. And oh, was she beautiful, that flowing mane, and those eyes, you could get lost in either of them.
You snap out of your trance and proceed to your usual seat. You sit down next to her, and her perfume assualts you with the most wonderous of smells, Blueberries.
Luna notices you sitting down next to her and remembers that you sit there all the time. She just sits there looking at you, and finally she speaks, "Hi" it's all she says And you respond with a nod and a wave of the hoof.
"I'm Luna" She says offering a hoof.
You hesitate, wondering if something is going to happen, but ultimately you extend your hoof and shake saying, "I'm Night Music" In a quiet manor, not used to talking to ponies.
"How come you never talk to anyone? All these classes you have to have one friend to talk to."
You cringe slightly at the thought of how these ponies treat you. You quickly respond, "no, no friends, no one to talk to."
She notices your face contort into more of a frown, "No one?" She asks.
You shake your head violently and respond, "Not like I would want to be any of these ponies friends."
She's a bit taken back by your statement, "Well why not?"
"Look at me! no pupils, no horn, I'm an earth pony in a School for magic so people see me as a freak somehow, so they are all rude and hateful towards me, even the teachers don't like me" You say in exasperation.
"I don't see anything wrong with you, you look really cool to me." She said smiling.
"I do?" You ask, befuddled while raising an eyebrow.
She giggles a bit at your confusion, "Yes you do."
This was good news, the mare you like thinks you look pretty cool.
"What can you do, by the way? If you mind me asking."
"Maybe later, class is going to start soon." You say happy knowing you had made something close to a friend.

Everyday from then you had talked to her before class had started. You two had become good friends Some times she had offered you to come by her home, but out of nervousness you said you had to do something at home, when all you did really was make music and defend your home from the creatures of the Everfree forest.
One day when you were walking home from school, Luna walks up next to you and you being startled, you scream.
"Geez, I think I went deaf, is that the loudest you can scream?" She says jokingly
"Lu-Luna you almost gave me a heart attack, and no that's not the loudest" You said a bit shaken.
"Wow, and why are you heading towards the Everfree? aren't you heading home?" She asks a bit confused.
"I am heading home, I live in the Everfree Forest. And why are you following me? aren't YOU supposed to be heading home? Back to the castle?" You retorted.
"touché" She says, "But since you never come over to my place I thought I would go over to yours and see what you have been doing." She says with a big smile on her face.
You blush a bit, you have never had anyone to your house, let alone a mare. And Luna sees your blush and says with a sultry tone, "Maybe you can show me what you can do". That does the trick and your face gets even more red than a tomato. Luna laughs at this, "I'm just joking, I'm joking. Man, have you never been talked to by a mare?"
"Ahem" You cough at the statement.
"oh yeah, sorry" She chuckles awkwardly.
Akward moment out the way you two talk some more.

"Well here we are, home sweet home" You say extending a hoof towards your home. It wasn't much from the outside.
"Not bad, feels homey, cozy in a way." She says slanting her head.
"Come on in" You say extending a hoof to Luna
Her eyes get assaulted with Technology and instruments of every size.
"Do you play all of these?!" She asked shocked by how many instruments were around the room.
"Yes, That's why I named myself Night Music after all." You said with a great smirk on your face.
"Wh- wait you named yourself? didn't your parents name you?" She asked.
"Well yes and no, see I have no biological parents, I was born out of sound itself when harmonious music was made, again hence the name 'Night' Music. How can I have a body you ask? Well I do and don't while my body isn't purely solid I'm made up of pure sound creating a structure." Again you smirk but this time out of wittiness.
"Wow, I was going to say that you were 20% cooler since you played all these instruments but now, you're like 100% cooler." She practically shouted.
"Heh, thanks" You say while rubbing the back of your head.
"Can you play me a song? If you don't mind" She asked rubbing her forehoof with a hoof.
So, it's been four days since you have last seen Luna, four days since she... nevermind that, you have to go see her. -----------
"Where is he?" Luna thought aloud, "Where's who Luna?" Celestia said while poking her head into the doorway.
"were you listening to me?" Luna said eyes shooting open.
"Yes, and before you go saying I should mind my own business, we have been worrying about you, you hvae been locked up in your room for three days." Celestia said with a look of worry on her face.
"I'm fine I just need some alone time." Luna said, turning away from Celestia.
"If you need alone time then who are you waiting for? oh, has Luna found a colt-friend?" Celstia said teasing her sister.
"NO, well maybe, I don't know. After I showed him how I feel, he hasn't come back." Luna said lowering her head.
"Then maybe it was never meant to-" Celestia was cut off when a rip opened up before them. --------------
"This hallway is longer than I remember it" You thought aloud.
You are galloping down the hallway you had made for Luna with your powers, sweat trickling down your head, and your eyes they're... flickering?
You finally made it to the door and kick it open with all your might not just opening it, you kicked the door right in half.
You poke your head out and look around you see Luna lightly crying but smiling, and Celestia with the look like she is going to send you to the sun.
You and Celestia have'nt really met before, you only visit Luna.
"Guards! There is an intruder! Come immediately!" Celestia Shouted
"Sister no, this is who I was waiting for, this is my co-colt fr-friend" Luna said stutering while trying to wipe away the tears.
You sit there, you just... sit there, not knowing what to do about this scene before you. You have seen Luna cry before but not because of you, you feel horrible, "I think i'll take that trip to the sun now..." You thought to yourself but get startled by another voice in your head, " Oh, I will gladly send you there" It was Celestia's voice. You raise your head only to be met by the glare of Celestia and the now happy look of Luna.
It was silent, well not to you, you can hear everything even the bouncing of the atoms. But Celestia was the first to break the "Silence" and say, "Ok I want to know everything, no details left out."
"Well as you already know, I'm a good friend of Luna, maybe... a bit more... if she would still let me. We knew each other throughout Magic High school and College and I've had the honor to be her friend and-" You say but get cut off by Celestia, "Magic High school? But you're an earth pony... why did you go to a magic high school?"
"Night here is not really a pony, if my memory serves me right you are pure sound?" Luna said rasing a hoof to her head.
"Not entirely, I am still pony but a special breed, much like an alicorn, my magic is enhanced by magical properties of my parents, which was harmonious music made by ponies."
"Wait, I have heard of this, are you a... a Sound Strider?" Celestia asked with a bit of worry in her voice.
"Yes actually I am, the last one fact, I didn't think anypony still knew about my kind." "Not many do, because you're kind went extinct a very long time ago, it's suprising to find one still alive, how old are you?"
You are cuaght off guard by the statment, "I-I'm just as old as Luna here and why did you say my kind went extinct?"
Luna was sitting there listening in on the conversation, what she didn't know was that Night Music had his own kind of pony. She thought he was just a special Earth Pony.
"You're only old as my dear sister? Well, I did not expect this, and for your kind being extinct, well there has not been a recorded birth of a Sound Strider for over five-hundred years, apperantely you are the first in these five-hundred years. This is a sign, of what I do not know." Celestia said, explaining things to you.
You sat there, deep in thought, "How could I be the only one left? This doesn't make sense." "Hey Celestia?" You said
"Yes?" She asked "Could I get some time with Luna? alone?" You ask still deep in thought.
"Sure" She said, "I'll just leave you two lovebirds alone" She said giving you a wink.
Your face turns the brightest shade of red, at the thought of what you just asked. You look towards Luna, who also has a blush on her face, so... she's thinking the same thing you are, again your face takes a bright shade of red. You both just sit there, silent.
"So, you like me?" You ask.
"What made you think that?" Luna asked most sarcastically.
"Ok, fine then, I guess, I will have to find another mare-friend" You say turning away from Luna.
And in that moment Luna spins you around and your lips lock together, again like last time your body tenses up but relaxes a moment later and you start to kiss back. You both are sitting there, kissing, holding each other when suddenly a sweet melody starts to play out of the blue, (Que Uplifting Smooth Jazz) Luna asks, "Is that you?"
You look at the ground as your face turns bright red and say, "Ya, my body emits a song, when I have a strong emotions, like right now, I'm as happy as I can be"
"You're not the only one who is happy, I'm just glad that I shared my feelings, and you returned them" She said smiling towards you.
"So here you are, sitting here, in Luna's room, sharing a good time while it lasts. Things can't get any better, or can they?" "Hey, inner dialogue, can you keep it down? "Maybe, but the question is, "Can I keep it down?Since I am you." "Fine, can I keep it down?" "Yes, but let me finish" "Fine but make it quick" So here you are, sitting here, in Luna's room, sharing a good time while it lasts. Things can't get any better, or can they? We won't be able to tell, until the next chapter. "Chapter? This isn't a story you know" Oh, If only he knew.

It's been maybe two years since you and Luna started seeing eachother, there has been hardships, Luna has hurt you, you have hurt Luna, but the thing you love to say to her to let her know you forgive her was, "You may hurt me, but I will always forgive you no matter what, but there is one thing I can't forgive you for"
"And what did I do?" Luna would ask.
"You have stolen my heart" You say holding a hoof up to your chest. -------------
You wake up to Celestia's sun shining through the window, "Why can't morning come a little later?" You say with almost a whining tone. You turn over to see Luna, who was still sleeping. "Am I not lucky? to have a mare-friend, but not just any mare, Princess Luna, the ruler of what I love most, well except for her of course. Of course I'm lucky! To have one person like me, maybe even... love me"
"Love, an intense feeling of affection"
"Who said you could speak?"
[i " I did, who else can make me speak? Certainly not you"
This was becoming a problem, the voice in your head, that you cannot control. It was weird too, it's like having someone else in your head, not that you would know what that was like, but now you do. It has been going on for a year now.
Who are you? And don't say that you are me, because that's crazy.
"Crazy you say? How can that be crazy? Why is it so hard to believe that I am you? And besides you know nothing of crazy" The voice said with a soft chuckle.
"If you are me than what am I thinking of now? You probably shouldn't have asked that question to a voice in YOUR head.
Right now you are thinking on how cute Luna looks while sleeping, and now you are thinking that you must be crazy to be hearing me"
"The first part is true but the second is false" You think.
"Well actually you are thinking it now because I thought of it, and I'm you so... ya The voice said holding back luaghter.
"OK ENOUGH WITH YOU SAYING THAT YOU ARE ME! YOU ARE NOT ME! NOW GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" You screamed, shaking the room and waking Luna. And in the back of your head you hear, "If only you knew"
Luna sits up and says in a groggy tone, "Why are you shouting an-" but she gets cut off by what she sees. All she can see is you, and your eyes flickering between colors of red and blue.
You have a look of rage on your face, but you see Luna and your face contorts to a look of sadness, "L-Luna, I-I'm so sorry for waking you, I should have been more quiet"
"What's going on? why were you shouting and who were you shouting at? also, why has my stuff been moved? She asked looking around the room at all of her stuff.
"I don't know how to put it, and besides even if I did know how to explain it to you, you would think I'm crazy" You say lowering your head.
"Oh come on, it can't be that bad... how bad is it?" She asked looking at you with questioning eyes.
"Well, fine, but only because I know you are trying to help..." You pause a moment and take a deep breath.
"I have been hearing a voice in my head for maybe a year now, and it is the one thing in my head that I cannot control, and I don't know why it's there, and not knowing why scares me a little" You say with a little relief, "That felt good to get that off my chest" You say exhaling.
"Well, what does your voice call itself?" Luna asked a little bit jokingly.
"He calls himself me, as in, he is me. But I know that's a lie because he acts almost like the very opposite of me, disorganized, loud, rather blunt, interuptive, he LOVES to make jokes, you could say his a bit Chaotic." You say with a small smile, "It's not like I don't enjoy his company but sometimes It can get a bit bothersome heaing him talk about- things" You say the last few words with a blush on your face.
"And what does he talk about?" Luna asks moving closer to you.
"He talks about... you and... me, mainly. But he talks about other things too" You say, almost struggling to even begin the sentence.
"What does he say? about you and me?" Luna asks with the very beginning of a blush settling on her face.
"Well, he says that, you and me are going to have a foal soon and he says something big will happen. I was questioning him with the foal, probably because I didn't know that our relationship would go this far and-" You get cut off by Luna
"Well, he's not wrong about the foal, I have been meaning to tell you about this but I haven't been able to find the time, you know being a Princess and all..." She said looking away from you.
"Wait we are having a foal? I'M SO HAPPY! wait when did we... you know? You ask lifting an eyebrow.
"Do you remember the night where you got drunk and came home?"
"Yes but not all of it..." You say still with an eye brow raised
"When you got home you, were really out going and romantic and..." Luna says while looking to the cieling slightly shuddering at the last part.
"That's what happened? Why didn't you tell me? and... ho-how w-was I" You say now shaking a little at what might be Luna's response.
"You were amazing and really gentle with me whe-" POOF
A cloud of smoke filled the room,
"What in the name of Celestia happened? *Cough Cough* You say trying not to breathe in the smoke.
"I think we- *Cough* have a visitor" Luna said squinting to try and see a figure move around in the smoke
"Well look what we have here, Princess Luna and me, sitting in a tree"
"Who are you?... AND WHY ARE WE IN A TREE?!" You ask, puzzled by how you and Luna got there.
"Oh, you haven't heard? I'm you, and you are me, and together with Luna, we are as happy as we can be, so I must assure that you two have that foal, and raise her right, for if something goes wrong, I can't exist" The other you said wit a grin on his face.
"Why do you need our foal to exist? and why should we trust you?" Luna asked, staring at the other you.
"Well, I would tell you why I need her but that would spoil future chapters of this story and the readers would be disappointed"
"Why are you saying that, you have saying stuff about this being a story, but this is real" You say with a exhausted tone of voice.
"I just had an idea, name the foal, Vinyl, Vinyl Scratch, very good name if you ask me. Now back to what you call reality. I have to go back, My time in this time has already began to throw time for a loop, and we don't want that now do we? Ok good bye"
"Hey wai-" As Luna tried to speak she got cut off by a flash of light and they were back in her room.
"Well, that was... interesting, what do you think?" You ask looking around then to Luna.
"Well, the name actually sounded nice, but I don't know if we should just stop wondering about him, I mean he seems like a good person, not bad but not good, I think the word would be, neutral" Luna said tapping her chin with a hoof
"Are you actually considering listening to him, we don't know who he is, who he actually is, all we know is that he lives in my head and he is insane" You say trotting around the room.
"Have I ever told you, the definition of insanity?
"You be quiet, and tell me now, who are you?
"Now you. You can call me Ann Marie. But only if you're partial to being flayed alive and having an angry immortal skip rope with your entrails. The voice said with a Trottish accent.
"You be quiet in there, I am at my ends wit with you" You say tapping your head with a hoof.
"Hey can't you read? The sign says, don't tap on glass"
"Why not just see where this takes us ok? he could be a lot of use to us, if he would help us" Luna said talking into your ear with the last part

"Luna, dear sister, you look different, and I can't put my hoof on it" Celestia said squinting towards Luna.
Luna, was now at least three months pregnant, just a little of the pregnancy was now beginning to show.
"That is why I need to talk to you sister... in private if we could" Luna said looking at all of the staff who had an ear turned their way.
"Of course sister, let's go to my room"

"So sister what is it that you need to talk to me about?
"Well, promise me you won't get angry"
"Whatever it is I think I can handle it"
"Sister, you know that I have been seeing Night, right?"
"Yes, I know this"
"And he has been staying over a couple of times"
"Yes, he has been using the front door since I found out about him"
"The thing is..."
"What is it sister? did he harm you?!"
"NO... he wouldn't harm me, the thing I needed to talk to about was..."
"Just tell me sister, what has you this bothered?!"
"Sister, I-I'm pregant"
Silence filled the room, for how long? it seemed like forever to Luna, but Celestia just sat there staring at the wall with wide eyes, when suddenly Night appeared before you with a flash of light from Celestia's horn
"What happened? Where am I? Luna? Cele- Luna why is your sister looking at me like that?"

And here you are, in Celestia's room dodging thrown items from a angry Celestia, while behind her Luna is trying to calm her down but nothing is working, you are jumping of the walls until you get hit in the head with a book and not just any book, a book on Royal Alicorn history, the book hit you on the back of the head and the last thing you see is Luna running towards you.

"oooooww, where am I?" You ask while rubbing the back of your head with a hoof.
"You, are in your head, or 'our' head if you would like to include me" Your other self says with a small grin on his face.
You get up from off the floor of your mind and notice something, you have never been in your own mind before and it looks a little... chaotic.
"Why is it so messy in here?"
"Well, the mess is what you are thinking and thought of, I just don't have the time to sort out this stuff, most of this stuff is junk but some is really important to my future, so I really can't take any chances"
"Can you tell me your real name?"
"Well if you need to know, but don't tell anypony, My name is... Dis-"

"Whoa, now where am I?!"
"YOU GOT MY SISTER PREGNANT! i WILL HAVE 'BOTH' OF YOUR HEADS, NIGHT MUSIC OF THE SOUND STRIDERS!"
"When we left off, Celestia was going to chop off our heads, both of them apparently... do we have to lose our heads? I mean can't you see that she is going to neuter us and then kill us, unless she wants to kill us first and then neuter us, but I don't think that would be satisfactory to her so i'm going to go with the first option and say we are going to get killed afterwards. I hope we just get to say bye to Luna before we go six-feet under, well... you go six-feet under I won't"
"Wait if I die you still get to live?! Now how is that fair? You try to include yourself into everything in my life but you get to live when I die, what happened that, I am you and you are me?"
"Hey it's not my fault that the voice in your head is immortal and aren't you immortal to? You are a Sound Strider after all, you are pure sound with a body, so even if they take your head you will still live on, sure you won't be able to speak or see, or... kiss Luna but you will live"
"Now how is any of that good? I might as well be dead"

Celestia had the guards drag you off from her room and into the dungeon, it was nicer since you last saw it, they cleaned up a bit, you might be a prisoner of the Princess but you still get to be comfortable... wait is that a skeleton in the corner? oh dear creator, you are going to die here.
"Can't we make a deal?" You ask the guard with a chuckle.
"No" is all the guard says.
"Can we at least talk? to make my time here a little less boring?" You say while looking at the guards from behind the bars. There are at least twenty gaurds, hmmm, looks like Celestia buffed up the guard count on you.
The guard sighs and says, "Fine, what do you want to talk about?"
"Well, how is your day going so far?"
"Well not so bad, guarding this place can be boring but there is one bright side to it" the gaurd says with a smile.
"And what is the bright side? if I may ask"
"Well, you came in, didn't you? you are the first prisoner in here since well... the war with the Griffons" The guard says.
"Wow... that long huh? So I'm like your first visitor in ten years?
"Fifteen, if you count the period where everyone was at a standoff" The guard says chuckling a little bit.
"Attention!"
At that moment all of the guards stood up straight and saluted.
"At ease"
"Well well well, look what we have here, General Iron Wing, how have you been old friend?
" I don't believe we have met before"
"Oh no not in this dimension, another one, one that we are good friends in"
"Dimension?"
"oh that's right, we haven't mastered space or time travel yet"
"Be quiet! I'm not even supposed to talk to you, but I came down here to get your side of the story before we execute you"
"Well this looks like a start to a good friendship right here, now what do you want to hear?"
"Spare me your life story and just tell me what you did"
"Well, to put it bluntly I fell in love with Luna and... kind of got her pregnant" you say with a frightened smile across your face.
When you said that, Iron Wing didn't respond all he did was stare, afraid of what he might do you say, "Is everything all right Iron?" You turn to one of the guards and ask, "Did I break him?" When you asked that all the guards started to move towards Iron slowly until... A smile started to creep upon Iron Wing's face.
"I would say, is that all, but I guess that is a big deal Iron Wing said whilst laughing.
The reaction took you off guard and you started to question whether you did break him or not.
"Do you love Luna?
"With all of the noise in the universe" You say with a nod.
"And are you going to help take care of the foal?"
"Well yes because of two reasons... well three, one because I love Luna, two because it would be wrong to turn down the foal I created, and because I must, I want to give my child what I din't have... which was proper parents"
"Well, then I don't see why you are locked up down here, how about I do something for you?"
"What are yo-" You were about to question him until you hear the sound of keys jingling and then unlocking the door.
"This will be the first and only time I will let you out, and if you come back here don't forget to greet me, it does kind of get lonely down here in the barracks"
"Don't worry, I will come to say hi and when I do, you will know it's me"

Suddenly a loud crack sounded off from where you were standing and you were gone.
When you start to see the other opening you hear a deep chuckle from the back of your head.

"Who is there?" Luna asked looking around her room from tear soaked eyes, seeing you she stopped crying and a smile grew on her face.
"It's me Luna" You say smiling at her.
"Oh Night I was so worried, h-how did you get out? She said wiping the remaining tears from her face.
"Well one of Celestia's General's named Iron Wing let me go" You say remembering what he looked like, but that isn't important right now.
"Luna we need to go talk to your sister, I need to tell her something"

Celestia was just sitting there wondering if she had made a mistake for sending the father of her sister's foal to the dungeon to be neutered and then to be executed the next day in public. She might have overreacted, not thinking of her sisters happiness. She was just about to go tell Luna she was going to let Night Music out of the dungeon when suddenly, the two burst through the door with Night saying, "Celestia I have to tell you something"
"I needed to tell you something to but it seems I can save the trip to the dungeon for a later time, wait... how did you get out?
You are again caught off guard, but by Celestia's calmness, didn't she order you to be executed not five hours ago?
"W-well one of your General's named Iron Wing let me out" You say feeling liked you ratted Iron out.
"Funny, I don't recall his name" She said tapping a hoof to her chin.
"Celestia we need to tell you something, I love your sister with all of the atoms in the universe, and I love the foal with all of the light from the stars in the night sky, so I need your help... will you allow me to have your sister, in all the years to come?"
You can't stand being apart from Luna, leaving her is like hearing silence, a feeling of being alone and the emptiness that comes with it.
"Night are you... saying what I think you are saying?" Both Luna and Celestia ask.
"Luna would you make me the happiest Sound Strider in the known reality and marry me? If you say no I would still love you and would still want to father the-" You get tackled to the floor and feel lips lock with yours, oh how you love these moments of pure bliss.
"Oh Nighty, how could I say no? I was wondering when you would ask" Luna says squeezing the air from your lungs.
"Well, this is a joyous occasion, and Night Music, could you forgive me for what I was going to do? My behavior was unacceptable, and Luna could you forgive me? I was not seeing how you felt about this and my anger blinded me" Celestia says holding her head lowered not looking at any of you.
You and Luna look at each other and nod and you say "We can and will, but I need a favor" Luna looks at you when you ask for a favor.
"I can do anything, what do you need?
"At least two weeks along to plan the wedding, I want it to be a surprise" You say looking at both Luna and Celestia.
"Hey me, I am going to need your help too, so get on out here and help me prepare our wedding"
"Oh, you need my help? I don't think you would want my help"
"Of course I want your help, you are going to be my best stallion aren't you?"
All you hear from the back of your mind is what you think is a spit take.
"So what do you say?"

"Me? Are you ok?"
"No one has ever asked me to be there... best stallion, do you really mean it?"
"Come on, would I lie to myself?"

A stallion appeared before you, not the same one you knew about, a different looking one. After seeing this the stallion said,
"Well then, we have better get started, we do only have one and a half weeks left"
"Why do you look different?" You ask looking over the stallion before you.
Last time you saw him he looked exactly like you but now, he has pupils and brown colored eye's, same hair just reverse the colors,same tail color, even the same coat color, and the Cutie mark was different, instead of the three musical notes, it was a Black hand print with a... what looked like a question mark in the middle.
"That can be explained on another time, but for now, we better start" He said poking you with a hoof.
"First we have to find out how to expand an atom"

Wedding Day
"Oh by the Creator, I am so nervous, what if I can't do it, what if something goes wrong? Ok calm down, I just need to keep a level head"
The guests were to arrive any minute now, and the groom was more nervous than a long tailed cat in a room of rocking chairs.
"I need see if the guests are arriving yet" And when you said that you pulled back a curtain and looked out the window you had made, in fact you had made this whole room by expanding and stabilizing an atom so it doesn't continue to move around and so around the entire city of Canterlot could fit in here. When you did finally realize how many ponies were out there you panicked, you didn't realize that Canterlot was bigger than you thought.
"Let me just make a quick adjustment and..." When you did that the whole room shifted and expanded to fit another five-hundred ponies. On the outside it looked like a regular room but on the inside it might have been bigger than the throne room.
"Hello there Night Music" Celestia says sneaking up behind you.
You screamed and then, *CRACK*
"Night? Where did you go?" Celestia asked shocked at what she had seen.
You were gone and in your place, a door way. Celestia wondering what happened opened up the door and saw you... in the corner of your home... crying? And playing a violin,
Somehow there was a piano playing in the background, she shrugged it off and began walking towards you and then she stopped, she noticed the nature of the song, it was so... sad, but why would you play such a mournful song on a most grand occasion? And then she noticed something, you had stopped playing the violin but the music persisted, "How is he doing this? She thought still trying to comprehend why the music was still going.
"Night Music? What is wrong?"
"What if I can't do it? What if I can't be the father I want to be? What if-" You get cut off by Celestia.
" I am sure someone has asked you this before but, do you love my sister?"
"Oh yes, with all of my heart and much more" You say nodding shaking tears from your face.
"And do you love the foal? And will you give her what couldn't be given to you?"
"Yes, so much more, I will give this foal everything I have and couldn't have for I can't let her suffer the way I did"
"Then why are you worried? You and Luna both love each other very much, now then I think people are waiting for you"

The baby was about two months away now.
"Oh what if I can't do it? What if I can't be the mother this foal needs, and what this foal wants? I am a princess after all, what if I can't spend a whole lot of time with her what if-" Luna gets cut off by Celestia coming in the door.
"Sister I can't believe you, you are having doubts about this? about being a wife and a mother?"
"Sister what if-"
"Luna I am going to ask you this, do you love Night?"
"With all the stars in the night sky"
"And will you love this foal?"
"With all the light in the day"
"Then, I see no problem when it comes to you two getting married"
------------ "Well here we are people, in the very room where I am going to get married in and be best stallion, let's hope nothing happens"
"You know what? I am not going to even question your sanity anymore..."
"Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?"
"No but you keep repeating that and you still don't tell me what the meaning is"
"Stop talking to yourself and get your eye's to the front, Luna is walking down the isle"
At that moment, you looked forward and the music began, and as soon as the music began, Luna walked through the door.
You whisper to yourself, "By Celestia, she looks... so beautiful"
As you think that a blush grows on your face and you begin to smile, you look out towards the other people in the pews and you see teary eyed mare's, and... teary eyed stallions? You focus back onto Luna who was only a few hooves away from reaching the altar.
The music stops.
"My dear subjects, we are gathered here today to witness a most wondrous occasion, to witness love take shape. The two ponies before us have offered each other their hoof in marriage, so that they could be together forever, as long as time continues on. Do you, Luna, take Night Music to be your Special Stallion? Until death do you part?"
"Oh yes, I do"
"And do you, Night Music, take Luna to be your Special Mare? Until time ends?"
"Until and then even after time ends"
"Then by my power as ruler of Equestria, I here by pronounce you, Mare and Gentlestallion, you may now kiss the bride"
At that moment everything melts away and you can't think of anything else as both of your lips meet, the moment feels like it could last forever and you would like it to too.
The kiss breaks and you two look at each other while drowning out the crowds cheering, and you think to yourself, "I have a wife, and a foal, how can it get any better?"
Well, here we are, we have come a long way you and I, you reading and judging my story and myself writing it.
Here you are again, galloping around your new home, one that you made more close to Luna so she could enter and exit it as she pleases.
"Oh where is it?!" You are looking for it.
"This seems familiar, don't you agree?"
"No time, I'm looking for something"
"What is it that you are looking for?"
"Vinyl's bib, it has to be around here some where"
"Did you check under the table?"
"Oh here it is, thank you, I have been looking for it everywhere"
Your foal Vinyl was born under a full moon believe it or not, that is when your powers grow the strongest. The birth was not easy but it was not hard either. Her talents did not stem far from yours, at first she was like any other foal except her natural talent for music, that was something that puzzled ponies. Vinyl started playing her first instrument at two years old, her first instrument was the cello, though she had thought classical boring she had a rather strange place for the ponies who played it, she respected them, being able to stay awake through the whole song.
Vinyl, took on a mixture of colors from you and Luna, her eyes were Ruby Red and her coat, like yours was a neon white, she took on mostly Luna's mane's coloring, having a two tone electric blue mane and tail.

"Ok, come here my little Vinyl, come to papa" You say trying to coax Vinyl towards you.
Vinyl notice's and starts trotting towards you, when she reaches you she says, "I Wub you daddy"
"ooohhh, daddy wubs you too" You say picking Vinyl up and putting her on your back.
When she finally succeeds on climbing onto your back you start trotting over to the foal chair. She climbs into the chair and you put the bib onto her.
"Ooook, guess who gets to eat shredded carrots?"
"Do I have to?" Vinyl whines.
"Don't you want to grow up to be strong with your magic?"
"Carrots can hewp me become stronger?" She asks skeptical of how that works.
"Yes, and if you eat enough, you could probably beat me" You say holding a hoof to your chest.
"Reawy? You think I could beat you?"
"Vinyl, you have already won, you are to cute to fight" You say poking her snout.
You turn away as you hear the only door opening, and when you peek your head around the corner you see Luna.
"How was your Night?" You ask her as she trots over to you.
"So many dreams had to be taken care of, so many nightmares had to be handled, all in all, it was a very busy night"
"Just as long as you get to come home and visit Vinyl"
You turn around towards Vinyl who is trying to get a good view of who it is.
"Vinyl guess who it is"
"Is it Auntie Cewestia?" She asks, still trying to get a good view of who it is.
"hmmm, close, but no"
"Oh, I know, is it mommy Wuna?"
At that moment Luna steps around the corner and gives Vinyl a big hug.
"Oh Vinyl, how come every time I see you I can't help but not want to leave?"
"I don't know mama, why?" She ask still wrapped up the in the hug.
"It's probably because you are to cute"
You are just sitting here, watching your Special Mare visit your child for the brief time of day, and you cannot feel any happier, what could go wrong?
Just when you are going to join their conversation you hear a knock on the door and you go to see who it is. It's Iron Wing.
"Well hey Iron Wing, what brings you here?"
"I just got this letter for you, it seems urgent. And how have you been?"
"Oh I have been doing fine, Luna can't get a break though, and Vinyl is just a bundle of energy"
"Sounds like fun, but I have got to go, hope Luna can get a break soon, she deserves it"
"Ok bye Iron, hope things go well for you too" You say shutting the door.
You open the letter and begin to read it,
Dear Night Music,
This is a letter from Canterlot Labs, we are hoping to get a sample of your DNA to observe and test. You can decline, we would not get offended but it would be for the public Populaces best interest to help us. If you accept and are willing to help us, we will make sure that you receive a ride over here.

"Hm? oh, it was Iron Wing with a letter he said it was urgent but I don't see why"
"What's the letter about?" Luna asks moving up next to you to be able to read the letter.
"It's about Canterlot Labs wanting some of my DNA to observe"
"I heard about them, but I have never really visited them, they help the population with their break through's in medicine and technology"
"Well, then I don't see a reason that I shouldn't help the public then, I shall hire a foal sitter tomorrow morning and I will go" ----------
"Isn't this the time where you narrate what I am doing to your "readers"

"Fine be that way, it's nice to have some peace and quiet in my mind"

"Oh, we are here" You say looking up at the building between a a cake store and a couch and quill store.
"Oh, Couches and Quills must be branching out to other places but ponyville"
You look upon the building in front of you, weird, you haven't noticed this place before, it was a grey building with light blue roofing shingles. As you trott up to the front door you get a eary feeling in your spine.

You notice something, when you knocked on the door it opened up a little, so you decide to push the door open and you freeze on the spot right in front of you was a armed military guard wearing armor you have never seen before.
The Rules I Will Bend, But I Will be Faithful to the End
"Yes, I knocked but no one answered, so I just thought I would come in" You say pointing towards the open door with a hoof.
"We have been waiting. Right this way" The Guardspony says raising a hoof the door way behind him.
You walk towards the door and the guard stops you.
"I thought I was allowed in" You say with a mildly annoyed tone.
"You are, but we have to scan you first, make sure you are not an imposter"
"Oh, ok then" You say waiting for the scanning to commence.
"Oook, and we are done"
"Really? But you hardly did anything" You say with a questioning look.
"It's the new technology we have, in the back there, if that light turns red, then you are a threat, but if the light turns green then we know it's you"
"How does it know it's me? You guys need my DNA, that's why i'm here in the first place"
"This doesn't scan DNA, it scans for changelings"
"Oh, well that's cool"
"Ok then, lead the way"
You both start trotting down the hallway towards another door, but this one wasn't like the other one, based on the limit to your power it seems that the door was comprimised of a two-foot thick titanium allow.
"Hey, I thought this place was for medical purposes" You say while shaking at the thought of what they need the door for.
"Oh it is, but sometimes the experiments get out of hand, so we take every precaution, we don't want to release a plague upon Canterlot, that would be disastrous"
"I guess it would be"

After the giant door opens, you take note of your surroundings. Doctors and Scientists were everywhere, even in the air, all writing stuff down, most looking at... you.
"Ok this is getting kind of creepy" You say looking at one of the doctors.
No way they needed just your DNA. You wonder how you are going to get out of this. ----------------
"Ok, this might sting for a little, after that, there should be numbness"

"Ow, hey you lied to me. You said it would only sting a little" You say with a pouting face.
"Hahaha, yes, but if I told you it vould hurt more then vhat you are used to, then you vouldn't stay still"

Doctor Red Medic, was your favorite person in this whole facility so far. He was much like you, wanting to obtain more knowledge but doing it in your own fashion. And his way would be a secret government facility underneath Canterlot.
"Hey, Doctor Red Medic, may I ask you a question?"
"Sure, go right ahead"
"This place doens't make medicine only, doesn't it"
Sigh "No, no it doesn't, and I am only saying this because you are a guest here, and I do not vant you shnooping around and getting into trouble"
"I knew it, what do you guys make?"
"Zhat is somesing I cannot say"
"Does anybody else know about this facility? I mean, I have passed this place hundreds of times, and I have never noticed it"
"Zhat's mainly because of the artificial unicorn magic surrounding this place, it has to be artificial because if ve use real magic, ve vould need a constant casting and other unicorns would be able to detect it" Red Medic said while putting the syringe of your blood into a mailing duct.
"One last question, is my blood going to be used only for Medical purposes, or is it going to be tested on?" You ask raising an eyebrow.
Sigh "I'm sorry but zere are things zat should be best left unsaid"
At that moment two guardsponies came in and pointed what seemed to be an arrow launcher at you.
"Vhat is the meaning of Zis?!" Red Medic shouted.
"Orders are to capture and contain the specimen"
"Zpecimen?! He's is a guest of our labs!"
"We are sorry but orders are orders, and these orders come from the highest rank in here"
You are just sitting here listening to what you are hearing, you are now their prisoner.

As you are being dragged off, you hear Doctor Red shout something, "Zhis iz a atrosity, hey get your hooves off me! Night! Night Music, I will find us a way out"

You are hooked up to a machine, you can only make out what you are hearing.
"Let the cloning commense!"
CLONING?! No this is bad, last time you tried to get cloned your clone went on a rampage back in time and destroyed the castle in the Everfree Forest. You try using you powers to escape your bindings... nothing?, nothing happened. Apperentley they made a different type of magic blocker, one made for you.
As the machine begins the process you feel a sharp pain in your chest, it feels like someone is stabbing you, you feel the blood trickle down your stomach, and at that moment something happens, you black out again. ---------- In your mind
"What is this? What is happening?"
"Oh you are on a roll" The other you chuckles.
"What? What do you mean?"
"Wait and you shall see" -----------
You awaken, wet and on the floor, you hear an alarm blaring, warning you of something. Is it a fire? no, probably not I don't think they would have an alarm for a fire. You open your eyes and see a flashing red light, you immediately wince from the assault of light onto your eyes. You try to open your eyes again but slowly, you still cannot see but you can barely make things out, all of a sudden you hear... moaning? Is someone hurt? you try and scan the room, with what little vision you have. There are ponies, you can make that much out but none of them are doing anything.
You try and get up, but are immediately sent back to the cold, hard, and wet floor. You decide to take a moment and regain your senses and your strength. With your eye sight becoming better you notice something, the color of the floor... it is stained with a dark red, almost the color of the bottom of your mane. Oh dear Celestia did something happen!? With the blood stained floor in mind you look over to the ponies you had tried to see earlier...
"Oh by the creator what have I done!?"
All around the room is what remains of the ponies who held you here. You look at every detail, you have done things you had not thought possible. Over in the corner of the room is a pony with a severed hoof shoved down his throat, the hoof of the leg piercing the back of his neck. and next to him was a pony who had half of another pony shoved right into his...
"Oh, I think I might be sick" You say gagging at the sight of what you had done, but you continue to scan the room.
There, groaning in the middle of the room was... Red!
At the sight of this you use all of your strength to at least crawl towards him.
"Night, iz zhat you?" Cough
"It's me, what happened here?" You asking turning you head around to look at the scene before you both.
"Night, I am zorry for not telling you earlier, but you need to look inside yourself to find the answer in which you are looking for, never forget me Night Music, now the Last of the Sound Striders, with my last breathe, I give you this"
At that moment Red Medic holds his hoof up to your head and everything begins to shake and hum. Everything around the room begins to blur again as you fall back into something that you have not done for years. You begin to fall not into darkness, but into... peace of mind.
Night Music here, I just wanted to apologize for the late chapter, if it is late, honestly, I don't know. But anyways, I am sorry, if I should change the rating please tell me, the last thing I want is for my story to be taken down because of the rating, anyways, hope you enjoy this chapter
"Let the cloning commence!" The General said as the machine began to come to life.
The machine itself was intriquet in design, having to circles spin around the subject and a needle to extract the DNA to clone strapped to the chest of the subject like a vest, with tubes feeding out of it and into a vial.
As the machine was begining to draw blood from the subject something went wrong, the blood stopped flowing, in fact the subect wasn't there at all, he was gone!?
"General, do you know why my people went extinct?"

The General was shaking out of fear, fear of what might happen to him.
"Uhm, no I don't"
"It was because people like you taking us from our homes and testing on us, torturing us, May Celestia give you mercy, for I will show you none, you will know the wrath of a Sound Strider"

"Hey Discord here, let me tell you readers something about Sound Striders and their powers, when using their offensive powers to travel to different locations they are turned into condensed sound and when they reach their destonation, they rapidly expand taking back their origanal form unharmed. That being said let's watch"

At that moment you appeared not next to, but inside the Generals throat, expanding it and popping it like a balloon, sending chunks of pony every where, his head though, went flying into a group of Gaurdsponies, who were watching this whole spectacal.
You sit there, looking towards them, then you ask, "Well who do I kill next? How about... YOU!"

Everyone looked towards the pony in the back who had a limb missing, he screamed and passed out.

A moment later one of the gaurdponies was choking and bleeding to death with a foreleg shoved throught the back of his throat, barely missing his spine. The gaurdpony with the leg sticking out of his mouth began to flail his spear around knicking two of the other gaurds.
Yo how ever obtained a spear from one of the dead gaurds, and snuck up behind one of the scientists, which you then began to slowly shove the spear up into the anal cavity of the scientist, all you could hear while doing this was your own thoughts, "How dare they take me captive, even after I was so willing to come here, oh I shall make them pay, I will make them pay dearly"
The tip of the spear in your hooves was still slowly slicing the walls of the scientists anus, causing blood and shit to seep down the handle of the spear and pool up beneath you. You noticed the pool and threw the spear along with the dead body on top of it. And you start moving over towards the door to the hallways, the door itself is much like the one in the front of the facility, thick and metal, but not even a challenge for you. Using your unlocked powers, you compress the door down to the size of a golf ball, "I Think I will take this with me" You say picking up the ball of metal.
You see a camera following you, you look up at the camera and shout, "WHO EVER THE LEADER OF THIS PLACE IS, I SHALL FIND YOU, I SHALL FIND YOU AND MAKE YOU SUFFER!" During that everything was shaking even the buildings above you started to shake. -------------- Else where
RUMBLE RUMBLE
"Mommy what was that?" Vinyl Scratch asks.
"I don't know, but I have a bad feeling that it isn't over" ------------ Back to you.
A few minutes after you had shouted a door slid open, and out came a stallion with a white mane and tail, brown coat and glasses came out with several other gaurds who looked different than the other ones. And he was holding Doctor Red Medic, with a knife to his throat.
"Stand down or I shall kill your brother" The stallion says, unwavering to the dead corpses behind you.
"Funny, but my kind are all dead, I have no relatives, except my foal"
"What you don't know is that your kind isn't dead like you thought, there are a few left, hiding, unfound. When you met Red here, why do you think you warmed up to him so quickly?"
"I warmed up to him because he was welcoming and kind, unlike most ponies here"
"Like I said before, stand down or I shall kill him"
What if he was your brother? What if the stallion spoke nothing but the truth. You needed to know.

You grab Red.

"Kill them" At this the gaurds around the stallion began to shoot magic at you and red.
Using offensive magic doesn't allow you to carry two passengers very far. You look back at the group of ponies firing magic at you and think, "Come one think think think, how can I get to the leader with out killing all of them... Oh yeah!" As you think, you remember the golf ball sized ball you have.
"I hope this works..." You toss it and focus your powers onto it.
"Director, look out, grenade!" Said one of the gaurds diving into the leader.

The ponies who were closest to the ball were turned into a mist of red, and the ones who were a little bit farth got sliced in half, both halves of their bodies slipping away from each other revealing organs and bones. The Director though, only recieved small bruises, and the soldier who rescued him just a bit more.
Seeing the clearing you start walking towards the two ponies, the gaurd, even though injured gets up and shoots one last blast of magic barely missing you, but... hitting Red in the gut. ---------
RUMBLE RUMBLE
"There it is again mommy" Vinyl says.
"I wonder where your father is, he has been gone a little long of a blood drawing" Luna says looking out the window.
"Done worry mommy Wuna, I'm sure daddy is just doing something"

Red was shot... R-Red w-was shot?, you start to tear up, not knowing if you had a famliy before your life now. You needed to know, but that moment came and went. As soon as you turn around to face the Stallion who killed your half-brother, and kept you captive, you feel something, not anger, not rage, something more, something more... primal.
"You held me captive, tested on me, and killed the only sibling I actually have. I have lived alone for years, been tormented by other ponies and now you, you are a threat to my life, and my families life. You must be erased"
The Director just stood there, unmoving. until he said, "well I don't need you anymore, I already have your DNA, but... you are a danger to the public and so is your foal, so...SIGH we have to get rid of you" At that moment he pulled out a radio and ordered a squad of ponies to move in, where you don't know, but you have an idea.
"In a couple of minutes the world shall be rid of your kind, and they shall be none the wiser"

A moment passed after you had spoken, everything deathly quiet, until... everything started...humming? The subject started to float slowly into the air emitting a blinding light, the whole building was shaking now.
"What are you doing?" You shout trying to be heard over the rumbling. --------- Point of View: You
"What are you doing?" The Director asked.
And not a moment later you reply, ------- Point of View: The Director
The subject heard you, and at this he threw his head up and revealed to you his face.
And he said, "AND NOW YOU SHALL BREATHE YOUR LAST BREATH!" And at this moment, the light intensified, filling the whole room. ---------- Point of View: Luna
Luna was carrying Vinyl on her back when suddenly, a beam of light shot out from one of the buildings ahead of you, rocketing towards the sky, and when it reached the clouds. ------------- Point of View: Nopony
And when the beam reached the clouds, everything stopped, time just... froze. There were ponies who had fast reactions to the blast, they were diving behind anything solid. But as soon as everything stopped, everything began to move very slowly.
Up in the sky the beam was hitting the cloud, condensing inside of it extremely slowly. Everything began to move faster now, almost getting back to normal speed. The ponies that had ducked behind something, began to poke their heads out and looked towards the sky. The beam still hitting the cloud began to get bigger and bigger before,
pop The cloud just popped... that was it? Well that was anti-climacti-
CLAP SCREECH
At that moment, a deafining sound came from the where the cloud was. The sound blasted all the windows in Canterlot and the surrounding areas into non-existant particles. The sound proceded to assault the ears of the ponies around the area, as the ponies were writhing on the ground holding their ears to their heads something began to rise out of the building the beam was coming from, it was a pony, light brown in color.
The pony was rising to where the cloud used to be and as soon as he got there he started to disappear and when that happened a voice from the sky called out, "PONIES OF CANTERLOT, LOOK UPON THIS ONE AND GIVE HIM MERCY, FOR WHERE HE IS GOING THERE SHALL BE NONE!"
When the voice went quiet, so did everything else. The pony was still up in the sky, but he was... somewhere else, he had the look of a ghost and the stare of a thousand miles. ------------ Point of View: The Director
Was he dead? No, this was something else, something worse, much worse. For all he could see was, He started walking towards the odd looking tree when a voice started talking to him, "Who are you? And why are you on my plane of existance? judging by what you are you must have angered someone extremley powerful... a god perhaps?, who was it that you have angered?"
"It was something called a Sound Strider, he went by the name of Night Music" The Director said shaking a bit.
"Aah, I know who you are speaking of, Night Music, he has been here before, although he was stubborn of talking to me, I have taken upon myself to watch and study him and his kind, but him mostly, since it is... difficult to track his kind"
"And who are you?"
"Now you, you can call me Ann Marie" The voice said as it began to laugh.
"It has been a while since I have played with a mere mortal, oh we are going to have some fun!" The Voice said laughing even harder now. ---------- Sometime in your mind
"So that's what happened?" You ask skeptical that anything like that ever happened.
"Yup! all of that was your doing"
"So, who was that when I blacked out, you know during the cloning?"
"Oh, him? he's you, well almost you. He is just like you in almost every way, except your tendency to hate violence, him on the other hoof loves it."
"So, will he be a problem for my family?"
"Oh no, like I said, you two are exactly the same in many ways, your love for your family has been noticed"
"Where is he?"
"Have you really not noticed him before?"
"He has been in here?"
"Yes, ever since you were created, he has been in the back of your mind, trapped in a cage, but since there was a threat to your family, it's like giving the prisoner a key to their cage, and then controll over a missile."
You sit there with the other you, thinking on how to handle this situation. Okay, so there is a murderer in our head that's a downside, but he still loves our family so that's an upside.
"Can we go back?" You ask pointing towards the door.
"Yes, but all you have to do is wake up" ---------------------
You bolt up right, looking around. You don't see your brother any where, all you see are dead gaurds ponies and... a whole in the ceiling going all the way towards outside.
"Ooooh, I am in deep sh-" You think out loud as you get cut off as a group of gaurds surround you, they are the ones that work under Celestia.
As soon as you see them, you see Celestia herself.
"Uhm... hey sis" You say trying to read her face, scared to think what she might do.
"Hello brother, even though Luna may hate me for this I have to do it"
"Night Music, you are here by arrested for destroying a government facility, and assaulting the public, and destroying public property"
The guards pick you up with their magic, before you can even teleport away, they cast a magic blocker on you suppressing every kind of magic you could conjure up. And as you get dragged away you slip into the outside world the door to the now destroyed facility closing behind you.
Even though it may seem that destroying public property may not seem like much, it is a serious crime none the less. And the amount of property destroyed didn't help either. You were sentenced two years to prison, with visitors allowed. The only ponies to come and visit you were, Luna, your foal Vinyl, and Iron Wing. You are half way through your sentence, with only a year left to go, you cannot wait to get out and see what has happened since you were gone.
"Hey Discord, are you there?"
Silence
"I'm coming in"
Still silence consumed your mind.

You see or hear nothing. Your mind is a blank canvas, waiting for an artist to come and bring life to it. It is just a white room filled with nothing but eerie silence.
"Discord, if you are there please let me know, okay? I'm leaving now" -------- Location: Your cell
"What is happening? Discord is gone, I'm in prison, the general pupulation hates me... am I losing my mind?"
"No that ship sailed and sank a long time ago" Discord says.
"Discord! Where have you been?"
"Minor bump in the road, you being in jail, so I had to take care of some things"
"Don't worry, I only have a year left of this place, then I can go back and see my family"
"I heard you get visitors, how is Luna doing?"
"Honestly, I don't know, she hasn't been visiting for a couple months now and I am getting worried" You say with a sigh.
"Oh, so this is when it happens"
"Wait, when what happens? What are you talking about?"
"You might want to ask your step-sister that, but, when you get the news, don't let her know you knew you would hear about this, okay?"
"Fine bu-"
At that moment Celestia walks through the dungeon doors, with Vinyl on her back.
"CELESTIA, what have you done with Luna?" You say pressing your body against the cell bars.
"That's why I am here to tell you what happened, and I hoped you would not raise your voice so I brought little Scratch here" Celestia said looking towards Vinyl.
"Hi, daddy" Vinyl says waving a hoof.
Your mind gets side tracked to Vinyl, she is getting big, soon she should be able to go to school, and start learning about magic. Thinking about your foal you start to smile to yourself looking at no one particular before you train of thought gets interrupted by Celestia.
"Vinyl can you go into the next room? Your father and I need to talk" Celestia says bowing her head to get on eye level with little Scratch.
"Okay, but can I play with the guards?" Vinyl says pointing a hoof towards the now nervous guard.
"Fine but don't get to rough okay?" Celestia says chuckling a bit.
You wave to Vinyl before she leaves the room.
"Okay since you are here, you are going to answer my questions" You say sitting down in the back of the cell.
"Okay, what do you want to know?" She asks sitting down in a chair the previous guard was using.
"I heard Luna went missing, where is she?" You ask getting up from the cold floor.
"You might want to be sitting down for this" She says, and you take that moment to sit back down.
"You remember back when you were tested on? Back at the facility, they found a recording of what had happened, and Luna saw it, she saw everything you and the people in there had done. She was angry with the people who called for the testing and had them thrown out of their position, but there was one person who she couldn't face..."
"Who was it? What did they do?" You say bolting upwards.
"It was me, I'm the one who called the facility to test on you, we needed some of your powers to protect ourselves from the upcoming war of the Griffons and Minotaur's. We needed to take what you had, to harness your essence..."
You couldn't find the words to react, so you just sat there, staring, staring into nothing but your own thoughts.
"Night Music, I know you are angry, but it was for a good cause, it was for the survival of Equestria, you have to understand"
Still you just sat there silent, something in the back of your mind kept nagging you, to take your revenge for harming you, but you wanted to hear more.
"A little after that was when Luna started to stay in her room day in and day out, never left, the only one who entered was Vinyl, and she usually came back out looking down, or crying sometimes, probably to see her mother in such a state" Celestia said tearing up a little bit.
"She became so depressed, even to the point of being unable to even see Vinyl sometimes, then she started having nightmares, being taught the spell to see into another's dreams, I wanted to see what she was thinking, but when I got there there was nothing, nothing but a black void and her, until she started dreaming of something else, the black void would start to swallow her every day, the same dream for months on end, until it swallowed her completely" Celestia was now looking at the floor, her gaze not moving.
"Celestia, what happened to her!?" You say jumping up and grabbing the cell bars, your vision blurry from the tears streaming down your face
"After that, something, happened, she changed, and not long after that, she turned into someone else, someone who called themself N-Nightmare Moon, she wanted the throne, to have the power to get you out, and away from you punishment..."
"Punishment, what punishment!?" You ask startled and worried
"Do you remember the incident?" She asks furrowing her brow.
"Only a little bit, not much, I know that I had a brother there and he died protecting me"
"Well, after that, you had changed, changed into something else, something worse than Death itself, you changed into a Sound Strider at it's full power, well not full power, but something close to that-"
"What was my punishment!?" You ask looking at her.
"There was much more than just damage to property, there were casualties, the ponies that worked there and the ponies in close proximity to the incident"
"So, an eye for an eye then?" You say lowering your head.

"You think you can escape? this cell was especially made and enchanted for you, you are stuck here whether you like it or not" She says with a large smirk.

"Where did he go?! How did he get out, I enchanted that myself!"
The guards just sit there, some staring into pace like they have seen their own demise, others looking at you scared of might become of you in the future.
"We will find him! FIND HIM AT WHATEVER THE COST! JUST BRING HIM TO ME!"
"Yes your highness, we will begins searching at once" The gaurds say leaving the room.
"Good, once we find him we will have his powers" Celestia says before her horn glows green and she leaves the room.
