This is a the continued version of Foalsat by Pinkie in this version Starlight is shown doing more foal related activities and letting go of all her worries.
This is where Starlight embraces the foal side of her and learns how to relax and what she missed out on due to her being made of magic. She learns how to approach others better and makes more of life. ( I know the photo isn't amazing but my friend recolored it and I like how she does things. But the stories better trust me.)
"Come on Starlight what's so hard about this?" Twilight asks.
"I can't I just can't! I might wear a diaper but I can't speak like a foal no way!" Starlight says being stubborn.
Starlight a black coated Alicorn with a pink mane and tail, even though being a full grown mare her size is slightly smaller than most mares making others mistake her for a teen pony or sometimes an older filly. Starlight though is really a 1 year old foal made from magic. She stands reading over a book that she had found in the useless section of the Canterlot libraries.
"What's so hard about speaking foal? Anypony can do it!" Rainbow asks now chiming in with them.
"I don't know, but I can't it's not something I can just do out of nowhere!" Starlight says.
"Darling that doesn't even make any sense." Rarity says confused by Starlight's words.
"I know. Why did you guys even bother to help me with this in the first place?" Starlight asks.
"Because your our friend and friends stick together no matter what!" Applejack says.
"Also because you asked us to help." Fluttershy says.
"Yea well now I see I was being stupid." Starlight says.
Pinkie Pie out of nowhere falls from the ceiling landing on Starlight.
"Maybe you should observe a foal! I'm sure that would help or just eat lots of peanut butter then try talking! I know I make foal noises when I eat peanut butter and did you know that peanut butter is also great for cookies! and-" Pinkie is cut off by Starlight.
"Pinkie I appreciate the enthusiasm but I can't observe a foal. I just wish I wasn't so afraid to act like one. It's just being the daughter of the princess means I have to live up to that name and well I can't act like a foal with that kind of weight on my shoulders. Plus it would be creepy." Starlight explains
Starlight walks over to a window in Twilight treehouse. This was her favorite window because it had the best view of Canterlot from ponyville, but the only reason why she could see it is because it was a clear blue sky kinda day. Starlight turns back around and looks at her friend trying to think of a better answer.
"I mean if I was somehow forced into it I'm sure I'd just give in. I know for a fact that whenever I get near the nursery in the castle I just wanna hug my mother and snuggle with her. I figured out that it was because I had a foal instinct for things like that. If I could activate that instinct on cue that would be marvelous. But I have to be forced into it to work or it just comes on out of nowhere." Starlight explains.
"Well then we just need to find somepony willing to take care of you as a foal!" Pinkie says bouncing around Starlight.
"That's another problem I look like a full grown mare. No pony in their right mind would want to try erm well baby me. Its a ludicrous idea!" Starlight says.
"Yea that would be pertty weird see'in you all foalified." Applejack says.
"I think it would be a riot!" Says Rainbow Dash.
Applejack then proceeds to hit Rainbow Dash on the forearm causing her to revoke her last sentence.
"Come on theres gotta be someway! I know I could find somepony willing to foalsit you!" Pinkie says eager.
"You know what Pinkie if you can find somepony to foalsit me I will gladly go along with it. But for now I gotta go I'm sure my mother is having another fight with Discord. I wish the chaotic being would just leave her alone!" Starlight says getting her stuff together.
Starlight bids her friends a farewell and starts to fly back to Canterlot.
-3 days later-
Starlight stops by Sugarcube Corner to see if Pinkie Pie had any success in her foalsitter hunt. Once Starlight enters the shop she is greeted by the smell of foal powder and a bouncing Pinkie Pie.
"Hey Pinkie I came by to-" Starlight is stopped in mid sentence by Pinkie.
"Guess what guess what guess what!?!" Pinkie says practically screaming.
"What?" Starlight says unsure whether to brace herself or relax.
"I found you a foalsitter!!" Pinkie screams.
Starlight lowers her ears in embaressment. Luckily the shop was closed at the time and no pony was around except for the twins and cakes who appear to be packing up for something.
"Lower your voice you're gonna tell everypony in Equestria at this rate." Says Starlight.
"Sorry Starlight" Pinkie says lowering her voice to a normal volume.
"Now who's the foalsitter?" Starlight asks
"Me!!!" Pinkie says actually screaming this time.
While Pinkie is yelling confetti flies into the air landing on Starlight who starts to turn pale.
"Y-you?" Says Starlight as she gulps down a knot growing in her throat.
"Mhmm!" Says Pinkie.
"Pinkie I don't think this is such a good id-" Starlight is silenced by Pinkies hoof.
"Foals don't talk like normal ponies silly! They like they have W's in the words or at least I think some foals do." Says Pinkie
Pinkie smiles widely while Starlight sighs.
"wis is gwoing to bwe a wong dway." Says Starlight.
Pinkie happy from the results of Starlight's speech takes her upstairs to the twins nursery to explain the situation.
"Now Mr. and Mrs. Cake will be leaving so I have to watch after you and the twins. Now are you going to be a good foal for Pinkie winkie?" Pinkie asks.
Starlight feels sick to her stomach but also slightly amused either way she decides to follow through with this I mean she doesn't wanna make Pinkie Pie sad.
"Wes." Starlight says.
"Yes?" Pinkie says.
Starlight sighs.
"Wes Pwinkie." Starlight says.
Pinkie jumps with delight. She gallops over to changing table and gets the supplies ready for Starlight. Starlight just sits there thinking what she had done to deserve this.
"All ready! Hop up Starlight!"
Starlight walks over after taking off her crown and boots and lays down on the changing table which was slightly smaller than the one she has in her room at the castle. This causes her hind legs to drape over the side of the table, but none the less Pinkie continues. She first wiped Starlight down with some cold foal wipes this causes Starlight to shiver, then proceeded powder her, finally Pinkie threads Starlight's tail through the hole in the diaper and put the tapes on.
"All done!" Pinkie says in a bright tone.
"Gweat." Says Starlight obviously not amused.
Pinkie then out of nowhere sticks a pink pacifier into Starlight mouth.
"Now stay here I gotta see the cakes off!" Pinkie says.
With that Pinkie bounces off downstair while Starlight spits out the pacifier and lays there trying to process everything that just happened. This was short lived when Pinkie comes back not even a moment later.
"They're gone you can come downstairs now!" Says Pinkie poking her head in the doorway then disappearing.
Starlight was happy to at least be able to walk even though she doesn't weigh much only a few pounds due to her magic constructed body, but she doesn't want Pinkie to know for fear of further humiliation. Starlight walks downstair to find that Pinkie was in the kitchen doing who knows what and the twins were busy building a block tower. They immediately stop building once they see Starlight come down the stairs, Starlight blushes brightly at the thought of actual foal ponies making fun of her with that in mind Starlight tries to sneak into the kitchen only to be pushed back out by Pinkie Pie.
"No bad Starlight. Your not supposed to be in here yet!" Says Pinkie with a serious look on her face.
Starlight shocked began to complain but Pinkie shoves another pacifier in her mouth as a result she wanted to continue further but thought against it and went to sit with Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake. Once she sits next to them the young filly and colt begin to giggle on the account of Starlight wearing a diaper and using a pacifier just like they do. Starlight blushes so hard that not even her black coat can conceal it. Starlight was still shocked on how serious Pinkie Pie was being this changed when she heard the double doors to the kitchen open and Pinkie comes walking out with three bottles.
"Here we go! One for you and you and you!" Pinkie says as she hooves the bottles out.
Starlight pushes hers away this makes Pinkie sad and her mane starts to deflate.
"Please Starlight." Pinkie says with a sad face.
Starlight not wanting to see her friend cry grabs the bottle and puts it in her mouth.
"Now all you gotta do is suckle!" Pinkie says as her mane reflates.
Starlight rolls her eyes and begins to drink down the milk she immediately spits it out after the first drop touches her tongue.
"Whats wrong is it not warm enough?" Pinkie asks confused.
It was real foal formula not milk. It wasn't so much that it tasted bad because it tasted sweet she was caught of guard and spit it out over instinct. Starlight picks up the bottle and starts to suckle on it again this time actually drinking it. She then lays on her back while suckling as she tries to get every last drop.
"See its not so bad!" Pinkie says happily.
Starlight ignores Pinkie and continues to get every last drop of formula. What Starlight doesn't know is that she cleaned out the bottle a long time ago. Pinkie Pie notices this after about 5 minutes and takes the bottle away, as she takes it away Starlight reaches out for it again. After Starlight realizes what shes doing she stops and suckles on her pacifier again.
"Well well look who likes being a foal!" Pinkie says with joy.
"I dwon't wike being a fwoal." Starlight says with her back turned to Pinkie.
"I'll just have to try harder then!" Pinkie says.
Pinkie leaves Starlight to play with twins, but Starlight instead goes off into her own secluded corner not wanting to play with the foals. She sits there watching them closely till her view is obstructed by a pink blur.
"Why aren't you playing with the other foals?" Pinkie asks.
Starlight stays silent and pouts not wanting to speak in a foalish manor.
"Oh come on turn that frown upside down!" Pinkie says trying to cheer up Starlight.
Starlight turns her head.
"Nwope." Starlight says.
"Stallion your stubborn! No matter I can make anypony smile." Pinkie says.
As Starlight averts her eyes Pinkie sneaks up behind her and at the last second before Starlight notices Pinkie tackles Starlight and begins to tickle her. Starlight unable to contain herself begins to laugh uncontrollable.
"N-no f-fair!" Starlight says to which she covers her mouth knowing that she broke foal talk.
"Ah ha! You broke foal talk now you must be tickled more!" Pinkie says in a playfully tone.
"Nwo pwease don't tinkle mwe Pwinkie!" Starlight pleads as she plays along.
Pinkie begins to tickle Starlight again who seems to start enjoy the foal treatment. After awhile Starlight gets up from her tickle session and trots over to the other foals. Starlight in a very shy manner walks over and sits down blushing slightly. The twins politely offer her a building block with the letter S on it. Starlight hesitantly takes it and begins to help them build their tower. About 20 minutes of playtime Pinkie comes out with a big smile on her face Starlight looks over smiling back as she waves. Pinkie comes over and checks each foals diaper.
"Clean, Clean, Clea-" Pinkie stops mid sentence.
Starlight blushes so bright knowing Pinkie stopped on her.
"Come with me little foal cause you need a changey wangey!" Pinkie says giggling.
Starlight follows Pinkie upstairs and instinctively lays on the changing table. Pinkie grabs a fresh diaper, some wipes, foal powder, and some rash creme. Starlight moved around so much pinkie couldn't even begin to change her. Pinkie distracted Starlight with a stuffed butterfly while she removed the old diaper and cleaned her. When this grew old Pinkie made silly faces causing Starlight to laugh and giggle allowing Pinkie Pie to finish up with the powder and creme. When all was said in done they both headed back downstairs where Starlight went backing to playing. This was short lived when Pinkie comes out of the kitchen again.
"Alright you two come with me and Starlight you wait here." Pinkie says picking up the two foals.
Starlight completely heart broken tries to follow but Pinkie pushes her back.
Starlight keeps trying to push through this put Pinkie between a rock and a hard place. Pinkie puts the twins down and takes Starlight back over to the tower.
"Stay here for one minute." Pinkie says running off.
Starlight decides to wait hoping Pinkie will show her the surprise, but instead of a surprise Pinkie comes back with a foal leash.
"Hold still or I'll pinch you with the clip." Pinkie warns Starlight.
Starlight remains still as Pinkie fastens the leash around Starlight then ties her to a post in the shop.
"Alright now if you take that off no surprise and then it's straight to bed. Do we understand each other?" Pinkie says eyeing Starlight.
Pinkie nods in satisfaction then proceeds to pick up the twins again and bring them into the kitchen. Starlight tries to wait patiently but the curiosity is killing her and being part foal makes it all the more worse. Starlight was just about to take off the harness when Pinkie comes back with twins in hoof, she sets them down on the floor to play again. Pinkie come over to Starlight and takes her off the leash.
"Is Starlight ready for her surprise!?" Pinkie says bouncing up and down.
Starlight in a calmer manner than Pinkie nods and follows her to the kitchen. What was waiting for Starlight shocked her slightly, One of the highchairs were sparkling clean and next to it on the island counter in the middle of the room was a bowl. Pinkie walks over to the highchair.
"Now hop up so I can strap you in and we can begin!" Pinkie says with great enthusiasm.
Starlight gets straight into the highchair thankfully her slender body and her slightly smaller size than an average mare allows her to fit into the highchair. Once in Pinkie slides in the tray and straps Starlight into the highchair so she doesn't fall out. Starlight waits patiently for her lunch and is rewarded with her favorite treat in all of Equestria, Pureed bananas which Starlight has loved ever since Celestia made her eat it. Pinkie holds up the spoonful of the delicious treat to Starlight's face.
"Alright time to eat up!" Pinkie says smiling.
Starlight gladly accepts the spoonful of pureed bananas with great bliss. The process is continued till the bowl is empty and Starlight was a mess which Pinkie didn't plan on.
"I knew I shoulda used a bib!" Pinkie says regretting her past decision.
Pinkie leaves Starlight in the highchair and gets a warm washcloth to clean up the mess. Starlight was feeling pretty sleepy until the ding of the shop door woke her up.
"Hello Pinkie are you here?" Fluttershy says in her cute and innocent tone.
Starlight begins to freak out knowing one of her friends was on the verge of discovering her and Pinkies secret. After Pinkie finished cleaning up Starlight she let the foal down and went to greet her other friend. Pinkie bounces up to Fluttershy smiling happily.
"Hiya Fluttershy! Watcha doing here?!" Pinkie says bouncing around her friend.
"Well I was hoping to find Starlight here, her mother asked me to come find her." Fluttershy explains.
"She's in the kitchen! Follow me!" Pinkie says bouncing toward the kitchen.
When the duo arrive they find Starlight trying to escape out the backdoor this angered Pinkie.
"Where do you think your going!?" Pinkie says with a frown on her face.
"I uh I well you see." Starlight says trying to get the words she needs.
Fluttershy just stands there confused.
"Pinkie whats going on?" Fluttershy asks.
Pinkie starts from the beginning explaining all the past events up to the present point in time. Fluttershy only smiles and pats Starlight's head.
"It's nothing to afraid of Starlight! I personally would love to be treated like a foal. Plus foals are cute and fun to play with!" Fluttershy says.
"Well I'm not young and cute like a regular foal." Starlight says.
"That's not true! Your age is the same and you looked pretty cute while I was foalsitting you." Pinkie says smiling wide.
Starlight cheers up slightly from her friends support.
"Thanks girls." Starlight says hugging them.
"Oh um Starlight?" Fluttershy says.
"Yes?" Starlight says.
"You might want to um get dress your mom is on her way here." Fluttershy explains.
"Ok I just need to get dressed before she finds out." Starlight says walking toward the door.
"Too late." Princess Celestia says walking through the door holding Starlight's things.
"Oh hi mommy....." Starlight's voice trails off.
"Home now!" Celestia says anger welling in her face.
"Yes mommy." Starlight says walking out the door.
The Princess walks out the door with her daughter and flies back to the castle keeping a close eye on her. When they get back Starlight runs to her room and shuts the door. She jumps under the covers of her bed crying slightly. After 1 hour Celestia walks into Starlight's room her armor gone.
"Starlight?" Celestia says her voice sounding sweet and caring.
"Go away." Starlight says cold.
"Starlight its not going to make things any better by crying." The Princess says sitting on the bed.
"Well if we talk your going to yell at me." Starlight says.
"Starlight I won't I promise." Celestia says.
Starlight gets out from under the covers sniffling.
"Starlight sweetie why did you lie to me about all that?" Celestia asks.
"Because you would get mad at me for destroying your reputation or because I wasn't doing my job as a princess." Starlight explains half crying.
"Baby I don't care about any of that!" Celestia says.
"Then why were you so mad at me?" Starlight asks.
"Because you lied to me about it all. I don't care about anything as long as your happy! If you want to be treated like foal then that's fine with me!" Celestia says pulling her daughter closer.
"Really? I could be sucking on a pacifier or sipping out of bottle and you wouldn't care?" Starlight asks again.
Celestia giggles.
"No as long as my baby girl is happy then I'm happy." Celestia says hugging Starlight.
"I love you mommy." Starlight says.
"I love you too baby girl." Celestia says falling asleep with foal.
Princess Celestia runs through the hospital halls as fast as she can searching for room 209. When she reaches her destination there on the hospital bed sitting upright was a diapered Starlight looking around curiously.
"Starlight!" The Princess says running to her daughter and hugging her.
"Mommy!" Starlight says hugging her mother.
Celestia takes a better look around to notice that the mane 6 and a doctor were here as well. The doctor walks up to Celestia.
"Um Princess a word if I may." The doctor asks.
Princess Celestia walks with the doctor.
"We don't know what happened, but shes been acting very strangely requesting you and wanting a pacifier? Now we have looked at her file and it says has something called a Foal instinct is that correct?" Doctor asks adjusting his glasses.
"Yes that is correct." Celestia says looking back to see the mane 6 trying to distract Starlight who is crying for her mommy.
"We have a made a diagnoses and we think somehow is may have taken over." The doctor says confused.
"I know this issue. It's happened before." Celestia explains.
"I see...Well in any case you can take her home now. Shes got no physical injuries or mental injuries. I'll just go get your exit papers." Says the doctor reviewing her notes.
Celestia thanks the doctor and goes back to her daughter. She looks at the mane 6.
"Do you ponies know anything about this." The Princess asks.
"Not at all Princess we just found out about this our selves." Twilight says.
Starlight interrupts the conversation.
"Mommy can we pwease go home!" Starlight says holding a stuffed butterfly.
"Of course sweetie." Celestia says in a sweet tone.
"Where did she get the butterfly?"
"I brought it! After I heard about what happened! Foals love stuffed animals and thought it could cheer Starlight up!" Pinkie says jumping up.
"Thank you I appreciate the gesture." Celestia says.
When all was said and done The Princess signs Starlight out and tries to walk home with her, but Starlight insisted on being carried thankfully Starlight only weighed few pounds so Celestia could carry her on her back. All throughout the walk back the mane 6 talked about the possibilities and other things that Starlight couldn't understand in her current state.
"Princess won't it be fun caring for a foal?" Pinkie asks Celestia out of nowhere.
"I won't be caring for her. I'll have Princess Cadence take care of her. I know very little of caring for foals." Celestia says.
Pinkie stops in her tracks.
"But but you have too! It's like code! A mother has to take care of the daughter in certain situations!" Pinkie says pressing the matter.
Celestia giggles at Pinkies outburst.
"I understand my little pony, but even if I wanted like I said I know very little to nothing about caring for a foal as I said before." Celestia says looking at Pinkie.
"What if we taught you?!" Pinkie suggested.
By this time Starlight started crying from the arguing Celestia was ready to argue but thought against it for the sake of the foal.
"Fine I shall allow you to help me take care of Starlight now." Celestia says trying to calm down Starlight.
Pinkie Pie works her magic by going up to Starlight and making silly faces. This stops Starlight's crying as she begins to giggle and eventually laugh.
"See nothing to it!" Pinkie says smiling.
"I suppose." Celestia says looking at the giggling foal worried.
They all arrive at the castle where Celestia leads them to nursery deep from within.
"Wow this place is amazing!" Pinkie says jumping everywhere.
The nursery was sun and moon themed with a toy box, carpet, crib with a sun and moon mobile, and changing table. It was fit with everything a foal needed to be happy, but the real spectacle was the giant sun and moon mobile on the ceiling that moved the sun in the day and the moon in the night.
"It was supposed to be Starlight's nursery, but because she didn't really want to be treated like a foal before me and Luna just left it alone." Celestia explains.
"It's um nice." Fluttershy says looking over the room.
"I never thought a palace would have its own nursery." Rainbow Dash says looking over the mobile.
Pinkie hops over to Starlight who is busy observing the room and all the bright colors. She pulls back Starlight's diaper to find it wet.
"Somepony needs a change!" Pinkie announces.
Celestia levitates Starlight up and onto the changing table which fit her perfectly.
"Um how do I do this?" Celestia says levitating a diaper and powder.
"You mean you don't know?" Pinkie asks.
"I only remember helping Luna when she was younger." Celestia says looking at Pinkie Pie.
"You really don't know anything about foals. Well we can remedy that together!" Pinkie says hopping over to the changing table.
"Shall we begin?" Celestia asks.
"Sure! First you have to remove the old diaper!" Pinkie says point to Starlights tapes on her diaper.
Celestia with magic removes the tapes and takes off the old diaper.
"Now you wipe her down and then powder her." Pinkie instructs
Celestia throws away the old diaper then proceeds to wipe and powder Starlight spreading the powder everywhere.
"Then all you gotta do is secure the new diaper and your done!" Pinkie says happily.
Celestia levitates the front of the diaper up to Starlight then secures the tapes. She looks over her work with delight knowing she passed her first lesson on taking care of a foal with flying colors.
"It wont always be so easy sometimes you have to distract them so be ready for that!" Pinkie says.
Celestia nods. She takes Starlight off the changing table and sets her on the floor. Starlight runs over to the toy box and pulls out a stuffed sun. Then she runs back up to Celestia.
"Wis is fow you mommy!" Starlight says hoofing the sun to Celestia.
Celestia giggles slightly.
"And what am I to do with a sun little one?" The Princess asks
"Waise the sun!" Starlight says doing one hop.
Celestia looks at the plushie sun confused at first, but then raises the sun above the foals head with her magic. Starlight's giggles happily. Pinkie appears right behind Celestia. She gets down and puts her ear up to Starlight's Stomach which growls.
"I think somepony is hungry, but I don't have the time today. Pinkie Pie if you could please take over from here?" The Princess asks.
"Of course Princess you can count on old Pinkie to take care of your foal!" Pinkie says saluting The Princess.
"Good if you need anything I had a mother pony come in and set everything up playpens, high chairs, its all setup! Anyway I must be going!" Celestia says walking away from the group.
Starlight tries to run after Celestia with her stuffed sun, but Pinkie stops her.
"No no baby Starlight mommy needs to go work! Besides don't you wanna have fun with Auntie Pinkie?" Pinkie says throwing confetti into the air. Starlight ignores the comment and begins to chew on the stuffed sun.
"I'll take that as a yes." Pinkie says grabbing the sun and replacing it with Starlight's custom pink and black pacifier.
Pinkie walks into the dining room with Starlight on her back. The dinning room was white with one side Luna's banners and the other Celestia's and at the middle of the room was a long dinning table that had a beautiful red rug underneath and at the end table was a highchair styled pink and black.
"If I had known Starlight was this light I would have carried back on our little playdate!" Pinkie says.
"I still think this is a little werd." Applejack says
"I agree. Why don't we just make this Celestia's problem? She HER daughter!" Rainbow Dash says flying overhead.
"Have you no soul! This poor little foal is our friend! We can't just abandon her! We should try and help her the best we can!" Rarity says patting Starlight head.
"Besides how often do you get to look after a baby alicorn." Fluttershy says nuzzling Starlight's neck.
"Enough with chittter chatter! It's food time!" Pinkie says walking over to the highchair at the end of the table
Pinkie lifts Starlight up making rocket ship sounds as Starlight "flies" into the highchair. Once she is in Pinkie straps her into it and pushes the tray in. A sound of quietly arguing is heard as Cadence pushes her Aunt Celestia into the room.
"She is your daughter! Go take care of her!"
Celestia stands upright and goes over to the 7 ponies.
"Princess what are you doing here I thought you had work to do?" Twilight asks.
"Well all my" Celestia looks over at Cadence who glares. She clears her throat "All my work is done so now I can learn on how to take care of my bundle of joy."
"Great! You watch her while I go find some food! Weeeeee!" Pinkie says cartwheeling into the kitchen.
"I think I'll go help her just in case." Twilight says wincing as she hears plates shattering.
As Celestia watches Twilight run out then she diverts her attention to her daughter who is being surprisingly well behaved.
"You seem harmless at the moment."
Starlight throws her arms up symbolizing she wanted out of the highchair.
"Pway! Pway!" Starlight says her eyes big and watery.
"Aren't you hungry though?" Celestia asks.
Starlight shakes her head, but her stomach tells another story as it growls. Celestia was about to go find Pinkie, but when Pinkie hops out with a small bowl of a yellow substance, three jars, and a bib on her back the Princess sits back down.
"Um Pinkie wheres Twilight?" Rarity asks.
"Shes cleaning up!" Pinkie says smiling.
Celestia decides to get back on topic.
"So what did you find?" She asks curious of what Pinkie Pie acquire on her journey.
"I found some mashed carrots, some applesauce, and something called alfalfa plus some banana pudding!" She says putting the objects on the table.
"Alfalfa is what me and Luna's parents feed us as a foal. If my memory serves me well it doesn't taste very good, but it is excellent for growing foals!"
Pinkie shrugs then ties the bib around Starlight's neck and opens the mashed carrots. She takes a spoonful and holds it up to Starlight's mouth. Starlight eyes it carefully before accepting the mashed substance.
"At least she likes it! Sometimes you gotta distract them with a stuffed animal or make them laugh or one of my favorites make silly noises like Pegasus flying into the factory for work or something like that!" Pinkie explains.
"Ok distract, tickle, and make noises." Celestia says watching Pinkie shovel spoon after spoon of the mush into the foals mouth.
Pinkie feed Starlight everything then finally opens the alfalfa immediately Starlight's doesn't like it. Starlight crosses her hooves and turns her head away her eyes closed.
"Looks like it's time for the distraction!" Pinkie says holding up the stuffed butterfly she brought earlier.
Starlight uncrosses her hooves and stares at the flying butterfly long enough for Pinkie to get a spoonful of the nasty stuff in Starlight's mouth. After the distracting method fails Pinkie moves on the noises.
"bzshhhhhh here comes the Pegsi flying into Cloudsdale!" Pinkie says moving the spoon into the now entertained Starlight's mouth.
Starlight swallows and sticks out her tongue still not liking the alfalfa.
"A couple more spoonfuls and then shes done!" Pinkie says scoop up another spoonful.
"I assume we are going to do the tickle method now?" Celestia asks.
"Mhmm and you get to tickle her!" Pinkie says.
Celestia nods and begins to tickle her daughter in the side where she most vulnerable. Starlight bursts into a fit of giggles allowing the rest of the alfalfa to be deposited into her mouth. After all is said and done Pinkie wipes Starlight with the bib the best she can and lets her out of the highchair. As soon as Starlight touches the floor she takes off running.
"Well she was in a might hurry to get out of her." Applejack said.
"Starlight wait you need a bath!" Pinkie says running after her.
The rest of the ponies walk to the bathroom to find Pinkie had caught Starlight with the help of Princess Cadence.
"She huuu has a lot huuuu of huuu energy" Cadence pants.
Pinkie is too busy to notice the other ponies because she is busy preparing the bath.
"Alright so now we-" Pinkie is cut off by Princess Celestia.
"Um Pinkie do you think I could do this one on my own?" Celestia asks.
Pinkie slightly shocked recovers quickly and nods.
"Go right ahead!" Pinkie says stepping aside and extended her hoof.
Celestia walks into the bathroom and sees Starlight sitting quietly on the floor. Celestia does the first thing that comes to mind and takes off Starlight's diaper, after doing so she levitates Starlight gently into the bathtub which has plenty of bubbles. Next she pours water onto Starlight's getting her wet all over. Starlight doesn't care and continues to play with the bubbles by throwing them into the air. Celestia takes the shampoo and conditioner and squirts them in Starlight's mane and coat getting. She rubs it all in then rinses her daughter again. She takes Starlight out and dries her off.
"Now all I have to do is diaper her? correct?" Celestia asks.
"Yep!" Pinkie says hopping to the nursery.
Starlight is laid down on the over sized changing table where Celestia proceeds to diaper her. After she is diapered Celestia fits a light Pinkie onesie sleeper over onto her and lays her into the crib which has a sun and moon mobile.
"Wow you did that without my help!" Pinkie says impressed.
"Yes and I must thank you my little pony for your assistance in teaching me on how to take care of my daughter!" Celestia says cheerfully.
"Well it's not over yet! You still have to give her a bottle to help her sleep!"
"Oh I'll just go get that and-" Celestia is stopped in mid sentence.
"No need I already prepared it." Says Princess Cadence walking over levitating a bottle full of formula.
"I thought you said I had to do this on my own." Celestia says chuckling.
"You did good enough auntie." Cadence says passing the bottle into Celestia's magic hold.
"I wouldn't have done anything if you didn't force me." Celestia says.
"Eh it was nothing." Cadence says
Celestia puts the bottle in Starlight's mouth who suckles it immediately. After she is done Starlight falls asleep and the mane 6 say there goodbyes.
"I am happy all you ponies came and supported me with this. I'm sure Starlight will appreciate this as much as I do!"
The ponies wave goodbye and leave Celestia to her little foal.
The sun shine through the windows onto the nursery inside the Canterlot castle. The nursery was cleaner than it was 3 months ago when there was a cute little pink and black adult foal running around and playing with everything in sight, but now the nursery is empty. The royal maids did a fine job the diapers were packed into the changing table, the toys were in the toy box, and the crib was neatly made. Starlight takes a deep breathe opening the doors to the nursery again as she has been for the past weeks. She looks around her eyes saddened but showing a bit of confusion. When Starlight had regained her own consciousness of her actions months ago she had denounced ever acting like a foal again. Starlight thought she could overcome this faze and move on with her life, but one little tiny voice in her head kept telling her to do it again and again and again. Starlight turns one of the packs around, on the back was a tear and few bits of cloth wedged in between some diapers. Starlight levitates one diaper out and puts a roll of cloth in it place.
"Like it never happened."
Starlight hops onto the changing table whilst levitating the diaper under her. Starlight padded herself up then got down admiring her work.
"Getting better every time!"
Starlight begins to make silly faces in the mirror for her own amusement. She even wiggles her butt to make her diaper crinkle as it made her laugh from time to time. Starlight stops and looks around the room.
"This used to be so much more fun." Starlight curls up into a little ball.
"No I won't let this get me down! I mean I'm a successful princess who has accomplished many things despite all my obstacles! I don't need this extra security!" Starlight quotes the last part.
Starlight goes to take off the diaper but hesitates.
"Grrr why is this so hard?!" Starlight falls onto her back face in hooves.
Suddenly Starlight's backside becomes very warm. She blushes very brightly her expression a mix of anger and sadness.
"Rrrrr WHY! Why can't I just make this decision and be done with it!" Starlight kicks the ground stubbing her hoof on a jutting out stone.
Starlight tears up ready to cry. Crying is all she knew at this point, she had nopony to talk or help her with this. She was all on her own.
Starlight lays there silently crying herself to sleep. Starlight wakes up hours later unaware of the time. She noticed her diaper was completely soaked from the minute she stood up. It was sagging incredibly low which caused Starlight to blush brightly.
"I'll just take this off."
She removes the diaper cleaning herself with wipes in the process finally at the end depositing the soaked diaper into the bin located right next to the changing table. Starlight walks out the door quietly closing it behind her.
"I'm so glad no pony decided to check the nursery. I would have been in big trouble if so."
Starlight yawns loudly and decides to retire to her room. She opens the door to her lovely lit room. Starlight had went for a more natural look there were crystals all around the room that glowed blue in the night and bright orange or yellow in the day. She also had a big bookcase and round bed with a plain black fuzzy cover over it. She walks past her pony mannequin that held her star crown and boots. Starlight finally ends up under her covers ready to sleep.
"Wait a minute."
Starlight reaches under her pillow and pulls out a pink pacifier that was salvaged from the nursery. She plops it into her mouth and begins to suckle away as if the had no care in the world soon Starlight drifted off attempting to suckling her problems away in her sleep.
-------------------------------------- Luna watches Starlight as she had been since she discovered the pacifier under her pillow.
"Poor Starlight."
Luna understand that Starlight is confused about everything and doesn't want to hurt her sister, but she worries for the foal for she couldn't keep this lie going forever. Luna delves into Starlight's dreams. Starlight's dreams were always the same making up little moments of her and Celestia, even though Starlight wasn't biologically Celestia's daughter she had always thought of her as one and tried her best to make her mother proud. Starlight's dream was about the first time Celestia taught her how to fly properly, at the time Celestia was unsure of whether to put Starlight back into magic stasis. Starlight was wobbling badly and could hardly fly without Celestia's magic. The dream fast forwarded to Starlight's first time in years experience with thunderstorms. She was snuggled up in Celestia's wing peeking out to see if its safe and ducking backing everytime lightning struck. Celestia giggled.
"Don't be scared my little foal its just lightning remember mommy won't let anything harm you."
"But its so scary!"
"It may be at first but your not the only one that was scared when they were younger."
"Really?" Starlight says looking up at her mother.
"I was scared of it as well as Luna when we were your age."
"Auntie Woona was scared?" Starlight's eyes grow big.
"Yes she was." Celestia giggles.
Starlight looks back at the lightning not ducking in as it struck.
"So much trauma and stress for one poor misunderstood pony. Starlight why is everything so hard with you."
The dream fades out. Luna opens her eyes to find everything the same. She was still sitting on her cloud and Starlight was still sleeping. Luna flies down into Starlight's room through the balcony window. She walks up to her watching Starlight silently as her chest rises up and down. Starlight was always a sound sleeper never had made a fuss. She was always kind to other and never tried to show her own pain this made Luna sadden much more. Luna walks out of the room leaving the foal to sleep in peace.
Its been weeks since Starlight had gotta to relax and visit the nursery, but finally after getting the last of her princess reports done she takes her normal route to the nursery avoiding anypony she can to preserve her precious time of relaxing. Starlight reaches the nursery not wasting any time at all opening the door and slinking into her safe haven.
"Phew finally I can re-" Starlight stops.
Starlight immediately knew something was wrong. The nursery was freshly cleaned when it wasn't due for a cleaning in another 2 weeks and the room was lit up which lifted its previous sad gloomy feeling it gave her now and then. Starlight galloped over to the changing table and pulled out the pack of diapers she'd been using. The package was brand new and unused.
"I've been found out!"
Starlight turned tail and ran to the door, but before she could open it the door swung open and Princess Celestia walked in. Starlight skids to stop falling on her flank.
"Mommy?!"
"Hows the little foal doing?"
"I um well you see!" Starlight struggled for words.
"Don't worry sweetie mommy will take care of everything!"
Celestia used her magic to lift her daughter high and onto the changing table. It was a familiar setting to Starlight she had grow used to its tingling feeling though she couldn't enjoy it this time as she tried to find words to explain her predicament. Celestia levitated the items out from under the changing table. These consisting of foal powder, wipes, and one puffy white diaper with pink tabs.
"Mommy whats going on did I do something wrong?!" Starlight finally speaks up.
Celestia not keeping eye contact but continuing the ritual responds.
"Well I understand how you've been feeling lately and well I called Pinkie She'll be here tomorrow."
"Wait what?!"
"I thought you wanted this?"
"I guess."
"Then just enjoy it. I've got a few surprises for you this time around."
Starlight sits back as Celestia finishes up.
"Hooves up."
Starlight lifts her hooves up as a beautiful pink dress over her. The dress was sleeveless with a few layers in the back. Starlight was gently pushed back down my Celestia as she snapped together some buttons near her diaper area. Celestia proceeded to put Starlight's signature black and pink pacifier into her daughters mouth for the and a large pink bow in her mane for the finishing touch.
"There all ready for the day! Now one of your surprises start now. You can't speak to anypony in normal pony talk and you cannot do any big pony things."
The foal nods intently already knowing this was coming. Starlight is levitated off the changing table and onto the ground. The view perspective hasn't changed at all for her. She still felt like a little foal with everything so big and her size didn't help. Ever since she could remember Starlight was only a little bit bigger than a filly but still too small to be a mare. Starlight couldn't resist it anymore she release a few stress filled suckles.
"Starlight don't you wanna play with your toys?"
Starlight looks over as Celestia levitates a few toys onto the ground. Starlight replies with a few suckles as she slowly walks over to her mother. Celestia was standing next to a little wooden table that rested on a rug which had numbers on it. Starlight finally reached her destination and sat on the floor. She automatically went for the Princess Celestia plushie as it was her favorite. Starlight spent the rest of her time playing with blocks with one hoof while the other was occupied but the plushie of her mother. It wasn't till a loud rumble from Starlight's belly stop the fun. Starlight looks up and notices Celestia had disappeared. She gets up and puts the plushie Celestia on her back then heads off to find her mommy.
"Suckle Suckle"
Starlight peaks her head out the door to see if the coast is clear. She begins her adventure into the unknown to find her mother though it wasn't that unknown since she knew every part of the castle. Starlight set off walking down each hallway checking every room some ponies gave her weird looks though it would be weird to see a powerful princess sucking a pacifier, wearing a foal like dress and a diaper. Starlight gives up her precious pacifier to allow her to speak thankfully the pacifier's pink ribbon that was around Starlight's neck keep it from getting lost.
"Mommy! Where awe yoo mommy?"
Within seconds Celestia comes running around the corner. She stops in front of Starlight who jumps with joy.
"Mommy! I missed yoo!"
Starlight hugs her mother.
"Starlight I was coming to get you for lunch! What's mommies baby girl doing out of her beautiful nursery?"
"I was wooking fo yoo!" Starlight goes back to hugging her mother.
Celestia levitates the plushie of herself up to her face.
"She really missed me." She mumbles.
Celestia smiles and levitates Starlight onto her back and walks off to the kitchen. Celestia took a detour from the kitchen and into the dinning area where a pink highchair waited for Starlight. Celestia slowly levitated Starlight into the foal chair strapping her in and tying a bib around her neck. The bib was the same used before it was pink with silver shimmering print that said "Starlight." with a little squiggle coming out of the dot on the "i" and under the name underlining. Starlight reached for her mother as she began to walk away.
"It's ok sweetie mommy will be right back."
Celestia leaves and comes back moments later with a bowl of green stuff. Celestia lifts a spoonful of the stuff up to Starlight who sniffs it. Starlight gags and pushes it away.
"Come on honey you gotta eat your alfalfa if you wanna grow up to be big and strong like mommy!"
Starlight still refuses to eat the disgusting green goo. Celestia rubs her chin thinking of a way to to get her to eat the alfalfa. Finally Celestia comes up with an idea. She spawns a feather from out of nowhere.
"Now Starlight this is your last warning are you going to eat your food like a good little foal?"
Starlight shakes her head. Celestia initiates her plan and begins tickling the foal with the feather. Starlight burst out laughing giving Celestia the opportunity to shove a load of alfalfa into Starlight's mouth. Starlight swallows and glares at her mommy. The process continues till at least half the goo is gone, unfortunately the other half ends up on Starlight not even her bib could protect her. Celestia cleans Starlight up with her bib and lifts her out of the highchair.
"Alright time to take a nice bubble bath and then its time for beddy bye!" Celestia says nuzzling the nose of Starlight.
Celestia enters the bathroom and draws a bath whilst setting Starlight on the ground.
"Lay down."
Starlight lays on her back as Celestia undo's the snaps at the end of her dress. Celestia removes a very wet diaper as well as the dress. She then sets foal into the tub which is full of warm water. Starlight begins playing with all the toys in the tub, but Starlight instead of playing with the toys took the washcloth and drapes it over her head. Celestia simply giggles and takes the piece of cloth washing Starlight with it very gently. Starlight felt her stress just melt away with every stroke of her mothers hoof. Starlight opens her eyes as the washclothe parts from her coat this upseting her slightly. Starlight turns around and gives Celestia the biggest cute eyes she's ever given.
Celestia chuckles "Ok ok you can stay in a little longer while I get a fresh diaper and towel."
Once Celestia leaves Starlight sinks down into the tub and again drapes the cloth over her face to keep it warm. Celestia comes back not even 3 minutes later with a fresh diaper and a footed pink onesie.
"Doesn't somepony wook comfy!"
Starlight jumps the washcloth flying off her face and into the tub.
"Alright time to get out."
Celestia wraps a pink plush towel around Starlight's upper body lifting her out of the tub and pulling the plug letting the water swirl into the murky depths below. Celestia dries Starlight completely off before diapering her and fitting the pink footed onesie on her putting her pacifier in for final effect.
"You wook adowable!!"
Starlight yawns her eyes droop slightly indicating she was in need of desperate rest. Celestia levitates the tired foal onto her back walking as gently as she could to the nursery. Once there Celestia wastes no time levitating Starlight into the bigger crib along with all the stuffed plushies of ponies. Starlight at this time was already fast asleep after the long stress relieved day she had.
"I was going to give her a bottle, but I guess not."
Celestia leaves turning off the light and letting the special yellow glowing crystals light up.
-The Next Day-
Starlight's eyes blinked lightly as the shone shown brightly through the window in her nursery. Starlight blinked a little more as she heard hushed voices from beyond her crib.
"Shh sh shes waking up!"
Starlight fully opens her eyes to find that Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, and Pinkie Pie were watching over her. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Rainbow Dash sitting in the corner. Starlight turned her attention back to the others.
Starlight could help, but giggle and smile at Pinkies baby talk it always seemed to amuse her. After her giggle Starlight focused on one question.
"Where mommy?"
Twilight took her turn at speaking this time.
"I'll go get her!"
Twilight runs off leaving the 3 mares and 1 foal to themselves. Starlight took this time to observe the room and the ponies. The room wasn't any bit different so she went onto the ponies and now here is where she noticed a change. Everypony was smiling wide except for Rainbow Dash who wasn't smiling and looked very grouchy. Twilight finally returned with Celestia who looked to be in hurry. Starlight sat up and reach for Celestia.
"Alright let's be quick! Starlight now here comes another surprise! Each pony in this room will be accompanying you as foal for one day."
"Weally?"
Celestia nods. Starlight looks over at Rainbow now putting the pieces together. This explains why she was so grouchy.
"What about evewypony welse?"
"Unfortunately Applejack and Rarity cannot attend this for they have businesses to attend to."
Starlight nonetheless was super excited and it was showing as a big smile was plastered across her face. Celestia soon departs leaving Twilight in charge.
