> Luna I'm Here > by JosephRascon1789 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The Return > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Damn! That! Blue! Box! Why doesn't it ever stop for me! The stupid thing nearly hit me last time, but it hasn't stopped yet. I heaved a heavy sigh and shook my head. Almost a thousands years to the date and I want to go back to see my Luna again. The cool ocean air was blowing my mane to the east as I watched the sky for the blue box. I could almost read what it said on the top the last time it flew by. That and the fact that the dumb thing busted my home I created out of wood hasn't helped how I see the stupid thing. I'm sure next time the box will stop, then I can go to Equestria. Unless the thing inside the box isn't friendly and tries to kill me. The thought sent a chill up my spine and I tried to calm down. I have to be strong. I know I will make it back. My love is still waiting for me. The sound that the box makes was approaching. I saw the boxes light in the distance and this time it was skidding against the field. I took a couple steps back and waited for it. It was slowing down and it started to make louder noise. Finally it came to a smooth stop right in front of me. There was a loud boom and the box officially became solid. The box was much bigger than me and I finally read what it said at the top. "Police Box? What's that?" I asked aloud. I knocked on the door with my hoof and waited for a response. The box did nothing, nor did the being inside. "I've had it! I didn't wait all this time and use every bit of my magic to get in contact with this thing just so it could sit in front of me." I yelled to the open air. I used my magic and surrounded the box in a aura. I was looking for a lock or a door of some sort. Finally my magic pin pointed the lock and I trotted to the other side to see it. It was just some standard key lock. "Somepony or something created a flying box with a standard house key lock?... Seems like a waste." I said. "I have got to learn to stop talking to myself." My magic slipped inside and I started picking the lock. Suddenly, without my magic, the door unlocked and opened. I carefully pushed the door open and popped my head inside. I was in awe of how big it was inside. I actually had to step back outside and trot around it to make sure it was the same box and not some trick. Finally I popped my head back inside. There was a strange orange light making everything visible. There was two stair cases leading to a weird table looking thing. Behind and to the left of the table looking thing, was two more stair cases. I couldn't see where they lead. I pushed my way inside and quietly closed the door behind me. Slowly, I trotted to the stair case and looked around. The center table thing was supported by a glass floor and I could trot straight up to it. I kept my head low and I took off the black metal hoof protectors. I don't want to seem like a invader. I took off all my black armor and set it next to the door. I went back to the bottom of the small stair case and took one last look around. Finally I went up and looked at the big table in the middle Wow it looks like it's made of a bunch of junk. I thought as I slowly trotted around the round table. "What?" Something said from behind me. I jumped and turned around. There was a weird creature looking at me. I got low to the ground an waited for the creature to make a move. "Aww poor little fellow. Did you get lost in here? I must have landed and unlocked the door by accident." The weird creature spoke in a soft tone, but he had a strange accent. "Wait .... No...... It can't be... Your a unicorn!" The creature said as it stumbled down the stairs. I took a couple steps back and watched at the creature advanced. It trotted on it's hind legs and had a strange color coat of fur. I had to look up to meet it's gaze. "Ello little fella. I'm the Doctor. Now lets see where you come from." He turned back to look at his table. The creature pulled a strange looking box to his face. "That's impossible." It said then looked back at me. "You can't exist. there's nothing out there..... Oh it's not like you understand. Your just a horse thing." "Hold on there is a whole world out there. And for you information I'm a pony stallion." I said with out thinking. The creature stopped and looked at me. It's eyes went wide and it stood still just looking at me. "In all my travels I never met a talking unicorn. I met a unicorn once but nothing like you." The creature said while looking down at his table thing. "Now you say there is a whole world out there, but out there is the void of space and time. Nothing can exist in the void." "I've been here for a thousand years and I think I would know if there was nothing there." I replied. "Thousand years? That's..... Well I'm about the same age now so I can't say it's impossible." The thing said as he looked at the door. "If you want to see it's just behind that door." I said smugly. "Well I guess I could have a pe- OW!" The creature fell to the floor and curled up. "Are you okay?" I asked as I came to its side. He rolled over and laid on the floor. "I got so caught up in meeting you that I forgot it's almost time for me to leave." "What do you mean? You can't leave! I don't know what to do." It smiled and coughed. "Don't worry. My people have a special ability to save us from death. You might want to stand back." The creature started to glow and a strange aura started to come from his body. The energy started flowing on me and I jumped back. The energy sent a blast that knocked me on to my back. The creature started screaming as the weird energy flowed out of it's body. After about thirty seconds of screaming and blinding light the room became quite and the orange glow was the only thing lighting up the room. I got up and looked to where the creature was last at. There was a pile of cloth and a lump in the middle. "Hey are you okay?" I asked while inching closer. "Ugh my head. Wait... Why can't I see anything. Oh no! I was regenerated with out eyes this time!" The Doctor yelled from inside the stack of cloths. I used my magic and removed the cloth. When it was gone a brown earth pony was looking around confused. He had dark brown mane the look spiked and a medium sized spikey tail. He turned and looked at me confused and scared. He had light blue eyes and an hour glass cutie mark. "What are you looking at?" He asked. I said nothing and just waited for him to explain why he became a pony. He tried standing on his hind legs and instantly fell down. "Why do I feel so unstable. I regenerated just fi-...." The Doctor looked at a mirror. He raised his fore legs to his face and looked back at his hooves. "How is this possible? This shouldn't have hap-.... Did you feel something when I regenerated? Where you holding me?" He asked. "Yes. When you were regenerating I felt a weird sensation in my hooves and I jumped away." I whispered. His eyes went wide and he smiled. "Oh that is brilliant! I can't believe it works like that. Well lets see what I got this time." He began examining his body in the mirror. "STILL NOT GINGER!" He yelled. After shaking his hoof in the air and calming down he started taking a liking to his new body. "Well It could have been much worse..... I think. Hey could this have been worse?" He asked I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The creature had changed his whole body to a ponies body and he just continues, like nothing happened. "Hey little unicorn? Do I look bad?" He asked again. "What. Oh sorry. No it could have been much worse. You could have been a pink stallion with no mane. Or you could have been a short chubby little colt. So the fact that you are a slim normal sized male pony with a brown coat and dark brown mane is great." "Ah good. Okay now you were talking about the void being a whole world?" He asked as he tried to move on his hind legs. "Yes and you might want to try being on all four of your hooves." I said. He looked down and placed his fore hooves on the ground. "That actually feels better. Now lets take a look outside. I'm going to call your bluff." ---------------- "I can not believe that... There has never been anything out there." The Doctor said as we reentered the box. "Yes I couldn't believe that world either... Doctor was it?" I said feeling a little embarrassed. "Yes. Just the Doctor. Now I never got you name or back story. Please would you inform me where you come from because I have never seen anything like you in all my travels." The Doctor asked. "I'm from Equestria. My name is Lighting Bolt and... That's really all that needs to be said for now." I said while thinking about home. The Doctor ran up to his table thing and pulled a box up to his face. He spoke the word Equestria and said nothing more. I'm not sure what happened, but his face went grim and his smile disappeared. "That doesn't exist in the TimeLord data banks. I think this planet you call Equestria is long gone." The Doctor said with heavy sadness. The words went into my heart and shattered it. I felt like there was something stopping me from breathing. I became light headed and I had to use a rail to hold myself up. "It's not true Doctor! I know it's still there." I said. "I'm sorry. I truly am. There is no Equestria in any data banks. It can't exist." He said as he looked back at his table. Tears blurred my vision and my heart was skipping beats. "Doctor I lived in Equestria before I came here and I'm sure it's still there. My magic got me here!" "Wait your magic?" He asked. "I'm a Unicorn. I posses magical powers and those powers got me here." I said while holding back tears. He jumped over to me and placed a hoof on my shoulder. "That's it! Those powers might be able to get you home." I looked up with a smile. "How Doctor?" "Well in the void there is suppose to be nothing, but when you got here there was a whole world outside For that to happen there has to be a crack allowing real world energy to leak in. The world you see outside is there only because you came through." "Doctor I'm not getting it." "The leak is connected to you. That energy or magic ripped a hole in space and time to set you in a time lock. The void is like a big zoo habitat and you are the master of it. That's why you could create the house, and all the supplies you had. That's why you didn't die of hunger or thirst." I finally got what it meant. Discord said my magic would take me to a place where I would live there for eternity. The magic opened a hole to the void and created me a world to live in. That was the power of dis-harmony. He spoke quickly as he walked around his table. "Now the only way for the TARDIS to lock on to that crack is a trace amount of magic to the core." "Equestrian Doctor." "I'll suppose you didn't get it and I will make it a bit simpler. This is my ship. It's called the TARDIS and it can travel any where in space and time. But it has enough power to travel through the crack. It just needs a bit of your magic to find the crack." He opened a section of his table and there was a bright light shooting out of it. "Aim your magic for the console!" The Doctor yelled. I fired a magic bolt into the light and shut my eyes. "Get ready for a ride! ALLONS-Y!" The Doctor threw a lever down and the TARDIS started shaking violently. It was making a weird noise, but that was the least of my worries. I had a hard time keeping my balance and I was feeling light headed. I looked at the Doctor and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He was smiling and trotting around the console pulling levers and checking pieces. Finally it stopped moving. The sound stopped and the Doctor looked at his box. "Oh no!" He yelled. Feeling a bit better I stood on all four of my hooves and shook my head. "What happened Doctor?" His face looked grim and he didn't look like the Doctor from a couple seconds ago. "The crack has been sealed. There is no way I can go back." "I so sorry Doctor." I said while looking away. "Well it could be worse. The TARDIS could have never made it through the crack and we would be stuck in the void until we found a different crack to a different universe. Plus I'm not sure to many people would like this new form." He said while re-examining himself in the mirror. "You are an optimist. That is a great quality." I said feeling the light head-ness return. He looked at me and smiled."When you go everywhere in the universe, you meet some things that don't like you and they will stop at nothing to make sure you are gone. I have to have something to enjoy in that situation." "Yeah um Doctor.... D-Do you have anything to eat. I think my body is changing, and it just realized I haven't eaten anything in a thousand years." I said while supporting myself on a railing. "Ah yes." He said while helping me move on my hind legs. "Come on. Let's get you something to eat before you die." --------------- A large meal consisting of all kinds of fruit and vegetables was presented to me and I didn't waist time. After 10 minuets I had cleared all the plates given to me, along with enough water to fill a lake. After dinner the Doctor lead me to strange room where hundreds of cloths were hanging off hangers. "Doctor... What are you doing?" I asked. "Well I need something to wear." He said as he pulled on a tuxedo. "Doctor there is no need to wear anything. Our fur coats are all we need. We only wear cloths to fancy events." I said while retrieving my armor. The Doctor came to my side. "Are you serious? You just really walk around with no cloths?" I trotted to the door and looked back. "I'm not sure what "walk" is, but does it look like I'm serious?" He got to my side and nodded. "Don't worry Doctor you'll love Equestria. It's beautiful." I opened the door and looked around. The TARDIS landed in an ally-way made of cobblestone. I figured we landed some where in Canterlot so I motioned the Doctor to follow me. He came out of the TARDIS and tried to lock the door with the key in his hoof. Needless to say the key fell many times before I used my magic to lock the door. We walked out and I was horrified. The streets were lined with homeless ponies who looked tired and depressed. The whole town was grey and depressing and I couldn't get the smell of sewage out of my nose. "I really think you need your eyes checked, because this looks filthy." The Doctor said while trying to cover his nose. I said nothing and just trotted forward looking at the condition of the ponies. Street after street nothing got better. Ponies were huddled under patched blankets or make shift tents. There was all kind of coughing, sniffling, and moaning on every street. Pools of dirty water, among other things, where in every crack the rough cobblestone road was filled with the mysterious liquid. We got to the center of town and the conditions were even worse. There was a fountain in the center of the disaster that was called a city. Ponies were using the tainted water to wash the rags that they used as cloths. Stands were set up and they had only scraps of food for sale. Foals cried in the hooves of their mothers and fillys and colts galloped through the city center trying to take things from each other. Just as I was about to tell the Doctor to go back to the TARDIS somepony called my name. I looked around and saw nopony I knew. When I turned to face the Doctor there was a very old mare examining me. "May I help you?" I asked. She continued staring deeply into my eyes and said nothing. Her eyes went wide upon realization of something. "It is you! The lover of the immortal. The one who fought Celestia and won! You are Lighting Bolt!" She exclaimed. "Please come with me. I have something for you." I watched as the older mare started down one of the main streets at a slow pace. How? How does this old mare know who I am? I thought. Finally the Doctor spoke up. "Do you know that pony?" He asked. "She looks familiar, but I'm not sure." "Well she knows you. I say we find out where we are and why it is such a bad condition." The Doctor suggested. "Fine." --------------- The walk trough town was terrible. Ponies everywhere looked beat and broken. Foals clung to their mothers for warmth. Colts and fillys cried of empty stomachs, but nopony was there to hear them. We arrived at a cobblestone house covered posters that were so faded they couldn't be read. When we entered the house the site didn't get much better. There were two other ponies in the house. There was a mare laying on a couch and a stallion tending to her. The stallion turned around and raised an eye brow. He was a bigger stallion and his body looked built. He had brown eyes and a brown mane that was curly. He had a light orange coat and his cutie mark was a hammer and nail. "Grandma who is this?" The stallion asked. The elderly mare continued on her path to another room. "It's time." The stallion shot a look at me and the Doctor. "That's impossible. It's just a family legend." "Excuse me, but what is going on?" I asked. "Oh. My grand mother just pulled you off the street without saying anything?" The stallion asked. I nodded. "Oh. Well time for proper introduction. My name is Lumber Work." He said while looking back at the mare on the couch. "This is my wife Gentle Wind. We are expecting a foal soon." The Doctor jumped out from behind me. "Congratulation." He smiled and moved a cover over his wife. "Thank you. So what's your names?" "The Doctor." "Lighting Bolt." The stallion's eyes went wide. "Li-Lighting Bo-Bolt?" "Yes?" I answered. "A thousand years. It's impossible!" He yelled. What's your real name!" I was really gone for a thousand years. I thought. "Hush now." Said a gentle voice. "There is no need for this violence." Lumber turned around and saw his wife had awoken. He keeled down started running a hoof through her mane. "Who are the visitors?" She asked weakly. "Ello I'm the Doctor." "Lumber why did you call a Doctor? I'm doing just fine. They need to be at the hospital helping the ponies there." She said while sitting up. "Oh no. I'm not that kind of Doctor. My name is the Doctor." He said while rubbing the back of his neck. "Doctor Who? What's you name?" Lumber asked. "Just the Doctor." He said with a little smile. "Well Doctor, who is your friend?" Gentle asked. I stepped forward. "My name is Lighting Bolt." She sat up and stared at me with eyes as wide as suns. "Lighting? Like the story?" She asked her husband. "No I think he's just toying with us." Lumber said bitterly. "Hush now you varmit!" The old mare shouted as she entered the room. "That is Lighting Bolt. The family legend is true and I'm going to prove it to ya'. This box has been passed down generation to generation going all the back to the peaceful time. Twelve generations later I'm the one who has the opportunity and the privilege to meet you." Her magic was weak, but she levitated a old wooden box into view. "This box has been through so much and no matter how hard they tried to get it, our family was able to keep it hidden. Almost burned down with the house during the last raid. But some how it survived the flames. Now it's your's." I used my magic to grab hold of the box. When I pulled it closer I noticed scratch marks all over it. Upon further examination, I realized the markings were names. The newest looking name was Calm Wind. "The box was always guarded by on selected member of our family all the way back to the first name. scratched on top." Ruby Heart. It took a couple seconds to remember, but when I did, her name hit me like a ton of bricks. The Nurse!!! Luna's servant! "It's said that in that box there is a note from Ruby herself. Nopony in our family dared look inside. Now we can finally see what's inside." I used my magic and silence filled the air. There was a tiny click and the box creaked open. Silence took the room again. "Well what is it?" Lumber asked. "M-my old picture book and journal." > 1000 Years of Death Ends Today! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Lighting Bolt It's been a couple years since the wedding of princess Celestia and Night Shade. Ponies don't ask to many questions about the day the moon rose at ten in the morning. I know for a fact that was you. My life has been great. I met a stallion and we had two foals. One is named Lighting just like you. I hope you saw princess Luna before her "transformation." She visited our town the day after the early moon. She greeted me as if nothing was wrong, but she asked me to keep a deep secret. Something that couldn't be told to any pony besides you. You were the reason for this secret and I was glad she told me before it happened. She created a secret army and was on her way to attack Canterlot. She warned me to go as far away from Canterlot as possible. Before she left she gave me two things. She left me your journal and a scroll that was never to be opened by anypony besides you. It's magically sealed and she said you would know the way to open it. I'm setting the box with a magic lock, but I'm pretty sure my daughter will not open it. Just in case I never see you again, I would like to make one thing very clear. Luna said the contents of the scroll she left you could end any conflict. I hope I am the one who gets to deliver the box to you, but if I don't then one of my kids will take the responsibility. One day you will have this box and the scroll. I hope you will know what to do with it. Sincerely yours Ruby Heart. P.S. Don't let her get away. She loves you remember? "Ma great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandma wrote that over 1000 years ago." The old mare said wiping tears from her eyes. "The family secret and mission has been fulfilled." "I need to know everything about the war." I said with rage building up. "What do you mean sonny?" The elderly mare asked. "I want to know what happened while I was gone." The old mare raised a hoof then thought for a second. "Lumber, go put some tea over the fire. It's a long story to tell." Lumber nodded and left his wife's side to grab something from the kitchen. "It all started 1000 years ago when princess Celestia got married to Night Shade. There was a rumor going around Equestria saying princess Luna had returned because somepony broke her out. Nopony paid much attention. During the wedding, Luna busted in and said Celestia would pay for the great crime she committed. She said the Celestia killed her lover and continued as normal. After that nothing happened for a couple days. Then came the first strike by the newly formed New Lunar Republic. They destroyed statues, posters, and murals of Celestia. In their place where huge painted letters or posters the read VICTORY FOR THE NLR. Luna found a gang of rebels to help her fight her sister. Now back then there were no front lines. The NLR attacked at night, but eventually Celestia's guards caught one of Luna's fighters and he was hung in the middle of Canterlot. They left his body as a message to the rest of the NLR. Of course Luna didn't take anytime to respond. Her fighters killed two guards on patrol right outside Canterlot castle and left their bodies. Now after a couple years of back ally killing and propaganda, Luna had a sizable army and she took over most of the western sea board. That's when the war kicked into full gear. Luna convinced her subjects to fight and Celestia did the same. For twenty straight years, foals were born into a world at war. They were brain washed into fighting for their princess and it was honorable to fight and die to protect your life style. For many years the ponies of the army's acted with strict orders and they did nothing to harm civilians. That changed when the war started being fought in the shadows. Both sides would raid towns for supplies, stallions to fight, and mares for....... fun. The war had no bounds after fifty years. Everything was cleared, as long as it helped one side prevail. After two-hundred years, some ponies began to question the war. Those ponies moved away and started little towns with no intention of joining a side. At two-hundred and fifty years, there were towns like that everywhere on both sides. Some of those ponies ventured far to areas where nopony had control and set up towns for peaceful living. It didn't take long for those towns to be used. Soldiers would come into towns and take everything. If somepony tried to stop them, they were labeled traitors and taken away. They took all the food, clean water, and forced some stallions to fight to pay off 'debts'. Our family stayed in a controlled town until about ninety years ago. I was just a little filly when mah' Grandma lost her life to Celestia's guards. They said they need to check our house for something, but my Grandma refused. They tried to get in, but mah' parents kept them out. Late that night they set fire to our house and left it to burn. My Ma' and Pa' got me out and watched as the house we lived in since the war started, burned to the ground. We left to a friends house then went back in the morning......" She started tearing up. "We found our Grandma's body over a piece of the floor. S-s-he used herself to defend the secret compartment..... where the box was hidden." "I'm so sorry." The Doctor said while setting a hoof on her shoulder. "This war has claimed so many lives. It's my job to stop it." I pushed up on all fours and put on my black armor. "Don't be daft! You have to do a lot of planning before doing something this stupid." The Doctor called out just as I reached the door. "Please just wait. Think about what you are going to do before you run out there looking like a NLR soldier." Lumber said while cutting me off. "I've endangered you already. This scroll had an insane amount of magic guarding it. I'm one-hundred percent sure Celestia could detect this magic. In fact I think she has sent guards here right now." I said while moving him. "Please just let me take you out of town. You have no clue where you are going." Lumber said becoming stronger. I groaned and put a hoof on my face. "If you insist." He let out a sigh and quickly kissed his wife good bye. "I'll be right back." We left the house and galloped through the street. We didn't stop for anypony as we made our way from street to street. Ponies looked at me funny, but some cheered as we went by. "Any reason for the celebration?" I asked. "Well.... Let's just say you are a legend across Equestria. That armor your wearing isn't exactly part of the NLR. It's one of a kind and they know it. *huff* Plus our story *huff* actually legend was told across Equestria." Ponies cheered and celebrated as we made our way to the end of a street that lead to rolling hills and off in the distance I could see a forest. Suddenly something landed in front of us. We came to a screeching stop. The pony extended it'swings and stared at us. It was a white furred pony, but the mane and tail were hidden under his red armor. "Oh please no! Not one of them!" Lumber shouted while rattling on his hooves. "What is it?" "One of Celestia's personal hit squad. It's a Trojan." Lumber said while jumping behind me. "Give me the scroll." It said in a deep raspy voice. "Take it from my cold dead HOOVES!" I yelled and shot a blast of magic. The Trojan had no time to react. He was hit and froze. "Did you kill it?" He asked. "No just paralyzed. He is sleeping sort of....." I said while re thinking my spell. "Don't say he...." Lumber said with anger. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Celestia breeds these things. They are not real ponies. They just serve one purpose. Take orders, get killed, get replaced."He said while turning back. "Wait." Lumber turned back. "Tell the Doctor.... Thank you." "Will do. Follow that road to the next town. And try not to get in trouble." He said with a smile. "Can't make any promises." I said while galloping down the trail. This will be over! I will make her pay for these crimes against these ponies. I won't fail! I won't falter! I will be with Luna again! Even if it kills me..... again!. > The Warrior and The Doctor > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Warning there is a small section of gore toward the end of this chapter. Please read at your own risk.... (It's not that bad but I feel like I just need to get it out there) Me and the Doctor followed a dusty dirt road that stretched over the rolling hills. After a full day of trotting down the road we set up a camp. The night sky was devoid of any stars and the moon was full and bright. "That's impossible....." The doctor was looking around for something in the sky. "There must be other planets around... Or at least one star." "Doctor. Luna controls the night sky and if she isn't happy or is focused on something else, she just raises the moon. Nothing more... Nothing less." I replied. "There is no way one creature can control everything in the universe." He was starting to get agitated. "Not even the Time Lords had that kind of power." I raised a brow. "Look Doctor, this place might not function like your universe. Luna and Celestia control the sun and moon. It's that simple." The Doctor raised a hoof to protest then stopped. He put it under his chin and looked at the ground. "I suppose it's possible. There is something wrong here. I can feel it." I pulled a blanket over my body and rested my head on a pile of dirt. "Well Doctor, if there is something wrong then we'll fix it. Good night." --------------- Morning came quicker than I expected. Sun beams shot through the blanket and made my body extremely warm. When I was fully awake, I was covered in sweat and dirt. I'd kill for a shower.... or at the very least a river. I looked to where the Doctor slept, but he was gone. "Doctor?" I whispered. "Doctor are you around?" A twig snapped and I jumped out from under the blanket. "Ah good to see your awake." The Doctor stepped out from behind a little bush. His mane and tail were stuck to his body almost as if... "Doctor did you take a bath?" He smiled. "Why yes I did. Now about the trip..." "Uh Doctor I would like to get a little bit cleaned up to." "Ah. Right... Follow me." We went through a small forest and came to the banks of a river. After cleaning off we set off on the trail to find the next neutral town. We couldn't have been far from it now. The journey was long and silent as we followed the trail. The rolling hills flattened out into a small forest. The tress gave shade and we were grateful for it. As we pushed along the trail I noticed something in the dirt path. I stuck my hoof out in front of the Doctor. "Doctor did you n..." The Doctor cut me off. "Yes." There were hoof prints everywhere in this trail. There were so many indentations that the trail was no longer smooth. They all faced the same direction we were heading. Finally the Doctor broke the silence. "Do you think they set up a trap up the road?" I thought for a second. "No. If they did that then they would cover their tracks. Unless they are really stupid." "What say you? Push on or stay here?" The Doctor asked. I smiled. "Only one option for me." "Good." We continued down the path ready for anything we could encounter. In the distance there was a thin trail of black smoke. --------------- "Why?" "I-I don't know Doctor. I just..... don't know." "War is the same in every universe." We stood at the entrance of what used to be a town. Everything was charred and blackened by a fire. We started trotting through the town and every where, there was something that made me sick. Burned bodies, the smell of rotting flesh and burnt wood made me nauseous. By the look on the Doctor's face he didn't fair much better. We arrived in the town center and saw the worst of the attack. Stallions were lying in pools of dried blood, blindfolded, and their hooves tied up. They were publicly executed. "There are no rules in war." The Doctor stomped a hoof. "This shouldn't happen!" "Just because it shouldn't doesn't mean it won't." I replied coldly. BANG The Doctor hit the floor and I jumped to see where the sound was coming from. I scanned the area and I couldn't see and visible pony figure. "Doctor I think it's safe." I said while trotting away from him. He didn't move. "Doctor? Are you okay?" I asked. "Shh." I raised a brow and did as he said. He tapped his hoof on the ground and put his ear directly down. "Oh that's brilliant!" He jumped up and smiled. "What is it Doctor?" "There is an underground tunnel system. If you can use your magic to trace it then we might find survivors.I think that bang was from a survivor!" The Doctor said happily. I smiled and quickly drummed up some magic to scan the ground. When it found a hollow spot I centered my magic and blew a hole open. The top layer of dirt fell into a hole. There was silence until the Doctor stuck his head inside. "Kill him!" I grabbed the Doctor's tail and pulled his head out of the hole. Spears shot out of the hole. "That's why you don't go poking your head in places you shouldn't." I said. He rubbed the back of his neck. "You'd be surprised." I advanced to the hole. "Hello?" "Just leave us alone! We won't come out you bastards! We'll fight to the death!" I used my magic to scan the tunnel. There were about 20 full grown ponies and a couple foals around the hole. I found a spot where nopony was standing and busted a second hole. I jumped in as soon as the tunnel collapsed. The dust and dirt made sure the ponies inside didn't see me. I used my magic to bring my armor out of my bag and quickly slipped it on. When the dust settled I stood tall and looked at the ponies at the hole. I really hope Lumber's stories did get around Equestria. If not, then I'm dead. The sun light glistened of my black armor and I waited for the ponies to react. All their eyes studied me. One set of eyes went wide and I knew I was safe. "It's him! The warrior in black! He is back!" A mare yelled. The spears came down and ponies surrounded me. The Doctor looked in the hole and looked at me funny. "Oi! How come they didn't try and kill you?" He asked. I just smiled back. "Everyone this is my friend. He calls himself the Doctor." We shook hooves with everyone and I patched up the holes in the ground. We followed them to a large room and sat there while they got the other survivors. There were only a few stallions. Most of the ponies were mares, fillys, or colts. "What happened here?" I asked while everypony gathered around. A stallion stepped forward. "Celestia's soldiers marched into the town late last night. They were searching for you." "She knows I'm back and that means her power is at stake. I'm so sorry for what I've caused and I promise to make things right." Suddenly there was a loud crash. "For the Empire!" The ponies started backing away. "They found us!" I stood up and trotted to the hallway. "No more!" Celestia's soldiers rounded a corner and held their position. The looked at my armor and I could see the hatred on their face. "I am going to give you one chance to leave this place unharmed." I said in a low grumble. "By order of Princess of the Solar Empire we will take you into custody or kill you!" A single guard yelled. "Try me." The guards shot bolts of magic, but I quickly put up a shield. They tried to collapse the roof over my head, but my magic was stronger and it held the roof up. One guard charged at me with his spear at the ready. I stood still and waited. When his spear made contact with my armor, the spear head snapped and stuck into the wall. He looked up at me with complete fear. I didn't budge. He slowly backed away, but his commander yelled. "Kill him!" He stood on his hind legs and tried to hit me. I used my magic to freeze him in place. "I'm only going to say it one more time. Leave or die." The commander laughed. "You are foolish! Giving orders to us when you are the one out numbered. Stallions.... Charge!" Row after row of his soldiers came at me. the short hallway made it impossible for them to spread out and attack. They were sitting ducks. I threw the guard I froze at them and charged my magic. I set a field of magic in front of me. It surrounded the hall way and trapped the soldiers. A box of magical walls formed around the soldiers. They were trapped and I slowly started closing the box. "Surrender. Or your stallions will die." I said. The faces on the stallions inside quickly changed from anger and hate, to pure fear. The commander didn't budge. "Do it." The stallions inside looked back. "They're expendable." They looked at each other then at me. The stunning fact sunk in, They were going to die. "Please don't kill us!" "I don't want to die." "I have a family!" They we pleading, crying, and begging not to die. "All of you shut up!" The commander yelled. "Die with some honor!" Our eyes were locked and neither of us blinked. Finally I came up with an idea. I teleported next to the commander and locked him inside a magical box. He tried to use his magic to break it, but nothing happened. "Stallions of the Solar Empire. Do you surrender?" I asked. "Yes." They said in unison. "Commander. Do you surrender?" I asked. He scoffed. "I would never surrender." Just what I wanted you to say. "So be it." The box started shrinking and the commander started to panic. I could feel his heart rate increase, but he didn't show it. Finally the walls started touching him and forcing him to become smaller. He crouched and got low but it only bought him a couple extra seconds. The walls were upon him again and there was no where to run. I started applying pressure and I could hear him start to squirm. Finally I put on full pressure and box started closing faster. Soon the commander started screaming and I could her the bones snapping. Blood started to fill the box as it became tighter. The soldiers watched in horror as the box was almost half the commanders size. There was no more screaming, but bones snapping filled the hallway with noise. Finally the box was to small for its contents and I set it aside. I released the soldiers and pointed a hoof to the exit. They couldn't get out fast enough. Just before they were out of ear shout I yelled. "The Warrior lets you live today." I was glad that I separated myself from the towns ponies using a magical barrier. I sent the box away and lowered the barrier. Everypony started cheering and celebrating. "Hear my words!" I yelled. "Spread the story across Equestria. The Warrior is back!" > A way to end the war > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neutral outpost 7 North of the Everfree Forest "Are you sure that isn't just some rumor?" The Doctor asked. The brown stallion set his cup down and looked him dead in the eye. "I swear. My family held on to a war journal written by our great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather. In it he talks about an artifact so powerful that Celestia herself destroyed it because she didn't want it to fall into Luna's hooves." The Doctor looked back and I raised a brow. "Well I love a good story about the past. Go on then." 900 years ago Hammer Head "Hammer do you see them?" A voice called out to me. "Yeah. Celestia's soldiers are really trying to fight off Luna's defense force." I replied from a bush. "Hey Luna gave us the signal. It's time" We encased our heads in our armor and prepared for the surprise attack. We were some of Princess Luna's strongest and feared warriors. We are descendants of the Dark Warrior himself. The Shadows are the blood thirsty assassins of the Republic. We began our descent from the hill where we watched the fight. Ground Shaker was about to use the distraction spell to get Luna's hoof soldiers out. I raised a hoof and looked back. "3...2...1" I whispered. His horn flared and a large crack headed right for the connection between the bridge and the ground that supported it. Celestia's soldiers packed to that spot to force Luna's soldiers back to the castle doors. Little did they know it was a trap, and when they felt the ground shake, it was to late. The ground under them collapsed and they fell into the deep chasm filled with sharp rocks. Their screams of pain and the ground breaking filled the air for a couple of seconds. The soldiers followed the crack up to the four of us. We stood in our black armor and watched over them, they couldn't see any part of our real bodies. That's how we earned our names. They say that we are just shadows, not living things. Their spears and swords fell to the ground and they cowered in fear. I looked back to another soldier of mine named Black Heart. Her magic ability surpassed mine and she was known for her death shields. I nodded and her horn started to glow. A red aura trapped what was left of Celestia's soldiers. We approached them and watched as they pleaded with themselves, saying how it couldn't be real. Shining Night made a bridge with his magic to get Luna's soldiers across the destroyed bridge. Suddenly, Celestia's guards started laughing and smiling. "Here they come! Just like Celestia promised! Run in fear Shadows. The Trojans are here to kill you." "Sir we have four incoming targets from the south." I looked back and saw four dots coming in fast. "Battle positions! Cover the soldiers out." I yelled. "Heart.... you know what to do." I couldn't see the facial reaction. I just knew she followed orders. There were screams for mere seconds then only the sound of the shocked soldiers we were protecting. "Inform Luna that reinforcements have arrived." Ground called out. The four dots approached with lighting speed and dived to the ground directly across from the us. When the dust cleared, four ponies stood silently in golden armor. Their faces were covered just like ours, but the parts of their body that were reviled showed white fur. I stepped forward and prepared myself for a fight. I charged up a blast and planted my hooves in the ground. When I let the magic bolt fly, I couldn't believe the speed at which a defense shield was raised. As soon as the bolt disappeared, a Trojan jumped out and kicked me with it's right hind leg. The force of the impact sent me flying into a tree. I almost knocked out, but my squad gathered around me and waited for the Trojans to attack. I rose back up on all fours and felt hate grow. I teleported and returned the kick then I teleported again to where it was flying. I smashed it into the ground with my fore hooves. A small crater surrounded the pony and I thought it was dead. I was about to teleport away, when the pony pushed itself out of the ground. It balanced itself on its right fore hoof and spun around delivering another kick to the face. I landed near my squad and pushed myself up again. All out fighting took control as we teleported to attack. The sound of armor hitting armor and bone shattering impacts from hitting each other was all I could hear. It seemed like no matter how fast we were, they were just faster and could take more pain. Next thing I knew I was pinned by a Trojan. I struggled to pry his hooves off me. His magic held me down as it raised its left fore hoof reviling a hidden blade. I tried moving, but nothing worked. I watched it slowly lower the knife to my armor. Just as it touched my armor I heard a loud scream. "Captain!" Ground Shaker threw himself on the Trojan and caused it to fall over. I jumped up and looked around. The Trojan was slow to get up, but Ground Shaker jumped to his hooves. I raised my right fore hoof in approval. I knew he was smiling and I couldn't help but grin. Then a glimmer appeared behind Shaker. Before I could even yell, a spear punched through him. It was covered in blood and a piece of Shaker's armor was folded around the head of the spear. His body went limp and he was kicked to the ground. His helmet fell off and rolled on the ground. I looked back to see Shining Night looking back at me. He didn't see the Trojan behind him. A sword pierced his armor, then a second sword went through his neck. Black Heart had teleported to my side and put a shield around us. "Captain what do we do?" The four golden ponies gathered around the shield and stared at us. "I-I'm not sure." I replied. I just watched two of my best stallions die and now I was trapped with no way out except death. "This shield isn't for protection. It's just a basic defense shield." She whispered. "Well I guess I had this coming a long time now." I said while getting closer to the edge of the barrier. "Take care of the foal and please escape." "W-What do you mean?! I'm staying here and dying by your side.... Remember? Till death do us part." She was starting to choke up. I looked back and charged my magic. "I love you." I teleported her inside the castle and shed a single tear. The shield fell and just as I closed my eyes and drew my last breath, I felt a gust of wind. When I opened my eyes they were gone. "Where did they go?" I asked the air. Then I felt heat around me. A bright light I the sky screamed in from the west. I looked toward the castle and realized that a magic blast was heading for the castle. The item Luna wanted must have been powerful, because Celestia was about to destroy it along with anypony in the near by area. I saw a flash of light and Princess Luna was holding Black Heart. I was happy that she took my wife away from here. This area was about to be scorched. I teleported to a hill far away to watch this magic shot destroy the castle. When I saw Luna, I signaled for her to land. I could hear Black Heart struggle to break free of Luna's grip and when she did I was hit with a fore hoof. "D-Don't ev-ever scare me l-like that again!" She latched on to me and cried into my armor. I wrapped my hooves around her and held her tight. "You had to raise a foal for me. I couldn't live if you died." I felt tears come out of my own eyes. Luna landed and spoke in a strong, but caring voice. "Captain I'm glad to see you were willing to give you life for the life of your spouse. You.... remind me of my l-lover." The ball of magic hit the castle, but that isn't what surprised me. Just as she said the last word, I could swear I could see a tear on Luna's cheek. "Did you find the artifact Princess?" "No, but now, I'm sure its destructive power will never see this war." I took off my helmet and looked at the destruction. Not much remained of the EverFree forest. When I looked down, Black Heart was still crying. I removed her helmet and put a hoof under her chin. Her tear soaked eyes locked with mine. "I love you Ruby Heart." "My real name.... I forgot it after so long in this war. I love you to." We shared a passionate kiss as the fires raged in the distance. Present time "What's so important about that?" I asked. The stallion flipped to the next page, but it was blank. I started to get angry at the time I had spent here. "Well look at that." The Doctor broke my train of thought. I looked back down and the stallion's horn was glowing. Words faintly appeared and I continued reading. 900 years ago As much as I want to believe that the artifact is destroyed, I could have sworn I saw something gleaming when the the castle fell. I'm not to sure simply because it might have been a tear out of my eyes or my armor that caught the suns angle perfectly. If I were to take a guess, I doubt something as powerful as Luna claims would be destroyed by magic. It's not my place to ask and after losing two of my closet friends, I don't feel it to be to important. If Luna believes its gone then its gone. Present time "So if what this is saying is true then there is a way to stop the war in that crater?" The Doctor said happily. "I know it might not be there, but if it is there then the Dark Warrior can find it and use it's power to end the war." He looked around and motioned us to get closer. "Please do this for us. I don't want to be in constant fear anymore. I just want to settle down with my wife and have a normal life." Tears were flowing down his cheeks. "Please." "You have my word. If I can find it then I will use it to end the war." I started for the door and the Doctor followed closely behind. "What if that thing isn't there?" He asked. I took a second to think about it then flatly answered, "I don't know." "So we are going to an old abandoned war zone in the middle of a dark forest, that might still be protected, with no plan?" The Doctor asked. "Sure." "Sounds like fun. Count me in." --------------- The Everfree forest was easy to travel through. It seemed like armies marched through the forest before. There was a clear path that plants seemed to stay away from. We followed the road and eventually we got to the crater made by Celestia's attack. It was about a mile long, and a couple hundred feet deep. You could clearly see to the other side of the crater and beyond. As we made our way down the crater, I was surprised that there were no guards there defending the artifact from either side. There wasn't much to see at the bottom, but there were pieces of the castle. We searched for all of ten minuets. There wasn't much to find in the giant hole the must have been checked a thousand times over before. The Doctor was using some kind of shiny stick that made a weird noise. The Doctor stopped looking and called out. "Well that's odd." I trotted towards him. "Is there something wrong Doctor?" He looked back and set the stick in his hoof. "Well according to the screw driver, there is a strange power source near by. It's faint, but its enough to still be alive." He set the screw driver back in his mouth and started looking around. Finally he stopped and pointed. I almost knocked him over with the force I had when I looked. There was a strange crystal under a pile of rubble. It was so hard to see because of the dust that covered it, but it had a weak glow. I used my magic to pull it out and clean it. The crystal was dark blue in color and shaped like a fine cut diamond. "Well is this the all powerful artifact that is going to stop the war?" The Doctor asked eagerly. "No.... It's just a memory crystal. Only Unicorns can use theses to produce a signal. They leave little voice recordings that other ponies can hear.... But this one is damaged beyond repair." I used my magic to start unlocking the the bind. "I doubt we'll get any sound at all out of this old thing." The magical bind was simple, and I doubt that any pony near by would even notice it being broken. The crystal began making noises that couldn't be called words, but I could clearly hear that there were two ponies talking. "Elements.... Harmony." "Elements? What does that mean?" The Doctor asked. The crystal became silent and I tried to remember what elements and harmony had to do with each other. "Why does that sound so familiar... Wait... Elements of Harmony! I remember now! They were Luna's and Celestia's defense system for all of Equestria. They only work when both of the sisters are in harmony. They defeated all of the enemy's that Equestria had." The Doctor raised a hoof to protest. "But you just said that the sisters had to be in harmony to use them. How would they be any use to us?" I took a deep breath. "Doctor I'm not going to lie. I have a crazy plan that could rip apart all of Equestria or kill me." He winced at the thought. "The plans in these situations always has to be crazy and someone would always have to give up their life for it to work.... So. Go on then. Let's hear your plan." "It's only a theory, but the Elements haven't been used because no one pony can use them. They are weak because nopony is in harmony. If I used Discord's magic, I might be able to corrupt them and use them." The Doctor raised a brow. "So suppose we could actually find these... Elements of Harmony, how much power would you need to control them alone? And what happens if they don't exist any more?" I looked to the sky. "Like I said Doctor. It's only a theory. In the worst case scenario they don't exist, but we get to Luna's castle. We can still end the war that way." The Doctor still looked unsure. "I don't mean to drag this out, but how do you corrupt something called the Elements of Harmony?" "Using a magic so powerful that I almost prevented the war in the first place." I responded coldly. A voice broke the silence. A voice that induced the hatred I once felt all those years ago. "Oh your magic was a mere flicker compared to mine." I grinned at the thought. "So long ago. Is that what you tell yourself at night to help you cope with the idea of a regular unicorn almost defeating you?" I looked up and saw the empress Celestia. "The time hasn't been good to you my dear." She chuckled. "But I see you haven't aged a day since we last met." It was like she was spitting the words at me. "Have you come for another fight?" I asked fully confident in the answer. "Or to run away and hide behind all of your soldiers and clones?" "I just wanted to see if the rumors were true. I have no fight with you..... But" The ground was shaking and rocks were falling to the bottom of the crater. "I think they do." The rim of the crater was packed with Celestia's soldiers. They all were armed and ready. "It's to bad. My dear sister will never know that her lover was back. Almost like a tragic story. The warrior returns only to be killed before he can find his love. I think I'll jot that down when I return to the castle." She teleported away. "Doctor.... Can that box come to you on command?" I asked. "Not until it repairs its self. Plus it would take a while until it could find us." He said as he looked around. "Get to it. I'll do my best to stop theses grunts." I didn't come all this way to stop here. I will get to her no matter the amount of ponies in my way! > The Doctor's blue box > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I fired a magic bolt at a charging enemy. "Doctor! I don't think I can last much longer!" I yelled. "I'm working on it!" He yelled back. We had taken a position inside the crumbling castle. Celestia's army formed a half circle around us. Things didn't look good. The Doctor was fiddling with a key and his screw driver thing. I was holding them back with a combination of shield blasts and magic bolts. The unicorns of Celestia's army charged a magic blast together and fired it. I used my magic to raise a piece of ground and deflect the magic. I'm so tired. The stone slab fell on the floor. As the dust cleared I could hear magic blasts shooting out. One hit me directly on the chest plate. The impact was enough to push me back. When I looked up there was a wave of magic to close for me to block. I stiffened up and took the blast. The force behind it was so extreme it knocked my armor off. I was lifted off my hooves and thrown backwards by the impact of the magic blast. I slowly got up, but I knew there wasn't much more I could do. "Doctor stay behind me." They got closer and closer with evil grins on their face, and their horns glowing. Lived a thousand years, but this is where it ends. Suddenly a gust of wind passed an a strange noise rang in the air. My view on the soldiers was being blocked as something appeared around me and the Doctor. The last thing I could see was the soldiers letting the magic shot fly, then I was looking at a blue door. I allowed myself to relax. "See there's the old girl. She's always there when I need her." The Doctor said happily. I turned around and watched as he fumbled around with the large circular thing in the middle. "Any closer Doctor and we would've been roasted." He brushed his mane back. "Well that's the fun way of living life. Anyway, The tardis has had enough time to scan and learn the land, and she repaired herself. Now where are we going?" "Can the tardis search for the most powerful sources of energy in the land?" I asked while trotting up to the desk thing. He put a hoof under his chin. "Well I don't see why not." He flipped switches and moved a box in front of him. I could tell he was frustrated as his large hooves tried to work the components on the desk. "Okay lets see what we got here. I have two large sources of power. One is far to the west and the other is closer to us. I'll presume the closer one is the evil white pony. So I will lock on to the west and." He threw a lever and the tardis started to shake. "Allons-y!" The machine didn't sound to well and I saw the Doctor's eyes go wide. "No no no NO!" The sound was scary as the tardis violently shook, throwing me and the Doctor off our hooves. "I'm guessing it's not suppose to make that noise." I yelled while trying to get my hooves under me. The Doctor was actually standing and grabbing random levers and spinning a weird wheel. "Something is causing a paradox and the tardis refuses to fly." "Equin Doctor!" "She won't fly because something is stealing her energy to keep the world stable." He shouted. "Prepare for impact!" When the tardis hit the ground we were thrown against the wall on the opposite side of the room. I was upside down and the Doctor was laying on his stomach. "That could have been much worse." He said as he stood back up. I pushed myself off the wall and landed on my stomach. "Worse? Worse how?" "Well... we could have ripped a hole in the planet and got stranded there." He said in a matter of fact tone. "Wonderful. Now where did the tardis take us?" I asked, now standing and moving for the door. "It seems that we're closer to the power source to the west, but it looks like we still have a distance to get there. Plus the tardis isn't going anywhere. It's going to be a long walk." I sighed. "Well I guess we better get galloping." The Doctor smiled and grabbed his screw driver with his hoof. We headed out the door and started through a forest. Eventually we found a dirt path and followed that to the setting sun in the west. Me and the Doctor went back and forth about the adventures we had been on. He told me about places I couldn't even dream of. The time he's lived and the things he's seen rival and probably beat anything either princess had experienced. I would tell him about my travels in the void. The tall grass lands, and the wide open deserts were amazing. I told him about this mountain with a large lake at the bottom. The lake was so clear that it was like looking into a mirror. There were two mountains, and an extra deep blue sky that stretched on forever. He enjoyed me stories and I enjoyed his. --------------- After a couple days of trotting down the path with out seeing anypony, we finally stumbled on a town next to a large river. The town was surrounded with high stone walls and large banners with crescent moon's on them. This was a war town. We reached the gate and a two guards held there spears crossed. "With what alliance are you?" He asked. "I have no side. I need to get past this town." I replied coldly. "This land belongs to the New Lunar Republic. You shall not pass." The guard replied without flinching. "Ah good. I just wanted to make sure. Listen I have vital information about the Dark Warrior." I said while looking around. The guards dropped their 'tough pony' act and almost dropped their spears. "That's just a legend." "Yeah! He really doesn't exist." the other guard chimed in. I smiled. "Then I must not exist. I mean after a thousand years, I haven't aged that much." The guards started to get angry. "Why do you waist our time?" "Easy guys. I have something that will prove I'm Lighting." "Show us fool. We are tired of you speaking nonsense." Barked the guard. I used my magic to pull out my journal from my saddle bad. They stared at the book and wondered how that had anything to do with the great Dark Warrior. "Well, go on. Open it, and all will be reviled." They took the book and opened it. The few pictures I had in the book depicted night time with stars in the sky. The flipped through pages of my book until they fell upon the most important drawing. Luna while she looked at her own sky. They both looked up at me with their mouths open and nothing to say. "The stars.... A-and the Princess. It's... It's impossible." "I am here. I am the Dark Warrior." "SIR! WE APOLOGIZE FOR OUR MISTREATMENT OF YOU!" They shouted in unison. I cringed. "It's fine, but please, tone it down a little." "Sorry sir." The guard on the right stepped forward. "Sir my name is Jet Stream and this is my friend Storm Cloud." "It's a pleasure to meet you. My real name is Lighting Bolt and this is my friend, The Doctor." "Hello" He said from behind me. Jet Stream signaled a pony the the top of the wall and the door started opening. "Please enter. You must be tired and hungry. Please stay the night and in the morning, continue your journey to.... Actually I hope you don't mind me asking, but where are you going?" "It's a good thing you brought that up. I need to get to Princess Luna's castle. I have a way to stop the war." I said while looking around. "Ah that's simple. Take a boat and follow the river until you reach the ocean. Her castle is at the end of the river, just before it turns into the ocean." He said with a smile. "Thank you." Storm spoke up. "Sir. If it's not to much of a bother, can you please inform the other stallions of your arrival. It would be a great moral boost to know the war is ending soon." "Of course. Call them here." Storm Cloud and Jet Stream took off as fast as they could spreading the word that the war was coming to and end. The informed everypony to head to the center of the little war village. Slowly they gather and sat down waiting for the me to speak. When Jet and Storm took their places next to me and the Doctor, I stood forward. "Stallions of the New Lunar Republic. I am the fabled Dark Warrior." Jet joined in. "It's true. He has a book with a depiction of the night sky, with stars in it." Storm spoke as well. "And he has a drawing of the princess before her transformation." There were gasps and light chatter. "I have come back after a thousand years to stop this war and make peace though the land. I have a way to end the war peacefully and I promise, you will all be allowed to go home soon. " The stallions started cheering and stomping their hooves on the ground. ------3rd person. Solar Empire.------ Empress Celestia stood on a ledge of her castle addressing twenty thousand soldiers. "There is a threat to the empire's safety out there. A warrior with great power has surfaced and has eluded our grasp. This pony must be caught and killed on site at all costs. We must do this to protect the great and bountiful Empire. All soldiers will advance into the Republic and take all towns. I want to make myself clear in this next statement. There will be no prisoners and no hostages. You will kill everypony you make contact with on the other side of the front lines. This will secure the Empire and nothing will stop us. We will have..... Peace." Soldiers cheered in approval and started marching out the castle entrance. "FOR THE EMPIRE!" Celestia shouted. "FOR THE EMPIRE!" They repeated. This is the night I have waited a thousand years for. The final battle. He will NOT beat me this time. My sisters foolish army will be crushed, her lover will be dead, and I shall rule all of Equestria! "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" > War Comes Across The Nation > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------3rd person------ The town lay in ash as the soldiers dragged survivors out into the open. 5 ponies of different color and race awaited their fate. The horror on their faces was a testament to the shocking events these "civilized" soldiers had made them go through. The soldiers stopped their attack when a unicorn in silver armor trotted into view. One of the soldiers approached him and saluted. "Sir these stallions injured several of our soldiers in the conquest." The grey pegasus yelled. The captain slowly shook his head. "Well we don't have time for any kind of trial. The whole empire is at war, and we can't waste time on these whelps." He glanced over at the stallions. His deep blue eyes cut into their souls. "I think I'll have fun killing these ones. I have gotten a good piece of action in a while." He trotted over to one of the stallions who kept his head down. The captain used his magic to pull his blond mane up and forced him to look. "Want to beg for mercy?" I captain asked. The stallion spat in the captain's eye and smirked. A small magic ring formed around the stallions neck and slowly started to close. His eyes shot open and he started gasping for air as he tried to get his hooves to the magic ring. Nothing worked. The ring started getting tighter and tighter and soon blood was coming from his neck. That's when the captain completely closed the ring. The stallions head fell to the ground and his body went limp. The Captain laughed and looked at the 4 remaining stallions. "Oh, I'm going to have so much fun with you." "Captain!" A stallion yelled. "We have urgent news from your wife!" He looked back at the other stallions and shook his head. "To bad. I really wanted to kill the rest of you, but I guess I'll just leave it to my soldiers." As the captain walked away, screams added to the horrid sound of Celestia's army. The captain walked to the stallion, and the grunt pulled out a letter. To my dearest Night Shade. I hope the battles are going well and I hope you are missing me as much as I miss you. I do miss you more than I can say in words, but I know you'll return. I have troubling news about an old friend of yours. The Dark knight has returned to unite with Luna and destroy our empire. Take your army and push on to the west. Destroy everything that stands in your path. I shall see you soon my love. Queen Celestia ------1st person Lighting------ The whole base was loud with the sound of soldiers packing up the basics needed for a long journey. I stood as a look out to get away from the commotion. The moon was giving me enough light to see into the distance. There was a plume of smoke with a orange glow at the base about 2 miles away. I could only imagine what was happening. "Lighting?" Asked a familiar voice. "Ah Doctor. I wondered where you ran off to." I said while pushing a small woven chair towards him. "Well I wanted to help, but I suppose you don't have magnets here?" He asked. "Mag-net?" He smiled. "Ah. Well I don't want to get in the way, so I figured I'd keep watch." I shrugged. "Be my guest." He sat down and looked at the night horizon. "What do you think that smoke is coming from?" He asked. "Well if it were my best guess, I would say Celestia is trying hard to find me." He ran his hoof over his un-kept mane. "Aren't you worried? What if they come here next?" I smiled. "It's going to take them a while to get their army back together after a town raid like that. I bet the last thing on those soldiers minds is finding some pony that's a supposed myth." He didn't look to happy with my response. "Now is not the time to be smug. Innocent peop.... Ponies are dying out there." My grin quickly faded. "You're right Doctor. I'll go down there and check to see when we're leaving. The quicker we reach Luna, the better." He smiled. "Of course. Have you warned the Captain about that smoke?" My hooves ached as I slowly stood up. "Yeah. He says that we shouldn't be worried, plus this base has gone dark. Right now, we're just among the dark trees and bushes." The Doctor nodded and went back to watching the sky. I would never understand how he feels. He's still relatively new to this whole world, and he's already seen more war, and death than I had ever seen in my whole life. He was something else from a whole different universe and the only reason he was here, was because he crashed and found me. "I have to stop thinking like that." I whispered. "For some reason he's here and I can't do anything to change that." "Lighting! We are ready to move out!" The captain yelled. I looked up and all the soldiers were carrying saddle bags with only food and water. "Captain. What about all your supplies and extra weapons?" "There's no time for that. Quickly put on this armor and walk in formation. I'll wear your normal armor just in case we run into trouble." I looked back at my armor in a box and sighed. "If you think it'll keep me safe." I quickly placed the armor over and we began the march. Things were quiet as we moved along the dirt path. Most of the soldiers carried random supplies in their saddle bags. There was only one large cart filled with documents and extra cloths. I didn't like the silence, or the fact that we were walking with no aerial cover. I felt like something was watching us. "Wait." I whispered. The whole group came to a stop. "You felt it to?" The Doctor said from behind me. "Ya. It fells like we're being followed." I used my horn to make a dim light and slowly checked the perimeter of our group. There was nothing but bushes, trees and grass. I rejoined the group and the captain gave the order to continue the march. --------------- After what seemed like hours, the forest finally ended and we were on grass lands. The rolling hills of Equestria hadn't lost their luster. From the top of a large hill, the captain gave us time to relax. Everypony threw their gear down and hit the grass. I set my gear down, and went to the captain. He was looking to the west, and I understood why. The faintest glimmer of sunlight was hitting a large castle far off in the distance. We were very close to the west coast, which meant we were close to Luna. The captain sighed heavily and looked at me. "It's a strange feeling when I look at you. My mom used to tell me and my two brothers stories about the prince that went missing, and how one day he would return to make peace between the Empire and the Republic. You give everypony so much hope, and that something that had been lost in this world for a long time." I nodded and looked to the west. "For the longest of time, I didn't have hope of seeing this place again. I thought I would fade away into the sands of time. I'm glad I give ponies hope. I makes me believe that all those years weren't wasted. I promise to continue being strong." The captain smiled and looked to the coast. "As will I." After an hours rest, the captain rallied the stallions for one last push. The grasslands made me nervous, because we were in the open and anypony watching could quickly strike. The feeling that we were being followed was stronger than ever. and I continued looking back. The Captain saw how worried I was, and told the group to spread out. It did help calm my nerves, but I couldn't put my hoof on the feeling I was having. It was joy, combined with a heavy set of fear. A cold shiver ran down my back as we advanced. ------2 hours later------ The sun was extra strong today. It might have been an attempt to slow down Luna's army along with us. Even when we got to the coast, the suns intensity counter acted the oceans cool breeze. The palace was in view and it looked safe. We started galloping, letting out saddle bags full of gear fall off our backs. One last push, and we'd be behind the castle doors. Just as we were about to call out, a magic bolt struck the captain. He was thrown closer to the ocean, and smoke was coming off the area where the bolt struck. The group quickly stopped and looked for a pony that could have shot the bolt. When I started toward the Captain, I noticed a set of hoof prints being made in the sand. It was moving faster than me, then suddenly, I was hit by something and knocked away from the Captain. I laid in the sand trying to catch my breath, with my fore legs around my stomach, when it finally appeared. A single Trojan was standing over the captain with a sword in it's magical grip. The sword slowly turned and the point was placed in a gap in the armor, in the neck area. Just as I jumped up to attack. the Trojan whispered "Good by Dark Knight." The sword went right through the gap and, blood spewed from his neck. His fur was stained as it fell to the beach below. It looked up at me with it's massive orange glowing eyes and opened it's stance. I started moving right and he followed. Our hooves were at the same pace, and the now dead Captain laid in the middle. It charged a magic bolt, and fired multiple shots at me. I brang up a magic shield and countered stopped the bolts, but it fired one at my hooves. I was blasted into the air and gripped with a magical bond that wrapped around my leg and mid torso. The orange aura started to tighten and the pain rose. "CHARGE!" When I looked back, the soldiers were attacking the Trojan. The pegisi flew at it as fast as they could. The Trojan countered with magic bolts that hit one out of the five. The rest hit the Trojan with all their front hooves. The grip over my body dropped as the soldiers galloped passed. When the soldiers passed, the Doctor picked me up and dusted me off. Just as I was charging a magic blast, one of the soldiers called out' "Run! Get to the palace! We'll hold this one off. You don't have much time before her army shows up!" As much as I wanted to stay and fight, I knew that he was right. The Doctor and I started for the palace. Across the dark lining of the castle walls, figures began showing up. "Who goes there?" One called out from the top of a wall. "I am the Dark Knight! I'm here to end the war." I yelled at the top of my lungs. "I've traveled a great distance to see Princess Luna. Please let me see her." "Fool! Do you think we could really fall for some stupid trick. Kill them both!" Arrows, and magic bolts rained down from the castle walls. I quickly drew up a barrier. "Damn! Why doesn't anypony believe me! Those soldiers back there are dieing and their deaths will be in vain." The Doctor stepped forward. "Not if I have anything to say about it! Keep your magic grid up. I'm going to try something." The Doctor went through his saddle bag. "Ah there you are." He pulled out a glowing key and set it on the floor. "If you can focus a tiny bit of your magic on this key, we might have a chance." The arrows and bolts were still flying down, but I took a deep breath and wrapped the key in my magic. The noise was back and slowly, the view of the castle was starting to fade. A set of blue doors replaced the view, and when it fully materialized, I dropped my shield and smiled. "See. There's the old girl. So many different power sources in this world she couldn't lock onto the key." He said as he stroked the main round thing in the middle. I smiled and trotted up to the Doctor. "So, What's next? I thought you said this box wouldn't be able to fly." The Doctor looked back and said in an irrtated grunt, "This box has a name." I rubbed the back of my neck and I could feel my cheeks getting red. "Sorry Doctor. What's it's name?" He smiled and ran a hoof along the round thing. "Her name is Sexy." Just as he finished saying that, there were loud bangs on the door. "Open up or we will tourch this box!" A pony yelled from outside. I looked back at the Doctor. "I think we should go." He laughed. "Are you scared?" "Maybe. Only because there is wood and a lock protecting us from a small army and a crazy freak pony." I replied "Trust me. The sun can't even destroy this old girl..... In fact she became a sun once" "Wha..." I was cut off when the Doctor threw a lever. "Come on you old girl. Just a few feet up and a couple yards to the right and we'll be there!" The Doctor yelled. The TARDS shook violently, and made so many noises, until finally, there was one large jolt and we stopped. "Ho she did not like that. One second." The Doctor pressed some buttons, and pulled on a lever, then turned around. "How about we take a look at the palace from the inside? It took me a second to realize what he was saying. "Doctor...... Are we really inside?" I asked while regaining my balance. He nodded his head toward the door and smiled. I slowly went to the door. I wondered where we had landed, but I really wondered if Luna would be behind the door. I raised my hoof to the door handle and pulled it open. As soon as I did, there were twenty Unicorn horns pointed at me. A single stallion gave the order to fire and a torrent of magic was shot at me. I just curled up and waited for the end, but after a couple seconds, I felt nothing. I opened one of my eyes and saw their magic hitting an invisible wall. "The TARDIS has a shield range that could cover this whole castle. I figured someone would wonder how a box got in here." The Doctor was right behind me. "Just wait for them to notice their magic isn't doing anything." A couple seconds of blinding light later, the magic stopped and the soldiers looked in awe. "Please listen to me. I need to see Princess Luna!" One of the soldiers got angry. "Princess Nightmare Moon doesn't take visitors!" I felt a lump in my throat, and I looked around. "Please let me see her. I miss her so much. Tell her the dark knight is here." They all started to laugh. "Of course you're the dark knight. The Princess would find it very amusing." Nopony believes me. I tired so hard and now these guards are stopping me. "SIR! We have a major issue! The whole of Celestia's army is marching across the plain. We need to reinforce the doors!. The soldier he was talking to looked back at me. "You. You're a spy! He distracted us! Move all soldiers to the walls and prepare to fight!" The soldiers turned around and started for the front of the castle, except one. He stayed and watched me and the Doctor. I nudged the Doctor and whispered, "We need to get out of here. My power combined with Luna's would make it impossible for Celestia's army to breach the walls of the castle." The Doctor nodded. "I agree, but how are we going to get past this guard?" Just as I was about to say something a guard pony came around the corner. "We need everypony! To Tarturs with these ponies. Princess NIghtmare Moon will deal with them." The guard pony started for the other pony and they left within seconds. The Doctor smiled and we left the shields protection. "Doctor, do you have a way to find Luna?" I asked while looking down long hallways. "Already working on that." He said while fiddling with a silver stick. "Doctor, what is that thing?" I asked. He face hoofed. "I explained this before." The device started to make a beeping noise. "It's a sonic screw driver." He started galloping down a hallway and with each turn the screw driver's beeps got more rapid. "There is another source of immense power here. The sonic can barely keep track of Luna." The Doctor said as he shook the screw driver. "Celestia must be near. Come on Doctor. We need to find Luna." I said while looking out a window. The suns brightness and intensity were growing stronger. She was closing in for the final battle. We continued down different hallways until we came to a large pair of double doors. The doors had a massive black moon painted on them. The screw driver was on a solid tone and the Doctor turned it off. I took a deep breath and pushed the doors open. There on the other end of the room was a dark blue pony sitting on a black throne. "Who goes there?" Her voice boomed across the room "Princess Luna.... It's me. Lighting Bolt." She rose from the throne and used her wings to slowly come down the stairs. "You must think I'm a fool. I see Celestia hasn't learned from the last Trojan that she sent in disguise." No. Please. Anything but this. "I will destroy you, and then wipe out Celestia!" She began charging a bolt and I was going to run, but something grabbed me. When I looked over my shoulder, the Doctor's light brown hoof rested on me. "Listen. I know you might not trust me, but I have a theory I want to test out." I started to panic. "Doctor this isn't the time or place to test something. She's about to kill me!" I yanked away, but the Doctor pulled me back. "LISTEN TO ME! If it works she'll know it's you." Just as I was about to shout back, a single pony covered in black armor and blood ran into the thrown room. "Celestia's army is in the cas..." A spear split his head open and he fell to the ground. Just down the hall, Celestia trotted at a relaxed pace, while five of her Trojan guards followed closely behind. I looked back after hearing a explosion, and there was a bolt of magic coming at me. There was no time for a shield or for me to jump. I just had to face what was coming. The bolt hit and I was thrown to the entrance of the throne room. I could smell the burning fur and flesh and when I looked down, my right foreleg was completely missing. The blast had gone from my shoulder, all the way to my hoof. Just as I was trying to process the damage, the pain kicked in. It was like somepony slowly pulling the leg off and then ripping it off completely. All I could do was scream in pain. Luna instantly lost the anger in her face. "No.... It. it really was him." Celestia saw the whole thing and she started laughing. "Oh... Oh my goodness! After me worrying all this time, it would be my sister who kills the greatest threat to my empire! Oh the sweet irony." Luna teleported to my side and stood over me. I could feel the tears hitting my face, and slowly everything started to fade. "Ah my queen. I see you didn't need my help?" A stallion said from behind Celestia Celestia stopped laughing and looked behind her. "Hello my love. I take it everything went well outside the castle?" The stallion got close to Celestia's side. "Of course. No survivors." Celestia smiled. "Good. Then our victory is here." I recognized the voice through the daze. "N-Ni...Night Shade?" The stallion in question looked at me. "How do you know my real name?" I slowly turned and looked at him. "I'm Lunar. Remember?" He smiled, but slowly it started to disappear. "L-Lunar..... Why does...." Celestia started to panic. "Ignore it my love. He's the enemy" "Night! It's me! Remember the guard duties we had together? Remember the incident at the palace? You died there!" He took a couple steps back. "No...N-no! It can't be." He wrapped his hooves around his head. "Everything is flooding back!" He fell to the ground and lay limp for a couple of seconds. "Darling... Are you okay?" A stream of magic energy wrapped around Celestia's neck. "Mind control...... MIND CONTROL! IS THAT WHAT YOU CALL LOVE!" He threw Celestia into a wall then tightened his grip. "A thousand years.... You made me kill ponies for a thousand years! I can hear them screaming! I can see their faces!" Night threw Celestia into a wall and charged started toward me and Luna. Night came to my side and looked at the blast. "Lunar.... I don't think I can heal this." I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Go! Fight her, before she regains her power. Right now she is weak. Fight in the name of peace, not hate." Luna and Night nodded, but before they left, Luna kissed my cheek and set me down carefully. I stared at the ceiling as the fighting took place. I could see magic blasts and I felt the rumble on the floor. I started closing my eyes, and submitted to defeat. Then I felt something looking over me. I came to again and the Doctor was standing above me with his screw driver and a big smile on his face. "Well would you look at that. You'll be feeling a lot better in about ten seconds." I didn't know why, but the Doctor's smile made me trust him and I counted down the time. 10....9....8....7....6....5 I started closing my eyes 4....3....2....1.... The pain instantly vanished. My eyes snapped open as I looked at the area where my leg was. A strange magic connected with the bone that was charred and slowly it shaped into a new bone. Magic started to surround me and I watched as bone, muscle, skin and fur, returned in a flash. The Doctor raised a brow. "Well...... This is an interesting piece of evidence to prove my theory right." > I Love You > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "That's interesting." The Doctor said as he moved my hoof and leg around to make sure it was real. "Doc....Doctor, how did you know this would happen?" I asked. He Just smiled and looked past me. "I'll explain later. Right now, this universe needs you." I turned around to see Luna and Night struggling to stand. Celestia hovered a couple feet above the throne laughing. "With the sun at full burn I am gaining more energy by the seconds." "HEY!" I shouted. Everypony looked at me and the Doctor. "I never said we were finished." Her jaw almost hit the floor. "It's.... It's impossible! You were dead." I was tapping in the power of pain and the magic surged through my body. "That makes it twice!" I teleported directly in front of Celestia and hit her in the face with my right hoof with a burst of magic. She flew through the glass behind the throne. I went down to Night and Luna and hugged them both. "I think it's time for you two to rest. I'm going to finish what I started." Celestia busted through a wall and flew as fast as she could toward me. I set up a magic barrier and waited for the impact. When she hit the barrier, a huge blast of orange aura engulfed Celestia. She screamed as more power was forced onto my barrier. Nothing was working. When the aura disappeared she looked up at me. "There's nothing you can do. This world is no longer in your control." I said while holding the barrier up. She looked at the floor and started cackling. "OH you think you can kill me?! I will end you even if I have to kill myself!" She jumped back and looked at me. I'd never been scared from a ponies gaze, but hers was something else. She was laughing and crying at the same time. Just as she was about to attack, Luna called out to her. "Sister! Please don't do what I think your going to do!" Celestia just smiled. "I offer up this contract to the pits of Tartarus. Grant me the power and take what you want!" Celestia's eyes started glowing red ad her horn turned black. She fired a bolt of magic that slammed into my barrier. The force of the impact made me tremble. I would't be able to keep this up for long. One after another, magic bolts bombarded the barrier. The pain to keep the shield up was growing , but it wasn't helping to provide more energy. I started to feel weak and I could see the barrier fading. Simple. I'll just tap into my fear to hold her off. I thought. When I closed my eyes and started thinking of things I could fear, I'd come up blank. What?! Why can't I fear anything? I should be scared of death, but for some reasons it doesn't bother me. Just as the shield was going to drop, Luna hugged me. That's why I'm not scared. She's here with me, so I can't lose! The barrier renewed it's self and I started moving toward Celestia. After a blast of magic I could hear Celestia scream. When the smoke cleared her right fore leg was missing. Blood was on the floor where her leg used to be. Luna cried out. "Sister stop! You know what that kind of magic does to you!" Celestia was still laughing. "DIE! DIE! DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIE!" More magic started flying and blasted the shield and the area around the shield. I looked at Night, who was horrified. That was still the mare he loved, and he had to watch her destroy herself to kill me and Luna. "Night. I'll get as close as I can and you try to calm her down." I yelled over the massive explosions. He nodded and we moved forward. The pain from keeping the shield up was being soothed knowing that Luna was closer than ever before. Celestia changed her attacks from magic blasts, to a constant flow of magic. We got all the way to her horn as her magic slowly faded away. She lost her left hind leg. Night quickly jumped out of the barrier and wrapped his fore legs around her and pulled her close. "Please stop this! I don't want to see you in pain. This wasn't the mare I fell in love with. I want princess Celestia back, not this evil queen. Please!" Slowly, Celestia's horn returned to white, and her eyes began to show again. I dropped my barrier and we huddled around Night and Celestia. She was crying into his shoulder and he was just holding her tight. Blood and burnt fur stained her white coat. The war was over. The Doctor came up to me and smiled. "No more death. No more pain. Just new life." He said. "Right Doctor. That is the way of this new world." "Do you remember what princess Celestia looked like before all of this?" The Doctor asked. I raised a brow. "Yeah why?" "Focus on that image. I want to test my last theory." I took a deep breath and remembered the time I saw Celestia with Night. She looked happy and so did Night. "Look." I turned around and the same magic that repaired me slowly began rebuilding Celestia's missing legs. Night and Luna were crying as Celestia stood on all four of her legs. The sisters looked at each other and after a thousand years of war, death, and hatred, they hugged each other and cried. Night looked at me and smiled. "Thank you." After the sister were done, they came toward us. We gladly accepted our hugs. I looked into Luna's eyes and smiled. "I know it's long over due, b-but.... Do you think w-we could k-kis." She kissed me before I could finish. I closed my eyes and kissed back. We held that kiss for a long time. I wanted time to stop right at that point. My long journey had finally come to an end. I was at peace. We broke our kiss and rested our fore heads on each other. "Everything is perfect." I whispered. "I'm sorry." We all looked at the Doctor. "I'm so so sorry." I smiled at the Doctor. "Why? Everything's prefect now." His grim look didn't change. "No you don't understand. This world is collapsing. We'll all be dead in ten minuets." "How?!" I yelled "This world isn't meant to be like this. I had wondered why the TARDIS had a hard time flying and the sonic had a hard time finding the most powerful source of energy. You are the reason this world exists. A fixed point in time changed, and that caused a separate reality to become real." He looked down. "I had a hard time figuring it out until you told me to lock on to the most powerful creature in this world. The sonic said you were the most powerful, and it's true. Look at yourself and Celestia. That energy is the same as the energy in the void you used to create that world. This whole time I was trying so hard to make it go away, but now this world will end because you've completed your mission. The TARDIS locked on to the key point that changed this world." He looked back up and I could see the pain in his eyes. "You were never suppose to meet the princess. in the original time line, you were sick and in bed until you died." I was taken back. "Why..... Doctor why dose this have to happen?" The doctor took a deep breath. "The universe makes you chose the worst things. There's only one way to save this world from collapsing and turning into a void. I need to take you back to your death. Then the world will be set straight." "No you can't do this!" Luna cried out. The Doctor looked away. "I'm sorry. We're down to five minuets." Luna buried her head into my chest. There wasn't anything I could do. I already knew what I was going to chose. "Doctor." Luna looked up at me. I couldn't stand to see her in so much pain. "If I go will everything from this world cease to exist? Will anypony remember these events?" "Correct. the world will reset to a more peaceful setting and nothing from this war ridden world will exist." I took a deep breath. "It looks like that's the only option." Luna grabbed my right fore leg and pulled me close. "This can't happen! After all of this, we'll just be alone again." "Listen to him. Everything will be alright. You, Celestia, and Night will go on living. I need to do this. I need to make everything right." I said while looking away from Luna's face. "I would rather die, before I let you go again. She yelled. Night suddenly spoke up. "Hey look." He said while looking out of a busted window. We all gathered around the window and saw a bright white light slowly advancing to the castle. "Please be with me in this time of death." Luna asked while holding on to my leg. "Please forgive me." I teleported myself and the Doctor to the entrance of the blue box and shed a tear. "Quickly Doctor! We need to leave." He nodded and we entered the box. He pulled on some levers and spun a strange device then looked back with a hoof on one last large lever. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked. "Yes Doctor. Make everything right." He threw the lever and the TARDIS shook for a few seconds. When it stabilized the Doctor looked at me. "Outside those doors await your future. Once you step outside, you'll remember nothing. I understand that was a hard choice to make." He looked away at the last part. "You've made a similar correct?" He looked at me with a shocked face. "H-How did you know." I just smiled. "I could see that look on your face. The same one I made when I was looking at the mirror before I left." "Yes well. it seems like the universe sometimes rests on the hero's shoulders. Weither what we do is right or wrong." He replied while looking at the TARDIS. "Doctor. Please travel with another pony. I would hate to see you sad in this world." I said while heading for the doors. "You still give advice and care for me in your time of demise. You truly are kind hearted." I smiled. "You'll be the only person to benefit from my words now. The rest of my words will be lost in time." I pushed the door open and a bright white light enveloped me. My life was short, but it was well lived. Though I wanted so much more out of life. I guess I can only image what would've happened after. I just hope Luna is happy. That's all I ever wanted. I think it's time to rest. I've done everything I could.
