A young man around the age of nineteen named Eric Reitzell some how ends up in Equestria but has no idea on how he got there. He then meets the main six and others and later they end up traveling to a whole butch of other worlds so he can find his.
This story is about a young man named Eric Reitzell who is try to find his place in the world and what he is suppose to do with his life. One day he wakes up in a field with no recollection of how he got their. He soon meet a group of pones who all decide to become his friends rather quickly. Soon enough there end up being more and more questions to who he really meaning that the past of himself could all have been a lie. After a while of deciding he sets off on a journey to find out more about himself leaving his new friends behind at least that what he thinks. Yet again by some mysterious force he continues to go from one world to the next find more and more answers to each of his questions.
This story was just something that sort of just popped in my head so I thought I'd give it a try since I've never really typed anything like this before and posted it for others to see. Anyway just to let you know a little bit about those other worlds or rather dimensions if you would prefer to call them that. They won't probably appear right away but they will be made up of different Anime, Cartoons, maybe some real life shows for example like Full House or Touched by an Angle you know show with real people. There will also be probable some movie although I not really sure what kind, for me though I like Action, Syfy, and Horror. Lastly I will include dimensions similar to real life stuff and places. So just leave me a comment if you have any ideas on places you would like to see them go and if I haven't seen or heard of it I'll do my best to look it up. Anyway sorry for leaving such a Long description I just wanted to be thorough with explaining whats to come and stuff like.
Oka Okay first off let me just say I have no idea what is going on I mean one minute at least I think it was a minute or maybe it was more like an hour or so, you know what never mind were starting to get off topic here let me just start over. Okay like I was saying I have absolutely no idea what is going on. I mean one minute second or whatever it was I was just sitting on my couch in my apartment you know just messing around probably not doing anything important then I literally blink my eyes and somehow I end up in an open field. I look around for any sign of life or anything for that matter but nothing so I decide to get up and that's when I realize something, I had my computer right in front of me and now its suddenly gone. That's when I notice that there is something in my pocket will actually theirs two thing. The first is my cell phone with my head phones attached and the second was a folded up piece of paper. I unfolded it to see what it said but what it said kind of confused me a little or actually to be a bit more honest it confused me a lot. All it said was " I hope you like my gifts ". I started to think gifts what gifts and who even wrote this anyway because it was way to neat to be my handwriting so I ended up just stuffing it back down in to my pocket. Suddenly I heard my stomach growl which got me thinking that I didn't get to really eat that much before I ended up where ever I am so I started to walk in what I amused was north which got me thinking again on what some people say when you assume thing.
" grrr WHY DO I KEEP GETTING DISTRACTED AND OFF TOPIC " I yelled out loud. Wait a minute did I just growl like some kind of animal for a second there. There I go again getting detracted again, you know what I give up, anyway wasn't I trying to find something to eat. As I was walking I looked in each direction to see if I could see anything that looked edible although I just now remembered something that could be a very big problem when it comes to eating and food, I am an extremely picky eater even if I were to starve it would take a whole lot to get me to try something I never have before. As I was walk further and further some apple trees soon came into view which I thought was lucky since apples are one of the only fruits I've ever eaten before. As I approached the trees I was now close enough to be able to tell how tall they were. They weren't as tall as I thought they'd be but still they were pretty tall so I did have to stand on my tip toes when reaching for one. I finally got but then yet another realization hit me how was I going peal it or whatever it is you do with apples. I then decided to just see if I could dig my fingernail into it which had little to no effect it ended up only leaving a small indent of where I had tried to peal it, take the skin off, or whatever it is. I finally just said " forget it " and decided to just bit into, it actually wasn't that bad and the flavor was actually more sweet than any other apple I had ever tasted. After finishing that I decided to start walking again but all I could see this time was a bunch of apple trees. I then heard a noise not too far away at least I didn't think it was that far away if I could hear it. For some strange reason as I got closer to the noise I was getting really anxious and nervous so I approached the noise more slowly. I finally could see something in the distance so I started to pick up the pace but then I came to an immediate halt because I was finally close enough to be able to see what was making that noise. It was a pony wearing a hat but not just any pony wearing a hat it was Applejack, oops sorry did I for get to mention that in the world or rather other dimension there's this show called My little pony Friendship is magic and Applejack here is was of the main characters. I should probably mention stuff like this first from now on and I'll explain why I watch the show later on anyway back to the topic at hand. Once I came out of my shocked state I immediately hid behind one of the apple trees so as to not alarm her of my presence. I was there for who knows how long and it didn't seem like she was going to quit apple bucking any time soon so I pulled out my phone and headphones then proceeded to look threw the list of songs I had eventually I decided to just start from the beginning of the list. I was on maybe my fifth song when something seemed to be nudging me. I just ignored it the first few times until it nearly pushed me all the way over so I immediately turned my head to see what it was. It was Applejack. just great I thought to myself kind off half sarcastic half really meaning it. We just stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity until she finally started to speak and I took out my head phones.
"Pardon me but I was just wandering what were ya doing here laying under this here apple tree and also if ya don't mind me asking what are ya?"
I started to think of what to tell her but apparently I was taking too long because her next question was.
"Can you even speak or understand me?"
This time I didn't take as long and replied with a simple "yeah" then I decided on what to say next. "and as for your previous questions I just decided to lay here for a bit until you left because I didn't want to spook ya none since you probably haven't seen anything quite like me before and as for your second question My species called humans"
She seemed to be satisfied with my answer because all she did was nod in understanding. The next thing she asked me was where did I come from?
All I could tell her was a place called Albemarle NC although I already knew she wouldn't know where that was since it didn't exist here. After any other questions she might of had were answered I got up off the ground but then quickly realized that both of my legs had fell asleep which caused me to tumble forward a little. Luckily for me Applejack noticed and got in front of me to prevent me from falling back to the ground.
"Thanks" I said
"No problem" was her response
She then asked me if I would like to meet some friends of hers. I immediately said yes to but at the same time trying to keep my composure. We then started to leave the orchard once my legs had woken up and then a question popped in my head which I immediately decided to ask.
"Hey Applejack I was wondering something"
"What is it sugar-cube"
"Well I was just wondering why don't you seem to be apprehensive or afraid of me"
"Now why in the wide world of Equestria would I be afraid of ya"
"well just because I'm some unknown creature that you've never seen nor heard of before and" she then cut me off.
"Now you listen hear those aren't no good reasons to be afraid of something and besides who said I'd never heard of yer kind before"
I stared at her blankly until a realization came to mind Equestria Girls. But to make sure I didn't let her know anything about the show or movie I decided to ask her what she meant. she explain everything about Twilight and how her crown got stolen and stuff which wasn't really any surprise but I tried my best to at least act like I was. We seemed to be talking so long that I didn't realize that we were nearing the outskirts of ponyville until we were about a few feet away.
"So I recon we go see Twilight first since she's the only one of us to ever see a human before"
"Sounds like a plan to me lead the way"
As we made our way through the streets of ponyville I got several odd stairs but It didn't really surprise me that I did. I suggested to Applejack that maybe we try and take some sort of back way or something so we wouldn't get as much attention but she said was
"this was the fastest way there is and I wouldn't pay too much attention to the stairs your getting because there probably more curious then scared of ya"
I just sighed in defeat and said fine. A few minutes later and were in front of Twilight's place which looked much bigger then on TV. I then herd Applejack's voice which snapped me out of my amazement.
"So ya ready, oh shoot I forgot to ask ya for yer name"
"Oh sorry I probably should have mentioned it first anyway my names Eric Reitzell but you can just call me Eric"
"Well Eric it's a real pleasure to meet ya"
"Likewise Applejack"
"Anyhay ya ready to meet Twilight"
"As ready as I'll ever be"
"Alright lets go"
she then proceeded to open the door which I still have no idea how they do that except for unicorns that is. Anyway she opened the door and walked inside with me close behind.
As we entered Twilight's home I noticed that there wasn't much light coming in which kind of made it hard to see so I decided to pull open one of the nearby curtains just to let enough light in so I could see. When I did all I could see was mountain of books piled everywhere.
"Hey Applejack why does this place look like a mess"
"Who knows, I reckon Twilight could've been up late studying again and probably got a bit carried away"
"If you say so but this mess seems like a lot of trouble to create just for studying"
"Yeah she does tend to go the extra mile when it comes to leaning and such, anyhay I think maybe we should started looking for her"
"Alright"
We started to search the first floor but there was no sign of her so Applejack suggested we split up.
"How about ya check up stairs while I check the basement"
"Alright, I'll call for you if I find her"
I then headed up the stairs. When I got to the top and opened the door I saw that it was just as bad as down stairs. I then proceeded to look for her but still no sign of her. As I was just about to head back down stairs I heard a faint moaning sound, I turned around to see what the source of the noise was but there was nothing there. I thought that It was probably my mind playing tricks on me so I started to head to the stairs again but yet again I heard it so this time instead of just turning around I started to walk around to see if I could find the source of the noise. As I was looking around I saw a Pile of books move out of the corner of my eye. I was a little apprehensive at approaching the pile mostly due to the fact that I had seen way to many syfy and horror move but still I let my curiosity get the better of me.
"Hello is anyone or rather anypony there" I called out. At first there was no response so I just assumed that maybe the book just collapsed by themselves so I turned back around and started to walk in another direction. But as soon as I did I felt something was watching me so I slowly turned around. Once I did I saw these two very big bloodshot eyes staring directly at me from underneath the pile of books I had just walked away from. Immediately I screamed and fell to the floor. Whatever it was must have ended up being startled by my scream because almost immediately its shot strait up out of the books sending them flying in all directions including at me. I tried the best I could to dodge the books that were sent flying my way but unfortunately for me I wasn't quite good enough as one of the books smacked me right in the face. It didn't knock me out or anything like that but it did leave me holding my face and laying on the floor for nearly three minutes. Once the pain started to ease up I lifted my head and tried to see what just happened but before I could the door slammed open.
"Hey Eric are ya alright I heard ya holler "she then looked at my face and noticed the huge red mark. "Eric what happened to your face"
I rubbed my face few time "I got hit in the face with a book"
"And how exactly did that happen"
It then all came back to me and I looked back over to where the pile of books were. It was twilight, she was standing there kind of in a daze and looking confused. It was then that Applejack ran over to her friend to check on her.
"Twilight are ya all right"
Twilight shook her head a few time to try and snap herself out of her daze. "Yeah I'm fine just give me a minute" she then raised her head and looked over in my direction "Uh Applejack I think I might of been asleep for to long"
Applejack was about to ask her what she meant when It suddenly dawned on her. "Oh if you're talking about Eric over there he real" she then motioned for me to come over.
I walked over to her reached out my hand, she hesitated for a minute but she finally put her hoof in my hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you Princess Twilight" I then noticed that Applejack had a puzzled look on her face.
"How did ya know she was a princess"
"Wait a minute didn't you tell him"
Applejack scratched her head with her head for a second before replying "No I don't think I did" they then turned to look at me.
I started to sweat a little and i started to think to myself "grate I haven't even been hear a full day and already I've screwed up". I thought and thought an till finally something came to me I just hoped this excuse would work.
"It's just that see that you look different then every other pony meaning that you have both a horn and wings I figured that you must have been special and you being a princess was the first thing that popped into my head"
I waited for a response as both of them seemed to be thinking it over. Finally they told me what they thought of my explanation.
"I see will I suppose that makes sense"
"Yeah I recon it does"
I gave a heavy sigh of relief and then regained my compose so as not to look as nervous anymore. I then decided to properly introduce myself.
"Like I was saying before it's a pleasure to meet you Princess Twilight my name is Eric Reitzell"
"It's nice to meet you to but you don't have to call me princess"
"Are you sure"
She just smiled and said "Yes I am since seeing as you're not from around here, you can just call me Twilight Sparkle or even just Twilight"
"Well okay if your sure anyway what do we do now"
"hmm well I suppose that we can introduce you to the rest of our friends what do you think Applejack"
"I sounds like a good idea to me"
"Alright it's settled then Applejack If you don't mind do you think you could gather the rest of our friends and bring them here"
"Sure thing Twi"
Applejack then said that she would be back soon as she ran out the door.
While it was just me and Twilight I deiced to ask her something.
"Hey Twilight"
"Yeah"
"I was just wondering what were you doing under those books if you don't mind answering that is"
"Well um that is I was kind of doing some extra studying on some princess stuff and it took me all night to find the exact book I was looking for so I was kind exhausted" a slight blush of what I could only guess was embarrassment appeared on her face. "I was so excited that I had finally found the book that I was looking for that I decided to start reading it right away and well I kind of wasn't watching were I was going and in my exhausted state combined with me not paying attention I walked right into one of the book shelves. That's when the book fell off the shelve and on to me, of course I wasn't that hurt just a little confused and then with me being so tired I sort of just passed out right there"
I just stood there for a minute to make sure that I understood her story correctly. I then walked up to her and placed my hand on her head which kind of took her by surprise.
"You know you really should be more careful you know"
she kind of just stared at me unsure of what to say next when finally she said "Uh thinks I'll be sure to". We then headed for the stairs which led down to the first floor so we could wait on every one to get here.
As we were walking I had noticed that I hadn't seen spike around so I decided to ask.
"Hey Twilight where's Spike at"
She then stopped walking and turned to look at me with yet another confused look on her face. Right then I knew that I had just screwed up yet again.
I was trying to keep calm on the outside but on the inside I was in full blown panic mode trying to think of ever possible was to get out of this. I mean I could tell her Applejack told me about him but that would probably only delay the inevitable because I'm sure that she would end up asking her about it to verify what I told her. Of course I might be able to tell her that I saw some pictures of him when I first got here but the only problem with that is how would I have known his name because I know for a fact that I didn't see it anywhere. O come on theirs just got to be some way out of this I Kept thinking while deep down I knew that I was trap. I tried to read Twilight face to see if I could guess what she was thinking but all it showed was confusion so I'm guessing she was trying to figure out how I knew about Spike, she probably even thought that Applejack told me but like I was thinking I'm sure she would have asked her. Finally I just gave up I knew that none of the excuses that I came up with would work so I was going to have to do the only possible thing I could do which was tell her the truth.
"Um hey Twilight mind if I tell you something"
"Okay what is it and does it have anything to do with how you know Spike"
"Yeah"
"Okay then tell me"
"I will but first do you think we could go find a place to sit down and also I want to make sure that no one else is around"
She stared at me for what seemed an eternity when finally she nodded her head and led me down the stairs. We looked around and out the windows and door to make sure no was around or coming this way. She then locked the door and closed the curtains just in case we then found a good spot on the floor and we proceeded to talk.
"Okay let's try this again how do you know about spike and also I'm not sure about this but was that stuff about how you knew I was a princess true or not because I'm starting to have my doubts" she said in a stern and serious tone.
O great I haven't even been here a full day and already I think I've ticked somepony off.
"well um it's kind of a long story to you think we have the time"
"Yes I do it will probably take AJ a little over an hour to get everyone together and bring them back here"
I sighed heavily before replying "Alight here it goes but let me just say this you probably won't believe me"
"don't be so sure"
"Okay let's see where do I begin hmm o I know Twilight you've been to a human world before right"
"Yes that's right now how did you know that"
This time I actually had two answers I could give her. "Well one of the reasons I know that is because Applejack told me"
"Okay I'll ask her when she, hey wait a minute did you just say one of the reasons"
"Yeah I did the second reason ties in with all of the other stuff about how I knew spike and the real reason I knew you were a princess"
"I knew there was another reason"
"Yes yes you were right now let's move on and get this over with before anypony else shows up"
"Okay so what is it"
"Okay so here it is and I'm just gonna say it point blank, this world is a TV show"
"What"
"like I said this worlds a TV show well at least in my world it is"
"That's-That's impossible"
"See I told you that you wouldn't believe me"
"Now hold on I said that it was impossible I never said anything about not believing you but first I would like to see or hear some kind of proof"
"All right I think I can do that, how about this I tell you some of the first details about what happened when you first arrived here in ponyville and also some of the other things I know about you"
"Alright then that sound fair enough let's hear them then"
"Okay here it goes, the first thing is the reason you were sent to Ponyville it was to supervise for the Summer Sun Celebration Oh and before forget to mention it you were sent from Canterlot by your mentor Princess Celestia"
She just stood there not even moving an inch I was guessing that It was from those little tidbits of information I just told her and now she was possibly trying to think of how I could know all that. She finally spoke after several minutes.
"Alright then that helped prove your claim a little but it's still very hard to believe do you have any other proof maybe something more visual"
I thought for a minute than it came to me, my phone I think I still had some pictures on there that I used for wallpaper and stuff also if I got any kind of signal here which I wasn't so sure of I could possibly access YouTube or something and show her some videos.
"Alright hold on a sec let me check" I took my phone out of my pocket and then went to check my photos luckily for me I had some but there was a part of this that was kind of embarrassing and that was that most of them were of her which sort of stand to reason because she was my favorite pony from the show from the main six that is. I let out a deep breath and said "Alright here" I held out my phone which she took with her magic she then proceeded to look over the images on it. I waited and waited but still no reply I mean I know I had more than a few Pictures but I didn't think I had that many. Finally she said something.
"Eric"
"Y-Y-Yes" I finally managed to get out.
"I would like you to explain to me why you have more pictures of me then the others"
I nearly passed out from her question, out of all the questions she could have asked it happened to be that one.
"Well um I ah I'm not really sure how to answer that"
"Well if you don't mind could you at least try" her tone from earlier had completely changed.
Her tone from earlier had completely changed but I was too embarrassed to look at her directly but out of the corner of my eye when I finally did decide to glance at her, I'm not really sure how to put it but if I had to sum it up in to one word it would be hopeful almost as if knew what my response could possibly be. It took me awhile but I got up enough courage to at least say something.
"Well um I kind of you know just possibly think you're a little bit cute and pretty for a pony that is and also you really smart and stuff"
I waited for her to say something that ether meant "I'm flattered but" or maybe "I don't think so" but her actual response I did not see coming. I didn't even see her coming but now all of a sudden her front hooves were warped around me. I literally spaced out for nearly a minute and almost blacked out but I was able to prevent that.
"Thank you Thank you" was all she was saying while shedding some tears.
"What do you mean"
She finally decided to let go of me and wiped away some of her tears with her hoof, She then began to speak. "well you see it's just that no pony that i know of thinks of me in that way and I don't know I guess when you said those words I just couldn't stop myself" A slight blush appeared on her face "I hope you don't hate me for it"
Hate her how could she possibly even think that. I then did the only thing I could possibly think to do and that was to hug her right back. I think her reaction to my hug was just as similar as mine was to hers which got a slight chuckle out of me which she noticed then she started to laugh a little. After I let go of her and we both stopped laughing we just stared at each other before we tried to continue talking I was first.
"Okay so what now"
"Well um I was just wondering do you maybe already have a special somepony"
"Special somepony? Oh! You mean a girlfriend, no I don't actually I've never had one before" this seemed to get a big smile on her face.
"um why do you ask"
"Well I was just thinking that maybe if you would want to that is that maybe we could go out sometime"
"Are you serious I mean you're not just kidding around are you"
"I'm Serious"
My mind was racing at a thousand miles a minute, I could hardly believe that this was happening so just to be sure I wasn't dreaming I did what they say to do and that is to pinch yourself.
"Ouch" okay ether I have a really low tolerance for pain or I pinched my way to hard because that really hurt.
"Trying to see if you were dreaming huh"
I nodded
She chuckled and said "Believe me I don't think ether one of us is dreaming"
"Alright but are you sure you would want do date someone like me I mean were not even the same species and we've just met not to mention" I was suddenly cut off by a pair of lips and although it only lasted a minute it felt like it lasted a lot longer. I was speechless at first but then snapped out of it, huh so that what kissing a girl you like feels like even if she is a pony it felt kind of nice.
She then spoke "Sorry I just really wanted you to know how I feel and that I'm serious about this"
I was speechless yet again until another thought crossed my mind.
"What about all of that stuff I said earlier about this world be a cartoon and stuff"
"Oh that, I believe you"
"Wait what
"I said I believe"
"Just like that"
"What do you mean just like that, you clearly gave me enough evidence to prove that you were right"
"I know but" I was cut off for the second or third time today.
"know buts" she said with a serious tone and a slightly raised voice which made me flinch a little. "Can't you just trust me I mean were both clearly feeling the same and I really like you" she was now doing her best to hold back her tears.
I just couldn't stand to see her like that so I gave her another hug which helped her calm down a little "Alright if you're absolutely 100% sure then okay but let's just keep this and that stuff I told you about the show a secret at least for now Okay"
"Okay"
We hug one more time and were about to kiss again too but there was a sudden knock at the door which made us both jump. We then both got up and Twilight headed for the door while I stood there thinking about how could so much happen in just one day.
Twilight unlocked and opened the door, there stood Applejack and behind her was Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash. Applejack then spoke "hey there Twi I'm back and I brought everypony back with me just like ya wanted".
"Thanks Applejack" twilight moved to the side to let her friends in but before they stepped in Applejack asked her a question.
"Hey Twi why was the door locked?"
Twilight froze at the question and she started to sweat just a little "O-Oh that it was um It was" she stared to look around the room to see if there was anything that could help her ether answer the question or get out of answering it. Finally her eyes fell upon me. "ERIC" she then walked over to me and used her magic to carry me over to the rest of the main six and proceeded to introduce us to see if that would help Applejack forget her question. "Hey Applejack don't you think we should go ahead and introduce Eric to everpony.
"Oh yeah I reckon that would be a good idea"
Twilight sighed in relief "Good then let's get started". She then began to introduce me to each of them one by one, she started on the left which was Pinkie Pie and before I could say anything she began to talk.
"HithereI'mPinkiePieandyournamesEricrightApplejacktoldusallaboutyoushesaidthatyoursomthingcalledahumanandthatyouwerelostorsomthinglikethatanywaywhatdoyouliketodoforfundoyoulikepartysandcupcakesheythatgivesmeanideaseeyoulater" and just like that she was gone.
"Huh well that was interesting" was all I could say I'm not even sure I caught all of what she said. Twilight then decided that it was best if we just moved on and to not worry too much about Pinkie for now The next pony she introduced me to was Rarity.
"Hello there darling it is a pleasure to meet you" she bowed her head lightly towards me and as a sigh of respect I did the same. She then proceeded to look me over at what I could only imagining was my clothes. "Um please don't find this rude of me darling but why does your attire look like you have been rolling around in the grass and then decided to take a bath in the mud with your clothes still on". Huh what does she mean I thought, It was then that I decided to take a good look at what I was wearing and for the first time I noticed that my clothes especially my white t-shirt were absolutely filthy.
"When did that happen" I said while scratching the top of my head "I've been walking around nearly all day like this which leads me to believe now that everypony that saw me walking through town on my way here must think I'm ether a slob, hobo, or some kind of wild animal that doesn't know good hygiene"
"Don't worry about it sugar cube well sort out all of the small details later right now we need to focus on getting the introductions out of the way" said Applejack
"She's right darling it is no big deal" suddenly Rarity's eye got really and a big bright smile appeared on her face, she then screamed out "I'VE GOT IT". We all just sat there baffled by the outburst which she quickly realized which caused a slight blush to appear on her face. She then cleared her throat and began to speak again. "What I mean is that how about create you a new outfit" I just sat there not entirely sure of what to say to that but then I decided to at least say something.
"Um thanks for the offer and all but just to let you know I probably don't have any means to pay you for it"
"Oh forget about payment for the moment just think of it as a welcome to Equestria gift"
Seriously, I mean I've read fanfics about how generous she was but still "Um no offense but I haven't even known you for a day Miss. Rarity I hardly think that I could accept such a" suddenly I was interrupted by Rainbow Dash.
"Come on already dude just accept her gift and move on, besides I think it's high time you meet the most awesome flier in Equestria"
That's Rainbow Dash for you always has the confidence to speak her mind, Who knows maybe that's why she was always my second favorite out of the bunch I thought to myself. "Alright alright I guess I give in at least for now but one day I'll pay ya back for it"
She just chuckled lightly a bit "That fine anyway how about I take your measurements tomorrow then If you're not busy that is".
I just laughed a little as well since I obviously knew I wasn't busy being new here and all. "Alright sounds good to me how does somewhere around lunch time sound maybe between 11am and 2pm"
"That sounds just fine darling"
I then nodded my head and shuck her hoof as a sign of understanding, It was after that that I noticed that Rainbow Dash was starting to get a little impatient. "I think it's best if I just move on before she decides not to like me because I'm too slow" Pointing at Rainbow.
Again Rarity laughed " Agreed"
I then made my way over to her and held out my hand "It's nice to meet you Miss..." I tried to play it off as to make them think I obviously didn't know her name, I didn't need any more screw-ups and them asking more questions as to how I already knew her name unless they just assumed Twilight told me".
"It's Rainbow Dash o and by the way you don't have to add miss to that just Rainbow Dash or even just Rainbow or Dash is fine"
"Um alright" I should have known "Anyway like I was saying It's nice to meet you Rainbow Dash"
"Nice to meet you to kid"
Did she just call me a kid how old does she think I am. Wait a minute if I didn't notice how messy my clothes were until now who knows what else I didn't notice. Suddenly a feeling of dread washed over me and I was afraid to ask what I was about to. "T-Twilight you wouldn't happen to have a mirror anywhere around here would you"
Twilight had a puzzled look on her face "Sure I do but why do you need one"
"I just wanted to check something real quick" another feeling of dread washed over me "You know what never mind I'll just check it out later"
"Um okay" she said
I then turned my attention back to Rainbow Dash "Anyway Rainbow Dash like I said it's very nice meet you and maybe we could hang out some time if that's alright with you"
"Sure thing"
After that I was down to the last pony that I had to meet Fluttershy. I knew that I had better calm down and to try and not think about my earlier thoughts about the mirror and stuff I didn't want to freak her out or scare her any more then she probably already was.
"Hi there my names Eric what's yours"
"its fluttershy" she was hiding only a little bit behind her mane and she was only speaking slightly quiet not as much as I thought she would have. Another thing I noticed was she at least wasn't stuttering when she spoke to me which was a good thing.
"Fluttershy huh, that's a pretty name" she blushed at my comment, I was just trying to break the ice with her I hope I didn't take it too far just by saying she had a pretty name.
"T-Thanks um y-your n-name is n-nice to"
Just great now I'm making her stutter although it is kind of cute. Almost Immediately as if on Que I noticed that Twilight was glaring at me as if she had just read my mind. I flashed her an apologetic smile which she closed her eyes and nodded her head at as if to say fine just don't do it again. I sigh in relief at avoiding yet another disaster and then decided that it was time I moved things forward. "Alright now that I've met every pony Now what" it was then that Twilight spoke up.
"well I think the next step is to find a place for you to stay which I suggest is here"
Every other pony gave Twilight some confused looks and then Applejack was the first to speak up. "And why is that Twi"
"Well it's just that um I um I think it's a good idea that's all"
"Darling you have to give us a better answer then that"
"That right"
As they talked amongst themselves I knew that real reason Twilight wanted me to stay here and I was trying to figure out a way to help her convince them that it was for the best that I stay here when it suddenly came to me "Hey girls I think I know why Twilight wants me to stay here" suddenly all eyes were on me including Twilight's which were filled with worry. she was probably thinking I was going to tell them all about me and her already but I just gave her a warm smile as a means to tell her not to worry about it I know what I'm doing. "First off I'll just go down the line and tell each of you why she probably doesn't think it is a good idea for me to stay with any of you" I took a took a long hard breath and then began to speak. I started with Applejack "Applejack the reason she probably doesn't think it's a good idea for me to stay with you is that it's getting kind of late and she probably is thinking I should get to bed immediately since I've had a busy first day here and it's kind of a long walk back to the farm I don't even know if I could make it." She seemed to be thinking my answer over and then finally sighed in defeat
"Alright fine"
Next up was Rainbow Dash which I figured that my explanation for her wouldn't take that long and I was pretty sure that it was already clear to everypony. "Hey Rainbow if you don't mind me asking where do you live" I decided to see if she could put two and two together and also I didn't want any of them to know besides Twilight that I already knew a lot about them including the fact that Rainbow Dash lived in a giant house made of cloud.
"Hm oh I live near a place called cloudsdale In a house made of" she then got a face of realization as it appeared to have finally dawned on her. "Ohhh, yeah your probably right"
The third was Rarity "The reason for me not being able to stay with you is that you seem pretty busy with your work and stuff I mean since you offered to make me some new clothes and all it led me to believe that you might design clothes for a living which of course Twilight already knew she just didn't want me to be in your way.
"Darling you didn't have to worry about being in my way"
"I know that but still I think it's for the best that I stay here just in case"
"Alright if you're absolutely sure"
"I am" after that I moved on to fluttershy. "Fluttershy the reason I can't stay with you is similar to the reason I can't stay with Rarity, you see Twilight told me a little bit about all of you while we were waiting" both me and Twilight Knew that was a lie but I had to continue. "You see she told me about how you take care of all of the animals and that a lot of them even live with you It's probably just too crowded"
"I-I understand" she said with a look of disappointment in her eyes which really hurt me to see but at the moment there was nothing that I could do.
"And finally I'll explain the reason for me not being able to stay with Pinkie Pie and that's simply because she's not even here although I'm sure she would love to have me as a house guests she's not here at the moment to invite me and I'm not entirely sure why" The group just looked between each other and smiled.
"You don't need to worry about that it's just that she's really busy is all" Twilight said.
"Yeah she's right anyway I'm thinking that we all understand you reasons for not staying with any of us except for Twi right girls"
"Right" they all said in unison
"Anyway I think it's best that we all get going come on eveypony" Applejack then motioned them out the door.
"It was a pleasure meeting you and don't forget to stop by tomorrow so that I can measure you for your new clothes"
"Don't worry I won't
"See ya later kid" there she goes with the kid stuff again, seriously when I get the chance I'm going to look in a mirror. "Maybe will get the chance to hang out some tomorrow"
"Sure"
"It was nice to meet you Eric"
"It was nice to meet you to Fluttershy"
"Well I'll be seeing you tomorrow then"
"Alright, hey also Applejack if you don't mine if you see Pinkie tell her that it was nice to meet her for that short time and that hopefully I'll see her tomorrow"
Applejack just laughed a little "Don't worry I have a feeling you'll see her tomorrow but anyway I'll be sure to tell her"
"Thanks"
"No problem" she said as she made her way out the door closing it behind her.
Now it was just me and Twilight alone which brought back a thought "Hey Twilight you never did answer my question about spike."
"Oh yeah he's just in Canterlot for a shot time he should be back in a couple of days"
"Oh okay Um anyway were am I suppose to sleep tonight"
"In my bed with me where did you think you would sleep"
"Wait what"
"Oh come on it's not that big a deal when you really think about it I mean we are together after all"
"I know that but still don't you think it's a bit soon to be sleeping in the same bed"
"Nope and besides it not like well be doing anything at least not tonight"
I just sighed in defeat know that I wasn't getting anywhere and also because I was just too tired to care at the moment. "Fine lets go then" we then made are way up the stairs once we got to the top of them we both head for her or rather for the moment are bed. I then asked her what side of the bed she wanted which she replied that it didn't matter so she ended up getting in on the left side.
"Hey Twilight where's your bathroom"
"It's just down the hall to the right"
"Alright thanks"
I went down the hall and I easily found it I then took care of business and next I washed my hands. As I was doing that I look into the mirror that was in the bathroom and at first I was speechless but then I finally said something to myself of course. "Is Is that me" to me it looked like I was maybe 10 give or take a couple of years how did this even happen. Wait a minute I just realized that every pony has been taller than me this entire time and I never even thought much of it. You know what just forget it I too tired to deal with this tonight, maybe that it I'm just to tired. Anyway I'll find out in the morning. I then went down the hall back to Twilight's room and climbed into bed. As I laid there thinking about what I had just seen in the mirror Twilight draped her hoof over me and proceeded to hold me tightly.
"I love you" she said
"I love you too"
With those words it helped calm my mind and I was finally able to go to sleep.
I started to wake up but my eyes were still closed so I just laid for what seemed like hours. Before I opened my eyes I started to think that the events that transpired yesterday were all a dream but then I finally decided to open my eyes somewhat slowly and at first to my surprise I wasn't in my room, I was in, wait seriously that wasn't a dream either that or I'm still dreaming because from what I can tell this is Twilight room, oh well I'll figure it out for myself sooner or later.
I slowly got out of bed when I realized Twilight wasn't there so my first thought was to check my phone which was still in my pocket. The time it had on it was 8:34 so I thought that maybe she was downstairs ether eating breakfast, reading, or whatever else it is she would do this early.
I made my way down the stairs, calling her name on the way down. "Twilight are you down their" there wasn't any reply so when I finally got to the end of the stairs I called her name yet again just in case she didn't hear me while looking around at the same time to see if I could see her she was nowhere to be found.
The next thought that accrued to me was to check the basement or whatever it was where she kept that science equipment stuff that I saw in one of the episodes. When I finally found it I looked around for any sign of her but yet again nothing. "Where the heck is she I mean I seriously doubt she would have gone anywhere this early" I said to myself while heading back to the first floor.
I decided to have a seat while thinking about what to do next. I finally decided to check outside to see if I could see anypony nearby. I opened the door to look but there was no pony nearby so I decide to leave and see if I could find Twilight and if I could not I would see if I could find any of the others I had met the previous night.
As I walked down the street I kept getting this eerie feeling that I was being watched but I just figured that it was just me being paranoid so I just decided that it was best if I just forgot about it. The more I walked the more I got suspicious of why there wasn't anypony out here I was sure there would be at least some out here this early. I wanted to maybe call out to see if anyone would answer but for some reason decided against it, it was probably due to the fact to me being new around here or something like that. "Walking through town takes longer then I realized huh maybe I just didn't realize it last time because I had Applejack to talk too" I said yet again to myself.
I soon noticed Sugarcube Corner I mean who could miss a building like that, so I decided to walk over to it to see if Pinkie Pie was there and to see if she had seen Twilight. I walked through the door but for some reason it was kind of dark inside but not really dark enough for me not to be able to see so I looked around no pony around including Pinkie Pie. Maybe she's up in her room was my first thought so I decided to climb the stairs hoping I wasn't intruding. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be to find her room at least after checking a few of the other rooms first but I managed to find it. I knocked first to see if she was there or if she would at least answer but she didn't so I slowly opened the door. I scanned the room to see if she was there but all I could see was a bunch of balloons and other sort of party decorations the only thing I didn't see which I thought I would have was her pet alligator Gummy. Hmm maybe she took it with her somewhere although I have no idea where she would take him with her this early.
I decided to leave Sugarcube Corner and continue to walk down the street with absolutely no idea where I was heading all the while thinking about where every pony was. I kept getting that same feeling of being watched but this time I decided to look around to see if I could see anything but there was nothing there so I kept walking while constantly looking around to see if anyone, pony, or thing was watching me.
Finally I came across another familiar looking building, it was Rarity's Boutique. I approached it then knocked but just like at Sugarcube Corner there was no reply so I just walked in. Once I did the first thing I noticed was how everything was so neat and clean looking compared to how the library and Pinkie's room looked. I called out her name "Hey Rarity are you here" but just like everywhere else there was no reply. I searched the premises starting with the first floor then making my way to the second. I searched every room I came across but still no sign of her and I was starting to get worried. "Okay where is everypony at".
I just sighed as I knew I wasn't going to get an answer so I left. Once I did I made my way further down the road thinking about heading to Sweet Apple Acres next if I could remember the way. While walk I kept thing about why I kept feeling like I was being watched and where was everypony at, come to think about it there wasn't even any wild animals like birds for example anywhere to be seen ether which to me just made this all the more creepy. I was thinking that I was almost there when suddenly there was a light breeze out of nowhere which I don't know why I it caught me off guard or why I even cared but I stopped in my tracks. There was some sort of scent in the air I couldn't really place what it was but for some reason it smelled familiar. I tried to continue walking down the path but for some reason whatever that smell was it seemed to stop me from going any further so I decided it would be for the best if I could find out what it was and where it was coming from that was I could continue to look for my friends.
I went off the path to see if I could immediately tell where it was coming from and at first I thought I could but it then seemed to become fainter as to make sure I would not be able to find. I searched for nearly half an hour trying my best not to stray too far from the path but no matter how hard I search I couldn't find it.
I was just about to give up and continue on my way to the farm when something else strange caught my eye. It was a tree and I know what most people would be thinking right now it's a tree big deal move on already but the only thing that was different about the tree I was looking at was, well how do I put this it was kind just glowing yep I guess that about sums it up it was glowing. Also another strange thing about it was the color of the leaves, They seemed to be some sort of transparent blue and what I mean by that is that you could sort of see though them but you could still tell that it was a kind of blue color kind of like water. Anyway I continued to stare at it almost to the point of getting mesmerize by it when suddenly I hear a faint laugh which although I wasn't sure right away it sound feminine. I began to look around almost immediately but I didn't anyone or anypony I then heard it again but this time I could tell where it was coming from it was right behind me right where the tree was.
I turned around to look at the tree but this time the tree wasn't the only thing there. The was a woman and not a female pony or rather a mare but a human woman. Her skin was a pale white color and her hair was silver almost looking like silk. The next thing I noticed about her was her eyes, they were two different colors one was red similar to the shade blood was and the other look like it was a gold color like something I had seen in an anime once. She wasn't really wearing anything that unusual all she had on was a pair of blue Jeans, an extremely low cut sleeveless shirt almost revealing herself, some silver high heels that were the same color as her hair, a gold bracelet which had a ruby embedded into it, and lastly a pair of sky blue earrings that were shaped like diamonds from playing cards. As I continued to stare at her unable to speak she chuckled and decided to say something first.
"Are you just going to stair all day or maybe perhaps you would like to make a move instead"
This immediately snapped me out of it as I tried to find the right words to say. She just leaned against the tree waiting patiently with a smirk on her face. Finally something came out "W-Who are you and where did you come from"
She just smiled with her eyes half closed sort of in a seductive manner and started to approach me while speaking. "The first question you asked doesn't really matter but if your still curious you can just call me V and as for the second question" she had finally got right in front which made me notice that she was at least 3 to 5 inches taller than me. she bent down just a little so she could look at me eye to eye while placing her right hand on the side of my face. "Let's just say I'm from Europe for now"
I was about to speak when what happened next completely threw me off guard. She kissed me right on the lips no warning or nothing she just did it. I tried to pull away knowing that I already had Twilight but I found that I was unable to although I didn't know why. When she finally released the kiss I immediately pushed her away and backed away a few feet.
She just licked her lips and continued to smile "Your lips tasted much sweeter then I remembered" she then started to approach me yet again.
I thought to myself okay one of two things is going to happen right now ether I'm going to run for it and try to hide or something or this insane woman is going to try and rape me have her way with me whatever it is you want to call it. I then tried to speak while stuttering a little "U-Um e-excuse me b-but I hate to t-tell you T-this but I'm a-already t-taken and I've got to go bye." I to turn and run but then she said something that made my blood run cold stopping me in my tracks.
"O do you mean Miss. Twilight sparkle I wouldn't worry about that I take care of her soon enough and then it will be just you and I"
I turn around to try and voice a response when suddenly she was right in front of me again, I still tried to speak but couldn't. Suddenly my body started to get cold and there was a sharp pain in my stomach. I then started to get dizzy and almost pass out but before I hit the ground she caught me and slowly keeled on the ground. Once she did I looked down to see if I could tell what was causing the pain in my stomach which I immediately could. There was a sword sticking out of me and not just any sword it was a katana which was a Japanese styled sword. My eyes suddenly went wide with fear but at the same time were getting heavy as if I were falling asleep.
While this was happening she was speaking to me "don't you worry my love everything will be all right you just rest now and well be together soon" was her last words before the world around me faded to black and the last thing I thought was.
My eyes suddenly shot open not really sure as to what had just happened. It took me a few minutes to come to my senses and realize I was in Twilight's bed just like before. I slowly stood up but immediately regretted it because for some reason my body especially around my mid section felt a sharp pain go through it. I thought that maybe it was just because of the way I was sleeping last night and them the memories of what had happened came back to me. But seeing that I was in Twilight's bed I figured that it had all been just a dream but just to be sure I decided to call out to Twilight since I had just now notice that she was not beside me just like before. "Hey Twilight are you downstairs" I called, I then heard what I assumed was foot or rather hoof-steps. The door creaked open Just enough to reveal the purple alicorn.
"Hey there sleepy head" was all she said with a smile and droopy looking eyes that told me she hadn't been up that long ether.
I sighed in relief at seeing that she was still here. "Hey" I said I then slowly started to get out of the bed and get on my feet but when I did my vision started to get blurry and I started to lose my balance. But just when I was about to hit the floor something caught me and at first I didn't know what it was until my vision cleared up a little and I noticed this purple glow around me. Twilight then ran over to me.
"Eric are you alright!" she said in a panicked tone.
She was now close enough for me to prop myself up on and once I did the magic around me disappeared. My head then cleared up enough for me to speak "yeah, I mean at least I think so."
"What do you mean you think so?"
"I'm not really sure, maybe I just got up to fast"
Twilight had a look on her face that made me think that she didn't entirely believe me but she seem to let it slide. "well alright if your sure but please try and be more careful"
I just smiled at how much she actually cared for me even though we had only known each other for about a day. "Don't worry Twilight I will." I then stopped leaning on her once I thought I could stand by myself. We walked out of the bed room and down the stairs to the main room of the house where she already had breakfast ready. Before I came down stairs I wasn't too sure as to what I would be eating for breakfast since I knew that some of what pony's and humans ate were completely different but once I saw that it was just some waffles breakfast was one thing off my mind. The next thing that came to mind was that I probably needed a shower before I did anything else today. "Hey twilight do you mind if I take a shower real quick."
"Of course you can, the bathroom is right down that hallway third door on your left" she pointed with her hoof.
"Thanks" I then walked down the hallway to take a shower. Once I was in their I turned on the water, took off my clothes, and got into the shower. After that I got out and started to dry off when I then decided to glance over at the mirror and that is when something caught my eyes. I was far enough away from the mirror to see most of my body and around the stomach area there was a fairly good sized scar. I looked at it for a few more minutes trying to figure out how it got there when suddenly my eyes got big at the memories from the dream I had last night. I shook my head thinking that's not even possible and tried to block the thought from my mind. I decided to finally get dressed after I finished drying off, I then left the bathroom with my thoughts still on that scar. I walked back into the main room of the house and saw Twilight over near a desk with her back to me. I walked towards her to see what she was up to "Hey Twilight what are you doing?" She immediately jumped a little when I spoke as if she was not expecting me to be done with my shower already.
She then turned around "E-Eric that was a quick shower"
"yeah it didn't take as long as I thought it would" I then noticed that she was acting kind of nervous and strange. "Is something wrong"
"N-No n-n-nothing's wrong it's just that I am um I haven't been feeling that good since I woke up and I um didn't get that much sleep"
I then became a little worried thinking that it could have been my fault. "Was it because you had an extra person in your bed that you didn't get enough sleep" I looked at the ground as I said this.
She was quick to response "No no it definitely had nothing to do with that, actually I think having you there helped me fall asleep much faster."
"Oh alright if you say so" I figured that if she said that it didn't have anything to do with me then I would just drop the subject for now. "Hey twilight maybe since you're not feeling that well you should go rest"
"I would but I've sort of got things I need to do"
"I really think you should take it easy, I know how about I do what you need" before I could even finish my sentence she cut me off.
"NO" she then cleared her throat "I mean you can't do what I have to because it um it has to do with magic and stuff like that and besides don't you have to go see Rarity today so she can make you some new clothes"
"Oh right I almost forgot, what time do you think she will want me to go over there"
"Maybe around lunch time but you better go now just to be sure"
"Why do I get the feeling you want me to leave"
" I have no idea what you're talking about" she said as she kept glancing back and forth between a clock on the wall and me.
"Alright alright I get it I'll leave but I'll be back as soon as Rarity's done with whatever she needs me for" a thought then occurred to me. I wonder what my new clothing size will be, I mean with the sudden decrease in age and all. "Oh well"
"Oh well what" Twilight said with a confused look on her face.
"Never mind anyway I'll see you later" I said as I was walking to the door.
"Alright see you later"
I then walked out the door closing it behind me.
On my way to Rarity's I was many ponies going about their day, some I recognized some I didn't. When they finally took notice of me all they did was stair at me not really in a scared sort of way more like they were curious, some of them even waved at me which I found strange but good that they at least were starting to warm up to me so quickly so I waved back.
I had finally arrived at Carousel Boutique which didn't take as long as I thought it would. I proceeded to enter which made the bell above the door ring I then heard someone or rather some pony yell from another room.
"I'll be with you in just a moment" I heard Rarity say from another room.
I just stood there and waited. After a few minutes Rarity walked into the room. "sorry to keep you waiting I was just" she then noticed who it was. "Oh Eric it's you I so glad you were able to stop by although I wasn't expecting it to be this early."
"Well Twilight said around lunch time so I figured around noon or so would be a good enough time"
"Of course it is darling let me just get everything ready and then we can get started" she then proceeded to grab a few things with her magic including some measuring tape, several colors of fabric, and some scissors. She then motioned me to follow her, so I did.
We went into what I believe was her work room where she usually made all of her clothes. The Next thing I knew she started to immediately take my measurement which made me remember to ask her what they were when she was finished. It didn't take that long to take them so immediately when she was finished I asked her.
"Hey Rarity what were my measurements just now"
"Your height is 51 inches and you seem to weigh around 77 pounds"
If I was my normal looking age that probably would have been considered underweight and stuff but considering the circumstances I guess that height and weight might be normal for a 10 year old looking human. either way I replied with "Alright."
"Why don't you go and make yourself at home while I work on your outfits"
"Outfits as in more than one?"
"Yes of course more than one, I mean you can't possibly expect me to let you wear the same one or two outfits everyday while you are here"
"You really don't have to worry about it"
" But I do, we are friends after all are we not"
My mind kept processing that word every time it was used involving me. Not that I minded them calling or even considering me one it's just that I wasn't used to being call that.
"Eric are you alright" she asked.
"Hmm oh a yeah I'm fine I must of just space out for a moment"
"Alright if you say so, anyway like I was saying we are friends after all so just think of this as a gift from one friend to another"
I knew I wasn't going to win this argument so I just nodded my head.
"Oh and by the way there are some questions I need to ask you before I get started"
"Okay what are they?"
"First off what is your favorite color?"
"Green"
"Alright next is do you prefer something more casual or formal for now?"
"How many outfits are you planning on making me?"
"Around ten or so"
"Really are you sure"
"Yes I am now back to the question"
"Alright alright I suppose if you're going to make that many you can make a couple of them formal and the rest casual."
"Alright and now for my final question, do you want any accessories to go with any of you new outfits such as a hat scarf's or such"
"I leave that up to you since you know more about fashion then I do"
"Okay then I think that is everything I needed to know so why don't you make yourself at home while I make them"
"Um alright"
When she went to make my new clothes I decided to take a look around her place just to see how it looked in real life compared to a cartoon. I pretty much looked the same except it was more detailed then the cartoon could make it looked. When I was done looking around I went to her kitchen to have a seat and although she said I could make myself at home I didn't want to mess with anything so I just sat there thinking to myself mostly about my dream and the scar I found this morning. I couldn't figure it out I mean I wanted wholeheartedly to believe it was just a dream and meant nothing but something inside of me wanted to accept it as reality. Then there was that woman, for some reason she seemed familiar but I really didn't know why. As I thought more and more about it my head stared to hurt almost as if my mind was trying to prevent me from remembering something I had forgotten so I stopped think about it at least for now. As I did so I heard some hoof steps coming towards the kitchen.
"Eric darling are you in here" she said as she walked into the kitchen she then spotted me. "Oh there you are, I just wanted to let you know that I finished at least one of your outfits and I wanted to know if you would like to try it on"
"Sure" I said somewhat exited and a little bit nervous at the same time and the only reason I was a bit nervous was because I knew that some of her designs sometimes included gems imbedded within then and I wasn't so sure how I would feel about that. But I wouldn't want to hurt her feeling so I probably wouldn't tell her If I didn't like it. Anyway we arrived in her work room and immediately I noticed something in the middle of the room with a tarp over it, Rarity then approached it and used her magic to pull the tarp off.
"Voila" she said and then looked in my direction for approval.
I stared at it for a moment trying to take it all in. The first thing I noticed was that there were no gems which was lucky for me. Then I took in its color and shape, it was a shade of light green which reminded me of spring and its shape sort of reminded me of some anime or something a cosplayer would wear which I didn't mind at all since I liked all different kinds of animes and I've always wanted to try cosplaying but never had the chance. Anyway back to its design it was sort of lengthy and by that I mean its sleeves seemed kind of long but just right at the same time also at the end of each sleeve the colors were different it was black at the end. Next was the middle of it, it had buttons in the middle of with which started to make me think that it was formal attire. Then the back was longer then the front kind of like a cape. It also had a hood attached to it which I thought was a nice touch. Below the shirt was a pair of regular pants same color as the shirt and some shoes as well. She then levitated a pair of earrings over to me.
"I'm sorry to ask this very odd question but do some boys in your world wear jewelry such as earrings"
"Yes why"
"Well I suddenly got the idea that these would go perfect with your new attire but I was unsure of if you would like the idea or not"
"there nothing wrong with it it's just that" I paused for a moment.
"It's just that what?"
I took a deep breath and then continued to speak. "It's just that I've always been sort of afraid to get any earring put in because I know that for some of them to be put in it requires a needle and I really don't like needles" I said in a quiet voice and looking away from her at the same time. Sudden my head was brought back up with a hoof to look at her.
"There is no reason to be ashamed of being afraid dear I mean everypony or in your case everyone is afraid of something."
I just looked at her not really sure of what to say next but then she spoke again.
"How about this I use my magic to numb your ears so you won't feel as much pain"
I just looked at her in disbelief and amazement at the same time. "Wait a minute you can really do that"
"Of course I can, you didn't think you were the only one who was afraid of needles I've had countless ponies come in here wanting earrings put in but were to afraid of the needle I had to use so finally I decided to learn some magic which would help me numb the pain so they would be more comfortable.
"That's amazing"
"It's nothing really, now how do you feel about me putting these earrings in to go along with your outfit"
I paused for a moment but decided to say "yes."
It didn't hurt just like she said it wouldn't although having them in my ears was going to take time to get use to. After they were in I got the rest of my new clothes on and went to a mirror to see how I looked in them, I thought I looked pretty good in them and Rarity said so too.
"So Rarity how long will it be till the rest of my new clothes are done"
"I'd say that it will probably take the rest of the day"
"Oh okay I'll see you tomorrow then"
"W-Wait what do you mean w-where are you going"
"Back to Twilight's"
"YOU CAN'T" she screamed as she ran to the door blocking it.
"What do you mean" I said as I looked at her curiously.
"I-It's j-just that" she paused for a moment and then began to look around the room frantically suddenly it seemed like something caught her eye as she rushed over to a nearby window. She then proceeded to yell out to another pony "RAINBOW DASH WOULD YOU BE A DEAR AND COME DOWN HERE PLEASE" all of a sudden there she was right in front of the window as soon as soon as Rarity finished calling out to her.
"Yeah what is it Rarity" Rainbow said she then looked behind Rarity and saw me. "Oh hey kid what are you doing here"
"Nothing much it's just that Rarity was making me some new clothes one of which I'm wearing now" I said as I turned slightly to show her my new outfit including the earrings.
"Cool" was all she said.
" Now I'm planning on heading back to Twilight's and" I was then cut off.
"You can't" Rarity said as she then looked back at Rainbow Dash. She then pulled her flying friend down closer to her and proceeded to whisper something in her ear. Suddenly Rainbows head perked up and she looked at me.
"Yeah that's right you can't"
"Why" I said tilting my head a little.
"That's because you're gonna come flying with me"
"Wait WHAT" I screamed as I slowly backed away.
"What's wrong kid"
"Yes darling what is it"
I swallowed deeply and then spoke "Hey Rarity do you remember when I told you that I was scared of needles."
"Yes why"
"Let's just say that not the only thing I'm afraid of"
"Don't tell me your afraid to fly" Rainbow said.
"N-No it's not that it's just that" I paused.
"spit it out already"
I sighed "I afraid of heights okay"
"Is that all"
"What do you mean is that all"
"Well it's just that it's not like your gonna fall or anything"
"and how would you know"
"That simple, That's because the one and only Rainbow Dash will be right there with you and even if you did fall I'd be right there to catch ya, I mean were friends after all right."
I just stared at her, It was that word again then word friends. As I was thinking a blue hoof suddenly came into my field of vision and was waving back and forth in front of my face, I then looked at her.
"Are you alright you kind of spaced out there for a moment"
"Um yeah anyway what were we talking about?"
"Going for a flight around Ponyville"
"Oh Yeah that" I said as I looked to the ground. "I not really sure"
"Oh come on I promise you'll be safe and also it'll be supper fun"
"Really"
"Yeah so what do ya say"
A part of me was still hesitant but another part of me really wanted to try it. I thought about it for a few more seconds and then said "Okay."
"Really" Rainbow said excitedly
"Yes really"
" Alright then let's go" she said as she walked outside
"Um alright then I guess I'll see you later Rarity"
"Alright darling stop by anytime, oh any the rest of your outfits should be ready by tomorrow"
"Are you sure that's enough time I don't want you to rush making them for me"
"Oh don't worry about it"
"Okay if your sure"
"I am, now you better get going you don't want to keep Rainbow Dash waiting"
"Oh yeah that's right" I said as I ran for the door. "Bye Rarity
"Goodbye Eric"
I then closed the door.
As I got outside I saw Rainbow Dash taping one of her hoofs impatiently.
"What took you so long"
"Oh nothing I was just talking with Rarity"
Alright anyway if you're ready to go then hop on"
I just stared at for a second and then asked her "Are you sure I mean I'm not too worried about me being to heavy or you not being strong enough it just that" I paused for a moment before deciding to finish "I just didn't think actually think I'd be riding on your back" I finished saying as turned my head away from her with a slight blush on my face since Rainbow was my second favorite from the show although she didn't know anything about the show and I'm pretty sure I only told Twilight that she was my favorite. anyway Rainbow started to say something which snapped me out of my thought.
"So what's the big deal"
I sighed in defeat "You know what never mind" I then approached her as she keeled down for me to get on. One I was on and had both my arms wrapped around her neck not to tightly of course we then began to ascend. She didn't take off to quickly probably just to make sure I wouldn't fall off but she did start to accelerate the higher we got. I kept my eyes closed since we first left the ground just because I knew that if I looked down for even a second It probably wouldn't end well. While I still had my eyes closed Rainbow Dash began to speak.
"Hey Eric are you gonna keep your eyes closed the entire time where up here or are you gonna take a look at this amazing view"
Just great that's just great , now that she was saying there was an amazing view I was really tempted to open my eyes and have a look for myself but still I refused. She then continued to pester me to open my eyes.
"Come on you can do it at least just a small peak if you don't you'll miss a great view of canterlot from here"
Even though I knew what canterlot was I tried to act ignorant about it. "What that?" I asked.
"It's this awesome big city where a lot of rich ponies live and also the princesses of Equestria live there, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna"
The way she talked about the city did make me want to have a quick look but still I wasn't sure. Finally after a few more minutes of asking me to open my eyes over and over again I knew she wasn't she wasn't gonna stop and also we probably leave where ever we were sooner if I just at least opened my eyes once. I sighed heavily and said in a rather annoyed tone " Fine if it will make you happy" I then slowly opened one of my eyes and then the other. The first thing I noticed was that the sun was already starting to go down. huh I didn't realize it was that late I thought. The next thing I saw was that she was standing on some clouds, no wonder she didn't get tired from all the flying I thought she was doing while we were up here. Just like she was saying I could see canterlot from where we were and even though it was somewhat far away it still looked amazing.
"Finally I thought we were gonna be up here forever"
"Yeah yeah whatever I'm still not fond of heights"
"Like I said before you don't have to worry I would never let one of my friend fall"
I sigh "Yeah whatever you say, anyway that city over there really does look amazing"
"I told you it was awesome anyway I think it almost time"
"Almost time for what?"
"you'll see" she said as we made our way back down to the ground.
we finally made it to solid ground and I sighed a heave sigh of relief. It was then that I noticed we were on the edge of Ponyville. "Okay what now"
"Like I said you'll see" she said as she made her way through town.
"Hey wait don't you want me to get off of you first"
"No it's alright"
"Okay if you say so"
We then continued to make our way through town making small talk about nothing really important and then before I knew it we were right in front of Twilight place.
I was about to open the door when all of a sudden Rainbow stopped me.
"Hold on"
"What is it"
"Um it's just that I need to um...check on something real quick inside stay right here for just a minute.
"Alright if you say so just don't take too long because it almost dark out here"
"Is some pony afraid of the dark" she said in a teasing tone.
"N-No it just that, you know what never mind just hurry up and also I'm a person not a pony"
"Person Pony same difference"
I just sighed as she walked in closing the door behind her.
I waited for at least a good three minutes just pacing and thinking of what could be taking so long. I then decide to go see when finally somepony came out, it was twilight.
"Hey Eric"
"Hey Twilight where's Rainbow"
"Oh um she's inside, anyway you can come in now"
"Alright but why did I have to wait out here in the first place"
"you'll see"
We then walked inside and I closed the door behind us.
It was dark inside and I was about to ask Twilight why the lights were out when all of a sudden.
"SURPRISE" said everypony as the light came on all of a sudden
I almost had heart attack as I stumbled back a little. "What" was the only word that came out of my mouth
Twilight walked beside me "What do you mean what, this is a surprise party for you."
All of a sudden everything clicked and I immediately realized why Twilight, Rarity, and Rainbow was acting so weird today.
"For me really"
suddenly pinky came out of no were "Of course for you silly who else would it be for, you're the only new pony I mean human here and I defiantly wouldn't even think of not throwing a super duper party for a new friend actually that's why I ran off last night I was up all night planning.
I couldn't understand any of this I mean sure I understood why Twilight wanted to be a couple and my friend or rather girlfriend because of all those things I said to her about her being my favorite pony and stuff but the rest of them I just couldn't understand. I mean first was Rarity, She was so willing to make new clothes and she even helped me with my fear of needles, second was Rainbow Dash who was actually able to convince me to go flying with her and even get me to open my eyes even though I was afraid of heights. Finally there was Pinkie Pie who I hadn't even spoken to for that long threw this big party for me just because I was new. Her, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash all wanted to be my friends and I just couldn't understand why.
"Eric are you alright" said Twilight.
"Oh my Gosh why are you crying do you not like the party" said Pinkie
Huh what was she talking about. I then touched my face and became immediately aware of what she was talking about.
"When did I" I said as I looked at all of the worried faces of all of the ponies. I must have been so deep in thought that I didn't even notice that I was letting what I felt on the inside show on the outside. I immediately wiped my eyes and looked at them all "I'm fine"
"Are ya sure sugar cube"
"yes I'm sure"
"Alright darling but if there is anything you need to tell us or ask us to do please do not hesitate right girls"
"Right" they all said in unison.
I just laughed a bit to myself. "Alright" Pinkie Pie then spoke
"Alright that's settled now let's get this party started"
Everypony in the room cheered and everyponys mood immediately lifted as the party began again.
It was going relatively smooth from the look of things as I wondered around the room wondering what I should be doing. All of a sudden Pinkie Pie appeared out of no wear and dragged me over to the rest of the group who was standing over by a snack table. When we got close enough I could hear my name being mentioned which got me curious as to what they were talking about.
"Hey girls"
They all jumped a little at hearing my voice right behind them then they looked at me.
"H-Hey Eric where did you come from"
"I was just walking around when Pinkie Pie appeared out of nowhere and dragged me over here"
Twilight glared at Pinkie for a minute and then sighed. "sorry Eric I told them"
I just looked at her curiously, not really sure of what she meant. "Told them what" I asked. She was about to respond when Rarity spoke up.
"Oh darling congratulations on finding your very special somepony already, I mean you have only been here for two days and already you've found love"
"Oh so that's what Twilight meant when she said I told them for a minute I thought she told you about the" Twilight rushed to my side and put her hoof over my mouth. I looked at her wondering why until I realized it, I was just about to tell them about the show.
They all just looked at us but then just demised it probably not thinking that it was anything important. My mind then wondered to what Rarity had just said a moment ago well actually just one word particular the word love. I'm surprised I didn't think about it sooner I mean here I was worrying about all of these ponies thinking of me as a friend and during all of that I had forgotten that Twilight thought of me as something more. I snapped myself out of it before anypony became worried again.
"I'll be right back girls I need to go think about something" before they could ask what I quickly headed for the door.
I was almost at the door when all of a sudden my body suddenly became cold and then I heard a voice behind me.
"So you're the human this party was thrown for"
I slowly turned around not knowing who it was. It was a silver colored unicorn mare with a mane to match her fur, her mane was long similar to Twilight's but much more wavy. She also had gold bracelet with a ruby embedded into it which seemed familiar to me.
"Are you going to stair all night"
This snapped me out of my trance as I tried to stutter a response. "S-Sorry I d-didn't mean to I-I-I was just I m-mean it was just that well y-you look sort of f-familiar"
She just chuckled a bit which for some reason made me a little nervous and also made me step back just a little which she noticed.
"There is no reason to back away I'm not going to bite"
I chuckled a bit nervously "Y-Yeah I know i-it's just that I-I in a hurry that's a-all"
She stepped a little closer to which made me back up even more that is until I realized that I was backed up right against the door. I wanted to turn the knob but for some reason my hand wouldn't reach for it. I looked down to it thinking that it could have been magic but there wasn't that usual glow that magic would have made so my next guess even though I only thought it was some sort expression or something was that I was frozen with fear. By the time I looked back at her she was already right in front of my face with a creepy smirk on her face. she then leaned over to my ear and whispered "I'll see you around" she then turned around and stared to walk away but then stopped just about a feet or two away. She then turned her head a little, she then mouthed something I couldn't really understand but the way she was moving her mouth it sort of looked like whatever it was it started with an L. She then turned around and walked off and once she was out of site I turned the handle as fast and I ran out as fast as I could but I was still thinking about that mysterious mare who gave me the chills.
I kept running from the moment I left twilight's and I didn't stop, that is until I soon realized I was running in the direction of the everfree forest when I saw it come into view. I immediately stopped inches away from its entrance and just stood their looking at it wondering how different it really was from the rest of Equestria. I mean sure I've seen how dangerous it can be on the show but when your standing right in front of it it's totally different. Anyway I started to get this creepy feeling just from being near it so I stared to walk the other way, that is until something caught my eye. I wasn't really sure what it was but it was moving and its shape resembled that of a human so for some unknown reason I followed it and I know what most people would say, Why, I mean just a moment ago you were talking about how creeped out you were by the forest and now your just going to walk in because you saw some shadowy figure that resemble a human, are you and idiot. The answer is yes but that's besides the point, I know that it sounds crazy but it's just something I can't explain, it's like something was calling out to me or rather drawing me in but the thing is I don't know why. Anyway getting back on topic I continued to follow it that is until I suddenly lost sight of it, of course it wasn't that hard to considering how dark it was. I continued to walk threw the forest not really sure of which direction ponyville was because apparently I had fallowed whatever it was so far into the forest that I didn't even know which way to go and in being pitch black didn't help any. Combine those to things together and you got an extremely paranoid me on you hands. That being the case I kept looking over my shoulders and in every other direction that was possible to look in but I kept forgetting that I could hardly see anything anyway so really it didn't change anything no matter what direction I looked. So I just kept walking trying to ignore the creepiness that was around, very poorly I might add but still it is what it is and I walked strait ahead regardless. I was not sure were I was going but one thing that did pop into my head was the fact that Zicora did live out here the only problem with that is I had know clue which direction she lived in I mean all I ever saw from the show was what looked like a path they followed but I clearly couldn't do that. While I was walking my mind started to drift back to the reason I ran away from the party in the first place. Well actually there was two reason it's just that one is bigger than the other. Firstly was that mare that gave me the creeps, I'm not 100% sure on what it is but she seems oddly familiar but every time I try to remember where I've seen her before it's like somethings blocking my memory. Anyway though that's not the main reason I left. I'm actually surprised I didn't realize it sooner, that the main reason I left the party was Twilight. Not twilight in general she was just a part of it. It's just that I'd never been with anyone before now and I had more or less a loner type of person especially as I got older although not really by choice, it was more the case of me being shy at the beginning but then one day I just didn't care anymore and I really don't understand why. As for Twilight's roll in all of this it may be simple or complex depending on how you look at it. For a long time I had actually wanted a girlfriend but I wasn't really sure of what to do, I mean should I just approach some one that I wanted to ask out and just tell her or should I wait and see if a girl approaches me. Also could I just strike a casual conversation with her and maybe it would develop into something more. These were all questions that were in my mind ever time I thought about having a girlfriend but I was close to giving up I wasn't there yet but I was close. Then one day I discover MLP FIM that I originally thought I wouldn't like but I did. This show actually helped me forget about everyday life for a while but still it wasn't enough for me not to want a girlfriend. After some time although I not exactly sure when,why, or how but I started to wander what it would be like to actually maybe date one of the ponies from the show especially Twilight and again I don't know why, I mean we didn't really have anything in common but that didn't seem to matter. Anyway I put those thoughts aside because obviously anyone would think it was impossible to randomly wake up in a world full of ponies. But then the impossible happened and I ended up here and met the main six from the show. Then what surprised me even more was the fact that Twilight want for me to be her boyfriend or special somepony or what ever the correct term maybe, even after I had told her about the show and about her being my favorite pony, that's actually when she wanted us to be together but was that really a good enough reason. Then through out today the others had been calling me their friend even though we just had met yesterday and with me being a loner with no people or in this case pony skills I immediately felt uncomfortable, not that I did want friends I just wouldn't know what to do once I had them. Finally there is what happened at the party when this whole friend thing really started to get to me and also Twilight. I don't even know how I could be so oblivious I mean here I was so worried about having friend and I didn't even realize that I was already in a relationship which is way above just being friends. In all honesty I panicked because here I was meeting a pony who I thought wasn't real and also I sort of liked her a lot and now I'm actually dating her in such a short time of just meeting her yesterday. After that I wasn't really sure what to do and my brain began to stop working. That when I decide that it would be best if I just went outside to get some fresh air that is before I ran into that creepy mare who kept looking at me seductively. Meeting her pushed me over the line and by that I mean it made me not just go outside to get some fresh air, it made me want to leave the party entirely. So I ran without even thinking about it which is why I'm in this mess in the first place, that and I decided to follow some mysterious shadow for no reason. Anyway all I could do was to keep walking now even if I didn't know were I was going or what was going to happen next. All of a sudden I hear this growling sound coming from behind me and I had a sinking suspicion I knew what it was. But the only way I was going to know for sure was to turn around so I did and that's when I saw them several glowing yellow eyes in the darkness which confirmed what I thought. I backed up slowly knowing that there was nothing I could do against them, then suddenly as I was doing this one of them decides to just out from the darkness and strait at me. Ether it was luck or instinct I ended up dodging it then I ran as fast as I could. As I was running I kept looking behind me to see if they were following me and sure enough they were. But then they slowed down and I wasn't sure why but I found out why very quickly when I ended up falling off a cliff. There wasn't anyone or anypony here to save me ether I was just me and the wolfs so that meant no one would know except then how pathetic I was till the very end. Why I was falling time started to slow down just like I had heard it did and also there were some flash backs. One of these caught me off guard and was a little disturbing, it was the dream I had last night, what was that doing here it wasn't a real memories it was just a dream wasn't it? Unfortunately I didn't get to think about this any longer because time sped right back up and I continued to fall right into some sharp rocks at the bottom one of which impaled me strait thew the chest. I just laid there wondering how come I wasn't dead yet or at least unconscious somewhat. I was suspended not to far from the ground when suddenly yet again I hear that familiar growl so I glanced around as much as I could before finally seeing them. I also notice some stairs which I guessed that's how they must have gotten down here. I began to slowly fade in and out of consciousness and I was hopping that I would be unconscious when they tore me limb from limb. Right when I had closed my eye figuring I was about to become unconscious I heard a song in my head that I had heard before a I thought to myself why am I thinking of this song all of a sudden. My eyes then opened wildly and a realization that the song was not in my head and I obviously didn't have headphones in. It was like the music was in the air itself though now the words that is until I started to hear them and at the same time realize my mouth was moving at the same time and then my head started to hurt and that's the last thing I remember that and that I was thinking about Twilight .
My eyes suddenly shot open and I shot up out of bed. I looked around the room curiously and immediately noticed six particular ponies that where scattered around the room asleep. One of them especially caught my, it was Twilight, She was laying right beside the bed. I was about to wake her up when something caught my eye while I was looking around the room at the rest of them. I just so happened to look in the direction of Twilight's dresser with a mirror attached that Rarity was near when I noticed my reflection. I just stared at without a single word then finally my brain started to work again and the first thought that came to mind was When did my hair grow past my shoulders and why is it a mint green color.
