> Celestia, has a cold. > by Mrchibivampire > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The only chapter. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna was walking down the castle halls, she was carrying a tray on her back and was on her way to her sisters room. She carefully opened the door and peeked inside. “Sister are you awake?” She whispered. A sniffing could be heard from Celestia’s bed, followed by a sneeze. “Atchoo! Yes, I’m awake.” Her sentence was followed by some coughing. Luna pushed the door open and walked inside, she closed the door once she was inside. She walked over to her sister bed and put the tray on her nightstand. “I brought you some porridge, I hope you feel well enough to eat, sister.” Celestia was sick, she had a fever, a runny nose, headache and the shivers, to put it simply she had the whole package. But there was one rather unusual thing about her body. Once she had fallen ill, her body had regressed itself to that of a young filly. It was nothing strange about it though, alicorns are basically begins of pure magical energy and when they are low on energy or when they get sick they can’t generate enough magic to maintain their normal physical form, thus often resulting in getting physically younger. If an alicorn somehow run out of magic they temporary fade from the mortal realm and travel to the spirit realm in order to regenerate magic quicker. So the whole physical regression is just the natural way of reducing an alicorns magical output. It prevents them from fading away and giving the ones nearby the scare of their lives. The castle servants had freaked out and chaos was on the edge of breaking out amongst them. Luna had managed to calm them all down, she told them about the condition and that there was nothing to worry about. Luna grabbed a tissue and placed it upon Celestia’s nose. “Blow your nose, sister!” Celestia took a deep breath and with the force of a thousand trumpets she blew her nose. Luna, fluffed up Celestia’s pillows and put them behind her back so she could sit comfortably. She grabbed the porridge with her magic and levitated the spoon up to Celestia’s mouth. “Open wide, litle sister.” Luna smirked. Celestia ignored her comment, she was too tired to actually care, besides if Luna wanted to care for her, she did not mind at all. Celestia opened her mouth and Luna pushed the a spoonful of porridge inside. “Ahh! Too hot!” Celestia spat the porridge back onto the spoon. Luna scrunched up her face in disgust. “Sister, please never do that again, it was nasty." Celestia, fanned her tongue with one of her hooves. “It was too hot. Could you please pour some milk in it?” “But sister, milk will make your throat all slimey. I can blow on it to cool it down, if you want me to.” “That would be nice, thanks you.” Luna levitated a new spoonful of porridge up to her own mouth and blew on it gently, she then pushed it into her sister mouth. “How is it?” “It’s nice, my compliments to the chief who made it.” Luna continued to feed her sister until the bowl was empty. She got another tissue and wiped her sisters mouth. Celestia, squirmed and tried to push Luna’s hoof away, but she was too weak in her current state. “Sister, please you are only making this a lot harder than it needs to be. I’m not going to let you get porridge all over your bed.” Celestia, tried to give Luna an annoyed stare, but she failed miserably, she just ended up pouting with her lower lip. Celestia rolled her eyes and said “Why don't you just get me a bib next time, little miss perfect.” A frown formed on Luna’s lips. “If you keep acting this way, maybe I will, little sister.” *Gulp.* "It was only a joke, sister, don’t get carried away. Hahahah” She laughed nervously. Luna’s frown turned itself upside down and she smiled at her sister. She reached over to the tray and grabbed two tablets, she put them in a glass of water, she swirled them around for a bit, once they had dissolved into the water she presented it to her sister. Celestia, stuck her tongue out and frowned just by looking at the glass. “Juck, that stuff is nasty. Do I have to?” “Sigh. Sister, this will make your fever go away and you will feel alot better.” Celestia, leaned back as far as she could, which was not that far, since she had pillows up against her back. Luna, put a hoof under her chin and a mischievous smile spread across her face. “Sister! Drink it, or else I’ll go get a baby bottle and I doubt you want me to bottle feed you, right?” A shiver went down Celestia’s spine, she grabbed the glass and drank it down as fast as she could. “All done! No need to get a bottle!” Luna, picked up her sister, so she could put the pillows back to their old position. “You should try to get some more rest now. I’ll come back and check on you in a bit okay, sister?” Celestia, put her head on one of her pillows and yawned. “That sounds like a great idea.” Luna pulled the covers over her sister and tucked her in, so she was snug as a bug. She leaned over and nuzzled her sister. “Sleep tight, sister. If you need me just ring the bell.” "Thanks for taking care of me, Luna, I really appreciate it.” Another yawn escaped. “You would have done the same for me, big sister-” Luna was interrupted by some heavy snoring. “Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz” Luna pick up the tray and sneaked out of the room, as quietly as she could. She walked back to her sisters room, once the moon had taken it’s place in the sky. She peeked into the room and saw her sister still sleeping peacefully. A smile spread across her lips. A loving, caring family truly is the best medicine, when you are sick. The end
