Well... That just happened.

Aye my head hurts... Why am I in a room with nothing but a mirror? "Anypony hear that?" "Yeah sounds like it came from in here."...Crap...

Here let me tell you about me, and what happend last night.

My name is Carter Joe, and im a 15 year old boy in 10th grade and about 5:11 last time I checked. Im wearing a blue shirt, some chocolate colored shorts, and white running shoes.
And to say it started out a good night was a stretch. In all honesty I was kinda bored playing my video games that night, but it wasn't that uncommon. My parents where out to dinner with some relatives, and none of my friends wanted to hang out.

So to cut to the interesting part, I was playing through The Last of Us... Again. But my game locked up and a bright flash came from the tv. The extremely bright light left as soon as it came and the tv was normal again.

Standing up after this happend I go check the tv to see if anything was wrong, of coarse immediately realizing I had no idea at all how tv's worked... I backed off to look at it muttering to myself. "Well that was kinda weird. I dont think tv's are ment to do that."

Going in to press the on/off button I notice something wrong with the screen. It was all well, "Wavy" like water in a lake or ocean.
That in itself scared me and made me fall on my bum, but after watching it for a few seconds a sense of curiosity came over me and made me want to touch it. When I did it felt exactly how I thought it would feel, "Wet."

Feeling more courageous, I held my breath and put my head in the tv to see what was on the other side,
when I did get to it, my head was sticking out of a little puddle of water. When I started to look around I was amazed to see buildings with plants growing all over them. It was like nature was taking back the area. Im not going to lie when I say that I thought it WAS beautiful looking but, its like I was in... Oh no.
Taking a closer look I could see a dead body and and a message on the wall saying "YET ANOTHER OFFICER DEAD, HOW MANY WILL IT TAKE BEFORE YOU GIVE US OUR RATIONS."

Its safe to say I took my head out of the tv and unpluged my PS3 right after.

"I-I w-was in the world of The Last of Us... Holy crap." I said with a mix of surprise and fear.

Trying to recover from my somewhat shaken breath I look at the tv again just to see the "water effect" was gone, like the portal was cut off.

Taking a sigh of relief I sat on my chair and took the remote control to switch the tv over so I could watch my favorite channels. Doing this, the "water effect" reappears. Obviously, me seeing this made me start to panic a bit.
But then a thought came to mind.
'What if what ever is on the tv is where the portal ends up?'
It wasn't that crazy of a idea honestly so I start thinking to myself 'where would I like to go.'... I say its not that crazy of a idea but looking back, It WAS crazy. I mean that idea itself makes Bowser from Super Mario bros look somewhat sane.

However it didn't take long to choose, after all, I read enough Human in Equestria storys to know where I wanted to go.

So I go to my recorded list to see My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episodes, and start to play one of them. as soon as I seen what I have been calling the "water effect" apper on my tv. I take a deep breath and jump in.
I was expecteing to jump into water but instead I jumped in what I could only discribe as a space vortex.

As I flew through the "vortex" I felt extreme pain all over my body.

But before the pain became too much I blacked out.

When I had woke up I was still in the vortex but felt... Different. But before I could look myself over. The vortex ended and I flew into the same room I talked about at the start before slaming straight into the wall.

And this whole time while im remindng myself what happend last night, (assuming everything went correctly.) Two ponys are about to walk in to this room, raise alarm to my presence and maybe cause panic...

'Great... Well on the bright side at least I dont have to face my other self to get a persona'

Taking a quick scan of the room I notice some paintings, pillers and the same mirror I talked about beforehand. The next thing I noticed is that my body DID NOT feel right. But I ignored it and walk over behind one of the pillers to hide from what I can only hope are two ponys from Equestria.

Its then I hear the door slowly open with two voices saying, "Are we really coming in here?"
"Yes, we didin't go to get the key and back for nothing! Besides... I really like this room, it feels cozy and nice..."
"Whatever you say. Can we go now? Im not bringing home any bits for the family by being here."
"Yes yes, We will report back to Princess Cadence about this saying it was a mouse or something." They say as they close the door to leave.

Heh a mouse or something...I dont know about them but I have never seen a mouse fly through a room and crash into a wall making a huge vibration similar to a mini-earthquake before...

Finally having time to look myself over I look down and see the same clothing that was on me before, (abit bigger on me now, but whatever.) Looking at my hands though I go wide eyed as I see they are covered in.... Creamy tan fur...

Running to the mirror I see not the boy who is 5:11 but a buck, (male rabbit,)who is about 4:9.

As I start looking at my faces details I see a black little rabbit nose and two big brown spots around my eyes. I also notice that my head is completely round for some reason. looking at my long ears that go down to my upper back I see they also have a brown end. like the tips of my ears where dipped in chocolate.

"Huh... well this is somthing that I DON'T like at ALL."
I grab one of my ears with my "new" hand to see how it feels only to JUST now notice that I have four fingers... WITH OUTLINES... I cant really say this is what I expected when I wanted to go to Equestria but man..." I look like a fricking Sonic the Hedgehog OC... And I really dislike Sonic the Hedgehog."

Taking a sigh of frustration I look ahead to the doors that are my way out of this room saying

"Well... Here I go..."

Well... At least I don't need a ticket.

I opened the doors to the hallway just to see a room that has, you guessed it, more doors.

Just for the sake of exploration, I started to check one of the rooms just to find out it was a bedroom/guestroom. When after giving it a quick look over, I go to the window on the other side of the room and open it.

Looking outside I quickly realized exactly where I was, and the fact I didin't notices the walls and floor where made of crystal in the first place made me bury my face in my hands saying. "I feel so stupid right now."

After all how could I not realise this was the Crystal Empire?

After I stop feeling embarrassed, I look out the window some more starting to enjoying the view for for a little bit.
It honestly reminded me about the time when my parents took me to Las Vages for vacation when I was 6 years old, where we went up the replica of the Eiffel Tower and where able to see most of the city... Its a dang shame I was scared of hights back then.

But anyway, I was about start to make my way out but stopped after I heard, "Hey! Did you guys open the door to that room over there when checking the mirror?"
"No, do you think somepony came out of it?"
"Very funny, but check the room anyway to make sure there are no intruders."

'Damn.' Was the first thing to come to mind when I heard that.

Even though I only gave the room a quick look over, I knew there was no place to hide.
So realizing the only way to escape was through the window, I think to myself 'Damn damn' as I start getting cold feet looking out the window to start sidling.

Taking a deep breath I shakily climb out of the window to start shimmying away from it.

Now I have to say, If you ever get caught in a situation where there is a high chance to fall to your death. You can have ALOT of bad thoughts pop into your head that make you want to just lie down and cry. But thats not the end of it.

Looking down my knees started to feel weak and my stomach got a falling feeling that made my breath start to increase. The only thing I could say to my self was. "Oh c-crap thats f-freaking high" However what I wasn't expecting was a response saying. "What did you say?"

Looking up, I saw a crystal guard pegasus flying infront of me with a stirn face that pretty much said, 'dont even try to move.'
I took a deep breath before saying. "Hello there offi-" But sadly, was cut off with him saying. "Under the name of Princess Cadence, I will have to take you into custody for trespassing and suspicious activity. Now please come with me." He said as he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt.

Even though I was caught I was quite happy that he saved me from my own stupidity... Im also glad im like a 1/4 of my weight or else my shirt might have ripped.

When we landed on the ground in the middle of town I was able to calm down my breathing while quickly saying "Thank you officer."
He responded with. "Yes yes now lets just get moving." Clearly just wanting to get this over with.

Looking around I saw some of the crystal pony population looking at me confused saying stuff like.
"What is it?" "Is it evil?" "Why is he escorting a bunny?" "ITS SO CUTE, MOM CAN I HAVE IT?" You know, the stuff you would expect.

I needed to get away from the guy, I mean... Let's be honest. I had no idea how things could go with Cadence, if this was Celestia, I'm sure I would be fine but with Cadence anything could happen. In all honesty, I was scared and didn't want to take chances with her. So I needed... AN ESCAPE PLAN!

I begin to quickly look for a way out of this gaurds grip. But while I do this I notice off in the distance that there is a train parked picking up ponys with the conductor yelling "TRAIN DEPARTURE IN FIVE MINUTES!"
Its safe to say I just found what I needed.

I quickly thought of the most clever and genius plan ever known to mankind.

"LOOK SAPPHIRE SNORE!" I yelled out of nowhere.
"Her name is Sapphire Shore criminal." The guard says not amused.

Ok it sounded good on paper and it died faster then a Snuggie, but its the thought that counts right?
At this point I give myself a quick moment to just turn around and punch him in the face, causing him to drop me.

This was not to hurt him of course, after all. I'm a freaking rabbit punching a guy more twice my weight for Christ sake. I just needed to surprise him so he would let go.

As soon as my feet hit the ground I sprinted for the train. The guard I just punch quickly yelled. "EVERYPONY GET THAT RABBIT!"

Suddenly guards came out of no where, there where easily a couple dozen guards of different types all chasing me.

And as im running I started to feel a weird tingly sensation in my head but it proved to be only a minor annoyance that I was able to ignore on my way to the train station.

The few pegasus guards that were chasing me started to try to dive bomb me, but I was so small and quick on my feet that I was able to juke them easily. It was then that two of the pegasi guards that where trying to dive bomb me decide to land in front of me to cut me off.

Seeing this I run off to the side and in between buildings where another guard cut me off there too. I wasn't going to give up though, I ran faster while the guard sat there getting ready to catch me, and before he could grab me I jump for all it was worth, clearing him with ease and landed in the middle of the street.
"WOW!" I yellout in surprise. But I had no time to think of how I did that, I was running low on time to get on that train!

I ran down the street getting closer to the train, I was even cutting in between buildings just to save time!
As I was running, I looked behind myself at this point and I couldn't even see the earth pony or unicorn guards chasing me. but sadly I was also getting REALLY tired and the pegisi were still hot on my tail.

But it didn't matter, I ran onto the train station platform and straight through the building! The trains doors were still open for passengers... I was home free! *BAM*

The door slams closed with a magical purple aura causing me to go face first into a metal door! I stumble back a few steps while seeing stars around my head for a second before I shake it off.

I look to my side to see Shining Armor standing there with a cocky smirk on his face.
"Sorry little guy, this is as far as you go." Soon after he said that, three pegisi guards land behind me and start to salute to there captain.
"Well stallions looks like we might have to train a bit harder from now on, ok?"
"Sir yes sir!" They all say at the same time. Shining Armor then turns to a slightly older stallion saying "You can leave now, the rabbit finally got here"
"Thank you Captain, *ahem* ALL ABOARD. NEXT STOP CANTERLOT!"
After registering what he said I say. "Wait what? This all was a TRAP!?"

"Yep we almost instantly knew where you where running to, so I chose to wait here just in case my guards coudn't catch you. Also just so you didn't run somewhere else, I asked the conductor to wait for you."

My eye started to twitch while he was explaining how he beat me.
"Its a good thing I did to, he would have left about two minutes ago if I havent."

After he said that, the train blew its whistle and started to heat up the engines to move and as this happend I ran right past Shining Armor catching him off guard.

After this happend he quickly teleported about six feet in front of me. Upon seeing this, I use all the will power I had to jump straight at him to just at him a give a swift punch in the face knocking him down on the floor.

Now that...was to hurt him AND suprise him unlike the last guy.

I ran past him and along the train while it was still barly moving and seeing the pegasi guards flying after me I ran up to the front of the train and jump on the tracks in front of it.

I ran as fast as I could but when I turned my head around to look back, I tripped and landed on my chest.

As I turn around on my back and look up, I see I'm surrounded by the three guards who are now pointing there spears at me. with Shinng Armor teleporting on top of me saying "Why dont you just give up you little... Pest!"
"Commander please calm down, the chase is over now."

After taking a deep frustrated sigh, Commander Armor says. "Anything to say before we take you back to the castle for questioning?"

I was about to tell him to piss off but... I had a stroke of genius and said. "Yeah umm...Watch out for that train."

After I say this, Shining Armor and the guards look down the tracks to see a now speeding train coming at them.
They all dive out of the way while I lay there in the tracks, but as the train passes over me I reach my hand out and grab onto what I would think was a pipe, and after I do this the train starts to drag me away.

The guards were not able catch what just happend and said. "Where did he go?" "Did he teleport?"

Shining Armor who was also confused and angry at this said by this yelled.
"HOW DID HE GET AWAY!? HE WAS RIGHT THERE!" stomping his hoof in the ground and taking another sigh he continued.
"We must inform princess Celestia at ONCE!" he ended before he teleported back to the castle.

But meanwhile I was able to wrap my feet around the pipe I was hanging off of too make the ride easyer. As i was hanging I couldn't help but ask myself. 'Why did I do all of this... I-I just made myself a outlaw for next to no good reason, man...All I wanted to do was hang out with the main 6 but now assuming that word gets out I'll have to run for my life through every town I visit.'
Sadly though, I can't change the past and now I'll have to live with these choices.

Well...On a brighter note, at least I didn't need to pay for tickets!

Well... At least I'm famous now.

Hunger... Tiredness... Questions... And lack of logic... Those are the ingredients to make the perfect little girls.

But joking aside I had no idea what I was going to do. There was no way I could meet Princess Celestia on good terms if Shining Armor sent a letter or message. Which I knew he probably did.

I did have plenty of time to think of what I could do during the hour, maybe two hour train ride. But sadly in the end the only plan I could count on was trying to wing it.

While I was trying to think of what to do though, the train started to break causing me to almost let go of the pipe I was holding so I could grab my ears to shield them the the evil screeching noise of death.

After the train did hit a full stop, I dropped from the pipe I was hanging from and layed on the ground to rest my tired limbs.
After a few seconds I roll over and crawl out from under the train and climb up to the Boarding platform. Most of the ponys who saw this had a confused expression on there face for as to why I would be under the train.
But ignoring all of attention I was getting, I quickly run away from the station to make sure the conductor of the train wouldn't come out and notice me. Last thing I needed was to cause a commotion in the first few minutes of arrival...

Again...

I have to say though, Canterlot seemed to be a somwhat silent city. The only thing that I could really hear was the light breeze that blew in my ears. That and a pony every now and then of course.

But as I was walking down a more busy street I see a hardware store with no shopkeeper keeping things in check. So I walk in making the bell go off and the first thing I hear is "Oh hello dear customer, please give me a few seconds I'm using the little fillys room right now." she says in a sing song voice.
This couldn't be more perfect!

So I grab the first hammer I see and put it in the back of my pants with my shirt over it so no one-... No pony sees... I then yell out "Umm never mind I dont see anything I could use. Sorry."
In reply she calls "Oh... Ok thanks for stopping by" I also hear her mutter before I walkout "ponies always say that when I use the bathroom."
I feel bad... But not really now that I have a proper weapon.

As I walk out and down the street a little, I see a royal unicorn guard wearing saddle backs on this back turn the corner. Seeing this, I dove down a allyway while peeking my head out to watch what he was doing.

The guard walks closer to a building and uses his magic to pullout what looks like a poster, a hammer and a nail.
He then proceeded to put the poster on the wall and start hammer it in place. After he is finished he proceeded to walk down the road to wherever he was going.

After he got faraway enough I walked down the street to look at the poster.
If I remember correctly it looked like this.

'Dang... I sure did a good job at pissing them off.' I think to myself before I then tear the poster and down a nearby window to get a better look at the picture they drew of me, and I have to say... "Not bad. Not bad, got some of the small details right... Wait... The freaking guy made one of my eyes derpy!!!

It was true one of my eyes where looking in the completely wrong direction.
"That freaking asshole who drew this is going to pay!" I say as I tear the poster in half. sighing in frustation. I then start to turn walk down the street again when I start hear something in the distance.

My ears perked up and at this and I was able to catch the words "-IE AS SHE SHOOTS OFF FIREWORKS TO DAZZLE YOU ALL!" Getting curious, I started to make my way down the street to find the cause of the loud voice. Every corner I turn the voice got louder and louder until I was able to see the show.

"WATCH AS THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE MAKES THIS APPLE DISAPPEAR INTO THIN AIR.... Without the use of magic." She says the last line with a cocky smirk.

Oh brother, I dont even know if I want to stick around to watch this awful excuse for entertainment. At this I turn to walk past the stage, and as I'm walking a brilliant aroma filled my rabbit nose.
Looking in the general direction of the smell, I spot a curtain to back stage and with no one there guarding it. 'Well, dont mind If I do.'

As I'm looking back stage I cant help but notice the smell of the heavens is getting stronger. Looking frantically for the source of it I sniff boxes, crates, some barrels, untill I finally find it. The most beautiful set up of fruits, vegetables, a few pies, and a cake that was begging to be eatten.

And as my unwritten duty of food ea- I MEAN food protecter. It was my duty to keep all of this safe... In my belly...

"Hey Nova, you hear that?"
"Yep it sounds like the bunny we have been looking for." The stallion says with a smirk.
"Its about time he turned up, we've been looking for him for about twenty minutes! And if we dont get the bunny from a hat trick ready in time, that Trixie character will chew us out for sure!"

As the two stallions approach the food table, they see said giant bunny eatting the food like it hasn't eatten for weeks.
"... You seeing what im seeing?"
"Yeah, that bunny grew HUGE!... well you get the hat, I'll make sure he stays put."
"Really!? How are we going to get him to fit?"
"Oh don't worry I got a idea."

'... How did I get into this situation...' Is all I can think as I get stuffed in a top hat so absurdly big that anyone who played Team Fortress 2 would drool on sight.

After the morons finally fit me in to the thing. They put the hat on a table with wheels and pushed it on stage for Trixie to soon use.

To be expected Trixie did a double take when she turned around and saw the thing. After getting her bearings to get the act ready, she turned the top hat upside-down And then mentally prepared for her quick speech on what she was going to do.

After she turns around though, I climb half way out the the hat and sat there doing a motion with my hands to keep the crowd silent about me.

"Now WATCH as The Great and POWERFUL Trixie makes a... Small... and cute little bunny appear from this hat!" She said the last part hesitatly
"You know with magic being such a common thing, you would think you would makes acts that are less... Well, boring."
Trixie turns around and was surprised by my unexpected appearance. "W-w-what kind of rabbit are you!?" she says in shock and awe.
"Sadly im the 'kind of rabbit' that gets stuffed in hats for no reason apparently."
"Really hmmm?" she says slowly starting to see intrest in me. "Now tell me mr. Rabbit do you need A job?"

"GET ON WITH THE ACT!" "YEAH!" The crowd suddenly yells.
"Whats all the yelling about?" a unicorn guard with a saddle bag says to one of the mares who were complaining.
"The performer is taking to long to do her act because she keeps talking to the rabbit!"
"Talking to her rabbit?" he says as he looks on the stage to see what she is talking about.
As he looks on stage and sees me. he then goes to uses his magic to pull out a poster for comparison. And sure enough, they where both the same.
He then yells at the top of his lungs, "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM!" Obviously when I heard this I jumped out of the hat and ran like no other.

It didnt take long for a few more guards to join the chase. Because before I knew it I had about 10 gaurds chasing me at one time.
"I really should have seen this coming when I got forced on that stage." I said in a somwhat depressed tone.

Now a big difference between The Crystal Emipre and Canterlot is that there are A LOT more dead ends in both the streets and allyways, so there was a long term goal I had in mind.

Get on the fricken roofs.

It will reduce all my chasers to just pegisi, and I will be less likely to run into a dead end...
How ever its going to be easer to see me, but hey, gotta take what you can get when your running from the law.

How ever, said goal will be hard to do sense the buildings in canterlot seem for the most part, unnecessarly big.
And with pegasi chasing me already, climbing is a no go.

As I've been running down the street in a straight line for about 5 minutes, I started to see the outer wall to the city.

It was then I had a REALLY ballsy idea on how to escape... And I liked it...

First thing was first though, I needed to find a way up Onto the wall...

I didn't have time to think though as a arrow flew right over my head at that moment.
"Wow! Hey asshole! Watch where your aiming that thing!" I yell at the guard.
"Then stop running and let me grab you!" The guard yells back.
'Screw that.' Was all I thought for the first few seconds... How ever I realized it might be not that bad of a Idea, all I would really need was a bit of luck... which was something i've been relying on this whole time I was here so I was good in that department.

"Hey big, mean and stupid try to get me!" I said while jumping backwards while then blowing a raspberry right after. Slowing down a little was all it took for the pegasus gaurd that shot the arrow at me to speed up and go for a grab.

Right as the pegasus guard grabs me I jump as high as I can into the air making the guard fly up and grab me while saying to the others.
"Hey I got him!"
However the guard never stopped flying up, which was a big screw up for him.

When we went above the wal,l it was then I pulled out my newly gotten hammer and hit him across the face. Not only did the hit knock him out but it also left a nasty imprint on the side of his cheek.

So I push myself off of him and take the bow he was using away from his invisible grasp. And grab onto the ledge at the same time.
First I threw the bow up and then with the last of my strength to quickly pulled myself.
But after all the running and jumping before im left panting for air.

I knew that the moment of rest wouldn't last long though. I knew that the other pegasi were going to fly up to get ready to grab me again.

I grab the bow and put it arround my body and look over the edge of the mountain saying.

"Well... Looks like im going go have to jump." Dont worry even I knew this part wouldn't end well.

Well... Im alive.

I have to say, looking down the mountain with a bad fear of hights was one thing, but getting ready to jump down it without a parachute was another.

"Oh please let cartoon physics makes this less painful." I quickly said under my shaken breath.

I closed my eyes and do a quick jump off the side only to hope for the best. Thankfuly the mountain was pretty steep so it was a straight down drop with my current momentum... How ever that won't stop the fact that the ground is still coming up fast.

"Your not getting away you evil rabbit!" A pegusus guard said tackling me out of the air and stopping my fall completely. I reached for my hammer only to realize I let go of it when I went to grab my bow when falling earlier ... 'And here is where my luck ends...' I started to flail around trying to hit the guard in random places... only for most of those places to be blocked by the armor he was wearing.

It was then a lightning bolt from out of nowhere, hit the guard and dropped me to the side of the mountain.
'Ok not ALL of my luck ran out yet.' was all I thought before I started to bounce down painfully into a nearby woods.

After rolling down a smaller hill for about 10 seconds, I was able to roll under a slightly thicker tree that was sticking out of the ground a little bit.
How ever my vision was starting to blur from the extreme pain I was in, and the only thing that came to mind before I blacked out was.
'NOW my luck ran out...'

My vision came back to be what I could only assume was a few minutes later, as I saw the hooves of what could only assume where a bunch of guards. I even heard one say.
"Aye, keep looking for the rodent lads! No non-flying critter could get far after a fall like that! And somepony, tell me where that dog gone bolt came from anyway!" Sadly though trying to move a limb put me in so much pain I blacked out yet again.

"...Awake again..." I said to no one in particular. After trying to move one of my limbs again I felt a great pain, not nearly as bad as before but still pretty bad. As I slowly crawled out of my little "hidey hole" I saw that it was night time out now. I tryed to stand up only to immediately figure out the hard way that I sprang my right foot, broke my left leg and right arm.

"Damnit how am I going to get to Ponyville now!? Im in the woods by the side of a mountain with both legs and my arm pretty much broke, no food or water, guards looking for me and... And... No moral left." I said feeling my breath start to shake in both fear and sadness.

What else was I meant to make of this situation? 'All I am, is a 15 year old white boy that is now stuck in a world he though would be perfect. But now im a freaking rabbit that can barely walk and is being hunted by guards that are probably going to throw me in a jail cell for the rest of my life. And that is assuming I'm going to survive walking these woods without my ability to run and jump to help avoid the carnivores that are probably out there.'

Looking back and forth with tears forming in my eyes. I chose to start limping in a random direction while nursing my right arm.
I was really sad about the change of events, but crying about it until I starve was not going to help the situation at hand.

As I was walking, I started to hear creepy noises around me. On top of that I was barely staying awake from the extreme tiredness I was starting to feel, it was like the monsters of the night where toying with me and just watched until I was to collapse from exhaustion.

After walking for what felt like hours, I saw what looked like off in the distance a wagon being pulled by a pony. Squinting my eyes to get a better look I could tell right away even in the dark that it was Trixie pulling her trailer along a road. Limping slightly faster I started to yell out.
"Trixie h-help me please!" Thankfully. I knew she heard my call for help because she jumped at the unexpected sound of my voice.
"I-im over here!" I called out before I triped and fell on my face, knocking me out instantly.

'I never realized how easy it was to hurt yourself when your limping.' I think to myself. I could feel I was on a bed of some sort... Opening my eyes I saw a ceiling that was made of wood... Moving my head somewhat I saw a small kitchen, a table with a radio on it and a door... I was tempted to get up but stopped at seeing both of my legs as well as my arm in bandages. I also felt a lot cleaner then before.

Looking out a nearby window I saw light pouring in... "Huh?... I guess I was out longer then I thought." I said outloud. Right after I said that, the door flew open, revealing a, at first worried, but then relived Trixie without her cape and hat.

"Ah your up, thank goodness for that. Trixie didn't think you where going to get up anytime soon."
"Thanks for taking me in Trixie, I might have died out there if you didn't help me." I said starting to smile.
"Think nothing of it loyal companion, Trixie knows when a situation is bad for somepony. But anyway Trixie doesn't recommend walking right now."

Looking at my bandage, I noticed they where pretty professionaly wrapped up.
"Hey Trixie, why did you learn how to wrap up broken limbs?"
"Thats a easy question loyal companion, I, The Great and Powerful Trixie, need to know these kind of things when you travel as much as me." she said proud of her self. "And Trixie did not JUST 'wrap them up,' she also used her amazing magic to move the bones to what she thinks is the right place... If you end up with a deformed leg or arm... That might be Trixie's fault."

I couldn't help but feel kinda disturbed by her saying this but... I didn't know how my new body's bones were meant to be aligned anyway.
So I toughened up and said. "Heh thats kinda neat, and my names Carter by the way." I say trying to get on her good side. But I really was somewhat impressed. After all, I just thought all she knew where useless spells that looked cool.

"Hmm sorry but I think I will stick with 'loyal companion'. Rolls off the tongue better, don't you agree?" For the response I grunt in annoyance thinking.
'This is going to be a long trip.' Waiting a few seconds before continuing the coversation, I say.
"So... Any cool storys you know?"

After talking for what felt like hours, Trixie left to pull the trailer. And I have to say that things got boring fast. Even if she was full of herself, she still had cool storys to share that was never shown on MLP: Friendship is magic. One story was how she had to take out a group of stallions in Las Pegasus with a single spoon...
Yes the storys WERE farfetched, but they where still entertainment none the less.The only other type of entertainment I had was the radio. But sadly I could tell it was still early in development, the huge lack of radio stations made it a letdown.

At some point during the trip the trailer stops and I hear voices outside, having my ears perk up I was able to hear.
"Welcome to Manehattan. What brings you here?"
"The Great and Powerful Trixie is here to dazzle everypony here with her true magic." Trixie says in a clearly arrogant tone.
"Umm... Ok, well, enjoy your stay here. Oh and here I should give this to you so you can also be on the lookout for a criminal."
"Criminal? What kind of criminal would we be talking about?"
"Just some stupid rabbit that likes causing chaos around the nearby towns." I begin to get nervous at this statement.
"Hmm really? Trixie might have to keep that in mind. Thank you royal guard." she says as the trailer starts moving again.

'Man, I hope Trixie isn't the type of pony that would sell me out.' Is what I thought. She may of fixed me with her magic up but from what I understand, 4000 bits is alot of money.
"Burn that bridge when I get to it." Is what I thought outloud. Its not like I could do much else in my currently crippled state anyway. So with nothing else to do, I close my eyes and fall asleep.

"Hey wake up loyal companion! The-"
"Yes the Great and Powerful Trixie damands it! I get it!" I said slightly annoyed at being woken up.
"Well!" Trixie said in a huff. "Would The Great and Powerful Trixie's loyal companion atleast tell her if this is truly is him on this poster!" She says using her magic to levitate the poster in front of me.

All in all, the poster looked the same as before, just with a few more things im now convicted for. That and the reward is 10.000 bits now.
"..."
"Well?"
"...Yes that is me..." I say truthfully.
"Ha! I The Great and Powerful Trixie knew it!"
"So what, are you going to sell me out to the guards?" I was able to say somewhat calmly.

Trixie stayed silent for a few seconds before saying.
"No..."
"And why is that?"
"Well. Trixie knows what its like running from guards. They never put such a big sum of bits over Trixies head, but she knows what its like." I was somewhat confused by this. Trixie being wanted at some point I can see happening, but NOT turning me in!? Thats something I honestly didn't think would happen.

"Also get off of Trixies bed, you should be fine now." she says impatiently.
"I should be fine? But its only been about six hours!"
"Its really only been five hours but Trixie isn't counting." I gave an annoyed expression at this, but Trixie didn't care from what I could tell.
"Also Trixie has to ask... What is Carter the Rabbits long term plan?" My annoyed expression turned in one of confusion at this name.
"Carter the Rabbit?" I ask in response.
"Yes, Trixie was getting bored of 'loyal companion' and chose to give you a pet name as of right now."
'The name made it sounded like I was some sort of protagonist in a adventure... Which wasn't far from the truth in all honesty. This might be a pet name I wouldn't completely mind... That might change though if she starts screwing with me while using it.'
"Anyway, Trixie asks again. What is Carter the Rabbits long term plan?"

"Well my long term plan is... Well, to get to Ponyville."
"Ponyville? Why would you need to go there?" She asks, clearly not understanding my plan.
'The original reason why I wanted to go was to hang out with the mane six. But there is NO WAY im tellng Trixie that.'
After giving myself a quick moment to think, I said. " I heard there's a pony there that is real close with the princess, so I just walk in, makes friends with her, she sends a message to Celestia saying im a good guy, everything works out. 'Bam' happy ending!" I said happy with my new half assed plan.

At this Trixie busts out in laughter. "You REALLY had Trixie going there for a second!"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Your not joking..."
"Nope."
"...Well... Umm The Great and Powerful Trixie just took you to Manehattan which is not to far away from Ponyville. You should be able to get there in maybe an hour if you keep a steady pace." she says trying to get rid of the awkward atmosphere.
"Really?"
"Yep, Just be careful, guards are everywhere in every nearby town now because of you. or well... Thats what they said in the newspaper at least."
"Gee, thanks Trixie. You know, your not that bad of a friend." I said with a smile on my face.

After I got up off of the bed I started to look for my bow only to have Trixie levitate it over to me.
"I, The Great and Powerful Trixie, hopes she doesn't regret giving you this."
"Don't worry, I promise I wont kill anypony with it." I say trying to joke with her.
"...Ok. If you find Trixie again, feel free to stay around... Friend." she says the last part with a smile.

Smiling while giving a quick nod, I open the door while taking a careful peek outsde to make sure the coast is clear before running off.

I quickly spotted Ponyville far off in the distance and started running towards it while thinking to myself.

"Well...Lets hope for the best."

I ran for about 5 minutes before I slowed down to a walking speed, giving me time to think back to whats been happening since I got here. One of the bigger questions I had was. 'Where did that lightning bolt come from?' In the area I was falling, no clouds where anywhere near me, or at least that's what I thought.

I was thinking for a long time but the only answer I could come up with is that 'somepony is helping me.' Of course WHO the pony was, your guess was as good as mine. But instead of straining myself on this topic, I continue to walk along a path that I can only assume will lead to Ponyville.

After another good 10 minutes of walking I impulsively reach for my phone only to realize my pockets were empty. Sighing in boredom, I start to take in the area around me while humming a song I like.
Over all, nothing interesting around, but Ponyville was getting closer and I could start to see the... Ponyvilians? Ponights?... I could see the civilians walking around and could start to see them in detail.

The one I could see the best was Pinkie Pie. I say she is Pinkie Pie because.
1. I could see she was not moving her legs in a walking motion because she is clearly bouncing.
2. There where a bunch of ponys following her... Most likely she was singing.
And 3... She was the brightest pink color I could see.

I couldn't help but smile at seeing a pony I knew by heart. I have to be honest here when I say, Pinkie Pie might be my favorite pony. Of coarse me saying that doesn't mean I dislike any of the rest but, you know what I'm getting at.

Not gonna lie though, seeing guards everywhere was kind of a odd sight. After all, Ponyville is a small, quiet town... Even though something weird happens their every episode.
And because it was a small and quiet town, the pony civilians might quickly recognize who I am.

I'm a guy who makes quick choices and sticks with them... But my half-assed plan was looking worse and worse, and I already knew the plan was bad from the start. But all I could do was keep walking and hopefully sneak in town.

Something I wasn't expecting though was a family camping by the road near me. I dove straight into a nearby bush while thinking,
"HOW THE HELL DID I NOT SEE THEM!?"

When I was taking a closer look I saw a stallion thats a earth pony with a brown coat and mustache with bed head, he also had a cutie mark with a paint brush on it. I also saw a unicorn mare with a white coat and red mane that seemed well kept, she had a mop for a cutie mark. And last but not least, I saw a little earth pony filly with a white coat and red mane, but had a blue hat on her head that was probably ment to hide her clearly messy hair. She obviously had no cutie mark.

"So are we going to go to the Everfree Forest tomorrow dad?" The little filly asked with excitement in her voice.
"Yes sweetie, we will go tomorrow after we get some supplies at Ponyville." The father said with a smile.
"I hope we can see a manticore up close like Daring Do! That would be so cool!"
"Heh for our sake, I hope we don't" The mother said with a mix of playfulness and concern.
"Oh don't worry, if he attacks us I'll protect you!" The stallion said with pride.
"Yeah, like how you protected her from the evil bird earlier?"

I soon started to get bored and decided to sneak around them.
Why they where camping in the Everfree Forest with a little kid was beyond me. But focusing on the task ahead was my main goal, and I couldn't do that when im sitting around doing nothing. So with that remark I started walking again toward Ponyville, which by the way, was really close now.

After another 10 minutes, I was starting to approach Ponyville but I instinctively reached in my pocket for my phone yet again, but was quickly disappointed with the straight fact that it wasn't there, and it won't ever be while im in Equestria...
"Dang,I could really use some good music right about now." I said outloud somewhat bummed. But it wasn't all bad, no one will call me when im sneaking around. Which was something I would need to do right about now now...

I quickly ran in between buildings trying to get around both ponys and guards. 'I needed a somthing to hide in.' I thought. Taking a quick peek around the back of the house to make sure nopony was looking, I ran across the street to the next alley.

I started getting closer to the shopping district quickly, and it was getting obvious to, There where a lot more civilians and guards around. "I could really use a box right about now." I said to myself.
The request wasn't to much to ask for though because I saw a empty one... Right by the stands... There was no easy way I could get it while they were there.

The only time they leave there stands is when they go home or when they... Sing a... Song...
'I think my brain just processed a great idea!'

Now as a rabbit my voice was slightly higher pitch, but still clearly sounded like a guy. So sounding like Pinkie wasn't going to be that hard... Well, thats what I was thinking at least.

Taking cover behind a trash can I quietly started to practice singing.

"My name is Pinkie Pie, and I am here to sAY-" My high voice gave a quick squeak like I was in the rougher part of puberty.

"Ok, I wasn't a good singer back then, and I'm still a bad singer now... It was worth a try I guess."

The familiar pink pony then walked by the ally saying. "Did I just hear my song? Or is my Pinkie Sense doing something new?"

I was in a bad position right now, but if I could just use my brain to figure out a plan to get Pinkie to sing another song, then this could turn around in my favor!

"Hello, is any pony back here!!! Oh are you new?" I could hear her start to approach the trash can I was hiding behind.

"Uhh yeah... I'm new... Could you do that singing thing again? I missed it the first time!" I say trying to disguise my voice... Even though I'm sure she never heard it before anyway.

"Oh sure! But where are you?" She was getting even closer my hiding spot... I was gonna be found out!

"Uhh, that's a surprise... If you sing a good song out there... I'll come out..." I was quietly positioning myself so I could sprint off.

"Ooo~ a surprise! I can sing a good song!"
She then ran off to singing a song I haven't even heard before, something about a "party just for me" or something.

It didn't take long for the ponies to join Pinkie as she marched off singing a catchy song with the town residents, leaving me to take a sigh of relief and a free box for me to grab!

After running out there to grab it, I start to run back to the alley way. But as I'm running, something catches my eye.
Of course I saw my wanted poster but I noticed another type of poster.

"Be there or be square?" I said somewhat unimpressed.
"That as simple of a slogan you can get!"
"Still... It still sounds kinda cool, I just need to figure out what day it is so I can crash it" I said with a mischievous grin forming on my face.
Crashing a party while singing that song about Trogdor that Strong Bad came up with sounded like fun.

"Halt you long ear'd fiend!" A guard pony yelled at me.
"Will you JUST give me a break!" I complain. But the guard was not going to hesitate to grab me so I ditched the box and start to run down the street.

Running down a street was not a wise choice when it came to Ponyville. After all, there was a guard around every corner.
How ever the chase got alot harder when I saw a rainbow streak fly through the sky towards me.

"Right... Kinda forgot about this small problem..." I said a little more worried now.
The way she is flying though is like she is gonna try to crash right into me. So if I'm right, I'll need to time this just right.

Rainbow Dash was flying right at me with me running towards her is like playing a game of chicken... Well... Except I know she won't stop.
So when it came to the last seconds I jumped for all its worth...
And she was able to change her flight course just enough to still get me...
As she was flying we both were going through town at highspeeds until we crashed into a building.

I was barely still awake from that hit, but I could tell Rainbow Dash was still (for the most part) fine.
"Ha, if you think you can escape from the one and only, Rainbow dash then you are out of luck pal."
I was considering trying to get up to fight her, but I didn't think it would make anything better.
After all, hitting and running away from my problems didn't make them any better in the past.

So I chose to just lay there and just give up.
So after I heard a voice saying
"Rainbow Dash what was that all about!?"
"I caught the rabbit thing Twilight!" Rainbow said still full of energy.
"W-wait, THATS him?"
"Yes Princess." A guard who was chasing me a second ago said. "I am 100% sure that THAT thing is the outlaw."
"Well if this is true, Rainbow Dash go get Applejack and Fluttershy."
"Anything you request of me to do Princess?" The guard asks.
"Yes if you could stay here while I go and get more friends that would be helpful."
"Yes Princess. Oh might I ask why you are doing this? I could just take him to Canterlot and be done with him."
"There are important questions I need to ask him... Thats all I should need to tell you." The pony that was obviously Twilight said with authority in her voice.
"Of course Princess."

The guard started to talk a little more with a buddy that shows up at some point but I started to fall asleep from the wait.

"... Ah.... So we finally can speak to each other... Hello, im your savior..." The voice says calmly.
"Savior? Savior from what?" I ask in confusion.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm your savior from you stupid decisions. Like jumping off of a cliff or making it so the animals dont eat you!"
"...Oh that..." I said realizing what he ment.
"Yes 'That.'" He said mocking me now. "Now if it wasn't obvious enough, you have been causing ALOT of chaos, and trust me, thats a good thing."

This was something I didn't quite get.

"Now why is causing chaos a good thing?"

The voice paused before saying. "I'll have to tell you more next time..." Was the last thing I heard before he faded away.

Waking up, The first thing I can see when is five faces that I loved and was frightened by at the same time. The next thing I noticed was that I was in Twilights Library... Tied to a chair... Go figure...

"Ah, I see he is awake. Now let me introduce my self. I am Twilight Sparkl-"

"Um sorry for being rude now darling but, you really should introduce yourself as PRINCESS Twilight Sparkle now. I mean it only makes sense that he should know you as royalty, don't you think?" Rarity said trying to help with Twilights intro.
"I guess, but I dont know if it really matters... I mean he's not even a pony for Celestias sake!"
"Well what ever the crit'r is, its still a outlaw to all of Equestria and we need to turn it in!" Applejack said clearly not happy about me being here.
"Yeah! Applejacks right! That thing could out run the royal guards! It has to be put behind bars!" Rainbow said.
"Well whatever it is, I'm sure he would be fun to work with!" Pinkie said not caring about how serious this really is.

It didn't take a genius to know that this was gonna be a LONG night....
Suddenly a clash of thunder was made outside making me almost jump out of my skin.
Rain soon started to hit the windows of the tree house.

It was obvious that this won't end good for me no matter what I say. So I chose to make a game of this situation. While at the same time, find a way to escape.

Looking out the window again I saw the rain was starting to pour onto the streets of Ponyville

'Well... Looks like I'm gonna have to get wet...

It took some time but the five girls finally started to ask me questions at some point. It started off simple like.

"Where did ya come from?" The apple farmer asked with curiosity.

"...Do you not know about the birds and the bees? I said sarcastically.

To (later on) stuff like.

"It has been almost an hour now, so as princess, I demand to know why you did all those things back at Canterlot and the Crystal Empire!" Twilight said starting to get angry.

"Because of my own stupidity, why else?" I answered somewhat honestly.

... Yes, even to stuff like this.

"What color is your underwear?" Pinkie Pie said magicly finding a new detective hat to wear.

"Is that a trick question?" I said with a grin.

And sadly no real progress was made that late afternoon. Speaking of late afternoon...

"Hey, do any of you have food? I haven't eaten in quite some time." I said with my stomach growling shortly after.

Twilight, who was starting to get tired of all this said. "If we feed you THEN will you talk?"

I can't really blame the her though. they have been doing this for a few hours and got almost no straight answers from me.

"Will I talk? Haven't I been doing that the whole time?" I said with a cocky grin on my face.

"Oh,oh, can I make the food, please? Pretty please?" Pinkie said while bouncing excitedly.

Twilight then took a deep breath to calm her nerves before saying. "Sure Pinkie, you can do that."

Pinkie then dashed to the kitchen right after to make who knows what, while the group sat there waiting and guarding me.

Looking at them I say.
"Hey, aren't you all the Elements of Harmony?" I say trying to make friendly conversation.

"Oh so you know us, huh?" Rainbow Dash said in such a way while trying to get into my face... Most likely trying to intimidate me... Something she was also doing bad at by the way.

"You might wanna start talking, or we MIGHT turn you to stone!" Dash said with a look on her face as if she was telling me a spooky story.

"Umm Rainbow, if he knows who we are, he most likely knows we can't do that unless he was a great evil." Rarity said, almost like she knew that I knew. "Besides, we don't even have the elements with us right now"

"Hey might I ask something though? Where is the last Element of Harmony?" I asked trying to figure out why Fluttershy wasn't here. "There IS six Elements right?

"Now why would we tell yah that?" Applejack said defensively.

"Umm... to make friendly conversation " I said while trying to make a innocent smile.

The four of them looked at eachother before Rainbow said.
"We DID ask her to come, but knowing your a animal, she rejected the invite saying something like. "not wanting to hurt a 'little friend.' or something like that."

"You want something to eat?" Pinkie said coming out of no where. She not only surprised me but surprised everyone else as well.
I was just expecting her to get a cupcake or somthing knowing her but no, She had a cart full of tasty pies, cakes and pastrys.

"Umm Pinkie?" Twilight said.

"Yeeeees?" Pinkie said in reply.

"Where did you get the baking supplies for all that?"

"From the fridge." Pinkie said as if nothing was weird about this situation at all.

Twilight was going to ask something else but I butt in saying.
"Hey, could you untie me so I can start to eat this?" hoping this plan would work.
"Sure" Pinkie replyed.

As she started to hop to me, everyone in the room tackles her while shouting "NO!"

After everyone regains there senses. Twilight starts with. "Why would you do that!?"
"Pinkie, darling, please don't ever do that again!" Rarity says while trying to catch her breath.

"But girls, how is he going to have the best meal EVER, if he is tied up like that?" Pinkie said somewhat confused.

"Well, I say we just feed him ourselfs" Applejack said as a suggestion.

I start to get a bit itchy with the rope on me, but I then get a idea and say."Oh...Umm... Hey can I use the bathroom?"

The group of friends all look to Twilight wondering wether they should allow it or not.
"Umm, no. You stay right here where we can see you." Twilight said not trusting me. However I raise an eyebrow at this saying.

"Geez, I get it now. You are all perverts who want to watch a rabbit pee his pants!"

At saying this everyone in the room had a blush on there face, some bigger then others
"Well whats next!? I have to have all of my clothes taken off so you can see it to!?

"Uhm Twilight." Applejack says "I think we should take him to the bathroom."
Twilight gives a quick cough before saying. "I feel like I should agree now."

Twilight starts to use her magic to levitate the chair im sitting in and carrys it over to a small room with a toilet and sink and window..
"Dont get any ideas" Twilight says as she unties my ropes and then closing the door.

"Heh they are so shite at this interrogation thing." I say with a smirk. I start to try to open the window but notice there is a purple glow around it.
'Damn not getting out from here.' I think to myelf.

I start to give a quick look around the room, but there was not much to look at other then a brick for a door stop...
'Oh... I got another plan.'

Back with the five friends, there was a quick discussion on what to do.

"Twilight we should really just send him off to Canterlot. I mean there is not much more we can do." Rarity says trying to convince Twilight to end the interrogation.

"Yeah, you hear some of the storys on how he escaped your brother. I mean, he won't escape while im here, but we really need to do something now." Rainbow Dash adds.

"Yes,yes, I know, but don't you think its a bit odd that we never seen anything like him before? I mean we have seen a LOT of things happen, but this is a new one." Twilight said trying to figure me out.
"And not only that, he knows about the Elements of Harmony! No regular rabbit could find info like that on the streets or road!"

Before they could say anything else. They hear a loud sound of glass breaking in the bathroom. At this all the ponys quickly run and open the bathroom door just to find a broken window and a missing rabbit.

"W-wait I thought I made it so he couldn't open the window!" Twilight said quickly.
"But he broke it Didn't he?" Pinkie said looking at all the glass on the ground.
"No no no no no no!" Twilight said starting to panic.
"Everypony, we need to go find him NOW!" Twilight practically yelled.

Rainbow Dash gave a quick salute before she sped out the window in the rain trying to find me, while the rest ran back to the front door to leave.

After they all left though, the supplies cabinet to under the sink opens up with a rabbit climbing out of it saying "And you think they would learn that im smarter then the average rabbit." I say with a grin on my face.

The rain outside however, became alot louder now that the window is broken making me lose my grin knowing that I would have to leave now. However something I wasn't expecting was the door to open again revealing a dragon with a broom in hand looking at me like he encountered a monster.

"..."
"..."

The silence made this more awkward then ever. if he screamed EVERYONE would come back and catch me.

"Um... Hi."

without even saying anything, Spike turned around and ran for the door screaming the whole way.

"Cripe." I said before I dove out he window to hide.

I felt somewhat chilled when I ran out in the rain, but I was to the point of freezing my butt off after tripped not even five seconds later.

It took me a second to get up and get my bearings but after I did, I heard.

"TWILIGHT, THE THING WAS STILL IN THE BATHROOM! THE THING WAS STILL IN THE BATHROOM!" I could hear a boyish voice yell.

"Ah crap!" I say as I start to sprint to the edge of town.
The rain made it hard to see where I was going but if its like that for me it should be like that for everyone else.

Of coarse something I wasn't expecting was a HUGE purple shield spell of some sort to engulf the whole town.

The raindrops stopped falling in the town and hit the shield spell instead, making it easy to see again.
I stopped in my tracks to look at the spell trying to figure out where I have seen it before.

"A giant spell that can keep things that aren't ponys in and out... This is the same spell that was used to keep the Changelings out at the Canterlot wedding." I said the last part somewhat scared.

I turn around to look at the library and see Rainbow Dash looking right at me.
"There he is!" I hear Rainbow Dash callout. And right after she calls me out I see lightning strike the top of the sheild as well as her starting to fly straight to me.

I wanted to run but that would be pointless with Rainbow already chasing me, and the shield would prevent me from leaving town.

I soon saw Applejack and Twilight running around the corner heading straight at me aswell.

"Well... I hope they dont hate me after this."

Well... At least I didn't break anything.

I was standing there looking at Rainbow Dash charge at me, waiting for the right time to make my move.

Although I knew that any chance I had to becoming friends with them was gone, I was still hesitate to do what I was about to do.

I placed one foot in front of the other and made my right hand a fist.

I could feel sweat coming down my eyebrow. I could even see the smirk of Rainbow Dash knowing she was going to catch me... It all felt like a somewhat cliche slow motion moment that was there to help me.
But not the same type of slow motion you would read in a story, it felt like... Time REALLY DID slow down.

But right before Rainbow Dash came right at me, I closed my eyes and tried to do a uppercut to try to hit her, all while
hoping for the best at the same time.

I could feel the hit connect, I didn't know at the time where it connected, but I did know I hit her.

The punch I gave Rainbow Dash was honestly not much, but it was strong enough to make her fly off course to the point where instead of tackling me, all she could do is a body check me.
After she went past me, she crashed into the ground hurt and dazzed. It didn't look like she was going to get up any time soon.

However I didn't have time to celebrate, Twilight and Applejack were sprinting right at me.
So I did the first thing that came to mind.

'RUN LIKE HELL, RUN LIKE HELL, RUN LIKE HELL!'

What? Did you expect something else? I wasn't about to hit the ponys that I came to Ponyville to see.

So I whiped around and ran as fast as my smaller then average legs could go.

First I ran down the street and took a turn into a ally, I was trying to run in between the buildings as much as I could before I would go for the road again.

After doing this a few times, I was able to lose Twilight but Applejack was still right behind me in a sprint.

At some point I could hear her distinctly say. "Is that all you have to do you little varmint? I chased down squirrels faster then you!"
I honestly couldn't really tell whether that was to intimidate me or not but I was kinda scared before hand anyway.

But after diving into another alley, I ran into a dead end with a 9, maybe 10ft wall blocking my path. However, I already knew a way to climb up.

So I stopped in my tracks and stopped to slowly turn around and look at Applejack.

"Well now, do ya want to do this the easy way or hard way?" Applejack she said stomping her whooves together as if she knew the answer.
I make a smile in response saying. "I think you know the answer, Applejack." I say with a cocky grin on my face.

She then takes a quick spit off to the side before charging in to take a swipe at me with her forewhooves.

However I take a nice jump on her head and then use it to gain leverage to reach the top and climb over.

I then call out from the other side of the wall saying. "Its a shame you even thought you had a chance!" I yelled out before I started to run away.

After running down a few more blocks I take a quick look around and then hide in a trash can to give myself a rest.

Taking a quick sigh of relaf saying. "I can finally catch my breath now."
"Are you sure?" A carefree voice said.
Its right then a chill go's up my spine making me freeze in place, but I am quickly able to regain composure when I figure out who it is.
"Um hi Pinkie." I say somewhat nervous.
"*GASP* YOU REMEMBER MY NAME! Oh you could make the bestist best friend that I would ever make friends with! Oh well not counting Twil-"I am able to catch before I jog away to hide somewhere else. Or would it be considerd Yoging?.. Im pretty sure the J would be silent, but thats besides the point.

I quickly dive into another ally and wait there listening for foot steps... Well I say foot steps but, well... You know what I mean!

After sitting there for a quick second listening, I get punched in the face with the hoof of a guard, knocking me on my butt and making me lose focus.

I quickly shake off the feeling lay myself down and roll away from another punch, I then quickly roll under him and give the asshole a swift kick in the chin.
He quickly jumps away from me a draws out a spear with is teeth and lunges at me.

I do another quick roll and try to climb to my feet, however when I do, he stabs through the side of my leg.
Not to the point where its serious, but to the point where I almost fall over in pain.

He then pulls the spear back and then go's in for a stab in the middle of my chest, but I grab the handle part and plant my good foot on his chest at the same time so I can try to push him away.

But a big problem with this plan is that the guard is a lot stronger then me. And its to the point the spear head is just ever so slowly coming in to my chest.

I was at the point of giving up and letting my tired body rest.
before I do that though I look at his face just to see him grining at me the whole time.

Its then a magic spell that seemingly comes out of nowhere, shoots a brick and smashes into him in the side of the face.

Its safe to say I didn't waste time on this opening and pushed the spear to side and kicked him in the face as hard as I could, punched him on the other side. Its then I take his helmet off real quick and hit him over the head with said helmet, effectively knocking him on the ground.

its then I jump on his back and the grab his neck and put him into a choke hold. However, he climbs to his feet quickly and trys to slam me into a wall multiple times to knock me off.
But thankfully he trips at some point giving me the ability to also cover his mouth and nose.

At this point he can't really move to much before he slowly falls to sleep.

After holding his face for a few extra seconds, I let go and check his pulse... He thankfully was gonna live another day.

So on instinct I grab the wound on my leg and then look around trying to find where the brick came from.
Its then a voice says.

"Hah are you really that blind to not see the one, and only, Great and Powerful Trixie!?" I hear a voice behind me boast. Turning around I still couldn't see her.
"*SIGH* Fine The Great and Powerful Trixie shall become visible again." I hear her say right in front of me.

Its just like that the blue unicorn reveals herself to me, sporting her usual cape and wizard hat.

"Trixie! What are you doing here!.. And why do you have a cloaking spell?" I say as I sit on the floor trying to take advantage of the situation to nurse my wound and get some rest.

"Well I, The Great and Powerful Trixie, umm... Well, Trixie got a little bit worried about her trusty companion, and wanted to check on him." She said, starting the line with pride that slowly went to worry.
"Well its a good thing that you came, I would probably be gone by now if it weren't for you." I say with a friendly smile.

*Crunch*

My ears perk up at this noise, and I quickly remind myself of the situation im in. Its then I say. "Crap, I need to move now." I told Trixie. "Could you like, do that cloaking spell on me please?" I quickly ask Trixie
In response she gets a grin on her face before saying "Ha, Thats easy loyal companion. Watch as I, The-"
"Listen, Not to be rude or anything but could we hurry this up please?" I say interupting her.
Its then I whisper. "I don't think we're alone."

Without even responding, she casts the spell only for it to not work.
Trixie not expecting this said. "W-what!? But thats the same spell that Trixie casted on herself!" She tried again only for the same thing to happen. Then again Then again. All ending with the same result.

I then say "You know what? Just forget it, if it won't work now, then we can just try again later. But now we REALLY need to get going so follow me!"
"Hmph, Trixie normally won't take orders from those that are less superior then her, but given the current situation you... We are in, I guess Trixie will allow this."
Its then shortly after we run away from the area.

After we left though. A worried voice said. "Oh Trixie, when will you ever learn?"

Trixie and I Joged to the edge of town, to see if there was a way through the sheild. Thankfully though, it didn't take long thanks to the pursuit earlier.

To fast forward a bit, Trixie tried to cancel it out. Teleport us both out, (She could teleport herself out but it wouldn't work on me.) She even tried to use spells to break it open but the results was obvious at this point.

The rain outside the portal was starting to clear up, showing us the morning suns beauty. It reminded me of the time when me and my parents went to Florida and drove to the beach before sunrise.

"HEY!" A tomboyish voice yelled, snaping me out of my thoughts.
Its then another chill goes up my spine upon hearing her. I turn around to see Rainbow Dash in the distance with a clearly bruised cheek.

"No pony just knocks out Rainbow Dash, the best flier in Ponyville and gets away with it!" Rainbow practically screams at me in the distance.
"Can't we atleast talk about this?" I say, knowing that I probably won't be able to pull the same stunt twice.

Not even responding, Rainbow Dash starts to fly to me at high speeds.
I quickly look over to Trixie to only see her smiling at me with a evil looking grin.

"You have a plan, don't you?" I say, Starting to feel even more worried.
"Oh yeah." She says without losing her smile.

I then start to look away from Trixie to watch Rainbow Dash almost fly into me. However, I feel Trixie grab me a shove me into the shield.
Only instead of hitting it, I just pass right through it!

I then fall on my back not expecting that to happen. Its then I notice is that I feel a lot wetter... And that the air felt cooler.

Its then I hear the sound of something smashing into a glass window.
Looking up, I get to see a good view of Rainbow Dash stuck onto the magic wall in front of me.
Trixie then teleports in front of me saying. "Is Trixie a genius or what?"

I smile in response saying. "you know, you really are one Trixie. Sure I doubted you for a second, but you really are."
She gives a scoff before saying. "It seems then That Carter the Rabbit needs better judgement skills." She says before giving a quick single. "Ha!"

Looking at Rainbow Dash again I see she is now trying to break the shield to get to us.
After watching this for a little bit, I say. "We should probably hide somewhere for awhile."

Immediately Trixie says. "How about Everfree Forest? Im sure no sain pony will follow us there."
I cringed in responce saying. "You sure? I hear that place in dangerous."
Trixie then said in reply "Pttth. Everpony just says that because of some stupid storys, we'll be fine."

'Yeah, thats not what everyone says in a fanfic before they get killed. Nope not at all.' The sarcastic yet wise voice in my head said. But I didn't have any better ideas.
So I told Trixie.

"Well... What could possibly go wrong?"

Well... My leg feels better I guess.

Me and "The Great and Powerful" Third Person walked up to the forest thats in every other fanfic, known as Everfree Forest.
Can't say I'm too excited about exploring this S.O.B. But me and Trixie REALLY could use somewhere to hide out from the Main Six...Five.

After walking for about a minute. I saw the shield around Ponyville start to disappear. It began to break off like shards of glass until it was gone completely. And I have to say, it looked really pretty disappearing the way it did. But as amazing as it was, it didn't stop us from being in the middle of the field between Ponyville and the Everfree forest.

After watching the shield break for a little bit, I told Trixie.
"Ok, we really need to pick up the pace!" I then preceded to start running to get to the forest faster. But sadly stupid ol' Me forgot I just got my leg injured not so long ago. Which caused me to trip and be in even MORE pain. I then got on to a sitting position and grabbed hold of my wound before saying.

"You wouldn't happen to have medical supplies that could patch up my leg now, would you? I tried to say without sounding like I was in pain.
"Umm... Trixie hates being the bearer of bad news but..."
I then take a deep sigh before saying. "Trixie... First off, im pretty sure you don't really care about 'being the bearer of bad news.' Ok? And second. What the heck DID you bring with you? You had a whole trailer that im pretty sure would be full of supplies! Why would you not take anything!?" I said almost like I was going to kill her.
But after saying that I quickly give a, "Sorry."

"Do you really take Trixie for a fool, Carter the Rabbit?" Trixie said in response. "She DID take the trailer with... Its just on the other side of town..." Its at this I facepalm myself. I highy doubt we would have the time to go get it so that wouldn't help...

Its then not even a few seconds after that statement that we see a rainbow fly high in the sky from Ponyville.

"Carter."

I then turn to Trixie seeing her look at me saying. " Climb on Trixie's back. Trixie is sure that she can get us both in the forest quickly."

Its safe to say that I didn't hesitate on the offer, so I jumped on her back as she ran to the forest. Thankfully we immediately were able to get to the entry of the Everfree and get Rainbow off our tails... Do I have a tail?... I never took my pants off to look... Gah! I'm getting off track here.

After riding Trixie for a few more minutes, I was told by her to get off and keep a look for plants that could hopefully help us. I did a salute in response to this of course, which caused her to roll her eyes.

But I was starting to get a little antsy in the pantsy to let the stallions out of the stable, after all. I knew that me and Trixie would get attacked by some sort of monster, but with a big selection of monsters from a fantasy book. I was starting to get nervous with not knowing what to expect.

At some point though me and Trixie find some blue flowers that looked somewhat familiar.

"Hey Trixie. Would these make good medicine?" I asked as I started to walk to them.
"Oh no. Do, try not to get close to the stuff. It could make something dreadful happen."
"Oh? And why is that? "Oh Great and Powerful" Trixie?" I said to poke fun at her.
"That plant is called "Poison Joke." It could make what ever you are good at, or what ever you take pride in, be reversed just by touching them!" She said getting annoyed.
"...So... Would it make you talk in first person... First pony?" I could see Trixies face start to get red with anger after I say this.
"Go ahead and keep trying your luck Rabbit. After all, Trixie is the one who is currently protecting you."
"Ok, ok, fine! I'll stop... Just trying to lighten the mood is all." Its then I take a deep and sigh in frustration before muttering to myself.

After a few minutes of exploring the area for plants, I hear the sound of a door closing.
Looking at all the Poison Joke again, I then think of something.
'Isn't there a Poison Joke bed close to Zecora's?'
It would be helpful to see if she could help me out here with the wound on my leg. After all, I then could help Trixie more if we do find something that could kill us.

"Hey Trixie, I think I just heard something past the Poison Joke."
Trixie who was oblivious to the lie said. "Really? What kind of moster do you think it is?" She said as she got her magic ready.
"No... It not a kind of monster... I think it might be a pony." I said to try to calm her down.
"A kind of pony?" Trixie repeated while lowering her magic. "But Trixie is sure that they couldn't get this far so quickly!"
"I think it might be somepony else though." I say as I walk away from Trixie and start limping to where Zecora's hut might be.

Trixie started follow while saying stuff like. "This is stupid" and "how we could get caught" but I just ignored it all knowing that it could be fine.
My guess was correct though as Zecora's hut came into view.

After sneaking, (and by sneaking I mean limping) to a window to see if she was there. Trixie soon after came up next to me and said. "What are you doing? We don't even know if she is friendly or not!" She said trying to talk reason with me.
I then raise my invisible eyebrow to her saying. "I know living in a forest on your own is kinda wired and creepy, but she COULD be a nice pony."
"Yeah... But to Trixie, she looks like the type that would cook you AND Trixie in a stew."
"Just please... Do this for me... You know, the injured friend in need here." I ended with an attempt at puppy eyes, I couldn't really tell whether they worked or not in all honesty.

After a few seconds of consideration, Trixie gave a sigh in defeat saying. "Well, like you said before... What could possibility go wrong? She ended with a halfhearted smile.
I obviously smile in return before telling her. "Heh, you were right when you said that "I was rubbing off on you.""
"Well, Trixie wouldn't lie now, would she?" I gotta say though, I didn't think she would be convinced so quickly.
"Oh and just so Trixie is clear. If anything is to go wrong, its your fault."

Ok, well its better then nothing.

Me and Trixie both give ourselves a quick second before we open the door and walk into Zecora's hut. As we walk in we see a surprised and yet annoyed zebra looking at us before saying.
"Who go's there? Because I don't remember inviting a rabbit and a blue mare."
It's then Trixie says. "It is I, The Great and Powerful Trixie and her assistant Carter the Rabbit that are here, visting. And we need your help."
Zocora then looked at Trixie with a stern face saying. "You... You are the one who locked Ponyville in a jar. Do you not know where you are?" Zecora said with anger.
"Should Trixie dare even ask?" She said not really caring.

At this rate, I'm gonna have to butt in so we dont get kicked out of the place.

It's here I clear my throat before saying. "Uhh, Trixie? Do you REALLY not remember the zebra that helped Twilight when you had the Alicorn Amulet?"
Its then Trixie gives me a peculiar look before going wide eyed. She then looked at Zecora again saying. "Oh... Right, I. The Great and Powerful Trixie do remember a pony of the description... Or should Trixie say zebra?." She ended the sentence with a nervous smile.

Zecora however seems to have stopped paying attention to Trixie as she turns to me with a surprised expression saying.
"My, I never would have thought, that something like you could talk. Now please, be a dear and tell me why you are here." Zecora said completely ignoring Trixie.

I then give myself a brief pause to register what she said before saying.
"Well long story short... I have done some rash things that made the ponys mad, so me and my friend Trixie are here in the forest to hide from them." I say trying to leave details out so I can change the subject.
"Should I be-"
"Carter hasn't done anything that should have real lasting impact on the ponys." Trixie said cutting her off. "
And yes Trixie did know what you where going to ask." Trixie was able to say continued completely full of herself, despite being nervous only a few seconds ago.
"Hmph, cutting me off from a rhyme, should be a crime." Zecora said not to happy with Trixie.

However while Trixie was talking, It was then I took notice of some of the potions she has on a high up shelf. The bottles had something written on them, but it was in a language I couldn't understand. I decided that I would use this to help change the subject.

I asked Zecora then. "What are those potions up there?" I said pointing right after.
"A few remedy's if you must know. But also some poisons, but just for show." She ended with some pride.
"Would it be ok if you would heal my leg? it seriously hurts, I beg!"
"My mind tells me it is wrong, to help a criminal get along."
Upon hearing this, my ears drooped behind my head a little more then normal.

"But... My heart tells me that it is ok, to help a little friend that is in need of aid."

I was surprised at what she said here, and replyed saying. "You... Consider me a friend?"

Zecora gave a quiet chuckle before saying. " Would you rather have me consider you a foe? Because I could make it so." Zecora finished with a half smile on her face. She then began to clear off a table that had potion supplies before saying.
"Now you cute little furry guy, lets start so you can go and hide." You could say that I was starting to get creeped out, but I couldn't let this opportunity to get my leg fixed up pass by!

So I then got on the table and layed down so we could start. However, nerves were starting to get to me which led me to say. "This wont hurt... Right?"

"Seriously?" Trixie said unimpressed.

"Oh, you might want to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. or else this tonic might get everywhere."

"Oh Christ" I said preparing for the worst.

Its then both a cry of pain escaped my lips and tears leave my eyes from the potion hitting my leg.

Its then everything goes black and I lose consciousness...

"And thus... You return..." My 'saviour' said to me.

"So you said last time that causing chaos is a good thing... Why?"

"Well its to keep the guards off of me." Mr. Savior said nonchalantly. I however, chose not to respond to this answer.

"It will make us good partners. You just keep doing whatever your doing. And I will just keep saving you... Discreetly of coarse."

"... Are you Discord?" I say quite bluntly.

"No... Trust me, I WOULD like to be Discord. But that is not the case. And sadly I dont plan on telling you who I am... Yet." I was somewhat disappointed when I heard this. You would think that saying chaos would be a dead give away but... I guess I was wrong.

"Ok, you're starting to wake up so I guess we will have to talk next time."

I woke up with a headache and... Not at Zecora's place. I found this to be kinda weird but I didn't really question it because I was alone in a cave.
The first thing I did before getting up was to check my leg that was injured before. The potion was a success thankfully but that just made me ask another question... How long was I out?

I took a quick look around the cave I was in and found nothing really weird. The only thing worth saying is that it was nice, roomy, and had two piles of leafs that I would bet where being used for beds. After feeling like I got a good look at the area I left the cave to see where I was.

Upon exiting the cave, the first thing I saw was a amazing looking lake that was (only from what I could tell) a few yards away. That and a small clearing to the left from the entrance to the cave.

But something was not right. My ears perked up and I could hear someone say.

"Don't worry Cover Art, Trixie can get us out of this situation." "Ahh watchout! I see Chockatrice, be careful Trixie!" "Ugh... Trixie can't do this for much longer now..."

When I heard the word "Chockatrice" I was already running. But I broke into a sprint upon hearing a really loud lion rowr in the distance. "Dangit Trixie, what did you get yourself into!?" I said as my breathing was starting to become quicker and more panicked.

Upon getting closer I heard from what I could tell, was a little filly yelling "TRIXIE HEEELP!"

I burst through some foliage just to see a small clearing with Trixie stuck under a fallen tree and a mantacore only a few steps away from having lunch.
But alternatively, I see a small filly I have never seen before off to the side with some tears in her eyes as she is looking down at a chockatrice thats turning her to stone!

It felt like time had slowed down at this point... I had to make a choice between trying to save my partner and friend Trixie, from a manticore. Or try to save a little filly about a yard away from where Trixie is. From a chockatrice that was already halfway done turning her to stone. There was no doubt in my mind that Trixie was trying to protect her earlier.

Well... It looks like I'm not gonna be able to save both.

Well... It finally happend.

The situation is intense, I didn't even have time to think here. But I was gonna have to make a choice... Even if I wouldn't be to proud of it.

In reality I only stood still for only a second... Give or take, to make my choice. My heart was sad knowing that I was probably going to get a child killed... But I couldn't leave Trixie to a terrible fate of being eaten by a mantacore while stuck under a tree!

I ran to the manticore quickly. Its obvious that I'm a fast runner, but even with my above average speed, he was still almost able to get a bite out of her.

"C-come get some, you big s-son-of-a-bitch!" I yelled full of vigor. Its about after this point that I realized that I would do just about anything to save a close friend.
'She better be grateful for what I would do for her.' Nope, still somewhat of a asshole.

I jump on its back and start pulling on the hair thats around its neck. Me doing that was more of an annoyance if anything. But it got his attention away from Trixie and thats all I really needed.
Its then I yell.

"Trixie! You're gonna need to use a teleportation spell!" I yell with urgency in my voice.
"Trixie is magicly drained... Right now... She couldn't do anything useful if she tried." She then followed it up by saying "Just save little Cover instead."

Taking a quick look over to where the filly is. I see her completely turned to stone with no chockatrice to be found.
'I guess its a little late for that...' But at the risk of sounding like a dick. I didn't really have the time to be sad while riding a manticore.

After a quick snort in frustration, the manticore rolls on his back to try and squish me like a pancake. But I was able to jump off thankfully and avoid meeting such a terrible fate.

But now that he is face to face with me, I'm gonna start to have a hard time with knocking him out.
In an attempt to intimidate me, the guy starts to use a really loud roar that could make anyone piss their pants... It's a good thing I don't ever have to pee in this world... I think.

The Manticore then jumps to take a swipe at me with his giant lion claws. But I take a quick jump to the side to avoid them.
I never got a careful look at them, but you can only assume that those claws could rip me into shreds of paper.
He then uses his bat wings to briefly fly in the air to get a quick boost in his next jump to get me.

Not expecting this, I dive off to the side in hopes of not getting hurt but that's not the case.
I get scratched with three claw marks in a horizontal line across my chest, The pain was horrible, I was having a hard time standing on my feet at this point and could see my vision start to cloud.

All I could do was remain where I was whille knowing that I failed to save two ponys at the same time.

The Manticore walked up to me as he was ready to pounce on his pray. I could see in his eyes that this beast was having a good day... And boy did that piss me off.
But no matter what happend, I knew that I wouldn't be able to do anything to help the horrible situation. So I closed my eyes knowing that this was a fight that I couldn't win...

Part of me had accepted the loss...

What I wasn't expecting though was the chockatrice to return with his ugly face and to start staring down the manticore.
And to think. What was only seconds ago, I was going to be lunch for a lion/scorpion.
I was saved by a staring contest.

The manticore however was not gonna go down that easy. He was able to fight back the chockatrice by using his eardrum bursting roar and his long reaching scorpion tail.
However the chockatrice was able to back up far enough to render him nearly useless. The tables have turned and I was able to slowly crawl away from the fight.

"Man if you weren't an ugly abomination, I would kiss you right now!" I say to the chockatrice, feeling happier then ever.

The mantacore gave one last rowr before becoming completely turned into stone. Leaving the clearing with a deafening silence.

The chockatrice then turned to me with his big red eyes staring me down. I was scared at first but... all I got was a little headache.
"Although I am thankful for you saving me. I can't allow you to turn me to stone." I say brushing him off to the side.

After doing that. He then stops staring to then scurry off into the forest. I then hear Trixie say in a raspy voice say. "Carter, Come over here." She says before clearing her throat soon after.

After a somewhat slow crawl across some of the clearing, I reach Trixie to then hear her say in a tired tone. "Carter, There should be some sort of tonic in Trixies saddle bag; Zecora gave us some just in case."

Even though she was still stuck under the tree, I was able to open the bag from where she was and was able to get the potion... Mostly intact. The glass broke near the top and most of it was spilled. But there was still some left in what remained of the vile

Taking whats left of the cure, I drink the potion carefully to make sure I don't swollow any glass.
Although the cuts were still on my chest, I felt some strength come back to me.

Taking a sigh in relief, I tell Trixie. "Thanks, you saved my life."
"Funny how things turned out." She responds in a monotone voice.

After a few awkward seconds, I say. "Need help getting out from under that tree?"
"No" She replies quickly. She then follows it up by saying. "Although Trixie is grateful that you saved her. You really should have saved the little filly."
"Ok, I'm sorry! But helping you was my first instinct!" I say to defend myself.
"But you could have done something like... Take the Chockatrice and use it on the Manticore from the start!" She counters.

I then stand up and point over to the stone mantacore saying. "But I wouldn't have had time to do that from where I was anyway! The chockatrice and manticore where to far apart for that to work!" I say trying to find an excuse at this point. The truth is that I didn't actually know if that was the case, I just wanted an out.

I can see Trixie get an annoyed expression before opening her mouth to say something... But instead remain silent.
Her face then go's from annoyance to sadness. She then opened her mouth getting ready to say something.
Seeing this. I then start calm myself down about the small argument we had, and get ready to listen to what Trixie was going to tell me.

"Carter... Trixie isn't one for apologies, but... She is sorry..."

I couldn't help but feel confused about this. I may be somewhat new to this world, but I know that Trixie wouldn't apologize that quickly.

"She found a family is some clearing. Although Trixie didn't get too close. She knows the father was a brown Earth Pony. And that the mother was a Unicorn with a white coat and red mane. These colors are super easy to make out in a forest if you ask Trixie"

I couldn't help but feel deja vu when Trixie described the parents, but I shook it off to continue listening.

"But anyway, While Trixie was carrying you, she walked up to the family and saw that they where in panic. Their little filly that's now turned to stone, was infected with poison from a Manticore. So Trixie being the hero that she is, gave some of the potion she gave you, to the filly."

At this point I could tell Trixie was getting choked up about something.

"Its over here! We got them now!

"Crap! Those guards love killing the moment, don't they?" I say looking over in the general direction that the guards would be.
I then turn to Trixie and calmly say. "We're gonna need to leave soon you know."
"Trixie will just teleport back to the cave. But she needs to tell you that the parents asked Trixie to take the filly back to Ponyville so that she would be safe!" She said serously.
It was obvious that Trixie was skiping over details since she didn't tell me that she talked to them, but I say nothing trying to figure out where she was going with this.

Trixie thinks for a second before saying. "She messed up a lot in the past. She wanted nothing more then to have ponies enjoy being around her... But no matter what she does. She can't help but feel discouraged by her past actions. Like she couldn't do anything good that would have a lasting effect."

I couldn't help but ask. "What happend back then that makes you think this?"

But before she could answer, she suddenly gasps before I get grabbed from behind with a pony saying out loud.
"I don't care what they say about me after this." He then whispers into my ear saying. "Lets see how you like it!" Before another guard walks up and puts a rag over my face trying to sufficate me.

But before everything blacked out again. a magical laser gets shot at both guards, allowing me to escape and breath again.
The guards then started to approach her, but before they got to close, Trixie uses the last of her magic to teleport away. Leaving me to the two guards.

"Just leave this to me! I have a personal gripe with him!" The guard who was holding me said. The other one that was using the rag said. "Hey! At least let me hit him a few times then! The thing hit me with a hammer! I should be able to have fun too!"

I begin to get goosebumps upon hearing this. Taking a closer look at the guards, I figured out that the first one was the same guy that I choked out in Ponyville. And the ex-rag user was the same pegasus I used to escape Canterlot with. Not to mention the same one I got my bow from... That I don't have anymore.

Not taking any chances, I slip from the first ones grasp and throw a quick smack across the face of the pegasus before getting knocked down by a punch of their own.
But for a split second, and a split second only. I saw green flames appear where I hit him.

Completely shocked, I stop to say "That didn't happen when I hit you with the hammer."
His eye then turned green when looking at me before saying. "You never even knew." I get punched in the nose immediately after, leaving me dazed and helpless in the current situation.

But I knew more was coming.

When I looked up I saw two guards smiling at me ready to do more damage... But stopped when he heard a voice saying. "Soldiers! What do you think you're doing!?"
Behind them stood Shining Armor and a half a dozen soldiers behind him.
But before the pegasus guard turned around. His eyes turned back to their normal color.
"Sir! He assaulted us, so we took action!"
"Even so. You can't hit them while they're down! Thats not the way we're to act!" Shining Armor said scolding them.

I then speak up saying. "Shining Armor! They're Changlings! Dont fall for this trick!" I say trying to give him warning.

"I would doubt that." He replied. I watched these colts train for a long time. I think I would have figured it out by now."
He then follows up his words by saying "And besides. Your not exactly trust worthy enough for me to take seriously." He said keeping on a stern face the whole time.

He then barks out an order saying. "You two! Take him out out here and back to Ponyville. Me and the rest of the guys here need to track down your little unicorn friend." he says looking at me for the last part of the sentence.

I then get picked up and dragged across the forest floor by the two evil guards past Shining Armor and out of the clearing.

Looking at the asshole guards carrying me, I say. "How long have you guys gone without getting caught?"
The guards then looked at me confused. one then says."If your talking about that changling lie, then you'll be disappointed to know that we aren't changlings."
Green flames appeared earlier when I hit them. If they think Im gonna believe that, then they're stupider then they look.

But looking to the side I saw a familiar looking chockatrice.

I then laugh before saying. "I wasn't talking about the changling thing. I was talking about how long you guys have gone without being turned to stone." I then point over to the chockatrice to see both guards stupidly look over to where I was pointing.

What happend next was obvious as they began to turn to stone. Which in turn, gave me the ability to escape from their grasp. One of the stallions started to scream at the top of there lungs soon after this happend. Causing the whole group to run to my position and see me off.

I was just barely out running them while dodging foliage that was in the way.
I was able to hear one say. "Criminals can't run forever you know! Why don't you just give up!"
Although I didn't really have a reason to just give up, I knew I also didn't have a reason to NOT give up.

But just like always. I needed a plan.

Its roughly 20 seconds later that saw that lake that was near the cave and was going to make a last stand. I was wounded from the manticore earlier as well as a few other minor injurys... I needed to stop running.
I realized that if this was gonna end, I wanted it to end with a brawl against a bunch of guards...

And boy, did it end with a bang... quite literally too. I got hit it the head with a fairly heavy branch that one of the jerks picked up that just so happend to knocked me out... Or thats what they thought atleast.

After what was taking a look my "unconscious" body, I hear one of them say. "Looks like we got him yet again! Hey! Lets see about using that vine over there to tie him up." With a swift "Yes sir!" Right after.
I then hear the first voice say. "Well let's have a bigger group get him out of this stupid forest so we can send him to the princess."

I then felt a bunch of hooves 'grab' me. (I say grab loosely here because I still don't know how it's done.) And lift me up into the air. The only thing that went through my mind at the time was.

'Well... Looks like I won't be seeing Trixie for awhile.'

Well... Its time for a new strategy.

I felt kinda tired when I was being carried through the Everfree Forest. The guards when at first, where chatting up a storm, started to become more and more silent. Although I faked passing out, I felt that I might as we'll take a nap at his point. It's not like I was gonna learn anything valuable with them all being silent.

As I laid there attempting to sleep. I couldn't help but feel kinda nervous. How would Celestia treat me?
Would she make some excuse that I was just an animal and send me to somewhere far away?
Would she be the type of ruler to do some sort of exacution?
Or maybe put me in a dungeon cell just to rot?

In the show. Celestia always seemed to be caring to her subjects. But that never really told you whether she would act the same way to a wanted criminals or not.

And no, HUGE threats to Equestria don't count.

I needed another plan. A more longterm one that could give me a distinguishable goal.

'So what is Carter the Rabbits long term plan?'

That is a phrase that rang through my mind as I tried to think up an answer.
I had no real way to get back home easily.
No friends or ally's to turn to other then Trixie and Zocora, but both of which aren't really good long term options.
Nothing to help fix my broken body curtsey of a manticore.
And no obvious means to escape the guards (right now.)

Just perfect.

Even though the few guards were carrying me in a somewhat awkward position, I was still able to get myself comfortable to the point where I could take a nap... I saw no point in trying to struggle free given my current condition, so I just let myself go to sleep

My eyes shoot open and I awake from my slumber instantly when I land face first on a wood floor.
Getting up slowly, I turnaround and face the guards just to see them close a gate and walking away.
Taking a look around the area. I notices that im still in Ponyville for some reason. Of coarse, my question to 'Why I was in Ponyville' was answered when I saw that I was close to the library... In a cage with wheels.

The cage itself seemed kinda tough. With the exception of the wood floor of course, but breaking that would still require some effort that I'm sure my body would still be able to handle. Sadly though, the idea of breaking out of this thing with brute force in the middle of town didn't sound like a good idea. I was gonna have to wait for the right time before I tried anything.
With nothing left to do, I took a closer look at the environment to see if I could notice anything that could be worth my time.

Annoyingly enough though, I had to have a few "conversations" with the locals.
Although most of the ponies did walk by after only taking a quick glance. There were still some that chose to be more vocal about what they thought about me and what I had done.
Thankfully I tuned most of the rants out trying to ignore them. But I couldn't help but wonder. Why would the guards put me in a cage outside for the whole town to see? Where they trying to humiliate me? Or were they not expecting to leave me In Ponyville?

*grumble*

My thoughts where interrupted when my stomach started protesting. I haven't ate sense Trixies magic show... I couldn't help but feel somewhat confused at this thought. Its easly been a full day sense I last ate... And yet, Im just now feeling hungry.

"It seems we caught you again." I hear a well known princess say... For though who couldn't guess, here's a hint.
It's not Celestia or Luna.

Looking in the direction the voice came from, I saw Twilight and all of her other friends walk up to the cage, and by judging the looks on most of there faces, its safe to say that they did not like that fact that I'm still around... Much like last time.

Immediately grabbing my attention though, was that Fluttershy was with the group this time. However I chose to keep my mouth closed so I couldn't instantly screw up somehow...
That and I couldn't really think of anything to say at the time, so I waited for one of them to speak up and start the conversation.

"It seems like its all over for you." Twilight said calmly while keeping a straight face. However I remained silent.
"Took long enough." Rainbow says to herself.
In responce to this, I look over to her to see that she still had the bandage on her nose. Although it feels like alot happend sense last time. Its only been a few hours sense I punched her in the face.
"Sorry for hitting you by the way." I say directing the apology to Rainbow.

Her reaction to my apology was a annoyed huff before quietly saying. "I've been through worse."
I honestly wasn't surprised from this so I turned my attention back to Twilight, who seemed ready to ask a few more questions.

"What did you do to get Trixie to help?" She begins.

This was a question I really didn't know myself other then that "she wanted to help a friend." Or something like that.

"Honestly... I couldn't tell ya. She probably was helping out of pity. But it could be because of something else."
Twilight didn't really seem to happy about this answer, but I honestly couldn't give her a different reason without lying or speculating.

"Umm, did you get hurt?" I hear Fluttershy ask. Although I did see her walk up to the cage with her friends, I still didn't expect her to talk so suddenly.
"Well, uh, can you be more specific?" I ask carefully in an attempt to not tick any of the others off.
"Uh, did you get hurt when you were in the forest?"
Looking at the super noticeable cut and bloodstained parts of my clothes, I couldn't help but understand why she would ask this question.

"Nothing I won't recover from." I try to reasure Fluttershy.
She isn't swayed by the answer, but she knows that she wouldn't be able to do anything right now to help anyway.

Twilight then speaks up saying. "Don't worry Fluttershy, He doesn't seem to be in any pain right now. If his condition gets any worse, I'll call a doctor to help." She says trying to help Fluttershy not worry.

Both Fluttershy and I smile at this statement.

Even though this world has been mostly treating me like shit, Its nice to be reminded that all ponys aren't assholes.

However my stomach rumbles again, interupting my train of thought. The girls obviously noticed this and started 'whispering' to eachother. Sadly there whispering was as loud as there normal talking, and was easy to hear.

"So should we be the one's ta' feed it?"
"Um, he's technically a boy so he would be a he. Um but it's ok with me."
"But surely we can't leave it... Him to starve, can we?"
"No way! Just because he chose to escape before we fed him before. Doesn't mean we should bust our flanks just for the same thing to happen!"
"But Dashie! That would be mean! Besides, if we feed him we could then offer him to be friends!"

"Pinkie he's a criminal! So we really shouldn't be friends with him... But we should still give him something to eat before Princess Celestia sees him, he is still a living thing after all." I hear Twilight say while coming to a conclusion.

Upon hearing this, I say. "Wait, when are you guys gonna send me to Celestia?" I couldn't help but feel slightly panicked.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I like these ponys and WOULD love to be friends with them, but. This most likely won't be some friendly chat for how ever long they keep me...
Atleast I don't THINK it will be... Honestly, at this point. I don't know if I would be surprised or not.

"Don't worry. The Princess would love to see you." Twilight started.
"So much in fact, that she let us know ahead of time that she will be coming to Ponyville personally!" She says ending with a smile.

My eye's widen in response to this. Part of me was starting to become panicked. I didn't want to meet the princess like this! There was a good chance that she could be biased and throw me into the slammer!
... Or, maybe not... But to be fair Celestia is a hard pony to understand. But I would still like to meet her in better conditions then from a cage.

~RUMBLE~ When my stomach rumbled, I was able to use it as an excuse to change topics.

"...So... When do I eat?" I couldn't help but notice that I made Applejack facehoof at that question.

Fluttershy then speaks up saying. "Uhm, I know a salad that Angel loves to have on weekends." She says starting to get excited about feeding me. "I'll even get the cherry on top and everything!"

"Ooh,ooh!" Pinkie says while bouncing to get everyones attention.
"I could make him a fresh cupcake for dessert!" She starts. But her eye widen quickly before she speaks up saying.
"Or better yet, I could get him some of the new chocolate sheet cake that we're trying out in Sugercube Corner!"

Rainbow then cut into Pinkie's conversation with herself saying. "You DO know that you just need to get him lunch, not dessert. Right?"
"But you don't understand! If we don't give him amazing super-tasty snacks, then he'll find a way to escape and we'll have to follow him all over Ponyville again!" Pinkie says completely predicting whats gonna eventually happen.

Twilight smiles sincerely to Pinkie before saying. "Oh Pinkie, There is no way that could happen. And you know it!"

Well, Twilight did get that last part right, I'll give her that much.

"Anyways, Fluttershy. Would it be ok if you try to make that salad please?" Twilight says while asking nicely. "You can go ahead and use my kitchen if you want."
"Oh that would make things easier."

"Welp, if you girls are good with this whole feeding thing, then I guess I'll just head back to the farm to get some work done."
"Uhh, same. I think I have to do the weather anyway. Not that it would take long." Applejack and Rainbow dash say before taking off.

However there was hesitation on Raritys face before she said. "If you girls don't need my help then I guess I'll just head back to the boutique and finish up on some designs I've been making."
"It's ok Rarity, we should be fine... Unless you want you help Pinikie that is." When Rarity looks over to see Pinkie however, she was already gone.
"Well knowing her, she should be fine making few things on her own so I suppose that I should just head back. So see you later darling!" Rarity ends while giving a quick wave goodbye. Twilight quickly waves back before heading into the library with Fluttershy.

But after this whole exchange is done, a blue unicorn pony that is chained up, as well as a familiar statue of a filly that was being pulled in a cart. Were being brought up next to me.

After tossing who I would presume to be Trixie, in a cage. They park the cart off to the side closer to the library. Before standing guard by us.

Although I had a feeling they would get Trixie, I didn't think that they would bring the kid.

Looking over to Trixie, I see her have a surprised look that I looked back at her.

"I amazed they caught you so quickly."

After a brief pause she says. "Well, I can't help it sometimes, The stupid guards have gotten smarter over the years."
I can't help but raise an eyebrow at this statement.

"What exactly do you mean?"

"Back then, I used to be able to sneak past restricted areas with little to no problem! But it seems that they caught on with my act."

At this point I couldn't help but feel extremely suspicious about Trixie. Her telling me this almost completely contradicts some of her 'Amazing' story's she told me yesterday. Not to mention she was talking in First Person the whole time.

I was about to ask Trixie another question but a certain pink pony returned with a cart of goodies that made me remember how hungry I was.
"I hope you don't mind, but I kiiinda had to reuse the cart from earlier today. Not that it matters since I remade all of the food from last time!"
"Pinkie, I couldn't care less about how you serve me the food. I just wanna eat what I would I would think is good food."

"Umm do I get some?" Trixie asks feeling left out.

"Sure! I just need to figure out how to get this into the cage and we can all eat!"

I was instantly disappointed as Pinkie tried to push the food in without removing them from the plates.
I even looked over at Trixie as she facehoofed at this ridicules sight of a pink pony trying to stuff the plated food into a cage like it was some sort of mind numbing puzzle. She then grabs a cookie from the cart and just gives it to me before saying. "Here just have this for now."

I hate to be THAT guy but, the cookie wasn't all that amazing. I probably had way to high expectations but it really didn't matter anyway.

Eventually the Library door opens revealing Twilight and Fluttershy with a relatively big bowl of salad.

Before they say anything to us, one of the guards walk up to her saying.
"We have the other trouble maker in the cage; as well as a kid that most likely has been petrified by Chockatrice."

"Is this so... Well since we couldn't find the Chockatrice that did this, I could just have to use a spell to purify her.
Hey Fluttershy? Would it be ok if you told Spike to get some Purification and Restoration spell books?"
"Oh of course Twilight!" Fluttershy squeaks before heading back into the Library.

"But, until we get the book, I'll just have to pass some time asking some more questions." Twilight starts.
But before she goes to talk to Trixie she teleports the salad bowl into my hands.
"So... You wouldn't happen to have a fork would you?"
Pinkie who was stuffing cookies as well as other pastrys in my cage asked. "What's a fork?"
Twilight, who completely ignores me says. "So Trixie, why are you helping him? I mean. He IS an outlaw for Pete sake!"

"We all have our reasons... And I'm not gonna tell you mine!"
Both me and Twilight were actually surprised by this response.

I then speak up saying. "Trixie... Weren't you and Twilight friends at one point? Why would you say that?"

"What do you mean? Friends don't put other friends in cages! That is nothing but cruelty!"
"I'm sorry, but it's for your own good. I-"

"NO, don't say that 'it's for our own good' nonsense! That's what all guards say before you get locked in a dark dungeon for your whole life with no hope whatsoever left!" Trixie then sat down with a grunt of annoyance.

I was stunned, Trixie never told me she got locked up into a dungeon for her... Whole life? Wait, that's not right. I mean. Yes Trixie DID get put into a jail at some point in one of her story's, but... Not in a dungeon.

The whole area was silent. Fluttershy even came back from inside the Library with a book in hand... Hoof... Without making a noise.

After what I think was a minutes worth of no one talking and my quiet bites of salad and other sweets. Pinkie Pie breaks the tension by saying "Awkwaaard."

Twilight then started to charge up a spell with an angry expression on her face. "Wait Twilight stop! What are you doing!" Fluttershy says speaking up. "You don't have to do this!"
But before Fluttershy can stop Twilight, she shoots her lazer at Trixie completely engulfing her in purple magic.

As soon as the beam ends, Trixie is no longer in the cage, instead a Changling sits in her place.

"I had a feeling you weren't really her. It was almost way to obvious." She exclaims. Fluttershy and Pinkie however were shocked to see this.

I however wasn't really to surprised by this fact, there were a lot of contradictions in what she was saying earlier. But I still kinda felt bad for the guy.

Twilight then looks to me in the eyes before saying. "Are you involved with the changlings?"

"No." I said to keep it short and simple. "Or at least I don't think I was..."
I could see everyone carefully study my face while watching me with their eyes... Their huge eyes just staring at me... Why did I never notice how big their eye were before? It's so creepy.

After a short period of silence Twilight eventually says "Ok, I guess we'll have to trust you for now."

It was then another guard ran up to the group saying. "Princess! There is a blue magician pony that's damanding to see you!"

"Trixie!?" Twilight says in surprise.

I didn't quite get it, why would she come into Ponyville when it's still full of guards and completely dangerous?

"Fluttershy! Pinkie Pie! let's go!"
Everypony in the group nodded and began to follow the single guard back to where he came from while the others stayed back to watch us.

After the group left the sight the Changling start to snicker at them.

"What's so funny?" I ask not getting the joke

"That guard was a Changling that led them away so we could get out."

The guards who were protecting us however paid us no mind.

"How would you know?"

He then started to give me a look over before saying. "I could get us out if you promise us something."

The asshole completly ignored my question! My irritation showed, so he responded by saying.
"Ugh, I'll show you how you can figure out the difference between ponies and changlings if you make my promise."

I calm down at this offer and finally ask "What's your promise?"

He the gets closer to me from his cage before saying. "It's simple." Suddenly the guards turn around and start smiling at us. "It may not seem like it, but I'm one of the higher ups in our hive. And I can get us out of the situation."

"All I have to ask Mr. Carter, will you join us and help enclave the pony kind?"
My eyes widened at these words. This was crazy! I couldn't do this to them! Despite the fact that almost all the ponys have done nothing but hurt me. I need to remember that everything that got me here was still my fault.
"I did want to give you this offer earlier but, some of my soldiers I guess got rough with you. We changlings can hold grudges for quite a long time and they will be given the proper punishment so please forgive us for that at least."

"I-I don't know." I said with some stutter in my words.

"I'm sorry but you need to make a yes or no answer right now! They could come back anytime!"

I was honestly torn, if I refused I would probably be stuck in this cage unless I tried to escape again... But I don't really know where I would go from there...
But if I accepted, then I could be apart of the changlings and be accepted in their society.

...

"So? Yes or no?"

Well... I guess it's obvious what I have to pick.

All right, after a 'break' from writing this story. I decided to get this out before The Last of Us Grounded DLC comes out... Since I'll most Likely get distracted from that... That and I think I'm at that point where I can't find any more problems...

... But guys, I have a question...

Should Carter be a hero or villain? I have an idea on how to expand the story both ways but, I want the ultimate choice to be made by YOU AS A GROUP!

...No... I couldn't do it... Helping the bad guys take over Equestria was out of the question... It doesn't matter how much I pity the Changeling's for being locked up for their whole life in a cell. I couldn't just help them so they could switch the roles!

"No, I will not involve myself with your plan!"

"Involve your self? Trust me, you helped us more then you would even know."

I didn't know how I felt about what he said. He COULD be bullshitting... But I highly doubt it for some reason.

"What do you mean by that?"

Giving me a look over he just put a smile on his face before saying. "You'll reconsider in due time. Let's leave before any real guards come back. Oh, but before I forget." Without saying anything else, the Changeling guards use a spell on the lock to bust the Trixie impersonating Changeling out of the cage, and put a key in my cell while saying. "Just to make your life a little easier." Just before they all walk away.

I looked at the key examining it to see if it really was real before pocketing it. But when I looked back up, they were gone.

...

The area became silent as I started to think of what I should do next...

I could just leave Equestria... But that would leave me with nothing accomplished... I could also just embrace the fact that everyone hates me and just try to cause chaos...

But I then started to look over to the statue of the filly, the look in her eyes were full of fright. I kinda regret that I couldn't save her but... I couldn't really do anything other then try to find the Chockatrice. And that would be harder then finding a needle in a haystack at this point.

I do remember that Trixie would want me to find the parents for her but... What would I say? 'Sorry I chose not to save your daughter?'

The thought was starting to depress me, I mean; the mere idea of just being an asshole to innocent ponies just didn't really sit well with me in my stomach.

The area seemed abandoned in comparison to earlier. But I decided that I should stick around so I could rest for awhile longer. After all, if I leave now, who knows when I would get another chance to rest.

At some point though,Twilight comes back to my cage with a furious looking expression on her face.

"Where is the Changling!" Time to take a page from Applejacks book.

"The stallions you assigned to guard the cages were all underlings to break him out!"

"WHAT!" I see her face go from serious to complete shock from what I just said.
"This is more serious then what I originally thought! Stay here, I need to find a way to sort this out!" She said before running away.

... "Stay here?" Heh, funny.

Well I guess the only logical thing to do is stick around.

About a yard or two away, a group of guards march down the street.
"Ok, so the princess is gonna arrive shortly, so stay focused!"

...Alright, time to leave.

Standing up, my legs started to feel like Jello. Normally, I would blame all the running... But I would bet that the manticore would be the real reason.

Taking the key out of my pocket, I reach my hand out of the cage and unlock the door. When I hop out, I stumble a bit before regaining my balance.

I start walking around before I make my final choice on where to go...

I need to leave.

Being here is causing nothing more then trouble!

Besides... This whole Changeling thing would probably cause problems if I stay...

On that note, I dive into an ally and see if I can find the train station.

... I'm sorry, Trixie...

Believe it or not, I was able to get to the train station with no real issues.

Well, I'm a block away from the station still, but I can still safely say that I pretty much made it there.

Now it's just a matter of figuring out if there is a train that will go to the Crystal Empire...

... I was kinda hoping for some sort of convenient conductor to yell 'ALL ABOARD TO THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE!'
But that would just be way too easy.

"ALL ABOARD-"

Oh, wait! This might be it!

"-TO APPLEOOSA!"

...ugh, that's not gonna help me get to the mirror!

After the conductor made the call.
A bunch of guards appeared around the train and started to look over every inch.

"He's not here!"

"Just because he wasn't here this time, doesn't mean he won't show up! Just keep vigilant!"

I guess that train stunt I pulled has them watching these things a lot closer now...

"Well... I guess I'm walk-*BONK*

Remember this rhyme... And you'll have an easy path out...

Grabbing my head, I can't help but notice a bump on my head...
Just when I was gonna make some sort of stopping point too!

Looking around, I noticed that I was somewhere weird...
Like some sort of cave with a pond in it.

... It looked beautiful... There are mushrooms and other fungi that are glowing and keeping the cave nice and bright...

Something though, started to bother me... Although I could see an obvious path... It seemed blocked by a bolder of some kind.

I could try and push at it as hard as I would like, but I could only get it to slightly budge...

"I'm trapped. Figures..."

With nothing else to do. I start poking around the small area too see if I could find another way out. But all I could find were more glowing mushrooms...

"Out of all the places to randomly placed, It had to be underground!"

"A rabbit underground..."

Reality hit me like a bag of bricks...

"I'm a rabbit underground..."

This whole time!
I just now realized something!

"I've been playing the role as a 'Human in Equestria' this whole time...
But the fact is, I've been playing this game WRONG the whole time!
Sure I would make quips about being a 'fricken rabbit,' but I have never really taken advantage of BEING a 'fricken rabbit!'"

Sure I may not be as strong as a human, but I'm faster then one! I have better reflexes then one!
Heck, because that I'm now a CARTOON rabbit, I can take more hits then I could even be able to imagine as a human...

I'm better this way then I could ever be back then... And that's not even going into the details of how my senses are better!

Going over to the pond in the middle of the cave. I start to look at my reflection...

My creamy tan fur has defiantly gotten dirtier sense I last looked at it. But I noticed something about my eyes...
Not the fact that they still have brown spots around them. But the fact that my eyes are green.
They were never that color as a human.

Before I could question it though, my reflection started to move on his own! He started to pound at the surface of the water, like he wanted out...

It's safe to say that I was both scared and confused at this happening. Was I hallucinating? There are mushrooms everywhere, so it could be logical...

No wait, that made sense... Nothing would ever make sense if I was hallucinating...

Curling my hand into a fist, I start bashing at the water trying to break the surface. But no matter what I did, I just couldn't get through!

I closed my eyes trying to think of a solution on how to get the other me out of the water, but then a rhyme came to mind...

"And into her own reflection she stared, for she was yearning for one whose reflection she shared, and solemnly sweared not to be scared at the prospect of being doubly mared..."

I had spoke in a monotone voice the whole time, and I honestly don't know why...

But the other me smiled before rising out of the water and sitting down to look at me.

I felt like I was looking into a mirror...

!
Right! I need to get out of here so I can leave Equestria!

"Hey, do you know a way out?"

He seemed to tilt his head at this question.

And instead, started to dig down and make a little hole for himself to rest in.

The whole sight confused me. "Do you even understand me?"

He opened his eyes and looked at me.
"Well... Here we go." He replied.

"Why did you say that?" Okay, I think he understands me...

He then starts to tilt his head again before getting out of his small hole and going up the path.

I quickly follow him before he stops and looks at the boulder blocking the way...

"Well... Shit."

Well... At least that one made sense...

... Ok now I'm acting like him, I should probably not do that.

He starts to push the boulder only to get it to move a little bit.

I then quickly join him so we could try to double out efforts and move the rock!
Sadly though it's not enough... I take a huff before looking back at my look alike.
"You have any other idea?" He tiled his head in response.

"...why do I even ask?"

He in turn however starts digging into the wall. Him doing this almost immediately makes sunlight start to poke through! Without even saying anything else, I get next to him and start helping him by clawing past the dirt so we can get outside!

"Well... What could possibly go wrong?"

"Uhh, nothing at the moment... Like literally, almost nothing bad could happen." I tell my clone like friend...

He tilts his head before saying. "Well... I hope they don't hate me after this."

"Who will hate you?" We were walking down a path In a forest not even five minutes, and yet he was driving me crazy with his stupid way of talking.

"Can you stop sounding so nervous when you say Well? It sounds like you don't have confidence in yourself."

"Well... Here we go..." From the sounds of it, the clone was getting tired of me as well...

I guess Carter can only handle Carter for so long...

I started to smile at that thought.
'Out of context, that can sound so wrong.'

*gasp*
The other me gasps in surprise as he dives into a nearby bush.

"What are you doing?" There was no response... Instead, I hear someone else.

"Hah, I heard you!"

It feels like my heart stopped when I hear the sound of a guard in the distance.

"Don't be shy, we'll bring you to your unicorn friend if you come with us!" The same guard was trying to sound more innocent this time...

I don't know who he's trying to fool, but he ain't gonna get me.

...instead however, my clone jumped out of the bush and started to run towards the sound of the guard...

At first I wanted to stop him, but I immediately realized that this was a golden opportunity!

"Hah! Got you!" I heard the sounds of another being squirming, and trying to escape from some shirt of grasp.

"Maybe we should just throw you in the dungeon this time! Don't you agree?"

"Well... Shit..."

"Ha, thought so!"

Not even moving an inch, I listen to the guard take him away...

This might make getting to the Crystal Empire easier... If I play my cards right that is...

"Well... time to get out of here..."

Damnit... I need to stop doing that...

Well... At least things will get easier here.

"Great, I'm in a forest and I have zero clue on where I am right now."

Its been about 20 minutes since my clone got taken away by the guard, and I can safely say that I got lost while following the trail...

I could probably climb a tree to see if I can find Ponyville. But I'm sure a fall like that would break my neck...

...Wait... Didn't I jump off a cliff at some point in this little 'adventure' to get to where I am now?
The gears in my head started turning as I realized that I just wasted 20 minutes walking in what feels like circles.

"Damnit! Why am I so stupid!" I'm getting sick of this place! Not only is the fact that I'm now a rabbit throwing me through a loop, but I keep forgetting that I'm in a fricken cartoon where I could probably fall from Canterlot and still live EVEN if no one caught me!

After taking a quick "huff" in annoyance; I start climbing a taller looking tree to help get a better idea on where the hell I am.
Almost immediately, I get a good look of Ponyville and the train that's leaving from it.
"Okay Carter, think! As of right now; for who knows how long. I'm gonna have an easy time getting around. It's not until someone realizes that the idiot they took is fake, that I'm gonna have to take extra caution again..."
For a split second I took a glance at the Everfree Forest too see if I could find Trixie. But I immediately turned my head away and started to stare at Ponyville again to figure out a plan.
Part of me wanted to go in that forest to find her, but I knew that it would be almost pointless... Besides, if she isn't captured; she could probably find me when everyone figures out that im still on the run...
She did last time...

Of course something clicked in my head... If they think I'm currently captured. Then that means they probably won't be watching the trains as closely this time!
Good News: That means I'll have an easy ride to where ever the train is going.
Bad News: Unless I want to get nearly ran over like in the Crystal Empire, I'm gonna have to go into Ponyville, (which is currently a town that looks like it's on lockdown.) And I have to hope the train is taking me somewhere that's closer to the Crystal Empire.

This isn't gonna be easy... But then again... It never was.

I didn't like the idea of going back into Ponyville, but it was the only thing I could do... Other then take a hike across the whole country which is dangerous in itself.

Climbing down the tree, I get ready yo make my approach in Ponyville.

I was able to make my way I to the town, but it feels like an hour or two has passed...
I decided that it would probably be wise to slowly make my way in instead of just walking in and saying "hey guys! I'm over here!"
So I guess I can't complain about how long it took. On the way though, I saw Twilights Library surrounded by the royal guards. I could take a guess and say that they had my clone in there for questioning. But that doesn't matter right now, because just like before, I'm hiding somewhere by the train station and I'm gonna need a way to get on the thing.

Taking a look around, I saw a few richer looking ponys sitting and socializing around the station waiting for their train too allow them to board.
From the way they are dressed, I dosen't take a genius to see that they are from Canterlot. But I would need a way to get on the train without anyone noticing.
"Uh Sir? Are you sure you want me to move all of that?" Closer by the building, I can see what looks like a more middle aged earth pony stallion talking with an older looking unicorn that's next to a giant tower of luggage.
"Yep, these are richer folk, so they usually bring a lot of luggage."
"Could I atleast start off with a smaller job?" The seemingly new employe must have just asked for the wrong job at the wrong time.
"No. Now get to work!" Was the last thing the "boss" said before walking away.
Taking one last look at the pile, he sighed and started to take the bags in front of him and began to put them in a cargo hold.

... Okay, I think I know how I'm gonna get on that train.

From where I was hiding, I was gonna need to cross the street and get into one of the bags.
The street wasn't the problem though, getting past the train station while making sure no one sees me was gonna be the tricky part...

"Oh Mr. Sqeekie! Where are you?" A mare started yelling.
I raised an eyebrow before seeing a cute little dog run from under my legs from inside the ally, all the way to his owner. "There you are! And to think I thought you ran away!" She than sat down and picked him up to start hugging him, and even from here I could see the dog start licking her face in response.

A metiforical light bulb then just went off in my head.

"My clothes are pretty much destroyed anyway."

Striping off the remains of what were my clothes, I was thankful to see that I didn't have to worry about any genitals showing... I also was able to see that I did in fact have a fluffy little tail!

"Okay, maybe if I crouch down and keep myself small, I can blend in." Looking convincing would be hard... After all, I'm pretty sure I'm the size of a pony when I'm fully standing up...

"Okay here go's nothing."

Slowly making my way out of the ally, I take a quick look both ways before I cross the street before I start (crawling) to the train station.

The ponys all started to look at me, but they looked more surprised then anything. I was beginging to feel nervous that I might have just screwed everything up.
"Wow, that's a big rabbit."
"Aww, the thing looks like it hurt itself. I wonder what happend to it?"
"Why would it wonder over here? Does it need help?"

I was slightly relieved to hear that they didn't know who I was. But was even more worried when I saw some of the ponys start to approach me. So I started to kinda scurry my way over too where the new employee is to try to start making my move.

He thankfully immidatly noticed me and turned away from his work. "Hey there little buddy! What are you up too?"
I'll be honest, I didn't know what to do next...
I began to get closer to the baggage before he gets in front of me saying "sorry little guy, I can't let you touch these." He then got close to my ear whispering "I don't want to lose my job because of you." He then pushed me away in hopes that I would leave him alone.
Looking around, I could still see most of the ponys were looking towards my direction.

Ugh, if only I could make a distraction...
Suddenly the trains whistle started to blow before I hear someone say "all aboard!"
The crowd then turned their attention away from me before they all started to make their way into the train.

"Crud! I need to hurry up!" The employee then started to pick and throw the bags into the trains cargo hold.

I immidatly noticed something... Me and this guy were alone for the moment...
After waiting an extra second to see if someone comes by, I stand up to my full hight and quickly punch the unsuspecting employee across the face, knocking him out.
Yeah, it wasn't a rabbit like thing to do... But the beautiful thing about this is that I'm still a human on the inside, so I can choose to be either when ever I want!

While he was out, I quickly open one of the bigger bags that are still in the pile and empty enough stuff until I can fit inside. I then zip up the bag from inside and begin the waiting game.
"What are you doing!" I can hear someone scream from outside my bag.
"I'm paying you to do a job! Not to sleep around!" A pained groan could be heard as a response.
"Get up and let me help you! We need to do this quick or this thing will never leave!"
"Ugh, yes sir!" It's then the bags slowly could be heard being picked up and put into the train.

"What happend to all of this luggage here?!" Oh crap!
"I don't know... maybe someone dug through them to steal something?"
The boss started to get a paniced tone in his voice.
"Uhh, okay you take all of this stuff and put it in the Lost and Found!"
"What? But sir, why don't we just tell the owner that something happend to their bag?" That was honestly a good question, but as of right now, I'm happy with the bosses judgement.
"Because! If you go and tell them that somepony just rummaged through their baggage, there will be a complaint and MAYBE a lawsuit if they lost something valuable enough!" There was a brief moment of silence before the boss continued and said. "Just do as I say and put the stuff in lost and found!"
"Yes sir!"
Immediately after, I feel the bag that I'm in be picked up and put on a metal surface.

Okay... I'm on and nothing from here can go wrong!
"Next stop! Los Pegasus!"
God damnit!

Well... I hope they have a taxi I can use.

Author's Notes:

Although this is a shorter chapter, I can say that the next chapter will be without a doubt longer...
But I suppose I should explain why I haven't updated in a while...

Why I haven't updated was because I had writers block from writing a 10.000 word chapter in my other story... But that wasn't the main reason as to why I stopped.
I stopped because next to no one saw it. After putting so much work for pretty much only a small handful of people favorite it. I got tired of making fanfiction.
Now don't get the wrong idea, I love the people who actually read my stuff. But when I made such a big chapter, I was expecting a few more people to come in and read my story.

Although I realize now that it was selfish thing to do and that isn't really how it works. I do apologize and hope I can make better and more frequent updates in the future.
So if you're not angry or annoyed at me at this point. Thank you. I'll try to be a better writer.

One short nap later, I still find myself in the bag on a moving train. I gotta say though, I got bored pretty quickly when I realized that I couldn't really do anything...

Until I got the idea to start rummaging through everyone else's bags...

If ponys didn't hate me before, they sure as hell are gonna hate me now... But besides that, I would like to find replacement clothing. It's surprisingly cold outside not being able to wear something... Even if my clothes were just a tatterd pieces of cloth before.

I (sadly) was gonna have to put up with the fact that I wouldn't be able to steal clothing since none of it would fit right... I can't exactly wear something that has the arm holes in the front of the shirt instead of the sides.

I have a quick sigh in frustration before I started to wonder if they found out about my clone yet.

Alright, now that he's here I can get ready to request the princess to come.
"Spike, take a letter!" It's been about an hour since the outlaw tried to escape again, but this time he didn't get far!

"Yes sir!"
I can't help but to smile while surpressing a chuckle at his comment; he always said that to mess with me... But that's why he's my assistant.

Turning my attention back at the rabbit, I look at how he's tied up... As well as how the guards tied up his mouth to prevent him from talking...
I didn't question why they did it, after all, it could just be a punishment for something he did.

But anyway, now that we have him captured AGAIN. Maybe we can have the Princess question him since we didn't get him to say anything important last time.

"Dear Princess Celestia. This letter is here to inform you that we have the Rabbit Outlaw known as Carter, in our custody... again.
So as of right now, you can feel free to come over to the Libary anytime for any questions you want to personally ask him.
Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle."

"Alright Spike, you got everything written down?"
"Yes sir! Twilight Sparkle sir!" I rolled my eyes while smiling at him.
"It's Ms. Twilight Sparkle; I'm not a colt." I said joking around with him. "Anyways, just send it and we can begin the waiting game."
Giving one last salute, Spike took a deep breath before breathing fire into the letter to send it off to the princess.

Taking another look at him. I saw that he had a... blank look on his face... normally (from what I recall last time we had him,) he always had a more ... thoughtful expression when watching me. But now it's like I'm looking into the eyes of a animal.

While I'm observing this though, I notice a bright flash go off behind me. I turned around and immediately started to bow down at the sight of Princess Celestia.

"It's alright Twilight. I'm just here for a few quick questions, then I'll be on my way." Nodding, I turn to Spike and say. "You can go outside and enjoy yourself. Me and the Princess will just quickly try to get this done." He smiled and gave hiss thanks before running out of the library leaving me and the Princess with our prisoner.
I then stepped behind the Princess as she made her way over to him.

She slowly got closer to his unmoving face to see if she could get any sort of reaction out of him.
"Hmm." The princess thoughtfully hummed.

"Is it okay for me to remove the binds from his mouth?" The princess then asked.
"Uhh, sure. I'm not even sure why the guards tied up his mouth anyway."

Without saying anything else, the princess used her magic to undo the bind before asking her first question.
"Where did you come from?"
The criminal just stared at her before saying. "Well... I don't really know."

"You don't know where you came from? Then how did you get here?" I could tell the princess was trying to be gentle with him. But I'm honestly not sure why.

"Well... This could end badly." The criminal remained near emotionless when saying these words... I knew something was off about him.

"How so? Are you being hunted by something other then my guards?"
"Well... I don't think I'll need a ticket."
Celestia cocked her head sideways at this.

"Twilight, I believe your prisoner is defective."
Weird. Normally he would make some sort of remark or try to avoid a question. Heck, he normally looks kinda scared of us at times... But now he is just staring at us.
"Yeah, he normally woundn't be THIS uncooperative. Maybe we're missing something in what he's saying."
"Could some sort of spell or enchantment have been cast on him to prevent him from making coherent comments?" The princess brings up a good point.
"Perhaps. Shall I check for any spells or would you rather do it?"
Princess Celestia smiles at me before saying. "Allow me."

She then uses her magic to surround the rabbit, who still remains unfazed at anything we are saying or doing.
"Hmm, I've seen his type of magic before. But I can't quite place my hoof on where it's from... I know that this magic isn't from any modern day unicorn though."
Not from any modern unicorn? I suppose that could rule out any of Trixie's Magic.
"Perhaps if we ask our questions carefully, we can figure out this mystery."

"How did you get your magic?" I asked.
"Well... magic is OP."

"O.P?" The Princess wondered outloud. "Twilight! This might be our first clue!"
"Well, do you have any idea on what it could mean?" She shook her head in response.

"We need more information."

"What would you consider a 'OP?'"

"Well... magic is OP."
...
I looked over at my mentor before sighing.

This is gonna be a long day.

Either one of two things could have happened. They could have figured out he's a clone and could be doing tests on him. Or he could be distracting them by saying stupid stuff...

It's not like it's gonna matter. If Los Pegusus is anything like Los Vegas, then there will be guards and civilians everywhere.
So I'll most likely get caught anyway.

I guess I'll get some more rest while I wait... I gotta be ready to run after all.

Nothingness... That's the only dream I ever have now a days.

"Why don't you join the changlings?" ... This voice in my dream returned again...

"They are clearly the safer option, so why can't you join them?"

The answer just seemed obvious to me. "Because it wouldn't have been the morally correct thing to do."

"You could have gained ally's though! You could have made your life a lot easier if you joined them!" He isn't wrong. But that doesn't mean I should just start hurting the ponies for no reason.
"Why do you insist on wanting me to join? And who are you exactly?" It could be Discord... but now that I think about it; I doubt he would want to help the changlings with taking over Equestria. He could do that on his own.

"My identity will remain a secret unless you join the changlings, I can't keep protecting you if you won't make things easier for me In return!"

It was starting to become clear to me that this voice wasn't just some part of my imagination. Could it be some sort of Changling Spy? Or maybe a pony that wants to help Them?

"I'm afraid I can't do that. I won't help them take over Equestria!"

"But who's to say that you have to help them? They may just take you to the mirror without wanting anything in return!"

"Because I doubt that's how it would work. The Changlings are attempting to take over Equestria in an attempt for food. They would have absolutely no reason to help me. If anything, what would happen is that I would help them and they wouldn't help me."

"Then you will receive no more aid from me." I felt cold chill run down my back as he said this.

"Fine, if my voice in my head is allied with the changlings, then I want no part of you!"
I could hear quiet mumbling in return before he spoke more clearly saying "You'll regret this choice. In fact, you might regret it the minute you wake up."

As he said this, everything started to melt away as I started to wake up from my dream.

I wake up with heavy breathing; and run my hand across my forehead as I wipe the cold sweat that was starting to come down to my face.
Not even a moment later, the cargo door opens and I get grabbed and pulled out of the train; only to see both an employee of the station and a guard right in my face.

"Oh, would ya look at this! We got a live criminal on our hooves!" Crap!
Without even a chance for escape, I get grabbed by both stallions and start getting dragged off.

"How did you guys know that-" was all I could say before being cut off by the guard. "We got a heads up from some reliable information."

'Reliable information?' Who could have said anything about me? Did someone in Ponyville see me punch that baggage employee?

"Anyhoo, we even took the time to prepare a carriage for your arrival while we waited." They told me while I was being dragged to said empty carriage.
This carriage was similar to the one that I was put in at Ponyville, the only difference is that it's not a cage and more of a cell that had one open window that was just big enough for you to see the back of the drivers head.

As I got shoved in, they slammed the door behind me and (needless to say,) locked it.
"Your a slippery rodent, I'll give you that. But like all criminals, you will get caught eventually."
I smile as I think of the perfect comeback. "You mean like all the changlings that are in the city's?"
I could hear him growl at me in return. "Those buggers will take some time to catch, but we will get them eventually!" He said as he started to pull the cart.

"Just do me a favor and keep quiet; It's gonna be a long ride across the city to get to the L.P.G.S. If your lucky, I might start telling ya stories.

"L.P.G.S?" I say with a eyebrow raised.
"Los Pegusus Guard Station is what it stands for, you stupid rodent."
I open my mouth to say something else back to him, but hesitate before sighing and sitting down on the floor.

I start staring at the floor as I let my mind wander on what I can do about this situation I'm in.

Thinking back as to how I got here, I start wondering as to why my TV became a portal. Did something here make it? Or was it made another world? Maybe one of my video games?

Is that portal even still open? Am I trapped in Equestria forever?

Although most bronys wouldn't probably dislike this idea, I still had a life to live back on Earth.
And even if I didn't have any sort of life, I'm an established criminal right now and can't really live a comfortable life without my past actions biting me in the bum later.

"Ya know." The guard spoke up. "You remind me of this other criminal that I had to drag to the station. She made a huge mess and caused a bunch of mischief. And kid; I'll tell you, she sure had a mouth on her... That in itself scored her a few extra weeks in jail." The guard said while chuckling to himself.

Part of me just wanted to stay quiet, but the other part wanted to take part in the conversation.
"What did she do?" I ask despite the fact I wanted to stay quiet.

"She was just a fraud magician. Quite frankly, I don't even know why ponys become magicians! Magic is such a common thing in the world that anypony who lives in a city or town can see most spell in a few days time." I seem to have got him talking...

It's then something he said crossed my mind.
'We got a heads up from some reliable information.'

"How did you know I was in the train?"

"I told you earlier, somepony told us."
"And you didn't question it? He just said 'this criminal got on this train' and you believed it?"
I could hear he started to get annoyed at me. "It didn't happen like that, and I don't have to tell you how It did happen! You're just a no good criminal after all. Now be quiet! We're almost to the station."

Slumping back, I can't help but replay that conversation in my head to see how I could have done that better... But I suppose it didn't matter. Even if I knew who did it, I doubt I would go out to try and find them.

After all, that would just delay my objective of leaving this world...

Right as I finished that thought, the cart stopped and I could hear the guard start getting ready to open my door to let me out.

"I trust your not gonna try anything when I open this here door, right?"
The thought of doing something was tempting. But I honestly liked the idea of being somewhere safe more then the idea of being chased by every guard in the city...
I already went through that experience once and I don't need to re-live it.

I hopped out of the cage and stood still for a few seconds to help reassure that I wasn't gonna go anywhere. Looking at the building behind him, I could see that it is indeed that guard station that he was talking about.

The easiest way to describe this place is that it looked about three stories tall and looked about maybe 2,000 square feet? Maybe? I'm no construction expert but I think that would sound about right.

"Enough staring, get moving."
Keeping my mouth shut, I walk past him and into the front door of the station with him following right behind.
The entrance to this place was a waiting room with white walls, a few chairs, the receptionists counter with said receptionist behind it... and nothing else really. This is as plain of a waiting room it could get.

"She was right!" The guard behind me said. "The outlaw really was on that train." The receptionist seemed to get a surprised look on her face.
"Well I don't believe it..."
"I'll go put him in one of the cells before I ask the captain to send a letter to one of the higher ups." She nods in response before going through some paper that's on her desk.
I get led down a hall and up some stairs before I make a turn past an open door that leads into another hall that's lined with empty cells.

"I see that you guys stop a lot of crime in this city." I say as a quick remark.
The guard gives a quick chuckle before saying "can't catch crime when there isn't any."
He then opens one of the cells before telling me to get in.

Walking in the cell, I sit on the relatively low bed as I watch him lock it and walk away.

As low as this bed is though, I think I could probably squeeze under it if I wanted to hide... It would probably be more comfortable under it then on top of it anyway.
"I'll be back soon, now don't go anywhere." He says as he leaves the hall while closing the door as he leaves.

Minutes pass as I sit in this cell, no other prisoners to be found. I'm completely alone while I try to think up something to do as I wait.

Time passes, at least an hour has passed by now, and I still haven't seen any guards come check on me.
Should I be worried? Has something come up? What am I supposed to do if I end up needing to randomly use the bathroom, despite the fact I haven't needed to go this entire time I was in Equestria?
All of these questions, (some more valid then others,) I couldn't answer on my own. I need to find a way to get somepony in here.

Walking over to the bars that separate me from the outside of this cell, I start yelling out saying "Can someone come over here? I need some questions answered!"
No one comes.
I repeat myself multiple times, each time I call out getting progressively louder and louder as I try to get someone's attention.

Another minute passes before I give up and lay down on my bed.
Is anyone even in the station anymore? Or are they just ignoring me?

But as I'm deep in my thought, I hear something outside. The sound of a door opening to be precise.

My ears that I normally have lay limp behind my head, I have stand up straight while pointing to door that I entered this hallway of cells from.

"I'm sorry, but can I help you?"

"Yes, you have our rabbit that we need to take home."

"I'm sorry, unless you have some sort of letter with the princesses approval, I can't let you near him."
There was a brief silence before I heard some muffling and the sound of something breaking.

A bead of sweat rolls down my head as I expect the worst of what I heard. "Did they hurt her?" That receptionist didn't deserve to be hurt or injured (assuming that's what happened.)
My ears remain pointed at the door before I hear the sound of multiple hoof steps getting closer and closer to me.

Without even hesitating, I scramble under the bed as hastily and quietly as I could muster under the (admittedly) scary situation I was in.

Remaining quiet, I hear the door that leads into this hall open as someone enters. They remain quiet as they walk down the hall waiting to hopefully find me.
Soon I see the hooves of the pony a that came to find me, I could see at least three sets pass by my cell probably assuming I would be farther down.
Eventually they reach the end though. "Where is he? He should be here, right?" I could hear a slightly burly voice say.
"You don't think he escaped right? Because there shouldn't be anyway out of these cells unless he got a key." A similar voice said.
"Could there have been some sort of teleportation?" The last voice asks.

"Who knows, I could probably analyze the cells if there was any magic used, but we would have to open them up first." My eyes widen upon hearing this. Was I really gonna get out because of them?

"Wait, why do you have to open the cells up?"

"Have you not been to a jail before? All of the cells have a anti magic field to prevent the craftier unicorns from using some sort of unlocking spell on them. We need to get the keys for that reason."
Some more conversation passed between them before they left to get the keys. I don't get it though, was this dumb luck or did that voice help me again? Because this is almost too convenient to be true.

It didn't take them long before they found the keys and came back. Because before I knew it, the door to my cell was opened and scanned before they left it to try the next one over. My heart was beating faster and faster, my cell was open and I could escape easily at anytime. But I knew better then to blindly get up and just run out. Instead I sat there until they were finished opening all the cells.

"Nothing." One spoke up saying.
"Really? Absolutely nothing was found?"
"Nope, the only thing I noticed is that one of the beds rejected my magic for some reason." What? Was that me?

The hooves started getting louder until they stopped right in front of my cell again.
"I think it was this one. When I scanned it, my magic just bounced off of it. Go ahead, try it."

A moment passes before the other one spoke up saying. "You're right, what's up with this?"
My heart was beating out of my chest at this point. I was gonna be discovered!

"You two, pick it up and see if anything is hidden under it."
As soon as the two approache the bed, they lift it up slowly and before they can get a good look at me, I quickly sprint past one of them by the door and towards the exit.

"It's the rabbit! Quick, after him!"

For the split second I looked over my shoulder I saw the two goons drop the bed and the other 'boss' like pony start running at me.
I quickly run down the stairs and out the front door without so much as glancing to see if the receptionist was okay; it just wasn't on my mind at the time.

As I bust through the front door and run a random direction down the street while hearing the sound of the goons come out of the building right after me. I don't know what they wanted with me, but I had zero reason to stick around to find out.

As I ran throughout the city, the streets got busier as I was finding my way to the higher traffic areas in the city.

The sound of the goons chasing after me vanished as the sound was replaced by every other city noise around.
The streets were so full that I almost thought I was in New York City for a second.

My running slow down to a slow walk as I was taking in the sights the city had to offer. I saw buildings that could reach up to the clouds, places where a pony could play games, I even saw some sort of Griffin hotel that seemed to have specials on types of animal meat for the day.

But what caught my eye was the huge re-creation of the crystal castle that had a elevator of some kind that let you go to the top.

I felt speechless as I looked up at it, I started to stare at it in disbelief as flashbacks of when I was younger came back to me.

I could remember my parents bringing me up the fake Eiffel Tower in Los Vagas to see the view of the city. I was young and couldn't really enjoy much of anything about Los Vagas, but I remember one thing about the place. I developed my fear of heights there.

The tower was safe and had a cage on the top to prevent people from falling. But I remember shaking the whole time I was up there, I was the most timid kid you would have seen if anyone were to see me in that situation.
I can't even tell you any of the places or hotels I saw up there because I was so focused on the ground.

Although my fear has gotten much better since then, I don't think I could say that it was gone completely. After all, jumping off of Canterlot probably made it come back.

I couldn't help but shudder as I remembered that horrible experience. If I was ever gonna get home, that will probably be a moment that will haunt me in my dreams.

"Where is he?!"
I turn my head in the direction of the voice, although I was only able to see the crowds of ponies that were walking down the streets, I knew that I still wasn't safe from my pursuers just yet. So I walked back into the flow of the crowd and continued to make my way through the city.

"Twilight, I don't think we're gonna get anywhere at this rate."
Princess Celestia was right, we've been interrogating him for hours and still haven't gotten any answers... that we could understand.

I take a deep breath before telling the Princess, "maybe we should just take a break." She nodded in response.

"Twilight, you done yet?" I hear the sound of Spike call out as the front door to the library opens and closes respectively.
"Me and the Princess are just taking a break for now." I tell Spike as I approach him.
"Did you find anything out?" Spike seemed genuinely curious about this.
"Honestly... No, not really. He's just really uncooperative. Which is a little annoying since last time we were at least able to make SOME progress."
I'm honestly not sure what to make of the situation, I'm half certain that he has been mind controlled in the very least. That or could he possibly have been mind wiped?

"Can I see him at least?" I raise an eye brow at Spike upon hearing this.
"What're you going to do?"
"I don't know." He says while shrugging and walking past me.

"Twilight." I jump at my mentors voice as I completely forgot she was right next to me. "Do you think Carter would react differently if we had some of your other friends talking too him?" Huh, I haven't considered this idea.
"Maybe, I can't really say for sure though."

"Hey, why are you so scared of us anyway?"
I turn my head to see Spike talking one on one with the outlaw that has been giving cryptic answers this whole time.
"Well... I'm not scared of you, it's the ones that can hurt me I'm nervous about." My eyes widen at his response; this is the first time he made a real reasonable answer!
"Why aren't you scared of me? Is it because I'm small!?" I could hear the princess chuckle next me upon hearing this remark.
"Well... Not that, but I always kinda respected you." Spike tilted his head in confusion at this... as well as me and the princess.
I'm pretty sure I never directly mentioned Spike at all during any of our interviews, besides telling him to 'leave us alone' that is.

"Wait, how do you know about me?"
"Well... I don't really know." And now he's back to being cryptic again, that or he could just be playing dumb...

Spike slowly started to back away from him before he turned to me saying. "I don't know if I want to talk to him anymore." I put my left fore hoof on his head before saying. "Don't worry, Spike. We won't force you to keep talking with him, but it would be helpful if we could have you talk to him again later."
"Later? How much later?" I look to the princess for the answer for her to quickly respond. "We can take an hour break right now if you wish."
Looking back at Spike, I quickly tell him "in one hour, we'll need your help."

With a nod, Spike takes a glance back at the rabbit before walking into another room.

"So, Twilight." The princess starts. "Shall we-" Celestia was cut off by a letter suddenly appeared before her.
"What is it princess?" Celestia remains quiet as she silently reads over it.
She takes a sigh of relief before she says "it's is nothing Twilight. One of my commanders just asked if Carter was in our custody. It thankfully is nothing important." That's a relief, for some reason I was expecting something horrible to happen.
"Anyway Twilight; as I was saying. Shall we go over what we know before we have Spike help us later?" I sigh upon hearing this.
"Yes princess. Let's see if we can come up with any sort of conclusion to what he's been saying."

I'm gonna need some tea after this.

I was starting to get a little paranoid. No matter how long I would walk with the crowd, no matter how many buildings I would duck by. I would always hear those same voices from those guys that were in the Guard Station. It was becoming increasingly clear that I wasn't gonna be safe in this city no matter where I went.

But I needed an out. It was getting exhausting making my way through the crowds while trying to avoid these guys, not to mention that I was getting paranoid even when I wasn't hearing them.
I've been wandering through these streets for so long that I don't know if I could even find my way back to the Train Station at this rate!
"Let's check over here!" There it was again, my breath was becoming more panicked everytime I heard that same voice, I quickly dive out from the crowd into a really popular street that consisted of carriages, more ponies and... a big stage?
I couldn't help but notice a few Wonder Bolts posters around the general area, but became even more curious when somepony on the stage went up to a microphone and said. "Fillies and Gentlecolts, welcome to the two hundred and second annual Wonder Bolts Show!" My eye brows raised at this. Can't say I was expecting to see a Wonder Bolts show while I was here, but I suppose this is Los Pegasus, so shows like this probably aren't too rare.
"The show will begin momentarily, until then make yourselves comfortable and enjoy yourselves!"
I quickly find my way through the crowd before I start hearing the sound of jet engines above. The Wonder Bolts all in some sort of formation fly up and hover above the stage before splitting off and doing some stunts. I saw rolls, quick spins and some synced up formations that involved drawing spiral with the black smoke trail that follows them.
The audience made the noises you would expect, some "ooh"s and "ahh"s and a round of applause every now and then. But I still had a sinking feeling in my gut that I should be moving somewhere.
"I saw him in here somewhere." My eyes widen at the same voice that's been stalking me. I find myself turning around and scanning the crowd around me. He could be anywhere, I needed to move. I picked a direction and started to move, I couldn't risk staying around any longer despite how cool the show is.

As I made my way through the crowd, I can't help but notice that The Wonder Bolts have landed on the stage before I feel hooves touch my shoulder. I look up with fear in my eyes as I see a stallion look down at me with gental eyes. "You okay there?" Without saying anything, I keep moving away from the area in hopes of fleeing from the voice. I can't risk trusting anyone right now, not while someone close by is actively hunting me!
At this point I hear someone on the stage talking into the microphone, I couldn't pay attention to what they said as I found myself instead listening for that same voice that I can't seem to evade.
I reach the outer edge of the crowd and take one last look back at the stage. The Wonder Bolts seem to be answering questions or something. As this is happening, I notice one of them lock eyes with me. We stare at each other for a full second before a stallion forcefully picks me up and starts carrying me to the ally.
I thrash and yell at this unexpected act before he throws me down and quickly punches me in the face.

I find myself laying in the floor of the ally as I fade in and out of consciousness. I see bits and pieces of another pony coming by and some sort of struggle. But before I pass out, I look up and see another stallion in a blue flying suit look down at me.

"Well... I didn't think I would meet a Wonder Bolt." I sputter out before I drop my head to the floor knocked out.

Silence. It was so peaceful, yet so unerving at the same time. For a brief moment I considered if I was dead, but pain slowly started to ease over my body to tell me otherwise.
"You brought this upon yourself you know." I sighed in response to this comment.
I don't need this voice to patronize me right now.

I was getting frustrated and upset. I just want to go home now! Why can't I have that!?
"Remember, just say the word and I'll-"
"Stop talking." I say interrupting him. If I could see his face, I would imagine he would be raising an eyebrow at this.
"It doesn't have to be like this. Why do you constantly refuse us?"
I took a pause to think up the answer to his question. "Because I don't trust you." He also remained silent at my comment.

"I suppose on one hand I could see why." My full attention falls to him upon hearing this. "We do ask a lot. Taking over the pony race for love isn't the easiest task in the world to do, but it's under our Queens orders that we have to fufill such task."

"But why would I be helpful to you?" I find myself saying without thinking.

"You simply make a good distraction. Besides... We also noticed something else about you."

"Something else?" I repeated.

"You seem to be magic resistant. Or more specifically, your fur is magic resistant." I felt a little taken aback by this. Although I did admittedly notice this during this little 'adventure', I didn't realize that it was my fur specifically that was repelling the magic.
I suppose this would explain why Trixie was able to magically fix my broken leg back before I entered Ponyville. My leg was already open so she was able to use her magic on that part of me directly.

... But wait...
"If my fur can repel magic, then how are we talking?" He gave a quick chuckle before responding.
"The inside of your big ears don't have fur in them. And as a bonus, this spell can be shot straight to your brain because of that."
On instinct, I went to grab my ears, but found I was still unable to move my body. I guess these ears provide a disadvantage to being magic repellent.

"But that being said, I think you could see why you would be valuable to us. You're the only creature that we've discovered that has these 'magic repelling' propertys. Your fur could give us a much bigger advantage in the upcoming fight for The Crystal Empire."

"What!?" They're gonna attack The Crystal Empire? That couldn't be right, why would they need to do this?

"You heard right. We'll be going to The Crystal Empire, that same place that you've been wanting to go to." I feel like my eyes would be wide open right now if I wasn't asleep.
"You know the drill. Just say you want in and we'll let you join us."

"I- um." I couldn't find the words to say. Should I agree so I can go home? But are they trust worthy? And more importantly, how much of my fur would they take?

I quickly clear my throat before pausing for another second. "What's your name?"

"Excuse me?" It seems he wasn't expecting this question.

"I have to ask for your name. I refuse to make a decision until I get to know you."

Without hesitation, he answers by saying "Clipped Wing."

"Well, Clipped Wing. I'm afraid I have to tell you something. Not only do I refuse to join you, but you done nothing to me that can prove your loyalty and trustworthiness to me for me to even consider helping you out." A quick mental pat on my back was given after that line.

"Are you sure? We know about the mirror and how you got here."

"Even so, I doubt you would even have the ability to get near that mirror to do anything to it. I'm willing to bet that I'll be able to get back home before your invasion even begins." I could hear a snicker from this.

"Well then. I guess you'll have to get moving... Tell you what, we were originally gonna invade tonight. But just for you, I'll see about doing it tomorrow night. I can promise you that we have enough forces to completely take over that town like how we took over Canterlot. If you don't make it by then, you can kiss that mirror goodbye. But don't worry! When that happens, we'll have a nice cell and pair of clippers for you all ready and warm for your visit."
His voice started to sound more and more distant, was I waking up?

"Your timer starts now."

The transition from listening to Clipped Wing and waking up was almost seamless as I found myself lying down on a bed of some sort. The rhythmic beeps of some machine echo through my ears as I remain on the bed motionless. Opening my eyes, I quickly scan the room to find that I was in a hospital of some kind. Upon further inspection, I seemed to be strapped to the bed that I was currently in.
All in all, this wasn't a surprising situation I was in.

A few minutes of struggling against the straps of the bed proved to be pointless when I realized I wasn't making any progress of getting out period. Instead I raised my ears up to see if I could learn anything on what's happening...
More minutes pass as I start to feel unsafe about the situation I was in, could I be left unguarded? Is that guy who was following me still around?
My heart skipped a beat on that particular thought.

Getting stuck in my thoughts didn't last long as the door opened, causing me to jump a little from surprise. A doctor and nurse entered the room getting ready to do exams it seems.
I clear my throat before speaking up with a quick and simple "hi". Getting the direct attention of both the nurse and doctor, the nurse immediately leaves the room while the doctor approaches me.
The doctor seems to be a bigger earth pony stallion with a gruff looking stubby beard with a blond mane and carmel colored coat. He also seemed to have a permanent frown on his face.
"Awake already? With the amount of head injuries we got on the report, we would have assumed you would be out like a light."
Now that he mentions it, I have been getting hit in the head a bunch. If this wasn't a cartoon I probably would have brain damage by now... assuming I don't have brain damage right now by just being in this fictional world.
"Care to tell us who you are? At first glance we assumed you were that outlaw, but he's been captured by the princesses already so that clearly isn't the case." They still haven't realized he's a clone yet? Sweet! I didn't realize he would be as useful as he was.

After a brief moment of thinking, I respond with "Joseph" as my name.
"Joseph? No last name?" I was half tempted to tell him my real last name but ultimately said "I don't have a last name."

He raised a eyebrow before scribbling down on his clipboard while responding, saying "your species has a interesting culture to not need last names."
I couldn't tell whether or not he was testing me with the way he was speaking but I went with it anyways.

The same nurse earlier however then entered the doorway with another pony following shortly behind her. "I brought the Wonderbolt, sir."

The Wonderbolt was still wearing his uniform so I couldn't really make out too many details of what he looked like besides his mane being yellow with a darkish orange stripe in it.
"Ahh, so you must be the one that rescued this rabbit creature, am I correct?"
He gave a nice and cool "that is correct" with a practiced smile immediately after. He gave a glance at me before dropping his smile into a frown.
"It's a good thing that the outlaw is captured or I would have sent you to a jail immediately. I mean, this is the first time this new sentient rabbit species is being made known, me and the other boys just assumed that the criminal was one of a kind."
Although I was appreciating the fact that I wasn't being interrogated, I had to ask the obvious question of "who exactly are you?"

"Oh right, sorry. I'm used to fans already knowing who I am. My name is Lightning Streak, and I was part of last years Top Ten Wonderbolt Racers."
Wow, that's mildly impressive for a Wonderbolt I haven't even personally heard about. "What number were you?"
"Oh... I wasn't a number, I was just a co-announcer for the event..."

... Never mind, I'm not that impressed anymore.

"So, what brings you to Los Pegasus? Here for the sights, or maybe to see if you were lucky enough in the games that are around?"
"Actually, would you believe that I got on the wrong train to get here?" He gave a quick laugh before continuing.
"I guess, I can't really say where of all places you would want to go besides here. But if that's what you say then alright." After a brief pause, he went on saying. "So where was it you were planing on going?"

Should I tell him about where I'm going? So many things could go wrong if he figured out who I was. If I was to trust him, should I tell him about the changeling invasion that is to happen soon?

"You okay?" he grabs my attention, it seems I was thinking in silence longer then I should have.
"I'm fine, but to answer your question, I was planing to go to the Crystal Empire; I hear it's a beautiful city."
He seems to accept this answer as he smiles some more before going on about how nice it is.

Admittedly I wasn't paying that much attention to what he was saying, but it didn't last long anyway as the doctor gave a quick cough to get his attention.
"Excuse me, Mr. Lightning Streak, isn't your superior supposed to be here by now?" The Wonderbolt gave a frowned brow before realizing what the doctor meant.
"Oh, Spitfire should be here anytime. Knowing her though, she had to either fill something out or gave some rookie a quick chewing out before she left though."
Spitfire is supposed to be here? Her being here probably means this is gonna end badly for me.
Oh! Maybe I could find a way to leave before she gets here... maybe? Hopefully?

Once again I give a quick clearing of the throat to get the attention of the ponies in the room.
"How long am I supposed to be here? If it isn't asking too much, I would like to leave so I can make my plans for heading to the Crystal Empire." That sounded convincing enough.
The doctor didn't have an interested look in his eyes as he seemingly mindlessly said "You have bruises on your head, if we let you leave you could potentially kill yourself if you took another spill."
"Yeah." Lightning Streak spoke up. "That and apparently Commander Spitfire doesn't want you to leave until she sees you."

It was worth a shot.
Alright, it's now that time where I have to make a brilliant* escape plan.
Okay step one, I need to have these straps removed.
"Well at the very least can you take these straps off? I don't exactly plan on leaving on my own accord anyway."
Everyone in the room seemed quiet at first, unsure what to do.
The nurse slowly made her way over to undo the straps, when she got to the bedside, she looked over to the doctor. "Go ahead, he isn't an outlaw so we probably didn't even have to strap him down anyway." After the permission was given, she bit into the belt buckle before fiddling a bit to unhook it.
After the process was finished, I was into step two of the plan...
Still need to figure this part out...

Silently, another pony walked in, a bright yellowish mare with orange hair that resembled fire while wearing saddle bags appeared in my vision, it didn't even take me a second to recognize that this was Spitfire.

Without even looking at me, she looked directly at Lightning Streak before facehooving. "It was YOU that saved him?" She sounded more annoyed then she did angry at him.
"Come on Commander! Now that I did something that is gonna be in papers, will you finally let me be part of one of the primary teams?"
Spitfire put on her serious face as she started scolding him saying. "Listen Lighting Streak, you have to realize that I can't put you on the primary team unless get an eighty percent on the tests! We've been over this before! I can't just let you in unless you are able to keep up with the rest of the fliers!"
Lightning seemed to have a distraught look on his face. "But those tests are rigged! How am I supposed to go from a straight dive into a sharp turn back straight up without breaking my back!?"
Spitfire then turns away from him before continuing. "Please, if that rookie from the Young Fliers Competition is able to go fast enough for a Sonic Rainboom and still make that turn back up, you should be able to as well going half as fast!"

"Listen." The doctor spoke up seeming visibly annoyed at the verbal fight that broke out. "I hate to break up this discussion you're having, but if you don't have anything important to do here, then I suggest we leave and let the patient rest."
Spitfire glared at Lightning one last time before giving a "we'll finish this later" line before walking up to me.
Quickly fiddling with her saddle bags, she pulls out one of my wanted posters and holds the picture up to my face. "Is this you?"
I stare at it for a second before answering "no".

She takes a moment to look at it herself before getting a suspicious look on her face. "I guess you're right... The one in this picture has a lazy eye."
I remain quiet to see where this goes. it just dawned on me that I'm being interrogated by a Wonderbolt and that if I screw up here, I'll be going in a dungeon.
My heart rate increased slightly.
"Do you know Carter?"
"I know of him, why do you ask?"

She takes a step back and starts pacing around me. She obviously knows something, she just needs something to confirm it.
"I ask because it's a bit too convenient for two rabbits that could almost be considered twins to show up in Equestria randomly. Not to mention one of said rabbits have been causing a lot of trouble and has a price over his head." She starts pacing around the room while the doctor starts to sit down in the corner. "I have gotten a letter directly from Princess Celestia confirming that Carter has been captured. And yet, I can't help but get a weird feeling in my gut that I'm looking right at him."

"Why do you think this exactly?" I can't help but get a feeling that this won't be ending well for me.

"I think this because it's almost too convenient that another rabbit that looks suspiciously like the one that broke the law would appear randomly. If there really was a bunch of your kind being made known, why would it be that two rabbits that look almost exactly alike both appear in close time frames and not even know each other?"
She wasn't wrong, what she said was making enough sense to make me look guilty... she was unraveling this lie quickly and I couldn't immediately think of a way to disprove what she was saying.

"I don't really know how to answer that." I nervously say while trying to remain still.

"I apologize if my assumption is wrong, but this is way to convenient for my liking. I'll have to transport you to the city of Canterlot for that reason for a proper interrogation in front of the princesses."

I found myself frozen in fear. I can't really say anything to get myself out of this situation at hand, and even though I could just run, that would just prove her theory...

"Alright, I assume there isn't much I can say to convince you otherwise, but I'll go with you to Canterlot." Giving a nod, Spitfire takes a step back before glancing at Lightning. "Lightning, I want you to go and tell the others to prepare the zeppelin."

He tilted his head at this. "Why do you need the zeppelin ready? Can't we just wait for a train?"
Spitfire put on a serious look before saying "The last train to Canterlot today already left, and on the hunch that this is the criminal, we can't delay the travel."
After a disgruntled sigh Lightning did a "yes ma'm!" before leaving through the door.

The doctor, who was silently listening to what was happening, seemed to be content with all that has happened, with the same being for the nurse.

"I guess I'll be taking my medical skills somewhere else. Have a good day, Ms." He said as he took his leave with the nurse following shorty after.

With just me and Spitfire in the room, I couldn't help but reflect back to the dream with Clipped Wing. He's giving me a legitimate chance, and for some reason I still don't think I'll make it...

Am I gonna be stuck in Equestria forever?

My life back home was average, I'm not that kid with a upsetting past, bad parents, horrible friends or have a horrible sickness.
I'm not some army veteran that got saved from dying because he was teleported to Equestria. I'm not even a kid on the brink of suicide that was lucky enough to be happy in a new world...

Equestria is a neat place... no, not just neat, an amazing place!

...But it isn't my home.
Being stuck here will make me lose everything! I should have thought this through when I first went into my TV, but no, meeting colorful horses from a stupid TV show was too good for me to pass up, and now I'm probably never gonna be able to see my family again!

"What's up with you?"

I look up from my daydreaming, Spitfire seemed to have a confused look on her face...
My face feels wet. Was I crying?

"Listen, you don't have to worry so much, even if you were the criminal, the Princesses are benevolent. They won't kill you or anything."

"That's not it." I say under my breath while trying to keep my voice together. "If I get locked up, I'll lose so much that you won't even begin to imagine." Technically, I would be loosing the right to live in my world if I get locked up now.
"What would be that important to you? Family?"
Spitfires face seemed to show a lot more concern then curiosity.

"Family is part of the reason, but if I get locked up now, I'll never be able to live anywhere near where my home is ever again."
Spitfires face went from curiosity to stern in seconds. "Speaking of which, where is your home? It surely couldn't be by Equestria since no one has even heard about your bunny kind before."

I didn't reply right away, instead I just looked at her for a few seconds, my face still wet from the tears that I shed.
"My kind lives in a place you could probably never reach by normal means, no ponies live there. Just us and no one else."
"That doesn't really answer my question. And besides, if that's the case, then how did you even get here?"
Nerves were starting to kick in, I can't believe I was gonna say this.
"I got here from a portal."

"A portal?" She repeated. "Portals are old unicorn and alicorn magic, almost no modern unicorn from what I understand can make those under normal situations. You expect me to believe a race of rabbits that don't seem to have access to magic were able to make a portal to get here?"
Yeesh, I feel like I've been reading fanfictions again. "I'm not in a position to lie to you, for that reason I can't tell you anything else because telling you some other way I got here would be considered a lie."

She stared at me. Her face stern and unmoving, she was trying to read me; to see if I would do something to say that I was lying.
"Who was after you?"
This was one question I wasn't mentally preparing for, I almost didn't know what to say at first.
"I don't really know."
"Wrong answer." She got on the side of the bed to stare directly into my eyes.
"Who is after you?"

I make an agitated sigh as I continue to explain. "I seriously don't know who attacked me in the ally. I'm sorry but I can't help you there."

"No, from the look on your face, you know there are ponies after you, I'd be willing to bet you even spoke with them."
I was confused, why would she jump to that assumption? No one was actively out to get me...

Your timer starts now.

Unless...

Was she talking about the Changlings?..

My suspicion began to rise as I started to consiter if this Spitfire is fake.
"Listen, I'm sorry but I don't have any idea where you're going with this."

I could tell she was getting a bit frustrated. And from the face expressions she's was giving, she also seemed to have some sort of internal debate going on right now.

The door to the room opened again, Lightning Streak entered the room with a smile. "Alright, the zeppelin is being prepared now, we've also been given permission to take Joesph with us so long as he's resting on a bed for the entire trip."

Spitfire wasn't entirely pleased to be interrupted here, but went ahead and responded anyway. "Well if that's the case then I suppose my line of questioning is over for now. Take him to the zeppelin so we can continue this later."
As she walked by Lightning Streak, he replied with a "Yes sir!" leaving her to sigh in annoyance.

Helping me up, Lightning Streak gets me off the bed so we begin to make our way to our destination.

"So what exactly is a zeppelin?" I ask out of curiosity.
"Think of it like a boat with huge balloons on top to help it fly."
"Really?" I say in an impressed manner. "So why do the Wonderbolts have a Zeppelin?"
He gives a small laugh at this in response. "Just because we fly for a living doesn't mean we fly half way across Equestria for a quick little show. We only pull out the zeppelin for the towns that are relatively far from Cloudsdale." I suppose that makes sense in a way. Olympic athletes may train intensively, but that doesn't mean they walk to the Olympics whenever it starts.

Upon exiting the hospital though, a big crowd begins to gather around. Ponies, Griffons and any other race I probably didn't notice began to whisper to one another, a few camrea flashes even went off as well.
"Just try to ignore them, you get used to ponies taking pictures just from walking by." I couldn't really get a good look at the surroundings as I get dragged off into another big business type building before entering an elevator with Lightning Streak.

Upon the elevator doors opening, the giant blimp like vehicle is revealed to me. The boat being blue with the name S.S. Wonderboat writen on the side while the balloon part had the Wonderbolt logo on it.

"Wow." Was the only thing that escaped my mouth as I looked at it.
The boat part of the Zeppelin had at least two, maybe three floors that could fit on the inside of the boat part itself. I almost find it hard to imagine that it's just strictly for taxiing the Wonderbolts since it almost in a way reminds of a cruise ship!

"It's... so cool!" I would love to drive one of these things some day!

"Most ponies first reactions are pretty similar." Lightning bragged as if he himself owned it.
As I approached, my excitement slowly dwindled back to nervousness.
'I'm gonna have to smooth talk my way past a princess...' Reality stuck as I realized what was inevitably gonna happen.

"You okay?" Lightning asked with concernment.
I take a deep breath to calm my nerves, "never better."

As I step before the ramp, I pause before putting my right foot on the ramp to get ready to board the zeppelin. Upon entry I get greeted by Spitfire and a few other Wonderbolts that I didn't recognize besides her.
"I'll take him from here, Lightning Streak." She then gave me a stern look before continuing. "You! Follow me!" After one more quiet sigh I start following behind her only to be led all the way up to the top of the Zeppelin and into another room with a cage and what seemed to be a furnace.
"Seriously?" I say in while staring at the the cage with annoyance. I've had just about enough of being put in these things.

"Yes, now get in there! After the ship safely takes flight, I'll return to you for more lines of questioning."
She practically shoved me in as I trip upon entry and land face first into the little confinement area. Without saying another word, she left the room and went outside.

'I suppose on the bright side I'm technically getting a bit closer to The Crystal Empire.' I however stared at the ceiling while I waiting for company to return.

I found that I had dozed off to sleep while I was waiting, but how much time has passed!? I started to get worried that the Changling attack on The Crystal Empire was drawing near...

I have to tell somepony. If I don't, the city might get destroyed, or worse, taken over.

When is Spitfire supposed to come anyway? Surely the ship should be up by now.

Just to see if it was possible, I decided to see how resilient the iron bars were that were holding me back in this cage.
'Okay, one, two-' I take a step forward and try to kick the iron barred door as hard as I could... and hurt my foot in the process.
I miss having shoes.

Looking around at anything else that was in the cage, I saw a kinda small wood chair and some hay to sleep on.
"Probably should have slept on that hay instead of the floor" I say to myself as I sort of stretch my back.

The door to the room however opens, turning my head, I saw that Spitfire had returned.

Without even looking at me, she went over to the furnace and put some hay in it before lighting it on fire.
After the fire started, she took the mouthful of hay and waved it around like a torch. Words had remained not being said as she turned toward me, the fire on the straw she was holding was slowly moving toward her mouth. And with a smile, she dropped the burning plant on the wooden floor slowly causing the fire to build as the room started to get hazier from the smoke.

It was extremely obvious that this wasn't Spitefire, but the fact a Changling had infiltrated and was able to be good enough to get away with walking around as the leader of the Wonderbolts meant that this Changling was either really dumb, or really good.
But still, with nothing said, she walked out of the room causally as the fire that had started near the furnace had started to grow. The roar of the flames grew louder as my mind started to think a mile a minute.

A few initial calls for help were yelled by me, but no one came. I rammed my whole body into the cage door, but the bars remained firm. My heart was beating faster and faster as the fire drew close.
My cage was nearly surrounded by the flames as the fire was entering my cell. Tears were escaping my eyes, making my already hazy vision even worse as I began fearing what I would deem the inevitable.
I could hear over the fire a loud groun from the floor as I saw the iron furnace fall down through the floor as the boards gave out from under it. It was like a domino effect as the boards from the furnace that broke began to move towards my cage as the iron prison also fell onto the floor underneath. The landing hurt as the box cage had fallen over on its side, the bits of hay that was in it were flying around while the chair had landed next to me.

My landing wasn't pretty as I had fallen onto my side when the cage landed, effectively hurting my right arm; if not breaking it. My head was killing me as my ears began to ring. I couldn't help but notice that what had been originally the metal roof of the cage has been partially broken off from the fall. The pain in my arm grew as I climbed to my feet, but I couldn't afford to stop as the ceiling was starting to look like it would fall onto me at any moment.
I gave a push with my good arm as I felt a slight amount of give. Putting my whole body into it, I felt small movement as a shard of the roof broke off leaving a big enough hole for me to climb out.
One crucial thing though I had failed to notice was a furnace that had fallen to a close proximity to the cage. Within the moment of me climbing out, an explosion from the furnace happened leaving a hole in both the floor and wall while also effectively knocking me on my back with whitened vision and rigging ears from the sound.
I had wanted to get back up, but I just writhed in pain as I just felt myself unable to get up...

For the briefest of moments I was confused. I was on a bed, I wasn't tied down and I wasn't listening to some sort of heart monitor.

I could hear the sounds of crickets outside, perhaps it was night time? I could also hear the sounds of wheels rolling on a dirt path outside.

Was this a dream? I could have sworn I was left for dead on a burning airship. I tried moving but felt myself constrained, but upon further inspection, I was massively bandaged up. My right arm seemed to be in a cast, but torso was practically bandaged up entirely, but my legs were mostly wrapped up and my right foot seemed to have a single bandaid on it.
On my head I could feel a bandage wrapped around my forehead with my ears only feeling slightly sore.

I attempted to get up, and was able too. There wasn't too much light in the room, but after brief stumbling around, I accidentally knock over some sort of device on a type of counter.

A door opened as light filled the room.

"Carter, you're awake?" I squint my eyes for a second as I recognize the blue unicorn in front of me.

"Wow, I wasn't expecting to see you again Trixie." I could tell she was happy to see me up, but she walked over to me and ushered me back down onto the bed, and with how my body was still feeling, I happily complied.

"Trixie see's you knocked over my Music Box." She said as she levitated the radio device next to the bed.

"Heh heh... oops?" I say somewhat nervously as she just smiles in return. "Tell me Carter, what happened to you on that airship?"
I felt comfortable in the bed as I ask in return. "First can you tell me what happened while I was away? Quite honestly, I wasn't expecting to see you again."
"The Great And Powerful Trixie asked first... but will comply with your demands anyway." She sat down next to the bed as she began.

"Well... I suppose a good place to start would be after we got separated."
