Luna and I meet in vinyl's club on Nightmare Night.
I'm a human from earth who was brought to Equestria to teach Twilight Sparkle about humans the way they live and their culture. After I taught Twilight all I knew I was given the choice to stay in Equis or to go home. Being a brony I chose to stay in Equestria. Now comes my first Nightmare night in Equestria.
I stroll through Ponyville on Nightmare Night, all the little fillies and colts dressed as monsters and fictional creatures (at least they were fictional on earth). I stroll farther down the street towards the club and see all my friends going about their business. Apple Jack was standing at her apple cart selling apple pastries, Pinky Pie was sneaking around "surprising" the foals with candy, Rainbow Dash was pranking ponies as usual, Twilight was boring people with fun facts about who she was dressed as (I wasn't even sure who she was dressed as), Rarity was dodging every pony that came her way to protect her outfit (she was dressed as a princess), and lastly Fluttershy didn't show because she was to afraid to leave her house.
I stop in front of Vinyl's night club, a line of ponies going all the way down the street. I can hear bass booming, blue and purple lights in the windows move in rhythm with the bass, and people chanting "Vinyl! Vinyl!". I approach the bouncer,Snowflake, and with a nod he stands to the side. As I enter the club I take in my surroundings , music booming, mares and stallions dancing on the dance floor, the occasional lonely mare or stallion at the bar. That was the norm, but this night was different, being Nightmare Night there were the special decorations, bats hanging from the ceiling, purple and black streamers, all the lights were a purple and blue instead of their normal flashing array of different colors, mares wearing sexy little costumes, most of the stallions were wearing some kinda Dracula or wolf man costume(at least that's what they were called on earth). As for myself I didn't dress to impress wearing only my favorite pair of jeans, my Misfits t-shirt, and my old pair of Vans that I was wearing when I arrived in Equestria. The music stops as Vinyl puts her hands in the air,
" Hold up party ponies!", everyone stops dancing and looks at the DJ, "Let me give a shout out to our special Nightmare Night guest! None other than ruler of the night herself. Princess Luna!!"
A light pans to the back of the club not even ten feet from me trying to blend into the crowd is Princess Luna. She nervously waves. The light pans back to Vinyl as she starts yelling again,
"Just because tonight is Nightmare Night all drinks are half off and the club is open later than usual. Lets keep this party going!"
She bumps up the volume and everypony starts cheering again. I made my way to the bar to get some of those drinks that were mentioned. I stand at the now crowded bar. It seems the bartender was very busy taking orders left and right.
"Yo, can I get some AppleJack Daniels?" He didn't seem to hear me. Fuck. *sigh* I look to my left to see Luna leaning on the bar.
"Can't get a drink either?" I ask with a chuckle.
"Out of all these people I thought I could grab a drink", she sighs again. I look around and notice the bartender is still busy.
"Whats your poison?" I ask Luna with a grin.
"Well, tonight I think AppleJack Daniels", she says stifling a laugh as she fallows along.
"Coming right up." I say as I lean over the bar and grab a bottle of AppleJack Daniels and two glasses. I throw some bits on the counter as Luna and I walk to the less crowded end of the bar. We each grab a stool and sit down I poor a glass and hand it to her then I poor my own glass,
"Cheers" "Cheers", we both say as we clang our glasses together and down the beverage.
"So.. Luna, why don't I ever see you out and about?" I ask as I poor another glass. Luna slightly blushes at my question,
"Well, I sleep during the day, but sometimes I cant sleep so I talk to Celestia. At night I usually come here, but a princess can only take so much clubbing. So if I'm not here I'll go sit on a hill somewhere and admire my work." she replied taking a sip from her glass.
I examine her noticing her attire. That she didn't get all dressed up like everypony else. She was wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a Discord Wears Prada t-shirt (a famous band here in Equestria much like one of the bands on earth), and a pair of All Star high tops. She has good taste in clothing and music. I blink a few times and notice her staring at me. Fuck how long was I zoned out? I feel my face getting warmer. She notices my blush and starts blushing herself.
"Sounds lonely why don't you try to make some friends? ", I say replying to what she had said five minutes ago."By the way nice shirt"
"Thanks" she replies with a smile, but she suddenly went solemn again,
"Being on the moon so long one kinda gets used to loneliness. Plus I still feel like people see me as Nightmare moon not Luna, and this night reminds me of what I used to be." She drinks from her glass.
The music started to get obnoxiously loud and I could barely hear myself think.I look around and see that the bartender filled everyponies orders. Since everypony got their drinks they equally distributed themselves around the bar, and the area Luna and I occupied started to get more crowded.
"Luna, we should go stargazing." I say with a smile. Luna gives me an oh really kinda look then shouts
"Lets go!" as she grabs my hand as we run out of the club.
"Hurry up!" yelled Luna as she ran up the hill ahead of me.
"I'm going to take my sweet ass time. Nothing like a nice stroll through the woods to enjoy the equestrian country side." I say huffing and puffing my way up this steep ass hill while Luna sprinted up it like she was running on a high school track. I was enjoying the view (you know what I meant don't be sexual I was talking about the country side).
I finally reached the top of the hill that over looks Ponyville. I could see Luna's beautiful night perfectly. The stars were brighter than I ever saw them. The moon was full and lit the night as though it were day. Luna sat down on the grass and patted the spot next to her signaling me to sit.I sit and put my knees to my chest. We gaze at the stars for a while pointing out the biggest ones and what patterns we think we see. I kept looking for the Big Dipper and remember this isn't the same night sky I would look at on earth
"You know the stain glass windows in Celestia's thrown room?" I think for a minute,
"Yeah, I've seen a few of them."
"Every one of those pictures is a constellation. Do you remember the one with Twilight sparkle standing in the middle of all the elements and defeating Nightmare Moon."
"Yes." I say as she starts to point at the sky.
"That star right there represents Twilight", she says pointing at a bright star.
"The five around it represents the other elements, and the slightly bigger, but slightly darker one represents me..." She says as she hangs her head.
"Why do you have to arrange the stars this way?" I ask.
"My sister tells me that I must so everypony is reminded of the heroism of the elements, but it just reminds me of what I used to be." She sadly says as she hangs her head. I look at her lost in thought she is such a beautiful person with a great personality that can't escape her past. She has nopony to be there for to tell her its okay. That it is the past.
"Luna" I say as I put my hand under chin and lift her head until her eyes meet mine,
"That was never you" I lean closer to her,
"and it never will be" I whisper as I kiss her softly on the lips. As I brake the kiss and draw away (somewhat bracing my self for a slap) she pulls me back to her and reconnects our lips in a deeper more passionate kiss. I wrap my arms around her pulling her closer to me. She pushes her tongue past my lips into my mouth. Our tongues dance and explore the new mouths they now occupy.
I brake the kiss not being able to breath any more. I notice Luna's dark blue face has a very deep shade red to it.
"Was that the AJ Daniels talking?" I ask with a grin.
"Meh.." She said returning the grin.
"How much of the castle have you seen?" Luna asks as she stands up. I stand up and say,
"Not much just the thrown room."
"Let me show you the rest!" She shouts as she takes my hand and drags me down the hill.

Luna and I climb one long ass spiral stair case.
"This is the only room you haven't seen yet" She says as we continue to climb. She has shown me the entire castle, so I can only guess this is her room.
We reach a door that is guarded by two shadow guards. On seeing the princess they snap to attention.
"Put your hands down." Luna says dismissively. The guards relax and open the door as Luna walks in. Upon seeing me one of the gards grins at the other and the other just rolls his eyes. As I pass I nut check the guard on the left and he doubles over and starts groaning in pain while the other just points at him and starts laughing hysterically as I shut the door behind me.
"My guards are always good at taking jokes" Luna says. I scratch the back of my head,
"Yeah, seems like they would be fun to hang out with." I look around the room and my jaw drops. The ceiling looks exactly like the night sky, the walls are dark blue, the curtains on the windows are purple, and the bed is big enough for ten people.
"You're gonna start catching flies", she says as she closes my mouth with her hand.
"Luna, I've had a great night, but I haven't slept in a while" I say as I go to exit her room.
"You can sleep here." She says as she takes my hands and pulls me towards her bed.
"What if Celestia finds out?" I ask as she lays down and pulls me on top of her.
"Celestia shouldn't care, she fucks every diplomat that walks into this castle." She says as we start making out again.
I wake up in a strange place. Da faq? Before I start to freak out I remember where I am. I'm here in Luna's bed my arms wrapped around her as she soundly slept. I'm still naked. I could feel her warm fur on my bare skin. As I watch her sleep I notice that these pony (anthro people thingies) are very similar to humans except that fur covers their bodies, their ears, tails, and there are the occasional unicorn, pegasus, or alicorn. She shivers slightly. I notice her eyes moving under her eyelids and wonder if she is dreaming or pretending to sleep.
"Good morning." She says as her eyes snap open, scaring the shit out of me (to the point where my eyes widen, but I don't jump or anything like that. Gotta keep up the manliness.)
"You look so peaceful when you sleep." Her face reddens.*slam*
"Luna you need to get up." Says Celestia as she bursts through the door and walks into her sister's room.
"we have an impor- wha- you- ah?!" Celestia just starts twitching uncontrollably (kind of like a seizure).
"cccccccccccccc" Is all she can say. I'm about to burst. The look on Celestia's face was priceless her eye kept twitching and as were the corners of her mouth. I could only Imagine what was going through her head,
"His dahhh and her vaaa ick!"
"Celestia can we get dressed and meet you down stairs?" Luna asked suppressing laughter. Celestia finally got a grip and said the only words she could manage,
"Yes" as she turns around and walks out the door, her head still slightly twitching.
***************** Luna and I walk down stairs and into the main hall. Celestia was standing next to the door that led to the conference room (the corner of her mouth twitching and her left eye blinks occasionally in a insane fashion). Luna looks from her sister to me,
"My sister and I have business to attend to." Luna says sadly. I caress her cheek with my hand and say.
"But I will see you later." And sofly kiss her. Followed by a yak sound emitting from Celestia. Luna brightens up and hugs my neck.
"Tonight at 8 I'll come pick you up for a night on the town. I say as I turn and walk through the castle doors and into Canterlot.
Luna and I walk down the street in Canterlot. I could see the restaurant we were to eat at in the distance. Tonight the city wasn't as busy and buzzing as it usually was (I guess everypony was recovering from Nightmare Night). Most of the shops were closed. There was barely anypony around at all. A few ponies walking down the street (probably to or from work, someone has to work the night shift). Luna seemed pretty exited. She even dressed in something other than jeans and a t-shirt. She was wearing a purple sundress and a pair of what would have been Toms (I couldn't come up with a good equestrian version of Toms) her mane was sparkling brighter than ever flowing all the way down to her lower back. Me, I wore new clothes, a Pierce the Tail t-shirt (you see what I did there), a new pair of black pants, and a pair of shoes that rarity made for me.
We arrive at the restaurant where the snooty douche bag waiter walked us to our seats,
"Maaay I start you off with a drink tonight?"
" I'll take a water" Luna says.
" I'll take a sweet tea"
"Coooming right up sir" the waiter says as he walks away.
" So, how was the diplomatic stuff today?" I ask Luna
"Same o'l same o'l. Just me my sister and a bunch of old griffins and ponies alike. How was your day?"
"Well I helped out the apple family at their farm today. Ya'know it being apple buck season and all. My arms still hurt" I say as I massage my left shoulder. Luna suddenly hits my left shoulder with a balled up fist, and before I can say anything she just bursts with laughter. My pain subsides so I join in.
"Uhmmm." The waiter clears his throat. He brought us our drinks.
"Are you ready to order?"
"I'll take a salad" Luna says
"Aaand for you sir?"
"I'll take a few green apples. Sliced if you please."
"Coming right up." He walks away

Luna and I walk down the street after dinner her fingers entwined with mine. The city even more deserted than before. She suddenly starts to half sing half mumble "Princesses for a Day" by Pierce the Tail, so I join in and before long we were walking down the street laughing and joking. We pasted an alleyway while she was singing and I saw a figure behind a trash can. It looked like Celestia staring right at me. I do a double take and there is nothing there. wow that was weird. I just shake my head and start to sing along with Luna.
We reach the castle after our walk and head straight to her room. We lay down and I fall asleep with her in my arms.
I wake up to my alarm clock buzzing. I face palm
"Just another dream" I get up and get dressed for my first day of sophomore year. Once I reach the school I walk through the crowded hallway to my first period and thats when I saw her. It was a light skinned girl wearing purple skinny jeans and a pair of vans with a Devil Wears Prada t-shirt. I'm so dumbstruck that I walk right into her. She drops her phone she was occupied with and looks up at me.
"Oh, shit" I say embarrassed. I bend down and pick up her phone and give it back to her. As I hand her phone back to her she says with a puzzled look,
"Do I know you?"
"I don't think so, but you do look familiar" I reply using what confidence I have. She looks so much like her.
"Whats your name?" I ask her.
"Megan." She said as she nervously brushed her hair behind her ear.
